Political Week Ahead: Duda in the USA for UN Assembly Session, Morawiecki on Pension Benefits, Politicians on the Campaign Trail, Konfederacja and Lewica Conventions in Vienna

The ongoing election campaign, further rallies by leading politicians, conventions, and President Duda's visit to the USA – these topics will dominate the coming days in politics. Prime Minister Morawiecki is set to focus on the message regarding pension benefits, while Konfederacja is organizing its convention at the Spodek arena in Katowice, and Lewica will hold its event in the Austrian capital. Campaign trails will also be continued by Jarosław Kaczyński and Rafał Trzaskowski, among others.

Duda in the USA. On Sunday, President Andrzej Duda and his wife began their visit to the United States of America, during which he will participate in the general debate of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. The schedule includes meetings with the UN Secretary-General and the President of Turkey. The head of state's address during the session is planned for Tuesday. According to media reports, PAD will also meet with the President of Ukraine.

Leaders on the Trail. The ruling party has not yet announced its plans for this week, but it can be assumed that PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński will return to the campaign trail – in the past week, regional conventions were held on Saturday and Wednesday. Donald Tusk will likely also return to campaigning. It is known that a meeting with Rafał Trzaskowski will take place in Zduńska Wola on Wednesday. Additionally, Civic Coalition will continue its "Women for Elections" campaign.

Morawiecki with a Message on Pension Benefits. As we hear, at the beginning of the coming week, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will focus on delivering a message to the PiS voter base, emphasizing three topics: farmers, minimum wage increases, and pension benefits. The ruling party's strategists want to return to the topic of pension benefits because research confirms its electoral potential among those performing the most arduous jobs. Furthermore, a rally will be held in Otwock on Tuesday, and in Skierniewice on Friday.

Lewica Also on the Trail. In the coming week, Lewica will continue its tour across Poland. Two major open meetings are planned. The first will take place in Legnica on Tuesday, and the second in Krakow on Thursday. Additionally, meetings with residents are scheduled in Radom, Jelenia Góra, Wałbrzych, Wrocław, Opole, Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and Krakow.

Konfederacja Convention. On Saturday, Konfederacja will hold its election convention at the Spodek arena in Katowice. – This will be an unforgettable event. A legendary venue and a unique moment – just before the elections and overturning the table on the systemic parties that have been plundering Poles for many years. This will be a SHOW like Polish politics has never seen before – announce the organizers.

Lewica Convention in Vienna. On Saturday, Lewica is organizing a programmatic convention titled "Housing as a Right, Not a Commodity." According to the organizers, this will be the first convention in election campaign history to be held outside of Poland. Lewica's leaders will present their housing program directly from the Austrian capital. Vienna is a role model in the field of affordable rental housing. The Austrian capital has approximately 220,000 such apartments in its resources. The Lewica convention will take place in one of these housing estates.
