President Karol Nawrocki and his wife, Marta Nawrocka, will visit Italy.

The first item on the agenda is a prayer and laying of a wreath at the tomb of St. John Paul II in the Vatican at 8:15 AM. Subsequently, at 9:45 AM, a meeting of the Presidents of Poland and Italy will take place in Rome, followed by bilateral talks.

At 10:30 AM, President Nawrocki's meeting with the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, will begin. Later, at 1:00 PM in Monte Cassino, the Presidential Couple will visit the Benedictine Abbey – the plan includes a prayer and laying of flowers at the graves of St. Benedict and St. Scholastica.

At 1:30 PM, the Presidential Couple will participate in a trek with scouts, youth, and community activists under the banner of the "Trail of Memory," and at 4:05 PM, a field Holy Mass.

The final event on the schedule is participation in a ceremony commemorating the 82nd anniversary of the Battle of Monte Cassino at 5:00 PM.

Sejm Marshal in Slovakia

Sejm Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty is on a visit to Bratislava. A welcome is scheduled for 9:30 AM, followed by a meeting with the Chairman of the National Council of Slovakia, Richard Raši.

At 10:00 AM, a plenary meeting of the delegations will begin, at 10:50 AM a press conference of the Sejm Marshal and the Chairman of the National Council of Slovakia is planned, and at 1:30 PM – laying flowers before the Gate of Freedom at Devín Castle.

Tusk and Kosiniak-Kamysz at the Ceremonial Signing of the Agreement for an Abrams Tank Engine Service Center

Around 1:30 PM, Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz will participate in the ceremonial signing of an agreement between Military Aviation Works No. 1 S.A. and Honeywell concerning an Authorized Service Center for AGT1500 Engines for M1 Abrams tanks.

- On Wednesday, May 20th, there will be a major protest on the streets of Warsaw. A large demonstration by Solidarity, a large demonstration by Poles against what is happening in Poland, which is caused primarily by EU policy, by climate policy. I want to express my solidarity and great support for the President's initiative regarding a referendum on Poland's climate policy within the European Union. And that is why, once again, here, in this place, as we did a few weeks ago, we are meeting to discuss this - stated Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference.

- I have held a series of meetings in recent weeks and days. These are meetings with entrepreneurs, meetings with employers, with employers' organizations, meetings with agricultural entrepreneurs, as recently as yesterday. And these meetings once again highlight the absurdity of the situation and the drama to which the European Union's climate policy is leading us. Just yesterday, entrepreneurs, farmers, and orchard owners spoke about their investment of PLN 180,000, not in their core business, not in fruit growing, not in developing orchards, not in developing agri-food processing. But in what? In energy - he continued.

- In something that Poles should have as state investments, something the state should guarantee. Meanwhile, orchard owners have to worry themselves and invest in renewables, instead of investing in their core business. Employers. Employers' organizations, the largest entrepreneurs in Poland, tell us directly: a process of deindustrialization of Poland is underway, deindustrialization of Poland because the prices of electricity, a fundamental thing for businesses, are the highest in Poland today - noted the PiS candidate for Prime Minister.

- In the European Union, we are at the very top when it comes to households. In every household, we pay the highest bills in the European Union. Sometimes the Czech Republic and Romania overtake us, but only sometimes. And this is, of course, the price of electricity in relation to purchasing power. However, when it comes to the most energy-intensive enterprises, we are leaders. According to Eurostat, our most energy-intensive enterprises pay 17 euro cents per kilowatt-hour, while the EU average is 11 euro cents per kilowatt-hour. If we do not immediately leave the ETS, if we do not say 'stop' to the climate policy, the absurd climate policy of the European Union, then Poland will first and foremost become a museum piece. The deindustrialization of Poland is progressing - he added.

- We are submitting a bill project called "Fair Electricity Bill." We say to our colleagues from all other political sides – if you don't want to listen to us, if you don't want to join us on the streets. On May 20th at 12:00 PM at Castle Square, then at least show Poles why electricity bills in Poland are so colossal. Show the components of the bills and show how much the cost of the absurd left-wing, radical climate policy of the European Union amounts to in the electricity bill for the average Pole, i.e., how much the ETS fees are - stated Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference.

- Honesty demands this. If you want to push anything onto someone, then say what you are pushing onto them, onto the average Pole who cannot cope with electricity bills at home, but also onto the average entrepreneur, the fruit grower whom I visited yesterday, who cannot cope with electricity bills at his business - he continued.
 

- I appeal to Tusk, I appeal to Kosiniak-Kamysz – stand with us in pro-Polish policy, not anti-Americanism. Stand with us in decisions that benefit our alliance with NATO, and above all, our alliance with the most important member of NATO, which is the United States," stated Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference.

- Do not do what you are ordered to do by those who pursue anti-European, anti-American policies in Europe, pushing the United States out. Do not force through the Brussels-German SAFE, which cannot be used for any equipment from outside Europe," he continued.

- Do not force through all other decisions, or say, as Donald Tusk did in the Financial Times, that you do not believe in the alliance with the United States and in Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty. These are the things that have caused such informational and decision-making turmoil today regarding American soldiers in Poland," added the PiS candidate for Prime Minister.

- The signals coming from Donald Tusk show that something is crumbling and something is breaking. An interview for the Financial Times, questioning the coherence of the North Atlantic Alliance, why is Donald Tusk doing this, why is he striking at Polish security? - said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- Donald Tusk is undermining Polish-American relations, and they are crucial for Polish security - he continued.

- These are not jokes, this is politics. This is the policy of pushing America out of Europe, this is German policy, which ends disastrously for Poland, because Putin fears only the army of the United States. Putin does not fear the Germans - he went on to say.

- The Prosecutor General, Minister of Justice Bodnar has requested Prime Minister Donald Tusk to remove the National Prosecutor Dariusz Borowski from his position, bypassing the procedure stipulated in the still-valid law, which requires the President's consent. The President was not consulted at all. Consequently, Prosecutor Barski has not been removed from the position of National Prosecutor, as also stated in the ruling of the Supreme Court's Criminal Chamber, and that was many, many months ago - stated Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference.

- Due to the fact that Prosecutor Barski was not removed from this position, Mr. Korneluk cannot occupy it. He also cannot appoint other prosecutors. If you at TVN notice this and we eliminate this irregularity, i.e., restore the rule of law at the highest level of the prosecutor's office, then we will certainly be on the right path, on the road to restoring the rule of law in Poland - he continued.

- And then the former Prosecutor General, Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro will certainly return to Poland. And one more thing – the expulsion of Żurek from the Ministry of Justice is absolutely fundamental, because it was Żurek who, by way of ordinances, ordered the circumvention of the law and the lack of random selection of judicial panels in Polish courts. It was Żurek who, in January, was desperately looking for a judge, also changing court duty rosters, just so someone could issue a ruling on the temporary arrest of Minister Zbigniew Ziobro - emphasized the PiS candidate for Prime Minister.

- Do you know, when I was in the United States a year ago, I presented what I called “11 points of Czarnek,” 11 points of the lack of rule of law to the Americans and the entire global community that gathered in America at the time. Everyone in Poland understands this, only TVN still doesn't. I hope that in the coming months, the ownership change will make you understand this too - he added.

- This is a policy that, in today's world, operates in the informational sphere, and the policy pursued by Donald Tusk is anti-American, which also means it is anti-Polish. This harms Poland - said Mariusz Błaszczak on Polsat News.

- What was stopping us from joining the Peace Council? No, they didn't join because Donald Tusk didn't like it, because he is anti-American, he didn't like the Peace Council - said Mariusz Błaszczak on Polsat News.

- All the more so. They started spreading such propaganda that joining the Peace Council meant sending Polish troops to the Middle East. And you rightly said that the Peace Council doesn't exist. All the more reason to have joined the Peace Council to show the United States that they can count on us - he continued after the host pointed out that the Peace Council is a dead entity.

- I'm not talking about sending troops [...] I'm talking about activity in the sense of building the strength of the Polish army here, on the eastern flank, in the Polish state, which we are to defend - he went on to say.

- If I were Minister of Defense, we would have signed such an agreement two years ago. Two years ago - Mariusz Błaszczak said in Polsat News, when asked about the planned ceremony for signing the agreement on engines for Abrams tanks.

- On very good terms, better terms, because today these terms are worse due to Donald Tusk's stance - he noted.

"We must speak only well of Poland abroad" - said Mariusz Błaszczak on Polsat News.

"President Nawrocki did not speak ill of Poland; he spoke about the fact that a person who governs badly is in power in our country" - he continued, when asked if President Nawrocki had exaggerated when he was questioned in Bucharest about the Zbigniew Ziobro affair.

"The electoral system, the D'Hondt method, also indicates that we can achieve victory on a single broad list, and I warn against wasting votes, against voting especially for small lists," Mariusz Błaszczak said in Polsat News.

- In the coming days, we have a full program of activities - said Mariusz Błaszczak on Polsat News, when asked when the joint Morawiecki-Czarnek rally would take place.

- I see this as a coordinated action aimed at striking at one of the most important civil liberties of our civilization, which is free speech, the ability to present one's own views. There's no point in hiding the fact that your station is one of the most important hubs for maintaining free speech in Poland, and what is happening is intended to harass you, your editors, people associated with you, and that is why I have made the decision to undertake a coordinated protest action at the European level, against this, from a position at least as strong as I can utilize, that is, the head of the EKR - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on TV Republika.

- He [Donald Tusk] always disappears underground, just like during the pedophilia scandal, when there are problems. He prefers not to speak, he leaves then for some urgent visit, he's not around, he doesn't speak, he talked with his associates, but it's unknown where, and here again we see this kind of event - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on TV Republika.

- I believe we should immediately establish an investigative committee here, concerning all cases of pedophilia where any public figures are involved. It so happens that in a great many cases, these are PO [Civic Platform] activists - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on TV Republika.

- If we have a series of very 'coincidental' events, in which journalists from one station - a station that is very much in opposition or critical of the government - are entered by police officers... The handcuffing of Mr. Sakiewicz's assistant is completely incomprehensible, unacceptable. On what grounds, for what reason? After all, this lady was probably released later - said Zbigniew Bogucki on Kanał Zero.

- This is an attempt at intimidation. This is an attempt at a subliminal introduction of fear among both the editors and the viewers of this station, we are talking about Republika, and therefore generally within the right-wing environment - he stated.

- I would expect accountability from those who carried out these actions, at the very least. Because the question is, who planned these actions, who reported them, meaning also apprehending these perpetrators of unjustified interventions. Someone made that call, someone informed in one way or another about events that did not happen, and set the services in motion. And the worst part of all this is that these services acted in a certain way, for example, by handcuffing [Tomasz Sakiewicz's] assistant - said Zbigniew Bogucki on Kanał Zero.

- All of President Nawrocki's actions are aimed at ensuring US Army soldiers remain here. Today, there is no information from Washington to suggest otherwise - Zbigniew Bogucki said on Kanał Zero.

- If we recall President Trump's statement from a few days ago, when asked about the reduction of the American contingent in Germany, about those 5,000 soldiers, and whether they would be relocated to other countries, he only mentioned Poland and President Nawrocki, in a positive way of course, as the leader and the country that can count on a potential increase in the number of American soldiers in Poland - he continued.

- We truly need to approach this calmly. I understand that the ruling party has done nothing positive in this matter. They have only obstructed. If they hadn't obstructed President Nawrocki, that would already be a success. [...] I ask for this in the name of Poland – precisely, not to obstruct - he indicated.

"I was deluded into thinking that besides being Poland's Prime Minister, even though Mr. Tusk does not serve Polish interests, he was, in the sense of liberal and left-wing elites, a European – meaning, he cared for the interests of the community. And it is in the interest of the community that the number of American soldiers on European territory be maintained" - said Zbigniew Bogucki on Kanał Zero.

"Whether they are in Germany or in Poland, from the perspective of even someone who thinks solely through the prism of the European Union [...] it doesn't matter. However, the Polish Prime Minister should think about ensuring these soldiers are primarily in Poland, and secondarily in Europe" - he stated.

In his opinion: "It is evident that for Donald Tusk, the relationship with Berlin is more important than serving Polish interests and serving the interests of the community. And this is appalling."

- Every word in this [referendum] question, posed by President Nawrocki, is true – said Zbigniew Bogucki on Kanał Zero.

- Isn't that unserious? Have you ever heard of a leading question? – asked Robert Mazurek.

- But is that thesis untrue? – replied the Head of the President’s Chancellery.

- A thesis is included, but it is true – stated Bogucki.

- We are heading to the USA today to hold meetings at the State Department, the Department of War, the Pentagon, but also with a number of other individuals, such as American congressmen, in order to strengthen the Polish-American alliance and also to ensure that the messages coming from the USA are always unambiguous. I have no doubts about the durability of the Polish-American alliance, and we have also received a clear assurance from the commander-in-chief of American forces in Europe that this whole storm concerning American soldiers does not concern Poland - stated Cezary Tomczyk at a press briefing in the Sejm.

- Today, I would primarily appeal to politicians associated with President Nawrocki, perhaps to the President himself, and certainly to PiS politicians, that when it comes to state security, all hands should be on deck - stated Cezary Tomczyk at a press briefing in the Sejm.

- I am going to the USA with a message from Prime Minister Tusk and from the Minister of Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz: that Poland is ready for an increased American presence in Poland and that this is the official stance of the government. This is our position today, and I would like everyone, regardless of their political views, especially those close to President Nawrocki, to support this position - he continued.

- I am only surprised by what has happened in the last few hours, that we have all heard that the President, when abroad, speaks ill of Poland. This is indeed something unprecedented. Primarily, these [words] concern the rule of law and Zbigniew Ziobro, because these matters simply do not help in building external relations either - stated Cezary Tomczyk at a press briefing in the Sejm.

- If the President of the Republic of Poland, not a politician, not some petty politician here from the Sejm, someone who rather wants to distinguish himself by being loud rather than wise, speaks of his own country as being lawless and that, if I recall correctly, some political processes are being played out here, it means that President Nawrocki simply lacks a basic understanding of the place he is in and perhaps acts on his emotions, but certainly not in the interest of the state - he continued.

- Of course, we hear these voices that are coming from the Pentagon, but they are not voices at the political level. President Karol Nawrocki recently spoke with President Trump, and the agreements from that conversation absolutely remain in force – stated Marcin Przydacz during a press briefing in Rome.

- The President is also in direct contact with the Ministry of National Defence. He recently met with Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz, and with General Kukuła. There is full coordination of these actions here. The government can absolutely count on the support of the President, because this is an absolutely priority matter, a question of Polish security - said Marcin Przydacz during a press briefing in Rome.

- The presence of American allies in Europe in general, and even more so on the eastern flank, and even more so in Poland, is an absolutely crucial matter - he indicated.

- Respecting the Constitutional Tribunal's interim order and, simultaneously, the Sejm's lack of reaction to this ruling, I submitted my resignation from the function of the President of the National Council of the Judiciary (KRS) on May 15, 2026 - informed Dagmara Pawełczyk-Woicka on social media.

- The absence of a President creates an obligation for the First President of the Supreme Court to convene a plenary session for the purpose of electing a President. Whether the First President will convene a session with the composition elected by the Sejm on May 15, 2025 (in violation of the law), or with the previous composition, I leave to his decision - she informed.

- I have the conviction here that certain American actions unfortunately stem not only from their own decisions, but also from a certain narrative that has been seeped in over recent weeks and months, and this negative narrative towards Americans, often ill-considered, unnecessary statements, give impetus to those who would seek to limit American troops in Europe - said Marcin Przydacz during a press briefing in Rome.

- Because there are indeed such forces in the United States that say, since Europe is not showing its solidarity anyway, and is not demonstrating its proactive stance anyway, then perhaps American troops are not needed there - he continued.

- The President, and we, his administration, are trying to persuade [people] about the value of our presence in Poland, on the Eastern flank, and in Europe more broadly. However, ill-considered, unnecessary statements, which stem rather from a desire to score tiny points within the Polish public debate, do not serve this security - said Marcin Przydacz during a press briefing in Rome.

- I appeal from this place for the Prime Minister and Marshal Czarzasty to refrain from these false and unnecessary, negative anti-American narratives, because they do not help the cause - he pointed out.

- The key task today is for the Ministry of National Defence. I have the conviction that this Ministry has not always participated very actively in this discussion over recent months. This was also the effect of a certain surprise regarding these actions and decisions - said Marcin Przydacz during a press briefing in Rome.

- So we will certainly cooperate together here, but we are counting on the fact that first and foremost this confusion and communication chaos will be properly cut short and explained at the level of the Ministry of National Defence. And if this does not bring a positive outcome, then certainly the President and we as his support base will engage even more intensively, because the matter is indeed important - he announced.

As he indicated: - First, the chaos must be brought under control, and second, potential announced decisions must be counteracted. This must first be done in direct relations with the Pentagon, with the Department of War, through the Ministry of National Defence. If this does not yield a positive result within the next hours, or days at most, then of course we will also carry out tasks at the political level.

- We encourage the government primarily to curb this anti-American narrative, because it does not help the cause, it does not help the security of the Polish state, and it is simply an irresponsible action - said Marcin Przydacz during a press briefing in Rome.

- A few days before this decision announced by the Pentagon, I myself pointed out that negative signals were coming from the Pentagon, specifically from those who are not supporters of our presence on NATO's eastern flank, who are using these statements by Prime Minister Tusk and Marshal Czarzasty as an argument to combat our presence on NATO's eastern flank. Even then, we pointed to this, in our opinion, risky action by the Prime Minister and Marshal Czarzasty - he continued.

- We have heard - and I have spoken about this publicly - about a certain deteriorating atmosphere in the Pentagon in the context of, let's be blunt, the President's [Prime Minister's - ed.] interview in the Financial Times. This is an international newspaper, and Americans read it too - he indicated.

He continued: - Undermining guarantees, lack of faith in Polish or European-American relations, criticism of Americans has not gone unnoticed by officials and politicians from the Pentagon. That is why we are appealing for the Prime Minister's maturity in the context of the Polish state's security

- This is a special moment confirming one of the most important foundations of Poland’s security, which is the friendly, long-standing, and very deep friendship and cooperation between Poland and the USA. Defense is the core of this cooperation, and today we are witnessing an extraordinary ceremony. Ceremony might be too strong a word, but the facts that led to this ceremony require strong words. Behind me stand Abrams tanks, one of Poland’s biggest investments, one of the best examples of truly massive Polish-American cooperation, 366 Abrams tanks - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the ceremonial signing of the agreement for the Abrams Tank Engine Service Center.

- This investment alone amounts to PLN 300 million. We are rectifying certain imperfections in past contracts. Imagine, if these decisions, which we are finalizing with these signatures, had not been made, the inspection and repair of the engines that are here, in Polish Abrams tanks, would have to take place in the USA. Thanks to good cooperation, very intensive efforts by many ministers, and mutual understanding from both the American and Polish sides, we have achieved a success unexpected by many. There are only 3 places in the world where such centers operate. These are, of course, the USA, Australia, and Poland - he continued.

- I don't think I need to convince anyone that it's hard to find better proof of the durability, reliability, and long-term perspective when it comes to Polish-American cooperation and friendship. I am convinced that there are no such turbulences, no such situations, even if we live in very unstable times, uncertain times, times of changing strategies, but I am absolutely convinced that all these difficulties of the current era will not affect what is the foundation of our European and American security, and that foundation is precisely mutual trust and long-term work - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the ceremonial signing of the agreement for an Abrams tank engine service center.

- I would like to emphasize very clearly, using this opportunity, that from the Polish perspective, and as far back as I can remember, it has always been this way, it is not changing, it is this way, and it will remain this way: transatlantic unity is not only a guarantee of security and peace here on Polish soil, but it is also a guarantee for an international order increasingly exposed to various risks, which protects our globe from world conflict. Therefore, the task for all of us, here in Poland, in Europe, on the other side of the Atlantic, in the USA, in Canada, the task for all of us, without exception, is to ensure that transatlantic cooperation, regardless of various political variables, endures this difficult period - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the ceremonial signing of the agreement for an Abrams tank engine service center.

- There is no alternative to Polish-American, European-American friendship and cooperation. We know this from the past as well. Poland is the best example for all other countries here - he continued.

- As Poland, we will always expect the same things that we ourselves offer to our closest allies - respect, predictability. As I said, there is no alternative for transatlantic relations, and of course, there is no alternative to Polish-American friendship and cooperation - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the ceremonial signing of the agreement for an Abrams tank engine service center.

- I am happy, because everyone probably understands this, both in Warsaw and in Washington, and in European capitals, that these relations will be built, are being built, and will be built in the future on mutual respect, on the conviction that one can count on the other. Allies, including primarily the USA, have always been able to count on Poland, can count on it today, and will be able to count on it in the future. I am absolutely convinced that these partnership relations, never on our knees, always with our heads held high, are appreciated on both sides of the Atlantic - he continued.

- I am counting on the fact that in the coming days and weeks, these healthy relations, these good rules, and therefore mutual respect, that all of this will allow us to build our cooperation, both in the short and long term, and that it will always be based on such stable premises. We do not expect this from our allies for free, because no one in Europe, no one in NATO, invests as much in their own, common security as Poland does - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the ceremonial signing of the contract for the Abrams tank engine service center.

- The fact that Poland today is an example of wise, courageous security policy, the fact that Poland today enjoys such a good reputation among its allies, also resulted from the fact that in Poland, as I have already said, it was always possible to build consensus and agreement around security issues. The military, a secure border, alliances, Polish-American friendship - these were all issues that never subject to internal tensions - he continued.

- Just like everywhere else in the world, politics in Poland is dynamic and of course it also consists of conflicts and emotions, which is understandable. But for these past few decades, it has been possible in Poland, and it remains so today, to remove these most important issues – namely security, the Polish military, the Polish border, the Polish-American alliance – from these political skirmishes and disputes. Let it remain so. Let no one be tempted to jeopardize Poland's security for some short-term political interest. I am convinced that all responsible individuals, not only by nature but also in terms of their duty for Poland's security and for secure and wise alliances, will understand how important it is to maintain this consensus. It is a treasure in Polish politics that Poles have never quarreled over these very issues - the prime minister emphasized.

"It is not Poland's role to review new strategies or a different type of diplomacy, but our role is to remind – you have friends here, exclusively friends on the Vistula. You have the most loyal ally, it's worth remembering, because America won't find a better ally anywhere," stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the ceremonial signing of the agreement for an Abrams tank engine service center.

- The Abrams tanks, those standing behind us, are from the 1st Armoured Brigade in Wesoła, and the soldiers who have already mastered this equipment are very satisfied with it - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the official signing of the agreement for an engine service center for Abrams tanks.

- This is only possible because we made a very responsible, good, wise decision in government that the changes, transformation, and modernization of the Polish army are not a one-term process, but one spanning many, and no political emotions will affect this security strategy, the continuation of what is good, and the fixing of shortcomings - he continued.

"Wherever there has been a call for assistance to the American state and nation, and participation in peacekeeping missions, Poland is, was, and will be present, because this is our credo for a free, democratic, and secure world" – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the solemn signing of the agreement for a service center for Abrams tank engines.

- What was decided at the NATO summit in The Hague, to achieve 5% [of GDP on defense spending] by 2035, Poland is achieving in 2026. It serves as an example for all European countries - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the official signing of the agreement for an Abrams tank engine service center.

- This expectation from President Trump's administration was met immediately - he continued.

- We understand that there is a reorganization of the US military presence in Europe. But this reorganization cannot come at the expense of the United States' biggest ally in Europe. Poland is the biggest ally - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the ceremonial signing of the agreement for a service center for Abrams tank engines.

- These examples, including joint investments, purchases, and the construction of facilities for American soldiers, for whose presence, for each of them, we invest approximately $15,000 annually. This distinguishes us from other European countries - he continued.

- Poland is also a model ally in terms of alliance commitments, as today it fulfills those that some countries will manage to fulfill by 2035 - he went on to say.

- This also deserves a frank conversation [...]. It is difficult to be surprised by those whom one trusts the most and has entrusted the most to. I believe that all misunderstandings, more of a media buzz, will be clarified in the coming days - he added.

- The Prime Minister [Donald Tusk] could have bitten his tongue several times, and that's obvious. However, as is usually the case in politics, he probably didn't imagine that the Americans were so serious about withdrawing troops – said Krzysztof Bosak in an interview with Marek Tejchman on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).

- The discussion about a strategic shift in American policy began over a decade ago. There were individual analysts, strategists, publicists, and generals who, [...] among others, the late Gen. Skrzypczak was a pioneer of this debate […], where it was a fresh idea that we needed to start thinking not about preparing the Polish army for missions, but about defending our own territory - said Krzysztof Bosak in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- 15 years ago, it was a fresh idea, but in the meantime, the Polish army continued to de-capitalize for many more years, reserves aged, defense spending was at a low level, and a large part of it went towards the pensions of generals, colonels, and various officers from the PRL era. It seems to me that we should hold accountable those who neglected the country's defense preparations during those years - he stated.

- Did you – you, as the Sejm – elect a new KRS? - Marek Tejchman asked on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).

- I believe we did. I participated in that vote - Krzysztof Bosak replied.

"In my opinion, we have reached a level of certain cabaret and anarchy that is a disgrace to our entire state. [...] That is why we in Konfederacja are postulating a constitutional reset," said Krzysztof Bosak on "Gość Wydarzeń" (Polsat News).

Responding to the remark that there is currently no chance for such a reset, he replied: "There are chances, there is no will - let's distinguish between these. Preparing amendments to the constitution, closing this entire dispute, that is two weeks of good political and legal work. There is no will."

In his assessment: "Neither PiS, nor Platforma, nor PSL, nor Lewica want to sit down at the table, bring in people not implicated in this dispute, appoint them to these bodies, close the matter, and move forward."

- I am in favor of competition in healthcare. We already have this competition in some areas, such as primary healthcare. Some areas are becoming market-driven through de facto processes, as it is impossible to get treatment in the public sector. People are moving to the private sector - said Krzysztof Bosak in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- However, this process is currently completely left to a bureaucratic element, and the government is shirking its responsibility, pushing everything onto local authorities - he added.

- Please don't force divisions within Confederation - said Krzysztof Bosak on "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events) on Polsat News.

- We have different opinions on various matters, but we have a common strategy and please believe that we are looking for the best solutions for every area. Sometimes they might come from Sławomir Mentzen's circle, sometimes from my circle - he continued.

- Zbigniew Ziobro did not have a European Arrest Warrant issued against him, so he was able to move freely between European Union countries - said Marcin Kierwiński in an interview with Monika Olejnik on TVN24's "Kropka nad i" program.

- What we are focusing on is how to bring Ziobro back to Poland, because I have no doubt that the request that will be filed, although it might take a little more time for the extradition process, sooner or later will lead to Ziobro facing the Polish justice system - he continued.

- One of our current MPs is a former PiS MP. One of our current MPs is a former councilor elected on the PiS list. So, we have no prejudice. However, we will be very cautious because we don't want rats fleeing a sinking ship - said Krzysztof Bosak in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- I think it's a perspective of this week, I think Wednesday-Thursday is a realistic deadline. Minister Gawkowski has prepared a regulation taking into account all the comments from the Ministry of Interior and Administration - said Marcin Kierwiński in an interview with TVN24, when asked when the transcription issue would be resolved.

- Consultations with all ministries concluded today. I think tomorrow is the time when the Government Legislation Centre will prepare the official document, which will be signed by Minister Gawkowski and countersigned by me - he continued.

- The police received a report [...] that a child's suicide might occur at a house on a specific street. Within 11 minutes of informing the Children's Ombudsman to the arrival of the patrol, the police intervened because they have to intervene. [...] And the fact that the person who opened the door did not want to cooperate with the police is a fact - said Marcin Kierwiński on TVN24, when asked about the police intervention at Tomasz Sakiewicz's apartment.

- No doors were kicked in there [...] it is Mr. Sakiewicz who wants to create an atmosphere of some extraordinary police intervention. No, the officers arrived because they had such a report and it was their duty - he continued, when pressed whether "it was necessary to kick in the doors".

- In this type of case, regardless of Mr. Sakiewicz's hysteria, the police will react - he added.

"I deeply regret that the president is involved in spreading fake news. What search, because I keep hearing that word? If police officers receive a report [...] that a child's life may be endangered at a given address, they have an obligation to enter that apartment and not to conduct a search, but to see if something bad is happening there," said Marcin Kierwiński on TVN24.

- Within the scope of Minister Grodecki's competence, of course, the information will be provided to him, within his scope of competence, because it is not Minister Grodecki's competence to ask about specific police interventions, but we will answer those questions that we can answer within the law - said Marcin Kierwiński on TVN24.

- European politicians were more concerned by the irresponsible words of the Polish Prime Minister in the "Financial Times." Undermining the North Atlantic Alliance, Article 5, and the Polish-American alliance is not good, neither for NATO nor for Polish-American relations, so it was rather a matter of some misunderstanding of what is happening in Poland. Why does this misunderstanding occur due to the Polish Prime Minister? - stated Karol Nawrocki in an interview with wPolsce24.

- In matters of diplomacy and security, one must behave responsibly. I hope Prime Minister Tusk learns his lesson and will not speak so unwisely about our allies again - he added.
