in a new video:

Poland’s border will be safe as long as our government defends it." PiS continues the theme of "Tusk’s Line of Betrayal
- Tusk’s line of betrayal, meaning the plan to defend Poland on the Vistula River, leads to the occupation of the East and shelling of the West. We will not allow this - says the narrator in a new video posted on PiS's social media.

The clip features a statement by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki from a rally in Kraśnik on Monday. - We have ordered several hundred HIMARS. This is immense firepower. We are positioning this firepower along the Polish border. And Poland’s border will be safe as long as our government and the Polish Army defend this border - said the head of government.

- Tusk is dangerous. Only PiS can stop him - the narrator concluded.

Czarnek on Glorifying Hunka: If Banderites Fed Zelensky and Trudeau This Kind of Story – It's a Scandal and Shows Their Audacity

- I spoke with President Nawrocki, the President of the Institute of National Remembrance. Indeed, I wrote to him asking to investigate if there are any traces in the documents concerning this Yaroslav Hunka. Apparently, there is some information, so I am eagerly awaiting it, because if it exists, I will certainly demand and propose to the appropriate Polish authorities, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, an extradition request – stated Przemysław Czarnek on PR24.

- This is not about Mr. Hunka, this is about President Zelensky having compromised himself, and I have the right to claim, as a former voivode of Lublin, who also knows Ukrainian Banderites. Their audacity knows no bounds, if they fed President Zelensky, Prime Minister Trudeau this kind of story, to glorify a Nazi criminal from SS Galizien in the Canadian parliament, who participated, at least the formation participated – at this moment, we can say, because it is certain, the formation participated in the genocide of the Polish nation, including Polish citizens of Jewish nationality. This is a scandal and shows the audacity of Banderites, whether here in Ukraine or there in Canada, knows no limits. This audacity must be stopped, this is about historical truth. There is no place in today's world and in our civilization sphere for glorifying genocidal criminals – he added.

08:16

Czarnek:

This attempt to paint a bleak picture of Polish schools is the work of Broniarz, who has nothing else to do

- I said, there is no catastrophe, let's debunk these myths again. In the last 20 years, there were 1.5 million fewer children in Polish schools, and the number of teachers increased. How can there be a catastrophe in schools where there are 1.5 million fewer children and fewer teachers? This in itself shows that this attempt to paint such a bleak picture of Polish schools is the work of Broniarz, who has nothing else to do but engage in leftist politics and this ZNP [National Teachers' Union], which puts blinkers on some teachers. However, the truth is that there is no shortage of teachers in Polish schools - stated Przemysław Czarnek on PR24.

08:17

Czarnek:

If Someone Claims We Are Not Raising Teacher Salaries, They're the Same Kind of Person Who Talks About Pseudo Visa Scandals
Next year, there will be an additional 12 billion 178 million. The budget, which we adopted as a draft in the Council of Ministers in recent days, assumes an increase in the education subsidy by a record 12 billion 178 million zlotys. Never before has the subsidy increased by such a gigantic amount. I assure you that all these fairy tales from Broniarz and those with blinkers from ZNP are made only to blacken this picture. There is no shortage of teachers in Polish schools, and there will not be, moreover, there will be too many in the coming years due to the unfortunate fact that there will be fewer children in Polish schools, and therefore we have reinstated teacher pensions for those employed before '99, so they can retire when there is a shortage of hours, and this will be the case from September 1, 2024 - stated Przemysław Czarnek in PR24. We will have salary increases of at least 12.3% for the highest-earning teachers and about 20% for the lowest-earning, which will mean that those entering the profession will earn 100% more. If someone, given these figures, claims that we are not raising teacher salaries, they are the same kind of person who might talk about pseudo visa scandals, who says that Poland is poor and everything is collapsing; this anatomy of Civic Platform, ZNP, and the Left can be dissected - he added.

08:49

Sasin:

There Are No Rational Grounds to Claim Poland is Experiencing an Uncontrolled Influx of Refugees into Germany

- There are no rational grounds to claim that today there is an uncontrolled influx of refugees from Poland into Germany. Unlike from other directions. And this confirms what I want to say. In this context, in which this decision is being made. That is, this decision, there's no hiding it, simply fits into the opposition's narrative in Poland – stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Dariusz Ociepa on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

08:50

Sasin:

Germany Supports the Opposition in Poland, Primarily PO and Tusk. Their Interest Lies in PiS Not Governing

- This is further proof that the German government, Germany, is currently supporting the opposition in Poland, primarily PO and Donald Tusk. Germany's interest, regardless of the political party, is that PiS does not govern in Poland. This is in Germany's interest because Germany wants to build Europe in its own image, a European state under its own protectorate, managed from Berlin, and PiS stands in the way of this grand project, which is a German project, regardless of who is in power there – stated Jacek Sasin on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

08:59

Müller:

According to Our Internal Polls, We Have a Chance for an Independent Majority

- According to our internal research, about which I can speak in general terms, we have a chance for an independent majority. That's why these next 2.5 weeks are crucial for us to present an alternative, which is - stated Piotr Müller in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on the "Guest of Radio Zet" program.

09:03

Müller on Border Checks with the Czech Republic: First Steps Should Be Taken Today. The Order Was Issued Yesterday

- First steps in this regard should be taken today, because the order was issued yesterday. Deputy Prime Minister Kaczyński, as the person coordinating security matters in the government. There was a discussion about this yesterday, we talked about it at the government meeting on Tuesday, and decisions were made yesterday - stated Piotr Müller on the program "Gość Radia Zet".

09:08

Gliński to Tusk: We Invite You to the Opening of a Museum You Didn't Want Built
- I will publicly invite Mr. Donald Tusk now, we invite you to the opening of the [Polish History] museum, which you did not want to build - said Piotr Gliński in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on Trójka's "Political Salon".

09:08

Müller on Border Checks with Germany: 'No Such Decisions at This Moment'

- This is not a matter of revenge, but of potential risks that may arise in the future. At this moment, there are no such decisions; they are in place on the Polish-Czech and Polish-Slovak borders. If we were to see, for example, movement from Lampedusa, an activated Italian channel, concerning illegal immigrants arriving here, or attempts at forced relocation, then we might introduce them – stated Piotr Müller on the program "Gość Radia Zet".

- Poland is not currently a target for migrants, and I hope it remains that way. In the future, we are talking about a forced relocation mechanism, a concept served up by Berlin – he added.

09:09

Sasin:

There Will Be No Fuel Shortage

- There will be no [gasoline] shortage, and I want to say one thing. Orlen's actions have nothing to do with any extraordinary election campaign. These are market actions, they are a consequence of decisions and actions taken over the last 8 years, which caused the concern, from one of many companies, small companies in our part of Europe, to become a serious player, a fuel concern truly of not only Polish dimension - stated Jacek Sasin on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

09:11

Müller on the March of a Million Hearts: "If a Million People Come to Warsaw, We'll Talk About How It Looks on Sunday"

- Whether a million people come to Warsaw, we will talk about how it looks on Sunday. Warsaw is a very large city, more people live here than a million. The mobilization of people in Warsaw alone would already have an effect – stated Piotr Müller on the program "Gość Radia Zet".

09:17

Gliński on German Politicians: They Aren't Even Ready for a Joint Appeal to the Public to Search German Homes and Cellars for Stolen Goods
- I met with the German Minister of Culture, and I am in intensive correspondence with both the Minister of Culture, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Minister of Justice of Germany on various matters. So they are not even ready for what I proposed to them in 2018, to announce a joint Polish-German appeal to the German public, a ministerial appeal, for Germans to search their living rooms, their cellars, and return what they have stolen, what is there. Unfortunately, they are not even ready for that, you see. So this is very symptomatic. What's more, they are not changing their law, and the law in Germany is such that after 30 years, the possessor of a stolen item or a war loss becomes the owner - said Piotr Gliński in an interview with Trójka.

09:23

Sasin:

Elections in Poland aren't won by marches, but by consistent work and talking with voters
Of course, I won't reveal the scenario for this convention. We both understand that, but mobilization is indeed needed, which is extremely important. We are not particularly concerned about this march. Elections in Poland are not won by marches, but by work, by consistent conversation with voters, that's what we are focusing on - stated Jacek Sasin in Polsat News's "Graffiti" program.

09:44

Błaszczak:

I am Attacked Today for Revealing the True Face of the PO-PSL Government. They Wanted to Give Land East of the Vistula to Russia.
- Decision-makers from PO wanted to give Russia the territories that are behind me. They did not want to defend Poland on the Bug river line, but believed that Poland should be defended on the Vistula river line. In this way, Donald Tusk deceived the residents of the eastern part of our country. He also deceived the residents of the western part of our country, because he gave them a false sense of security. False, because defending only half of our country endangered Poland's existence. One can say directly that these plans were compromising for Donald Tusk and his government. That is why I am attacked today for revealing the true face of the PO-PSL coalition government, Donald Tusk's government – stated Mariusz Błaszczak in Warsaw. - It is the duty of any honest government to warn against those who have bad intentions, because how else can one assess those who wanted to defend only half of our country – he added.

09:45

Błaszczak:

We Will Not Cede a Single Inch of the Republic of Poland's Territory

- The Law and Justice party (PiS) rejects such plans. Any honest government, any responsible government cares about all Poles. Not just those living in a specific area, but all Poles. That is why the defense plans adopted by the PiS government regarding the defense of our country are on Poland's border. We will not cede a single inch of the Republic of Poland's territory. But of course, our goal is to build a strong Polish army so as to deter the aggressor, so that the aggressor does not decide to invade our country – said Mariusz Błaszczak in Warsaw.

09:45

Błaszczak:

We Are Negotiating Details of Contract for 96 Apache Helicopters for Polish Army

- We are negotiating the details of the contract for the acquisition of 96 such helicopters [Apache] for the Polish army, 96, no less. The opposition accuses me of buying too much military equipment. No. Ladies and gentlemen, this much equipment is needed to realistically deter an aggressor – said Mariusz Błaszczak in Warsaw.

10:51

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

We Represent People of Hard Work, We Are a Coalition for Work

- We represent all those who have taken matters into their own hands, small businesses, medium and small enterprises, family firms, artisans. All those who work from dawn till dusk, often holding down two jobs. Yes, we represent people of hard work, we are a coalition for work, for entrepreneurs, a coalition that aims to finally appreciate work. Work in Poland must pay off. Work in Poland must be profitable, must command respect and provide a decent living. This is what we are bringing to these elections, we want to end the Polish-Polish war - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

11:04

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

We Have a Prescription, Developed Within the Third Way Coalition – If You Can't See a Specialist Within 60 Days, You Go Private, and the NFZ Will Cover Treatment Costs

- There is one flagship idea that we will implement with extreme diligence, and that is the fight against queues. We are the only party, the only coalition, with a concrete idea on how to do it, because simply saying 'the queues are too long' isn't enough. Diagnosis is only part of the treatment process. It begins with a diagnosis, and we have established it. Queues have lengthened; to see a child psychiatrist in Będzin, one has to wait until 2030. We need a solution today, a prescription to heal this. We have that prescription, and we developed it within the Third Way coalition. This prescription is based on one very important principle: if, within 60 days, you cannot get an appointment with a specialist within public healthcare, at public healthcare facilities. If, within 60 days, you cannot get to see a specialist, you go private, and the National Health Fund (NFZ) will cover the costs of this treatment. It is very important that this project comes into effect immediately after we take power. We will be its advocate and guarantor of its implementation – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

13:05

Scheuring-Wielgus:

As the Left, We Say Clearly. A Doctor Working in a Hospital Should Discard Their Worldview

- We are standing here because this is one of the hospitals which, as revealed by a journalistic investigation, also possesses relics. The fact that a hospital possesses relics came to light after the unfortunate situation in Nowy Targ, where Ms. Dorota died. Possessing relics, or naming a hospital after this or that saint, leads to hospitals refusing to perform the medical procedure of abortion – said Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus in Płock.

- Dear sirs and madams, regarding hospitals that have relics in Poland, we never really considered this before. It turns out that there are very, very many such hospitals in Poland, and they are in every voivodeship. In Lower Silesia, we have 3 such hospitals, in Kuyavian-Pomeranian 2, in Lublin Voivodeship 5 hospitals, in Lubusz 1, in Łódź 3 hospitals, in Lesser Poland 7, in Mazovia, besides this hospital, there are 10 others that possess relics or are named after John Paul II (...). Ladies and gentlemen, it is unbelievable that in the 21st century, people who come to a hospital, especially women, may not receive the proper help when their pregnancy is at risk. Or when they need help with women's health issues. We in the Left clearly state: a doctor who treats patients in a hospital should discard their personal worldview – she continued.

13:07

Biejat:

We Are Going into These Elections with Slogans Supporting Women's Reproductive Health
Today is the day, the world day of safe abortion, and that is what Lewica is fighting for. It's fighting for religion to be removed not only from schools but also from hospitals, so that every woman who goes to the hospital knows she will meet a doctor there who will not care about their conscience. They won't care if there are relics in that hospital, but will care about her life and health – stated Magdalena Biejat in Płock. We are going into these elections with slogans supporting women's reproductive health. We want every woman to have the chance to see a gynecologist under the National Health Fund (NFZ). We want every woman to have the right to accessible, free, reimbursed contraception. We want to eliminate prescriptions for the morning-after pill – she added.

13:11

Duda at the Opening of the Museum of Polish History: Lech Kaczyński Should Be Standing Here Before You. It Was His Dream

- This is an event that genuinely touches my heart; I feel it very deeply today since I entered this monumental building. President Professor Lech Kaczyński should be standing here before you; it was his dream, his idea for a Museum of Polish History like this to be established. He considered it one of the most important tasks for those responsible for the Republic to accomplish for future generations. "As the youth is raised, so will the Republic be"; history is the teacher of life. Indeed, by referencing history, he often illustrated life and pointed out potential future developments, what might happen - stated President Andrzej Duda during the opening of the Museum of Polish History.

13:16

Duda at the MHP Opening: I Can Already Imagine the Crowds, Pilgrimaging Groups from All Over Poland

- The museum is the largest, the most beautiful, certainly at this moment in Poland, absolutely the most modern (...) Here, in 3 years, we plan to have a permanent exhibition of 7,300 m2, documented with artifacts, the history of over 1,000 years of our state, the history of Poland (...). It is here that young people will come to see this permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions. Already today, you can see the first of them, “Great and Small Histories,” showing the process of collecting artifacts and monuments that will form the full exhibition of this museum in the future – stated President Andrzej Duda during the opening of the Museum of Polish History.

- I can already imagine the crowds, groups pilgrimaging here from all over Poland, from our schools, young people. This great, wonderful educational process that will take place here in this building, a building that will attract with its beauty, monumentality, and the extraordinary modernity of its presentation – he added.

13:18

Morawiecki:

Those Who Fear Polish History May Have Acted to Prevent This Museum's Creation
- It is truly exceptionally symbolic that here, in this place [...], a place of martyrdom for the Polish nation, a place where Polish patriots were murdered, primarily by the Russian occupier, but not only, the Museum of Polish History stands in this very spot. [...] What is being created here is not just a building, but a kind of symbol that is also meant to guide us towards the future. History is not only the teacher of life, but a truthfully told history, and in particular, the history of Poland, is not only a reason for pride, but above all, a weapon in the fight for a strong Poland, for a better future for the Republic - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the opening of the Museum of Polish History. - We must ask ourselves why [...] this museum took 17 years to establish. Why did it take so long, one could say longer than free Poland has existed, [...] for this place, so important to all Poles, to be created. For many years, it was said that there were no funds, no will to build it, but I think, unfortunately, we must say that something else was missing. Above all, there was a lack of faith that such a place was needed to build Polish identity, to build and strengthen Polish pride. Perhaps it was precisely those who fear Polish history, those who based their actions on different assumptions, who did everything to ensure that this museum would not truly come into being. So that propaganda, so evident in the Third Polish Republic, would reign supreme, or rather, propaganda that did not differ significantly from that used by Frederick, Catherine, Bismarck, or Stalin. Diminishing Poland's role, humiliating Poland, having Poland bear the sins of others, fostering national self-abasement, and what we collectively term the pedagogy of shame - he continued. - The construction of this magnificent building simultaneously demonstrates that we are on the path to victory, to rebuilding the proper role of the Republic on the map of Europe, on the map of the world. For this to happen, we need very strong institutions - he added.

13:52

A New Civic Platform Spot:

You've Led Poland to Ruin.

Platforma Obywatelska (Civic Platform) has unveiled a new spot.

- Inflation that's devastating Poles' wallets, a lack of EU funds for Poland's development, ever-growing queues for doctors, Polish visas being sold at stalls in Asia and Africa, thousands of tons of garbage in illegal landfills, mass deforestation and the sale of timber to China, the ecological catastrophe on the Oder River - lists the narrator in the recording published on social media.

- You've led Poland to ruin. You don't know how to govern. You are bunglers - it concludes.

Orlen Ranks 6th Among Largest Fuel Station Operators in Germany
– Under the ORLEN brand, all our stations in Lithuania, Hungary, Slovakia, and almost all in the Czech Republic are now operating. We are consistently carrying out rebranding in foreign markets so that ORLEN is associated with a wide range of top-quality services. This allows us to unify our marketing and operational activities, which will translate into generating specific synergies in the long term. Our ambition is for around 100 stations in Germany to be operating under the ORLEN brand by the beginning of 2024 – says Daniel Obajtek, President of ORLEN.

ORLEN Deutschland, a company belonging to the ORLEN Group, currently operates 606 fuel stations under the ORLEN and Star brands. This places the concern in 6th position among the largest fuel station operators in Germany. The latest acquisition, finalized in June this year, was the takeover of 17 self-service refueling points from OMV in the federal states of Bavaria (13 locations), Baden-Württemberg (3), and Hesse (1).

Germany is one of the markets where the ORLEN Group plans intensive development of stations and charging points. By 2030, the infrastructure for electric car users, mainly in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Germany, is to include 10,000 chargers. In the next two years alone, the number of charging stations in Germany is planned to increase to over 430.

In line with the adopted assumptions, all ORLEN stations will operate under a common logo by the end of the decade. The rebranding process is carried out in accordance with market conditions in each country where the Group's stations are located. All stations in Slovakia, Lithuania, and Hungary operate under the ORLEN logo. In the case of the Czech market, by the end of the year, nearly 90% of stations previously operating under the Benzina brand will begin functioning under the ORLEN brand.

The ORLEN 2030 strategy also assumes the development of the network to at least 3,500 stations. The share of foreign facilities in the entire network is to increase to 45%. At the end of the second quarter of 2023, the number of ORLEN fuel stations was 3,157, with 1,238 in foreign markets. After the finalization of the transaction and the acquisition of the Austrian Turmöl network, the number of stations in the ORLEN network will increase by 266, and the concern will conduct retail fuel sales in seven European markets.

The Third Way is What the Democratic Opposition Lacked to Win the Last Two Elections
- The Third Way is what the democratic opposition lacked to win the last two elections. We are going to the people to whom the democratic opposition did not reach four or eight years ago. We are going to those districts, those municipalities, where for so long only PiS posters and banners were visible. Without the Third Way, there will be no victory for the democratic opposition - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference. - Today we are in Bielsk Podlaski, and also in the district, showing people what the politics of quarrels leads to. We want to draw attention to what this politics of constant civil war, constant quarreling, which the United Right government has been imposing on us for eight years, has led to - he continued. - The next government cannot be solely and exclusively a government of national revenge. A government for chasing PiS out of power, because PiS must be chased out of power, but we, the Third Way, are and will be the guarantor in this government that it will be a government of hope. National hope, we can even say it that way - he went on to say.

Tusk on the Vistula Spit Canal: At one point I feared Kaczyński himself would be digging with a shovel
- How much propaganda they created around the canal [Vistula Spit Canal], you remember, it was like World War Three, a victorious war with Russia. Well, they told everything possible when they opened it, I don't know if you remember that propaganda circus. I was afraid that at one point Kaczyński himself would be digging with a shovel – said Donald Tusk in Elbląg. - They, I don't know, out of spite, as punishment, I actually have no idea why, decided to stop it at this turning point, to show you a fig [a Polish idiom for showing someone the middle finger] and then from time to time on television we see a beautiful canal, a beautiful cut, completely empty. People in Poland are scratching their heads, why did they do this if you can't reach Elbląg. Where is the sense, how can you throw money, dreams, projects, what has been invested, human thought, into the mud like this – he added.

17:42

Tusk:

A Signal Reached Me from Warsaw That Wawrzyk Has Disappeared Entirely and Cannot Be Found. You'll See, by October 15th, No One Will Have Access to Him
- We are all under the impression of this so-called visa affair. A signal reached me from Warsaw that Minister Wawrzyk has already disappeared entirely and cannot be found anywhere. And this is not a joke. We feared this. There are too many people in the ruling camp today; some are sending out timid signals, but most of them are very afraid, and we will have to wait until October 15th for the whole truth, including about this visa affair, to see the light of day - said Donald Tusk in Elbląg. - Even by one-tenth, when I first spoke publicly about this uncontrolled wave of migrants organized by PiS, I didn't even dream that a few months later, the deputy minister responsible for it would first disappear, then attempt suicide, then be locked up in a hospital and guarded by services [...] and then disappear entirely, and we won't have access to him. You'll see, by October 15th, no one will have access to him; they are guarding him so closely to prevent him from telling the truth - he continued.

17:56

Tusk:

Kaczyński Financed German Economic Growth. Now That's a Collaborator
- From this very KPO, this fund that Poland contributed to. Do you know what the paradox is? These European funds are also our money, we contribute like every EU member. And do you know who is spending this money right now? Germans, Belgians, French, Italians, they are spending our money. Kaczyński financed the development of the German economy. Now that's a collaborator - said Donald Tusk in Elbląg. - They take, they squeeze money from our, Polish pockets, from our taxes, pay it into the common EU budget, Germany spends it on themselves, and Kaczyński blocks it, and we don't get a single zloty from it. And we will still be paying off the EU debt for years because we are part of it, unless Kaczyński leads us out of the EU - he continued.

18:09

Tusk:

I Genuinely Have a White and Red Heart, Whatever Kaczyński, Szefernaker, and Müller Come Up With
- I believe that these elections are about very serious matters; it's not just about someone putting up the biggest poster. We will stick on our little white and red heart. I truly believe in the power of this symbol, I truly believe in its meaning, because I genuinely have a white and red heart. Whatever Kaczyński, Szefernaker, Müller, and the whole lot of them come up with... But these elections are truly about our lives and the lives of our children and grandchildren – stated Donald Tusk in Elbląg.

18:14

Tusk Reveals Results of Internal Poll:

Less Than Two Percent Difference.
- I want you to know the truth. This is my last big meeting before Sunday's march. We keep reading all sorts of information, true and untrue, often released intentionally by campaign teams: they have a 10% lead, and this much here, and they won't get in... But they will never tell you which polling firm it is, they just release these… - said Donald Tusk in Elbląg. - I will say something, although my colleagues said: you know, we weren't supposed to publish this data. […] Before coming to Elbląg, I asked for the data from the last few days. We are examining this on a very large sample. These are studies that we do not publish, so they are true. I would not finance research as a political party only to be lied to by someone. […] They show very clearly what a great challenge lies before us, that the opportunity is within reach, but nothing is decided. In these studies - and this is an average from a group of 1500 people, a 3-day, extremely professional and truly reliable study - they have 34.9%. We have 32.8%. That's less than a two percent difference - he continued. - Lewica has 9.7, Trzecia Droga has 9.5, Konfederacja has 9.3. Let's say each of them has roughly 10% - Tusk added.

They won't intimidate us, they won't silence us. It's crucial for all of Poland to see that nobody fears them anymore
- They won't intimidate us, they won't silence us. It's crucial for all of Poland to see that nobody fears them anymore. That it won't be the case anymore that critical words about Kaczyński or PiS are whispered, only spoken privately, but better not too loudly, because they might do something to us. They will do something to us if we are silent, if we are isolated, if each of us is alone - Donald Tusk said in Elbląg.

Tusk:

In one minute on 'Wiadomości,' you'll hear more brutal attacks on me than Solidarity heard in a month on the then-government television
- I don't know if you remember, but the greatest insult was when Urban said on television: Lech Wałęsa is a private individual. That was the ultimate insult. Or that Adam Michnik has contacts with certain circles in the West. Those were the harshest insults - said Donald Tusk in Elbląg. - Listen, turn on… Well, don't turn it on, but like… Today's "Wiadomości." In one minute, you'll hear more brutal attacks on me than Solidarity heard in a month on the government television of that time - he continued.

Centrists and the Indifferent Often Say 'I Won't Get Involved, Truth Lies in the Middle.' No, Truth Lies Where It Lies.
- There's a lot of talk about so-called centrists. That is, mainly journalists, commentators, who split hairs, saying: 'these ones are bad, but those ones were also bad, everything is more or less the same, there's no real choice.' Well, because it's convenient for them to say that in fact, truth isn't what's important, but as centrists and also indifferent people often say: 'you know what, I won't get involved, I won't take sides, because the truth lies in the middle.' I will always remember the words of Professor Turski, just as we all remembered the words of Professor Bartoszewski, that truth doesn't lie in the middle, 'truth lies where it lies.' In various places, but not in the middle, truth is not an average of different opinions – Donald Tusk said in Elbląg.

Tusk:

Everyone has the right to their own choice, but none of us has the right to close our eyes and pretend that evil is not happening in Poland
- Everyone has the right to their own choice, but none of us has the right to close our eyes and pretend that evil is not happening in Poland. This means no one can pretend not to know what PiS has been doing in recent years and months, because everyone knows. And in a sense, someone maliciously said that voting for PiS is complicity, it is complicity in what they are doing – stated Donald Tusk in Elbląg.

Tusk Asked About Widows' Pensions: 'We Will Cooperate with The Left Here Too'
- A widow is often left in a more difficult situation. This marriage of pensioners has constant expenses: rent, electricity, gas, I don't need to tell you. Very often these two pensions were enough to maintain the household, to survive, to buy a gift for grandchildren, not some Himalayas of earnings. One of them dies, most often the husband, and let's assume, in the best-case scenario, there isn't half of that money. What is the widow supposed to do? Abandon her apartment, not eat for half a month? - said Donald Tusk in Elbląg. - This is not some left-wing program. You mentioned 30%, I've mentioned this out loud several times already, that 30% is achievable. The Left proposed 50%. I have no problem with that. I know that we cannot suddenly leave people in such a drama, especially in the twilight of their lives [...]. These are not some gigantic costs, [...] it is something the Polish state will be able to bear. So we will cooperate with the Left here too - he declared.

Polish and German Services to Intensify Cooperation in Combating Illegal Migration
Today, I had a phone conversation with the German Federal Minister of the Interior, Nancy Faeser. The discussion concerned the situation on the Polish-German border and the increasing migratory pressure on the Balkan route - informed the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA) in a statement. "I emphasize that media reports about the alleged reintroduction of permanent controls on the internal Schengen border between Poland and Germany are false. The German side has only decided to increase the intensity of service activities on their side of the border with Poland. This does not constitute the reintroduction of controls in accordance with the current Schengen rules. Simultaneously, observing the growing migratory pressure on the Balkan route, including through Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland towards Germany, our government has decided to introduce intensified actions by services, such as the Border Guard, the Police, and the Road Transport Inspection, on the borders with Slovakia and the Czech Republic. This means ad-hoc checks of buses and other vehicles that may be transporting illegal migrants from this direction. As a result of these actions, since yesterday alone, approximately 150 illegal migrants from the Middle East (including from Syria) and Africa, attempting to cross into Germany, have been apprehended. It was also revealed that individuals involved in migrant smuggling possessed German short- and long-term residence permits (visas or residency rights). I conveyed information about this procedure today to the German Federal Minister of the Interior, Nancy Faeser. We agreed that Polish and German services will undertake closer cooperation in combating illegal migration. To this end, a special task force will be established, consisting of officers from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Germany.

Kaczyński and PiS Claim Poland is Safe – That Slogan Crosses the Line of Falsehood and Lies

- This is a fairy tale, a scandal, it's truly poor state governance. What's worst, in my opinion, is that it's a planned state action. You see, when we passed the COVID-related laws in good faith, provisions were introduced that enabled such things. Nobody will tell me that nobody thought about this two years ago. Honestly, I look with horror at the wall between Poland and Belarus. When I think that people who didn't get over the wall could buy a visa a kilometer away for 1,500 euros, without any checks (...) At the same time, Mr. Kaczyński and PiS say that Poland is safe, that it's secure here – that's their slogan. I think the line of falsehood and lies has been crossed by 150% - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty on TVN24's program "Kropka nad i".

Czarzasty:

Can Everything Be Done During an Election Campaign to Win? I Believe Not

- The question is - can everything be done during an election campaign to win? I believe not, and PiS believes so. They will spoil relations with the European Union, with Ukraine, they will talk nonsense and declassify secret military materials, all just to win a third term - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty on TVN24's program “Kropka nad i”.

Hołownia on KO's Internal Poll: Good News, Because It Means a Democratic Government in Poland

- First and foremost, this is good news because it means there will be a democratic government in Poland. These results also show what we have been saying for a long time: that not only the Civic Coalition's result matters here. The guarantee of a democratic government in Poland is the result of the Third Way, the result of the Left. We hope that the Civic Coalition is keeping their fingers crossed for us, and we are also keeping ours crossed for them. It is also clear now that the Third Way is what the democratic opposition lacked to achieve victory in 2015. We simply bring people to the polls, we encourage those people to whom the democratic opposition did not reach in 2015 – stated Szymon Hołownia in an interview with Anita Werner on the TVN24 program “Fakty po faktach” (Facts after Facts).

20:34

Hołownia:

We Have Internal Polls. The Numbers Are Different

- Yes, we have [internal polls]. The numbers are different, for example, in our internal poll, the support levels for PiS and Platforma are different from that poll, but indeed the difference between them is small, around 2-3%. Our result in this poll is 11.2%, Konfederacja has 10.6%, and Lewica has 9.8%, but this is also a good poll for the prospect of forming a democratic government - stated Szymon Hołownia on TVN24.

- Today, the most important thing is to convince those who are undecided. Our internal study also showed this: among PiS voters, there are 20% of people, exactly 19%, who are considering voting for Trzecia Droga as their second option. We have an overrepresentation among the undecided. These are all very good prognostics for the final 2 weeks of the campaign, when the campaign for 70% of Poles truly begins - he added.

Hołownia on Visas: PiS's Narrative Will Be That the EU is Satan, and Retired Merkel Pulls All the Strings

- Because elections are approaching, and they think they can wait it out, charm, sing, or shout their way through. It's clear that PiS's narrative will be that the European Union is Satan, that retired Angela Merkel pulls all the strings, and it's not just Tusk's fault, but generally all of us who are traitors to the Polish nation. They will tell these absurdities right up until the elections. People are not as stupid as PiS propagandists think. They see that something is happening, that Germany is closing its borders, Poland is closing its borders with Slovakia, and our privileges related to the Schengen Area are running out. Minister Czaputowicz comes out and speaks with striking honesty about the numbers, about thousands of migrants who are crossing their supposedly well-protected Polish-Belarusian border, who have been going unhindered for months along the Balkan route through Slovakia. People are starting to strongly disagree with this - stated Szymon Hołownia on TVN24.

20:36

Hołownia:

The Kaczyński Era is Ending

- The Kaczyński era is ending. There is no chance that Kaczyński will secure 235 seats in these elections. There is no chance for that, and he had that many in '19 and '15, which means his era is truly coming to an end before our eyes - stated Szymon Hołownia on TVN24.

Hołownia on Fuel Price Cuts: 'They Think People Are So Unintelligent They'll Fall for Such Tricks Again'
We've been saying this for a long time, predicting this miracle at the pump, this miracle of Saint Daniel, which we are now witnessing at Orlen gas stations. They are either selling off strategic reserves, we can suspect, or they manipulated prices earlier, overinflating them, and are now lowering them. They will of course make up for it after the elections (...) What is happening at Orlen stations today is not normal. They think people are so unintelligent that they will fall for such tricks and don't realize that if it's unnaturally cheap today, it will be unnaturally expensive soon – stated Szymon Hołownia on TVN24. However, the problem is starting to spiral out of their control since voices emerged about limiting fuel sales at stations. A kind of subtle panic has begun among drivers. It turns out fuel might run out, which could mean they'll overdo it with this manual control. But this is precisely how it ends when we create an almost multi-energy combine from one person, one company, like in the PRL era, like in communist times, which is at the beck and call of the party and the government – he added.
