Tusk:

Never in my life have I been so happy with a 'second place'. Poland won, democracy won. We removed them from power
- Listen, we did it, really. I know our dreams might have been even more ambitious, but I will tell you: I have been a politician for many years, I am an athlete. Never in my life have I been so happy with this supposed second place. Poland won, democracy won. We removed them from power - said Donald Tusk during election night.

21:15

Tusk:

Today We Can Say: This is the End of That Bad Time, This is the End of PiS Rule
- A year ago, no one believed this. Even 3 months ago, we weren't sure - he continued. Even yesterday, people approached me and asked: are you sure you can manage? Because it hasn't been possible for so many years. Listen, everything indicates – and I greet all those thousands of people who are still queuing at polling stations – that this result could be even better. But today we can say: this is the end of that bad time, this is the end of PiS rule - said Donald Tusk during the election night.

21:20

Tusk:

No one can take this away from us anymore. We've won democracy, freedom. We've won our beloved Poland back.
- I want to thank the thousands of Polish women and men who are also sitting at polling stations right now, ensuring that no one tries to pull any tricks there. This result speaks for itself, no one can cheat this anymore, no one can take this away from us anymore. We have won democracy, freedom, we have won our beloved Poland back – said Donald Tusk during the election night.

21:21

Kaczyński:

We Will Do Everything Possible to Ensure Our Program Continues to Be Implemented, Despite Everything
- We have the first results of the polls. They give us a fourth victory in the history of our party. A fourth parliamentary election victory and the third in a row, this is truly a great success. A great success for our formation and our project for Poland. But of course, the question still stands before us as to whether this success can be translated into another term of our governance. And we do not yet know this at this moment. But we must have hope and we must also know that regardless of whether we are in power or in opposition, we will implement this project in various ways and we will not allow Poland to be betrayed. We will not allow Poland to lose what is most valuable [...] independence, the right to decide its own destiny - said Jarosław Kaczyński at the election night gathering. - We will also do everything possible to ensure that, despite everything, our program, despite the coalition that is against us, continues to be implemented. And this path is not closed at this moment. Remember this. Remember that days of struggle, various tensions, still lie ahead of us, but the finale, this finale in the form of the continuation of our program, the continuation of everything we have done for Poland [...] will ultimately be our victory, but above all, Poland's victory - he continued. - Let's wait now for further developments. There may be interesting events - he added.

21:22

Tusk:

I want to thank you all very much. First and foremost, Kosiniak-Kamysz, Hołownia, and Czarzasty
- I want to thank you all very much. First and foremost, congratulations to our partners from the democratic opposition. To Mr. Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, to Szymon Hołownia, Włodzimierz Czarzasty. To all the voters of KO, and these parties, we have achieved something great together – said Donald Tusk during the election night.

21:30

Tusk:

We Will Guard These Elections All Night. No One Will Steal Them From Us
- We will guard these elections all night. As you know, tens of thousands of people are sitting in polling stations, guarding, and will send us information. No one will steal these elections from us anymore, we will truly ensure every vote is counted, so that tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, we have what we already have at this moment - said Donald Tusk during the election night.

21:32

Tusk:

This is one of the most beautiful days for Polish democracy, a day that will go down in Polish history as the dawn of a new era
- My sincere thanks to all the voters. You have achieved something great. For yourselves, for Poland, for your families. This is one of the most beautiful days for Polish democracy. I have no doubt that this day will go down in Polish history as a bright day, as a day that opens a new era. The rebirth of our Republic – stated Donald Tusk during an election rally.

21:32

Czarzasty:

Let's Wait for the Results, There's Never Been Such Turnout

- Let's wait for the results, there's never been such turnout. All the models being counted right now are underestimated. We don't know which way this estimate will lean, but we do know we will be co-governing, so let that smile grace your faces. I'm not malicious, but just imagine the faces of the people in PiS - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at the Lewica election night.

21:33

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Without the Third Way, There Would Be No Victory
This is a great responsibility, it is a vote for our slogan, with which we went into the elections – enough arguments and finally moving forward – to be realized. This is our commitment, this is our promise. Thank you that so many people have trusted a new idea today, an initiative without which democracy would not have won, without the Third Way, there would be no victory. We said this from the beginning. At first, not everyone believed. The words spoken by Mahatma Gandhi, that first they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, and in the end, you win. They have proven true for the Third Way – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

21:33

Hołownia:

On October 15th, Quarrels and Handouts Ended in Poland, and Cooperation and Investments in Our Future Began

- We thank you all, because you are the authors of this hope that fills this evening. I am not Joanna Szczepkowska, I do not have such competencies or authority, but I can risk it today, even though we do not have official results yet, we will wait for them patiently, but I think I can risk it now to say that on October 15th, quarrels and handouts ended in Poland, and cooperation and investments in our future began - stated Szymon Hołownia.

21:38

Tusk:

Results Could Shift Slightly in Favor of the Opposition

- I believe the results could shift slightly in favor of the opposition. Looking at these queues of thousands, especially in large cities, but regardless, (the President) has the right to indicate who they consider the proper candidate to form a government. They will indicate, if that person gains a majority, okay, that's democracy, but it will still return to those who won the elections, one way or another - stated Donald Tusk on TVN24.

21:41

Czarzasty:

Regardless of the Numbers, They Still Need to Be Confirmed – After 18 Years, The Left Returns to Co-governance

- 8 years ago, there was a moment when The Left was ousted from parliament. I'm speaking for myself now, and I apologize for saying this, but I want to say that I have two immense satisfactions: that we returned to parliament with this team. Regardless of the numbers, they still need to be confirmed; after 18 years, The Left is returning to co-governance. I want to tell you that no one can take this away from us, there is no possibility of that – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at The Left's election night event.

21:46

Tusk:

I Don't Believe in President Duda's Malice

- I don't believe in any such determined malice on the part of President Duda. He has been president for so many years, he will surely show reason and responsibility - stated Donald Tusk on election night.

21:50

Tusk:

It's evident at PiS headquarters that they know they're saying goodbye to power

- I think that judging by the tone and atmosphere at PiS headquarters, it's clear they know they are saying goodbye to power - stated Donald Tusk on election night.

22:04

Morawiecki:

A Historic Victory. No Party Has Succeeded in Winning Parliamentary Elections Three Times in a Row in the Third Republic Era
- I wanted to sincerely thank all our voters, as there are about 8 million of them, if these results are confirmed, and perhaps they will improve slightly - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Polsat News. - This is a historic victory, because it must be emphasized that no party has managed to win parliamentary elections three times in a row in the era of the Third Polish Republic - he continued.

22:09

Gosiewska:

Anyone Who Sides with Tusk is Simply a Traitor, Period.

- Anyone who sides with Tusk is simply a traitor, period. But people chose PiS. I believe we can agree here that PiS won the elections for the third time. Am I mistaken? – stated Małgorzata Gosiewska in a conversation with journalists.

22:10

Morawiecki:

Referendum Saw Very High Turnout Too. Around 40%, Maybe Even More Poles Spoke Out
- I don't really know what this concept of 'democratic opposition' is, because in reality there are very numerous parties there, a great many of them, and on the other hand, certain actions, discouraging people from the referendum, seem anti-democratic to me. But that's in the past, as it were. The referendum also had a very high turnout; from what I heard, around 40%, maybe even more than 40% of Poles responded to these four very important questions - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Polsat News.

22:18

Morawiecki on Coalition with Third Way: "We are ready to talk to everyone. We will see how the final number of seats takes shape."
- We are ready to talk to everyone. We will see how the final number of seats takes shape, that's the first thing - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki told Polsat News, when asked if he would want to talk to Third Way about a potential coalition government.

22:23

Morawiecki:

In the first step, we will certainly attempt to build a parliamentary majority
- What is also most important is that, according to the rules of democracy, most likely, as it is the President's decision, he will entrust the mission of forming a government to the winning party, and in this first step, we will certainly attempt to build a parliamentary majority - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Polsat News.

22:33

Morawiecki:

There were supposed to be different scenarios, we were supposed to lose these elections. Meanwhile, we have a 5 p.p. difference, we have once again defeated PO.
- It's difficult to prophesy anything definitively today, because we don't know what the final result will be and how it will translate into the number of mandates. Significant changes can still occur here, that's the first thing. And secondly, there were supposed to be different scenarios, we were supposed to lose these elections. Meanwhile, what you, the voters, have shown is a five percentage point, perhaps even over 5 percentage points difference. We have once again defeated PO. This is also a very, very good result – Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Polsat News.
