Morawiecki Warns on Budget Deficit:

The Government is Pushing Us to the Brink of a Fiscal Precipice,

The state budget deficit after 7 months already stands at 156.7 billion zlotys! This is an absolute record! – Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on social media.

Those in power are pushing us to the brink of a fiscal precipice. Instead of reforms that would curb wastefulness and tighten the tax system, we have an escalation of debt and an "after us, the deluge" policy – the former prime minister stated.

President Nawrocki Warns Against Trusting Putin, Affirms "Nothing About Ukraine Without Ukraine"

– Just before the Alaska meeting between Donald Trump and Putin, President Karol Nawrocki participated in a teleconference, which President Donald Trump had organized. Representatives of several European countries, European leaders, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte were also present at this teleconference. During this meeting, preparations for the Alaska talks were discussed, and President Karol Nawrocki's voice strongly resonated, – said Rafał Leśkiewicz on Radio Republika.

– The second meeting, the second conversation, took place on Saturday, early in the morning, after the conclusion of the talks in Alaska. The President spoke with both Donald Trump and several other European leaders. Essentially, the composition was similar, – he continued.

As he indicated: – The President clearly emphasized that discussions with Russia must be firm and consistent, and that Vladimir Putin's assurances should not be trusted, because he has repeatedly broken his word and violated agreements made with his involvement. The President also distinctly reiterated that there should be "nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine."

Leśkiewicz on the Duda-Tusk Meeting:

A Manly, Tough Conversation Between Two Politicians.

– The talks between the President and the Prime Minister took place face-to-face. We will, of course, not discuss the details of these talks, these agreements reached with the Prime Minister. […] These are topics that should not be presented publicly at this moment – said Rafał Leśkiewicz on Radio Republika.

– The President primarily discussed security issues with the Prime Minister, including security in the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine provoked by the Russian Federation. The talks also, of course, concerned current affairs related to cooperation with the Polish government, issues of the rule of law, and ambassadors. Additionally, they discussed how to ensure Poland's security in light of the ongoing war in Ukraine – he listed.

– What we were able to convey to you and the public after this meeting, we said shortly after the conversation concluded. It was a manly, tough conversation between two politicians – the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister – lasting an hour – he pointed out.

US Meeting on Ukraine: Is Poland Being Excluded? Bogucki: We'll Be There September 3rd

– President Karol Nawrocki has a visit scheduled for September 3rd, that’s in just over two weeks from now, so very soon. This is a very important, bilateral visit with a broad agenda, an official visit, but also a working visit. The subject of this visit […] will be security matters, and since it concerns security, it will naturally also include matters concerning Ukraine – said Zbigniew Bogucki in the “Poranny ring” (Morning Ring) program on Super Express, when asked if anyone from Poland was planning to travel to the USA for a meeting on Ukraine.

– From the Chancellery of the President, we will be there on September 3rd, and most importantly, the President will be there on September 3rd – he continued, when pressed on whether no one from the Chancellery of the President would attend the meeting on Ukraine.

08:33

Leśkiewicz:

I Hope the Government Takes the President's Announcements Seriously

– The key aspect of what the president said was the emphasis on the necessity of spending 5% of GDP, on the one hand, on the modernization of the Polish army, but also on increasing its numerical strength to 300,000 – said Rafał Leśkiewicz on Radio Republika.

– He also announced work on a security constitution. This is, of course, linked to Poland's new security strategy, on which work will begin soon. Here, of course, in cooperation with the Polish government, the National Security Bureau (BBN), headed by Prof. Sławomir Cenckiewicz, will participate in these works, and undoubtedly, the time has come to seriously sit down and prepare a new security strategy – he continued.

– I hope that the Polish government, the Minister of National Defence, Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and the Prime Minister will also seriously take President Karol Nawrocki's announcements and the need to seriously discuss Polish security – he pointed out.

08:37

Bogucki:

Trump Is Partially Right – Obama and European Leaders Gave Tacit Consent on Crimea

– President Trump is, to some extent, right that back then, regarding Crimea, both U.S. President Barack Obama and European leaders gave a kind of tacit consent – said Zbigniew Bogucki on Super Express's "Poranny ring" program.

– Let me remind you that at that time, the government of Civic Platform and the PSL was in power. And that's precisely the difference: when we faced the subsequent, full-scale aggression against Ukraine, and when the Law and Justice government was in power – President Duda, Prime Minister Morawiecki, Deputy Prime Minister Błaszczak, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs – they formed a coalition of states that declared this could not be accepted – he continued.

08:43

Bartoszewski:

Trump Extends No Invitation to Nawrocki or Tusk

There will be no one from Poland [at the White House]. We have conveyed, Prime Minister Sikorski conveyed yesterday in a conversation with European envoys, our agreed position – settled during a videoconference he participated in – and they will speak about it. The format is unknown; it appears it will be a working dinner or something similar with European envoys, but one-on-one discussions will take place first – stated Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News’s "Graffiti."

Asked whether this wasn't a failure of Polish diplomacy, the Deputy Foreign Minister replied: – We participated with exactly the same individuals in the preparatory talks. President Trump extends invitations to Washington. As can be seen, he did not invite President Nawrocki or Prime Minister Tusk. However, typically, the US President meets with leaders. With the exception of prime ministers from the largest countries – such as Germany (i.e., the German Chancellor), the Prime Minister of Great Britain (who is, after all, the USA's closest ally), and the Prime Ministers of Italy and Israel – he does not generally invite prime ministers.

Previous US presidents normally did not meet with Polish prime ministers. Poland is a medium-sized country and does not have the same international standing as Germany or Great Britain. That's reality – he added.

08:47

Leśkiewicz:

The President Has Kicked the Government Into Gear, 38 Bills on His Desk

– The President is fulfilling his duties. He meets with Poles, prepares drafts of further laws, and presents them publicly. He also has 38 bills on his desk, either for signature or for decision, which have appeared recently. So, he has already mobilized the government to work, as just over a week and a half ago he took office, and the government has sent 38 adopted bills for his decision – said Rafał Leśkiewicz on Radio Republika.

– These are the key matters currently before the President, apart from, of course, the most important one: preparations for the President's very important, official working visit to the United States, scheduled for September 3rd – he continued.

08:47

Bogucki on Nawrocki-Zelensky Meeting: 'It Could Happen, Ukrainian Direction is Crucially Important'

– I think such a meeting could happen, but this first visit is precisely in the American direction, it's Washington, it's the United States, and a conversation with President Donald Trump. Only after that will the international agenda, of course, be further determined – stated Zbigniew Bogucki on Super Express's 'Poranny ring' program, when asked whether President Karol Nawrocki would meet face-to-face with the President of Ukraine.

– Undoubtedly, when it comes to the Ukrainian direction, it is an extremely, extremely important issue, from the point of view of proximity, from the point of view that it is our neighbor, from the point of view of the ongoing war there, but also from the point of view of settling certain matters that, unfortunately, have not been settled to date – he continued.

09:00

Bogucki:

Information Exchange Between Presidential, PM's, and Foreign Ministries Is Good

"This information flow [between the Presidential Chancellery, the Prime Minister's Chancellery, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs] is good. Here, one must consider Polish security, the Polish national interest, and the Polish raison d'état, and in these international matters, if the government understands the Polish raison d'état – and I assume it does in these matters – there should be no discord," said Zbigniew Bogucki on Super Express's "Poranny ring" program.

"It is good that Prime Minister Tusk finally decided, after a long time, to request this meeting following President Karol Nawrocki's teleconference with President Trump and European leaders. This demonstrates that by observing proper precedence, constitutional prerogatives, and statutory powers, joint decisions can be made on the most important matters," he continued.

"This is extremely important. Will this continue? I would like it to continue, and above all, President Karol Nawrocki would want this information exchange to be continuous, current, and to build a unified position. It has not always been this way, and the government's stance on international matters has not always been in Poland's interest," he added.

09:09

Bogucki:

Wind Farm Law Decision Days Away; President to Secure Protections by End of September

– The decision [regarding the wind farm law] is in the hands of the President of the Republic, Karol Nawrocki, whether there will be a signature or a veto; today that decision has not been made, and this decision will be communicated by the President – Zbigniew Bogucki said on Super Express's "Poranny ring" program.

– The President will ensure such a solution which, in turn or as a consequence, will ensure Poles that protective measures will be adopted by the end of September. We still have over a month until the end of September; Parliament can and should work efficiently – he continued.

– I think it's a matter of a few days, whether it will be this week, the end of this week, or the beginning of the next, or the one after. I believe these decisions, the President's first decisions regarding signed laws – because we are also only talking about what is currently a matter of some doubt, but there will also be laws, of course, that will be signed by the President – he went on, when asked when a decision on the wind farm law could be expected.

09:12

"All Signs Point to August": Bogucki on the President's Upcoming Legislative Initiatives

– There will be more [presidential bills]; everything indicates it will still be August, a month, one might say, for holidays – said Zbigniew Bogucki on Super Express's “Morning Ring” program.

– This will be a step-by-step implementation of this Program 21 – he continued.

09:43

"This Is Simply Sad." Mentzen: We Matter Less Than Finland

– "At the White House meeting, there will be leaders of the EU, NATO, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, and even Finland. Tusk will not be there. Apparently, neither the USA nor Ukraine saw any reason to talk to us" – wrote Sławomir Mentzen on social media.

– "Despite our enormous help, despite our geographical location, we matter less than Finland. This is simply sad" – remarked the leader of Konfederacja.

09:50

Bodnar on Manowska's appeal:

She repeatedly contributed to the current state of affairs.

I only saw the statement by Deputy Minister of Justice Dariusz Mazur, who very critically assesses this appeal. All the more so because President Manowska has, on multiple occasions, contributed to the current state of affairs. Let me remind you that even the issue of handling electoral protests and what happened before the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs rather casts a shadow on what First President of the Supreme Court Małgorzata Manowska has been doing recently – stated Adam Bodnar in the "Poranek TOK FM" program, when asked about Małgorzata Manowska's appeal issued to resolve the crisis in the judiciary.

However, let me remind you that perhaps this attempt stems from the fact that in early July, a very serious motion was filed to waive Judge Manowska's immunity, due to her failure to convene sittings of the State Tribunal for many months, or her refusal to execute legally binding court rulings. I think this is quite an important aspect of this whole story – he noted.

Probably yes, if everything proceeds in such a way that these neo-judges handle such motions, then it's difficult for them to act in an absolutely objective manner in such a situation. However, let's remember that there is also a second procedure initiated before the State Tribunal, because the State Tribunal itself must also rule on whether the immunity of the President of the State Tribunal can be waived in this case. And I believe that in such a situation, the mere fact that these proceedings are underway, the mere fact that the story of this blatant violation of the law is being publicized, that we are discussing and reminding people of it, is already of value to our public debate – he continued, when asked about the chances of waiving President Manowska's immunity.

09:51

Bodnar on resolving the TK crisis: 'We have several options'

I think we have several options. Well, one is that perhaps – and I still believe this is on the table – it would be worthwhile for all political forces to agree on how to reform and, from scratch, create a new Constitutional Tribunal – stated Adam Bodnar on the 'Poranek TOK FM' program, when asked about options for resolving the crisis with the Constitutional Tribunal (TK).

I believe that at some point such a decision [filling the vacancies in the TK] should be considered, but it shouldn't be about someone thinking in terms of, 'now our judges' (in inverted commas, meaning judges linked to one political faction or another) are coming in; rather, a genuine procedure for selecting individuals for vacant positions in the Constitutional Tribunal should be conducted in such a way that the individuals who join [the TK] leave no doubt as to their integrity, independence, and status, so that no one can in any way attribute a given lawyer to one political camp or another – he continued.

– […] Bogdan Święczkowski is not an individual whose status is crystal clear and irreproachable. Various proceedings are ongoing. From what I know, there have been quite significant communications regarding investigations related to 'Pegasus,' as well as the use of 'Hermes' type software, and we will see which direction the prosecutor's office will take in this regard. The reality concerning the assessment of Mr. Bogdan Święczkowski may change over time – Bodnar continued, asked about the legitimacy of the Constitutional Tribunal's operations under Bogdan Święczkowski's leadership.

11:22

Nawrocki Appeals for Calm and Prudence:

I want to reassure everyone.

I want to reassure everyone, including the public, that in the past week I participated in two discussions with President Trump, as well as with European leaders, presenting the clear position of Poland and the Polish state regarding our distrust of Vladimir Putin and the Russian Federation – stated President Karol Nawrocki at the Presidential Palace.

As we know, the 'coalition of the willing' is meeting today. Poland and the Polish government have long been represented in this format, and President Zelensky invited those European leaders who are expected to be in Washington today. The President of Poland is the only European head of state today who has a meeting with President Trump in the near future, specifically on September 3rd, where security issues, including peace in Ukraine, will be among the very important points – said the President of the Republic of Poland.

Therefore, through the media present here today, I appeal for a sense of calm and prudence. We are also in contact with Prime Minister Tusk and the government, because when it comes to the security of the Polish state and the international situation, there is no room or time for certain political emotions; there is only the interest of the Polish state, which has brought us together here today, at the Presidential Palace – he continued.

11:30

Nawrocki:

I Want to Be a President Who Heeds the Voice of Polish Village Heads and Even District Councils

We have also made a decision, I have made a decision, that within the Chancellery, we will incorporate the voice of the auxiliary units of local government. Yes, I want to be a president who will heed the voice of Polish village heads and even district councils. On the one hand, we will establish a Council for Local Government, and on the other hand, I would like Jarosław Bujak to be my voice among the representatives of the lowest tiers of local government, which also operate within the Polish state and whose voice must be heard in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland – stated President Karol Nawrocki at the Presidential Palace.

11:35

Nawrocki:

Polish Demographics – A Fundamental Issue for the Next Five Years of Our Actions

Deregulation is important for many Poles today. We must have experts who are able to pore over financial documents, over the entire deregulation process. I am very pleased that Piotr Głowacki, Paweł Gruza, and Wanda Buk are with us. I am also pleased that Barbara Socha is with us, who will be responsible for demography – specifically Polish demographic issues for Paweł Szefernaker, but for me, as the President of Poland, as I have repeatedly stated during the election campaign, these are a fundamental issue for the next 5 years of our actions – stated President Karol Nawrocki at the Presidential Palace.

11:44

Nawrocki on the Constitutional Council: 'Preparation for a Great Work'

Finally, I turn to Professor Dariusz Dudek, who, together with Minister Bogucki, faces the great task of establishing the Constitutional Council, thereby preparing for a grand endeavor that I hope lies before us: a council that will address the political system and the fundamental law of the Polish state. We all must make this effort, and an outstanding constitutionalist – not only an academic but also a practitioner collaborating with President Duda – Prof. Dudek will undoubtedly excel at these tasks – stated President Karol Nawrocki at the Presidential Palace.

11:58

Błaszczak:

Public Finances Collapse 'A Fact,' Deficit 'Catastrophic'

– Today, it can be said that in Poland, under Donald Tusk's government, the collapse of public finances has become a fact. The information regarding the budget execution for the first 7 months of this year is dramatic. The state budget deficit amounts to almost 157 billion PLN after 7 months – Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference.

– State budget revenues are lower by almost 60 billion PLN. Corporate income tax (CIT) revenues are falling. It has been announced that 80,000 people will be affected by group layoffs, which is twice as many as in the entire year 2024 – he continued.

– The deficit is catastrophic if we compare the deficit for 7 months of '25 with the full-year deficit during the last year of the Law and Justice government. I would like to remind you that back then it amounted to almost 85 billion PLN – he went on to say.

– This catastrophe in public finances negatively impacts the situation of funds allocated for national defense – he added.

12:05

Błaszczak:

Nothing Has Changed in 'Nawrocki-Trump' Relations. It's a Question for Tusk Why Zelensky Excluded Him from Political Friends

"Nothing has changed in these relations; Donald Tusk represents Poland in the format of the so-called coalition of the willing. That is a question for the head of the Polish government, why Volodymyr Zelensky excluded Donald Tusk from this group of his political friends, with whom he had, after all, cooperated," said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference, when asked what had changed in Nawrocki-Trump relations that the President of Poland is not participating in today's talks regarding Ukraine.

"Today we have a meeting in the format of the coalition of the willing. Willing for what? Donald Tusk should answer what these coalition members are willing for. And why was he excluded from this format? I think it's because he is not respected, not held in high regard, even among his political friends in Western Europe, the proof of which was his trip in a second-class train carriage to Kyiv and Chancellor Merz assigning Donald Tusk a place, a distant place," he continued.

12:21

"Major Scandal, Political Repression": Błaszczak on Charges Against Bąkiewicz

– This is a major scandal, these are political repressions directed by the ruling camp, by the camp led by Donald Tusk – Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference, when asked about the charges brought against Robert Bąkiewicz.

– Why is Robert Bąkiewicz being attacked like this? Because he exposed a problem. An existing problem at our western border, consisting of German services dropping off illegal migrants into Poland. The Border Defense Movement simply documented these facts, which is why Donald Tusk had to react, because he had previously claimed that this problem did not exist – he continued.

13:37

Sikorski Urges 'Polish MAGA Representatives' and Nawrocki: 'Please Use Them for Poland and Europe'

I would like to inform you that invitations to White House meetings are extended by the President of the United States, with whom Polish representatives of the MAGA movement and personally Mr. President Karol Nawrocki have privileged relations. I ask that they use these for the benefit of Poland and Europe – Radosław Sikorski wrote on social media.

GW Journalist Claims 'Nawrocki's Entourage' Confirmed President's Washington Trip; Przydacz Fires Back: 'We Would Never Contact You, Stop Lying!'

“Last night, people close to Nawrocki unofficially assured me that the president was going to a summit in Washington. I humbly and with shame confess I believed them. I apologize, it won't happen again,” wrote Bartosz T. Wieliński, a journalist for Gazeta Wyborcza, on X.

“Sir, neither I nor anyone from my team would ever contact you. We are disgusted by you and your 'journalism.' So please don’t lie about any assurances, because no cultured and self-respecting person will speak with you,” replied Marcin Przydacz.

‘Then Poland Was Represented by President Nawrocki.’ Szłapka on the ‘Same Format’ Meeting

Today's meeting in Washington is taking place in the same format as earlier online talks of European state leaders, in which President Trump participated. At that time, Poland was represented by President Karol Nawrocki – Adam Szłapka wrote on social media.

13:58

Says Presidential Minister About Sikorski:

He Did Not Signal Poland's Readiness for US Visit,

– Please be informed that discussions concerning participation in a joint visit to the USA with Volodymyr Zelenskyy by the so-called 'coalition of the willing' were held with the involvement of Minister R. Sikorski. The Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs did not signal Poland's readiness to participate in this visit. The President of Poland plans a visit to the USA on September 3 – wrote Marcin Przydacz, head of the President's Bureau of International Policy.

Has Sikorski Admitted the MFA Has No Relations with the US State Department? Śliwka Responds to Foreign Minister's Post

“Has Radosław Sikorski just admitted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has no relations with the US State Department? What's the point of having a Department of America within the MFA and the current head of post, Klich, then? What are taxpayers paying him for?” – wrote Andrzej Śliwka on X, responding to the Foreign Minister's post.

19:32

Says Przydacz on Poland's Absence from US Talks:

PM and Foreign Minister Did Not Declare Readiness,

"Important talks are taking place today at the White House, but these are primarily discussions between President Trump and President Zelenskyy," said Marcin Przydacz on the "Ground Zero" program on Kanał Zero.

"During those earlier telephone conversations, in which Karol Nawrocki also participated, President Trump primarily invited President Zelenskyy, indicating that, of course, if he wished, additional people could be present, somewhat in the nature of, I would say, psychological and substantive support for these talks," he continued.

"These discussions regarding who from Europe should go took place at a forum [...] called the 'coalition of the willing' [...] this is a coalition of willing states that would be willing and ready to send troops to Ukraine. The President never discussed Ukraine or our activity in such a format; the Prime Minister always participated there, and of course, these discussions involving the Prime Minister or Deputy Prime Minister Minister Sikorski took place on Saturday and Sunday," he continued.

"As I understand from my foreign partners' accounts, neither the Prime Minister nor the Minister declared Poland's readiness to participate in this forum," he noted.

20:06

Przydacz on Poland's Interests and Topics for Nawrocki's U.S. Visit:

Maintaining U.S. Business and Military Interest in This Part of Europe.

– Naturally, security matters will be the main topic, and how the situation in Eastern Europe will impact our sense of security. It's no secret that the Americans would like this war to end […] for us, it's important that it ends in a way maximally beneficial for our security – said Marcin Przydacz on Kanal Zero, when asked about President Karol Nawrocki's September visit to the USA.

– It is, of course, in our interest to maintain American interest in this part of Europe, and to also maintain their business and military interest – he continued.

– What was a great achievement of the United Right government and President Andrzej Duda – namely, the decisions from 2016 at the Warsaw summit regarding the deployment of NATO units in Poland […] this provides a sense of real guarantees, not just guarantees on paper. Even though we are in NATO, we still preferred these troops to be here, right? So, this topic will certainly be discussed, or rather, the overall presence in the region – he went on.

– The second issue is the acceleration of defense contracts […] we must have the strongest possible army as quickly as possible – he emphasized.

– Engagement in energy security issues will also be a topic of the President's discussions – he added.

20:21

Przydacz:

I Hope for Smooth Cooperation Between the President, MoD, and MFA. A Security Constitution Would Be a Good Framework.

“The concept of a Security Constitution was invoked [...] to establish certain framework, I would say, conditions for cooperation. Really, in such a difficult geopolitical situation as we generally find ourselves in, a period of cohabitation is not the most, I would say, optimal situation,” said Marcin Przydacz.

“Of course, it would be much better if the government wanted to cooperate with the President, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, in this area. I hope that, at least with the Ministry of National Defence, this cooperation will develop smoothly, and I would wish for it to also develop with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, so that here the Polish interest would prevail over a purely party-political interest on the government’s side. However, such a constitution would be a good prerequisite for cooperation,” he continued.

Kosiniak-Kamysz Reiterates: Poland Will Not Send Troops to Ukraine

"– I wanted to confirm this once again, because a lot of fake news has been appearing, inspired by Russia, and then picked up by either fools or some saboteurs in Poland who claimed that some units were being prepared for deployment to Ukraine – this is utter nonsense. We will not send them," said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Piotr Kraśko on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach."

As he explained: "– Firstly, we have tasks on NATO's eastern flank. We are constantly defending the eastern border of the EU and NATO against hybrid aggression from Russia, conducted via Belarus. This involves 5-6 thousand soldiers constantly."

"– The second reason: Poland has the task of logistical support. If European or American troops were to conduct an operation in Ukraine, it cannot be done without Poland. Today, 95% of aid to Ukraine passes through Poland. [...] We must make [...], preparations related to logistics, logistical and infrastructural support – this is something we have been discussing for months," he continued.

"– The third thing: provocation. It would be easiest for the Russian side to provoke Polish soldiers. That would be the primary target – to incite provocative aggression, or perhaps carry out some serious act of sabotage on Ukrainian territory, aimed not at Ukrainians, but at Polish soldiers," he indicated.

"– These are the three reasons that, in my opinion, our allies understand very well. In fact, not just in my opinion – I know they understand them," he added.

21:00

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

"I Wish President Nawrocki Were in the US." – Ask the President's Chancellery.

– This is the format in which President Nawrocki participated during last week's meeting. Precisely, this is that format: of those European leaders who spoke with President Trump [after the meeting in Alaska]. So, President Nawrocki participated in that meeting – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach".

– I wish President Nawrocki were there [in the White House]. One needs to ask the President's Chancellery how those discussions unfolded then, whether there was already an invitation then, or not. I have not discussed this topic with President Nawrocki – he continued.

21:04

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

A Division of Roles Has Somewhat Emerged – Polish Presidents Most Often Speak with US Presidents

– We will always support [this], because I believe that this pattern has somewhat emerged: that it is most often Polish presidents – regardless of whether it is now Karol Nawrocki, or previously Andrzej Duda, or Bronisław Komorowski – who speak with the presidents of the United States. Prime ministers do this much less often; Prime Minister Tusk, incidentally, indicated, I believe, that he was one of the last to hold such talks a dozen or so years ago – Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.

– Here, the leading role, with our full support of course, always – because foreign policy is shared; it belongs to the Polish state, not to one or another center of power. I would prefer President Nawrocki to be there [in the USA], but that question should be directed to the Chancellery, to the President's associates, as to what was agreed upon – he indicated.
