Kobosko:
I've Decided to Stay in the Sejm; This is My Workplace
- I have decided that I am staying in the Sejm. This is my workplace, there is a lot of work here, which Marshal Szymon Hołownia has spoken about many times – that we must restore the Sejm to its proper significance, raise the level of importance of this institution, the quality of lawmaking. I have the honor of being appointed Chairman of the Sejm Committee for EU Affairs. EU topics, the European debate. Especially next year, it will be a key debate – stated Michał Kobosko in RMF24.
07:55
Kobosko:
We Won't Agree to All EU Proposals, That's Not an Option. PiS, on the Other Hand, Didn't Forge Any Compromises
- PiS lives in a completely unreal reality. Because anyone who has some years behind them knows that life isn't black and white and in life, you very often have to build all sorts of compromises. You sometimes have to agree to things that don't entirely suit you, and that's the political reality too. It's not that we will agree to everything [in the EU]; that's not an option and there's no possibility of that, whereas PiS agreed to nothing – Michał Kobosko said on RMF24.
- This stance of being against everyone. Everyone wants to harm us. Berlin and Brussels are at the forefront of those threatening Poland. Well, that's complete nonsense, in a situation where we have a war in the East, where there is an aggressor – he continued.
07:57
- It was completely unacceptable. It was a disgraceful statement from Jarosław Kaczyński. It was probably intended by President Kaczyński to show his strength and his intransigence. But it showed his weakness, his powerlessness in a situation where he lost the election, and he lost it as a result of his own decisions, no one else's. The fact that the opposition managed to achieve such success in these elections, managed to build such a clear, solid majority in the Polish Sejm, is also largely thanks to Jarosław Kaczyński and his entire way of thinking about politics – stated Michał Kobosko on RMF24.
- If someone makes this type of accusation and it is unfounded, they are giving the worst possible testimony about themselves. Someone like that should no longer actively participate in Polish public life. That is my opinion, one must be extremely careful with words. President Kaczyński has accustomed us over the years to him saying all sorts of strange things, saying whatever comes to his mind. He is very pleased with himself. But yesterday, people saw the true face of Jarosław Kaczyński – he continued.

Gawkowski:
Within my ministry, I want to conduct an audit to provide clarity on our financial and staffing situation.
- Within my ministry, I want to conduct an audit to provide clarity on our financial and staffing situation. The Prime Minister will also be planning something similar at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. We, as The Left, are also urging the Prime Minister, and I believe it will come to fruition: a white paper on public finances. This means that by the end of this year, or at the latest by January, there should be complete information on where the money is, where it has been taken from, who took it, and what the state of Poland's finances and budget looked like - stated Krzysztof Gawkowski on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" program.
08:14
Gawkowski:
We Want Our Own Presidential Candidate
- We want to have our own candidate for president. Why shouldn't we? I wouldn't bet on anyone yet, because these are elections that we will be deciding on in 1.5 years, there is still a lot of time – stated Krzysztof Gawkowski in the TVN24 program “Rozmowa Piaseckiego”.
08:26
- When we had the meeting with Donald Tusk, the last leaders' meeting, Donald Tusk said he didn't intend to break his own record, so the expose won't be that long. I think it will be about an hour, so we'll have popcorn. There will also be an additional element, a ministerial presentation, meaning by area and by ministry, because this expose is different from what we've seen in the last 34 years. This is the first time in Poland's history that we have a second constitutional step taking place within the framework of the government being presented in the Sejm and then receiving a vote of confidence. I believe Donald Tusk will connect areas with the vision of the future government, meaning he will talk about ministers and ministries, linking it to Poland's future strategic aspects and will show that this is for 4 years - stated Krzysztof Gawkowski on TVN24's program "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".
08:31
Müller:
It's Crucial for the New Government to Get to Work Quickly, as the 100-Day Clock Will Start Ticking
- It's important that the government, if sworn in tomorrow, gets to work as soon as possible, because the 100-day clock will start from tomorrow, as I understand it, for Donald Tusk and the entire government – stated Piotr Müller in an interview with Grzegorz Kępka on the Polsat News program “Graffiti.”
08:32
08:33
Müller:
A Loss Alone Is Not the End of Democracy
- No, it is not the end of Polish democracy, a loss alone - stated Piotr Müller in Polsat News.
08:33
Müller:
We'll see if Hołownia acts like an adult who keeps promises or like a child
- Let's wait for Donald Tusk's government to be formed, let's wait for the 100 days of governing to pass, and then we will hold them accountable and see if Szymon Hołownia then behaves like an adult who keeps his promises or like a child who throws promises left and right and doesn't keep them, because they also made specific promises during the election campaign – stated Piotr Müller on Polsat News.
08:35
Müller:
If we hadn't submitted the budget draft, they'd say PiS was tampering with it

Tusk:
I am convinced that October 15th will join the symbolic dates in our Polish calendar
- I am convinced that October 15th will join the symbolic dates in our Polish calendar. These tragic ones, just a moment ago we commemorated the victims of one of these tragic moments in our history, and these beautiful ones. And it will go down in history as the day of a peaceful rebellion for freedom and democracy, not for the first time. A bit like August 31, 1980, or June 4th, when we regained independence, freedom, after the victory of Solidarity - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during his exposé.
10:33
Tusk:
We will call the new governing coalition the October 15th Coalition. This date was the culmination of a process of civic and national rebirth.
10:38
10:49
Tusk:
I Can't Imagine Politics Without Love
- I don't understand this, because what's strange about it? We're not just talking about relationships between people; how often do we speak of love for our homeland. I love my homeland, Poland, wholeheartedly. I can't imagine politics without love - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during his exposé.
10:54
Tusk:

Tusk:
We Have Different Views on Many Matters, But We Want to Be a Community, and This is What the New Government's Work Will Serve
- We will have, we have had, and we have different views on many matters, but we want to be a community, and this is what the new government's work will primarily serve. What does community entail? Why do we have such a problem today with calling ourselves a community? Why have these years been characterized by increasingly worse political conflict and emotions, not only in this Chamber – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during his expose.
- The essence of democracy, where free citizens live, is to support each other, to wage this war in the Sejm, at the top, in order to protect the nation, our families, to protect Polish women and men from such a constant political war down below among ordinary people – he added.

My Government's Program Will Not Include Visa Trading
- I want Poland to be able to take co-responsibility for the protection of European borders and the protection of European territory. My government's program will not include visa trading, there will be no tolerance for superficial actions. Poland's eastern border will be a sealed border. Polish services, Polish administration, all of us, including in this chamber, will effectively ensure that Polish and, by necessity, European territory and Polish and European borders are effectively protected - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during his expose.

The Whole of Poland Knows the Specifics, Poland Will Hold Us Accountable, I'm Not Afraid. We Don't Fear Any of These Promises, They Will Be Fulfilled
- Yes, they are recorded, they are known. I don't need to read either the 100 specifics or other elements of the government program from other parties. The whole of Poland knows these specifics, Poland will hold us accountable, and I am not afraid of that. We don't fear any of these promises; they will be fulfilled - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during his exposé speech.
11:21
Tusk:
Teacher salaries to rise by 30%, public sector by 20%
- Teacher salaries will increase by 30%, and this increase will take effect from January 1st. As we promised. Salaries for the entire public sector will increase by 20%, as we promised - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during his expose.
11:22
- As we promised, we will immediately introduce a second pension and disability benefit indexation within the year, whenever inflation exceeds 5%. We Will Enforce Justice Against All Who Violated Polish Law and the Constitution, Who Stole
- I heard these words and I want to repeat them before you. We will seek justice, we will enforce justice against all those who have violated the provisions of Polish law, the Constitution, who have stolen. I heard such a clamor, such voices also here, in the Sejm, that the coalition of October 15 is seeking revenge, retribution. Can you imagine a situation where, I don't know, I sentence a thief, and he says: well, why are you sentencing me, this is retribution, revenge – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during his exposé.
11:38
Tusk:
We Will Seek Legal, Constitutional Ways to Show Corruption and Abuse of Power Will Not Go Unpunished
- Adam Bodnar remains Minister of Justice, among other reasons, because we will seek legal, constitutional ways of action that will very quickly show that corruption will not go unpunished, that abuse of power will not go unpunished, that the destruction of Polish institutions will not go unpunished - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during his expose.

It Will Become Clear Very Quickly That Public Media Serving Poles Are Not a Mirage, Not Impossible
- [Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz] will be responsible for returning these [public] media to Polish women and men. It will become clear very quickly that public media serving Polish women and men are not some mirage, something impossible. Just as you will see that the justice system can be neutral, non-partisan, serving Poland, not the ruling party, so you will see, and will probably not believe your eyes, that TVP can serve Poland, not the ruling party - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during his expose.
12:18
Tusk:
The Future of CPK Will Be Decided Transparently
- Regardless of what investment decisions we make, people will no longer cry over them. The future of CPK will be decided transparently. Minister Klimczak, as well as the government plenipotentiary for CPK, will openly and clearly, without any strange situations that have accompanied this project from the very beginning, decide on the future of CPK before the eyes of all Polish women and men. Outstanding and impartial experts will participate in this process - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during his expose.
12:29
12:43
- You presented a fairy tale reality. Where are the 100 specifics you spoke about in the campaign? Where is that wonderful plan that was supposed to be implemented within 100 days? Hiding behind coalition arithmetic and the necessity of seeking compromises does not absolve you from fulfilling the agreement made with the voters - stated Mariusz Błaszczak in the Sejm.
12:44
Błaszczak:
We will not cease in the defense of free national media and all things Polish
- This is why you are in such a hurry to liquidate free media. You want Poles to not learn from TVP, from Polish Radio about the scale of your ignorance and about the fact that you do not intend to fulfill your promises. We will not cease in the defense of free national media and all things Polish, because you also wanted to liquidate PLL [Polish Airlines] and State Forests - stated Mariusz Błaszczak in the Sejm.
12:44
Błaszczak:
Tusk is Rushing to Meet the EC President to Report "Jawohl, Mission Accomplished"

Kosiniak-Kamysz:
We will be tireless in uniting and rebuilding bridges of understanding, rebuilding national community, also for your security
- We hear shameless words speaking and accusing that hate and animosity are our characteristic. They are spoken by those who, for 8 years, created a factory of hate and animosity broadcast on public media from dawn till dusk. This is cruel, we understand this, this is your frustration perhaps stemming from the fact that you cannot come to terms with the sovereign's verdict, the electoral decision. We will be tireless in uniting and rebuilding bridges of understanding, rebuilding the national community, also for your security, for the security of all voters, all citizens of the Republic of Poland. This is our promise, our pledge, this is precisely the coalition of October 15th – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in the Sejm.
13:46
Kosiniak-Kamysz:
National Community, Strong Alliances, and a Modernized Army Will Be the Priorities for the Ministry of National Defense
- The Ministry of National Defense is an honor, but also a great responsibility. The Ministry of National Defense, the security of the Polish state. In the face of all these threats, of what is happening in the world, especially in this reality that has so extraordinarily impacted our neighbors before our very eyes. All of this is the foundation of a sovereign, independent state. National community, strong alliances and NATO, and a modernized army – these will be the priorities – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in the Sejm.

We Will Be a Diligent and Effective Opposition. We Won't Miss Any of Your Lies, We Will Hold You Accountable for Every Promise
- Democracy involves change from time to time. In the democratic elections of October 15th, Law and Justice received the most votes; 7,640,854 people voted for Law and Justice. Each of these votes stemmed from specific reasons. I want to declare that we will stand guard over every issue that was important to the Poles who cast their vote for PiS. I want to clearly declare here, we will be a diligent and effective opposition. We will not miss any of your lies, we will hold you accountable for every promise – stated Paweł Szefernaker in the Sejm.
- In parliament, I represent the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, which, thanks to the governance of Law and Justice, is today one giant construction site. Many investments have been initiated in Szczecin, Koszalin, and in other smaller former state-owned farm (PGR) localities. We will be an opposition that will ensure your government finishes every one of these investments – he added.

The name "deepfake" was coined by combining two English words: "deep" (from "deep learning," referring to deep machine learning) and "fake." It is an advanced image and sound manipulation technique that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. An AI algorithm, based on real data (photos, videos, and voice samples), creates **material that is eerily lifelike**. This allows, for example, a well-known person (a politician, actor, celebrity) to be depicted in a completely fabricated situation.
Originally, the term "deepfake" was used solely for **face-swapping in video materials**. However, over time, it began to be used to describe other manipulations that alter not only the image but also the sound. This technique can lead to a genuine revolution in certain industries (e.g., film). Thanks to it, for instance, we increasingly see digitally "de-aged" actors in movies.
Unfortunately, the deepfakes we encounter online are most often used for other purposes – ridicule and reputational damage. Therefore, they can be employed as an element of **political warfare**. Deepfake videos spread false information, sow disinformation, and manipulate public opinion.
In an era of continuous technological development, it is becoming increasingly difficult to recognize whether a recording is real or not. So, how can we **protect ourselves from deepfake deception**? Fortunately, there are ways to check if we are dealing with such a manipulation.
Let's start by saying that we should approach all materials found on the internet **critically**. To confirm the authenticity of the content, it's worth checking its **author and source** or looking for confirmation of its authenticity on other reliable websites. It might turn out that someone has already exposed the deception or published verified information.
We cannot blindly believe everything we see and hear online. Often, **common sense** is enough to determine that someone's statement doesn't sound credible. But what to do when we are not sure? Let's look closely at the images and listen carefully to the statements. Let's pay attention to whether the speaker doesn't **look strange** (e.g., has an unnatural skin tone, doesn't blink, or assumes unusual poses). Or perhaps the movement of their lips doesn't match what they are saying? Let's examine if the **quality of the recording** is good – maybe the face flickers or the original image shows through? Let's listen to the sound – usually, in deepfake videos, the audio track is of lower quality than the video, and the voice may **sound artificial**.
It's worth knowing that special **tools for identifying deepfakes** are available online. These are websites where you can upload suspicious multimedia and get an answer as to whether you are dealing with a manipulation. They also use AI algorithms, but for the purpose of analyzing materials for forgery.
**Let's educate** our loved ones and friends! Children, adolescents, and the elderly are particularly vulnerable to deepfake scams. Often, the reason is poor technological literacy or a lack of awareness of the risks associated with spreading deepfakes.
You can find more information on **verifying** online content in our article This will be useful: Golden Rules of Verification.
And how does deepfake differ from **cheapfake**? You can read about that in our next article on disinformation.

Threats of Retaliation Emerging from the New Coalition. I Appeal for Calm and Prudence
- I think these voices, which speak of some kind of retaliation, of fears of retaliation, are also based on voices that are already coming from the current parliamentary majority, we can boldly say so after yesterday's votes. These announcements of some retaliation, moreover, from various circles that support the current ruling coalition, can already be said. I can only appeal for calm and prudence and a very legalistic approach, and I hope that there will be no situations that could disrupt order in Poland, and above all, violate the sense of justice – stated President Andrzej Duda in a conversation with journalists in Geneva.

On the grounds of the Sejm, Grzegorz Braun extinguished a Hanukkah candle using a fire extinguisher. He also sprayed a woman who attempted to stop him in the face with powder from close range. The incident sparked a debate in the plenary hall.
"An unprecedented event has just occurred. A ceremony with a religious background has been interrupted. This is unacceptable. Deputy Braun, by attacking a religious ceremony on Polish soil, where the Holocaust happened, committed a shameful act. Therefore, I move to suspend the proceedings and summon Deputy Braun to the Sejm Presidium to be excluded from the debate," said Witold Zembaczyński.
"By way of correction, esteemed chamber. There can be no place for acts of racist, tribal, wild, Talmudic worship on the premises of the Parliament of the Republic of Poland. As I understand it, ignorance speaks through those gathered; you are not aware of the message and content of this act innocently called Hanukkah holidays. [...] I have been attributed racist motives, when in fact I am restoring normalcy and balance, putting an end to acts of satanic, Talmudic, racist triumphalism, because such is the message of these holidays," said Grzegorz Braun.
Krzysztof Bosak asked Grzegorz Braun to step down from the podium, after which Szymon Hołownia took over the conduct of the proceedings.
"Mr. Deputy Braun [...] I state that on the premises managed by the Chancellery of the Sejm, you have grossly disrupted peace or order. Therefore, the Sejm Presidium will convene to adopt appropriate resolutions to punish you. I want to warn you that if you ever again [...] insult followers of other religions from the Sejm podium, I will consider that you have violated the dignity of the Sejm and will exclude you from the proceedings," said Szymon Hołownia.
"Mr. Speaker, I challenge everyone gathered here [...] to a historical and theological debate. I will gladly demonstrate to you, Mr. Speaker, your ignorance and that of everyone gathered, in a field about which you speak so boldly," said Grzegorz Braun.
"Mr. Deputy [...] I call you to order and state that you are preventing the conduct of the proceedings. Mr. Deputy, you are still preventing the conduct of the proceedings, you have started to insult people again. [...] I am making the decision to exclude you from the Sejm session. In accordance with the Sejm's rules of procedure, please leave the assembly hall. I also inform you that a motion will be filed with the prosecutor's office against you for disrupting a religious ceremony on the premises of the Chancellery of the Sejm," said Szymon Hołownia.

Sejm Presidium to Convene Today to Decide on Fine for MP Braun
- Today, something absolutely scandalous happened on the premises of the Sejm, which the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, of which I am the Speaker, will not tolerate for a moment. MP Grzegorz Braun, as evidenced by the recordings made available to me, disrupted the Hanukkah candle lighting ceremony using a fire extinguisher, also incidentally violating the bodily integrity of people participating in it. In a moment, with the commander of the Marshal's Guard, we will examine more closely, not just photos from phones, but monitoring from every camera, because we need to be absolutely certain about the classification of the act committed by Mr. Braun - stated Szymon Hołownia during a press briefing in the Sejm.
- MP Braun is being recognized as a person who has gravely disrupted order, and more precisely, it states: flagrantly disrupted peace or order on the premises managed by the Chancellery of the Sejm. This means that the Sejm Presidium will convene today to decide on a financial penalty for MP Braun - he added.
- I have officially excluded MP Braun from the proceedings. This means he will not be able to participate in this session until its end. As far as I know, he has already left the Sejm building and is simply not to return until the Sejm is opened again. I want to express my deepest regret for what happened, this should not have occurred, and I also want to state clearly that based on the monitoring data of Mr. Braun's actions, a motion will be filed with the prosecutor's office against him - stated Szymon Hołownia during a press briefing in the Sejm.

ORLEN is testing technologies designed to reduce air pollution. The concern's Research and Development Centre, in collaboration with Gdańsk University of Technology, has developed a new ecological asphalt that reduces harmful substances originating from vehicle exhaust fumes and heating systems. Laboratory tests have confirmed the effectiveness of the new material. The first test section of road using this innovative asphalt has been constructed in Kajkowo near Ostróda.
The Research and Development Centre, in cooperation with Gdańsk University of Technology, has developed an innovative asphalt surface that absorbs air pollutants. This solution will be particularly effective in urban areas where the concentration of harmful compounds generated by road transport and the combustion of conventional fuels in heating systems is highest. The asphalt surface is designed to reduce air pollution to a greater extent than currently available market products.
"As the largest producer of automotive fuels in the region, ORLEN places particular emphasis on developing technologies that contribute to reducing the environmental impact of road transport. We are developing electromobility and the use of zero-emission hydrogen fuel, but we are not forgetting about vehicles with traditional internal combustion engines. We are implementing our own innovative solutions that will contribute to reducing smog, including that originating from vehicle exhaust. One such technology is the new ecological asphalt developed at the Faculty of Chemistry of Gdańsk University of Technology in cooperation with ORLEN's Research and Development Centre, which co-owns the technology. Laboratory tests have shown that our product can reduce the amount of pollutants by up to 40%," says Daniel Obajtek, President of the Management Board of ORLEN.
In addition to substances emitted by vehicles, the ecological asphalt will also reduce the level of carcinogenic compounds originating from heating homes with conventional fuels. Laboratory tests, conducted in the reaction chamber of Gdańsk University of Technology on samples of the eco-asphalt surface, confirmed a reduction of, among others, nitrogen oxides (NOx) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by 40%, and carcinogenic benzo(a)pyrene by 25%. These parameters are significantly better than those of other similar products available on the market.
"For the production of the asphalt, we used a photocatalytic material developed by Gdańsk University of Technology, which causes pollutants to decompose under the influence of sunlight. Our material exhibits much higher efficiency than other products on the market, which only reduce the concentration of nitrogen oxides. Meanwhile, the new ecological asphalt developed jointly by Gdańsk University of Technology and ORLEN's Research and Development Centre is capable of neutralizing other substances as well, including polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons contained in PM2.5 particulate matter, including carcinogenic benzo(a)pyrene," says Prof. Anna Zielińska-Jurek from the Faculty of Chemistry at Gdańsk University of Technology.
Tests of the new material are currently underway on an experimental road section measuring 1 km, laid in Kajkowo near Ostróda. The location of the test section was chosen due to its proximity to the S7 expressway and its surroundings of households emitting pollutants from heating boilers. The research will last 12 months, and data will be collected using pollution level sensors placed directly by the road, as well as from samples taken from the surface and sent to the laboratory. The goal is to verify the asphalt's eco-friendly properties under real-world operating conditions. The obtained results will form the basis for a decision on implementing the ecological asphalt into production.
The "Ecological Asphalt" project is being implemented with funding from the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR).
ORLEN Asfalt is also working on innovative asphalt products. The company is testing a technology designed to facilitate the use of large quantities of asphalt aggregate, i.e., asphalt and aggregates recovered from old surfaces, by construction companies during road construction and renovation. In October this year, a test section of a new surface was laid on provincial road 505 near Frombork, which, in addition to aggregate, contains 25% asphalt granulate and a special asphalt mixture produced by ORLEN Asfalt. It is estimated that in Poland, the share of recycled materials in newly constructed road surfaces can be as high as 60%, and the savings associated with their use can exceed PLN 400 million annually.
"By combining recycled materials with our asphalts, newly constructed roads are in no way inferior to roads built entirely from new materials. Asphalt surface recycling is a commonly used solution in the United States and Western European countries. It allows companies carrying out road investments to reduce the consumption of natural resources, such as asphalt and aggregate, and to limit greenhouse gas emissions by reducing the energy intensity of the construction process," says Paweł Wachnik, president of ORLEN Asfalt.
The Research and Development Centre functions as a modern platform for cooperation between ORLEN and start-ups, inventors, institutes, and universities. This collaboration network includes all technical universities in Poland operating within the concern's areas of interest, including Warsaw University of Technology with its branch in Płock, Gdańsk University of Technology, the University of Warsaw, Research Institutes, and institutes of the Łukasiewicz Research Network.
ORLEN Asfalt is one of the largest suppliers of asphalt binder in Central Europe, used in the production of road surfaces. The company's products are exported to over 40 countries worldwide, however, in line with its adopted strategy, ORLEN Asfalt's commercial activity is primarily focused on the Polish market, where approximately over 80% of sales are realized.

Braun Penalized with Maximum Sanction
- The Sejm Presidium has decided to penalize MP Braun with the maximum sanction available to the Sejm Presidium, which is a six-month deprivation of his parliamentary allowance and half of his remuneration for 3 months. The Chancellery of the Sejm has also been instructed and authorized to file a motion with the prosecutor's office. There are 3 paragraphs regarding which we suspect Mr. Braun may have violated them - stated Szymon Hołownia in the Sejm.

If Konfederacja doesn't expel Braun, they have no right to a Deputy Speaker

We Will Request the Exclusion of Deputy Speaker Bosak from the Sejm Presidium
19:16
When the Sejm of this term began, I was attacked from the Sejm rostrum by MP Braun in a truly unprecedented manner. Meanwhile, I wanted to tell you that it is precisely for such behavior, when MP Braun did not respect other people. When, during the pandemic, he endangered MPs' health (...) The MP was reprimanded by me, and then, because he refused to adhere to the regulations, he was excluded from the Sejm session – she continued.
20:18
- What happened today is an act of absolute shame, bestiality, stupidity, and boorishness, which should never have taken place within the Sejm, nor anywhere else in the Republic of Poland. This act of anti-Semitic, xenophobic deviation, which we witnessed here, was met with a very clear and decisive reaction - stated Szymon Hołownia in an interview with Monika Olejnik on the program “Kropka nad I” on TVN24.
20:19
Hołownia:
We Cannot Let Ourselves Be Terrorized by Braun, Because That's Exactly What Such People Want
- Today I will repeat it once more, we cannot let ourselves be terrorized by Braun, because that's exactly what such people want. It's not just about jumping out with a fire extinguisher, but about dividing us, humiliating us, making us hate each other - stated Szymon Hołownia on the TVN24 program „Kropka nad I”.
20:31
- During Mrs. Witek's tenure as well, which Mrs. Witek often expressed, Member of Parliament Braun had various absurd ideas, but never one so extreme as to behave in such a manner during a ceremony that has been held in the Sejm for 17 years. Let's maintain a sense of proportion. The fact that the barriers have disappeared from the vicinity of the Sejm, and that journalists can move around a much larger area than that demarcated by Kuchciński's curtains, has changed nothing in this situation. This attack was carried out by a Member of Parliament of the Republic of Poland, not by any journalist, any visitor, or any outsider who could not have entered the Sejm in the previous term. It was a Member of Parliament, a person who can move freely within the Sejm, and he has dishonored his mandate today - stated Szymon Hołownia on TVN24.
20:39
Hołownia:
It's Not Braun Who Will Dictate the Government Formation Schedule
- We withdrew, I'm speaking about Civic Coalition, Third Way, The Left, from asking questions; only PiS MPs remained. We want to give them the opportunity to speak, so that later there are no doubts before the Prime Minister's address and the vote, which will take place today. The motion to postpone the vote due to this disgraceful incident until tomorrow was rejected by the Sejm. That's what the Sejm decided, and rightly so, because it's not Mr. Braun who will dictate the government formation schedule for the Republic. It's not Mr. Braun who should have the decisive voice in this matter. It's good that the chamber decided this way - stated Szymon Hołownia on TVN24.
20:43
Kaczyński:
Hołownia's Resignation Would Be Best
- I believe this is a consequence of churches being allowed to be attacked, of ceremonies of a mournful nature being constantly attacked. This happens month after month. There are encouragements in this direction from the current parliamentary majority, and indeed over these last even 8 years, as it was also during the PO and PSL governments, the cultural foundations of our order, not just political but civilizational, are being destroyed, and they are being destroyed intentionally, and this is the result – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.
- But it [the resolution] should also cover the protection of churches and other religions, and the protection of all, not just one – he continued.
- The best would be Mr. Hołownia's resignation, because this is one big show, not any Sejm. It's simply a circus, and it's making a spectacle out of something serious, and the entire purpose of this activity, which is to undermine democratic systems, because that is the goal, and our civilization, is precisely reduced to making a show out of it, a spectacle, so that societies that expect this, perhaps not those with the greatest intellectual capacity, are thus beguiled and kept in Poland – added the PiS leader.

Tusk:
You will receive written answers to every question that was a question, not a political manifesto
- I sat for 7 hours, just like some ladies and gentlemen deputies in this chamber, listening to questions, or rather, in the overwhelming majority of cases, to certain manifestos, statements, and criticisms - stated Donald Tusk in the Sejm.
- From this 7-hour material, we will extract what was a question demanding a precise answer - he added.
- You will receive written answers to every question that was a question, not a political manifesto - he continued.

Blaming Marshal Hołownia for What Happened is Also Crossing the Line
