- Something happened that should not have happened, and most importantly, should not be repeated, because it concerns the management of municipal hospitals, salary control, the organization of the Emergency Department's work, supervision of on-call shifts, and above all, the equal treatment of patients. That is why we are consistently and thoroughly investigating this matter, conducting an audit, drawing personal consequences, referring the case to the prosecutor's office, and strengthening the control system - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.
- I also want to say today that a new supervisory board will be appointed at the Southern Hospital, and the supervisory boards of municipal medical companies will be strengthened and will not include politicians - he continued.
