227 MPs voted against the request by the Commander-in-Chief of the Police to grant the Sejm's consent for Member of Parliament Sławomir Mentzen to be held accountable for a misdemeanor, meaning the motion did not secure a majority. The required absolute majority in this vote was 231.

The "Razem" party's parliamentary group, Sławomir Ćwik from the Centre party, and Robert Dowhan from Civic Coalition (KO) were among those who voted against lifting the immunity.

- What was to be expected has happened. Once one association was founded, these associations started to multiply. We will have to resolve this matter somehow; for now, it is not leading to deep dysfunction within the party, but if it starts to do so, we will have to make a very decisive decision - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference in the Sejm.

Dariusz Zawistowski has become the new chairman of the National Council of the Judiciary (KRS). 18 members of the KRS voted for this candidacy, three were against, and two abstained.

Sławomir Patyra, nominated by the ruling coalition, has been elected by the Sejm to the position of a judge of the Constitutional Tribunal. Earlier, MPs rejected the candidacy of Artur Kotowski, who was nominated by PiS. The new judge will replace Andrzej Zielonacki in the tribunal, whose term expires on June 28.

- It [the decision regarding the Order of the White Eagle] will be made at the appropriate time. At the moment, I am also in contact with the Ukrainian side. Everything depends on the Ukrainian side. The ball is in Ukraine's court when it comes to action - stated Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing.

- This is not a new topic. It's not as if the discussion about permanent bases began with Kosiniak-Kamysz's letter last week. Let's be serious. Polish governments have been seeking the presence of American soldiers in Poland for many, many years. The first such significant presence dates back to 2016, thanks to the good diplomacy of Andrzej Duda and the then-United Right government, and it has been successively expanded. It wasn't expanded in the last 2 years, but we hope that thanks to these good relations, not only its numbers will be increased, but above all, its character will change from rotational to permanent - stated Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing.

- It's his [Donald Trump's] 80th birthday [...] planned for many, many months, at the White House, which will be accompanied by a sporting event [...] during this visit, the President will of course discuss with President Donald Trump fundamental matters concerning Polish security, bilateral relations, and also energy and economic cooperation - said Marcin Przydacz at a press conference.

- This invitation is an expression of very good personal relations between the Presidents. [...] As always, when flying to the United States, the President does not forget about Poles, about the Polonia, which is obvious, and during this visit as well [...] the President will also meet with Poles - he continued.

- This is another opportunity to strengthen the Polish-American alliance and another opportunity to resolve specific issues for Poland - he added.

- Nothing - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm, when asked what he expects from President Karol Nawrocki's visit to the USA.

- I haven't heard any direct statements from the President himself that he will question this National Council of the Judiciary - said Waldemar Żurek at a press conference.

- We saw statements before these primaries from Minister Bogucki, who directly threatened court presidents, saying that proceedings would be initiated against them under Article 231 of the Penal Code, that these elections were unlawful. Please read, and here's an appeal to the officials of the Chancellery of the President, the Act on the Organization of Common Courts - he continued.

- In all important matters, judges can gather at assemblies, and this was an extremely important matter because the President and his chancellery did not want to cooperate on the amendment, on the new law, only to veto it. Therefore, we created this solution, which in my opinion was the optimal solution - he went on to say.

- In my opinion, everything we are doing today is in accordance with the Constitution, and it will be very difficult for the President to justify that this council has a flawed structure - he added.

"- For me, the most important thing is that we will start with competitions, judicial positions will be filled by a properly elected National Council of the Judiciary, and I hope that in some perspective we will achieve a reduction in the waiting time for citizens to receive a ruling" - said Waldemar Żurek at a press conference.

"- We will start with 50 positions, we have hundreds in prospect" - he continued.

"- We will make such announcements successively, every few weeks, I hope that the first 50 people will be announced this week" - he added.

- I am very happy, today is a really important day for me. We are rebuilding the pillars of the rule of law in Poland. Institutions that were destroyed were the National Council of the Judiciary, the Constitutional Tribunal, the Supreme Court - said Waldemar Żurek at a press conference.

- Today will be the first inaugural session of the National Council of the Judiciary in a new guise. We prepared a good act on the National Council of the Judiciary, but unfortunately it was vetoed by the president - he continued.

- Poland operates Bayraktar drones, and we want these operational capabilities to grow, we want to enhance, upgrade [...] these capabilities that we have today. They are primarily reconnaissance and intelligence capabilities, but the Bayraktar also has strike and electronic warfare capabilities, and this was one of the subjects of my talks - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference after a meeting with Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, President of the Turkish Presidency's Defence Industry Agency.

- On the other hand, Turkey has significant achievements in long-range, precision strikes and the development of these capabilities. Technology transfer, information exchange, and cooperation were a very important point of our discussions, so two matters: drones, which are not only observational and have long-range precision capability, where Turkey can be a partner for the Polish defense industry in developing these skills and capabilities - he continued.

"In my opinion, it's 50-50" - said Piotr Zgorzelski on RMF FM, when asked if the president would sign the bill on the status of a next of kin.

"Our PSL Vice-President, Ula Pasławska, who sits on the council advising the president, has this task [...] to convince the advisors. I know she likely has a meeting with the president next week, so she will also try to persuade him, to show him that it is not, as they are whispering in his ear, a bill that replaces marriage" - he continued.

- We are building a political project for the parliamentary elections, a project under the banner of the Polish People's Party - said Piotr Zgorzelski on RMF FM.

- There is no such idea - he continued, when asked if the PSL would group with the Civic Coalition (referring to a joint start in the parliamentary elections).

- There isn't and there won't be - he stressed.

- First and foremost, he should apologize for his statement - said Piotr Zgorzelski on RMF FM, when asked if Deputy Minister Szeptycki should be dismissed.

- This is a statement that, unfortunately, does not meet the criteria of historical truth. Because if he hadn't compared [to the Cursed Soldiers], and had simply stopped there, we would have both probably [...] acknowledged that he, as a person who perhaps has a different sensitivity, should have known the factual truth that the UPA, a criminal organization for us, also fought against Germany and the Soviets - he continued.

"It appears that President Nawrocki is a man who, to some extent, also introduces prudence into his presidency, and that's good," said Piotr Zgorzelski in RMF FM, when asked about the Presidential Palace's silence regarding the revocation of the order awarded to Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Of course, the reaction, in my opinion, was adequate," he continued.

- Rock bottom. Rock bottom. The brown scum under Kowalski's and Czarnek's banner is starting racial segregation in Poland. Rock bottom and we must categorically oppose it - said Piotr Zgorzelski on RMF FM.

- It cannot be that in a country famous for its tolerance [...] today we hear a parliamentarian in the Polish Sejm looking for who had what parents, grandparents - he continued.

- Soon Kowalski will bring a briefcase with instruments, perhaps he will be measuring noses, ears, because it is simply the beginning of racial segregation. There is no consent for this, I am outraged because these gentlemen have simply crossed over to the other side of the brown scum - he went on to say.

- It is easiest to burn a project, and harder to deliver it. I can say that we would like this project to be concluded by the holidays - said Piotr Zgorzelski in the 'Morning Interview' on RMF FM.

- Things are happening better and better in this matter, I think, and it is worthwhile that the voice of the Polish People's Party saying that Mateusz Szpytma is a good historian [...] he is a man who truly [...] guarantees peace - he continued.

- It is not agreed upon [with Civic Coalition], nor is it an element of a trade [...] we are on the right path to bring this project to a successful conclusion - he went on to say.

- There are no talks that would link the election of the IPN president with the election of the Ombudsman - he stressed.

- All of this must be explained [the case of Leszek Kraskowski]. There are no detentions without grounds, we operate in a state of law and we operate on the basis and within the limits of the law, and all law enforcement agencies must act in this way - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

- She certainly has [Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka] all the predispositions to hold the most important state positions, and the last weeks and months best demonstrate the gigantic effectiveness of her actions – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in “Graffiti” Polsat News.

- If this presidential umbrella is created over, for example, one list… This is all based on the assumption that Confederation is whole and undivided, but given the courtship dance I see around Mr. Marshal Bosak, and his wife, who is also a Member of Parliament and part of Confederation from the side of the President's Chancellery, I would no longer be so sure whether from Republika, which is clearly forming a political force that is an alternative to Braun, through PiS, Morawiecki's activity, reaching to Bosak, there won't be a grand list on the right side with the president's patronage and not under the PiS list name next year, we shall see - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- We are, of course, in a more advanced process than just a political declaration. This process also didn't start with that political declaration. These talks have been ongoing for many weeks, months. After all, the analysis of the presence of American troops in Europe was one of the first tasks set after the change of administration - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Graffiti" Polsat News.

- This visit [of President Nawrocki to the USA] will definitely not harm Poland. Tomorrow we meet at the F35 reception. This is undoubtedly the most important issue, today's planning of the deployment of American troops in Europe, including Poland, the location of these troops, and the change in the nature of their presence in Poland - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

At 9:30 AM, at the Ministry of National Defence headquarters, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz will meet with Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, President of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey's Defence Industry.

At 1:30 PM, a press conference will be held at the Ministry of Health featuring Deputy Minister Katarzyna Kacperczyk. The topic will be the draft of the new list of reimbursed medicines.

At 2:00 PM, a ceremony for the handover of duties as the Commander of the Armed Forces Operational Command will take place at the Armed Forces Operational Command headquarters. The Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz is scheduled to give a speech.

Also at 2:00 PM, but in Skierniewice, a press conference will begin with the participation of the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz and the Deputy Minister of Labour, Family and Social Policy Katarzyna Nowakowska. The topic will be investments from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO) in healthcare in the Łódzkie Voivodeship.

In the Sejm, at 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM, and 2:00 PM, press conferences by PiS MPs are scheduled, and at 11:00 AM, a conference by Paweł Śliz, an MP from Poland 2050, is planned.

Thursday marks the final day of the Sejm's session. Voting will commence at 12:00 PM, including on candidates for the Constitutional Tribunal.

The first session of the new National Council of the Judiciary is also scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM.

Thursday is also the second and final day of the Senate's session.
