And blocking the KPO is a political decision aimed at facilitating political games for our competitors. Well, if Donald Tusk says that it's enough for them to win the elections, the day after the elections, so the government won't change, no new prime minister will be appointed. No changes will occur, assuming he wins – although I don't believe that – and he claims that the KPO will be unblocked then. What, then, is it, if not a carrot created to be used by the opposition – said Radosław Fogiel in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

- Caligula could make a horse a senator, Tusk could make Giertych an MP. Since it didn't work out with the Senate, because the Senate Pact went awry, but what are we talking about, this is no competition. One can only wonder why PO is putting another person on their lists after Marshal Grodzki, after Senator Gawłowski, against whom proceedings are ongoing or the prosecutor's office is taking action – said Radosław Fogiel in PR1's "Sygnały dnia".

- The best answer was recently given by Marshal Kidawa Błońska on one of the radio stations. I value Madam Marshal very highly (...) I value her for her rare honesty within the Civic Platform. Well, Madam Marshal said that everything is clear, the answer to these questions will be thus. So, the Civic Platform wants to privatize, wants to demolish the barrier, wants to let in migrants, and wants to sell off national assets. Because our competitors are playing to ignore this, and no one can ignore it in the future - Radosław Fogiel said on "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1.

For many years, we've had the popular series "Father Mateusz," but PiS is treating us to the "Liar Mateusz" series this campaign. It's hard to comment on the embarrassing ramblings of Mr. Morawiecki. I'm talking about lies because every subsequent video from Mr. Morawiecki, a certified liar, by the way, as confirmed by a Polish court, is full of lies – stated Marcin Kierwiński in the "Graffiti" program on Polsat News. I don't know when this man has time to govern. We have a very serious security problem, record inflation, and this man is rambling on the internet instead of dealing with what Poles are paying him for – he added.

- Civic Platform is a party of privatization, of selling off national assets. It's the environment that has shaped PO since the early 90s, effectively since the systemic transformation, since 1989, it has been this environment that squandered the achievements of generations of Poles, selling them off for pennies, below value. One could say, the crown jewels of the Polish economy, often destroyed, closed down by foreign corporations solely to clear the field of competition in Poland and to turn Poland into a market for goods produced abroad, depriving Poles of jobs so they would constitute cheap labor - stated Jacek Sasin on TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour".

PARTNERSHIP CONTENT

Bank Pekao has signed a cooperation agreement with the Agricultural Property Agency of the State Treasury (ARiMR), which will enable comprehensive support for farmers. This includes, among other things, the application of interest subsidies on loans and the provision of guarantees or surety for the repayment of loans granted to finance part of the investment costs. Based on this agreement, starting August 10, agricultural producers will be able to apply for liquidity loans with ARiMR subsidies at Pekao. The annual interest rate will be only 2 percent.

The cooperation between Bank Pekao S.A. and ARiMR will allow for the provision of financial assistance to agricultural producers who need funds to, among other things, purchase seeds of selected cereals, vegetables, fruits, and grasses, as well as seedlings for nursery farms, which are at risk of losing financial liquidity due to market restrictions caused by the war in Ukraine. Support will also extend to enterprises engaged in grain trading, grain procurement, as well as the procurement and freezing of soft fruits.

"Strategic cooperation between Bank Pekao and the Agricultural Property Agency of the State Treasury will enable effective support for the agricultural sector in Poland. Our goal is to create conditions conducive to the development of this industry, and this partnership will ensure a wide range of financial services tailored to the needs of farmers. Together with the Agricultural Property Agency of the State Treasury, we aim to provide effective and efficient support while promoting the sustainable development of rural Poland," said Leszek Skiba, CEO of Bank Pekao.

Liquidity Loans for Farmers with ARiMR Subsidies

The first product introduced under the signed agreement is a liquidity loan for agricultural producers with ARiMR subsidies. It is intended for farmers who are at risk of losing financial liquidity due to agricultural market restrictions caused by the Russian Federation's aggression against Ukraine. Agricultural producers operating in the areas of crop cultivation, perennial plants, plant propagation and seed processing, as well as animal husbandry and breeding, can apply for it.

The obtained funds can be used to settle financial obligations related to conducting agricultural activities on a farm and to ensure current expenditures contributing to maintaining liquidity by purchasing, among other things, seed and nursery material, fertilizers, plant protection products, fuels for agricultural purposes, heating materials for greenhouses and tunnels, as well as live inventory, feed for livestock, and queen bees.

The borrower is not required to make a down payment. The loan amount cannot exceed:

• PLN 100,000 for an agricultural producer operating a farm with an area of no more than 50 hectares of agricultural land;


• PLN 200,000 for an agricultural producer operating a farm with an area of more than 50 hectares and not more than 100 hectares of agricultural land;


• PLN 400,000 for an agricultural producer operating a farm with an area of more than 100 hectares of agricultural land.

The annual interest rate for the farmer is only 2% of the borrowed amount. The remaining amount is covered by ARiMR. Interest subsidies on the loan can be applied during the loan period, starting from the loan agreement date, for a period not exceeding 60 months.

Financing Investments with Bank Pekao S.A. and ARiMR

The cooperation agreement between Bank Pekao and ARiMR also includes financial support for investment implementation in agricultural farms, special agricultural production sectors, and agricultural product processing. It also covers the creation or expansion of farms run by young farmers and the resumption of production on farms where losses have occurred due to adverse weather phenomena.

"The assistance offered in connection with Bank Pekao's cooperation with the Agricultural Property Agency of the State Treasury constitutes valuable support for farmers. Thanks to financial assistance, they will have access to the resources necessary to modernize their farms and increase production efficiency," said Magdalena Zmitrowicz, Vice-President of Bank Pekao, overseeing the Enterprise Banking Division. "In the near future, we will also introduce a procurement loan for processors, which will allow them to stock up on essential products for their continued, effective operations this season," she added.

In practice, financial support for investments consists of:

• applying interest subsidies on loans granted to finance part of the investment costs;


• providing guarantees or surety for the repayment of loans intended to finance part of the investment costs;


• partial repayment of the principal of loans intended to finance the costs of purchasing agricultural land;


• applying interest subsidies on loans granted to finance the costs of resuming production and the costs of restoring fixed assets in the event of damage;


• providing guarantees or surety for the repayment of loans intended to finance operating costs.

- As the Secretary-General of Civic Platform (PO), the decision for Roman Giertych to run did not surprise me; I believe it's an interesting decision by Donald Tusk – stated Marcin Kierwiński in the program „Graffiti” on Polsat News.

- We can, of course, ponder whether Giertych at the last spot in Kielce is an interesting, good political move. I would just point out that we are truly dealing today with a fundamental dispute with what PiS is doing in Poland, and with what needs to be restored in Poland – he added.

- Ryszard Petru had an offer to run for the Senate, as part of the Senate Pact, which I had the opportunity to negotiate. He did not take advantage of this chance. For now, the matter is closed; there are no plans regarding Mr. Ryszard Petru - stated Marcin Kierwiński on Polsat News' program "Graffiti".

- This is a myth that we must decisively debunk about the alleged poor management in state-owned companies. Of course, that poor management was during the Civic Platform (PO) era. This is evident from the results of these companies, from the profits, or rather, the losses they often achieved. Orlen is a very good example here. Today, these companies are managed very well. If we look at their condition on the stock market, we see that despite the crises that have plagued the Polish economy over the last 4 years, these companies, for the most part, are doing significantly better than they would have when managed by PO - stated Jacek Sasin in TVP1's "Political Quarter of an Hour".

- As long as PiS governs, no one in Poland will freeze. Because we care about Poles, about their safety. The National Energy Security Agency is a strategic project that, on the one hand, is intended to protect Polish coal energy from uncontrolled collapse, from any uncontrolled movements related to the accelerating energy transformation, the green deal, and the policy being pushed by the European Commission. On the other hand, it is to give Polish energy companies, large state-owned energy firms, the opportunity to actively participate in this transformation - stated Jacek Sasin in TVP1's "Political Quarter of an Hour".

- I can say one thing: we will definitely not go down the path our PO competitors are on, which is building lists on the principle of 'the bigger the scandalmonger, the better they'll do on our lists.' That's how PO operates, that's how Tusk operates. We select our candidates genuinely so that they can worthily represent Poles and our political grouping – stated Jacek Sasin on TVP1's 'Political Quarter'.

- We have a constitutionally foreseen procedure for forming a government, and I think that parties programmatically close to each other, which agree on most issues concerning social policy, EU policy, or state policy, such as PiS, Lewica, Platforma, or PSL, or Szymon Hołownia, they will probably form some majority. If they don't, there will be early elections. However, we will certainly not contribute to the formation of another bad government. And we assessed Kaczyński's government as bad, and we assessed Tusk's government as bad - stated Krzysztof Bosak in an interview on RMF FM's Morning Conversation.

- We are preparing for this in the most thorough and best way possible. The whole of Poland is waiting for PiS's lists, and they will be PiS's strongest lists in history - said Przemysław Czarnek in an interview with Łukasz A. Jankowski on Poranek Radia Wnet. - I think there will be many changes on these lists, many new faces, young people who are in PiS, who perhaps haven't run for the Sejm before - he continued.

- I encourage voters of Civic Coalition to draw conclusions from the fact that it is becoming such an unprincipled rabble and to vote instead for a party that represents the ideals around which Platforma was founded. Let's recall – a party of Polish entrepreneurs, with moderate center-right programmatic postulates, based on economic freedom, some moderation, and moderate conservatism. All of this is currently represented by Konfederacja, while Civic Platform has taken on board some socialists from Zieloni, it has taken old post-communists, it is taking old PiS members, old LPR members, Kołodziejczak. It's a motley crew - stated Krzysztof Bosak in the RMF FM Morning Interview.

- In my opinion, Donald Tusk is calculating that by gathering figures from all walks of life, he will create a logic that Platforma Obywatelska is a party for everyone, and he will do what Kaczyński wants to do, which is to strengthen polarization, that you have to vote for PiS or you have to vote for Platforma, and all others don't matter - he added.

- You win elections in Końskie, in precisely these kinds of voivodeships like Świętokrzyskie. You win elections in the Poland that we call provincial, often local, where ordinary Poles live. I think that if this happens [Jarosław Kaczyński runs from the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship], it would be an excellent electoral move – Przemysław Czarnek said on Radio Wnet's Morning Show. - Warsaw is important, and votes must be won there, and mandates must be secured there. But it seems to me that if our leaders were to run in such constituencies as Świętokrzyskie, it would be a brilliant electoral move – he continued.

- Totalitarian, dictatorial – it’s all the same to me. They are totalitarians, truly. They are people who have nothing to do with democracy, I'm talking about opposition politicians, who have nothing to do with the rule of law, with tolerance, with freedom of speech and the media. To me, they are totalitarians - said Przemysław Czarnek on Radio Wnet's Morning program.

- In my opinion, Donald Tusk made a very sensible decision to create a single list of people who do not entirely agree with our views as Civic Platform or the Coalition, but there are things that unite us, namely the desire to remove PiS from power, introduce democratic principles, and heal the legal system in our country - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka's Political Salon".

- If [Roman Giertych] commits to accepting what we propose, what is very important to us, and he is a heavyweight politician, he will certainly be useful on our lists [...] One can disapprove of abortion... view it negatively, but that is my private opinion, and we make laws for everyone, for all or for all women, and that law cannot be restricted for those people because of my views - she continued.

- We have the lists, while PiS is collecting signatures to this day and we don't know at all what these lists look like, we don't even know the core of these lists and this is truly an abuse [...] PiS has reduced it to the point where collecting signatures for lists is not an acceptance of the candidates on those lists, but rather a plebiscite of 'Will you sign for PiS? Do you like PiS?' [...] this is not how it was done on such a scale, that throughout the entire country no one could see a normal list of the Law and Justice party, in any region, this is not normal - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska on Trójka.

- It seems everything that could be privatized already has been, and what Law and Justice is doing, what it did with Lotos, will be described in history as the most terrible thing that was done, because thanks to such decisions, not only did we Poles lose a lot of money, but additionally, at the moment, there are fewer Polish petrol stations in Poland, and there are more foreign ones [...] there should be Polish petrol stations in Poland, Polish enterprises should operate in Poland, and PiS is really great at privatizing what it wants - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska on Trójka.

- We are discussing this topic, among others, with Paweł Kukiz and his experts. We want direct democracy to be truly strengthened, but for that, pay attention, a constitutional majority is needed. That's what we are fighting for in these elections. Once we achieve it, we will certainly change the constitution to introduce the institution of a referendum approving specific legal provisions. Then there will be no discussion - said Przemysław Czarnek on Poranek Radia Wnet.

- If we win the elections, I would like to remain the Minister of Education and Science. If the leadership of our party, with the President at its head, entrusts me with this role, I will be honored - said Przemysław Czarnek on the Morning Radio Wnet program.

The ORLEN Group has signed a conditional agreement with EDP Renewables Polska to purchase 3 wind farms in Wielkopolska with a total capacity of 142 MW. As part of the transaction, an option to supplement them with photovoltaic assets (with a capacity of up to 159 MW) has also been secured, among other things, based on a common connection. Launched in 2021 and 2022, the farms produce as much energy as approximately 240,000 households consume annually. The acquired assets are not only among the most modern but also the most efficient wind farms in Poland. They are powered by, among others, 4.2 MW turbines, some of the largest currently used in Poland. The transaction is expected to be finalized this year. – We are undertaking one of the largest transactions on the domestic renewable energy market in recent years. The scale of operations and experience in acquisition processes allow us to conduct such operations effectively. We are consistently investing in this segment to offer our clients clean and competitively priced energy. By 2030, we will have approximately 9 GW of installed capacity in renewable sources, becoming a leader in the energy transformation of our region. Today's agreement will expand our RES portfolio with exceptionally high-quality generation units. The three wind farms being acquired are not only among the most modern in the country but are also characterized by their excellent location, ensuring high wind speeds, which guarantees a high degree of utilization of installed capacity – says Daniel Obajtek, CEO of ORLEN. The transaction includes the purchase of 3 wind farms located in Wielkopolska, near the towns of Ujazd (30 MW capacity), Dobrzyca (49.9 MW capacity), and Dominowo (62.4 MW capacity). The latter utilizes, among others, Vestas V136 turbines with a maximum height of 166 m and blades of 76.2 m each – these are some of the largest onshore units currently operating in Poland. The transaction is being carried out by ORLEN Wind 3, a company belonging to the Group. After its finalization, the concern will have approximately 900 MW of installed capacity in renewable sources. The farms were launched in 2021-2022 and are new, efficient assets with very high productivity and a long expected lifespan. An additional, integral element of the transaction are optional photovoltaic projects. These can be implemented by the seller, mostly based on cable pooling, meaning by utilizing an already existing connection. Once built, the delivered photovoltaic farms will be another significant expansion of ORLEN Group's RES generation capacity by up to approximately 159 MW. The implementation of these projects based on cable pooling is, of course, dependent on the completion of work on the currently processed regulations enabling this solution. The new assets are another investment by the ORLEN Group in renewable energy sources in Wielkopolska. The Przykona wind farm with a capacity of approximately 33 MW and the Gryf photovoltaic farm with a capacity of approximately 25 MW are already operating there. In the second half of July this year, Energa Wytwarzanie, a company within the Group, signed a preliminary agreement with Greenvolt for the Opalenica and Sompolno projects with a total capacity of 59 MW. Energa also plans to build the PV Mitra (65 MW) and PV Żuki (2.4 MW) photovoltaic farms. Offshore wind energy is also a significant direction for the development of RES capacity within the ORLEN Group. The concern plans to build its first wind farm (with a capacity of up to 1.2 GW) in the Polish part of the Baltic Sea. The start of construction for Baltic Power is preliminarily planned for 2024, with commissioning in 2026. In parallel, ORLEN Group companies at the end of May this year secured 5 additional locations in the Baltic Sea for the construction of offshore wind farms, which could host assets with a total capacity of approximately 5.2 GW. In total, the ORLEN Group already possesses 6 offshore wind farm locations with a potential of 6.4 GW. By the end of 2030, the ORLEN Group will have renewable energy sources with a total capacity of over 9 GW. This will include, among others, offshore and onshore wind farms, photovoltaics, as well as biogas and biomethane generation units. During this time, the concern will also produce energy using small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs). In total, by the end of the decade, the concern will allocate as much as PLN 120 billion to green investments. All of this, utilizing the synergies and potential of the merged multi-energy concern, is intended to ensure cheap and clean energy for Poles in the future. – There are parties on the political scene now that, for example, are taking former Deputy Prime Ministers from Jarosław Kaczyński's government onto their lists, or promoters of Krzysztof Bosak from Młodzież Wszechpolska, but we on the left have always said the same thing, we on the left hold exactly the same views [...] today, within our leftist family, we are broadening our horizons and welcoming Jana Shostak aboard – said Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus at a press conference. – I will [allow myself to] quote specialists: in most European countries where abortion on demand is available up to a certain week of pregnancy, the 14th, 22nd, or 24th, it is also possible to perform the procedure later if there is a medical indication, fetal defects, or a threat to the life or health of the pregnant person. In almost all European countries, such a procedure is performed until the end of pregnancy. The decision for such a procedure is made by a medical consortium after consulting medical documentation. Such procedures are very rare, constituting 1% of all abortions, but they often prove necessary – said Jana Shostak.

- Jarosław Kaczyński and his entire entourage of the so-called United Right have no idea at all what Poland should look like in two, three, or four years. What they are doing and what they think about every day is solely about how to retain power, how to ensure they have even more money. So their idea to retain power is, for example, a referendum. Kaczyński certainly didn't come up with this himself, but consulted it with Orbán, who has already used exactly the same tactics in Hungary - said Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus at a press conference. - Polish women and men, boycott this referendum, do everything to ensure this referendum simply fails, because this referendum is about some reality that does not exist - she continued.

- On our side, we have four senators: Marshal Kamiński, Kazimierz Michał Ujazdowski, Filip Gliwicki, and Ryszard Bober. But we also have our leaders who brought Poland into the European Union, because Prime Minister Pawlak signed the application to join the European Union, co-participated and negotiated accession to NATO, and later utilized and attracted as many funds from the EU as possible so they could be well invested in Poland. These are our leaders for the Senate, these are individuals who hold various positions today, often public service roles. We have local government officials like Leszek Przybytniak, a councilor of the Mazovian Voivodeship. We have those who help our compatriots daily, like Anna Majda, a wonderful doctor who saves human health and lives every day. There are very experienced entrepreneurs and good managers, such as Tadeusz Gajda. There are local government officials, the starost of Częstochowa, Krzysztof Smela. There is the younger generation of PSL structure leaders, like Krzysztof Klęczar or Paweł Gancarz. There are experienced farmers like Marek Sulima, the leader of OPZZ, a farmer from the Lublin Voivodeship who fought against Kaczyński's "Five" and against injustice - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press briefing. - We invite you to support us, we ask for your support. The Senate Pact won four years ago, and there is a chance for this majority to be even more stable, with even more democracy, good practices, and customs - he added.

- A bill has been prepared expanding the list of beneficiaries who will be able to receive medications, special medical foods, and medical devices free of charge, i.e., so-called free medications. We introduced the first act in this regard a few years ago, which provided the opportunity to use free medications and other health-promoting products for individuals who had reached the age of 75, i.e., seniors, as well as for pregnant women. Not long ago, we also expanded the list of these individuals to include women in the postpartum period. Now, there is a very significant expansion of this list, a very significant one affecting millions of people nationwide, including individuals over 65 years of age, as well as children and adolescents up to 18 years of age - stated President Andrzej Duda during the signing of the law on free medications for children up to 18 years old and seniors from 65 years of age.

- I am very happy about this, because we all know that when that difficult moment comes, when due to some reason health deteriorates or health is lost, we all realize perfectly well that the costs associated with it, the financing of therapies, and treatment are usually high, precisely in the area we are talking about regarding medications in the literal sense of the law, as well as so-called parapharmaceutical products - he continued.

- The fact that the Polish state is providing such support to all those who, unfortunately, will be affected by illness or a decline in health is essentially support for the family - emphasized the President of the Republic of Poland.

- Now, after years, after many discussions, many consultations, we have reached the conclusion that these two key social groups, namely our children from infants up to youth aged 18, and our seniors who are retiring or already retired, meaning those over 65 years of age, should receive greater support from the state. In total, this is about 14, maybe even 15 million people, meaning about 40% of the entire Polish population, who will be able to benefit from what the President so beautifully stated, though hopefully they won't have to use it for as long as possible - stated Mateusz Morawiecki during the ceremony of signing the act on free medicines for children up to 18 years old and seniors from 65 years of age.

- Medicines are only one area of our life in healthcare, and yet we had to start with what we started with, namely increasing admissions to medical studies, increasing the number of doctors and nurses. Please look at how many people are currently studying medicine. Today, doctors are very often returning from abroad to work in Poland. This is something that, had we said it 8 years ago, few would have believed would become a reality - he continued.

- Although I don't want to make this speech political in the broad sense of the word today, I will only mention or ask a few questions. Were there free medicines during the time of the Civic Platform government? Were there free medicines for pregnant women? Were there additional admissions for doctors? We knew back then that we needed more medical professionals in our healthcare system. Were there finally such substantial purchases of equipment or payments for excess services? Were all these investments in healthcare that appeared in the last 7 years made? These are rhetorical questions, of course, ladies and gentlemen, because I think 99% of Poles know the answer to these questions perfectly. Even those who are our opponents. They know the answer to these questions perfectly. We stopped the process of commercialization, and even privatization of some hospitals, because we knew it was a dead end, that trading in the health of Poles is not a good prospect for Polish society - the Prime Minister emphasized.

- Back then, during our predecessors' time, there was one fundamental disease in healthcare. That disease was indifference. Indifference to the fate of those who needed state support the most [...]. The primary source of all these social successes, including in healthcare, is the repair of the Polish budget, which was as leaky as Swiss cheese during the Civic Platform's time. It must be said, so that our dear compatriots, the youngest among them may learn, and the oldest are experienced in life, two words will suffice for them to realize how important elections are approaching. Elections, on which it will also depend whether healthcare will be a great priority, where powerful funds of the Polish state will follow words and promises, or whether it will be otherwise - he added.

- Today, the PSL has become the only substantive political force on the scene that can represent the affairs of the Polish countryside and farmers. This is because all other formations have abdicated or taken shortcuts; some have betrayed Poland's interests through the uncontrolled influx of grain from Ukraine. What the government did by allowing thousands of trucks into Poland under the criminal designation of technical grain is reprehensible. We demand that those responsible be punished, that the culprits be found, and that those who have been harmed be compensated. Food security is one of the pillars of our program – said Władysław Kosiniak Kamysz at a press conference of the Third Way in Olsztyn.

- We will restore and ensure a state where the word of one man, like the word of a Tsar or another dictator, does not suddenly make the earth spin in the opposite direction, and billions from our pockets are scattered left and right. We will restore the rule of law in Poland; such matters will be decided by the Sejm, the Senate, and by the renewed, reformed Constitutional Tribunal in transparent procedures. We will achieve the tripartite separation of powers in Poland once again, and Poles will be able to feel safe in a country where they will not have the conviction or suspicion that the decision of one person can determine whether the police will burst into their homes today - said Szymon Hołownia at a Third Way press conference in Olsztyn. - Today Kaczyński says 'the state is me,' and we want to take this state from him and say 'the state is us, Mr. Kaczyński.' The state is all of us: in the Third Way, in other parties, among the voters of this or that group. Poland is our common cause, and the Third Way leads to this - he continued.

- We will be considering the bill submitted by the President of the Republic of Poland concerning the cooperation of the Council of Ministers with the Sejm and Senate on matters related to the Republic of Poland's membership in the European Union, as well as the bill on the Committee for European Affairs. Contrary to its name, this bill primarily concerns granting additional prerogatives to Mr. President, who would like to countersign Poland's candidates for various European institutions, which exceeds his prerogatives and competencies as enshrined in the Constitution – said Tomasz Grodzki at a press briefing before the 66th session of the Senate.

- The opinion of legislators regarding this bill, for this reason among others, is negative, and I expect the Senate will not react to it positively – he added.

- Today we stand before you as a strong United Left team, ready for these elections. Ready not only to kick PiS to hell, but most importantly, to build a dam against the potential brown-fascist coalition of PiS and Confederation - said Robert Biedroń during the presentation of the United Left's parliamentary election candidates. - We have brought together nearly 1000 candidates on our lists. I would therefore like to announce that the United Left's lists will be parity-based, with equal representation of women and men on our lists. This is a historic moment, and we are all very proud of it. But today, our responsibility is also to continue to unite generations, which is why, in addition to the team you are familiar with, around a hundred candidates under the age of 30 will appear on our lists. Today, there is not a single such person in the Sejm - he continued.

- I wanted to announce to you that this coming Saturday, there will be a major congress of the Left, where we will present our slogan, where we will present our programme, where we will reiterate our values - said Robert Biedroń during the presentation of the Left's candidates in the parliamentary elections. The Left's electoral convention is scheduled to begin on September 2nd at 12:00 PM in Łódź.

- Our team is very programmatically cohesive. Our team is a team that adheres to a specific value system, has its convictions, and no one needs to be forced into anything. No one needs to be told to confirm a certain way of thinking about Poland, even if they had a different one in the past. I want to say that we have always believed that women should have their rights, including abortion rights, and there is not a single person among us who thinks otherwise – Włodzimierz Czarzasty said during the presentation of Lewica's candidates in the parliamentary elections. - We have no dilemmas regarding issues such as partnership unions. We have always thought so, we think so, and we will always think so. We have a clear stance on this matter, on all issues related to freedom, to equality, we have always been like this. There is no one among us who we need to tell: listen woman, listen man, say at a press conference that these matters are important to you, even if perhaps in the past they were not important – he continued.

- We do not want to negotiate on behalf of women, we do not want to issue any ultimatums to one gentleman or another, demanding that by Tuesday or Wednesday they must change their minds on whether a woman can decide about her own life or not. This is not a matter for either one gentleman or the other - said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk during the presentation of the Left's candidates in the parliamentary elections.

- In those elections, we aimed for the Left to enter parliament, so that the left-wing voice would finally be audible in Poland. In these elections, we are aiming for change, we are aiming to start implementing that program in Poland. – If there isn’t a clear declaration from Ms. Zych condemning Putin, what he is doing in Ukraine, condemning the genocide, meaning if she is not on the side of our values and doesn’t clearly state that, then she will not be our candidate – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the Campus Polska Przyszłości event.

- You understand that half of Kaczyński's phenomenon today is the other side's conviction that he is such an extraordinary demigod, a strategist, that he can enchant us all, trick us, distribute money, cheat, rob us, to the point where they wonder, "Oh, where did the opposition win?" It's the PiS supporters who should be contemplating and wishing for the opposition to win, not us ourselves entertaining such a thought. Today, we must have a winner's mentality - said Szymon Hołownia during the Campus Polska Przyszłości event.

- When you govern, it's like in any other area of life: sometimes it's better, sometimes it's worse, mistakes are made, sometimes something is done simply not as planned. But the art lies in, and we are capable of this, when we make a mistake, to retract it, to apologize, to change the decision. And if we are unable to do something at a given moment as we planned, then we look for other solutions. And this defines our entire political formation, our political camp, because we always know perfectly well that you are our bosses. You chose us. You trusted us. You employ us and you have the right to hold us accountable - said Beata Szydło in Pułtusk.

- There is a war, we need to develop the army, we need to rearm […], so that we have the feeling that we are a state that can cope in the most difficult situation, and of course, we are also a loyal ally to those who are with us in the North Atlantic Alliance. It wasn't always like this, and today those politicians who say that they will definitely defend Poland have dismantling and undermining the army to their credit - said Beata Szydło in Pułtusk. - Today I was reading a statement by one of the female MPs from PO who said that it wasn't dismantling, but a reorganization. Call it what you will, but the army was simply being wound down - she continued.

- And do you remember how it was at the beginning, when the war in Ukraine broke out? How the Polish government was criticized for the actions taken, for instance, at the eastern border. What was the opposition's response, the criticism of the Border Guard, the army, the uniformed services. In what way did politicians from Platforma, and also from Lewica, organize happenings at the eastern border. They completely failed to understand what was happening. The running of one of the MPs with a shopping bag at the border, or two gentlemen who brought pizza there in white shirts and held events and happenings, has already become a symbol – stated Beata Szydło in Pułtusk. - Politics is not a happening, and politics is not an event. It is not enough just to post some photo on Twitter and pretend that you are handling Polish affairs, or that you care about Polish security. Today in Poland, responsible, sensible politicians are needed. Politicians who understand what is happening around them and can govern in such a way that Polish affairs truly move in a good direction – she continued.

– There will be no deal with Konfederacja, no majority vote with Konfederacja, no government with Konfederacja, and no discussions on this topic with Konfederacja. [...] How in the 21st century, telling sweet little stories about having a house, a car, and a garden where you can dig a grave when you die waiting in line for a doctor, can someone come out and say: here you go, we will solve healthcare problems, each of you will get a health voucher worth PLN 4300 [...] that’s not even one day in intensive care – said Szymon Hołownia at Campus. – How much more do we need to show, explain, clarify? How many young women today, whom you talk to, women at rallies, their eyes widen in astonishment: they actually supported this motion to the Constitutional Tribunal regarding abortion? Yes, they supported it, these very sweet men telling you about low taxes – he continued.

"Kaczyński views women as child-producing machines, where you insert money and children pop out. You put in 500, one comes out; you put in another 500 and 1000, another comes out. Kaczyński doesn't yet know that it doesn't work like that. [...] Today they are afraid that this or that immigrant will come to Poland, but they have absolutely no idea what to do to have more Poles. They know what to do to have fewer Syrians, but to have more Poles, they have no clue, and that's why they need to be replaced" - said Szymon Hołownia during Campus Polska Przyszłości (Poland Future Campus).

- Frankly, I haven't met MEPs from other countries who attack their own country as much as, unfortunately, those who have been [...] elected in Poland, are supposed to represent and look after Poland's interests, but do the exact opposite. These are MEPs who are representatives of PO, as well as PSL and SLD – groups that are Polish parties, which are also fielding candidates in these elections right now [...]. They talk so much today about how they love Poland, how they are patriots. It's not enough to stick a paper heart on a white shirt and say you're a patriot – said Beata Szydło in Pułtusk.

- The one who first stuck that [white and red] heart on himself was once a Polish prime minister, and later the head of the European Council. I was the Polish prime minister then, when he was the head of the European Council and when the Polish government began to be attacked. Poland began to be attacked because the government represents Poland, it is elected in democratic elections by Poles. And someone who undermines this democratic choice of citizens is not a patriot – they are a traitor – said Beata Szydło in Pułtusk. - We can differ in our views; that's what politics and democracy are about. That's why there are different parties, so there are different programs, different visions for Poland's development, so there is debate and discussion. And Poles choose, and they choose those whom they believe will best represent their interests. And if someone was once a Polish prime minister, even if I strongly disagree with the current government, it is my dogmatic duty to defend Poland's interests to the end, especially abroad – the former prime minister continued.

- He'll be like a limping mare and I think he'll ultimately drive the entire Civic Platform into a ditch, because when we see Kołodziejczak, Giertych, Jachira, I ask who else? It's already embarrassing to vote for PO, because the group of people there is so 'distinguished' that it's shameful - stated Waldemar Buda in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program 'Gość Wydarzeń' on Polsat News.

- The deadline is September 6th, it seems the lists will be revealed by September 4th. One must remain calm and submit to the decision of the party leadership and the chairman - stated Waldemar Buda on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- The chairman has his concept, he has been working on it for a long time. Please remember that this is also a kind of balancing of various interests and such work is necessary. There is no race here. The race is on October 15th. Everyone is preparing, everyone is gathering their ranks, taking action, and has their own schedule of activities. From September 6th or 4th, there will still be 1.5 months left - he added.

- You surely also hear the narrative from Civic Platform or PSL politicians that the current government is in conflict with the European Union. They've alienated everyone, they've fallen out with Brussels. We never picked fights with anyone. We solely defended our own interests and pointed out the madness of these European elites. We said that programs aimed against Europe, against Europeans, could not be implemented. Of course, this was not palatable to those governing in Brussels, and they have a different vision. Hence, everything was done to block certain things in Poland - stated Beata Szydło in Pułtusk. - It's not that you can't come to an agreement with these people in Brussels. You can, but you see, it's like this. If there are MEPs elected in Poland in the European Parliament who should defend Polish interests, but they are constantly running to these various important politicians and decision-makers and commissioners, saying: "there is a dictatorship in Poland, a government that is anti-democratic is in power, this must be blocked" - then do you think that when a commissioner from Germany or the Netherlands, especially from a left-wing party, hears something like this, they say: "perhaps this or that MEP from Civic Platform has gone mad, but for me, this is fine." We'll block things for Poles, and no one will be interested if funds in Greece or Italy were disbursed according to the rules. If the projects implemented in Germany were carried out in accordance with EU law. Why should we concern ourselves with Italy, Germany, France, their problems, when the Poles themselves serve them up on a silver platter - she continued.

- People in Poland have simply started to fear the authorities again. You know, my grandfather in the PRL [Polish People's Republic] used to go and vote for the National Unity Front because he was afraid they would take away his pension. And now people are afraid they will lose their jobs, that they will be harassed. This is not what we fought for, and Minister Czaputowicz says it's Belarus because it is - Radosław Sikorski said on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach" (Facts After Facts). - I think it will be a big laugh, just like with various Macierewicz commissions. But the commission is clearly unconstitutional, and the European Commission is already pointing to this, warning us, the government, that just because it is toothless doesn't mean it is constitutional, because it is not - he continued. - I will coordinate this with other potential victims of this witch hunt, of course with Donald Tusk, Waldemar Pawlak, and others. Because this is purely malicious politics, it will be, you know, on the level of those pathetic documents on the regime's television, so there can be no illusions about the intentions. No one there will want to establish any truth. If they fear Russian influence, then counterintelligence and the prosecution should be activated, not some commissions, so this will be pure propaganda. I will consider what to do about it - he stated.

- I will not take the referendum ballot because what Kaczyński is doing is a fraud, it's an attempt, in an Orban-style manner, because Orban made a repeat maneuver, to deceive us all, to steal our elections - stated Robert Biedroń on TVN24's "Kropka nad i".

- At the last minute, just before 8 PM, PiS nominates 9 individuals for the LexTusk commission. The names are not yet known. And somehow, this doesn't surprise me... - Borys Budka wrote on Twitter.

- I think this is fair. That the matter has been clearly stated. This means that today we know that if we want a state where women can decide about their lives, have legal abortion, want a secular state, marital equality, want all this progress that is a standard in Europe today, we should vote for the Left. If we want Giertych, let's vote for KO. This is a clear and fair stance from Donald Tusk - stated Robert Biedroń on TVN24's "Kropka nad i" program.

I can imagine that Czarnek might also appear on the lists one day. After all, Czarnek is a pittance compared to Giertych, a minor pittance.
