Kołodziejczak:

Nawrocki Should Not Sign the Wind Farm Bill

[Karol Nawrocki] should not sign it [the wind farm bill]. Freezing energy prices is one thing, and that's fine, but the wind farm bill is another. I live among wind turbines, and I wouldn't wish for anyone to live among power factories. It's easy to talk about this from the perspective of a big city, but let's not blur the distinction between city and countryside, between industrial rural areas. The countryside should remain the countryside – stated Michał Kołodziejczak in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on 'Graffiti' on Polsat News.

Minister Motyka should go live among wind turbines, 500 meters from a wind turbine on each side; let him build three or four for himself and live there. I wish him that if he encourages Poles to do it – he continued.

The 'Deficit of Dread' Is a Fact: Morawiecki Publishes Clip

The deficit of dread is a fact. For six months, we've been losing almost 8,000 PLN per second on average. After 7 months of this year, the budget deficit already stands at 156 billion PLN. The inept government of the December 13th coalition is plunging us into debt at an alarming rate. We face the threat of exceeding the constitutional threshold of 60% debt to GDP. This is not an abstraction; once crossed, Poland will lose credibility, investors will turn away, and the cost of debt servicing will skyrocket — says the narrator in a new clip published on social media by Mateusz Morawiecki.

Poles will, of course, pay for this with higher taxes, inflation, and further sacrifices. And the government? Instead of finally getting to grips with public finance repair, it offers us a festival of diversionary topics, yet the debt is growing faster than ever. This is a ticking time bomb, and we know how to defuse it. If you can't, then step aside — the narrator continues.

Mroczek Announces Statement on Lublin Region Explosion:

No Danger to Residents.

– Our services are working there, both the police and the ABW (Internal Security Agency). We are cooperating with other state services, with the military. I confirm the event itself, but its detailed description will be presented today in a statement – said Czesław Mroczek in PR1's "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day), when asked about an unidentified object that fell and exploded overnight in a cornfield in Łuków County, Lublin Voivodeship.

– Services are working there, and at this moment, I simply don't have information because it has not yet been determined exactly what we were dealing with. [...] There is, of course, no danger at this moment for nearby residents – assured the deputy head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA).

– At this moment, there are no sufficient grounds or evidence [that it was a missile]. An investigation is currently underway [...], experts are working, and we will, of course, provide information to the public – he stated.

– There are no casualties in connection with this incident – he added.

Błaszczak:

The Rulers Promised a Return to the Weimar Triangle – What's Happening with It?

– Today, those who promised golden mountains are in power. For example, they promised a return to the format between Poland, Germany, and France, didn't they? And what's happening with this Weimar Triangle? Has this Weimar Triangle convened, or hasn't it? And they said we would be so important in these matters, but we are not, because Donald Tusk is a terrible prime minister – said Mariusz Błaszczak on „Poranek Wnet”.

08:54

Błaszczak:

Ministry of National Defense Will Go Bankrupt Within 3-4 Years if Nothing Changes

– I accessed correspondence between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of National Defense, from which it clearly emerges that the Minister of Finance obliges the Minister of National Defense to ensure that financial obligations incurred under the Armed Forces Support Fund […] are to be repaid exclusively from the budget of the Ministry of National Defense, – Mariusz Błaszczak said on Radio Wnet.

– This means, a simple simulation is enough to show that if nothing changes, then within 3-4 years the MoND will go bankrupt, because the obligations will be higher than the budget of the Ministry of National Defense, – he continued.

09:04

Błaszczak:

Hołownia Unlikely to Be Suitable for a Caretaker Government

– Of course, a constructive vote of no confidence would then have to take place. Besides the Prime Minister, there's also the matter of staffing individual ministries, and an agreement on a minimum program, – Mariusz Błaszczak said on Radio Wnet, when asked if he would raise his hand to replace Tusk with Hołownia.

– Such a government, a caretaker one, of course, should deal with administration and state affairs until the elections, because it is always the nation that decides who holds power, so it's a very complicated process, – he continued.

– I believe that Szymon Hołownia, the Speaker of the Sejm, is rather unsuitable for a caretaker government, – he went on, asked about a scenario where Szymon Hołownia, as Prime Minister, would conduct early elections.

– I think so. [...] As for who will be the Speaker of the Sejm from December, that depends on the majority, but I acknowledge that Speaker Hołownia's beginnings were weak. However, I appreciate that he did not succumb to the pressure from those who wanted to challenge the result of the presidential elections, – he added, when asked if Hołownia was suitable as Speaker of the Sejm until the end of the term.

Migration Pact Referendum: Błaszczak Announces Project Submission in Autumn

– This autumn, we will submit such a project. There are signatures, yes, there are signatures, but I very much ask that there be even more signatures, why? So that those who govern Poland today, the December 13th coalition, cannot throw these signatures into a shredder. There must be a very, very large number of these signatures – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Wnet, asked about the collection of signatures for the motion for a referendum on the migration pact.

– No [there is no shortage of signatures], because that is a threshold of 500,000; however, we want to collect many, many more signatures, and so we will launch another offensive, a signature collection drive, when the holidays are over – he continued.

– Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński announced a demonstration; we want to organize such a demonstration on October 11th this year, and then I assume we will submit the project with a large number of signatures – he added.

Brzezinski Counsels Nawrocki:

No Embrace if He Raises Irritating and Antagonizing Issues for Americans, Like the Digital Tax,

Planning for this meeting [between President Trump and President Nawrocki] should begin now, not on the day of the meeting. Perhaps they will embrace at the end of the meeting. However, if he raises issues that are irritating and antagonizing to Americans, it won't lead to an embrace. Again, I'm talking about the digital services tax. Currently, this is a bad idea – stated Mark Brzezinski in an interview with Onet.

Says Sawicki on Abortion and Civil Partnership Bills:

Full Freedom on Ideological and Religious Matters in PSL,

Let me put it this way, Mr. Editor, as a long-time, experienced PSL member, I am a little surprised, so to speak, by this topic resurfacing again. Firstly, this is not part of the Polish People's Party's agenda, so I don't understand the activity of my younger colleagues on this matter. Secondly, it is clear from the Polish People's Party's statute and its 130-year history that on ideological and religious matters, there is complete freedom within the Polish People's Party. Therefore, I am somewhat surprised when I hear my leaders, both Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz and Marshal Zgorzelski, attempting to speak on behalf of the Polish People's Party on these issues – stated Marek Sawicki on the '24 Questions' program on PR24, when asked about PSL's support for bills concerning so-called ideological issues.

I want to emphasize quite clearly that my leaders should be aware that they are bound by the Polish People's Party's statute. There is a party congress in November. If, at the congress in November, they change the statutory provisions and introduce party discipline on ideological or religious matters, then, of course, MP Sawicki will also comply with that – he continued.

"Time to Shed the Shorts and Don Suits": Sawicki on the President's Recent Conduct

Well, I'd say the Chancellery supposedly has some experienced people and some new ones. As Prime Minister Donald Tusk aptly put it yesterday: "first cats over the fence" – they're still learning the ropes. The Chancellery is still learning. It seems to me that when one takes on the most important office in the state, the office of the head of state, it's not a time for learning, but a time for professional action, and that professionalism is lacking. Because if, just to provoke, for fun, one tries to flood the Sejm with draft laws for which there are no prepared presumed regulatory effects and financing, well, then we have to clearly state that we're playing a game of cat and mouse. That is, the cat chases the mouse in such a way as not to catch it – stated Marek Sawicki in the program "24 Pytania" on PR24, when asked about the recent activities of the president and his chancellery.

So it's high time for the President's Chancellery to engage in serious politics and serious matters. It should truly treat the state seriously, and not play at harassing those currently in power and preparing a place for its political circles in two years' time, because it will simply lose by doing so […] So, Mr. President, if you want to be, so to speak, a heavyweight contender, a statesman, then certain matters are simply inappropriate to pursue – he continued.

I, however, attribute all of this to the holiday season. And frankly, the newly forming office, the forming chancellery of the President, has forgotten that holding office is not a holiday, that it's time to take off the shorts and put on suits and treat matters seriously – concluded Marek Sawicki.

Sawicki Announces PSL's Legislative Offensive

A month ago, we signed an agreement with the Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs. In 2023, we ran in the elections as the party of entrepreneurs, and therefore, certain things need to be accelerated now. […] Currently, however, we have two serious projects prepared, which we will present in September. This is a project concerning healthcare reform, but also a very important project related to personal income tax, where we want to regulate issues concerning the tax-free allowance in a single act, specifically Prime Minister Donald Tusk's promise of 60,000, but we want to spread this over a three-year period. Furthermore, in this project, we are also preparing provisions regarding tax-free pensions, as this was our flagship point in the 2023 election campaign – stated Marek Sawicki on PR24's program „24 pytania” (24 Questions), when asked about PSL's 'legislative offensive.'

I also remind you that we will address family income tax. In my opinion, and also in the opinion of experts from the Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs, this tax-free allowance, this family income tax, should be a multiplier of the number of family members times the tax-free allowance. So, if it is 30,000 today, a family with three children should have a tax-free allowance of 150,000. If it becomes 60,000, it will be 300,000, so this should be taken into account. Furthermore, the provision recently mentioned by Chairman Kosiniak-Kamysz, the Deputy Prime Minister, concerning 800+ will also be included in this, so that 800+ covers those families that fall within the family income tax bracket. […] This is related to income tax settlement, and thus linked to professional activity – he continued.

Our current GDP is already nearly a trillion dollars. If we convert that to our zlotys, it's over 4 trillion zlotys. A trillion dollars, over 4 trillion zlotys. And if reports published annually indicate that approximately 18-18.2% of economic turnover in the Polish economy constitutes the grey zone, then sealing just 1/3 of this fully covers the needs for the tax-free allowance. Therefore, it's high time to also address such simplifications and solutions, which entrepreneurs have prepared, so that from next year, by tightening economic turnover, the state budget can have additional revenues to fulfill these commitments, to which, so to speak, all coalition partners have committed, including the Prime Minister and the Polish People's Party – concluded Sawicki, when asked about the funding for the legislative projects proposed by PSL.

Trump-Zelenskyy-Putin Talks in Budapest? Tusk: This Time I'd Try to Find Another Venue

Budapest? Not everyone may remember this, but in 1994 Ukraine already got assurances of territorial integrity from the US, Russia and the UK. In Budapest. Maybe I’m superstitious, but this time I would try to find another place – wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on social media.

Explosion in the Lublin Region. Kosiniak-Kamysz: Most Likely a Drone. Authorities Investigating Three Scenarios

– Every scenario must be considered. We are a country bordering a place where a full-scale conflict is ongoing. We are analyzing all potential and possible scenarios – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during a press briefing.

– Radiolocation systems, according to preliminary analysis, did not register any violation of airspace, which does not mean that we will not verify this aspect, and this is also one of the hypotheses that must be considered – he continued.

– These are small objects; drones are small objects, because most likely we are talking about a drone that crashed. It does not currently, I emphasize, bear characteristics that would immediately indicate a military nature, so it should also not be ruled out that we might be dealing with a smuggling drone. And acts of sabotage should not be ruled out [...] – he went on to say.

– At this moment, all agencies are investigating each of these three scenarios: a Russian drone, a smuggling drone, as well as an act of sabotage – he added.

11:13

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Analysis of Lublin Explosion Should Consider Link to US Talks and Russian Provocations

– Also, in this analysis [of the causes of the explosion in the Lublin region], one should not rule out a connection with ongoing peace talks in the United States […] and the provocative actions of the Russian Federation. I would not rule out such actions, because we have dealt with them many times – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during a press briefing.

– It so happens that, according to the Romanian Minister of Defense, every time there was a meeting of NATO defense ministers, airspace violations occurred in Romania, with a drone entering Romanian territory, and the Romanian minister regularly updated us on this – he continued.

11:33

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

No 'Coalition of the Willing' in Washington, and Never a Meeting Without Poland

– There was no 'coalition of the willing' in Washington. That was not a meeting of the 'coalition of the willing'. The 'coalition of the willing' comprises over 30 states, which met yesterday with Prime Minister Tusk participating. Prime Minister Sikorski has participated in the 'coalition of the willing', and I participated a few months ago, depending on the subject matter – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during a press briefing.

– There has never been a meeting of the 'coalition of the willing' without Poland's participation. Poland is always part of the 'coalition of the willing' – he continued.

11:43

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Explaining President Nawrocki's Absence in Washington by Misrepresenting the 'Coalition of the Willing' Will Be Ineffective

– Mr. President's administration is only just beginning its activities, so if they expect further explanations of what the 'coalition of the willing' is, what kind of format it is – I am presenting this once again; I have spoken about it many times, but we will gladly continue to convey and present this information – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during a press briefing.

– What you quoted, that the 'coalition of the willing' is a coalition of those who are sending or want to send troops to Ukraine, is untrue. These are all those who want to help maintain peace in various ways. Poland has presented its role very precisely – he continued, asked about Przemysław Czarnek's statement, who on August 19 on TV Republika, said: 'President Nawrocki is not signing up for the coalition of those willing to send troops to Ukraine, and for that reason, it's very good that he wasn't there [in Washington].'

– There are countries that will also not engage militarily in any way but will help stabilize the situation in Ukraine. Therefore, the attempt to explain President Nawrocki's absence in Washington by misrepresenting the role of the 'coalition of the willing' will prove to be an ineffective attempt because it is simply untrue – he continued.

11:54

Kosiniak-Kamysz on Hunters: 'I Support Checks for All Gun Owners, I Won't Agree to Stigmatizing One Group'

– I would ask that not all hunters be judged solely based on this incident […] in Poland, there is no collective responsibility for professions or professional groups – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during a press briefing, when asked if he had revised his view on the PSL’s opposition to mandatory checks for hunters in connection with the arrest of a hunter who fatally shot a person.

– Of course, every such case where the law has been broken, and the court here has taken very restrictive measures, is unacceptable and a tragedy […]. As for checks, I am entirely in favor of checks for all gun owners […] and I am not in favor of stigmatizing any social or professional group – he continued.

– Let’s implement the same rules for all gun owners – he went on.

– I am always open to dialogue, conversation, cooperation, and understanding, but I will not agree to stigmatizing one group or taking any actions that imply only certain gun owners should undergo checks, while others are exempt – he added.

12:04

Kosiniak-Kamysz on the Cabinet Council:

We will explain to the president's associates so they don't mislead him.

– To present to the president, and perhaps to disabuse him of the errors he was led into by his associates, regarding, for example, agriculture – because I know this topic is also to be discussed – concerning the sale of Polish land to foreigners, which our government halted after the disastrous year 2023 or '22, when the sale of land by our predecessors, by the PiS government, to foreigners was much greater, several times greater, than under our government – Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said during a press briefing, when asked what he expected from the Cabinet Council.

– We will also explain to the president's associates not to mislead the president regarding agri-food products from Ukraine and grain from Ukraine, because grain entered Poland in uncontrolled quantities under the PiS government in 2022 and 2023 – he continued.

– Under our government, not only did we expand domestic legislation in this area and domestic restrictions, but we also led to the termination of the open border procedure for agri-food products by the European Union as a whole – he went on to say.

"How’s the Vacation, Mr. Tusk?" Morawiecki: "Time to Get Back to Work!"

How’s the vacation, Mr. Tusk? Coffee, ice cream, and waffles are being enjoyed, I take it… I gently remind you that you are managing a large country. Time to get back to work! – wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on social media.

Zawisza on Government's Housing Plan: 'Instead of Limiting Privileges, They're Expanding Them'

They haven't regulated mileage allowances; funds for housing for parliamentary couples or MPs who already own several or even a dozen apartments are still available, and now ministers and deputy prime ministers are joining this jolly gang of the privileged. Instead of limiting privileges, they are expanding them – Marcelina Zawisza wrote on social media.

"President Kept Informed": National Security Bureau Statement on Explosion in Lublin Region

— Polish President Karol Nawrocki is being kept informed about the situation related to the incident in the village of Osiny in Łuków County — the National Security Bureau (BBN) announced in a statement.

— The Head of the National Security Bureau, Sławomir Cenckiewicz, discussed the matter with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz — the statement continued.

It was further added: — Information regarding the incident is also being provided to the Bureau by government institutions, and the BBN leadership remains in contact with the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces (RSZ).

Sasin:

Tusk's "Energy Policy" Is a Capitulation to German Expectations

Koreans confirm: it was the Tusk government's decision to abandon nuclear projects involving Polish state-owned companies that forced KHNP out of Poland, thereby burying the chance to build a modern nuclear power plant without spending a single zloty from the state budget – Jacek Sasin wrote on social media.

This is what Tusk's "energy policy" looks like: capitulation to Germany's expectations, which does not want nuclear energy in Poland – he noted.

Sikorski on 'Another Airspace Violation from the East': 'There Will Be a Protest'

"Another violation of our airspace from the East confirms that Poland's most important mission as a NATO member is the defense of our own territory," Radosław Sikorski wrote on platform X.

"There will be a protest by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs against the perpetrator," emphasized the Foreign Minister.

16:44

Kosiniak-Kamysz on the Łuków County Explosion:

Another Russian Provocation.

– Russia is once again provoking NATO states. After the drone incidents that occurred in Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, and the airspace violations that took place in almost all NATO countries […] we are once again dealing with a provocation from the Russian Federation, with a Russian drone – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference, speaking about the explosion in Łuków County.

– We are dealing with this at a particular moment when discussions about peace are ongoing, at a moment when there is hope that this war, which Russia declared […] has a chance to end; Russia is provoking once again – he continued.

– We have spoken with all services; briefings are underway at the Ministry of Interior and Administration, and the Ministry of National Defence. The cooperation of all state services – the Internal Security Agency (ABW), Military Counterintelligence Service (SKW), Military Police, and the Police, who were first to intervene – as well as all our allies, who are also being kept informed, is ongoing – he further stated.

– I was also in contact with the Head of the National Security Bureau. We are, of course, in communication within the government with the Prime Minister, and with Deputy Prime Minister Sikorski, who will take appropriate diplomatic steps – he added.

16:50

"I Tasked the Operational Commander." Kosiniak-Kamysz Awaits "Report on Russian Provocation"

"I have tasked the operational commander with preparing a comprehensive report concerning today's Russian provocation and the recommendations stemming from this situation," said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

16:54

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

This Provocation Best Underscores the Validity of Poland's Strategy for Building Drone and Anti-Drone Systems

– We are building a comprehensive, multi-layered air and missile defense for the Polish state. This is a process that doesn't happen overnight; it requires many years of effort. What have we managed to accomplish, and what decisions have we made in recent years and months? – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

– One of the key decisions was made in May last year regarding the purchase of Barbara aerostats, which enable the detection of objects even as small as 1/10 of a square meter, moving from ground level up to several thousand meters. This is an excellent complement to our anti-aircraft, radar, and radio-location reconnaissance capabilities. […] Furthermore, the development of anti-drone systems has accelerated. We are the first NATO country to be building a comprehensive anti-drone system – he continued.

– This provocation best underscores the validity of Poland's strategy for building drone forces and anti-drone systems. It's a good thing that these contracts, which I mentioned, have been concluded. We will ensure their swiftest possible implementation – he indicated.

Domański:

PiS's Outcry in This Situation Is No Surprise

Poland today has not only the fastest-growing large economy in the EU, but also the fastest-falling inflation. Wages are rising, the VAT gap is shrinking. The outcry from PiS in this situation should come as no surprise – wrote Andrzej Domański on social media.

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Russia's Aggressive Stance Towards Poland:

Nothing has changed here for years.

Russia always pursues a very aggressive course towards Poland. Nothing has changed here for years. After all, Russia, through Putin's words, but not exclusively, very clearly states that it would expect the withdrawal of American troops from our territory, and that it would like to have influence over what alliances we are in – stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVP Info.

20:04

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

Arson Could Be Russian Provocations

Let us be aware that we are constantly the target of such hybrid warfare. It is very likely that many things happening in Poland, including acts of arson, could be Russian provocations. We are constantly facing cyberattacks and online manipulations; we are continuously under pressure – stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVP Info.

20:24

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on the KPO Controversy:

I Won't Engage in 'Ziobrism'.

I am not Ziobro, and I said that immediately: I will not engage in 'Ziobrism,' meaning condemning people based on things I've pulled out of thin air. Audits of European funds have very strict procedures. This involves auditors going on-site, and that is taking place. There's an inspection, followed by a conclusion communicated to the audited entity. There's even time for an appeal – stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVP Info.

20:25

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Comments on KPO Scandal and Provides Timelines:

Checks Are Happening.

“Checks are underway, and initial findings will be available by mid-September, with further updates by the end of September. I have some preliminary knowledge, but it's not precise enough or based on solid data for me to disclose it at this time,” stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVP Info.

20:42

Szłapka on the Lublin Region Drone Explosion:

The Test Drone is a Decoy, its Main Goal is Provocation.

– The prosecutor's office is still conducting its investigations, and everything is being looked into. What I can certainly say is, firstly, that from the very beginning, the services arrived at the scene; the police and military gendarmerie began operations, the entire area was cordoned off, and activities are ongoing. Since morning, there have also been meetings, initially at the Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA), and then with the military's involvement. Unfortunately, such things happen, especially in times like the one we are currently experiencing, a moment of international turning point – stated Adam Szłapka on the TVN24 program “Fakty po faktach” when asked about the morning explosion of a Russian drone in the Lublin region.

This is not the first such testing of NATO states or European Union countries, or for instance, Moldova, which has been repeatedly tested in this manner. We remember many, many years ago, the violation of airspace, even over Great Britain, by Russian aircraft. Well, this is their method of instilling fear. We cannot be afraid. We, of course, must inform all our allies, and our task is to ensure that our systems operate as effectively as possible. Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz spoke about this today: the "East Shield" (Tarcza Wschód), European funding, and the "BARBARA" aerostatic system. All these things related to building our resilience are, of course, crucial – he continued.

This is a test drone, a decoy whose main purpose is provocation, as Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz stated, and it has more of a political significance in this regard. However, as Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz precisely put it – all services acted from the very beginning, we informed about it, investigative actions are ongoing, and the systems that are built and will be strengthened will lead to greater safety. We simply must strengthen these issues related to the "East Shield" and anti-drone protection. These are years of neglect, and we must work on all of this very, very carefully – concluded the government spokesperson.

20:52

Szłapka on the Inside Story of Government-Presidential Foreign Affairs Cooperation:

Poland Cannot Have Two Foreign Policies.

Indeed, in the last few days, over the past week, we have seen a significant intensification of efforts aimed at bringing an end to the war in Ukraine. And last week, exactly a week ago, we had three calls, previously prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chancellery of the Prime Minister – stated Adam Szłapka during the "Fakty po faktach" program on TVN24, when asked about Poland's lack of a representative at the meeting of European leaders with President Trump in Washington.

As he said: – The first call involved the leaders of the most engaged European states: Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, and also Finland due to President Stubb's good relationship with President Trump. Poland and European representatives who were preparing the European position, a unified European position, which is crucial, for the conversation with President Trump. The same set, the same format of interlocutors was to participate in these discussions, and later in a broader "debriefing" meeting for the coalition of the willing. Yes, three such meetings were prepared, and in all three meetings, according to the preparations, Prime Minister Donald Tusk was scheduled to participate.

Immediately before the talks on Wednesday – that is, I learned about this change on Tuesday night into Wednesday – due to, let's say, a suggestion from the Americans that they traditionally prefer to speak in a presidential format, President Karol Nawrocki was to participate in that middle call. This call was intended to inform the President of the United States about the jointly developed European position. Of course, the Prime Minister and the entire government acted very responsibly in this regard, because we cannot allow any squabbling, any 'war over a chair' here. President, okay, he will participate in this meeting, informing President Trump about the European position. The government's position was conveyed to President Nawrocki, there was contact. After this meeting and after all these meetings, the Prime Minister proposed a meeting to the President… – Szłapka continued.

I am mentioning this, firstly, to emphasize that Monday's meeting in Washington was exactly, point for point, in the same format as the calls with President Trump on Wednesday and Saturday. Therefore, if one wishes to participate, if one takes responsibility for something, then it comes with all the consequences. And here, as it were, greater activity was needed from the Presidential Palace, especially since there was full readiness for cooperation from the government's side, as well as from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Poland cannot have two foreign policies. Poland must have one foreign policy; there are no doubts about that, and there must be cooperation here – concluded the government spokesperson.

21:14

Błaszczak:

Kosiniak-Kamysz Activates the 'Poles, Nothing Happened' Protocol. Is He a Serious Man?

– All this resembles one huge mockery, a complete disgrace on the part of Kosiniak-Kamysz. He activates the 'Poles, nothing happened' protocol. When he says that, in essence, such drones fly into NATO member states – that's a mockery – said Mariusz Błaszczak on wPolsce24 TV.

– Is he a serious man? He holds the position of Minister of National Defence, and a war is ongoing across our eastern border. He didn't say what kind of drone flew in, where it flew in from, whether the SKYctrl anti-drone system was deployed at the border, or whether it was guarding Polish airspace. […] He also didn't answer the question of whether, if – as he claims – it was a Russian drone, NATO was informed, or if allies were consulted on this matter – he continued.
