Zgorzelski on the KO Councillor-Doctor:
I Wouldn't Be Surprised If It Turns Out There Are More Such Cases.
- As you, the editor, well know, we spoke briefly before the program, that this is simply one case [of a KO councillor-doctor] that came to light because the doctor was a councillor and had to submit a declaration, but I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out there are more such cases, where doctors, who are the only ones in the region and the hospital director truly has a limited choice, or no choice at all, to either hire an anesthesiologist who demands such sums of money, or face the spectre of being unable to perform surgeries, then these directors probably make such decisions - stated Piotr Zgorzelski in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News's "Graffiti".
07:48
Zgorzelski's Ambiguous Statement on RPO Selection:
We Don't Know How Many Candidates There Will Be.
- Regarding the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), the leadership and the club, concerning Mateusz Szpytma, the situation is diagnosed and we support it. As for the candidates for the Ombudsman (RPO) - we don't know how many there will be - stated Piotr Zgorzelski on Polsat News' "Graffiti."
07:52
Zgorzelski on the Selection of the IPN President:
The Issue Will Be Resolved by Summer Vacation.
- I think that by summer vacation, meaning by the end of July, this issue [the selection of the IPN president] will be resolved. We would like it to be [positive for Mateusz Szpytma] - stated Piotr Zgorzelski on Polsat News' "Graffiti."
07:56
Zgorzelski on Revoking Zelenskyy's Order:
As far as I understand, the President will announce his decision any day now.
- As far as I know, or understand, perhaps better said, President [Karol Nawrocki] will likely announce his decision on this matter any day now. I have the impression that if the President had wanted to make a decision about revoking [the Order of the White Eagle], he probably would have already done so. In my opinion, this delay was necessary to give the President's team time, I think, to establish dialogue with the Ukrainian side through diplomatic channels - stated Piotr Zgorzelski on Polsat News's "Graffiti".
- If I had to guess today, I believe the delay suggests he might not do it after all - he continued.
08:02
Zgorzelski on Petru:
We Wish Rysio a Good Journey, Let Him Do His Thing.
"We wish Rysio [Ryszard Petru] a good journey, let him do his thing [regarding the creation of the so-called 'Confederation Light']" - stated Piotr Zgorzelski on Polsat News' "Graffiti".
08:03
Zgorzelski on Parliamentary Elections:
PSL to Run Under Its Own Banner.
- The PSL will run under its own banner [in the parliamentary elections]. Temptations are coming from all sides, but we are not susceptible to temptations - stated Piotr Zgorzelski on Polsat News' "Graffiti."
08:36
Morawiecki:
The State of Tusk and Kacprzyk is a State of Incredible Contempt for Citizens
- First and foremost, he is an incredible symbol of Donald Tusk's power and domain. The state of healthcare, belonging to Tusk and Kacprzyk, is a state of incredible contempt for citizens - said Mateusz Morawiecki on RMF FM, when asked about doctor Dawid Kacprzyk.
- How can you tell people that there is a lack of money in healthcare, how can you simultaneously lengthen queues, state that unfortunately some medical procedures will not be possible, and at the same time allow this caste of pharaohs from Civic Platform to simply milk the state - he continued.
08:40
Morawiecki on Ideas to Reform Healthcare:
I Urge Those in Power to Take My Call Seriously.
- I have proposed 5 points that will help heal healthcare at this stage, and I strongly urge those in power to take my call seriously - said Mateusz Morawiecki on RMF FM.
- The Prime Minister has already adopted one of the points from me, but there are 4 others remaining. I propose the elimination of pay caps and have suggested a certain rate; it can be debated what that rate should be, but let there be a maximum rate, mind you, for on-call duties, for remote work, right, so that it doesn't turn out that some doctors are working 25 hours a day [...] I have proposed timekeeping - he continued.
- I believe that these points I have proposed will likely be adopted by the current Prime Minister through the back door - he went on to say.
08:46
Morawiecki Responds to Czarnek's Proposal:
I Disagree with Blocking Military Aid to Ukraine.
"No, I do not agree with blocking military aid, because I would prefer Ukrainian soldiers to die in Ukrainian tanks rather than Polish soldiers dying in Polish tanks," said Mateusz Morawiecki in RMF FM, when asked if he agreed with Przemysław Czarnek's proposal to block aid to Ukraine if the name of a Ukrainian military unit is not changed.
08:54
Morawiecki on the Second Tax Threshold:
We Also Analyzed Raising it to 200 Thousand.
- The tax threshold needs to be raised, I proposed that the tax threshold be raised and also to consider the indexation of this threshold - said Mateusz Morawiecki in RMF FM, when asked about Przemysław Czarnek's proposal to raise the second tax threshold.
- This sum could be even larger, in our analyses, the 'Work for Poland' team also analyzed raising it to 200 thousand - he continued, when asked if he agreed with the 180,000 PLN sum proposed by Czarnek.
08:58
- I am curious whether the German police would have reacted similarly if there had been a Jewish delegation in Berlin that wanted to commemorate some Jewish symbol in a similar way - said Mateusz Morawiecki in RMF FM, when asked about Robert Bąkiewicz's actions in Berlin.
- It is an absolute scandal, what happened in Berlin, that our patriots were attacked in this way. However, we, our patriotic circles, should be aware that today Donald Tusk is using this as a cover for the biggest Civic Platform scandal in recent years - he continued.

Kidawa-Błońska:
Disgusting Attack by Right-Wing Media and Politicians on Me and My Husband. We Were Never in Any VIP Lounge
"Disgusting attack by right-wing media and politicians on me and my husband. I have never been treated at the Southern Hospital. My husband was admitted there due to a serious health condition. We have never been in any ‘VIP lounge’. Until yesterday, I didn't even know such a thing existed. The hospital matter needs to be thoroughly clarified based on truth, not lies," wrote Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska on X.
Obrzydliwy atak prawicowych mediów i polityków na mnie i mojego męża.

Suspect in the Murder of a Russian National in Biała Podlaska Apprehended by Police and ABW
"Suspect in the murder of a Russian national in Biała Podlaska apprehended by Lublin police and the ABW! He is using a Georgian passport. Services are working to identify the mastermind," wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on X.
Podejrzewany o udział w zabójstwie Rosjanina w Białej Podlaskiej zatrzymany przez lubelskich policjantów i ABW! Posługuje się gruzińskim paszportem. Służby pracują nad ustaleniem zleceniodawcy.

Czarnek Asks Which PO Politicians Used the VIP Lounge at the Hospital:
We Demand Answers.
- Today, in front of the entrance to the Southern Hospital, we are asking the following question: who? Who? Was it Ms. Roguska, or Kidawa-Błońska, or Szczerba, or Tusk, or Kierwiński, or Lubnauer, or Zielińska, or Piekarska, Gajewska, Domański, Gronkiewicz-Waltz, or Łoboda, or perhaps all of them together who used this VIP lounge at the Southern Hospital? - said Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference.
- We demand an answer to this question - he continued.
11:37
Czarnek:
Let's Not Talk About a System Paying Doctors Unbelievable Money, Because That's Not the Case
- Doctors earn differently, said Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference.
- A doctor on an employment contract at a clinic in Lublin earns 12,000 PLN gross. A doctor with a specialization. These are not exaggerated rates, quite the opposite, one could even say - he continued.
- Let's not talk here about a system that pays doctors unbelievable money, because that's not the case. There are doctors who work on contract, and now it's a matter of valuing services. Some services are very highly valued, and based on this strong valuation of services in district hospitals, even specialist doctors with extensive experience employed on contract can earn over 100,000 PLN, performing a huge number of procedures - he went on to say.
- Here, indeed, a systemic reaction is necessary, and we have undertaken it, because the most important thing is to fill the medical staff shortages - he added.
11:42
Szłapka confirms candidacy for Ombudsman:
As a party, we are collecting signatures.
- Yes, it is a very good candidacy [for Sylwia Gregorczyk-Abram for the position of Ombudsman] and as a party, we are collecting signatures for this candidacy. So, yes, we will be nominating the attorney - said the spokesperson - stated Adam Szłapka in an interview with TVP Info.
13:49
- Early this morning, the Police apprehended an individual suspected of murdering a Russian national - stated Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference.
- We have managed to identify the person likely responsible for this murder. It is an individual [...] using a Georgian passport, a 36-year-old person, who is also being investigated by the Police for other crimes that have occurred previously in the country, including those from 2022 - he continued.
- We are working to determine who commissioned this murder - he added.
14:05
Kierwiński:
I Don't Know of a Situation Where the Health Minister is Responsible for Every Hospital's Situation
- I don't know of a situation where the Health Minister is responsible for the situation in every hospital - said Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference, when asked if the Health Minister should be dismissed in connection with the events at the Southern Hospital.
14:08
Kierwiński questioned about individuals using the VIP lounge at the hospital:
The politicians who were there will provide this information, if they wish.
- I think that those politicians who were there, and if they eventually wish to provide this information, they will provide it - said Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference, when asked if the public should know the names of politicians who used the VIP lounge at the Southern Hospital (excluding medical matters).
- This is extremely sensitive data, I don't know if everyone, depending on the ailment for which they were treated, I don't know if such information is desired... - he continued.
- So I think that those individuals, if they were treated there and wish to inform you about it, they will inform you. There is a certain natural sense of one's most sensitive private matters, personal affairs in this regard, and I think that should be respected - he continued, after a journalist pointed out that it wasn't about what these individuals were treated for, but who they were.
- In principle, I think that none of the politicians who were treated there have a problem with saying so - he added.
14:19
Kierwiński:
It's Not a Political Party Responsible for Scheduling or Doctor Staffing
- I'm listening to how much you all want to prove that any political party, in this case Civic Coalition, is responsible for scheduling or doctor staffing. No, it is not a political party, at least certainly not in Warsaw, and it will never be that way in Warsaw - said Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference.
14:38
- I did not use them - stated Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference, responding to a question about whether he had used the services of the South Hospital.
- Similarly, I have never used them - declared Tomasz Siemoniak.
14:40
"I hereby inform that on June 18, 2026, Dawid Kacprzyk, a councilor of the Ursus District Council of the Capital City of Warsaw, submitted a written statement of resignation from his councilor's mandate" - informed Dariusz Pastor, chairman of the Ursus District Council of the Capital City of Warsaw. The district office published a communication on this matter.
During a press conference held by Marcin Kierwiński and Tomasz Siemoniak, it was further announced that Dawid Kacprzyk had returned half a million zlotys to the account of the Southern Hospital.
14:54
Kosiniak-Kamysz:
US Responds Positively to Proposal for Permanent Base in Poland
- I had the opportunity to speak today with the Secretary of War, with Pete Hegseth [...] with the head of the Pentagon from the United States, we discussed cooperation, collective defense, matters related to Poland's security, and cooperation with the United States - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.
- I also received an official response to my letter from May 29th, expressing Poland's readiness to establish a permanent base for American troops on our territory, and I am pleased to inform you that the Secretary of War, along with his entire team, the United States, views Poland's proposal to establish a permanent base for American troops on our homeland's territory positively - he continued.
- I will read precisely a part, a fragment of this response [...]. "The United States' National Defense Strategy clearly indicates that the Department of War will prioritize engagement with model allies such as Poland, which are doing their part in allied defense. In this spirit, I am pleased to inform you that the Department of War is open to Poland's offer regarding the permanent stationing of American forces on its territory. However, the final decision will depend on the details of such an agreement - he went on to say.
15:07
Kosiniak-Kamysz:
NATO Has Decided to Develop Nuclear Deterrence Capabilities
"The Nuclear Planning Group, in which Poland participates, met, and NATO has decided to develop its nuclear deterrence capabilities. This is a response to the Russian Federation developing these capabilities," said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.
15:21
- We have our own bill, which we have already submitted [...] the government also once made a decision, but the president did not accept it, regarding earnings, remuneration. It is difficult to accept a situation where a doctor earning 40,000 zlotys receives a 14% raise, while at the same time a civil servant or teacher working for much less, sometimes for minimum wage or slightly above, receives a 3% raise, so I consider this unfair and unethical - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference, when asked about the postulate of legally limiting doctors' earnings.
- This is an issue that requires cooperation, and I would like there to be openness from the president's side to proceed judiciously - he continued.
- There was a time when healthcare earnings were too low. We were losing nurses and doctors who were leaving abroad. That time has definitively ended. Today, Poland is at the forefront, according to some statistics it is in the top five in terms of doctors' earnings, so we are certainly above average - he went on to say.
- We can make a decision here, but it must have the acceptance of the Presidential Palace - he added.
16:38
Tusk:
We are likely on a very good path to securing a decision on a permanent US base
- I read Secretary Hegseth's letter regarding this potential permanent American base in Poland with great satisfaction. I am an optimist, but I didn't expect such a swift and positive reaction to our decisions to prepare Poland, to urgently prepare Poland to host a permanent base - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in a conversation with journalists in Brussels.
- This response is not yet a final decision; Secretary Hegseth honestly says that further details and further arrangements are needed, but we are likely on a very good path to securing precisely this decision on a permanent American base - he continued.
16:42
Tusk on the assassination of a Russian citizen in Poland:
The concern pertains to the possibility of state terrorism.
- The potential assassin of the Russian citizen, a public critic of Putin's government, has been arrested by the Lublin Police and the ABW. We are treating this matter very, very seriously, because I won't hide the fact that there is a suspicion that there are principals behind this potential assassin - Prime Minister Donald Tusk told journalists in Brussels.
- I don't need to convince anyone that this concern pertains to the possibility of state terrorism. Meaning, this would be the first case not in Europe [...] but in Poland it would be the first case of a politically motivated assassination on behalf of a foreign state. I am saying these are hypotheses for now, but we must treat them very seriously - he continued.
16:46
Tusk on investigating irregularities at the Southern Hospital:
I will be determined and ruthless.
"I am very determined to get to the bottom of this matter, regardless of who these findings concern. We have, as I said, a pre-announced NIK (Supreme Audit Office) inspection, we have a prosecutor currently at the Southern Hospital, we have an audit commissioned by [...] the Warsaw local government" - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in a conversation with journalists in Brussels.
"I want to emphasize very clearly that we have these three dimensions, and in all these three matters, I will be truly determined and ruthless. Firstly, the actions of the young doctor" - he continued.
"Wherever there is a violation of the law, there will be not only legal but also political consequences. It is not my job to guess who, if anyone, used this doctor's services, who broke the law, but if such facts occur, there will also be political consequences" - he went on to say.
"The third matter is systemic. The third matter, meaning to avoid this type of incident in other hospitals" - he stressed.
16:54
Tusk:
I Will Not Allow Any Decisions That Lead to Doctors Working Less
- I already see a wave building up to attack the medical profession, which is absurd. I also see a whole host of brilliant ideas, but most of these ideas could bring about negative effects, for example, limiting access to medical assistance - Prime Minister Donald Tusk told journalists in Brussels.
- It is very important to me that, by absolutely cooperating with doctors, with the medical community, we eliminate abuses, also so that doctors who work hard, work a lot, can earn fairly and earn a lot - he continued.
- I will not allow any decisions that lead to doctors working less, because less work from doctors will mean less access, longer queues - he went on to say.
16:58
Tusk on Abuses and So-Called Salary Caps:
We Will Deal With It Soon.
- These limitations concerning abuses and excessive salary caps are something we will deal with in the near future - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a conversation with journalists in Brussels.
17:00
Tusk Appeals to His Supporters:
There's No Way to Justify Bad Things by Saying Others Did Worse.
- I am also addressing all the people who support me, who voted for me: there is no way to justify bad things by saying others did worse. And I would ask that no one uses this argument. It's not the case that if someone did very bad things, their successor can do slightly less bad things; that's out of the question - Prime Minister Donald Tusk told journalists in Brussels.
17:28
Nawrocki Met with Bardella:
A Very Good Conversation About the Future of Europe.
- Poland and France face many common challenges, as well as numerous opportunities for cooperation. Today in Warsaw, President Karol Nawrocki met with Jordan Bardella, a French MEP and leader of the National Rally - reported Paweł Szefernaker on social media.
- It was a very good conversation about the future of Europe, security, and the role of sovereign states within the European community - he noted.
Polska i Francja mają wiele wspólnych wyzwań, a także wiele możliwości współpracy. 18:17
Bosak After Meeting Bardella:
We Believe He Can Become President of France.
- Today is the first day of Jordan Bardella's visit to Poland. Together, we laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We have also just had a meeting where we discussed the future of Europe, political cooperation, and how to implement a sovereign, common-sense program based on recognizing the national interests of our countries, our nations. We have demands that we intend to realize. We believe that Jordan can become the President of France, and we believe that we will also play an increasingly significant role in Polish politics, which is why we are discussing what to do about the most pressing issues in Europe - stated Krzysztof Bosak at a press briefing.
18:19
Bosak After Meeting with Bardella:
We Jointly Express Opposition to Ukraine's Accession to the EU.
- We jointly express our opposition to Ukraine's accession to the EU. We believe that Ukraine does not meet the standards applicable in the EU, and it creates very serious and completely unfair economic competition for sectors that are very important in our countries - stated Krzysztof Bosak at a press briefing.
19:33
Kierwiński on the KO councilor-doctor:
We are dealing with a scandal regarding this man's earnings.
- We will see what the inspections reveal. There are very, very many of these inspections, and inspections from the City Hall, sent by Mayor Trzaskowski, inspections from the National Health Fund (NFZ), and also from the Supreme Audit Office (NIK). Based on the results of these inspections, I will be able to answer this question unequivocally. One thing is obvious - we are dealing with a scandal regarding this man's earnings. As soon as we learned about it, or as soon as I learned about it and the authorities did, this man ceased to be a member of KO - stated Marcin Kierwiński in "Fakty po faktach" on TVN24.
19:40
Kierwiński:
No one who crosses ethical boundaries or breaks the law can feel immune
- I don't know how he felt, he is not immune [former KO councilor], because anyone who crosses ethical boundaries will be assessed by the prosecutor's office, or breaks the law, cannot feel immune. We have been saying this consistently. That is the difference between us and our predecessors - stated Marcin Kierwiński on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".
19:47
Kierwiński:
Under our predecessors, bullets were delivered to Kaczyński, and half a ward was closed for him
- Under our predecessors, bullets were delivered to Mr. Kaczyński, half a ward was closed for Mr. Kaczyński, half a ward was closed for Mr. Kurski, as far as I remember, when his wife was giving birth, and these people are doing perfectly fine, they are not accounting for it. We are making tough decisions and we will hold them accountable - stated Marcin Kierwiński in "Fakty po faktach" on TVN24.
19:49
Kierwiński on the Former KO Councillor and Doctor:
I Know Nothing About Him Getting the Job Through Connections.
- I know nothing about him [the KO councillor getting a job in the hospital] through connections. Moreover, I am not aware of any case, and I say this with full responsibility, it would be extremely irresponsible if any politician made decisions about which doctor to hire - stated Marcin Kierwiński on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".
20:00
Kierwiński:
Kaczyński Still Dreams of Poland Leaving the EU
- I still believe that somewhere in the back of his mind, Kaczyński still dreams of leading Poland out of the EU. Thus, alienating and quarrelling with all our neighbours - stated Marcin Kierwiński in TVN24's "Fakty po faktach" (Facts After Facts).
