This will be, in a way, a sign that we have a new Poland.

Czarnek:
Nawrocki Appoints Cenckiewicz, His Defense Minister Counterpart, for US Government Contacts
– Indeed, it was difficult to expect that President Karol Nawrocki would appoint a representative of the Polish government for further contacts with the American government, a representative who treats the United States in the same manner as they treat Karol Nawrocki. Therefore, he appointed the equivalent of the Minister of National Defense in the President's Chancellery – Minister Sławomir Cenckiewicz – Przemysław Czarnek said on Radio Republika.
– Now the problem is that, in turn, the government is trying to block Minister Cenckiewicz's access to classified information, thereby tying his hands. It does not recognize his position. And we are dealing with the most serious matters – the implementation of agreements with the US President. This only shows that this government is a tremendous detriment to Poland – he added.

Bielan on the Trump-Nawrocki Meeting:
The Earliest Possible Date.
– I don't recall such a powerful president within the American political party system as Donald Trump is today. So, the fact that Karol Nawrocki managed to build one of the best relationships in the world so quickly, so rapidly – let me remind you that even the President of Argentina, also a right-winger and a Trump ally during his election campaign, has yet to be in the Oval Office at the White House during Trump's presidency – stated Adam Bielan in a conversation with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' 'Graffiti'.
– Karol Nawrocki, less than a month has passed since his oath-taking and the inauguration of his presidency, and he held very long discussions with the American president at the earliest possible date – because the political season begins on September 1st or 2nd, right after the traditional American holiday weekend – therefore, he had very long discussions with the American president at the earliest possible date – he continued.
08:16
– These are absurd accusations. If they come from such tuskoids – that is, fierce, pig-headed individuals like Arłukowicz, Tusk's supporters who would follow him into fire and are capable of saying any nonsense in the media without shame – then I can still somewhat understand that. But when former Prime Minister Jan Krzysztof Bielecki says it, it's truly enough to make you weep, because Bielecki, who was prime minister for almost a year – perhaps not entirely successfully, at least that's what the voters determined – he, of all people, should know the importance of Polish-American relations, especially when we have a war in Ukraine today – stated Adam Bielan on “Graffiti” Polsat News.
08:19
– Tusk accused Trump of the gravest crime one can accuse an American politician of, or any politician for that matter. He accused Trump of treason. Now, I don't know if you're aware, but according to the American Constitution, the crime of treason is punishable by death. Tusk had no proof for this, he presented no evidence, neither then in Bytom nor later, and he had the opportunity to retract those words, he could have apologized for them – stated Adam Bielan on Polsat News' “Graffiti”.
08:23
– As I said earlier, [Donald Tusk] is persona non grata; every politician in Washington knows it. Tusk will not be in the White House during Trump’s presidency; Tusk is aware of this, yet he persists regardless. The question is why? Is he so foolish—one cannot rule that out, although it seems to me that he is quite an intelligent person—or is someone asking him to do this? Someone who wants Polish-American relations, despite the excellent ties between the presidents, not to be at their best – stated Adam Bielan on Polsat News’s "Graffiti."
08:23
“The victory of Karol Nawrocki on June 1st was an extremely important step towards maintaining the independence and sovereignty of the Polish state. But this must be followed by another blow, meaning the downfall of this government and the takeover of power by a coalition for Polish interests. Otherwise, we won’t be able to fully utilize the great potential of President Karol Nawrocki,” said Przemysław Czarnek on Radio Republika.

Bielan:
Sikorski and Applebaum – The Most Damaging Duo to Poland's Image in Three Decades
– There has been no pair in Polish history over the last 30 years who have done more damage to our country's image than Sikorski and Applebaum. This pair has orchestrated hundreds of articles in the international press, leveraging their strong social connections, from the left-wing 'Guardian' in the UK to 'The Washington Post'. In dozens, even hundreds of articles, one can see the fingerprints of Sikorski and Applebaum from the time the United Right was in power – stated Adam Bielan on Polsat News' 'Graffiti'.
– He is the last person in Poland who can accuse someone of reporting against their own country. If Sikorski has any evidence, let him present it, because I know Sikorski as someone who liked to talk a lot, often saying not the wisest things – he continued.
08:32
Bielan on Sikorski:
A Teenager Could Have Filmed That Video.
"I mean, that's a video a teenager could have filmed. Haha, I'm in front of the White House, hi mom, hi dad, they let me onto the White House lawn. It's just a comedy," Adam Bielan stated on Polsat News's "Graffiti."

Czarnek:
We Witness Organized Anti-American Actions by the Polish Government
– Momentous, even unprecedented, geopolitical developments are unfolding, with implications for decades to come. And Poland finds itself at a juncture where the Western world meets the Chinese world, because, after all, Russia today is China – [...] the Russian economy's dependence on China is enormous. Consequently, Poland is becoming a region where, from Europe's perspective, our alliance with the United States could be of pivotal importance – Przemysław Czarnek stated on Radio Republika.
– Thus, it's hard to view all of this as mere coincidence. This is an organized anti-American action on the part of the Polish government. Maintaining Klich, who insulted the USA and its president, in the position not of an ambassador, but merely some kind of head of a diplomatic outpost with a country whose alliance is crucial for the security of each and every one of us – he continued.
– Sending Sikorski there, who scoffs at Karol Nawrocki. Although he did speak with an important minister in Donald Trump's administration – Minister Colby, who is indeed responsible for European affairs there – he did so *after* Karol Nawrocki's discussions, while simultaneously torpedoing Karol Nawrocki's visit. He insults the Presidential Chancellery, ministers, and presidential advisors with words highly vulgar for diplomacy – he went on to say.

Błaszczak:
Why Weren't Drones Violating Polish Airspace Shot Down? The Ministry of National Defense Leadership Is Failing
"Of course, [I would shoot down drones], and this is yet another problem, stemming from the fact that in Adam Bodnar's prosecutor's office [...] a team of prosecutors has been appointed to press charges against soldiers who use weapons while defending our borders," said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Radia ZET" (Radio ZET Guest).
"Why weren't that drone, or those drones, that recently violated Polish airspace, shot down?" he continued.
"No, [soldiers shouldn't shoot drones with rifles]; they have appropriate weapons, because such weapons exist, for example, the Pilica system [...]. It is clear that the current leadership of the Ministry of National Defense is failing to ensure security," he further stated.
08:49
Bielan:
Polish Taxpayers Paid a Million Zlotys for Sikorski's 'Award' – A 10-Minute Chat in a Miami Hotel
– What talks with Marco Rubio? Rubio didn't even have a meeting with Sikorski on his official calendar. The Polish taxpayer paid a million zlotys for an 'award' that Radek Sikorski founded, just so he could talk for 10 minutes in some hotel in Miami. Is this serious? – stated Adam Bielan on Polsat News's 'Graffiti'.
08:52
– I venture to say that this meeting would not have been as good as it was, and I can't say everything here. The coming months will show what the specific effects of the talks between the two presidents were, but I dare to say that it wouldn't have been as good if someone from Sikorski's team had been there – stated Adam Bielan in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.
08:54
Błaszczak:
Kosiniak-Kamysz Is Unfit for the Role of Defense Minister
– Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz is what he is. It's clear that he's not suited for this position, – Mariusz Błaszczak said on Radio ZET.
– Because there are even worse ones. There are even worse ones. President Nawrocki cooperates with representatives of Donald Tusk's government; this government is simply terrible, – he continued, after the host pointed out that he held a different opinion than Karol Nawrocki, who presents the Defense Minister as a model of cooperation with the president.
– I think President Nawrocki is comparing Kosiniak-Kamysz to Sikorski, and that's the result of this comparison, – he went on.
08:55
Czarnek:
This Government Should Be Replaced This Year, Even By a Caretaker Government
– All external investors who will now be buying Polish bonds – and their purchase by external investors is necessary – will demand higher yields from the Polish state, due to worse ratings from Fitch agency. Consequently, Polish public debt, external debt, will grow even more – said Przemysław Czarnek on Radio Republika.
– Waiting another two years with this government at the helm will mean that any government that takes power in two years – regardless of who its prime minister will be, who will be in the coalition, or who will form the parliamentary majority – will face an extremely difficult task, because lifting the country out of such ruin, to which Tusk's government is leading us, will be very hard – he stated.
– Therefore, all the more reason for this government to be replaced this year, even by a caretaker government. Because there is no time to lose here – he pointed out.
08:59
Błaszczak:
Poland's Washington Triumph Would Have Been Impossible Without Nawrocki; Trzaskowski Couldn't Have Secured Such Success
"This is a Polish victory in Washington that would have been impossible without President Karol Nawrocki. That's what the presidential elections were about. Rafał Trzaskowski, firstly, would not have appeared in the Oval Office in such a short time, and secondly, he would not have been able to secure such a success for Poland," – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio ZET.
"Why? Because Trzaskowski is Tusk's deputy, and Tusk's standing is non-existent in President Trump's administration," – he continued.
09:01
Bielan:
Sikorski, Visibly Intoxicated, Attacked Polish President at Georgia Dinner
– He is the last person in Poland who can accuse anyone of informing on their own country. If Sikorski has any evidence, let him present it. Because I know Sikorski as someone who likes to say many rather foolish things. I remember in 2008, and it was a shock to me, how, visibly intoxicated, he attacked the Polish President Lech Kaczyński at a dinner in Georgia, in Tbilisi. At that time, the president – I've mentioned this before – asked me to take a walk with Radek Sikorski so he could cool down, to put it mildly. Since then, I haven't taken him entirely seriously – stated Adam Bielan on Polsat News' 'Graffiti'.
09:04
Błaszczak:
Sikorski, 62, Behaves Like a 12-Year-Old
"The problem is that Radosław Sikorski, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, is 62 years old, yet behaves as if he were 12. Those selfies he takes in the White House courtyard are a prime example. The lack of seriousness on the part of the 'December 13th' coalition currently governing Poland is truly a problem for our country, which is why the government needs to be changed as soon as possible," Mariusz Błaszczak said on Radio ZET, when asked whether perhaps a deputy foreign minister should have been present at the White House meeting.
09:11
Błaszczak:
Mentzen Frustrated After Debate Loss to Morawiecki
– I think Mentzen is also frustrated by the fact that he lost the debate with Mateusz Morawiecki – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio ZET, when asked if PiS takes people for fools, in reference to Sławomir Mentzen's statement on the matter.
– The problem with Konfederacja is that 10 points, which were put forward as a basis for discussion by Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński, were rejected by Sławomir Mentzen – he continued.
09:13
Błaszczak:
Nawrocki Is Not the Leader of the Polish Right
– No, he isn't. Karol Nawrocki is the President of the Republic of Poland. The President is not the leader of a political movement – Mariusz Błaszczak said on Radio ZET, when asked if Karol Nawrocki is the leader of the right in Poland.
09:18
– Neither a breakthrough nor a first step. It was a very important moment. And why? Because exhumations, let's remember, have actually been ongoing since the 1990s. After all, it was then that localities such as Ostrówki or Wola Ostrowiecka, and later Gaj, were exhumed; they were first sites of search, then exhumation. But truly, if we look at the last three decades, it has been a sinusoid. At times it was possible to search and exhume, then there was a period when these activities could not be conducted – stated Michał Dworczyk in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24, when asked about the funeral of the victims of the UPA massacre in Puźniki.
– The Deputy Speaker of the Ukrainian parliament, the Minister of Culture, the Deputy Minister of Culture, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Never before has there been such a high-level representation of Ukrainian authorities at this type of ceremony. This, firstly, is already very significant in itself – he continued.
09:19
Błaszczak on Potential Jail Time:
I'm Ready to Face the Consequences.
– I am, of course, ready to bear the consequences of my service to Poland, because what I did served the security of Poles. I am proud that since I was Minister of National Defense, every inch of Polish soil is defended, and not just the Vistula line – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio ZET, when asked if he was ready for jail time.
– Under normal circumstances, these charges are baseless – he continued.
09:19
Dworczyk on Polish-Ukrainian Relations:
We Are in a Completely Different Moment in History Today.
– Well, in reality, one bill was vetoed, which in fact replicated the status quo that had existed for three years. Today we are in a completely different moment in history, also regarding Polish-Ukrainian relations, and at a different stage of the war than we were in 2022. And adapting these tools and the assistance—which, I believe, we should continue to provide, also in our own well-understood interest—to the current situation, I think, is a good idea. Of course, we will see what ultimately comes out of the bill that will be passed and signed by the president – stated Michał Dworczyk in 'Piasecki's Conversation' on TVN24.
– At that time, of course, as always in these kinds of situations, which are absolutely extraordinary—and you will admit that war is an exceptional situation. Of course, from today's perspective, historically analyzing all those decisions, one can say: yes, certain things could have been done differently. But in principle, I believe that the decisions made at that time speak very well of the caliber, of the Polish political class – he continued.
09:24
Błaszczak on how PiS will vote for Sejm Speaker:
There's no reason we would support a very aggressive post-communist.
– Yes. There are no reasons why we would support a post-communist, a truly typical post-communist, who is simultaneously very aggressive, who does not want to engage in dialogue, who focuses on, I understand, maintaining his position within this "8-star coalition" – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio ZET, when asked whether, during the vote for Sejm Speaker, PiS would vote against Czarzasty and for Hołownia.
09:31
– “One thing I know, because I spoke about it with Minister Przydacz, as a matter of fact, when we met in Puźniki during the funeral ceremony. During the meeting with Donald Trump, or with his associates, absolutely no intra-party topics or any names were discussed,” stated Michał Dworczyk on “Piasecki’s Conversation” on TVN24.
– “We are facing a situation unfavorable to Poland's interests, and that is why I believe that Minister Sikorski and his associates should, as soon as possible, contact the President, ask for a meeting, and resolve these relations in a way that is beneficial for Poland. […] But for now, I rather see a series of gestures that indicate the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' desire to continue a confrontational path and take actions against the President and his entourage,” he continued.
09:31
Błaszczak:
Alliance Shifts in Current Parliamentary Term 'Highly Unlikely'
"I think it's highly unlikely due to the balance of power, but it would be possible if [...] support for the Civic Coalition reached a very low level," said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio ZET, when asked whether an alliance shift is still possible during this parliamentary term.
10:02
– The past few days have brought terrible news from the government regarding the agreement with Mercosur countries. Donald Tusk, one might say, sold out the farmers like a sack of potatoes. He did not fight for Poland's interests in any way, while Germany is pushing its own interests, the interests of its entire automotive industry – said Waldemar Buda at a press conference.
– In Poland's interest, we cannot afford to say "we lost" before the finish line, because today that finish line is still a matter of a few months away. Therefore, today, together with MP [Piotr Müller], we would like to call on Donald Tusk to present an agenda of actions he has taken regarding the agreement with Mercosur countries. Let him show with whom and where he spoke, and what the results were, because we fear that in this matter, there has simply been complete passivity – he continued.
– We also want such an agenda and timetable – and not a white flag of surrender – for the future, that is, for the coming weeks and months. We want an agenda from government representatives, detailing with whom they will meet and speak, and what results they intend to achieve from these discussions in the near future. We cannot afford to say today that we have lost; we must fight – he continued.
– Before the start of the presidency, we had a blocking minority; they squandered it during the presidency. These are errors and omissions warranting the State Tribunal, but today we are fighting for the farmers' interests and we will not drop this matter. We will demand, and today we are submitting a request, for the presentation of an agenda of past meetings [...] but also for the future: what further actions are planned to block the agreement with Mercosur countries – he added.
10:14
Müller:
Polish EU Commissioner Proposed Funding Cuts for Polish Agriculture
– Parallel to this process [the EU-Mercosur agreement], the adoption of a new EU budget for the next Multiannual Financial Framework is underway. In this draft budget, Polish Commissioner Piotr Serafin, a very close associate of Donald Tusk, presented a proposal in which funds for agricultural policy would decrease by 22% – Piotr Müller stated at a press conference.
– Beyond the Mercosur agreement being adopted, aid for policies targeting European rural areas, including Polish rural areas, is to be further reduced. Importantly, the so-called second pillar of the Common Agricultural Policy, which concerned sustainable rural development and from which Polish rural areas particularly benefited, is also to be eliminated – he continued.
– This is a paradoxical situation, as this draft budget was presented by a Polish Commissioner – meaning, in short, a Polish Commissioner proposed reduced funding for Polish agriculture – he added.
12:48
"Regarding Ukraine, I would like to refer to the words of the President. There is not the slightest doubt, neither in Poland, nor in discussions between the Polish President and the Polish government, nor in discussions with Western and Central European partners, that we share a common view of the Russian threat," said President Karol Nawrocki in Vilnius, at a joint press conference with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda.
"We in Poland are capable of setting aside certain political emotions – and I, as the President of Poland, my own emotions concerning some actions by Western European countries – when we talk about our national security and the security of all of Europe. Here, we must all stand together," he stated.
As the Polish President noted: "The President and I view Ukraine's integration into the European Union somewhat differently. Our vision, and the continuation of these discussions, is on a slightly different level – my vision as the President of Poland. This, of course, does not preclude our full solidarity with Ukraine in the face of the Russian Federation. However, these are matters already between Poland and Ukraine."
He referred to the words of the Lithuanian President, who had stated earlier: "The European perspectives of Ukraine and Moldova are also very important. This is our common strategic goal. Ukraine should begin EU membership negotiations as soon as possible. The accession date should be 2030. At the same time, we must ensure that Moldova also walks this path alongside Ukraine. 'We Need Real, Effective Action' — December 13th Coalition's Politicians Unleash Fury
– The fury of the December 13th Coalition politicians following my statement regarding the government's complete lack of action on anti-drone security demonstrates the scale of the problem. The current team at the Ministry of National Defense (MON) has not only failed to strengthen our air defense but has further weakened it by withdrawing the SkyControl system from the border – Mariusz Błaszczak wrote on social media.
– We need real and effective actions. Our state-owned defense industry should, as quickly as possible, launch the production of low-cost and easy-to-operate unmanned and anti-drone systems – following the example of what Ukraine has done. We should massively acquire such systems, yet the current leadership of the MON spends tens of thousands of zlotys on a single training drone, while Ukrainians buy combat drones for just a few thousand zlotys – emphasized the head of the PiS parliamentary club.
– The only thing the current team at the MON has done is establish a drone forces command with the brother of the former Minister of Justice at its helm. This will not increase our security – he said.

"Energy cannot be a luxury. It is fundamental to the functioning and security of every family and every company. Like water and air. We know what to do so that Polish families do not experience hardship when the electricity or heating bill arrives. We have concrete solutions," Mateusz Morawiecki states in a video published on X.
The video proposes reducing electricity bills by 30% through cuts to VAT, distribution tariffs, and "other irrational fees." It also mentions, among other things, changes to the Clean Air program, ending subsidies for electric cars, investing in energy storage systems, and introducing a social tariff for electricity at 0.30 PLN/kWh and for heating at 100 PLN/GJ.
Expensive electricity – this is unfortunately the scenario being served up by the current government.

– Certainly in the near future, as the president is currently on another foreign trip – today in Vilnius, tomorrow in Helsinki – so surely when an opportunity presents itself. The president himself commented on it on Twitter over the weekend, stating that such a meeting will definitely take place. However, I believe that the issue of relations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs primarily rests with the MFA. This is because relations with the Ministry of National Defense are progressing very well; information reaches the president. This serves as an example that these relations can be maintained in matters most crucial for Poland, despite disagreeing on many issues – stated Paweł Szefernaker on PR24.
– The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is permanently in dispute with the president, and I believe that for the good of Poland, a certain correction regarding the functioning of the MFA should be implemented – he continued.
16:54
Szefernaker:
A Rivalry for the Leadership of Civic Platform Is Underway
– I am convinced that, due to the fact there is currently a certain rivalry within Civic Platform as to who will be the next candidate to lead the party, Radosław Sikorski is engaging in a dispute with the President in order to build his position within PO. This is detrimental to Poland and Polish foreign policy, and it should change – stated Paweł Szefernaker on PR24.
17:05
– “Today, unfortunately, Konfederacja – despite the fact that Confederation voters largely voted for President Nawrocki in the second round and, in this referendum, spoke out against Donald Tusk’s government – does not unequivocally rule out a coalition with Civic Platform, which greatly surprises me,” – stated Paweł Szefernaker on PR24.
17:53
Nawrocki:
Trump is the Only Free World Leader Capable of Negotiating with Putin; We Must Support His Efforts
– Before I came to Vilnius, I was in Washington, with the President of the United States, President Trump, who, we must state clearly, ladies and gentlemen, is the only leader of the free world capable of negotiating with Vladimir Putin today. Therefore, we should support President Trump in these efforts, because he is responsible for the strength of countries like Poland and Lithuania as well – said President Karol Nawrocki in Vilnius during a meeting with the Polish community in Lithuania.
– But we cannot, of course, freeload, because it's an old truth that allies only defend those who can defend themselves – he continued.
18:01
"You are the first Poles in the entire world whom I am meeting outside the borders of the Republic of Poland," said President Karol Nawrocki in Vilnius during a meeting with the Polish community in Lithuania.
"I would like to tell you that you can count on your president, who is also your voice—your voice as Poles, as citizens of Lithuania, as loyal citizens of Lithuania. I will ensure security, and Poland, as a leader in Central Europe, in Eastern Europe, a leader in defense, economy, and also infrastructure, feels responsibility for our entire region, and that is how the next 5 years will be," he continued.
18:35
Szefernaker:
Prime Minister's Actions Have Led to Polish Government Lacking Relations with Trump Administration Today
— Prime Minister Tusk's actions have led to the current situation where the Polish government administration virtually has no contacts or relations with the administration of Donald Trump, the President of the United States. This is the state of foreign policy conducted by Donald Tusk's government today — said Paweł Szefernaker on TV Republika's program "Ewa Bugała. Wszystko jasne".
— I am not surprised that the Prime Minister expects little from the President, as he doesn't even set the bar that high for himself. Today, government representatives do not have the same opportunities for cooperation with President Trump as the administration of President Karol Nawrocki does — he continued.
18:42
Szefernaker:
'It's Bad for Poland if There's No Ambassador with Our Most Important Ally.' Hopes Government Will Find Solutions
– I hope the government will prepare solutions that are good for Poland, because it is bad for Poland if we don't have a Polish ambassador with our most important ally in Washington – said Paweł Szefernaker on TV Republika.
– If someone is sent there who has insulted the President of the United States, it is difficult for the Polish President to agree to such a nomination. Consequently, this is a misguided action by the government; we will speak out loudly about this, and the President will not agree if these are bad proposals – he continued.
18:54
– We are a frontline state, and consequently, we are certainly vulnerable to various incidents of this nature. A strong state, even when such incidents occur, draws conclusions from them – said Paweł Szefernaker on TV Republika.
– We also expect, in cooperation with the Ministry of National Defense and the National Security Bureau, which is based at the Presidential Palace, that these conclusions will be drawn. I must point out here that the President is continuously informed by the Ministry of National Defense about the situation concerning Polish airspace violations, so this cooperation regarding information exchange is being implemented – he continued.
– These are also various situations; they could be drones used for smuggling. Therefore, one must approach all this with a certain detachment, observe, and draw conclusions. And these will be precisely the President's expectations: that these matters will be brought to a conclusion – he added.
18:57
Szefernaker:
President Will Respond to Any Attempt to Bypass Him on Tax Hikes
"The President will certainly also, just as in other matters, respond appropriately to any attempt to bypass him in the procedure of raising taxes," Paweł Szefernaker said on TV Republika.
19:00
Szefernaker's Warning on National Debt:
If This Continues, We'll End Up Like Greece.
– The government, prime minister, and ministers are detached from the problems of ordinary Poles. They present indicators that have no real impact on the lives of Poles. They are evading the record-high debt, turning a blind eye to it, and unfortunately, all of this leads to a situation where, if it continues to progress in this manner, we will end up like Greece – said Paweł Szefernaker on TV Republika.
19:06
– Today, the President will certainly raise these matters very strongly, though I repeat, the situation is completely different than it was 1.5 years ago; that time was not utilized by the government to effectively block this agreement [EU-Mercosur] – said Paweł Szefernaker on TV Republika.
– The President is the guarantor that this topic will be raised in Polish foreign policy, but the ultimate outcomes of these actions still rest with the government, as it is the government that will ultimately seek to build this majority in the European Council – he continued.
– President Nawrocki will certainly do everything to undertake such actions, so that these topics appear on the international agenda – he added.
19:43
Leśkiewicz:
I Categorically Deny Claims That President Nawrocki or His Delegation Filed Any Allegations Against Tusk with Trump
– I absolutely deny this false information, that members of the delegation or President Nawrocki himself filed any allegations with President Donald Trump against Donald Tusk or against members of Donald Tusk's government. This is ludicrous; to make such baseless accusations – said Rafał Leśkiewicz in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń."
19:51
Leśkiewicz:
Tusk Played No Role Whatsoever in Nawrocki's Talks with Trump
– During a serious meeting, the most important first foreign visit of President Karol Nawrocki, we discussed matters important for Poland and Poles. However, Prime Minister Donald Tusk seemed to play no role whatsoever in these talks; his name was not even mentioned, – Rafał Leśkiewicz stated on Polsat News's “Gość Wydarzeń.”
– No, he didn't ask [Donald Trump] about his namesake. Instead, he asked us how we ensure security, and how he could also help in guaranteeing security in the region, – he continued.
20:00
Leśkiewicz:
The President Has No Problem With the Government – It's the Government That Has a Problem With the President
– During this meeting [Karol Nawrocki with Donald Trump], we discussed exclusively matters related to Polish-American cooperation, the topic of the presence of American soldiers, economic and military issues, and bilateral relations – Rafał Leśkiewicz stated on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń".
– Issues concerning how the relations between the President and the government are shaping up, or rather, between the government and the President – because the President has no problem with the government, it is the government that has a problem with the President, and it articulates this strongly – he pointed out.

"Certainly, President Karol Nawrocki will raise [during his visit to Berlin] the topic of war reparations and the necessity of paying compensation for crimes committed by the Nazis during World War II," said Rafał Leśkiewicz on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń."
"This topic concerning reparations cannot be entirely abandoned. Prime Minister Tusk has relented, whereas President Karol Nawrocki is not backing down and will do everything to obtain these reparations from Germany," he pointed out.

– The established Institute of War Losses was also supposed to prepare a report regarding losses incurred by Poland as a result of the aggression of the Soviet Union [...]. What happened to this institution after December 2023? In essence, it's gone, it's paralyzed, it doesn't exist – said Rafał Leśkiewicz on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń."
– Therefore, we do not possess any document that could form the basis for approaching the authorities of the Russian Federation to obtain reparations. We do not possess a document like the one prepared by MP Mularczyk's team – he stated.
– Undoubtedly, this issue will also need to be raised. We are already doing many things – replacing the government in foreign policy, amending laws on behalf of the government. Certainly, the time will also come to prepare such a document. Perhaps this is precisely the moment for a document to be created in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland that will be a bill presented to the authorities of the Russian Federation – he indicated.

Szynkowski vel Sęk on Sikorski's US Visit:
I'd Advise a Little More Seriousness.
– Well, that video, or that sequence of photos, that album, as the president called it – from in front of the White House, from in front of the Washington Monument, and from various other places – I probably wouldn't want to comment on it. Unless, of course, you compel me to in the name of the seriousness of foreign policy – stated Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk on “Pytanie dnia” (Question of the Day) on TVP INFO, when asked about Sikorski's visit to the USA.
– However, the fact that he [Radosław Sikorski] is meeting with Marco Rubio, that's fine, but the timing is such that it somewhat gave the impression of a race. A quick meeting somewhere in Florida... Well, if it's meant to serve Poland, then so be it, but sometimes one can have doubts whether that is truly the objective – he continued.
– It would be better if he demonstrated this through the substance and seriousness of the meetings, rather than with videos he shoots trying to prove something. Well, you know, soon there'll be a video of Radosław Sikorski sneaking into the White House through a basement entrance and proudly saying: here I am. Well, I would recommend a little more seriousness – he continued.

Szynkowski vel Sęk on Bielan's Remarks:
It's a More Colloquial Term.
"I have no knowledge of that. But I think it's a more colloquial term," stated Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk on "Pytanie dnia" on TVP INFO, when asked whether Prime Minister Tusk is banned from entering the United States.
"He [Adam Bielan] most likely meant that these channels are closed. One can describe it this way, or one can describe it differently. Well, I would describe it as the closing of certain channels in the White House for Donald Tusk, which is indeed a fact," he continued.

Szynkowski vel Sęk Assesses Nawrocki's Meetings with Trump:
Two Major Outcomes.
– In the case of the bilateral meeting, there are at least two major outcomes: the maintenance of the American presence in Poland with the possibility of increasing this military presence, and an invitation to the G20 summit. Is that not enough? And there's also the Three Seas Initiative, there are energy contacts, and a few other things. So, this shows that it was worth pursuing this meeting, – stated Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk on “Pytanie dnia” on TVP INFO.
– Someone always has to dot the i's. It's good that it's precisely the President of Poland, – he continued.

– According to my knowledge, a specific draft bill has been prepared that will allow this to happen – stated Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk on “Pytanie dnia” on TVP INFO, when asked about President Nawrocki's election promise to lower electricity prices by one-third.
– That law was primarily intended to broadly introduce onshore wind turbines and the possibilities for building them. It met with significant social resistance, which is why the President vetoed it. At the same time, the President proposed a draft bill concerning the freezing of electricity price increases, and we are awaiting work on this presidential bill in parliament – he continued.
– Of course, just like all of President Nawrocki's promises [mistakenly referring to Andrzej Duda], still from the campaign period – he countered when asked if the promise to lower electricity prices was still valid.

A legislative fast-track is underway – two government draft bills, which the Council of Ministers will adopt on Tuesday, are scheduled to be addressed by Members of Parliament in the Sejm as early as Wednesday. These concern a draft bill on a heating voucher, which proposes extending the maximum electricity price mechanism of 500 PLN/MWh for households until the end of the year. The proposal also introduces the aforementioned heating voucher.
The second draft is an amendment to an amendment of certain acts concerning the verification of eligibility for family benefits for foreigners and the conditions for assistance to citizens of Ukraine in connection with the armed conflict in that country – in practice, it aims to link the right to the 800+ benefit for non-EU foreigners to their activity in the labor market.
According to the current version of the schedule, the second readings of these drafts are already planned for Friday morning – meaning that votes on the adoption of the final regulations will take place on the same day, and the entire legislative process in the Sejm will conclude in just over 50 hours.
This will be, in a way, a sign that we have a new Poland.
