Macierewicz:

Holland's Film is an Attempt to Destroy Poles' National Consciousness. This Film Was Made by Russian Germans or German Russians
- This is not even an attack, it is something much worse [the film 'Green Border']. It is an attempt to destroy the national consciousness of Poles and to humiliate Poles as a nation possessing a criminal army. This is utterly unbelievable. The army defending our border has been called a criminal formation by the authors of this material. The only thing one can imagine is that this film was made by Russian Germans or German Russians - Antoni Macierewicz said in an interview with Dorota Kania on PR24.

07:55

Macierewicz:

Never Before Has There Been an Attack on Polishness Like the One from the Opposition, Tusk. It's a Fundamental Attack on Poland's Independence.
- [The march on October 1st] will be a testament to the silence of the opposition, which is now a completely compromised apparatus. Absolutely compromised. Never before has there been an attack on Polishness like the one we are witnessing from the opposition, Mr. Donald Tusk and his people. This is not a political discussion, what they are doing. It is a fundamental attack on Poland's independence and on Polishness as our national identity. Even the Soviets after 1945 did not carry out such attacks - said Antoni Macierewicz on PR24.

A New PiS Clip:

Tusk's German Order.
Donald Tusk insults Poles. He calls the German occupation Western culture. It's worth [considering these words] because Donald wants to introduce order, German order - says the narrator in the new PiS clip. Poles remember this: raising the retirement age, seizing OFE funds, poverty among families, unemployment over 14%, low wages, sell-off of national assets, a defense plan along the Vistula River, disarmament of the Polish Army, subservience to Moscow and Berlin. Donald, you won't introduce this order a second time - the narrator emphasizes.

Czarzasty on Controls at the Polish-Slovak Border: Why Did We Address This After Six Months, Saying Every Day That We Are Protected?
- The Polish border should simply be protected. If it was detected that there is a situation at the Polish-Slovak border where there are more and more illegal individuals wanting to cross this border, then what is there to praise the government for? The government should control this; this is being presented as something extraordinary. That's why we are in Schengen, that's why we have neighbors, so that these borders are also controlled if such things happen. This is not extraordinary news for me. The only problem is that apparently these people have been crossing this border for six months already - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty in an interview with Grzegorz Kępka in "Graffiti" Polsat News. - Why did we address this after six months, saying every day that we are simply secured, very well protected, especially since the Balkan route [...] there was also a situation there where some individuals posing a threat to the lives of others were also transferred to Slovakia at one point - he continued.

09:40

Czarzasty:

There's Evidence That If Someone Didn't Breach the Border Wall, They Could Buy a Visa 800 Meters Away for 1500 Euros
- Does PiS have concrete proof that 280 visas were sold illegally? After all, there are hundreds of thousands of people admitted listed on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. For God's sake, you need to have some sense; there's a difference between hundreds of thousands and 240 people, yes. There is evidence that such a situation occurred where, if someone didn't breach the Belarusian-Polish border wall, they could buy a visa 800 meters further for 1500 euros, incidentally, just to be clear, without any checks, you simply needed 1500 euros, go to a point, and you could pass through - Włodzimierz Czarzasty said on Polsat News. - Regardless of what this Ziobro, the liar, is saying, what this government is saying, what they have to say when elections are in three weeks and their mouths are full of phrases like 'Poland is safe.' How is it safe if they simply let people in without any checks? - he continued.

09:40

Karnowski:

Tusk Has the Most Experience as Prime Minister and Should Be Prime Minister for These Difficult Times

- The Law and Justice party (PiS) is afraid of local government officials, it is afraid of their independence, and has introduced a rule that if voters elect you to parliament, you automatically lose your mandate as mayor – said Jacek Karnowski in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- In my opinion, Donald Tusk has the most experience when it comes to being prime minister, and indeed, Donald Tusk should be prime minister for these difficult times – he added.

09:41

Karnowski on Non-Partisan Local Government Officials: They are PiS's Coalition Partners

- This is, however, a PiS annex, they are coalition partners. Because that's how it is, on one hand, the "YES" for Poland Local Government Movement, quite strong, therefore Kukiz was produced first, because there is always some space outside the mainstream, beyond the main parties, which is worth utilizing. So Kukiz was produced, and they produced Kukiz. Where is Kukiz now, who said that if I sell out to someone, spit in my face, well, where he is, we can see. Non-Partisan Local Government Officials, who yesterday in the debate said, we govern well with PiS, if a local government official says that PiS is good, which has centralized Poland, which has taken money, which has prevented the KPO from coming to Poland, and besides, it is a party. These are PiS's coalition partners – stated Jacek Karnowski on TVN24.

09:42

Karnowski:

If the only immigration policy is bribery, then there is no immigration policy in this country

I will always be in favor of helping these people and creating conditions for them to settle, or to stay temporarily in Poland. If the only immigration policy is that you have to give a bribe, then there is no such immigration policy in this country, which is a detriment to Poland, because entrepreneurs need these hands for work. And instead of creating such conditions for Ukrainians, creating such conditions for Belarusians, creating conditions for real war refugees, we are pushing them into the woods, and accepting those who pay bribes – said Jacek Karnowski on TVN24.

09:42

Czarzasty on the Visa Affair: All the Filth Will Be Covered Up. If the Truth Came Out, PiS Would Plummet to 20%
- Do you [those in power] think that someone doesn't know Polish and isn't able to read a Polish newspaper? Your dirty deeds are described in every second newspaper [...]. Do you think there are no analysts in France, Germany, or Spain? Do you think everyone is sleeping peacefully if, at the border, without any control, some terrorist can simply buy a visa for 1500 euros, and the Polish government simply says, 'we'll introduce a referendum so that 2000 people aren't imposed on Poland,' and at the same time they're letting in hundreds of thousands of people – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty on Polsat News. - If 50,000 people were to enter Poland from German territory in an uncontrolled manner, what would the Prime Minister of Poland do? I don't want to excuse anyone, I just really, I guarantee you, I guarantee the state one thing: until election day, nothing will be clarified in this matter. All the filth will be covered up, all the bandits will be covered up, all the traffickers will be covered up, all the connections of these traffickers with PiS politicians will be covered up. Why will they be covered up? Because if the truth came out, PiS would plummet from these thirty-something percent to 20 percent – he continued.

09:44

Czarzasty:

Opposition Leaders Should Stand on One Stage, Say "We Are Ready to Co-Govern." I Am Fighting for This
- All politicians, both from the Third Way [...] and Donald Tusk, and the leaders of the Left, should stand on one stage, they should say "we are ready to co-govern," they should give what people expect, hope that Poland will be better. I am fighting for this until this fight is over, I will not comment on this matter - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty on Polsat News.

Poland Ranks 6th Ahead of Japan, Switzerland, and China in MIT Cybersecurity Index, NASK: Actions of Institutions like NASK Contribute to Building Poland's Image as a Strong Nation

Poland has secured the 6th position, ahead of Japan, Switzerland, and China, in the 2022/23 Cyber Defense Index published by "MIT Technology Review" magazine.

The Cyber Defense Index is a global compilation of the world's 20 largest economies (primarily G20 members, excluding Russia and including Poland), which considers cybersecurity resources. The ranking assesses, among other things, the extent to which individual countries have implemented cyberattack prevention practices and the degree to which local regulations support actions in this area. The data largely comes from the resources of international institutions and a global survey conducted among executives responsible for cybersecurity in their organizations. The assessment of the cybersecurity level included four aspects: critical infrastructure, cybersecurity resources, organizational capabilities, and regulations and legal environment in this area. Poland received an overall score of 6.91 in this ranking, with its cybersecurity resources being rated highest at 7.34 points. Australia boasts the best result, with its Cyber Defense Index 2022/23 rated at 7.83 points. Immediately behind it are the Netherlands (7.61) and South Korea (7.41). – Our high position in this ranking shows that the actions of institutions like NASK contribute to building Poland's image as a strong nation in terms of its cybersecurity resources. We have surpassed, among others, Japan, China, Switzerland, and Great Britain – emphasizes Wojciech Pawlak, director of NASK. "MIT Technology Review" is a bimonthly magazine, founded in 1899, owned by the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The full ranking can be found on the website.

09:52

Morawiecki:

During the PO's term, 80-something million zlotys were allocated to heritage sites annually. We allocate billions.

- Heritage sites are not only a time machine that transports us to the past, as they certainly are, allowing us to better understand our chronicles, our history, but also a time machine that carries us into the future, to subsequent generations, to whom we leave this wonderful legacy of our history, architecture, and culture. At the same time, heritage sites are perhaps one of the most distinct elements of the common good, because sometimes they have a utilitarian value, sometimes less so, but they always form a link between past generations and present and future generations, and thus, effectively, they are truly the historical thread on which our chronicles are woven, and I hope they will also be woven into a beautiful future, which these heritage sites will be able to bear witness to - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Warsaw.

- It's worth comparing, although these numbers rarely capture the imagination, but I will say them nonetheless. During the PO's term, 80, 80-something million zlotys were allocated to heritage sites annually. For heritage sites like those we now allocate billions to. In a regular program, we allocate over PLN 200 million to heritage sites, but in these two editions, it's already substantial billions, over PLN 4 billion, and the projects total around 8 thousand, because in the previous one there were 4,800 projects across Poland, including castles, manors, walls, churches, various historical objects, now there are over 3,200 different projects, so together we have 8,000 projects - he continued.

- At the same time, this program is proof of very close cooperation between the government and local authorities, because local authorities, which are close to these local heritage sites, historical mementos, usually very much want to take care of them, but they cannot really afford to do so. Therefore, this cooperation with the state budget, which provides the lion's share for the renovation and restoration of heritage sites, is fundamental - added the head of government.

09:59

Bochenek:

We are considering the possibility of sealing the border with Germany – this is a government-level discussion

- We are also, of course, considering the possibility of sealing the border with Germany in some way, but this is, of course, already a government-level discussion. We are analyzing the situation. It is precisely in Germany over the past few years that we have had a gigantic influx of illegal immigrants - stated Rafał Bochenek in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on the program 'Sedno sprawy' on Radio Plus.

- Well, but ask those Germans who come to us, for example, for shopping, to refuel, or for daily supplies. However, these border areas may feel threatened, citizens of our country may feel threatened, due to the uncontrolled influx of migrants to Germany. In the last few months alone, over 70,000 illegal migrants have appeared in Germany. Last year, it was just under 100,000 - he added.

10:08

Bochenek:

This is a grand manipulation, as PO and the media lack any documents to prove 250,000 visas were issued illegally

- This is precisely the grand manipulation, because PO and the media environment have no documents to show that 250,000 visas were issued illegally in any way. This is a completely fabricated matter - stated Rafał Bochenek on the program 'Sedno sprawy' on Radio Plus.

- I know the truth because I rely on documents. The matter concerns a mere 268 visa applications that are being verified and investigated. The vast majority of these applications were rejected, meaning that the individuals who applied for visas did not receive them - he added.

- Mr. Kierwiński is a liar; there is no issue of 250,000 visas. Mr. Kierwiński and Civic Platform with Tusk are liars – he continued.

10:21

Bochenek:

We truly didn't agree with the Ukrainians to turn the agricultural market, economy, and Polish agriculture upside down

- Ukrainians are dying, fighting for us, for Poles. Thanks to this, we do not have Russian troops on our eastern border today. We can feel relatively safe due to what is happening beyond our eastern border. In a way, yes, because they are defending not only Poles and Europeans against the onslaught of Russian aggressors who are trying to change the world order, not only because of the actions taken in Ukraine, but also due to various situations, whether it's the Wagner group in Africa or certain games on the energy raw materials market. We have been observing this for a long time – stated Rafał Bochenek in the program “Sedno sprawy” on Radio Plus.

- We truly didn't agree with the Ukrainians that we would turn the agricultural market upside down here, our economy, that we would ruin Polish agriculture. Whenever we have to choose between the interests of Polish citizens and the interests of any other state, we, as PiS, will always stand on the side of Polish citizens. The days of a prime minister taking orders by phone from Moscow or Berlin are over – he added.

10:28

Morawiecki Responds to Tusk's Tweet: 'Don't Play the Smart Guy and Show How Many Euros You Earned from Brussels'
“Herr Donald, you left Poland to serve German interests in Brussels for big money. You made a fortune from politics, while I gave up a high salary to serve Poland. Don't play the smart guy and show how many euros you earned from Brussels,” Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on Twitter. The head of government responded in this way to Donald Tusk's tweet.

10:35

Tusk:

Incompetence and Conflict Within the Current Team Prevent Poland from Accessing New Funds

- The incompetence and conflict within today's team have caused Poland to be unable to utilize or access new funds. We are talking about gigantic sums here. Both money for aid to front-line states, like Poland, and those for the perspective of rebuilding Ukraine - stated Donald Tusk during a conference on the plan for stabilizing Polish-Ukrainian relations.

10:35

Tusk:

We feel in Poland that a lack of strategy and preparation is causing actions benefiting Ukraine to often come at the expense or loss of Polish citizens
- Today, we have a very poignant conviction that the authorities in Poland have somehow lost control. We feel that if there is any strategy regarding the present and future of Polish-Ukrainian relations and the actions of the Polish state in connection with the consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war, then these actions are rather erratic. They are fueled either by some emotions or by party interests - said Donald Tusk during a conference on the plan for stabilizing Polish-Ukrainian relations. - I believe we are all convinced here about the obvious issues, goals, and interests of Poland; they haven't changed since the outbreak of this war. It is in Poland's interest, obviously, for Ukraine to win this war. This will also have consequences regarding economic and refugee issues. However, our stance, as the Polish state, should not change one iota. Support for Ukraine in its war effort should not be a subject of discussion - he continued. - In Poland, we have a feeling, and this doesn't just apply to politicians but primarily to millions of citizens, that omissions or a lack of strategy, a lack of preparation by the Polish state for this situation, causes actions benefiting Ukraine to very often come at the expense or loss of Polish citizens, or with a sense of uncertainty. What is exceptionally dangerous today, this generates negative emotions, which – we have the impression – the authorities want to leverage for electoral gain today - he noted.

10:43

Tusk:

Our Actions Should Be Aimed at Massive, Effective, Well-Targeted Aid for Ukraine

- The intention of our actions should be massive, effective, well-targeted aid for Ukraine and, at the same time, to the extent possible, and today we are squandering these chances, benefits for Poland stemming from this engagement. This is not a zero-sum game, where if we help someone, we ourselves must lose. It is exactly the opposite. Potentially, considering the fact that Poland is and should be a key state in terms of support for Ukraine, it can be and should be accompanied by the possibility of defense benefits. This will require very active and positive action together with our allies – stated Donald Tusk during a conference on the plan for stabilizing Polish-Ukrainian relations.

10:57

Tusk:

PiS Government's Consistent Refusal to Join European Sky Shield Requires Immediate Rectification
- This is unfortunately not new information, but it has gained additional significance a few dozen hours ago. I am talking about Poland's absence from the so-called European Sky Shield project, a system designed to defend European territories against air and missile attacks - said Donald Tusk during a conference on the plan to stabilize Polish-Ukrainian relations. - For us, it is a potentially existential question in the future, a matter of being or not being, to participate in an international air defense system over Poland. The fact that there are 19 European countries in this sky shield project, and Poland is not among them, that all countries in the region are involved, that new NATO member states from our region – Sweden and Finland – have joined, and the PiS government consistently refuses to participate in this project, is something that truly causes us the utmost concern and will require immediate rectification. Fortunately, nothing is lost here yet - he continued.

11:08

Tusk:

The Future Polish Government Must Immediately Engage in Intensive Talks, Rebuilding the Best Possible Relations with All Western Partners
- It seems crucial today that the future Polish government immediately engages in very intensive talks, rebuilding the best possible relations with all partners in the Western world. Discussions within the European Union about increasing existing funds and creating new funds directly related to defense, including Poland's situation. [...] This also concerns the possibility of financing arms assistance to Ukraine not by Poland, including assistance that Poland can provide, but that the entire world, the EU, and allied states can finance. And this is practically within reach - said Donald Tusk during a conference on the plan for stabilizing Polish-Ukrainian relations.

11:23

Tusk:

All this requires is order, competence, rejection of party-corrupt practices, and finding people other than Kurski for the World Bank

- Unfortunately, in the case of the PiS government, we are dealing with very chaotic, inconsistent actions. What's worst, usually with a lack of action; propaganda is one thing, and a lack of action is another. I am also drawing conclusions from the report and from what we heard from previous speakers, that nothing is lost completely when it comes to these omissions, both in defense, infrastructure, and a smart strategy for Polish agriculture. All this requires is order, competence, rejection of these party-corrupt actions, and finding people other than Jacek Kurski for the World Bank – stated Donald Tusk during a conference on the plan for stabilizing Polish-Ukrainian relations.

11:48

Civic Platform: We Caught Minister Rau in a Lie
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the PiS government have lied to Poles once again. On September 15th, Minister Rau issued a statement saying that all outsourcing agreements, those with external companies that mediated the issuance of Polish visas, had all been terminated. Almost two weeks have passed since then, and we are learning that none of these agreements have been terminated. Minister Rau is lying once again. The PiS government is behaving like a government of fraudsters, once again - said Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference. - Bribes, selling Polish documents for money, and never-ending lies. This is what PiS policy looks like regarding the major visa scandal. After Minister Rau announced the termination of all agreements, any discussions about whether these agreements could even be terminated began within the ministry [...]. There is another important question: where did the money from these bribes go? [...] Who took money for this? - he continued. - We caught Minister Rau in a lie. A few weeks ago, he announced that he would terminate agreements with intermediaries dealing with Polish visas [...], but he did not do it in the first place, and according to a letter we have, he does not intend to do anything. Today we are worried about the minister's health, but I have a strange feeling that this minister's illness will last at least until October 15th, perhaps much longer. [...] We know there are thousands of these visas, we know the practice flourished just a few days ago, because we checked it, you can call the numbers of companies in Africa or Asia and buy a Polish visa all the time - said Jan Grabiec. - 130,000 work permits for Africa and Asia, 4.5 thousand for Ukrainian citizens. It is clearly visible that this practice continued all along, despite the fact that a special services investigation was allegedly being conducted [...]. Nothing happened until the Americans stamped their foot - he continued.

11:54

Korwin-Mikke:

We are not an intra-system opposition, but an extra-system one. We want to change the system.

- We are not, so to speak, an intra-system opposition, but an extra-system one. We want to change the system, and because of that, [Polish] television is defending itself against a change of system. I remind you that in the United States, there is no state television, and Americans are somehow quite well informed, and it is high time to restore normalcy. I repeat, we have 0% [airtime] on the regime's [media] - said Janusz Korwin-Mikke at a press conference in front of the TVP headquarters.

11:55

Konfederacja:

TVP is a State-Controlled Propaganda Outlet, a PiS Smear Machine. TVP Must Be Liquidated Immediately

- Zero minutes, zero seconds clearly shows who this government truly fears, who it fears is Konfederacja. It's worth mentioning that all other political options are invited to TVP, they have airtime, they are regular guests on TVP, except for Konfederacja. It's also worth noting that the second largest amount of airtime, right after PiS on TVP, is allocated to, ladies and gentlemen, Lewica. Lewica, so is this a sign of some future coalition, a sign of some cooperation? I presume that it is very much so, because at least on social issues, these two parties differ practically in nothing – stated Bartosz Bocheńczak in Warsaw.

- Konfederacja also has the liquidation of TVP in its program. TVP is nothing more than a state-controlled propaganda outlet, a PiS smear machine. Ladies and gentlemen, and TVP must be liquidated immediately – he added.

12:00

Kierwiński:

The PiS Government is the Cause of a Gigantic Problem Not Only for Poland, but for the Entire EU
- The PiS government and Morawiecki are the cause of a gigantic problem not only for Poland but for the entire European Union. If the European Union can be flooded with visas issued in a strange, non-transparent manner, at some fairs, markets, stalls in Africa, then a problem exists. What is Morawiecki doing? Instead of fighting this problem, instead of cutting through these corrupt arrangements, really sending special services to verify this situation, instead of actually stopping this procedure, Morawiecki has found himself a substitute problem. He will heroically now close or guard the Polish-Slovak border. This is one big joke – stated Marcin Kierwiński during a press conference. - Due to the incompetence of the PiS government, what was a great achievement of Poland in recent years, namely open borders, ease of movement, today may be halted, and this will be the fault of Kaczyński and Morawiecki. They brought it to this point – he added.

12:04

Grabiec:

Morawiecki's Decision on Slovak Border Controls Confirms Poland as the Biggest Migrant Smuggling Route
- Prime Minister Morawiecki's decision to implement controls on the Slovak border has de facto confirmed that Poland is today the biggest HUB, the largest route for smuggling migrants from Africa and Asia to Europe. PiS likes to show pictures from Lampedusa, but when it comes to quantitative issues, the number of migrants appearing in Lampedusa compared to those who have passed through Poland, Lampedusa is tiny, because today Poland is the main smuggling route - stated Jan Grabiec during a press conference. - If migrants appear on our territory, the question arises: why? Why do they prefer to cross from Southern Europe through Slovakia, through Poland, rather than reaching Germany or other Western European countries via Hungary and Austria. The conclusion is self-evident. Polish borders are very poorly guarded, Polish services do not operate professionally, they are concerned with political issues rather than the security of Poles, and these are the facts - he continued. - Through the Belarusian border, through the Slovak border, through the Lithuanian border, and primarily through Okęcie Airport and other airports, tens, hundreds of thousands of migrants from Africa and Asia land with passports in hand bearing the Polish eagle and pass through Poland. What portion of them are working, what portion of them have remained in Poland, where they are, what they are doing – nobody in the government knows. We asked about this in 5 Ministries and 7 central offices, and nobody has any idea. This is what the state of security looks like today, this is what the state of the Polish border looks like - he added.

12:05

Grabiec:

I'm Not Surprised Americans, Germans Are Considering Limiting Movement for Citizens with Polish Documents
- I'm not surprised that Americans and Germans are considering limiting movement for citizens holding Polish passports or Polish documents, because unfortunately, they want to ensure the safety of their citizens more than the PiS government does for Polish citizens. These are the facts. We have a government that doesn't care about the safety of Poles, and as a result, others are trying to separate themselves with a sanitary cordon from Poland. This is very worrying. We had excellent special services in Poland, and today they are the laughingstock of the whole world. Letting in 400 immigrants suspected of terrorism – such an achievement is indeed something to congratulate Mariusz Kamiński and Minister Wąsik for. Truly, one can congratulate them on a world championship in letting in immigrants – stated Jan Grabiec during a press conference.

Tusk:

I Deeply Care That Fundamental Issues for Poland, Like Our Relations with Ukraine, Are Removed from Aggressive, Constant Political Brawling
- I deeply care that issues as vital and fundamental for Poland as our relations with Ukraine, our support for Ukraine, our support for Polish families in connection with the consequences of the Ukrainian-Russian war, are removed from this chaotic, aggressive, constant – forgive me for the word – political brawling, because these are too serious matters - said Donald Tusk during a conference on the plan for stabilizing Polish-Ukrainian relations. - I would also deeply care that all Poles, all without exception […], that we all find common language and common conviction that we have common goals related to the situation in our region, to the war in Ukraine, and to our Polish-Ukrainian relations. […] So that we have a sense of stability and a perspective for decades. This is a pivotal moment. I truly believe, especially in recent days it is very visibly apparent – we can squander all of this if it is subjected to emotions, or party interests, or corruption, and we can derive the maximum from it, meaning building an unprecedented opportunity in history to build Poland's powerful position in friendly relations with Ukraine, and with Ukraine victorious in the war with Russia - he continued. - Such things happen once every few hundred years, such moments when one can either win everything or lose everything. The Polish-Ukrainian issue and a responsible Polish government that will not turn it into ordinary, petty party politics, but a serious national strategy – this is something that we so desperately need today - he concluded.

12:39

Tusk:

I cannot do anything about the increasing propaganda nonsense concocted by Morawiecki and Kaczyński about me

- I know, I cannot do anything about the increasing propaganda nonsense that Morawiecki and Kaczyński are inventing about me, Poland, and my governments. As you know, I am also preparing for the German occupation; I don't need to shock you with these absurd, but of course very dangerous, propaganda insertions - stated Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists.

12:40

Tusk:

Their use of secret NATO documents and subsequent misinterpretations reveals their desperation

- The fact that they are using secret NATO documents and later transforming them into mendacious interpretations only shows how desperate they are. Expect increasingly brutal idiocies from them - stated Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists.

12:40

Tusk:

We Have Very Detailed Research. They Know They Will Lose and Are Preparing a Very Brutal Finish

- We have very detailed, intensive research. They know they will lose these elections. They are preparing a very brutal finish and are determined to defend their power by all available methods, but we will certainly not be terrorized in any way by these kinds of attacks, which are consequently very dangerous for Poland – stated Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists.

12:45

Tusk:

The properties we own as a married couple are no different from those listed in my last asset declaration

- Answer this question yourselves. All my earnings throughout my life have been public. All possible media have already written a thousand articles about my earnings in Brussels. My assets, my family's, my wife's, in terms of real estate, have not changed during the years I was in Brussels. Coincidentally, PiS introduced the possibility of controlling bank accounts, and Mr. Morawiecki and PiS know perfectly well, down to the last zloty, how much I have in my account. I have not been prime minister for years, I am not a member of parliament, but I can declare here, like any Polish citizen - the properties we own as a married couple are no different from those listed in my last asset declaration, and I will confirm this in my asset declaration when I become a member of parliament - stated Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists.

12:45

Tusk:

I won't compete with Morawiecki on wealth; I have no chance

- I won't compete with Mr. Morawiecki on wealth, because I have no chance. In fact, I would have to develop an inferiority complex when I look at his efficiency. There's one problem – he's been prime minister for 6 years, he was minister of finance, and since the time he has had direct influence on public finances, on the economy, on various kinds of decisions, he has kept his assets secret. And from time to time, journalists manage to discover that this wealth exceeds human imagination – stated Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists.

Another Spot Targets KO Leader:

Tusk is a Dangerous Man.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki published a video spot on social media dedicated to Donald Tusk.

"Remember that Donald Tusk is a dangerous man who led to the reset with Putin, and together with Angela Merkel, he let illegal immigrants into Europe. Whatever Donald touches, he destabilizes. Be careful of him," the narrator says.

The narrator's statements are interspersed with archival statements from Donald Tusk.

15:01

Szefernaker:

I'm Glad I Represent a Government Fulfilling Promises for This Road to Be Built
- This is what happiness looks like, because for years, successive generations of residents of this land have dreamed of this road, of a lifeline for central Pomerania, and this is its first completed stage, Koszalin-Bobolice. The second stage, Bobolice-Szczecinek, has already had its contract signed after a tender, and work will commence shortly. Further stages towards Silesia are already being prepared for the tender process and will be implemented. Importantly, funds are guaranteed in the state budget for all stages of the S11 expressway construction southwards. I think it's worth mentioning that before 2017, there was no such guarantee in the state budget, and there were no guaranteed funds for the construction of this road in the government's expressways and motorways development program. Only in 2017 were funds guaranteed for the construction of this section. Previously, much was said, much was promised. I believe the residents will confirm this - stated Paweł Szefernaker during the opening of the S11 expressway section between Koszalin and Bobolice. - Thanks to this road, the Prime Minister called it a lifeline, yes, it is spoken of here as a lifeline, because thanks to it, entrepreneurs, tourists, and those who want to invest here will come in the future - he added. - I am glad that I represent a government that fulfills its promises, that delivers on the promises we made from the beginning, that we will do everything to ensure this 48 km road is built - he continued.

15:09

Morawiecki:

Everyone in Poland Knows Investment Levels in Municipal and County Roads Are Incomparable to What Tusk and Previous Governments Did

- The most important thing is that we are removing barriers to economic growth and development in those regions of Poland that were forgotten, like here in Central Pomerania, Koszalin is not far from here, perhaps about 40 km. It was said that these were excluded lands, and unfortunately, there was a lot of truth to that. The former state-owned farms (PGRs) are the great drama of the Balcerowicz and Tusk era, who left the PGR lands to fend for themselves. The lack of investment in road infrastructure, but also in hospitals, schools, and energy infrastructure, caused these lands to become depopulated. The lack of roads like this one caused entrepreneurs not to come here, not to be able to create new jobs. Our great commitment, the PiS government's commitment, is as follows. Thanks to arteries like this, thanks to roads like this, thanks to the great program for county and municipal roads, about which I don't need to say that it exists, because everyone in Poland knows, mayors, district governors, that it does exist, the level of investment in municipal and county roads is completely incomparable to what Tusk and previous governments did - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the opening of the S11 Koszalin-Bobolice expressway section.

NASK Head on Children's Online Safety: "We are considering a pilot program to analyze how schools handle cybersecurity incidents"
- NASK is doing a lot in the area of children's online safety. Last year, we initiated many actions and we will not deviate from this path. We are considering establishing a pilot program to analyze how schools handle cybersecurity incidents - said NASK Director Wojciech Pawlak at the 17th International Conference on Children and Youth Online Safety.

Morawiecki:

I Saw a List of the World's Most Expensive Highways. The Civic Platform's A2 Is Among Them. Was Everything in Order, Mr. Tusk?

- You see, dear compatriots, what we have managed to achieve. If we are elected, we will transfer this great success of eliminating unemployment in many parts of the country, across vast swathes of our nation, to medium-sized cities and towns, where unemployment still persists, it is still too high, there are still too few jobs, but there would never have been those jobs without major investments in road, fiber-optic, and energy infrastructure, as well as improving the quality of life for residents. This is our cohesive narrative about Poland, these cogwheels that work together, this major road cooperates with smaller ones, with the improvement of quality of life, schools, kindergartens, nurseries, and remember what it was like in Tusk's time - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the opening of the S11 Koszalin-Bobolice expressway section.

- Work for PLN 5 an hour, I'm leaving because there's no work here, I would send my child to a nursery, but the next nursery is 45 km away. Dear compatriots, see how many elements of infrastructure there are now that improve the lives of Poles - he continued.

- And one more reflection - these are toll-free roads for passenger cars, and in accordance with our promise made in May, we have made government-owned sections of highways free for all our compatriots. Meanwhile, I recently saw a list of the most expensive highways in Europe, indeed, in the world. And among these most expensive highways is also the Civic Platform's A2, the one that was built using special public schemes, known perhaps only to Tusk, and how he agreed to pay for that highway at the time, I don't want to delve into it further. But it is worth asking such questions, was everything definitely in order there, Mr. Tusk? Because the A2 is in the top ten most expensive highways in the world - he added.

- But it was a highway to Berlin, dear to Tusk's heart, so we understand that he built it first and very expensively, because he simply didn't care about the fate of Poles and whether Poles could afford to drive on such highways - he concluded.

17:18

Morawiecki in Wałcz: Nearly a Million Zloty from Government Funds Allocated to Improve Roads Once 'Wilderness'
We are here in Wałcz. Wałcz is the eastern edge of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and a place that will soon be very well connected. We already have a section of the S10 expressway, but the S10 from Szczecin towards Piła will be built in the coming years, and the S11 will also be constructed. What does this mean? It means that these areas of southern central Pomerania and northern Greater Poland, which were communicatively excluded, will be much better connected to the rest of our country. This, in turn, means that various athletes and sports teams will be much more willing to come here to hone their skills – stated Mateusz Morawiecki in Wałcz. I often see studies showing that, unfortunately, our children and youth spend too much time in front of screens, smartphones, iPads, and so on. Instead of fighting on the next level of some virtual game or another, I think we can recommend and ask all our children and beloved youth to use this wonderful infrastructure that is appearing in Poland, here in Wałcz, as well as the numerous sports halls that are springing up like mushrooms after rain all over Poland. This is infrastructure that will simultaneously provide space for physical development, but we also know that sport is more than that. Sport also shapes character, it shapes discipline, self-discipline, it polishes the talent with which we have been gifted. Simultaneously, among the best, it is also a competition that leads to wonderful joy for all Poles when the Mazurek Dąbrowskiego is heard – he added. The fact that we are investing here in the Wałcz district is not just this wonderful hall, not just this magnificent central sports center, but also various road sections between individual villages in the district, and as part of the street reconstruction in Wałcz, we are also allocating nearly a million zloty from government funds to make it easier to travel on roads that were once more like wilderness, but now, after our investments, have become part of our infrastructure that is drivable – emphasized PMM.

17:23

Hołownia on CPK: We Need to Stop This Project of Guarding a Meadow for 9 Million Zlotys Annually
- When we say that we need to stop this project of guarding a meadow near Baranów in the Łódź Voivodeship for 9 million zlotys annually, and instead spend it, for instance, on not planning a TGV line now that would connect two ends of Poland, because we don't need a TGV line until we transport people who would want to travel 40 or 30 kilometers. [...] First, we need to deal with things that are closest to people, and then we can engage in grand projects for millennia. [...] These funds from CPK should be allocated to a revitalization, renovation, support, and reconstruction fund for local railway infrastructure - said Szymon Hołownia in Polkowice.

17:31

Hołownia:

We Won't Overtake PiS or PO, But We Eagerly Want to Decide Poland's Direction
- We will most likely not overtake either PiS or the Civic Platform, but we very much want to have such a strong position that in this parliament, where neither PiS nor the Civic Platform will be able to form a government independently, because we already know that, we will be the ones deciding in which direction, not only quantitatively, but also qualitatively, Poland will go - said Szymon Hołownia in Polkowice.

18:05

Hołownia:

The Constitution Must State What Is Forbidden, Such as Pre-emptive Appointments of Constitutional Tribunal Judges
- Kwaśniewski and others [...] who worked on this Constitution, didn't consider that something like what happened in the following years might happen to Kaczyński [...] nobody thought he could do such things. So, we will have to write into the Constitution not only ideas, but also what is definitively forbidden, yes, because they need such things. If this cancer is to not regenerate, it must be burned out, and it must be written that they are never allowed to do this, this, this again - said Szymon Hołownia in Polkowice. - For example, nobody thought in the Constitution that you cannot pre-emptively appoint judges to the Constitutional Tribunal. First, Platforma Obywatelska came up with it, unfortunately, it must be said, but then PiS simply went like a boar after truffles, appointing everyone they could in this manner. These are things that will have to be corrected, perhaps even for years, for one simple reason. It is called President Andrzej Duda - he continued.

18:09

Duda:

I Want to Express Deep Regret and Sadness That You Are Insulted by Irresponsible People, That the Dignity of the Polish Uniform is Trampled
- I want to express at the same time deep regret and sorrow. I am simply saddened as a Pole. As a citizen on the one hand, but also, perhaps primarily, I am saddened as the President of the Republic of Poland. Responsible for Poland's security, for the indivisibility of its territory and its durability, and therefore for border security, that you are insulted by irresponsible people, that attempts are made to humiliate you, that attempts are made to accuse you, that attempts are made to trample the dignity of the Polish uniform and our state insignia, which are so dear to us all - said President Andrzej Duda in Włodawa.

18:10

Duda on Holland's Film: Freedom of Speech Limits Crossed, This Slander is Being Spread Beyond the Republic

We have a democracy, we wanted it, we have it. Everyone can have their own views. Unfortunately, it is the case that some, by forcefully pursuing their convictions, resort to lies and slander. Brutal dissemination of falsehoods, to the detriment of Poland, to the detriment of all of us, to the injury of Polish officers and their loved ones. This is despicable, I do not hesitate to say it, this is despicable, I judge it unequivocally. Does such action, such behavior, fit within the limits of freedom of speech – certainly a matter at least debatable – said President Andrzej Duda in Włodawa.

I believe the limits have been crossed, and far exceeded. Especially since this falsehood, this slander, is being spread outside the Republic – he added.

18:11

Morawiecki:

When We Took the Reins of the Country, There Were 166-167 Thousand Doctors. Now There Are Around 191 Thousand.
- This is part of our strategy, a strategy of admitting more and more medics, students of the medical art, future doctors, dentists, so that there are as many doctors as possible in the Polish healthcare system, to shorten queues. After all, queues to doctors stem from the fact that before, for 25 years, doctors were leaving Poland. When we took the reins of the country, there were 166-167 thousand doctors. Now, according to the same measure, the same statistics, there are about 191 thousand. We have already educated and attracted back to Poland, through better conditions, over 24 thousand doctors - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Piła.

18:14

Morawiecki:

Where Were Those Tens of Billions of Zlotys Before, Which Can Now Serve the Medical Faculty in Piła, and Ever-Improving Roads?
- Here, in northern Greater Poland, in Piła, we want a separate medical faculty to be established, so that we can admit 60 students in the first year, future medics, and later, of course, subsequent intakes will appear in the following years, meaning that in a few years, several hundred future doctors in various disciplines could be educated here - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in Piła. - One can be a supporter of PiS or not, but let everyone think, especially supporters of the opposition, let them think about how it is possible [...], that there was no such investment in infrastructure, in municipal and powiat roads, in our universities on such a scale before. Every starost and village administrator will tell you. There was no such social policy, there was no such investment in the army - he listed. - Now our political competitors, led by Mr. Tusk, are trying to create such a commotion, communication chaos, and talk about everything and nothing. And in reality, this is the fundamental question for all Polish women and men – where were those tens of billions of zlotys that can now serve the medical faculty in Piła, and the roads that are becoming increasingly better to drive on? - he emphasized.

18:33

Morawiecki:

Don't let them brainwash you with PO. They're trying to scare you with border closures now

- I told the [German] Chancellor yesterday: Olaf, don't interfere in Polish affairs, and they reacted positively, saying they don't want to interfere. I appreciate that, but don't be misled either, don't let them brainwash you with PO. Because they are now trying to scare you with border closures. I will say something more about these lands, but they will scare you with border closures. Do you know what the real danger is? Closures, indeed for some time, or border controls – the danger is letting illegal immigration into Poland, which is what Tusk and PO want to do – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Trzcianka.

18:35

Morawiecki:

The Real Risk of Border Closure is When PO Admits Illegal Immigrants

- The real risk of closing the border arises when PO admits illegal immigrants here, and that's why we asked a simple question in the referendum and said to them: hey, you from PO, vote with us. Let's do something together for Poles. Vote against uncontrolled illegal immigration. And what did they do? They voted against the referendum - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Trzcianka.

18:44

Morawiecki:

In 19 Days, We Must Tell This Entire Pseudo-Elite, the Warsaw Bubble, 'No,' and to Tusk, 'Auf Wiedersehen'!

- To prevent this, in 19 days we must tell this entire pseudo-elite, the Warsaw bubble, as it's called, 'no,' and to Tusk, it's best to say 'auf wiedersehen.' Because he understands very well - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Trzcianka.

18:45

Morawiecki:

I Was Attacked by PO's German Propaganda Outlet

- Today I, too, have been attacked, my family by such a German propaganda outlet of the Civic Platform, Onet, and they often write various things there dictated by Tusk - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Trzcianka.

18:46

Hołownia:

A Teacher at the Start of Their Career Should Earn the Average National Wage
- A reference point should be that a teacher at the start of their career should earn the average national wage. Not the minimum, and then topped up because they have to push it to match their new minimum wage levels, but the average national wage at the beginning, and then develop further - said Szymon Hołownia in Polkowice.

18:46

Morawiecki:

The Difference Between Me and Tusk is Very Simple

The difference between me and Tusk is very simple. I left a highly paid job for public service in Poland, and Tusk left public service in Poland for a job in Brussels in the name of German interests. I left a lot of money for Poland, and he left Poland for a lot of money, German money, there in Brussels – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Trzcianka.

18:49

Hołownia:

We Halted the March of Confederation
- We halted the march of Confederation, who just a moment ago were saying: 'We'll get 17% in the elections.' Today they have 8%, 9%, 7% in today's poll. Something didn't work out. Something isn't functioning. And just two months ago, they were out there saying: 'Grzegorz Braun would be a great Minister of Education' – said Szymon Hołownia in Polkowice.

18:49

Morawiecki:

They Won't Sue Me for This. They're Afraid. Because They Know It's True.

- They might sue me under election law. I'm saying it directly. During the PO era, under Tusk's government, according to data from the European Commission and the PWC firm, at least PLN 250 billion disappeared from the Polish state budget. That's as if 5,000 kilometers of highways disappeared, as if 5 years of 500+ payments, or soon 800+, disappeared. It's as if, for example, 7 years of 13th and 14th pension payments disappeared. They won't sue me for this. They're afraid. Because they know it's true - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated in Trzcianka.

18:50

Morawiecki:

Letting Tusk into power is like letting an arsonist into an explosives factory

- Letting Tusk into power is like letting an arsonist into an explosives factory, or letting a firestarter into a large facility with fuel tankers - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Trzcianka.

18:51

Morawiecki:

Tusk Drank Very Expensive Alcohol on Public Funds

- They smoked cigars, drank very expensive alcohol on public funds. Tusk drank very expensive alcohol on public funds, your money, Poles. He didn't work, he let that 250 billion [currency unit] leak away like through a sieve - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Trzcianka.

18:58

Morawiecki:

Fuel Was Supposed to Be 10 PLN Per Liter, That's What Tusk Said

- Tusk's friend, the head of a major fuel concern during his time, said that Orlen had to pay a penalty for having - attention - fuel that was too cheap. This is precisely the philosophy of all these acolytes, Tusk's friends. Fuel was supposed to be 10 PLN per liter, that's what Tusk said - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Trzcianka.

18:59

Morawiecki:

The Biggest Threat to Inflation is the Return of PO and Tusk to Power, as They Will Immediately Raise Fuel and Energy Prices, and Sell Off Polish Assets
- Those from PO were saying it would be 10-11 zł. Now, when fuel is at 5.90 zł, at 6.10 zł, they don't like that fuel in Poland is cheaper than in Germany, the Czech Republic, or Slovakia. They don't like that you are paying less. That is why the biggest threat to inflation is the return of PO and Tusk to power, because they will immediately raise fuel and energy prices, and sell off Polish assets - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Trzcianka.

19:01

Morawiecki:

Dear Seniors, PO Will Take Away the Money We Gave You in the Form of 13th and 14th Pensions

- They want those times back, because that money, dear seniors, they will take away what we gave you in the form of the 13th and 14th pensions with high revaluations, tax-free. They will take it away from you and allocate it to benefit those from the West, because they served them, they worked for those silver coins, and they will allow Poland to be plundered by various octopuses, mafias, crooks, criminals, scoundrels. We chased them away and let's never let them return to power, because this is a dangerous team. They do not deserve a second chance – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Trzcianka.

19:06

Morawiecki:

TVN is rabid. They're afraid we'll keep governing
Because this propaganda from Tusk Vision Network, from TVN, which censors. They really have such rabies at TVN now, they're afraid that we will continue to govern, so we should really treat the information we see there, the other way around, 180 degrees. It's like in the 80s, some of you remember, the older ones, Urban, the one who incited Popiełuszko's death. Anyway, they learned there, in Urban's school, that's where they learned - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Trzcianka.

20:08

Fogiel on the Pope Watching 'Green Border': The Papal Office is Infallible Only on Matters of Faith
- As far as I know, Pope Francis is also not a film critic, and the papal office is infallible only on matters of faith. Film studies do not fall into this category. Pope Francis has been criticized in recent years for various decisions, but we are not discussing the Pope here. We are discussing an attack on the Polish uniform, on Polish officers, and an attack on Poland's image - Radosław Fogiel said on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

20:15

Sasin:

PO Would Prefer Poles Pay More for Fuel at Stations Owned by Large Foreign Corporations

- You can never please the opposition in Poland. I still remember statements from Civic Platform politicians in the spring, saying that gasoline in Poland was too expensive and should become cheaper. Ms. Leszczyna announced that if the Platform won the elections, they would dismember Orlen, essentially destroy the company, and then fuel prices would definitely fall. Today, when fuel prices are indeed at a level that is the lowest in the European Union, the Platform is shouting that it is too cheap. Well, one could say, on the one hand, it's strange, but I'm not surprised by anything anymore. I know perfectly well that the Civic Platform would prefer Poles to pay more for fuel, but at stations that are part of large, foreign corporations, rather than to fill up cheaply, but at Polish petrol stations - stated Jacek Sasin on the TVP Info program "Gość Wiadomości".

20:19

Zgorzelski:

There is no greater blow to the Border Guard and Polish soldiers than what you did as godfathers of the visa scandal
- You attacked the film, claiming it was a blow to Polish soldiers. [...] Meanwhile, there is no greater blow to the Border Guard and Polish soldiers than what you did, being the godfathers of the visa scandal. This is my biggest accusation, because on the one hand, you tell border guards to defend this barrier – and it’s good that they are defending it, I am wholeheartedly with the soldiers – and on the other hand, you let in hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants – said Piotr Zgorzelski in “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.

20:21

Sasin:

Had Our Predecessors Successfully Sold Off State Treasury Companies, as They Aimed, We Wouldn't Have These Tools Today
- Had it not been for state treasury companies, we wouldn't have such operational capabilities. Had our predecessors successfully sold off these state treasury companies, as they aimed, then today we wouldn't have these tools. Unfortunately, today let's say this in light of statements from Civic Platform politicians, but also from Poland 2050, Szymon Hołownia's associates. If they come to power, they will want to effectively complete this privatization process, sell off national assets, get rid of everything that is our common achievement, our common property - stated Jacek Sasin on the program "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info.

20:23

Fogiel:

No Visas Were Issued Against Regulations or Security Rules. Only Certain Decisions May Have Been Expedited. Polish Services Detected This and Are Bringing Charges
- What we dealt with was, in fact, the efficient operation of Polish services. They detected a breach of the law, they detected that a gang of smart alecks tried to make money by expediting visa decisions. Because no visa was issued against regulations or against security rules. Only certain decisions may have been expedited. Polish services detected this, conducted an investigation, and are bringing charges. [...] This concerned 268 cases, so any talk of 250,000 is absolute manipulation - said Radosław Fogiel in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

20:30

Sasin:

Panic Visible on the Opposition's Side Regarding Alleged Secret Documents Threatening Our Security

- Panic is visible on the opposition's side, with attempts to tell Poles that some secret documents, secret plans, have been revealed that threaten our security. Ladies and gentlemen, these plans were precisely what threatened Polish security, handing over half of Poland, half of the Poles, to foreign occupation, cruel occupation, because we can talk here about one potential occupier, namely Russian – stated Jacek Sasin in the program "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info.

20:35

Zgorzelski:

PO and PiS are responsible for the great escalation of tensions and emotions. We say: 'enough bickering, let's move forward!'
- This is a textbook example, what you presented just now, Mr. Editor [the exchange of words on Twitter between Donald Tusk and Mateusz Morawiecki regarding the assets of both politicians], of what we want to end. Today, at a normal dinner table, a Sunday or holiday table, Poles are unable to talk calmly because they argue about politics. And precisely these two groups you mentioned [PO and PiS] are responsible for the great escalation of tensions and emotions. That is why we say: 'enough bickering, let's move forward!' - said Piotr Zgorzelski on Polsat News' 'Gość Wydarzeń'.

20:40

Fogiel:

How is the voter to know that by voting for Zgorzelski, they won't get an ultra-liberal in return who wants to abolish social programs?
- The Marshal states he is on the side of the Third Way. I think many viewers are asking themselves what exactly is this 'Third Way'. Szymon Hołownia, for instance, [...] announced the abolition of social programs, like 500+. I understand that the Marshal will say no, but how is the voter to know that by voting for Zgorzelski, they won't get an ultra-liberal in return who wants to abolish social programs? - Radosław Fogiel said on Polsat News's 'Gość Wydarzeń'.
