Stop Tusk, Stop Forced Relocation. PiS's New Campaign Spot

- See - this is Italian Lampedusa. An invasion that even the military struggles with. Thousands of men in their prime, they could now end up in Poland as part of forced relocation, which the opposition voted for in the European Parliament. That's what these elections are about. Stop Tusk, stop forced relocation - says the narrator in the new spot that PiS published on social media.

08:07

Kierwiński:

This Should Be a Turning Point, as It's the Most Abominable and Dangerous of PiS Scandals

- This should be a turning point because it's the most abominable, most dangerous of PiS scandals. We've grown somewhat accustomed to all these PiS scandals, as there's nearly daily theft, corruption, or cronyism, but this scandal is the most repulsive because we were faced with such a disgraceful narrative from PiS towards migrants, and it turned out they let almost everyone into Poland in a wide stream. It's most dangerous because we don't know whom they let in – stated Marcin Kierwiński in an interview with Grzegorz Kępka on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

08:13

Kierwiński:

If Anyone Claims This Data is False, Let Them Sue Me. I Challenge Bochenek, Fogel, and Rau

These figures were provided to us by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 250,000 visas, invitations for people from African and Asian countries. The vast majority of these countries are Muslim countries. The Border Guard forgets that such a gentleman, who can buy [a visa] for five thousand dollars… This is a table and I have no problem showing this data. A Polish visa could be bought for five thousand dollars. Anyone could buy it – stated Marcin Kierwiński in Polsat News' "Graffiti".

If anyone says this data is false, let them sue me. I challenge Mr. Bochenek, Mr. Fogel, Mr. Rau. I will repeat once more: 250,000 visas, invitations for people from Asian, African countries, without any checks, within a corrupt procedure – he continued.

08:14

Kołodziejczak:

Grain from Ukraine coming to Poland - PiS did it intentionally to foster anti-Ukrainian and anti-European sentiment before the elections
- The grain from Ukraine that was coming into Poland – in my opinion, PiS was actually doing it intentionally […], to foster anti-Ukrainian and anti-European sentiment today, before the elections. To build this polarization: Ukraine is bad, the Union is bad, so we have to build up in Poland; they want to build nationalism that will supposedly defend Poles – said Michał Kołodziejczak in an interview with Agata Adamek on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden" (One on One). - It's the same with immigrants – immigrants are bad, but let's sneak them in through the back door. Let's disrupt the order in Poland, sow anxiety among people, maybe have a couple of crimes committed by immigrants [...]. And then, let's be the good uncle, and PiS says: we will help farmers, we will defend. They start the fire just to put it out later. It's the same with immigrants; this referendum question is clearly a good uncle's question – he continued.

08:17

Kierwiński:

Kaczyński, Morawiecki, Rau, Ziobro Knew About This Procedure. Everyone Knew

- If today someone says that this is Wawrzyk's affair, then I say with full responsibility: no, Kaczyński, Morawiecki, Rau, Ziobro knew about this procedure. Everyone knew - stated Marcin Kierwiński on Polsat News' "Graffiti" program.

08:30

Kołodziejczak:

I'll invite Telus to a debate once more, let him even set the terms
- If the Minister of Agriculture wants to discuss this matter normally, then I invite him once again to a joint debate. Let him even set the conditions for where such a debate should take place. Let's talk. They don't want to talk - said Michał Kołodziejczak on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

08:42

Telus:

I am disgusted by cooperation with the EU
- As we can see, the European Union makes these decisions very slowly, at the last minute. I am disgusted by this cooperation with the European Union because these are important issues, these are issues for the future, this is about building European solidarity [...]. I would like [the decision to extend the ban on grain from Ukraine] to have been made a week earlier, so that we would know what we have to do - said Robert Telus in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Radia ZET".

08:44

Kołodziejczak:

Wojciechowski Fears One Specific Question – Why Did He Do Nothing to Regulate the Import of Grain and Other Products from Ukraine?
- He doesn't want to talk, he doesn't want to answer difficult questions [Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski]. He knows he has done nothing on this difficult issue. When I spoke with the Secretary-General of the European Parliament, he asked such a question: if you want to limit the import of grain from Ukraine to Poland, does that mean you don't want to help Ukraine? Many European politicians don't know what's going on because neither our commissioner nor our government has done much... We don't communicate at all – said Michał Kołodziejczak in "Jeden na jeden" on TVN24. - He [Wojciechowski] fears a specific question – why did he do nothing to regulate the matter of importing not only grain but also other products from Ukraine? – he continued.

08:45

Szynkowski vel Sęk on Embargo: If a Union-Level Extension Measure Isn't Introduced, a Regulation Will Be Signed Late Afternoon or Evening

- A draft regulation is prepared in case a Union-level extension measure is not introduced. It will be signed late afternoon or evening. Farmers can be assured that regardless of the level at which this decision is made – whether it's a European or national level – their interests will be protected and the ban will be extended - stated Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk in an interview with Katarzyna Gójska on "Sygnały dnia" PR1.

08:47

Szynkowski vel Sęk: We Expect Extraordinary Measures from European Institutions for Crisis Situations

- European institutions argue that the stable functioning of the common market should involve the same principles in all member states, and this is a valid argument under normal conditions. Today, we are dealing with special conditions, conditions in which the market for grain and related agricultural products in Poland has been destabilized. Therefore, we have the right to expect extraordinary measures. This is also foreseen by the treaties, that extraordinary measures are taken in extraordinary situations - stated Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

- The Polish government is guided first and foremost by the interest of Polish farmers and the protection of that interest. Therefore, bearing this priority in mind, we expect European institutions to react to crisis situations – and this crisis situation regarding the market for these agricultural products has not yet been averted – with extraordinary measures. Moreover, having the experience from spring, when European institutions delayed taking such measures, and only the introduction of a national ban mobilized European institutions to act and introduce solutions at the European level. Today, we are prepared to counteract further destabilization - he added.

08:51

Szynkowski vel Sęk on Referendum: If Any Democratic Party Fears Citizens' Vote, a Red Flag Should Go Up for the Citizens

- The discussion about the migration pact is still ongoing. For now, we have managed to build a blocking minority regarding some legal acts of the migration pact, but the incredible pressure and the drive of European institutions and a number of states to implement these solutions mean that the more arguments we have at the negotiation table, the greater the chance we will halt these solutions. Of course, it is important what government rules after the autumn elections, because if a government that has clearly declared its opposition on this matter rules, the situation is entirely different than if a government rules where there are politicians who see no problem in such matters. However, a clear referendum result with high turnout is an argument that is difficult to respond to by saying it can be disregarded. It is hard to find a stronger argument in direct democracy than the will of the people, expressed in a referendum, and that is why it is so important - stated Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

- Politicians or journalists who urge people not to participate in this referendum are essentially assuming that the citizens' vote expressed in the referendum might hinder these political forces from making decisions, because I deeply hope that after the elections, they will have no chance to make any decisions. Therefore, promoting decisions that are inconsistent with citizens' expectations is definitely easier to discuss the mandatory migrant relocation mechanism without a strong referendum result if one is in favour of such a mechanism, than to discuss or promote such mechanisms against the will of the citizens. I have a feeling that these parties and these journalists fear the citizens' vote, and that is already very bad if any democratic party fears the citizens' vote. This is where a red flag should go up for the citizens - he added.

08:51

Telus Asked if the EU Acts in Putin's Interest: Perhaps Unconsciously, But Yes
- The situation is sick, meaning yes, it's sick because grain that should be going to Africa, to the countries it went to before the war, is all going to Europe. Not just Ukrainian grain... Russian grain is also going to Europe, which is flooding the market and thus causing too much grain in Europe, low prices in Europe, and this grain is not available in other parts of the world. This is truly Putin's narrative [...] perhaps unconsciously, but yes [the European Union is acting in Putin's interest]. Why? Because Putin uses food, food products from Ukraine, as an element of war. Closing the Black Sea route is an element of war. It was Putin who closed the Black Sea route so that this grain would travel through Europe - said Robert Telus on Radio ZET.

08:53

Szynkowski vel Sęk: The Polish State Functions Even When Doubts Arise About a Politician from One's Own Camp

- The matter, to my knowledge, concerns, although my knowledge here is rather media-driven, as I don't have insight into the services' activities in this regard, several hundred cases, not several hundred thousand as the opposition attempts to promote. This is an incomparable scale: several hundred versus several hundred thousand. These are entirely different scales of problems, firstly. Secondly, the appropriate services are dealing with it. Thirdly, resignations. The deputy minister potentially responsible for these irregularities was immediately dismissed, or doubts could be raised around his actions, so swift action is being implemented here. Even though it's a heated political campaign period, nobody hesitates to fulfill their duties. The services are acting, which best shows that the Polish state functions even when doubts arise, including doubts concerning a politician from one's own camp – stated Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

08:56

Telus on Kołodziejczak: He Betrayed Farmers, the Polish Countryside, His Closest Collaborators
- He [Michał Kołodziejczak] betrayed the farmers, he betrayed the Polish countryside, he betrayed his closest collaborators. Even his closest collaborators are calling today and saying they are disappointed by what he has done. He joined a party that harms Polish and European agriculture, because Civic Platform governs in the European Union - Robert Telus said on Radio ZET.

09:02

Telus on When He'll Release the List of Firms Profiting from Grain Imports: How the Prosecutor's Investigation Will End
- How the prosecutor's investigation [into companies that profited from grain imports to Poland] will end [I will publish the list of companies], because at the moment, the companies that imported technical grain are all being investigated, and some have already been charged. [...] I would very much like these lists to be published [...] therefore [I am not publishing this list] because there is currently an investigation [...] there is prosecutorial secrecy - said Robert Telus on Radio ZET.

10:05

Schetyna on the Visa Scandal: 'It's Been Talked About for Months, but I Feel PiS is Doing Everything to Reach the Election Date'

- The image of the PiS state's pathology, a criminal organization building its access to state structures, in this case, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Those who profited from this process, those who organized smuggling or trade, enabled the issuance of Schengen visas by Polish consuls. Certainly, perpetrators of this illegal process were involved, as evidenced by the abrupt resignation of Deputy Minister Wawrzyk, but this is the tip of the iceberg. The point is to see this structure. After all, some individuals have already been arrested, some have been charged, including close associates of the minister or deputy minister - stated Grzegorz Schetyna in a conversation with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus's "Sedno sprawy" (The Core of the Matter).

- The case is known and has been discussed for many months, but I have the impression that PiS is doing everything to reach the election date, to avoid revealing it, not to open it up before the elections, but it concerns hundreds of thousands of cases. Interventions regarding specific names or visas issued. The system that has been built is broken, because people who simply break the law have influence over it - he added.

10:07

Schetyna:

When politicians or individuals linked to criminal groups start influencing these decisions, pathology occurs

- If companies are chosen in a fair tender, if they are responsible for managing the visa issuance procedure and are screened and monitored, then everything is fine. If, as is happening now, an external virus is introduced, if politicians or individuals linked to criminal groups start influencing these decisions, then pathology occurs - stated Grzegorz Schetyna in Radio Plus's "Sedno sprawy" (The Core of the Matter).

- This is absurd, because the system, these criminal activities that took place, were specifically linked to associates of Minister Wawrzyk, who gave orders to consuls, but this did not only concern external companies but also directly to the consuls general. This is a pathological system. That means, it reached external companies, but also consuls. That is why it needs to be thoroughly investigated - he added.

10:24

Schetyna:

The state cannot be partisan, unlike the state run by PiS

- The state cannot be partisan, unlike the state run by PiS. This is a pathology, it has led to a pathology. So today we are saying that this pathology must end and we must start thinking together about how to build migration policy. We will not talk about our plans that we will implement after winning the elections today; we will not talk about it today because today we are talking about what is a serious problem, the pathology of PiS. This is certainly a topic for a serious discussion at the European Council level - stated Grzegorz Schetyna in "Sedno sprawy" on Radio Plus.

10:37

Gliński:

No Big Numbers, No Mass Migration. It Was a Situation Regarding Contract Workers, and in Very Limited Numbers
- Well, it's worth debunking: no big numbers, no mass [migration]. It was a situation regarding contract workers, and in very limited numbers. What's more, they most likely aren't in Poland. This is currently under investigation, and the matter was discovered by our services; the state is acting and, if such a situation arises, it reacts – said Piotr Gliński in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on the program "Salon Polityczny Trójki" (Trójka Political Salon). - However, a much more serious matter is this Lampedusa situation, because let's remember that the Polish opposition in the EP also voted for this mandatory relocation mechanism, meaning one can imagine that the EU could soon demand Poland accept these individuals – he stated.

10:39

Grabiec:

PiS Politicians Are Trying to Dilute the Scandal and Lie About the Facts
This is where the source of this scandal lies, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which we will visit shortly, demanding further documents concerning the visa scandal. At the beginning, I wanted to correct the lies that are appearing in public space, or more precisely, not so much appearing as being formulated by PiS politicians, the PiS government spokesperson Piotr Müller, or the former head of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki's Chancellery, Michał Dworczyk. The PiS politicians are trying to dilute this scandal as much as possible and are lying about the facts. The number we have consistently provided for over a week, the figure of 250,000 visas issued to citizens of Africa and Asia – we are talking about a period of two and a half years – is a true number and concerns visas, meaning invitations, meaning the admission into Poland of very specific people who received these visas. PiS politicians are trying to explain that it wasn't in this period, that it's not about visas, that it's about work permits, and these don't necessarily mean someone will come to us. All of this is a lie, showing how deeply entangled PiS politicians are in this scandal – stated Jan Grabiec during a press conference. - Today we are at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to obtain documents concerning the visa scandal, and specifically, we know that signals, reports, and information that this visa scandal was ongoing were reaching the Ministry of Interior and Administration. These were pieces of information formulated over the last 3 years. It's not as if this scandal appeared this year, suddenly last week, or a few months ago. Information that Polish visas were being sold to anyone who would pay, without any control, without any examination of whether the person applying for the visa posed a threat or not. These visas were being sold for years, information on this matter was sent through official and unofficial channels to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Today, we are demanding documentation in this matter, as it is public information, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has an obligation to provide parliament members with correspondence regarding reports of irregularities and fraud in the issuance of visas – he added.

10:40

Kierwiński:

Let the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Simply Provide the Exact Same Data They Gave Us. Then It Will Become Clear How Big a Bunch of Liars and Swindlers PiS Politicians Are
- If Bochenek and Dworczyk are saying today that this data is untrue, then I have a proposal for them. Let them summon Minister Rau, he's still somewhere, he probably hasn't disappeared completely like Wawrzyk. Let the Ministry simply provide the exact same data, let them publish it on their websites, the data they provided us with. Then you will see what great liars and swindlers the PiS politicians who are commenting on this matter are - stated Marcin Kierwiński during a press conference.

10:40

Kierwiński:

I Publicly Question Minister Kamiński

- Today, I am publicly asking Minister Kamiński if it is true that special services of NATO member states informed Polish special services that Polish visas were issued to citizens from African and Asian countries who are on the list of particularly dangerous individuals. Does the Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA) have knowledge that such individuals may have entered Poland or may have entered the Schengen area – stated Marcin Kierwiński during a press conference.

- This information is necessary and crucial for Polish security. We have information that MSWiA was informed about this, that services managed by important PiS politicians were informed about this. PiS politicians constantly talk about Polish security, they constantly talk about how bravely they defend this security, yet it turns out that people associated with PiS are trading this security, for example, at consulates or embassies. That famous 5,000 dollars for a Polish visa is a symbol of how much Polish security is being sold off during the PiS era – he added.

10:42

Rau Announces Extraordinary Control and Audit, Terminates Outsourcing Agreements

- In connection with ongoing findings regarding irregularities in the visa issuance process, the Minister of Foreign Affairs has decided the following - the ministry informed in a statement.

1. Dismiss from his position and terminate the employment contract of the Director of the Legal and Compliance Management Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jakub Osajda;

2. Conduct an extraordinary control and audit in the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and all consular missions of the Republic of Poland;

3. Terminate agreements with all outsourcing companies to which, since 2011, tasks related to receiving visa applications have been entrusted, following the closure of 31 missions by decision of the then head of the ministry, Radosław Sikorski.

10:45

Gliński:

Decisions on admitting immigrants must belong to our democratically elected authorities, not be imposed from outside
- Poland will say "no" because Poland cannot be blackmailed on these matters. We are not responsible for certain issues, including historical, colonial ones; we never had colonies, and besides, Poland has many, many years to catch up […]. We must be a sovereign country; such decisions [on admitting immigrants] must belong to our democratically elected authorities, not be imposed from outside, unfortunately with the participation of the Polish opposition – said Piotr Gliński in the program ,,Salon Polityczny Trójki" (Trójka Political Salon).

10:55

Brudziński:

Unlike Tusk and Civic Platform, We Can Admit Mistakes and Apologize, But the Alternative is People Who Were Ready to Bring About an Armageddon in Poland Like on Lampedusa

- You may be angry with PiS for our stumbles and mistakes. Unlike Tusk and Civic Platform, we can admit to them and apologize, but the alternative to us are people who, in order to please German politicians and Brussels officials, were ready to bring about an armageddon in Poland like what we see today on Lampedusa and in most large EU cities. Rapes of women, drug trafficking, scams by African and Arab ethnic gangs – all of this could affect Poles if Tusk and his acolytes return to power. Therefore, even if you are angry with us, don't be foolish – wrote Joachim Brudziński on Twitter.

Visa Scandal: Trzecia Droga Demands Resignations of Rau and Morawiecki, Immediate National Security Council Convening
- We call upon the President and formally request the President of the Republic of Poland to immediately convene the National Security Council, because Poland's security has been threatened if, in a criminal, corrupt manner, individuals who were not invited here, were often not desired here, but were bought, simply bought the opportunity to fly and travel to Poland and stay in Poland, in Europe or in other countries, this is a threat to the security of the Polish state [...] this is not visa trafficking, they were trading in Polish security - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference. - We expect the Sejm to convene and a report from the Prime Minister, who will present, even in a closed session, it could be a classified session, information on what the services have done so far in this matter - he continued. - This is not a corruption scandal, this is a smuggling scandal [...]. Today we see that these people [at the Polish-Belarusian border] were simply unlucky in that they bought their entry ticket to the European Union territory not from the right smuggler, because they bought it from Lukashenko, instead of buying it from Wawrzyk's people. [...] Human smuggling within the Polish government is something that has not happened, something that could not have been imagined, an affair of this scale, over the last 30 years, it is something unbelievable. That is why we are not only calling on the President to act today, but also the Prime Minister. [...] This should not end solely with the tactical hiding of Minister Wawrzyk, but [...] with the resignation of Minister Rau, the resignation of the Prime Minister, because he supervises Minister Rau - said Szymon Hołownia. - Today, as soon as possible, we expect the Prime Minister to introduce the Internal Security Agency to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. [...] ABW immediately to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also checks in the services - he continued.

We've Completed the Rebranding Process in Slovakia, and 90 Stations Now Operate Under the ORLEN Brand
We have completed the rebranding process in Slovakia, and 90 stations are now operating there under the ORLEN brand. In the past 4 years, we have created one of the largest and most modern networks in this market. Taxes, Education, Security. The Third Way Presents "12 Guarantees"
- We are presenting our 12 guarantees stemming from our joint program, which we, as the first coalition, the first electoral committee, presented several months ago - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference. The list of "12 Guarantees of the Third Way" is as follows: 1. Simple and stable tax system 2. Breathing room for entrepreneurs. Voluntary social security contributions for micro-enterprises facing insolvency 3. 6% of GDP for education 4. End to queues for specialist doctors 5. Family PIT. Larger family - lower taxes 6. Women Forward! 7. Food security. An end to the influx of uncontrolled food from Ukraine 8. Green Poland. Cheap electricity, clean air 9. Personal assistant for people with disabilities 10. Affordable housing. "Dormitory for a zloty" for students from outside major cities 11. The state as an honest employer 12. Modern army. 50% of defense spending on modernizing the military in Polish armaments plants

12:37

Morawiecki:

There is no Poland A or Poland B for us. We want Poland to be one

- These are several more billions of zlotys that will create development prospects, because for us there is no Poland A, Poland B, and in this case many spoke of Poland C and used even further letters of our alphabet. We want Poland to be truly one, so that this land, which was forgotten, is truly characterized by beauty, friendliness, and prospects, and our program is also intended to serve this purpose - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the Local Government Conference in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.

12:38

Morawiecki:

We Want Quality of Life to Be Constantly Improved, and That's Precisely Why We're Investing

- We want this land to be attractive for entrepreneurs, as well as for tourists and residents, so that the quality of life is constantly improved, and that's precisely why we're investing, such as in former PGR (State Agricultural Farm) municipalities, which, as I've said, I would like to see become merely a historical definition, a historical description, rather than a factual description of a certain social characteristic attributed to these lands, areas, and municipalities. This applies to all other municipalities as well. Let these major infrastructure investments, which we are undertaking along with our government strategic investment programs, let them also testify to this trust in local governments - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the Local Government Conference in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.

12:41

Morawiecki:

We Know How to Manage Public Finances So That No One Says: 'There's No Money and Never Will Be'

- If anyone doesn't believe it, let them think about whether there were such programs before that gave you, local government officials, such development opportunities? Let every mayor, village head, district governor, or city president ask themselves this question: four years ago, eight years ago, were there programs that created prospects for economic development, attracting new entrepreneurs, creating new hospital units, improving the quality of healthcare, and raising the quality of life? This is fundamentally important so that people don't leave this place - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the Local Government Conference in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.

- We know how to manage public finances so that no one will say: where is that money buried? There's no money and there won't be, and for whom is there no money? Especially for municipalities like yours, and I repeat: regardless of political affiliations, you know best how much funding has flowed into this voivodeship - he continued.

12:44

Morawiecki:

I Entrust This Trust to Your Hands, and the Substantial Funds We Allocate to this Voivodeship, in This Round Exceed 300 Million PLN
- We trust you to spend this money in accordance with your declarations, according to your best knowledge of what your commune, your powiat, or your city needs most. I entrust this trust to your hands, I believe that these substantial funds we are allocating to this voivodeship, in this round, amount to over 300 million PLN. This is from this program alone, and there are further ones ahead that we will be deciding on this year – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the Local Government Conference in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.

13:22

Sikorski:

Let PiS not try to cover up its corruption with outsourcing or decisions on diplomatic missions from over a decade ago
- Let PiS not try to cover up its corruption with outsourcing or decisions made over a decade ago. Indeed, in order to open missions in priority locations - Vinnytsia, Sevastopol, Donetsk - I closed missions where there were simply no consular activities or Polish interests, for example, in Zimbabwe or Costa Rica. This is a constant process of adapting the map of Polish diplomatic missions to the map of Polish interests - said Radosław Sikorski at a press conference. - This mysterious term "outsourcing" simply means that an external company – used by dozens of countries, including many European Union member states, and selected through a tender – in places where there are no diplomatic missions (and no country has consulates in every major city worldwide) – the offices of this or another outsourcing company assist people in filling out forms. And that's all. The decisions to grant or refuse visas are always made by a consul - he continued.

Sikorski:

We Risk Polish Visas No Longer Being Respected in the Rest of the Schengen Area
- There is no justification for trading Polish visas, for taking money from people who should not receive them. This is not only corruption, it is downright dangerous, because these could be dangerous people - said Radosław Sikorski at a press conference. - This is a matter that can affect each of us. European integration relies on the trust of all institutions in all EU member states towards each other. Why can we move around the Schengen area without passport controls? Because other countries trust that we grant citizenship, for example, only to vetted individuals. [...] If Poland sells Schengen visas, it directly impacts the interests of other members, and vice versa. I guarantee you that if it were the other way around, if Germany were trading German Schengen visas and people started arriving in Poland on German visas bought with bribes, Kaczyński would be the first today to call for the reintroduction of border controls on the Oder - he continued. - We risk Polish Schengen visas no longer being respected in the rest of the EU, the Schengen area, and that the Schengen area may develop suspicions about Poland's reliability within the entire system - the MEP emphasized.

Wąsik:

Civic Platform's Smuggling Scandal

Today, I wanted to talk about a matter that can only be described as the Civic Platform's smuggling scandal. On September 7th, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBŚP) and the Border Guard detained 48-year-old Ewa M. in Tarnowskie Góry. The prosecution then charged her with leading a criminal group that smuggled people across the border with Belarus. Previously, five other individuals had been arrested in connection with this case: two Indian nationals, two Pakistani nationals, and one Tajik national. Four out of these five individuals are currently in custody. The prosecution alleges that these individuals, along with Ewa M., who led the group, charged each smuggled person 5,000 euros for transportation to Western Europe. If the route was longer, heading further west or to the United Kingdom, they demanded up to 10,000 euros per person," stated Maciej Wąsik during a press conference.

"This would have been one of many cases that could have been passed over, as our services are quite effective in this area. We apprehend many smugglers and couriers attempting to smuggle people into Western Europe. However, this would have been the case if not for the fact that when the prosecution filed a motion for arrest, and the arrest was granted, bail was submitted to the court by public figures. The bail pertained to Ewa M., and two Civic Platform MPs, Tomasz Olichwer and Tomasz Aniśko, vouched for this individual (...). Other widely known public figures also submitted bail, including the former Deputy Commissioner for Human Rights, Hanna Machińska, the Deputy Director of the Powszechny Theatre in Warsaw, Tomasz Sztarbowski, and the Director of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Joanna Mytkowska," he continued.

"I want to emphasize that Ewa M. led a group involved in smuggling. This operation had been ongoing for at least a year and a half, and she also engaged in other types of activities. For instance, she organized fundraising drives on popular platforms used for collecting donations for refugees. In this way, she deceived people, asking for donations that were, in fact, for criminal activities," he added.

14:30

Wąsik:

I'd like to ask what Tusk's reaction will be to these MPs, what will he do?

- Certain questions arise for the Civic Platform MPs who vouched for Ewa M. Do they know her personally? What were their motives? Do they cooperate with this woman? What is the scope of this cooperation? Or perhaps if they don't know her, why did they provide such a guarantee, who asked them to do it? Who persuaded them to do it? Or maybe the situation is that they know this woman and that's partly why they voted against the barrier on the border, because these MPs voted against the barrier on the border. The barrier on the border hinders the actions of smugglers, and these MPs voted against the barrier on the border and are vouching for a smuggler who led a group, who was detained by Polish services, who cooperated with several foreigners in order to transport people from the Belarusian border to other Western European countries, taking enormous sums of money for it - stated Maciej Wąsik during a press conference.

- I would like to ask what Donald Tusk's reaction will be to these MPs, what will he do? Will he remove them from the electoral lists? Did the voters of these MPs give them a mandate to provide guarantees for individuals who lead smuggling groups? I leave these questions in the public domain. I hope that Civic Platform will respond to this soon - he added.

Sikorski and Ozdoba Clash: Deputy Minister Interrupts Press Conference, Attempts to Present MEP with Gazprom-Logo T-Shirt

Jacek Ozdoba interrupted the press conference of Radosław Sikorski and Aleksandra Wiśniewska. The politician from Suwerenna Polska (Sovereign Poland) intended to present the former Minister of Foreign Affairs with a "gift" – a t-shirt of a German sports club bearing the Gazprom logo.

- Oh, here are the guys from PiS. Explain yourselves - stated Radosław Sikorski as Jacek Ozdoba, accompanied by Piotr Cieplucha, appeared at the press conference. - You're dealing in Polish visas, explain yourselves. How much money did you take for Polish visas? - the MEP continued to ask, to which the Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment responded: "calm down, Radek," "Mr. Reset."

- Where is the Ministry of Justice? Why isn't the prosecutor's office working yet? - Sikorski pressed. In response, Ozdoba announced they had a "gift" for the politician. - This is a Gazprom t-shirt, a German team, a perfectly fitting t-shirt for you - stated the MP from Suwerenna Polska, who then tried to hand the t-shirt to Sikorski several times.

- You're dealing in Polish visas, you're taking bribes, you're thieves - Sikorski shouted over Ozdoba, repeatedly emphasizing that the SP politician was not invited to the conference and calling for him to "leave."

At one point, Ozdoba approached the microphones. - You have before you at this moment a man responsible for the most pro-Russian government in the history of the Third Polish Republic - he declared. Shortly after, Sikorski said goodbye and left, and the Deputy Minister's statement was interrupted by the press conference organizers. After a dozen seconds of verbal sparring, Ozdoba also retreated from the cameras, and Aleksandra Wiśniewska spoke again.

14:32

Kaleta to Trzaskowski: You have time to travel around Poland, campaigning for Civic Platform. What steps will you take regarding the directors of these two institutions?
This list also includes other public figures. Namely, Mr. Sztarbowski, the Deputy Director of the Powszechny Theatre, and Ms. Joanna Mytkowska, the Director of the Museum of Modern Art. Both of these institutions are under the supervision of Rafał Trzaskowski, so I am also directing a question to him. Rafał Trzaskowski, do you have time to travel around Poland, campaigning for Civic Platform, what will you do under your supervisory authority regarding individuals who are providing bail for suspects in such serious matters? Bail in cases related to the security of Poland's borders, our country's internal security, but also the security of the European Union. What steps will you take regarding the directors of these two institutions - said Sebastian Kaleta at a press conference. - I have one more question, because on the list of guarantors is Dr. Machińska, Adam Bodnar's right-hand woman when he was the Ombudsman. Today, Adam Bodnar is Donald Tusk's candidate for the Sejm. Does Adam Bodnar support such actions by his right-hand woman as Ombudsman? Does he support providing bail in matters as serious as the one we are discussing today - he added.

14:35

Kaleta:

We're Dealing with a Major PO Smuggling Scandal; Influential Figures, Politicians, and Activists Bash Polish Uniforms, Demanding to Let People In, Then We'll See

- We are dealing with a major smuggling scandal involving PO. This is because for several months now, prominent politicians and intellectuals supporting PO have been spreading false information about what is happening on the Polish-Belarusian border. Influential creators, politicians, and activists, while verbally assaulting the Polish uniform, are saying that people should be let in, and that we shouldn't build a barrier, because that's how they voted in the Polish Sejm - said Sebastian Kaleta at a press conference.

- It turns out that an activist from these movements is suspected by the court and arrested for organizing a criminal group that facilitated the smuggling of illegal migrants. This is a well-known activist within the opposition circles, which is why it is not difficult to find information about her public activities. What do you think, in the upcoming referendum, what did Ms. Ewa M. encourage her friends and other Poles to do? She wrote on social media, four times, "YES" - he continued.

14:35

Bochenek:

If, God forbid, PO with Tusk Took Power, Illegal Immigrants Could Be in Our Country Within Weeks, Months

- Ladies and gentlemen, the stance of PO is known to us, as PO politicians today are evading a clear answer because they know that Poles do not support the compulsory relocation of illegal migrants in Poland. However, due to the ongoing parliamentary campaign, they are not expressing a clear position on this matter, but in the European Parliament, where decisions are made, there are votes on these issues, and Platforma [PO] politicians, the opposition, vote for the compulsory relocation of illegal migrants – said Rafał Bochenek at a press conference.

- If, God forbid, PO with Donald Tusk took power here, within a few weeks, within a few months, they could find themselves here, in our country. We will certainly not allow this, and PiS is a guarantor that the policy of compulsory relocation of illegal migrants will not be implemented in Poland – he added.

Pekao Vice-President: Polish Banking Transformation Can Be a Model for Many Countries. We are the Most Stable Sector in Europe, and Also One of the Most Innovative
- The transformation of Polish banking can be a model for many countries. We are the most stable sector in Europe, and also one of the most innovative. We have used the last 6 years at Pekao for a huge technological leap. Looking to the future, we are focusing on: the world of mobile technologies, personalization, and artificial intelligence - said Pekao Vice-President Błażej Szczecki during the Krynica Forum. - Education is necessary, as shown by recent Pekao research on online security. This is the moment when cyber-education should be included in school curricula. How to behave safely online, what digital identity is, how to protect one's sensitive data – this is fundamental knowledge that everyone who uses the internet, regardless of age, should possess - continued Pekao Vice-President Błażej Szczecki in Krynica.

17:02

Czarzasty:

The Left Will Seek to Establish a Parliamentary Inquiry Committee into the Visa Scandal in the New Sejm
- As the Left, in the new Sejm, very soon, we will be requesting the establishment of a parliamentary inquiry committee regarding this scandal, permeated with corruption from beginning to end, both political and administrative [...], we will reach every one of you and check who took bribes, how much, and for what. Who did what dirty deeds, how much, and who profited from it all - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in Włocławek.

17:04

Czarzasty Appeals to KO and Third Way Leaders: Let's Stand on One Stage During the October 1st March and Sign a Parliamentary Pact
- October 1st will likely see a large march. I want to say clearly and precisely about one thing, I want to say what I think people are thinking. We travel, we talk to people. I am addressing Donald Tusk, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Szymon Hołownia - I believe we should stand on one stage during this march - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty in Włocławek. - You know that on June 4th there were various situations, various interpretations, and various voices regarding its organization. I thank everyone who is organizing it, but I repeat to Donald, Władysław, Szymon: let's stand on one stage. Not like one is on one stage, two are riding in a car, and two got lost in the bushes. It cannot be like that - he continued. - People expect us to stand on one stage and tell them: vote for three formations, because if any formation does not enter Parliament, PiS with the brown Konfederacja will rule Poland. [...] Egos must be put in our pockets. On behalf of Lewica, I say: I am willing to step back 2-4 steps, but people expect shared hope from the opposition - he went on to say. - I also want us to finally sign an agreement on October 1st regarding a parliamentary pact - namely, that after winning the elections, we will co-govern. What are we ashamed of? Why shouldn't we tell people this? - appealed the co-chairman of New Left.

17:05

Morawiecki:

Don't Let Tusk Fool You. Irregularities Concerning Several Hundred Visas Identified Through Our Control Procedures. Polish Services Have Taken Appropriate Action
Donald Tusk, along with Angela Merkel and Weber, is responsible for the disastrous migration policy. A policy that led to a true invasion of thousands of illegal immigrants into Europe. It was those irresponsible decisions by European bureaucrats that resulted in rapes, robberies, street destruction, looting of European cities, chaos, and conflagration. Tusk is posturing as someone who wants to ensure the safety of Poles. It's a tragicomedy, utter falsehood, and hypocrisy. Mr. Tusk, do you really think this deception will work? Wasn't it you who threatened Poland with consequences, i.e., penalties for not accepting dangerous, illegal immigrants? We remember well what you said. We also remember what members of Civic Platform said - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in a recording published on social media. - We know perfectly well that you have a short memory, Mr. Tusk, and Poles know it too. They remember perfectly well what a scoundrel you are. The mandatory relocation mechanism is supported and implemented by the European People's Party. The party whose leader Tusk was until recently, and which Weber leads today. This mechanism allows for the unlimited acceptance of illegal migrants into EU countries, including Poland, or imposes huge financial penalties for non-compliance. Such a mechanism is an incentive for human traffickers. An incentive for gangs to send new migrants, mainly young men, to Europe. We've seen this recently on the Italian island of Lampedusa, which is stormed daily by migrants from North Africa. We do not agree to this mechanism. Donald Tusk, however, for Brussels privileges and positions, is ready to sell Polish interests and endanger the safety of women and children. Are there districts of terror in Poland? No. Is there fear in Poland of going out on the streets in the evening, fear of rape? No. Are cars burning in Poland, are shops being robbed, are drug gangs fighting on the streets? No - the Prime Minister emphasized. - There is no problem with illegal immigrants in Poland. Tusk is trying to create an alternative, false reality. And he is bringing up the issue of visa irregularities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs because he wants to gain political capital from it. He wants to create a sense of threat based on a lie that will be repeated a thousand times by foreign media favorable to him. This is not his first such trick. Let's not be fooled by him. The irregularities concerning several hundred visas – I repeat – several hundred visas have been identified by us through control procedures. Polish services have taken appropriate action, and individuals suspected of breaking the law have been identified. The prosecutor's office has brought charges against 7 people, and 3 of them are in custody. I am convinced that they will face appropriate punishment. I have also instructed the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to dismiss officials who have failed to fulfill any of their duties. This is how an efficient state works; we do not underestimate anything that concerns the safety of Poles, and we burn out any unlawful actions with a hot iron. This is how we differ from PO. The Neumann doctrine, i.e., defending one's own to the end because they are one of us, does not apply here. Tusk wanted to let them in, and if he comes to power, he will let in as many immigrants as Germany tells him to. Remember, he wanted to do it once, he would do it again. We cannot allow this scoundrel to return to power. We will not allow the import of fear and violence into Poland. Polish families are and will remain safe as long as PiS governs - Morawiecki stressed.

Poles Lead the EU in NATO Accelerator Applications, New Polish Program IDA Launches

PARTNERSHIP TEXT

For NATO and the Ministry of National Defence (MON) recruitment, the Polish Development Fund S.A. (PFR) acted as the national recruitment point. Polish innovators submitted the highest number of applications to the program among European Union countries.

The DIANA accelerator aims to create conditions within the NATO alliance for both the development of breakthrough technologies and their adaptation for defense and security applications. DIANA will support innovators by enabling them quick access to mentors, a network of trusted investors, and specialists in tenders and military procurement. On the other hand, it will also assist partner countries in rapidly acquiring the most promising innovative solutions from participants in the DIANA accelerator.

Poland with the Most Applications in the EU

On June 7, PFR and MON signed an agreement to jointly promote and inform about the accelerator. Entities registered in Poland submitted the most solutions among candidates from EU countries, ranking fourth globally, behind the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

The largest number of applications came from the USA – 215 applications. This was followed by 211 from Canada and 182 from the United Kingdom. Poland submitted 77 applications, followed by Turkey (75), Italy (60), Norway (43), Germany (41), Finland (38), the Netherlands (37), Spain (36), and Estonia (35). Other Alliance countries submitted fewer than 30 applications. In total, over 1,200 entities applied for the first round of the DIANA accelerator. The recruitment results will be announced on October 7.

DIANA Analyzes Applications, IDA Launches

While NATO analyzes applications for the accelerator, PFR, in collaboration with MON, PGZ Naval Shipyard, and other partners, is launching the Polish acceleration program IDA – Innovative Dual-Use Technology Accelerator. This program is designed for innovative entities registered in Poland who wish to collaborate with the defense sector. On September 21, at 1:00 PM, we invite you to the first webinar, during which participants will learn who the program is intended for, what benefits accelerated entities can gain, and what challenges await them. You are invited to register via the link below.

More information about the IDA program can be found on the accelerator's website.

Tusk:

We Cannot Pretend That Evil is Not Happening in Poland, and We Cannot Pretend Our Homeland is in Real Danger

- We cannot pretend that evil is not happening in Poland, and we cannot pretend that our homeland is in real danger. Due to the rule of people who think only of their privileges, their money, their dirty dealings. Which we are currently witnessing (...) In this campaign, we have spent our days explaining to Polish women and men how important this change is, how intense the evil occurring in Poland is. Simultaneously, we have worked for long months on a program for Poland – 100 concrete points for 100 days, but also a program for the entire decade, because I believe in us, I believe in myself, I believe in your strength – said Donald Tusk at a meeting with residents in Skarżysko-Kamienna.

17:27

Tusk:

They will turn everything upside down, using state television, just as they did with everything else

- They will turn everything upside down, using this state television, just as they did with everything else. I spoke about Bartek, about the trees. I remember that when they came to power 8 years ago, they shouted that it was very important for them that no one privatized forests, because forests are so essential. They carried out the biggest felling and export of Polish forests, because it wasn't timber anymore, but forests to China. They said, they were full of platitudes, that they want to protect Polish farmers, that today Morawiecki makes threatening faces, sometimes he dresses up in a uniform and pretends to be a soldier, sometimes a stern leader, all of this would be laughable if it didn't concern the interests of, for example, Polish farmers - stated Donald Tusk in Skarżysko-Kamienna.

17:32

Tusk:

We all wish Wawrzyk a speedy recovery. But this situation echoes other similar incidents happening in Poland with disturbing frequency
- I was traveling to you today, deeply moved by the news, all of us in Poland are deeply moved by the news concerning the fate of former minister Wawrzyk. The reports we are receiving are not that dramatic. Certainly, and I say this from the heart, we all wish him a speedy recovery, because we wish no one misfortune, mental breakdown, or any more serious troubles - said Donald Tusk in Skarżysko-Kamienna. - It seems nothing tragic has happened - that's good. But this situation reminds me, and certainly you, of several other very similar situations that have been occurring in Poland for years with disturbing intensity. Remember the respirator scandal, where the equipment didn't work […], strange things also happened then. Suddenly, the person responsible for those respirator machinations, he somehow went to Albania with some special services, later returned in an urn, and to this day, it's not entirely clear if it was him. These are not jokes, because we are talking about either mysterious deaths or mysterious disappearances, and in the background, there are dirty money, dirty business, and the egoism of this government - he continued.

17:35

Tusk:

Morawiecki is the Republic's Premier Allotment Gardener

- As a rule, the PiS government divides into two main groups. One group has two left hands when it comes to work and a complete lack of competence. The other, more competent half, earns big money on the side from decisions that are fine for them, but not alright for any of you. They are not in our interest (...) One could say that PiS, in a certain segment, greatly cares for those who work for the state. Obajtek doesn't suffer from poverty, Morawiecki, well, you know, the Republic's premier allotment gardener - said Donald Tusk during a meeting with residents in Skarżysko-Kamienna.

17:42

Tusk:

I didn't sack Wawrzyk, but Morawiecki and Kaczynski. Today they try to suggest this man's drama is the opposition's fault
- What we are witnessing today is, in a nutshell, the entire politics of PiS, Kaczynski, and Morawiecki. We already knew for many days about the drama of this man [Piotr Wawrzyk]; we spoke about how PiS, as is often the case in such situations, looks for a scapegoat or a stooge to blame later. And today they are saying he is a victim of the opposition - stated Donald Tusk in Skarżysko-Kamienna. - Contrary to what Pis-owska television and PiS propaganda say, I haven't governed in Poland for the last 8 years. It wasn't me who arrested Mr. Wawrzyk's closest associate in April in connection with some shady dealings. It wasn't me who sacked Mr. Wawrzyk [from the government]; it was Morawiecki and Kaczynski. And today they are trying to suggest that this man's drama is the opposition's fault, or classically, Tusk's fault - he continued.

18:10

Tusk:

After the Election, We Will Cooperate with Everyone Ready to Take the Simplest Oath
- I don't have a monopoly on being right on all matters. I really want to and I extend my hand to everyone without exception, regardless of their views, traditions, where they were born, what school they attended, and even what party they belong to or belonged to. If we share the same conviction that power is taken to ensure that as much freedom and money as possible remains with every person, that one seeks power not to ever use it against another person, that it truly serves your interests, not the interests of power, then such diverse people will fit on these same lists, like the leader of AgroUnia, like Marzena Okła-Drewnowicz, the leader of our list in Świętokrzyskie, or at the very end there is such a tall guy - stated Donald Tusk in Skarżysko-Kamienna. - We will cooperate, we will not attack each other, we will cooperate after the elections with everyone who is ready to take this simplest oath: I am here to help Poland, Polish women and Poles, I am for freedom, democracy, Europe, I am against theft and lies - he continued.

18:33

Morawiecki:

Tusk was like a thief, he'll give you nothing and take everything
- Today, here from Ełk, I want to warn all Poles about the return of the evil that ran rampant for many years before 2015. Not everything was bad, but the rule of Tusk's liberals was fundamentally evil. Tusk himself was like a thief, he'll give you nothing, he'll take everything from you, so beware of him - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in Ełk.

18:41

Morawiecki:

Lies and Propaganda Are the Only Weapons of the Other Side

- I want to ask you to mobilize to the maximum and to be active in repelling these lies and propaganda, because these lies and propaganda are the only weapons of the other side – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Ełk.

18:42

Morawiecki:

I don't know what Grodzki will say in his address, I'd advise turning off TVs like in Jaruzelski's times
- The visas that were granted through dishonest proceedings, there were several hundred, I repeat, several hundred, there were several hundred applications. Granted visas, maybe 250, or 300. [...] I don't know what Speaker Grodzki will say in his address, I would advise everyone, by the way, to turn off their televisions like in Jaruzelski's times, because that's what we used to do then, when Jaruzelski spoke, people would either turn off the TV or switch to another channel - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Ełk.

18:45

Morawiecki:

They Want to Turn Poland into a Second Lampedusa
They have hidden plans, hidden intentions, they have concealed objectives. They want to attract hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants from all over the world here; look at what is happening in Lampedusa. They want to turn Poland into a second Lampedusa – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Ełk.

18:50

Morawiecki:

Look who they've put on their lists – people facing serious prosecutorial charges
- Don't be fooled by the fraudsters, these dyed-in-the-wool foxes, because the most important thing is to react whenever dishonesty appears, and just look at who they are putting on their lists. We burn out any irregularities with a hot iron as soon as we encounter them, while they apply Neumann's doctrine, which means defending their own at all costs, even against the facts and even the extremely dishonest. Look who they've put on their lists – people facing serious prosecutorial charges, because this is how they operate; this is the philosophy of Civic Platform – Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in Ełk.

19:08

Morawiecki:

We Will Extend the Ban, Despite Lack of EC Approval – This is the Fundamental Difference Between Us and PO, Who Go to Brussels on Their Knees, Begging Like Dogs for Consent

- I have just learned that these remedial measures, i.e., the import ban, have been lifted. What does that mean? It means Tusk and Kołodziejczak got the cold shoulder, they achieved nothing. But what else does it mean? That's why I said it's a bittersweet gift, because I would have preferred them to simply extend the import ban, just as we forced the European Commission to accept our ultimatum back then. I would have preferred that, but they didn't do it. And you know what we will do now? We will extend this ban, despite the lack of the European Commission's consent. We will not listen to Berlin, we will not listen to von der Leyen, Tusk, or Weber. We will do it because it is in the interest of the Polish farmer. And this is precisely the fundamental difference between us and Civic Platform, who go to Brussels on their knees, begging like dogs for some kind of approval, and on top of that, they get slapped in the face – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Ełk.

19:13

Morawiecki:

Either Extend the Import Ban, or We Will Do It Ourselves - Starting Tonight at Midnight

- I said this a few days ago, either you extend the import ban, or we will do it ourselves, and we will do it ourselves, starting tonight at midnight. That's why it's worth looking at who you vote for, it's worth asking yourself a fundamental question - do you want a liberal, thieving Poland, or do you want a Poland, a government, that certainly makes mistakes sometimes, but look at what we have managed to achieve. Today I was at a meeting with local government officials in your voivodeship, in Szczytno, and there I heard from several dozen local government officials, some of whom may be here in the hall too, that never in the history of this voivodeship have there been such investments from the central budget, from the budget of the Polish state, as during the PiS government - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in Ełk.

Grodzki's Address Poses 5 Questions to Government Officials:

This Truth Must Reach Everywhere.
The transfer of people occurred practically without any control, which could have led to hundreds of individuals recognized as terrorists, threatening our security, entering the European Union. This is the biggest scandal we have faced in the 21st century. Corruption at the highest levels of power, bringing direct threat upon all of us. And by people who have their mouths full of phrases about security - stated Tomasz Grodzki in a televised address. - I ask those of you who haven't yet heard about the visa scandal - look into various sources of information. Talk to your neighbors, your children and grandchildren. This truth must reach everywhere. In your name, I pose five questions to the highest representatives of the PiS government, obligated to care for our security: to President Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński, Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau, and Minister of Interior and Administration Mariusz Kamiński - emphasized the Marshal of the Senate. Below is the full text of the speech. ***** We look with disbelief at the subsequent information coming to light in connection with the PiS government's visa scandal. Polish visas, documents authorizing entry into our country, were being sold at stalls in countries in Asia and Africa. Thanks to this, hundreds of thousands of migrants have flowed into our Homeland. Not only did they likely profit from this procedure, but according to media reports, it was organized by top Polish officials. I address you today as the Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland in the form of a televised address, because it is the only form, the only way, for this truth to reach everyone. So that it must also be broadcast on public television, which a large portion of you watch. Top state officials organized a large-scale transfer of people to Poland. As the media reports, over 250,000 work visas were issued to citizens of African and Asian countries, including Muslim ones, over the last 30 months. Visas for which bribes had to be paid to the appropriate individuals. In this way, hundreds of thousands of people found themselves in our country with work permits. Photos of queues in front of Polish consulates in African and Asian countries are circulating on the internet, as well as videos where some immigrants advise others on the easiest way to obtain a Polish visa. The transfer of people occurred practically without any control, which could have led to hundreds of individuals recognized as terrorists, threatening our security, entering the European Union. This is the biggest scandal we have faced in the 21st century. Corruption at the highest levels of power, bringing direct threat upon all of us. And by people who have their mouths full of phrases about security. I ask those of you who haven't yet heard about the visa scandal - look into various sources of information. Talk to your neighbors, your children and grandchildren. This truth must reach everywhere. In your name, I pose five questions to the highest representatives of the PiS government, obligated to care for our security: to President Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński, Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau, and Minister of Interior and Administration Mariusz Kamiński: Since when did you know about this procedure and its scale? Who among you, your collaborators, or officials benefited materially from this transfer? Who headed this gang, and who has been designated as the scapegoat by the authorities? Have you received signals from allied NATO countries that among the migrants you admitted, there are also individuals suspected of terrorism? When will you answer these questions to the public at an open press conference? This matter is ruining our country's reputation as a responsible member of the democratic community of the free world and jeopardizing our security, which is why it must be thoroughly investigated. Time does not allow for the presentation of all PiS scandals, the number of which runs into the dozens, and which you may not have heard about on public television. We spoke loudly about them in the Senate of the Republic of Poland during the concluding X term. Thanks to the unwavering stance of the ladies and gentlemen senators of the democratic majority, who steadfastly defended the Constitution, the rule of law, the rights of women, children, the sick, and people with disabilities, we have earned the title of a "redoubt of democracy," where good triumphs over evil, and truth triumphs over lies. And it will be like this now too.

Ziobro:

Soon I Will Reveal True Corruption Scandals, Far Larger in Scale, During PO's Rule

- I will say more - soon I will reveal true corruption scandals, far larger in scale, from the period of PO's rule, because we have found queries of files and cases swept under the rug, related precisely to the visa procedure. Back then, this procedure differed from what we are doing in that the state was sweeping cases under the rug. Decision-makers were not held accountable, including political accountability - he continued.
