The agenda also includes a report from the Minister of National Defence on the progress of acquiring new type submarines codenamed "ORKA".

Senate on Heating Vouchers and NIK President Appointment

A one-day session of the Senate will be held on Wednesday. Members of the upper house of parliament will discuss, among other things, a draft amending certain acts to verify the entitlement to family benefits for foreigners and concerning the conditions for assisting Ukrainian citizens in connection with the armed conflict on their territory. In practice, this concerns, among other things, linking the payment of the 800+ benefit for foreigners to their employment activity.

The agenda also includes a draft law on heating vouchers and amendments to certain acts to limit electricity prices, as well as an amendment to the act concerning crude oil reserves. Additionally, the Senate is expected to consent to the appointment of the President of the Supreme Audit Office (NIK).

The session is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM. Earlier, at 9:50 AM, a briefing by the Marshal of the Senate, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, will take place.

Bielan on Media Reports Regarding Trump's Letter to Nawrocki:

A Very Nasty Move from the Polish Embassy in Washington.

- I don't know the content of this letter [from Donald Trump] yet. I fear that the content of this letter, and in fact, I know that the President himself does not yet know the content of this letter. I spoke just a moment ago with his Chief of Staff, Minister Szefernaker, and this is a very nasty move on the part of the Polish Embassy in Washington, which still does not have an ambassador, only a chargé d'affaires, that the fact of the letter being sent leaks out before it reaches the President's desk. You gentlemen are playing a very nasty game - stated Adam Bielan on Radio Zet.

- In the report by TVN24, by correspondent Marcin Wrona, there is direct information stating that this letter went through the embassy. However, I hope this letter will physically reach Warsaw soon. The disclosure of this fact, the leak to the media, should certainly not have happened, and I hope that those responsible for this will be punished swiftly - he continued.

08:29

Bielan:

There's a lot of truth to the claims that if Trump had won the 2020 election, there would be no Russian invasion of Ukraine

- He is the one who, until the last days of his presidency, his first presidency, halted the construction of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Unfortunately, his successor lifted the sanctions on Nord Stream. I think there is a lot of truth to the claims that if Trump had won the 2020 election and had been president, this invasion, which we are observing today in Ukraine, the Russian one, would not have happened - stated Adam Bielan on Radio Zet.

08:32

NATO Secretary General Spoke in a Similar Tone. Bielan: No One is Attacking Him for It in Poland

- No, in a similar tone [as Donald Trump regarding Russian drones] also spoke the NATO Secretary General. No one is attacking him for it in Poland. Later, we had a very decisive stance from the Americans, both at the NATO level, from ambassadors, Ambassador Whitaker, who is currently in Warsaw, the US Ambassador to NATO, as well as our Ambassador to the UN, they very decisively supported our country. It is the Americans who are currently commanding NATO forces on the European continent. It is thanks to them that the eastern flank has been significantly strengthened - stated Adam Bielan on Radio Zet.

08:36

"Bosacki Misled UN Security Council Members." Bielan: Russian Propaganda is Exploiting This Against Us Today

- During this address, there’s no hiding it, Minister Bosacki misled the UN Security Council members by claiming that this building was damaged as a result of a Russian drone attack. Either he did it intentionally and consciously, or he was misinformed by his colleagues. The question is how it's possible that 60 hours after this incident, Bosacki was misleading the UNSC members, which Russian propaganda is exploiting against us today - stated Adam Bielan on Radio Zet.

08:46

Przydacz on Trump's Letter to Nawrocki: 'We're Waiting for Mr. Klich, the Head, to Send It'

- "It hasn't yet reached the Chancellery of the President [Donald Trump's letter to Karol Nawrocki]; I checked again this morning. As I assume, it is currently at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington D.C. We are waiting for Mr. Klich, the head, to send it to the Chancellery," said Marcin Przydacz in RMF FM's "Morning Conversation."

- "However, a situation in which the media learn about the content of the letter earlier than its addressee does not reflect well on the speed of dispatch and correspondence by the current Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I must say I am slightly concerned about this. But we are waiting," he stated.

08:49

Przydacz Points to the Possible Subject of Trump's Letter to Nawrocki

- President Donald Trump announced in one of his recent posts on the Truth Social platform that it would concern the issue of tariffs and sanctions that he expects from European countries towards Russia, but also towards other economies. Perhaps this correspondence concerns this - said Marcin Przydacz on RMF FM.

- I have not read this letter, because it is probably still on Mr. Klich's desk - he noted.

08:54

Bielan:

Russians Will Exploit Polish Government's Blunder for Months

- What bothers me the most is the fact that we so foolishly handed ourselves over to the Russians. The Russians will certainly exploit this blunder by the Polish government at the UN Security Council session for months to come - stated Adam Bielan on Radio Zet.

09:04

Przydacz on the Wyryki House Incident:

Completely Unacceptable That the President Is Not Informed.

"As of now, I have no information that the president has received a full report regarding this matter [the damage to the house in Wyryki]. Indeed, the president expressed such an expectation yesterday evening, still in Paris, during a conference. It is completely unacceptable that the president is not informed... He was not informed about this situation," – said Marcin Przydacz on RMF FM.

"The president referred to 'Rzeczpospolita' yesterday, and consequently, he learned about these facts, which are being discussed and are of a media nature, from 'Rzeczpospolita'. However, he expects actual, verified information from the government side," – he noted.

09:06

Bielan:

Konfederacja Politicians Make No Secret of Readiness to Form Joint Government with PO

- Konfederacja politicians, after all, don't conceal their readiness to form a joint government with PO. Just listen to Wipler. What does 'everything is possible' mean? It means that a Konfederacja-PO coalition is possible, so voters, when making their decisions either next year or the year after – because we don't know when the parliamentary elections will be – must be aware of this. - stated Adam Bielan on Radio Zet.

09:10

Przydacz Challenges Kosiniak-Kamysz on Wyryki House Incident:

Are you in control of the Ministry of National Defense, or not?

- The Ministry of National Defense claims it provided information [to the president] as it possessed at that given moment. Perhaps the MoD itself did not have information regarding the causes of this situation in Wyryki, that house, for what reason it was damaged or destroyed. But that speaks just as poorly of the MoD and its services, that they do not have verified information. Well, unless, of course, the MoD is right here and a drone indeed fell on that house, and 'Rzeczpospolita' is not right - said Marcin Przydacz on RMF FM.

- I have the impression that the Ministry of National Defense itself doesn't really know what's going on there. It turns out that the media get this information first, rather than Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz. Mr. Prime Minister, do you control what's happening there, or not? - he asked.

09:20

Przydacz Announces Meeting with Bosacki: 'I Will Expect Explanations'

- My meeting with Deputy Minister Marcin Bosacki will take place. Tomorrow afternoon, at 1 p.m. - said Marcin Przydacz on RMF FM.

- I think we will also discuss this situation. Because if Minister Bosacki announced to the whole world that this house in Wyryki was destroyed by a Russian drone, and now 'Rzeczpospolita' writes something different, then it is a certain kind of embarrassment for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Russian disinformation, unfortunately, will exploit this example - he pointed out.

- So I will also expect Minister Bosacki to explain to me how it happened that he reported to the UN Security Council - perhaps it is not so, but for now, that is the media information we have - not with full detail - he announced.

- The agenda for this meeting is expanding. Initially, the first topics were supposed to be personnel issues and the paralysis of the Polish foreign service, which is a result of Minister Sikorski's decisions - he added.

09:29

Przydacz takes a jab at Sikorski:

He's a big boy, he has to get used to losing sometimes.

"I assure you that communication channels, at least on our part, are open. I don't know if the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs itself is fully ready for dialogue. Perhaps they still haven't accepted the fact that Karol Nawrocki is the winner of the presidential elections, and not someone else. Or perhaps Minister Sikorski hasn't come to terms with the fact that for the third time he failed to become a presidential candidate. But he's a big boy, he needs to get used to the fact that sometimes you lose, sometimes someone else wins, and you have to move forward," said Marcin Przydacz on RMF FM.

09:37

Przydacz on obtaining reparations from Germany:

I believe it's possible.

- Absolutely, yes. I believe it is possible. However, it certainly won't be achieved through a single meeting, a single conversation - said Marcin Przydacz on RMF FM, when asked if he truly believes that Germany will pay Poland reparations amounting to 6 trillion PLN.

- If Minister Sikorski imagined that yesterday the President would go and hand over an account number, expecting Chancellor Merz to press enter and suddenly have the money transferred, then that is truly staggering naivety on Minister Sikorski's part - he stated.

09:44

Przydacz:

Sikorski Would Be Better Off in Political Retirement

"It would probably be better if Minister Sikorski had already withdrawn to political retirement. It's evident that political emotions are getting the better of him, overriding the reality of politics. So, indeed, at this age, one can truly start thinking about ceding one's place to younger colleagues from Platforma as well," said Marcin Przydacz on RMF FM.

09:54

Tusk:

Before Long, Poland's Army Will Be NATO's Largest on the Continent

- Yes, we pay them our deep respects, but the greatest tribute, and of this I am deeply convinced, the wisest tribute, one they deserved, one that in some sense gives meaning, deep meaning to their sacrifice, is today a secure Poland, a wise Poland, a Poland that will not repeat the mistakes of those times, which led to the tragedy of 1939, to the occupation, to the seizure of our territories by Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia — stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Wytyczno, on the anniversary of the USSR's aggression against Poland.

- Everything is different today; Poland has a real alliance, and this is the first lesson that comes from September 1939, a lesson that we, as a nation and as a state, have learned well. Poland is not alone today. Poland is not the target of an attack by two enemies from two sides. Poland is today firmly anchored in the Western alliance — the Prime Minister continued.

- In recent days and weeks, not only in Orzysz, Ustka, and at the borders with Belarus and Russia, but also in many other locations, Polish soldiers, together with American, Dutch, Swedish, Canadian, Norwegian, Lithuanian, Latvian, and German soldiers, are jointly exercising. This demonstrates not only solidarity towards Poland and Poles during these rather dramatic days but also proves that this alliance is real, and that just as for years, so too today and tomorrow, no one should dare to attack any of the alliance's states, including our homeland — he added.

- These exercises and the Polish state's policy over recent years demonstrate that Poland is not only not alone but is also increasingly better prepared for independent armed effort. Very soon, the Polish army will be the largest NATO army on the continent. Very soon, the Polish army will be one of the best-equipped — emphasized the Prime Minister.

Says Kidawa-Błońska Ahead of Extra Senate Session:

We Wouldn't Be Playing Catch-Up If Not for the President's Veto,

"Today, there's an additional Senate session. We have 4 important bills on its agenda. If it weren't for the President's veto, we wouldn't have to play catch-up and prepare solutions that could take effect from next month," said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a press briefing.

"Naturally, there's the very important bill on aid for Ukrainian citizens. It must be adopted by the end of the month to avoid causing chaos in our country. The heating voucher bill, which protects our citizens' pockets, so they can afford basic services and heating," she listed.

"The bill on oil and gas reserves, also very important in current times. And the bill [...] on housing benefits for uniformed services," she continued.

"These are important bills, already processed in committees. The committees recommended their adoption without amendments, but I understand that during the session, senators might still propose some amendments," she added.

10:11

"We Need National Unity," Tusk Declares: "We Must Not Be Divided"

- What do we need today as much as a strong alliance and a modern army? We need national unity. Perhaps today there is no more important task for all of us. This task involves maintaining complete unity, especially in the face of threats, and these are an obvious fact. Not far from here, those dramatic events related to the drone aggression of our aggressive eastern neighbor occurred - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Wytyczno, on the anniversary of the USSR's aggression against Poland.

- A few days ago, I spoke with our pilots. They said — we feel strong today because we feel the support of the Polish state, the trust of Poles in pilots, officers, soldiers, and generals. It is an absolutely crucial task to maintain this spirit of unity, this foundation of our independence. We cannot allow ourselves to be divided, and we clearly see that this drone attack on Poland was primarily aimed at causing disorganization and chaos, including in our minds and hearts - he continued.

- If the demons of the past return, if Poles begin to quarrel and argue over the most crucial issues—and our security is among these most important issues—then the Kremlin and Russia will be able to triumph, just as they did 86 years ago - the Prime Minister emphasized.

10:18

Tusk:

No Polish Soldier Should Hesitate for a Second to Open Fire on an Aggressor

- A Border Guard officer, a soldier, a police officer, when someone attacks our border, when someone violates our borders, when someone attacks our territory, when someone, weapon in hand or in an aircraft, threatens the lives or property of our citizens, that person must be aware that the Polish Army will open fire. And a Polish soldier in such a situation knows, also thanks to these new regulations, that they truly have the full backing of the state here - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Wytyczno, on the anniversary of the USSR's aggression against Poland.

- A Polish soldier, when they have to shoot down a drone or take action on the Polish border — we are, after all, close to a border that is under pressure, similarly to Podlachia, also from illegal migration — or a Border Guard officer, must not hesitate for a second whether they will face consequences if they open fire on an aggressor - he continued.

10:20

Kidawa-Błońska on the Urgency of Passing Aid for Ukrainians:

Otherwise, we'll paralyze our country.

"This bill [on aid to citizens of Ukraine] should be passed as a matter of urgency. It has been approved by the Sejm. We have discussed it, and the committees recommend adopting it without amendments. I understand that PiS senators may hold a different view, but if we don't do this today and the president doesn't sign it, we will cause paralysis in our country," said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a press briefing before an extraordinary session of the Senate.

12:54

Nawrocki:

The Katyn Genocide Might Not Have Happened If the World Understood the Threat of Communist Ideology

- This genocide [Katyn], we could argue, might not have happened. Just as World War II might not have happened, if the world had listened, if the world had understood the threat of the emerging ideology of Soviet communism, an ideology that had been developing since the mid-19th century, since the Communist Manifesto, where it was explicitly written: 'revolutionary terror is needed, one must murder to reach the highest point of civilization, which communism is supposed to be' - said President Karol Nawrocki in his speech.

12:54

Nawrocki:

The Katyń Genocide Was an Attempt to Permanently Erase Poland from the Map of Europe

- The Katyń genocide was an attempt to permanently erase the Polish Republic from the map of Europe and the world, but thanks to ceremonies like today's, thanks to our meetings, thanks to the knowledge provided by the Institute of National Remembrance [...] thanks to the Katyń families, thanks to many responsible teachers from the times of the Polish People's Republic (PRL) and responsible students [...] the truth about Katyń survived - said President Karol Nawrocki in his speech.

12:55

Nawrocki:

Decades Since the Katyn Massacre, The World Repeats Old Mistakes, Hoping to Tame the Soviet Beast

- So many years have passed since the Katyn massacre, and the world, not so long ago, repeated and still repeats the same mistakes, succumbing to communist ideology, succumbing to Soviet disinformation, hoping to tame the Soviet beast or the post-Soviet beast, something that has not been achieved for decades, and so many generations remain mistaken about the essence of Soviet and communist ideology, - said President Karol Nawrocki in his speech.

- We cannot allow ourselves to be deceived by Soviet ideology and disinformation. We cannot believe that anything other than strength – the strength of the Polish armed forces, of the Polish soldier, the strength of our alliances, the strength of us as a national community – can stop what happened after 1939. This is a task for all of us as a national community, - he continued.

12:56

Nawrocki:

We Will Never Surrender Our Freedom and Independence, But We Must Also Ensure Katyń Never Happens Again

- We did not surrender to the Soviet invasion in 1920. Nearly 22,000 of our elite were massacred. For 45 years, Soviet propaganda was instilled in us. They sought to strip us of both body and soul. And yet, here we are today - said President Karol Nawrocki in his address.

- Here we stand today, remembering, and we will never surrender our freedom and independence, but we must also do everything to ensure Katyń never happens again. Down with communism, long live a free and independent Poland - he continued.

13:24

Tusk:

Soldiers and Border Guards Must Have Full Assurance That the State Stands By Their Side When Protecting the Border and Citizens

- We must state this matter very clearly. I am speaking here in the presence of the ministers, because I am constantly collaborating with several of you on this matter. I wanted to thank the Minister of Justice, the Prosecutor General, for personally overseeing this entire issue, an issue which is called: the full legal security of Polish soldiers who, in a highly commendable manner, perform their duties, whether on the Polish border or recently in Polish airspace, reacting to the hostile, aggressive, provocative actions of our eastern neighbor – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a government meeting.

- Exactly in this room, we, as the government, adopted amendments to the Homeland Defense Act, and these amendments were aimed – and we will adhere to this precisely – at unequivocally setting the matter straight at last, not upside down, as it had been for years. If a soldier or border guard uses all available tools to protect the Polish border, Polish citizens, their property, security, or the security of the homeland, they must have the full assurance that the state stands by their side – he emphasized.

13:36

Tusk:

A soldier who opens fire on an enemy attacking Poland must have full legal security

- Every situation that requires action by the prosecutor's office will be analyzed by the prosecutor's office. But not in order to, in any way, not even in the slightest, shift responsibility for the consequences of actions on Polish territory, the Polish border, or in Polish skies onto Polish soldiers, Polish pilots, or allied pilots and soldiers. That is out of the question - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a government meeting.

- A soldier who opens fire on an enemy attacking Poland must have full legal security. And we cannot in any way allow anyone – be it the media, politicians, the opposition, or the president – to again lead to a situation where a Polish soldier or Border Guard officer, before making a decision, will wonder if they face any repercussions for it, or if someone will criticize them for it - he pointed out.

13:48

Tusk:

'If we damage our home defending it, the entire responsibility still lies with the aggressor'

"It must also be clear to every state institution and every politician that situations may arise where some losses occur. And this in no way alters the responsibility of the aggressor and attacker," said Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a government meeting.

"If someone attacks our home, and we, defending it, cause some damage within that home, that doesn't change the fact that we will continue to defend it, and the entire responsibility falls on the assailant, the aggressor," he indicated.

14:00

Kaczyński Proposes Resolution on Relocating Russian Embassy in Warsaw:

The Right Moment to End an Abnormal Situation.

- Today's conference is dedicated primarily to one initiative: the Sejm adopting a resolution concerning a decision that only the government can make, to change the location of the Russian embassy in Warsaw – because at present, we know where it is. Of course, that location must be Warsaw - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

- Today is the opportune moment to simply put an end to this abnormal situation. And that is what we wanted to communicate to you. The draft resolution – a very short one – prepared by Mr. MP [Marcin Ociepa], will be submitted shortly to parliament, to the Sejm. We hope it will not find opponents in the Sejm, or if it does, they will be few in number - he continued.

14:03

Tusk:

"I've Had Enough of These Armchair Generals. This Must End for State Security."

- I welcomed with great satisfaction the words of the generals, with whom I have cooperated since the first hours of this Russian provocation, how crucial it was for them to feel the support and protection from the state, while simultaneously appreciating greatly that neither I, nor any of my ministers, nor any state official interfered in the decision-making process - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a government meeting.

- To be honest, I'm fed up with these thousands of armchair experts who have never truly had anything to do with war or the military, and yet everyone has an opinion on how the army should behave, when to shoot, who should inspect whom, and what equipment should be purchased. This must finally end, because the national interest and the security of the state demand it - he emphasized.

14:08

Tusk:

Government to Adopt Resolution Today for Submarine Procurement

- I am very pleased that today we are adopting a resolution that will lead to the purchase of submarines, which the Navy has been so eagerly awaiting. This is the 'Orka' program; [...] we are evaluating the offers that have been submitted – not all in the same way, but highly. We have a good selection to choose from, - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a government meeting.

14:15

"Completely Unacceptable Situation."Kaczyński: 'This Government Constantly Undertakes Actions Unacceptable by Law and Customs'

- This is a completely unacceptable situation [lack of information to the National Security Bureau], but please note that actions unacceptable from the perspective of law, but also customs, are undertaken by this government regularly, continuously, one could say. The entire history of this government is precisely a chronicle of such actions. Of course, in the current situation we find ourselves in today, a situation of almost direct confrontation with Russia, this is particularly dangerous, scandalous, and particularly, one could say, anti-state, but such is the government we have - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

14:21

"This Party's Entire Policy is Constant Manipulation."Kaczyński: 'I Read Tusk Decided to Be Anti-German'

- Today I read in 'Gazeta Wyborcza' that Prime Minister Tusk decided to be anti-German. Because globally there's a shift towards the right, and now one has to be anti-German. I wouldn't be surprised if it suddenly turns out he's anti-German, but not in deeds, only in words, because simply the entire policy of this formation consists of constant manipulation, deceiving society – what I've already said – that when necessary, they pretend to be us, and try to convince us that they are us - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

16:17

Szłapka:

Government Instructed Minister of National Defence to Prepare Recommendations on Submarine Acquisition

- I will perhaps start with information on the progress of work on acquiring new submarines under the codename Orka. The government has accepted the information and instructed the Minister of National Defence, in cooperation with the Minister of State Assets, the Minister of Finance, and the Minister of Economy, to prepare recommendations concerning the acquisition of submarines - said Adam Szłapka at a press conference.

16:25

Cabinet Approves Three Draft Laws, Szłapka Details Provisions

"The Cabinet also adopted three draft laws. The first law I wanted to mention is an amendment to the act on promoting and generating electricity from offshore wind farms. [...] The purpose of this act is to establish the best, most appropriate legal conditions to ensure these investments can be carried out efficiently," Adam Szłapka stated at a press conference.

"Another draft law is the bill on the creation of the Lower Odra Valley National Park. This is the first such law since 2001, the first new national park," he continued.

"The final draft law I would like to mention is an amendment to the Goods and Services Tax Act. This is a deregulation project, affecting only entrepreneurs importing goods, and its purpose is to make it easier for them to manage their financial settlements," he went on to say.

16:37

Szłapka:

Błaszczak Provided False Information, SkyControl Systems Operate 24 Hours a Day

- One such piece of false information was provided by Minister Błaszczak, speaking about the SkyControl system. This is also information that appeared in the media space and is untrue. The truth is, and here the Ministry of National Defence has unquestionably confirmed, that these systems, which Minister Błaszczak spoke about, are operational, carrying out their tasks, and are in use 24 hours a day - said Adam Szłapka at a press conference.

16:42

Government Priorities to be Unveiled: Szłapka Announces Timeline

- We are planning such a conference with Minister Berek on Friday - Adam Szłapka stated at a press conference when asked when the government plans to officially present the Council of Ministers' priorities.

16:48

Szłapka:

All Information Available to the Military Was Also Continuously Shared with the National Security Bureau

- All available information that the military possessed was continuously shared with the National Security Bureau as well, so it's not possible to say that any institution was omitted or that any institution had different or broader knowledge than what the military was conveying - Adam Szłapka stated at a press conference.

16:52

What Fell on the House in Wyryki? Kosiniak-Kamysz: It's a Task for the Prosecutor's Office, Gendarmerie, Services. They Must Clarify This

- This is a task for the prosecutor's office, for the gendarmerie, for all services. They must clarify this and will probably communicate all of it - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference in Orzysz, when asked if he could say what fell on the house in Wyryki: a drone or a missile.

As he pointed out: - There is no doubt that Russia is responsible for what happened in every locality, in every place where we found drone debris, where we found the effects of the Russian Federation's actions and operations. There is no doubt about that. This is, in my opinion, the most important information.

- Of course, the military must learn their lesson, they must improve their skills [...], but the perpetrator and full responsibility for all of this lies with the Russian Federation - he emphasized.

- Nevertheless, which is important information, the Polish state also cares for its citizens, and we will rebuild this house. I have instructed all subordinate services to provide all possible assistance - he added.

When asked again if it was a drone or a missile, he replied: - There are many details that are currently being analyzed. Certainly, nothing would have happened there without a drone. The drone is the perpetrator of all of this. If there had been no drone, nothing would have happened. Neither there, nor in the 21 places where airspace was crossed.

17:02

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

All Information I Receive, The President Also Receives

- All knowledge we have in this area, all information has been and is being continuously passed on to the National Security Bureau. A representative of the President participates in the Security Committee meetings [...] and there is no division where ministers and the government are on one side, and on the other, representatives of, for example, the President and other services - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference in Orzysz.

- I will always defend our commanders, stating that all this information which I receive, the President also receives. [...] State bodies are functioning, information is being conveyed. If something needs to be improved, then [...] we will always strive to be better day by day - he assured.

18:50

Sasin:

Ukraine Aid Regulations Went Too Far; Poland Must Stop Operating 'With a Full Heart for Foreigners'

- I don't believe that our payments of 800+ to all Ukrainians in Poland are what keeps them here, or that they would simply start leaving and seeking their place elsewhere if we stopped - said Jacek Sasin in "Popołudniowa rozmowa" on RMF FM.

- The time when Poland operated on the principle of "with a full heart for foreigners" or "with a full heart for Ukrainians" must come to an end - he continued.

- Perhaps we also approached it [aid to Ukrainians] with a bit of naive enthusiasm, but let's say, such was the mood of the moment – oh, one might put it that way – which is why, in many respects, these regulations, in my opinion, went too far, and certainly in this particular case, they also went too far - he continued.

19:05

Sasin on Russian Embassy: 'If we're talking about an act of war, let's not search for peacetime procedures.'

"It's always the case that no one ever does everything they could, because eight years pass quickly – especially those latter four years, when we had to face many crises. However, this issue [of the Russian embassy] is truly important," said Jacek Sasin on RMF FM.

"The situation has also changed, because two years have passed since we were out of power. The escalation of the Polish-Russian conflict is very apparent, especially after the latest drone attack. There is probably no longer any doubt that Russia is preparing a whole series of aggressive actions against Poland," he continued.

"Yes, it will help [to seize the land under the embassy], because in our conviction, this embassy is currently also a huge spy center, situated in immediate proximity to Poland's most important offices: the President's Office – the Belweder – and the Chancellery of the Prime Minister," he went on.

"There are state mechanisms that allow for the expropriation of owners, also on grounds of national security," he added, when asked how such a seizure would take place.

"And is it a common procedure for Russian drones to enter Polish territory?" he remarked, when pressed on the idea that this would be an unprecedented procedure.

"If we are talking about an act of war, then let's not waste time now searching for procedures that apply in peacetime. We must respond to what is happening in an absolutely decisive manner," he stated, after the host suggested that drones on Polish territory constituted an act of war.

Sasin:

I Cannot Imagine Germany Joining the EU with Hitler Monuments. The Same Applies to Ukrainians.

- I have often heard that the European Union is not merely an economic or any other kind of union, but also a Europe of values [...]. There is no place in Europe, in the European Union, for glorifying criminals and criminal ideologies, said Jacek Sasin on RMF FM.

- Can you imagine Germany joining the European Union if it were to erect monuments to Hitler and glorify Nazi ideology? I cannot imagine that, and consequently, the same applies to Ukrainians; the rules should be equal, he continued, when asked if Ukrainians should be barred from joining the EU unless they apologize for Volhynia.

Sasin Speaks Positively of Bosak:

Doesn't Attack PiS, More Moderate Than Mentzen.

- Krzysztof Bosak is a politician who speaks in a very balanced manner; above all, he does not attack Law and Justice, the leaders of Law and Justice, today. He rather polemicizes, but he doesn't attack, - said Jacek Sasin on RMF FM.

- We believe that if we are to build the foundations of some future political cooperation today, or even political cooperation right now, because it is also possible to cooperate in opposition and present joint projects, which would certainly be very good, then one should not call the leader of a party that is a potential ally, or even could be an ally in opposition today, a "political gangster." Yet, Sławomir Mentzen saw fit to express himself precisely in that way about the chairman of Law and Justice, - he continued.

- I have the impression that Deputy Speaker Bosak is significantly more moderate in his social views than Sławomir Mentzen, who perhaps emerges from the current that Janusz Korwin-Mikke once represented. So, it is, one might say, a different face, but a similar philosophy of state and society, - he added.

Sasin:

I Would Greatly Wish for a Single Polish Voice on Reparations, Unfortunately, I am a Pessimist

- For now [Germany on reparations] is saying "nein", and perhaps soon it will be a less harsh "nein". You know, no one readily and voluntarily agrees to such a matter, that's obvious. We didn't anticipate it would be an easy process, and from the outset, we didn't say we were demanding a one-time payment of this money - Jacek Sasin said on RMF FM.

- We are talking about a certain process, about initiating a certain process, in which, depending on how the parties agree, i.e., Poland and Germany, various forms of compensation for this money may occur - he continued.

- I would greatly wish for that, unfortunately, I am a pessimist here, because I believe that the current rulers, in their servility, meaning Tusk and Sikorski on this matter, have no inhibitions whatsoever in their servility towards Germany and will not stand by the Polish President on this issue, they will not speak with one voice - he continued, when asked if there was a chance for a single Polish voice on reparations.

- I am convinced that if we were united, spoke with one voice, and if Germany were aware that there is political agreement in Poland regarding our demand for reparations, the conversation would look completely different - he added.

"That Was the State of Knowledge Then": Sikorski on Bosacki's UN Security Council Remarks

- He [Marcin Bosacki], it seems, stated [at the UN Security Council forum] that Russian drones were aimed at Poland or at Polish homes. […] Everyone speaks eloquently and effectively, according to the knowledge they possess. And that was the state of knowledge at the time; that's what we had at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - said Radosław Sikorski in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- Everything that happened, including on the ground, is something for which the aggressor is responsible - he emphasized.

- You never know everything immediately. […] In truth, we still don't have full knowledge of what fell there. We will only have it officially once all investigations are completed - he stated.

- Minister Bosacki ensured that 50 countries supported Poland and eloquently presented the knowledge he had at the time - he added.

19:53

Sikorski Defends Bosacki:

He got 50 nations to back Poland and eloquently presented the knowledge he had then.

- This is truly unfair. Minister Bosacki got 50 countries to support Poland and eloquently presented the knowledge he had at the time - Radosław Sikorski said on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).

Sikorski on Trump's Letter to Nawrocki: 'A Courtesy Letter After a Visit Is Not News.'

- That surprises me too. This confirms one of my wife's observations: that in Poland there are more media outlets than actual news. A courtesy letter after a visit is hardly news - said Radosław Sikorski on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events), when asked about Donald Trump's letter to Karol Nawrocki.

- And we are being accused of this by a man who not only spoke about the government's stance on President Nawrocki's visit to the USA but also released it to the media - he continued.

20:08

Sikorski on Trump's Letter to Nawrocki:

It Traveled 10 Days from the White House to the State Department. And from the Polish Embassy to the President – 36 Hours.

"Literally, just before coming here, I received a note from Mr. Przydacz concerning the President's conversation from August 28, which was three weeks later. And as for this particular letter [from Donald Trump to Karol Nawrocki], it was signed on September 4 and traveled for 10 days from the White House to the Department of State. And from the Polish embassy to the Presidential Palace – 36 hours," said Radosław Sikorski on Polsat News' 'Gość Wydarzeń'.

20:12

Sikorski Addresses President Nawrocki's Advisors:

Gentlemen, Cold Compresses on Your Foreheads.

- This is some unhealthy agitation among the president's advisors, concerning everything related to the United States and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Gentlemen, cold compresses on your foreheads - said Radosław Sikorski on Polsat News' “Gość Wydarzeń,” commenting on the matter of Donald Trump's letter to Karol Nawrocki.

20:21

Sikorski Slams Bielan: 'He Boasted in Washington of Securing a White House Ban for a Prime Minister of Free Poland'

"Adam Bielan is the person who, as an MEP – and it's unclear on what grounds he actually participated in President Nawrocki's visit – then boasted in Washington that he had secured an entry ban to the White House for a Prime Minister of free Poland. That is not my definition of patriotism," Radosław Sikorski said on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń" (Events Guest).

"He actually worked hard on that," he added, responding to the host's remark that Bielan hadn't said he "arranged it."

"It's Worth Considering": Sikorski on Shooting Down Drones Over Ukraine

- This is a Ukrainian request, not a new one [for NATO to shoot down drones over its territory] […] The operation over Poland was an allied one, because our assets in this domain — whether radars, AWACS, or fighter jets — in this case involved assets from Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and Poland. So we would have to make an alliance decision - said Radosław Sikorski on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

- I personally believe that Polish territory must be protected. We ourselves see that even while protecting ourselves, objects and citizens on the ground can be endangered. So if the Ukrainians ask us to do this over their territory, when these Russian missiles or drones are already posing a threat to us, then I personally believe it's worth considering - he stated.

- For now, there is no enthusiasm [among European allies], but constant dripping wears away a stone - he added.

20:34

Szefernaker on Trump's Letter to Nawrocki:

It's a Courtesy Letter,

- First and foremost, I would like to say that the letter [from Donald Trump to Karol Nawrocki] is a courtesy. It is a matter of thanking for the joint discussions during President Nawrocki's visit to the USA. The letter also indicates good relations between the presidents, but it is an absolute scandal that those who govern today—who also held leadership positions in embassies under the PO government—first inform the public that the letter is reaching the president through them - stated Paweł Szefernaker on TV Republika.

20:35

Szefernaker:

'Absolute Scandal' that Information Reached Media Before President

- A fish rots from the head down, and if Donald Tusk as prime minister today manages via Twitter, if he truly governs through announcements, very often informing the public several times a day on various issues with unverified information that is disseminated despite lacking justification, then it eventually leads to subordinate officials, such as embassy staff, informing the public in the way it was announced overnight. It is an absolute scandal that such information appeared in the media before it reached the president - stated Paweł Szefernaker on TV Republika.

20:37

Szefernaker On The Letter Leak:

This Plays Into Their Hands, Because The Media Is Occupied With It.

- “Today, Civic Platform and Prime Minister Tusk face a problem because they are not implementing the program they campaigned on. Life for Poles is getting increasingly worse, and this government faces growing daily challenges. It's a coalition with no program, no vision, no philosophy of governance, and it tries to cover this up with various types of information, such as, for example, information concerning the leak of various topics to the media. This plays into their hands today, because there's talk of a letter going from the embassy in Washington to the Presidential Palace; in the meantime, the media and public opinion are preoccupied with this, instead of questioning them about what they are not delivering and how they are failing to govern,” - stated Paweł Szefernaker on TV Republika.

PiS Wants Russian Embassy Relocated. Sikorski: Even Their Good Ideas Are Executed Backwards

- As is typical with PiS, even if they have a good idea, the execution is backwards. Because a Sejm resolution, even if passed, is not the legal basis for carrying out these actions. [...] If the [resolution] bill is submitted, if it were adopted, that's essentially telling the government: you make it happen. So I ask Jarosław Kaczyński: on what legal basis? - said Radosław Sikorski on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń", when asked about PiS's idea concerning the expropriation of the Russian embassy in Warsaw and changing its location.

- For the expropriation of a foreign diplomatic mission, [mere political will] is not enough. [...] If they [PiS] want to help, it's not a resolution, but an act of parliament - he pointed out.
