Zandberg:

Minimum Wage Will Fall in Real Terms. I'm Surprised Dziemianowicz-Bąk Agreed to This

- There's a problem, because this means that the hourly rate, that the minimum wage – a wage received by over three million workers in Poland – will fall in real terms. Because we have projected inflation at a higher level than the increase in the minimum wage, and economic growth at a higher level than the increase in the minimum wage - said Adrian Zandberg in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti", when asked about the increase in the minimum wage to PLN 4806 gross and the hourly rate to PLN 31.40.

- To put it graphically: the government decided that three million workers earning the minimum wage will be poorer a year from now than they are today - he continued.

- I am very surprised at the politicians in this government, and especially at Minister Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, that she agreed to this, because the truth is that Minister Dziemianowicz-Bąk agreed for three million workers in Poland to have a lower wage a year from now than they do today - he went on.

Domański on War Tax and Benefit Suspension:

The Government Has No Such Plans

- No, the government has no such plans [for temporary suspension of social benefits and introduction of a war tax]. Discussions about 800+ are ongoing among commentators, and members of the Monetary Policy Council [Ludwik Kotecki] are also voicing their opinions, but our government is pursuing a growth strategy. We have the fastest-growing large economy in the EU, which is increasing budget revenues, allowing us to maintain and modernize the Polish army - stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

08:15

Domański on the Return of VAT Gangs:

This Statement Has No Basis.

- This is a statement that has no basis [regarding the return of VAT gangs], because as I said, the VAT gap has clearly decreased in 2024 compared to 2023. In 2023, it was over 13%, and in 2024 it fell below 7%. So this shows that Mr. Morawiecki's claim is unfounded and has no factual support - stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

08:17

Zandberg:

Nowa Lewica Holds Strong Cards in Sejm Marshal Race, Puzzled They Don't Use Them for Minimum Wage

- Nowa Lewica finds itself in a comfortable position because the parliamentary majority depends on their votes, and the passage of the budget and laws relies on their votes. Therefore, they hold very strong cards, and as we know, they often speak about these cards in matters such as the fight for the Sejm Marshal's position - said Adrian Zandberg on Polsat News.

- I am surprised that they are not using these strong cards in a matter that concerns three million employees. [...] The government has decided to raise the minimum hourly wage by 90 groszy. This is not serious, considering what will happen with the cost of living - he continued.

08:18

Domański on Inflation:

It will remain around...

- We believe that in the coming months, inflation will remain around 3% - stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

08:19

Domański:

Poland Cannot Skimp on Security

- Poland cannot afford to skimp on security. That is point one. Point two – we must carefully scrutinize the funds being spent so that they are expended effectively and, for me as the minister responsible for the economy, so that they support the Polish defense industry. This is, I believe, absolutely obvious to everyone – stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

08:23

Zandberg:

Poland Can Decide on Shorter Working Hours Without Pilot Programs

- I believe that in Poland, we can decide on shortening working hours without using tools like pilot programs, and the reason is very simple. Because this is not something we have never done in Poland; we have shortened working hours in Poland several times - said Adrian Zandberg in Polsat News.

- We know how to do it legally, we know what its economic consequences are; such decisions were made both during the communist era (PRL) and modifications to working hours also occurred after 1989 - he continued.

- Personally, I believe that institutions like pilot programs are needed when we introduce something into our legal or economic system that has not been there before, for example, if we were to introduce a guarantee of employment in Poland or some innovative solutions regarding the fight against homelessness - he went on to say.

- The problem I see here is that I know there is no agreement among the parties currently in this government to adopt a reduction in working hours, and I know this because we heard it directly from these parties during negotiations concerning the formation of the government. Therefore, spending tens of millions of zlotys on a pilot program will not change much - he added.

08:33

Higher Tax on Banks? Zandberg: The Ministry of Finance's Version Will Yield Significantly Less Revenue for the Budget Than Razem's Proposal

- I believe this [increase in CIT tax on banks] is unreasonable because in the version currently proposed by the Ministry of Finance, it will bring in significantly less revenue for the budget than the one proposed by Razem, and it will also be easier for banks to reduce their obligations to the state - said Adrian Zandberg on Polsat News.

- One issue we proposed concerned taxing extraordinary profits, I'm referring to the banking sector, but there were several proposals we put on the table, and none of them were met with enthusiasm from the government side - he continued.

08:42

Zandberg on Cooperation between China, India, and Russia, and the Necessity of Producing Medicines in Poland:

A Red Alarm Signal.

- Unfortunately, we talk very little about how easily Poland can be destabilized economically or socially. Today, we do not produce a huge portion of the medicines that millions of Poles use daily in Poland. They are sometimes tableted in Poland, but the active substances [...] we import them in large part from two countries, namely China and India - said Adrian Zandberg on Polsat News.

- This tightening of cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation between India, China, and also Russia, should be a truly red alarm signal for us. We should immediately launch a large investment program when it comes to pharmaceutical factories, and specifically factories for active substances - he continued.

08:48

Zandberg:

I wish this farce with investigative committees would end. Let's finally focus on what's serious

- The court will make a decision [regarding summoning Ziobro before the investigative committee]. Frankly, I would wish for this, I apologize, but this farce with committees, with people coming and not coming to them, to finally end - said Adrian Zandberg in Polsat News.

- We really have more important things to deal with in Poland, given the tense economic, social, and international situation, than to discuss Mr. Minister Ziobro's mishaps for the umpteenth time, so let's finally focus on what's serious - he continued.

09:04

Wipler:

Demanding Reparations from Germany is a Difficult Process and Not Guaranteed to Succeed

- I don't think anything will happen [after Karol Nawrocki's visit to Berlin]. Demanding reparations for the destruction caused by Germany in Poland during World War II is a very long-term process. It requires consistency on our part and, at some point, a change in political direction in Germany. We are currently very far from that. […] Overall, I think it is a very difficult process and it is not guaranteed to succeed - said Przemysław Wipler in RMF FM's "Morning Conversation."

09:40

Wipler:

Kaczyński's Attacks Are Boosting Public Sympathy for Mentzen

- After several months of these critical exchanges [with PiS], Sławomir Mentzen is the second most trusted politician among Poles, after Karol Nawrocki. Jarosław Kaczyński's attacks significantly increase the sympathy of a large part of the public for Sławomir Mentzen and show that he is a decent guy, precisely because he is being so sharply attacked by Jarosław Kaczyński - said Przemysław Wipler on RMF FM's “Poranna rozmowa” (Morning Talk).

- The fact is that Konfederacja (Confederation) is growing, and trust in Sławomir Mentzen, who is being attacked by Jarosław Kaczyński, is also growing. The same cannot be said about trust in Jarosław Kaczyński - he added.

11:32

Ziobro on Żurek's Conduct:

We are Dealing with the Actions of a Mafia State.

- The Minister of Justice, while himself admitting to openly breaking existing law, a statute, or even multiple statutes, has dismissed court presidents and vice-presidents despite the opposition of numerous court collegia. These collegia are, by law, authorized to express opinions binding on the minister regarding whether a given president or vice-president can be dismissed or not, - stated Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference.

- When these opinions were unfavorable to him in many cases, he decided to openly violate existing legislation and simply do as he pleased. This is, after all, like battering laws with a crowbar, and also the principles of the Constitution, which states that authority and public administration bodies can only act within the limits and on the basis of the law. This is a criminal act, not just an unlawful one. We are dealing here with a blatant, and certainly not the first, crime, - he continued.

- Today, we are dealing - these are strong words, and I say this as a former Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General - with the actions of a mafia state that has little in common with a civilized legal order or with the rules of the game that a democratic state ruled by law should adhere to, - said the former minister.

11:56

"Judges Better Think Twice." Ziobro: Extraordinary Measures Will Have to Be Taken

- Given what these individuals are doing today to the justice system for their own party, political, ideological, or various motivations, this colossal disorganization will necessitate extraordinary legislative changes, as well as actions concerning specific judges who choose to partake in this process. This includes questioning the fundamental principles of the Polish legal order, challenging other judges appointed by the President, disputing constitutional state bodies like the Constitutional Tribunal, or operating within a state of pure lawlessness, epitomized by the refusal to obey laws by individuals who are, in fact, servants of these very laws. Ministers are obedient executors of the laws that bind them, and they are permitted to act only within the confines of those laws - stated Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference.

- This will truly necessitate far-reaching changes, and judges had better reflect on this. If they consider, and I trust that the majority of them are thinking individuals, what this will lead to – both personally and concerning their legal standing – and I am not referring to the regulations currently in force, but rather to the necessity of extraordinary changes to protect the interests of Poles, millions of Poles, from the ongoing anarchy. Extraordinary measures will have to be taken to restore the legal order and to define the principles and possibilities for individuals operating within the judiciary - he continued.

11:57

Nawrocki in Berlin: Polish President's Meeting with German Chancellor Underway

The Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland has published a photo from the meeting of President Karol Nawrocki with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

Earlier, President Nawrocki met with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

13:22

Sikorski on Nawrocki: 'He achieved a moral victory in Berlin regarding reparations.'

- "On the matter of reparations, the President achieved a moral victory in Berlin. Regarding the Mercosur-EU agreement, we also cautioned during the Cabinet Council that there was no chance for a blocking minority. Foreign policy is harder than it seems," Radosław Sikorski wrote on social media.

14:22

Tusk:

It's Crucial the World Sees NATO and Poland's Preparedness for Various Scenarios

- [The exercises] are a reaction and a firm response to the maneuvers taking place beyond Poland's eastern border, the Zapad exercises involving Russian and Belarusian troops. It is very important in these difficult, critical times for the world to see how NATO and Poland are prepared for various scenarios and various threats. Today, we are here in Ustka, where such unprecedented exercises will take place; there will be the first live-fire, combat-like shooting of Patriot missiles, and HIMARS systems will also be in use - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a statement to the media at the Central Air Force Training Ground in Ustka.

14:22

Przydacz Responds to Sikorski: 'It would be easier if he began any actions to pursue Poland's national interest'

- It takes a remarkable lack of understanding of politics, including foreign policy, to believe that such long-standing and difficult matters can be resolved with a single meeting. The Minister's naivety is astonishing - wrote Marcin Przydacz on platform X, commenting on Radosław Sikorski's post.

- It would be much easier if Poland's Foreign Minister did not assume the role of commentator and critic, but instead initiated any actions to pursue Poland's national interest - stated the head of the Presidential Bureau of International Policy.

14:30

Tusk:

Exercises are defensive and a response to aggressive maneuvers across the border

- "These exercises, just like the entire North Atlantic Alliance, are defensive in nature and are a response to aggressive maneuvers across the border. There is no doubt about that. It is very important for us that both potential adversaries and all allies see that we are prepared for action, even at the highest level of technical complexity," stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a media briefing at the Central Air Force Training Ground in Ustka.

14:32

Tusk Announces Government Resolution on Orka Program

- I also want to inform you that tomorrow, at the Prime Minister's initiative, the government will make a decision to launch the Orka program. We have waited a long time for this. Tomorrow, a government resolution will be adopted that commits us to purchase submarines by the end of this year - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a media statement at the Central Air Force Training Ground in Ustka.

14:34

Nawrocki on Berlin Talks: 'Issues that Unite Us, and Poland's Expectations of Germany'

President Karol Nawrocki concluded his visit to Berlin, during which he spoke with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Friedrich Merz

- We discussed regional security challenges, the future of the European Union, the prospects for Polish-German relations, and reparations for the wrongs inflicted upon Poland during World War II - wrote the president.

- I clearly emphasized both the issues that unite us, as well as Poland's expectations of the German side - stated Nawrocki.

14:37

"The Information Wasn't Entirely Accurate": Tusk on the Drone Incident

- As you know, there was this drone incident. In the evening, we received information from the police about the apprehension, neutralization of the drone, and detention of citizens. The information was not entirely accurate. As you already know, we reported this in the morning: a Ukrainian citizen and a Belarusian citizen were detained. The police are continuing their investigation, and this incident will be explained in every dimension, so as to rule out all possible interpretations and to learn the truth about what was the source of the unintended or intended provocation involving the drone over government and presidential buildings - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a media statement at the Central Air Force Training Ground in Ustka.

14:42

President Demands Immediate Explanation from Government. BBN: No Tolerance for Concealing Information

Referring to reports by „Rzeczpospolita”, we inform that the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, expects the Government to immediately explain the incident in the town of Wyryki – the BBN (National Security Bureau) announced on social media.

"It is the Government's responsibility to utilize all tools and institutions to clarify this matter as quickly as possible.

There is no consent for concealing information. In the face of disinformation and hybrid warfare, messages conveyed to Poles must be verified and confirmed.

At the same time, the President emphasizes that he, as well as the BBN, was not informed on this matter, and the issue was not presented and clarified at the National Security Council."

14:43

Kosiniak-Kamysz on military exercises:

They are to demonstrate operational and integration capabilities, and lead to full troop certification.

- Live-fire exercises, for the first time in Poland's history, on Polish soil with Patriot systems; we are building a multi-layered air defense. We are starting with the very short-range program, Pilica+, then the Narew program, and finally the Wisła program - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in a statement to the media at the Central Air Force Training Ground in Ustka.

- A very important element was the purchase last year of the IBCS system, a system that serves as the operational brain of the entire air defense, it is integrated, and Poland is currently the only user of this system outside of the United States - he continued.

- Today's exercises are meant to demonstrate capabilities for operation and integration, but also lead to the full certification of troops responsible for the air defense of the Polish state. [...] Today marks a milestone in incorporating additional units of equipment into operational capabilities, including both HIMARS and Chunmo launchers, which will soon be fully operational with the Polish Army - he went on to say.

14:52

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Exercises Won't Disrupt Other Military Units' Schedules

- All units are involved, but this does not change the operations we are conducting. I would like to assure you that Operation Secure Podlasie, which involves approximately 5,000 soldiers every day, the operation related to security in the Baltic Sea, Secure Bay, as well as Baltic Sentry, an allied operation [...]. Operation Eastern Dawn [...] all these operations are constantly being conducted - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in a statement to the media at the Central Air Force Training Ground in Ustka.

- The exercises Iron Defender and Autumn Fire, which are being carried out today in Ustka, do not disrupt the operational schedule of all other military units - he continued.

14:59

"So No One Has Any Doubt." Kosiniak-Kamysz: Russia Is Responsible for Drones Sent to Poland and All Consequences of Actions in Ukraine

- We also want to clearly and explicitly address the threats coming from one direction, so that no one here has any doubt. The global discussion regarding drones that have violated Polish, Romanian, and not so long ago, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian airspace, regarding planes that violate airspace over the Baltic Sea, over our territorial waters and those of our allies, with many such violations also occurring in the airspace over Scandinavian countries – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in a statement to the media at the Central Air Force Training Ground in Ustka.

- All these actions are being conducted from one direction. It is the Russian Federation that is responsible for the drones sent to Poland a week ago, and it is the Russian Federation that bears full responsibility for all the consequences caused by its actions in Ukraine and in the surrounding area, including in NATO allied countries – he continued.

15:04

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

We Will Respond Decisively to Provocations

- We will respond very decisively to all types of provocations, both we and our allies. The Joint Forces Command in Brunssum is being informed of everything, and we are in constant contact with NATO headquarters, with the Commander-in-Chief General Grynkiewicz, as well as with the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Mark Rutte - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in a media statement at the Central Air Force Training Ground in Ustka.

15:42

Błaszczak:

Concealing Information on Wyryki House Damage Causes Is Disgraceful for the Government

"Concealing from President Nawrocki and the public information about the causes of damage to the house in Wyryki is disgraceful for the government. The very administration that talks so much about fighting disinformation is itself spreading disinformation," Mariusz Błaszczak wrote on X.

15:47

Found Near Senate; Sejm Chancellery Releases Details:

Unmanned Flying Object

"On Tuesday morning, officers of the Marshal's Guard spotted a model-type unmanned aerial object lying behind the Senate, in a park area outside the parliamentary complex. No entry of this object into the airspace above the parliament was recorded," the Chancellery of the Sejm announced on X.

"The appropriate services were immediately notified. Marshal's Guard officers, together with the police, secured the area and checked the found object for explosive threats. After determining there was no threat, the object was secured for further proceedings," the statement read.

16:32

"Hands off Polish soldiers." Tusk: All responsibility for damage to the house in Wyryki falls on Russia

- All responsibility for the damage to the house in Wyryki falls on the perpetrators of the drone provocation, i.e. Russia. All circumstances of the incident will be communicated to the public, the government, and the president by the relevant services after the investigation is concluded. Hands off Polish soldiers - wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on the X portal.

16:41

Bosak on the Wyryki House Damage Incident:

The Best Way to Destroy Remaining Trust and Open Poles to Conspiracy Theories.

"The best way to destroy the remnants of trust in Poland and open Poles to all sorts of conspiracy theories and disinformation is to lie, manipulate, and hide facts in such sensitive matters," Krzysztof Bosak wrote on X, commenting on reports by „Rzeczpospolita”.

16:58

PiS Deputy Spokesperson: Tusk's Government Chose to Spread Fake News, Discrediting Us in the Eyes of Allies

"Of the entire range of arguments we could have presented at the UN Security Council to hit the Russians, Tusk's government decided to spread a fake news story that discredits us in the eyes of our allies and plays into the hands of Kremlin propaganda," Mateusz Kurzejewski wrote on X.

18:06

"Gambling with Poland's Security." Morawiecki: Government Misled Not Only the President, But Also the Entire Society on the Rocket Issue

- When Russian drones flew over Poland, we knew that unity in the face of external aggression was paramount. Today, that unity and public trust lie in ruins, shattered by lies about the circumstances of the drone's downing - Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on social media.

- The government regarding the rocket misled not only President Nawrocki, but also the entire society. This is no longer mere incompetence – this is gambling with Poland's security! What else are you hiding from Poles, what have you concealed? - he emphasized.

18:43

President Nawrocki's Proposal:

Germany Could Start Paying Reparations by Building the Polish Military's Strength.

- For me, it was also an opportunity to speak about starting new discussions on the issue of reparations, which are very important for Polish men and women. I am the voice of Poles, and this matter garners the interest of the Polish nation. I am also a proponent of Germany paying reparations to Poland - stated President Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in Paris.

- I suggested that we could move towards a solution for financing the Polish defense industry and military capabilities, which, on the one hand, would certainly be the beginning of a long process. This is not yet a ready-made formula, but it is a proposal that, on the one hand, Germany could begin paying reparations by building the strength of the Polish military, its armed potential, and simultaneously strengthening what we all care about, namely NATO's eastern flank - the president continued.

18:48

Nawrocki on Reparations: 'After Meetings in Berlin, I Consider This Discussion Open'

"I am convinced that this discussion and the re-opening of the topic of reparations for Poland will not negatively affect good relations with Germany; after these talks, I am confident it will not impact our trade relations, economic relations, or our relations in international forums," said President Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in Paris.

"However, this is an issue that is important to me as the Polish president, and it is important to Poles. We should open this discussion, and I consider it open after these two meetings in Berlin," he stated.

18:54

Nawrocki Appeals for Unity on Reparations:

Then They Would Be Achievable.

- I also have a strong impression - and I want to state this with full responsibility - that if there were a synergy of political views and all political circles in Poland on this issue [reparations from Germany], a unity of Poles in fulfilling our obligations regarding the issue of reparations, then I assume that they would be achievable, in dialogue with Germany. Therefore, I appeal for such unity to all political and parliamentary circles, - said President Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in Paris.

- After these discussions, I have a deep conviction that we, Poles, should speak with one voice on this issue. This is our obligation, - he stated.

18:55

President Nawrocki on Damage to a House in Wyryki:

I Expect Full Information from the Prime Minister and the Polish Government.

- I find it difficult to comment on the Prime Minister's tweet. We should get used to discussing important matters in serious forums. I consider myself exempt from commenting on the tweet. I am being informed about this situation by my colleagues today, however, I must admit that I am also concerned, because neither I nor the BBN (National Security Bureau), relying on the text of “Rzeczpospolita” – as I am referring solely to that text – know the truth as of today. But if you ask me whether the President of the Republic of Poland received information on this matter or whether the BBN received information on this matter, that has not happened. Therefore, immediately after landing, I expect full information on this matter from the Prime Minister and the Polish government - stated President Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in Berlin.

19:15

Nawrocki:

'I learned about the drone over the Belweder Palace from social media'

- Given the fact that yesterday I learned from social media that a drone flew over the building where my family resides, it is not only for this reason that I consider this communication unhealthy and and believe it should shift to serious communications or relations between the government, interested parties, the President, and BBN - said President Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in Paris.

19:35

Bosacki:

Russia Responsible for All Damages

- One thing is certain. Russia is responsible for what happened across Poland on the night of September 9th to 10th, including all the damages, such as to the house in Wyryki. Because it was Russia that, in a planned and deliberate manner, sent at least 19 military drones, or drones intended to appear military, over Polish territory for 7 hours that night. It doesn't matter whether we caused any damage in defense or not. What's important is that none of this would have happened had it not been for Russia's aggression on Polish territory - stated Marcin Bosacki on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach."

20:16

Cenckiewicz Declares No Further Polemics for Poland's Good and the Gravity of the Situation:

Russia Is to Blame, But Truth Is Our Weapon!

- For the good of Poland and the gravity of the situation, there will be no further polemics. Yes, Russia is to blame, but truth is our weapon in the fight against it! - wrote Sławomir Cenckiewicz on social media.

20:38

Czarzasty:

Government Not Hiding Information; I'd Advise the President to Cooperate More Closely with the National Security Bureau

"The government is not hiding information [...]. General Bryś was informed about this, and if General Bryś was informed, then consequently, the Presidential Palace was also informed," said Włodzimierz Czarzasty in an interview with Monika Olejnik on "Kropka nad i" TVN24.

"Perhaps General Bryś [...] did not inform Mr. Cenckiewicz. Maybe he did well, because Mr. Cenckiewicz does not have the right to access classified information," he continued.

"I would quite calmly advise President Nawrocki closer cooperation with the National Security Bureau, where he has his chief and deputy chief," he added.

"If Kosiniak states that General Bryś was informed, then I advise General Bryś to inform his chief, be it one, two, or three. If someone doesn't have access to classified information, they shouldn't be the head of the BBN, and if they need to be bypassed, then the President should be informed, that's all," he concluded.

20:40

Czarzasty:

PiS and Konfederacja Dislike the Government Providing a Sense of Security

- The government is not concealing information. Things will happen. What's important is that people are not dying, and we are able to secure that, because we are indeed capable of it. It's important that we mobilize troops at the right time. It's important that all NATO states stand with Poland, especially those states that are both in NATO and the European Union - Włodzimierz Czarzasty said on TVN24.

- A sense of security is important. We provide that sense of security. I think that PiS and Konfederacja dislike the government providing this sense of security. Gentlemen, you may not like it, but we will pursue such a policy, we will be transparent; sometimes something will be delayed by two or three days, and if anything is delayed, I know it wasn't done on purpose; if anything was done too late, I apologize - he continued.

20:41

Nawrocki on French TV: 'I Hope We Create a Conservative Europe'; 'Europe is Slowly Waking Up to What Has Been Destroying It Socially'

“I hope we create a conservative Europe. What do I envision under this slogan? A Europe that will not repeat mistakes concerning the Green Deal, in the area of migration policy; a Europe that is a Europe of homelands – meaning a coherent economic, financial, and border entity, yet with the diversity, identity, and heritage of different countries. Such were the beginnings of Europe. I think that, in essence, Europe is slowly waking up and must wake up in the context of what has so far been destroying Europe in social matters. I think that in many regards, Western European states recognize these things that have led to a certain crisis, and Poland and Central European countries are in the fortunate situation that they do not have to make these mistakes,” said President Karol Nawrocki in an interview with French television LCI.

20:55

"It didn't work out with Trump, he didn't secure reparations."Czarzasty: The President's policy got a reality check

- I think that President Nawrocki recently received – I'm not happy about it, but it's a kind of reality check for his policy and his way of thinking about it. He went to the United States and returned victorious – and let me be clear, I commend what he did in the United States – and he believed that President Trump, because of this, moved heaven and earth for Poland," Włodzimierz Czarzasty said on TVN24.

- He did not move heaven and earth, because regarding the first drones, he generally wondered whether those drones were Russian or not, whether by mistake or not by mistake. Now he went to the German President. He learned what real politics looks like. He learned that not everything in politics can be resolved with a snap of the fingers [finger snap]; patience is also needed," he continued.

- If I were to be malicious, and I'm not, I would say to the President: Mr. President, things didn't really work out for you with Trump, and you didn't secure reparations in Germany. I won't be malicious, because I knew this. Not because I'm any smarter, but simply because I'm not naive," he went on.

20:57

Błaszczak writes of the 'cowardice of the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.':

They lack the courage to take responsibility like real men.

- "Incredible hypocrisy and cowardice of both the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense, who lack the courage to take responsibility, as real men should do," Mariusz Błaszczak wrote on platform X.

- "It wasn't the soldiers, but the government that sent Deputy Minister Bosacki to embarrass Poland at the UN. It wasn't the soldiers, but the government that was in possession of the prosecutor's findings regarding what happened in Wyryki. It wasn't the soldiers, but the government that hid the truth from the President and the National Security Bureau (BBN)," he pointed out.

As he stated: - "Now Tusk, Kosiniak-Kamysz, and Sikorski are burying their heads in the sand and trying to shift the blame for having – either deliberately or due to their own incompetence – given Putin an argument to undermine their responsibility for the drone attack. It was the government that gave the Kremlin such a gift."

- "Admit your disgrace. None of us blames the soldiers. During the debate, in my opening remarks, I thanked the operational commander and the pilots who defended Poland on September 10th. Other politicians from Law and Justice (PiS) behaved in the same way," concluded the deputy head of PiS.

21:05

Czarzasty:

I Don't Know if I'll Become Sejm Marshal

"I don't suppose this is the most important issue for Poles right now. For me, it's important only to the extent that it's written in the coalition agreement, and it is. I don't know of any party—and four parties signed this coalition agreement—that wants to break it," said Włodzimierz Czarzasty on TVN24, when asked if he was convinced he would become Sejm Marshal.

"Calm and common sense are also needed in this matter. I don't know if I will become marshal or not, but if I do, I will certainly bring a great deal of calm, common sense, and perspective in these times. If I don't get [this position], I will also provide a lot of common sense, because that's simply what's needed right now," he continued.

Hołownia to Be Questioned Over Coup Remarks, I Hope for Wise Explanations

- It matters little what I think; he will be questioned. Because when there's a disclosure that there was an attempted coup, in every country, the prosecution should initiate proceedings ex officio, and they have initiated proceedings in this matter. I hope that my very close acquaintance, Speaker Hołownia, will provide appropriate and hopefully wise explanations in this regard - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty on TVN24, when asked if he believes Szymon Hołownia should be questioned by the prosecution in connection with his statement about a coup d'état.
