Bąkiewicz Takes Last Place on PiS List in Radom. Suski: A Cultured, Likeable Man
- I arranged this list [PiS in Radom], so I know it. […] Indeed, Solidary Poland as a coalition partner put Mr. Bąkiewicz in the last spot. As in coalitions – for the coalition to last, certain things are done together. And indeed, we have Robert Bąkiewicz – Marek Suski said in an interview with Grzegorz Kępka on Polsat News’s “Graffiti”. - We met yesterday […]. I hadn’t known this gentleman before, beyond press reports. From the press reports, I thought to myself, “Who is this?”, there are various descriptions. And when we spoke – a cultured, likeable man – he continued.

08:27

Suski Asked if Mejza Will Run in Elections: I Think He'll Get the Last Spot
- I think so [Łukasz Mejza will run]. He is an ally of Adam Bielan's party, and as I said, in coalitions, for a coalition to last, compromises must be made - said Marek Suski in "Graffiti" on Polsat News. Asked if Mejza would get the last spot on the list, he replied: I think so, that's my impression.

08:33

Kamiński:

Enemies of our country will be tempted to manipulate these elections
- Undoubtedly, this pre-election period is a particularly sensitive time and requires immense concentration from our services, army, and officers. Certainly, the enemies of our country will be tempted to manipulate these elections. This is obvious to me, to stir up some wave of anxiety and chaos, so we are prepared for all types of provocations - said Mariusz Kamiński in an interview with Antoni Trzmiel in TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour". - Already today, across the border in Belarus, Belarusian-Russian armed forces exercises are taking place, including near our border. It is no coincidence that they are taking place on September 1st; this is precisely an element of psychological warfare - he continued.

08:35

Suski:

Kaczyński in Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Could Attract 2 Additional Mandates. That's the Goal, Not Fear.
- We analyzed who would better serve victory where, and the analyses showed that Jarosław Kaczyński in the Świętokrzyskie [voivodeship] could attract two additional mandates […]. That's the goal, not that someone is afraid of someone. Jarosław Kaczyński is afraid of neither Tusk nor Mentzen - Marek Suski said on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

08:42

Kamiński:

If a Critical Incident Occurs, All Belarusian Border Crossings with the EU Will Be Immediately Closed
- The signal was tough, unambiguous. We demanded the removal of the mercenary group from Belarus, which poses a threat to the entire region and also to Belarusian citizens. We demanded the removal of illegal immigrants from the border zone, and this message was very clear: if such a provocation occurs, if a critical incident occurs, all border crossings between Belarus and Europe, with the European Union, will be immediately closed [...] we will cut Belarus off from Europe entirely - said Mariusz Kamiński on TVP1. - The initial reactions [...] are, I don't want to prejudge here, promising in the context of illegal migrants - he continued.

08:46

Suski on Tusk: 'When I Listen to Our Opposition Leader, It Seems He Doesn't Love Poland. Perhaps He Loves Germans More.'
- Jarosław Kaczyński loves people very much. [...] Donald Tusk doesn't know Jarosław Kaczyński, and everyone judges by themselves. When I listen to our opposition leader's statements, I get the impression that he doesn't love Poland. Besides, he once said that Poland is such an abnormality. He preferred to be there in the Brussels corridors, preferred a job in Brussels, rather than be the Prime Minister of Poland - said Marek Suski in "Graffiti" Polsat News. - Jarosław Kaczyński would never do something like that. He loves Poland, he loves Poles, and Donald perhaps loves Germans more, I don't know. He preferred it there, rather than here - he added.

08:52

Kamiński:

Opposition List Leaders Known for Pro-Russian Views
- If I see that the opposition's list leaders are people known for their pro-Russian views, such as Kołodziejczak, who has repeatedly spoken in Russian media, who criticizes our policy towards Russia, our security policy, and he is the leader of an opposition list, if the leader of an opposition list is Mr. Wołoszański, about whom there are no doubts, because there are documents proving he was an agent of communist intelligence [...] what signal does that send to NATO countries, to our allies? That these people are being introduced into the mainstream of Polish political life, and what signal does it send to the Russians? That their pro-Russian politicians, known for pro-Russian views, represent an alternative to the current government - said Mariusz Kamiński on TVP1. - This is irresponsible, this is very stupid, thoughtless; responsible opposition cannot operate like this, such people cannot be entrusted with one's fate in such dangerous times - he continued.

Bank Pekao S.A. Introduces Identity Verification Using mDowód
From September 1, 2023, Bank Pekao S.A., based on the mObywatel application act, is introducing the possibility of customer identity verification using mDowód. This means that at Pekao bank branches and partner locations, customers will be able to conduct transactions without the need to present a traditional ID card. mDowód is a new electronic identity document in Poland available within the mObywatel application. It is as valid as the currently used traditional (plastic) ID card, but it is not a digital version of it. It is an independent and equivalent identity document. mDowód and an ID card differ in series, number, date of issue, and validity. mDowód contains data from the Register of ID Cards and the PESEL register. mDowód can be used in offices, courts, clinics, or at the post office, and from September 1 of this year, also in banks, including Bank Pekao S.A. The electronic mDowód presented at bank branches and partner locations will allow for identity verification without the need to carry other identity documents, including an ID card. - We are pleased that Bank Pekao, which is increasingly becoming a digital bank, is entering a new era of identity verification with mDowód. This is another step towards meeting the needs of everyday banking without the necessity of presenting physical identity documents such as an ID card or passportsays Wojciech Werochowski, Vice-President of the Management Board at Bank Pekao S.A., responsible for the Retail Banking Division. – After verifying identity with the electronic mDowód, it will be possible to open, among other things, the Konto Przekorzystne (Beneficial Account) in branches or submit other instructions. How will customers at Bank Pekao S.A. be able to verify their identity using mDowód? To verify identity at the bank and handle various matters, customers should come with a smartphone on which the mObywatel application is installed and mDowód is activated, to a Bank Pekao or partner branch. From the application, it will be possible to scan a QR code generated by the employee on-site and transmit the document data to the bank. After successful customer identity verification, the bank will receive an electronic confirmation of the document and its data, and the mObywatel application will generate information about when and to whom the data from mDowód was entrusted. Once mDowód is integrated into the bank's systems, it will be visible alongside other identity documents in both Pekao 24 and PeoPay. mDowód is valid for 5 years and will need to be renewed after its expiration date under the same rules as other identity documents. - The progressive digitalization of services, including public ones, leads to changes in consumer behavior. Today, payments via phone or watch are commonplace for us. Moreover, many people, mainly from the younger generation, treat payment cards as an additional service, keeping them at home just in case other payment methods fail. A similar transformation of services that banking is undergoing is currently happening in public administrationsays Błażej Szczecki, Vice-President of the Management Board at Bank Pekao S.A., overseeing the Technology and Operations Division. – Making mDowód available in the mObywatel application fulfills the expectations of individuals who handle most of their affairs on their mobile devices and don't feel the need to physically carry their ID card. Our bank has also met their expectations by allowing identity verification in branches using mDowód. We want everyone to bank the way they like – he adds. The introduction of electronic identity verification with mDowód at Bank Pekao branches is another step in implementing the bank's IT strategy “Responsible Bank. Modern Banking” for the years 2021-2024. It brings the bank closer to achieving its goal of having most sales and customer service functionalities handled through digital channels. The innovative solutions in Bank Pekao S.A.'s electronic banking are recognized and appreciated in the market. They have been awarded, among others, in the “Institution of the Year” ranking in the categories “Best Mobile Application,” “Best Internet Banking,” and “Best Remote Account Opening Process.” The PeoPay application was also recognized as one of the 15 best mobile solutions globally according to the Digital Banking Maturity 2022 study conducted by Deloitte. Information regarding the mObywatel application and the legal act can be found on the websites: mObywatel and legal acts at ISAP (sejm.gov.pl). PARTNER TEXT

KGHM Presents Integrated Report for 2022

SPONSORED CONTENT

For the fifth time, KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. – a global leader in the mining industry – has published its Integrated Report for 2022. The document provides a comprehensive analysis of the copper company's achievements in the past year.

– The solid production and financial results achieved in the challenging year of 2022 allow us to look optimistically towards the coming years. We have ambitious plans and investment projects – we have set a record level of investment expenditures for 2023. At KGHM, we uniquely combine economic and financial efficiency with respect for the natural environment and partnership relations with our stakeholders – wrote Tomasz Zdzikot, President of the Management Board of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., in his introduction to the document.

The main themes of the report, "Stability and Development," describe KGHM's achievements in operational activities, progress in strategy implementation, environmental protection initiatives, cooperation with local communities, management standards, and many other areas. The document offers a cross-sectional analysis of the copper giant's strategic vision, the company's values, and its response to stakeholder needs.

KGHM's Integrated Report, in addition to the financial results and situation of the Capital Group, also covers activities encompassing ethical standards, safety, and management. ESG aspects and KGHM's projects related to energy transformation have also been presented in detail. It is worth emphasizing that KGHM, for the first time in its history, has performed an analysis and disclosed its carbon and environmental footprint for certain products; this is an important notification, especially for our Clients.

The company ensures the security of metal supplies essential for global transformation through access to primary copper deposits. Simultaneously, it is developing Circular Economy goals and increasing the utilization of recycled materials. Responding to global challenges related to sustainable development, the company has adopted an ambitious Climate Policy, declaring its commitment to achieving climate neutrality by 2050. Further confirmation that KGHM is developing its operations sustainably is the prestigious certification and the right to use The Copper Mark by another company division – Hutę Miedzi Cedynia (Cedynia Copper Smelter). Thus, all KGHM metallurgical plants located in Poland can boast this prestigious certification.

It is worth noting that KGHM has been among the best reporting companies for years. The Institute of Accounting and Taxes has recognized the copper giant multiple times in the "The Best Annual Report" competition for the best annual report. This award is the culmination of a competition that promotes annual reports with the highest utility value for shareholders and investors. Companies from across the country participate, preparing consolidated financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS).

As every year, the Integrated Report is available in Polish and English. This year's novelty is the Spanish version.

For the sake of the environment, KGHM's Integrated Report is not printed and, once again, is exclusively in electronic format.

Czarnek:

"Let's Protect Children, Let's Support Parents" is a Citizen's Bill and the Senate's Upcoming Session Doesn't Invalidate It

- "Let's Protect Children, Let's Support Parents" is a citizen's bill and the fact that the Senate is just convening does not negate it. It will be processed during the first term of the Sejm, as it is not subject to the discontinuation of Sejm proceedings. I do not rule out that another Sejm session will be convened. If not, it will be passed at the beginning of November and sent to the President. Let's clarify one more thing: this bill is not going into any bin - stated Przemysław Czarnek in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the "Gość Radia Zet" program.

09:33

Czarnek:

If ZNP Didn't Exist, Teachers Would Be in a Much Better Situation
There is no problem. If ZNP didn't exist, teachers would be in a much better situation. ZNP harms Polish schools and lies. The magic of large numbers is nice, but look at the nationwide scale – stated Przemysław Czarnek on the program “Gość Radia Zet”.

09:35

Lubnauer:

Kaczyński Fled Warsaw Partly Due to PiS's Plans for Okęcie Airport

- I think Kaczyński fled Warsaw partly because of what PiS intends to do with Okęcie. This is unacceptable for Warsaw residents, an attempt to liquidate Okęcie. This is one of the elements, it's also a symbol of Warsaw, an airport so close, which Warsaw residents use and is an element of Warsaw's development - stated Katarzyna Lubnauer on RMF FM.

09:35

Lubnauer on Giertych: He's Not My Beloved KO Candidate. I Will Support Women
Giertych is such an answer, an answer titled 'let the Prime Minister clash with his former Deputy Prime Minister'. Although, to be honest, from my point of view, he is not my beloved KO candidate. I will be supporting women - stated Katarzyna Lubnauer on RMF FM.

09:38

Czarnek:

Absolutely False Information That I Am Part of Any Plans for Prime Minister. Morawiecki Will Be Prime Minister

- We have never discussed this topic with the chairman, and these newspaper fables amuse us. Absolutely false information that I am part of any plans for prime minister. Mr. Mateusz Morawiecki will be prime minister because he is leading our government excellently – stated Przemysław Czarnek on the program “Gość Radia Zet”.

09:40

Czarnek:

As of January 1st, the lowest-paid, beginning teacher will earn 100% more than in 2015

- As of January 1st, the lowest-paid, beginning teacher will earn 100% more than in 2015 - stated Przemysław Czarnek on the program "Gość Radia Zet".

09:48

Czarnek:

I can already announce several billion zlotys more for the Ministry of Education budget and over ten billion more in educational subsidies

- We are fighting for the best possible budget for the Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN). We have already achieved great success in negotiations with the Ministry of Finance. Keep your fingers crossed for us. I can already announce that there will be several billion zlotys more in the MEiN budget and over ten billion more in educational subsidies for teachers - stated Przemysław Czarnek in the program "Gość Radia Zet".

09:58

"850 Days of Sadness and Shame": The Left Files a Criminal Complaint Against Morawiecki
- 850 days of sadness and shame, this is precisely the policy of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and his team, this is the policy of Law and Justice [...] After these eight days, during which we gave the Prime Minister an ultimatum, we are keeping our word and together with MP Trela, we are today filing a criminal complaint against Mateusz Morawiecki, the Prime Minister of the Republic, who, in our opinion, has failed to fulfill his duties and has led to the depletion of public interest by not submitting an application for the disbursement of funds from the European Union – said Krzysztof Gawkowski at a press conference.

- This is not a one-page application; it is over a dozen pages of evidence against Mateusz Morawiecki, which demonstrate how many times and what he said, misleading Poles, promising this money [...] Lies and betrayal, economic treason [...] even if the politicized prosecutor's office of Mr. Ziobro does not deal with this now, it is evidentiary material, it is one of those pieces of evidence demonstrating that after the elections they will lose, no one will let PiS off the hook – he continued.

- We are talking about PLN 270 billion that should be in our budget today [...] Prime Minister Morawiecki is already going down in history, 850 days without money from the National Reconstruction Plan, but PLN 2.5 billion deducted from structural funds, and this means less money for local governments and for entrepreneurs, because we have penalties, and some penalties are still being accrued [...] Mateusz Morawiecki is an economic rag doll, who has been Prime Minister for several years, but in reality, he only harms and brings no benefit – said Tomasz Trela.

10:03

Lubnauer on Petru's Candidacy: "He Probably Has No Chances Now, The Lists Are Closed"

- Well, he probably has no chances now, because the lists are closed. He had an offer, as far as I remember, to the Senate. He didn't decide on it. To be honest, we have been working, one might say, in the Sejm all the time, I have been working hard for 4 years so that Poles also notice my work and simultaneously do everything to expose the PiS scandals - stated Katarzyna Lubnauer on RMF FM.

- During this time [of PiS rule], Ryszard Petru was doing business, and recently appeared as someone fighting against Konfederacja. It's very good that he is fighting Konfederacja, it is a real threat, these are people whose stance on women and the EU Poles should know about - he continued.

10:07

Lubnauer:

I have no doubt Giertych must be kept away from education

- I have no doubt that Giertych must be kept away from education. On other matters, he has stated quite clearly that he will be bound by club discipline, and where we vote as a club on issues related to, for example, abortion or civil partnerships, there will be discipline, and it will apply to him - stated Katarzyna Lubnauer on RMF FM.

11:15

Budka:

The Wrocław Scammer Has Been Drawn to Compete in the Capital of Our Beautiful Voivodeship
"The scammer from Wrocław has been drawn to compete precisely in the capital of our beautiful voivodeship, which is Katowice. Today, we would first like to remind everyone that for 4 years Mateusz Morawiecki has avoided any substantive debate about our voivodeship. He is the only prime minister in history who has never engaged in a debate with anyone from the opposition. Well, he is likely following in the footsteps of his principal, who is also not particularly famous for his courage, but here in Silesia, he doesn't have to fear anything. We are truly hospitable and once again we cordially invite Mateusz to take part in a debate, so that this time he doesn't back down, so that he talks about all those things he promised and failed to deliver." - stated Borys Budka during a press conference. "The biggest symbol of this incompetence of Mateusz Morawiecki's government is the lack of European funds, which our region is particularly waiting for. We are no longer talking only about the Just Transition Fund, but primarily about the huge funds from the National Recovery Plan. These funds were granted to Poland thanks to the fact that, among others, our MEPs voted to increase the European Union's own resources. I would like to remind you that no PiS MEP supported the creation of this grand recovery plan for Europe. Today, as a result of the incompetence of Mateusz Morawiecki's government, our region, our voivodeship, is also not receiving its due funds, and we can see how well these funds can work, for example, in places like the Silesian Stadium or the Silesian Museum." - he added.

11:18

Budka:

Morawiecki Will Attend a Meeting with PiS Activists, Perhaps Unaware He's in the Silesian Museum, Built Thanks to the Opposition
- Prime Minister, you are visiting Silesia, pretending to be at any open meetings – that's nonsense. Tomorrow, you will once again be at a closed meeting with PiS activists, but perhaps you won't even know that you are in the beautiful building of the Silesian Museum, which was created thanks to the good governance of the Silesian Voivodeship by people from Civic Platform, PSL, and the Left, thus by all those who know local government. If you decide to, Prime Minister, then come back again to the Silesian Stadium, also built thanks to the efforts, commitment, and determination of politicians, including those from Civic Platform – stated Borys Budka during a press conference. - There are many such gems in the Silesian Voivodeship. They were also created thanks to European funds. Together, we will achieve much more, but there is one simple condition, and I appeal to the residents of the Silesian Voivodeship to finally get rid of Mateusz on October 15th and ensure Silesia is well represented – he emphasized.

Fogiel on Tusk's Reaction to Kaczyński's Kielce Candidacy: 'This is some poor trolling at an elementary school level'

- Donald Tusk can no longer be referred to as a serious politician. But I'll say this, if someone tries to claim that the fact that the Świętokrzyskie Mountains are in the constituency from which President Jarosław Kaczyński is running has some political implications, then I apologize. Donald Tusk once made a certain gesture at a meeting towards a woman who did not vote for Civic Platform, and I think this is a good place to quote it in reference to Donald Tusk. This is some poor trolling at an elementary school level – said Radosław Fogiel in the program "Sedno sprawy" on Radio Plus.

11:29

Fogiel:

The Stakes in This Election Are Whether We Can Make Our Decisions Sovereignly

- I don't know what Donald Tusk's goal is in the election, and frankly, I'm not particularly interested. PiS's goal is to win this election, not to boost someone's ego that they will win against someone. Not to inflate someone's ego that this is a clash between specific individuals – said Radosław Fogiel in the program "Sedno sprawy" on Radio Plus.

- In PiS's case, the stakes are serious. The stakes are Poland's future. The stakes are whether we can make our decisions sovereignly, or for example, whether a group will take power that will gladly dissolve us into some pan-European project, instead of defending the border, will send pizza to those whom Lukashenka is trying to put here – he continued.

12:52

Gliński:

We are once again appealing to Germany for the payment of due reparations

- Today, once again, in connection with this terrible anniversary of Germany unleashing World War, we are appealing to the German state for the payment of due reparations to Poland and Poles - said Piotr Gliński at a press conference.

- The United Right government has presented a report on war losses. This report is the result of our five-year systematic work, which began in the previous term. This is how it's done. It is done professionally, it is done based on the work of scientists. This report, moreover, has one characteristic feature: it is minimalist in its demands. This is everything that can be justified - the Minister of Culture continued.

- In total, the losses and Polish claims regarding reparations from the German state amount to, as you may recall, 6 trillion 220 billion zlotys - he continued.

BGK President: In the Q2 2023 GDP data, attention should be paid to the strong investment performance, which grew by 7.9% year-on-year
In the Q2 2023 GDP data, attention should be paid to the strong investment performance, which grew by 7.9% year-on-year. This is good news, especially for me as the president of a Polish development bank. For BGK, supporting investments by local governments and businesses is the essence of our activity - wrote BGK President Beata Daszyńska-Muzyczka.

14:16

Morawiecki:

Despite Our Stumbles and Mistakes, for Which We Apologize – Consider if You Want a Government of Boys in Shorts
Kruszwica is rather a small town, with 9-10 thousand inhabitants, but it is a beautiful town with character and traditions. There are many such towns in Poland. Smaller, small towns also deserve major investments. Small towns have big aspirations; they also have wonderful people. Smaller municipalities are municipalities that must also have the chance for wonderful, long-term development. Meanwhile, it can be said that on the map of Poland, our predecessors saw different cities. Perhaps they noticed Warsaw, Bydgoszcz from afar, but they also noticed Berlin, Brussels, Paris – cities that, as long as I live, I don't remember being on the map of Poland. They mainly went to elections, to voters with such cities, although the voters didn't see it – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference in Kruszwica. - For me, it is clear that there were and are two models of development for Poland, two models of development for our homeland. One is a model that includes wonderful towns like Kruszwica, where, together with the governor, Minister Łukasz Schreiber, and Minister Krzysztof Szczucki, we are working on the entire communication system of the voivodeship, on utilizing the potential of this beautiful voivodeship, both in the Toruń and Bydgoszcz parts. We are doing everything to attract new investments here, but what is needed for this? Precisely this – to believe that towns like Kruszwica, Inowrocław, and Strzelno also have great potential. Like Grudziądz, Toruń, and we will work on this – he added. - Regardless of our stumbles and mistakes, for which we apologize, of course, but consider whether you want a government of these boys in shorts, who were kicking a ball around, perhaps playing golf, sipping wine in the evening, but look at the numbers, at the facts – roads, schools, hospitals, renovations, new investments – and answer the question: which of these models of economic and social development is better for Kruszwica, Inowrocław, Strzelno, and for all the cities I often discuss with Minister Szczucki – he continued.

16:04

Gliński:

I'm Ready to Debate Tusk. I'm Not Afraid of a Confrontation
- We optimized the lists, President Jarosław Kaczyński, for very rational reasons, decided to run from a district where he can win an additional seat. Therefore, he asked me to undertake this mission here in Warsaw. I am aware of the realities, of what the political situation in Warsaw looks like, but I have taken on such political challenges several times in my life. […] We are not afraid of challenges - said Piotr Gliński in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on the program 'Raport' of Super Express. When asked about the idea of a debate between the Warsaw leaders of the PiS and KO lists, he replied: But I am ready, I even invited him for a conversation today. I am not afraid of a conversation or a confrontation. Of course [a public debate], at any moment with the chairman.

In September, the Senate will address two civic bills and the so-called NABE bill

A session of the upper house has been convened for the beginning of the month – on September 6-7, the Senate will consider several bills, to which – purely theoretically – the Sejm might wish to respond, although this would require convening an additional session.

Among the agenda items is an amendment to the Education Law – this was a civic project titled "Let's Protect Children." Another item is the bill on the principles of the State Treasury providing guarantees for the liabilities of the National Energy Security Agency.

Senators will also discuss another civic proposal – an amendment to the Act on Lotteries, which, according to its justification, concerns "strengthening the obligation of public authorities to care for forests owned by the State Treasury."

Also on the agenda is the final report from the work of the Extraordinary Commission for the clarification of cases of illegal surveillance, their impact on the electoral process in the Republic of Poland, and the reform of special services.

17:52

Kierwiński on Zych: Her Behavior is Unacceptable, So She Won't Be a Senate Pact Candidate
- A candidate who was nominated within the [Senate] pact by the PSL [Małgorzata Zych] is unfortunately behaving in an unacceptable manner, therefore she will not be a candidate of the entire pact, the pact has withdrawn its support for her [...] These statements [on Polish-Ukrainian relations] were unacceptable, and one of the parties, the party that nominated her, i.e., the Polish People's Party, has withdrawn its support for her. This is tantamount to her not having the Senate pact endorsement – said Marcin Kierwiński in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the "Gość Radia ZET" program. - This is still a constituency where, as we agreed, the Polish People's Party is fielding its representative, we will wait for proposals here – he continued.

17:58

Kierwiński:

September 9th, Tarnów – That's Where Civic Platform's Program Convention Will Be
- September 9th, Tarnów [...] it's definitely Tarnów, that's where the Civic Platform's program convention will be held, where 100 concrete points for the first 100 days of governing will be presented, meaning the most important issues that the new government, hopefully under the leadership of Chairman Tusk, will address - said Marcin Kierwiński on Radio ZET.

18:03

Kierwiński:

Giertych Planned to Come to Poland to Run a Campaign
- I haven't spoken with Roman Giertych. As far as I know, he planned to come here to Poland to run a campaign, but I don't know, with today's technical capabilities, a campaign can also be run online - Marcin Kierwiński said on Radio ZET.

18:09

Kierwiński on Bąkiewicz: He howled and screamed at a Warsaw Uprising heroine; his views are fascist-like
- I really can't find any common ground between Mr. Kołodziejczak and Mr. Bąkiewicz [...] This is a man [Bąkiewicz] who howled and screamed at a Warsaw Uprising heroine [...] it's one thing to protest, and another to include someone on a list whose views are fascist-like – said Marcin Kierwiński on Radio ZET.

18:16

Kierwiński:

Kaczyński is Closer to Lukashenko Than to Democratic States in Western Europe
- PiS dismantled the Constitutional Tribunal, destroyed the Constitutional Tribunal, destroyed the National Council of the Judiciary, interfered with the Supreme Court, and regardless of legal opinions, the sole determinant of their actions was always Mr. Kaczyński's will for impunity, and yes, these people must be called people who are killing democracy in Poland, and yes, I will always say that when it comes to the theory of the state, Kaczyński is closer to Lukashenko than to democratic states in Western Europe – said Marcin Kierwiński on Radio ZET.

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

We're going to the elections so that tradition and national identity have a dignified place in Poland's history

- This is why we are going to the elections, so that tradition, national identity, our history, and values always have a dignified place in Poland's history, always occupy the most beautiful possible position. Only the PSL, Third Way, no one else will ensure this. Patriotism is for everyone, patriotism is our duty, our choice, it is our great strength. We must not be deprived of patriotism, we must not be deprived of the white and red flag, the right to this history and tradition, and no political party can appropriate it - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the Third Way's provincial convention in Rzeszów.

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

The Grave Illness of Hatred, Which Has Unfortunately Affected Us Across Poland, Must Be Healed and Cured

- We are also going to the elections to clearly and unequivocally state – we have had enough of the destructive dispute within families, neighborhoods, our communes, districts, voivodeships, across the entire homeland. A dispute that destroys, that consumes. The grave illness of hatred, which has unfortunately affected us across the entire Republic of Poland, must be healed and cured. Poland, torn in half, needs to be stitched back together very precisely with surgical thread, and here too, there are experts who will do it – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the regional convention of Trzecia Droga (Third Way) in Rzeszów.

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

The Uniform – Firefighter's or Military's – Must Not Be Used for Party Purposes
- The army, which must be modernized, must be apolitical. It must not be influenced by any politician, especially a highly partisan, embittered one. [...] There is civilian oversight over the army, but the army cannot be drawn into politics. These frequent conferences, where the ruling party, behind their backs, positions firefighters from the State Fire Service, volunteer firefighters from OSP, but very often also the Polish Army. The uniform – neither the firefighter's nor the military's – must not be used for partisan, political purposes. We will not consent to this – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the Third Way provincial convention in Rzeszów. - We will uphold the decisions that have been made regarding purchases, but we also demand investments here, in Podkarpacie. In Mielec, in special economic zones, wherever possible, we demand investments in the defense industry – he continued.

Dziedzic Will Run in the Constituency Covering Rzeszów, Will Lead This List

- Here, in the Rzeszów region, in the constituency covering the city of Rzeszów and the districts of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship, Adam Dziedzic will run, and he will lead this list. He is a local government official, he is a product of the Rural Youth Association, meaning he knows the roots that originate from here. He is a good manager. The prodigal Poland, which today is unfortunately driven by the mistakes of the rulers, must be crossed out and replaced by a thrifty Poland, which such good managers will represent – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the Third Way's provincial convention in Rzeszów.

Bartoszewski:

It's Not a Foregone Conclusion That Tusk Will Become Prime Minister of an Opposition Government

- It is not a foregone conclusion that Donald Tusk will become prime minister of an opposition government. That's how it is. If there is a coalition government and there are disputes between the major groupings, it very often happens that a smaller grouping gets the office of prime minister. This happens in various countries and it has happened in Poland – stated Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski in a conversation with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".
