- Poles see what healthcare looks like every day, they see it in queues for doctors, at emergency rooms, in various circumstances when they cannot get there, they see it when a family has to pool money because the state is not living up to its responsibilities. Poles see it when a child cannot get to a pediatrician, when ordered equipment, sometimes from before 2023, is not being used - stated Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

- Poles see this every day, and precisely at such a moment, at such a special time, an exceptional, disgusting affair occurs, the Kacprzyk affair. We are dealing with a situation where one man, very strongly connected with the PO elites, who was the head of Nowa Generacja (New Generation), Donald Tusk's youth organization, PO, for 3 years, this man simply drained the Polish state. That's how it must be said - he continued.

- Today we will make a decision on this windfall tax, to put it simply, thanks to which it will not be the taxpayer through the state budget, but these companies will largely finance the cost of the CPN operation. They will not lose on it themselves, but they will not profit either - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.

- Practically the entire public opinion was outraged by the information about the earnings of one of the young doctors, there was also a political context in a sense. An investigation has been initiated, and depending on its outcomes, there may be legal consequences. The prosecutor's office will also be looking into this situation - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.

- Regardless of the final assessment of the legal situation, the fact of such astronomical earnings, and in an unclear employment structure, with uncertainty about how services are actually rendered, needs no convincing for anyone. It is, unfortunately, merely an illustration of a broader problem we are facing - he continued.

- We must, together with the medical community, with all stakeholders, but we must truly ensure, and this is also in the interest of the doctors themselves [...] that this growing wave of suspicion and uncertainty about how earnings look, what they are paid for, and whether they are justified, does not continue - he went on to say.

- The information about doctors without specialization earning almost two million zlotys is certainly, to put it mildly, disturbing - he added.

- The problem is that in the current system, the Ministry of Health and the National Health Fund (NFZ) have not had the ability not only to control but even to obtain knowledge about who earns how much in a given unit or hospital. All this data is anonymized, and we have no insight into it - he noted.

- This is not about our curiosity [...] rather, it is in the interest of the doctors themselves that we have reliable information available, in this case, to a government agency subordinate to the Minister of Health, on how earnings look in individual units, so that we can reliably and sensibly price these procedures and the doctors' share of earnings in a given procedure, to get things back on track - he stated.

- Today we will adopt a very brief draft bill that will enable a government agency, not for publication in newspapers, that's not what we're talking about, but for a government agency to ascertain who earns what and where, in order to rationalize it and to prevent, I hope single, scandalous situations from occurring - he said.

- All Poles were awaiting news about Izera, the Polish electric car that Poland was supposed to build together with China during Prime Minister Morawiecki's government [...]. That project was never completed - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said during a government session.

- We have undertaken the project in three directions: to seriously reactivate the work of the Polish company ElectroMobility Poland [...] we have found a new partner for this company [...] it is Hon Hai Technology Group from Taiwan [...] we have secured 4.5 billion euros in funds from the KPO (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), without which I would not have decided on this venture - he continued.

- The agreement will be signed in the autumn [...] and the construction of the factory in Jaworzno will commence a few months later, after the preparations for this investment are completed. Ultimately, we are to have 4,000 jobs at this plant alone, and the first car will roll off the production line in 2029 - he went on to say.

- Our predecessors started with a name and a flashy presentation; we will not proceed in this manner. For now, we will wait until the factory construction begins, but I will be interested in your opinions and the opinions of Poles on what the Polish electric car should be called. These are three types of mid-size SUVs. We will have exclusive rights to sell these cars in Europe, with a target of 400,000 per year - he added.

"I wanted to inform you about the finalization of the work [...] For us, it is very important, and we have emphasized this from the very beginning, that investments in Poland should benefit Polish companies, Polish employees, employers, and Polish scientists, whenever possible. We have been working with Minister Balczun [...] on such recommendations," said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.

"Good practices, this is Local Content, meaning the participation of Polish companies. Of course, we can only obligate State Treasury companies, but I am convinced that these good practices will become widespread," he continued.

"This, as some ill-wishers call it, economic nationalism, Polish economic nationalism, I am not ashamed of this definition. I will sign this document, these recommendations, right now, and from today they will become binding for our officials and managers who work for the Polish state," he went on to say.

- Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz has proposed a draft resolution, which I will present to you during the government meeting, a Council of Ministers resolution on taking action to establish a permanent base for the United States Armed Forces, and it concerns the creation of logistical, financial, organizational, and housing conditions. This is, contrary to appearances, a very serious undertaking - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the government meeting.

We gathered first thing this morning to hear Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz's report regarding the Polish state's preparations for receiving American soldiers - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government meeting.

- We cannot wait for the realization of this commitment, this information stated by President Trump about American soldiers in Poland; we must prepare for it so that once this decision is implemented, American soldiers have a place to station - he continued.

- The best guarantee is the establishment of a permanent base - he emphasized.

- I propose that by October 1, 2026, a portal be created where all job advertisements for medical professionals will be published. This is to prevent hospitals from hiding them. Some directors, of course, do this; I have a number of examples of this. They hide competitions in some tabs, and they are not visible to everyone. Consequently, only the 'king's men' find out about these competitions and win them, sometimes 'in quotes' - stated Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

- Second point – let everyone who receives contracts from the public healthcare system honestly present these contracts they have. So, the first point is competition, the second point is transparency - he continued.

- Third point – diligence. Let diligence involve the registration of working hours and on-call duties, sometimes performed remotely or by phone. No later than July 1, 2027, a special portal is to be created where all such on-call duties will be registered. Work will be registered there. There must be appropriate record-keeping of these types of contracts - said the former Prime Minister.

- PO is a party of deals, elites, a party for milking the Polish state. We see this at a time when the National Health Fund (NFZ) has no money to pay for medications. I heard from doctors this morning – there's no money to pay for life-saving medical procedures. Meanwhile, a prominent 28/29-year-old activist, a PO councilor, is involved in a scandalous swindle – stated Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

- Regarding the murder in Biała Podlaska of a citizen of the Russian Federation, a critic of Putin, by perpetrators currently unknown – this raises the greatest concern. Because it means that if the motive for this murder was indeed political and related to criticism of Putin's regime, then it means that people from the Russian Federation's services must have carried it out. If this was indeed the case, I repeat, if, and it happened in the very peaceful city of Biała Podlaska, in the Lublin Voivodeship, then we are entering a new, much more dangerous era for the Polish state - stated Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference in Warsaw.

- This requires immediate, in-depth clarification, also concerning the activities of Polish services and their knowledge regarding this murdered individual and the circumstances of threats directed at him. These are all matters about which we currently have no information, although the concern is immense - he continued.

- Regarding the doctor, a plucky twenty-something, without a specialization, who managed to extract 1.6 million annually from public funds at the hospital, that's a touching gesture from Civic Platform. I would be more touched if those Civic Platform cronies of Mr. Kierwiński, who facilitated the employment of this head of Civic Platform's youth wing in this position and allowed him to earn, in quotation marks, of course, such money, were held accountable, because we are aware that this matter must be fully investigated for fraud - stated Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference in Warsaw.

- We firmly stand by our position that we will not force anyone to work after reaching retirement age; we are sticking with the current retirement age. There will be no changes in this regard, but we want to encourage retirees, an increasing number of them, to take up additional work. Especially since there are professions, areas in the Polish labor market, and there will be more of them, that will require hands to work. If retirees feel up to it and would like to work, this encouragement is very necessary, also for employers who would hire retirees - stated Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference in Warsaw.

- Hence our program "Srebrna praca" (Silver Work). A very simple program, namely, exemption from income tax, PIT tax, for salaries up to PLN 2,500, and similarly, exemption from retirement and disability insurance contributions, also on the employer's side - he continued.

- Poland has ceased to be, and this was important at a certain stage, we don’t question that, but it has ceased to be a simple assembly plant. It is no longer the case that we rejoice over simple investments as if they were truly great, wonderful things. Poland is also not a place that is attractive because of cheap labor. No, it’s starting to be completely different – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the "Poland Invests" event.

- Today, during the government meeting, I will sign this set of recommendations that will favor Polish companies in all possible investment processes. And interestingly, this announcement, for the first time in the history of Poland, we have such a set of actions of a legal nature, but also encompassing economic ethics and political will. We are dealing with such a set of recommendations for the first time, and note that this does not deter foreign investors, quite the contrary - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the "Poland Invests" event.

- I want to very clearly emphasize that this is the greatest success of Polish women and men, and of Poland, that today we are perceived in Europe and the world as a safe place, precisely one worth investing in, a place where long-term thinking, these multi-year perspectives, are not a naive abstraction, but rather serious, cold calculations. - Without Poland, there would be no independent Ukraine today, and Zelensky would not be president; it's unknown where he would even be. Ukrainians welcomed by Poles, hospitably, without asking if they came from Bandera families or not, that was a phenomenon we could truly boast about to the whole world. These same Ukrainians today, I'm not talking about ordinary Ukrainians, but about the authorities of Ukraine, are behaving so brazenly that even the Germans in „Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” are reacting to it. This is simply unprecedented, it is a betrayal of our closest ally, and this betrayal will be remembered by the Ukrainians - stated Przemysław Czarnek on Kanał Zero.

"Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is a man of so many competencies that there will certainly be space for him to realize great ideals and programs that he also wants to push forward. "If Ryszard Petru or anyone else wants to pursue Konfederacja's program, which is a program of 'don't worry, be happy' not only in terms of the budget but in various aspects, then that's probably not the point" - he added.

"Konfederacja doesn't have support because it has a great program, but because it has never governed, no one has ever put them to the test, so I understand the intention is to somewhat mask their program postulates, but some of them are simply unacceptable" - he stated.

"Creating new entities isn't the answer to winning elections" - he emphasized.

- This is not Przemysław Czarnek's proposal, but a repeat of a proposal from one of the parties in our coalition – Miłosz Motyka said on Polsat News, when asked about Przemysław Czarnek's proposal to raise the second tax threshold.

- Such a discussion should first take place with the Minister of Finance, who will indicate the possibilities, but it is a solution that I think is already one of the more anticipated ones today – he continued.

- This is, I think, another aspect that can be discussed, but as I said, after considering the budget situation, finances. We are in favor of [...] gradually being able to raise such an amount – he went on to say.

"There cannot be a situation where someone buys cheap and sells expensively. Therefore, we proposed such a tax [on windfall profits]," Miłosz Motyka said on Polsat News.

"Fuel companies, we will not name any specific ones, as it will depend on the adopted assumption: a 20% increase in revenue compared to the previous reference year, and this will be the sole measurable indicator," he continued, when asked which companies it would cover.

"Yes, with a 60% tax rate. This is also a law that has been consulted [...] it should provide [...] 4 billion in compensation for our budget this and next year," he added, when asked if only the 20% increase would be taxed.

"Crucially, we also hope that the president, as he is at the end of this legislative process, will not side with the big corporations, but will side with the citizens," he concluded.

- Today we will learn tomorrow's new prices, but taking into account the wholesale declines as well, this increase will be literally a few groszy, a maximum of a dozen or so groszy per liter, but in the coming days, due to further declines, we should feel that these prices will continue to be at a lower level than in recent weeks - said Miłosz Motyka in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti," when asked how much gasoline would cost if the excise tax cut had not been abolished.

- It doesn't concern me, I don't know the person, but that doesn't matter. This is a pathology that must be fought, and everything must be done to prevent similar kinds of scandals, and this is a challenge for us - stated Grzegorz Schetyna in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- It's always possible [a joint start for Civic Coalition and PSL in parliamentary elections] and in a way politically natural, because we are in European politics, in the European Parliament, in one format.
