Morawiecki:

If We Continue Our Mission, We Will Consider Establishing a Special Ministry

- We will consider, if the voters allow us and we can continue our mission, establishing a special ministry that will focus precisely on the energy transformation of the entire, large mining industry, of course, but also of the entire Polish energy sector, which is the lifeblood of the Polish economy. These organizational changes will serve to better manage the dialogue that was established in the social agreement - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the celebrations of the 43rd anniversary of the signing of the Jastrzębie Agreement.

Morawiecki:

I Discussed Accelerating the Establishment of the August Agreements Pavilion

- Today, I also spoke with Chairman Brudziński and Chairman Piotr Duda about accelerating the establishment of the August Agreements pavilion, so that it will be a wonderful place. Its model is here, as I understand it, before us, so that this wonderful pavilion testifies to the greatness and courage of the Silesian miners, thanks to whom this great day could become a reality - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the celebrations of the 43rd anniversary of the signing of the Jastrzębie Agreement.

- The Polish government, if it can continue the work of repairing the Republic of Poland after October 15th, will also contribute significantly to the creation of this great center of memory, a center of memory of those days, of the Jastrzębie agreements - he continued.

Morawiecki:

PiS Government is the Custodian of Solidarity's Ideals

- It is worth considering whether our political competitors, and this is a rhetorical question, would continue this work? How do they, and their leftist, post-communist allies, approach national memory? To tradition, faith, culture? To commemorating great anti-communist uprisings? This is a rhetorical question, we know how they approach it. Only our government, despite stumbles and mistakes, is the one that nurtures and will continue to nurture this memory, which is not solely a reference to history, because it is a link to the present and a signpost for the future. But also, it is the PiS government that is the custodian of Solidarity's ideals. I do not hesitate to say this. We are the ones who try to realize these ideals – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the celebrations of the 43rd anniversary of the signing of the Jastrzębie Agreement.

Morawiecki:

In 2015, Miners Were Shot at with Smoothbore Weapons

- Until the time when here, in Jastrzębie, in 2015, miners were shot at with smoothbore weapons. Here in Jastrzębie, difficult talks took place, and you know very well, brothers miners, smelters, what they led to back then. In reality, to the rapid closure of the entire mining industry - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the 43rd anniversary celebrations of the signing of the Jastrzębie Agreement.

Kaczyński Explains His Candidacy from Kielce: The Answer is Simple - Poland is One

- There is, of course, a question that is often asked, not necessarily always in good faith, but it is a valid question. Why am I here? Why is the party leader and the head of the ruling camp at the top of this list? Well, the answer is simple: Poland is one - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Kielce.

13:57

Kaczyński:

We Will Win, But Only If We Make a Truly Enormous Effort

- Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we will win, but only if we make a truly enormous effort. If we understand, including here, among these ladies and gentlemen who are standing behind me right now, for which I am grateful, that everyone has a chance, that one must fight for personal success, for the success of the list, and above all for the success of Poland - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Kielce.

14:01

Kaczyński:

Those who hugged Putin Cannot Govern. Tusk Cannot Get Another Chance. He Has Already Shown His True Colours

- It's like this: while some knew where the threat might come from, warning about it – I'm talking about my late brother – others were hugging Putin. Even at the Smoleńsk airport. And these people, such people, simply cannot govern. They cannot receive a new chance. Tusk cannot receive another chance. He has already shown what he is like – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Kielce.

14:06

Kaczyński:

We Had an Immature Government in Poland, a Government of Boys in Short Pants
– What is needed for the future of Poles to be truly safe and good, for Poland to develop, to get closer to the historically unattainable level of Western Europe? We have already taken a huge step. We are much, much closer, the closest in history, but we haven't achieved it yet. And what is the primary condition, beyond this victory of course? We must have a responsible, adult government. I don't say 'adult' by accident, because for 8 years we had an immature government in Poland, a government of boys in short shorts, or maybe pants – I don't want to go into that too much. In short pants – perhaps that's a good description – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Kielce.

14:06

Kaczyński:

They Wouldn't Defend the Border

- Would they show [determination] if our opponents were in power? Let's recall what Tusk said about the wall. What he said about it not being built, that this construction was, excuse me, I'll quote these words, a rampart, meaning an abuse. Later he claimed it was a scandal, that all that was missing was electricity to shock people. In short, he was decidedly against it, and today, regardless of what he says, how he tries to deceive and manipulate people, it's clear - they wouldn't defend the border - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Kielce.

14:17

Kaczyński:

They Have Their Decision-Making Centers Outside of Poland

- Because they are essentially an external party. These were the words used by President, General de Gaulle in relation to French communists, and this is how it is with them. They have their decision-making centers outside of Poland. And let's remember that everyone who votes for them, votes in the direction of Poles ceasing to be citizens - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Kielce.

14:20

Kaczyński:

We Will Win, But Only If We Fight. Fight Hard, Until the End

- Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we will win, but only if we fight. Fight hard, until the end. We will not pay attention to good polls or bad ones. We will only fight, fight, and fight again, and then we will most certainly win - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Kielce.

14:24

Kaczyński:

If this region were subordinate, the German-Russian alliance would be incredibly easy to achieve. We rejected this policy, and they will return to it.
The entire policy at the time was focused on two countries: Germany and Russia, while any kind of construction of a union, a synergistic union, of mutual support among Central and Eastern European states was abandoned. In some cases, there were hostile, unwilling, and provocative acts, and this was not only a great mistake, but it was something that was destroying us in every way, which was in the interest of Germany, which treats this region as its sphere of hegemony, and of course also in the interest of Russia. If this region were subordinate, then this German-Russian alliance would be incredibly easy to realize. We rejected this policy, and they will return to it – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Kielce.

Kaczyński Announces Presentation of PiS Program:

An Enormous Scope of Issues

- Let's convince people about the PiS program, and this program, I'll reveal a little bit of the mystery here, we will start presenting it slowly, slowly from tomorrow - stated Rafał Bochenek in Kielce.

- I will not reveal specific points at this moment, but from tomorrow we are presenting the PiS program, specifically its important points. The program, as is usual with us, covers an enormous scope of issues, sometimes even quite detailed ones. Such is the tradition of our party, but there are points that are worth presenting, worth showing, because they are truly significant. Although if we were to delve into them very deeply, with great attention, then practically all points of this program are enormously significant to one extent or another - emphasized Jarosław Kaczyński.

PiS Spot: "Good Politics Means Fulfilled Promises." Program Points Presented from Monday, Final Presentation on Saturday
PiS is presenting its "Good Politics Means Fulfilled Promises" spot today. This announces the presentation of the ruling party's new program, which is to be fully unveiled on Saturday, September 9th, with its individual points being presented starting Monday. As 300POLITYKA learns from PiS campaign staff, the film will be available in two versions: a short 60-second version and a longer 3-minute version. The narrator in both spots is party leader Jarosław Kaczyński, who, as campaign staff say, "presents PiS's political philosophy," including equal opportunities and the participation of Poles in the country's development, as well as bridging the gap between rural and urban living standards. "We are not campaigning against anyone. Our motivations are to change Poland for the better. Our policy is setting us on a path that leads to success for the entire society, the entire nation. Our aspiration and great hope is for the Polish countryside and Polish cities to live at the same level, so that we can all say: we are in a community that provides equal opportunities for everyone," Kaczyński says in the spot. "We do not agree with Poland being a semi-colonial country of cheap labor. We have pulled Poland out of the grip of impossibility, that worst of ailments. We have always been credible, and we have proven it," the PiS leader continues.
