- Mr. President, you have taken the following things from people in Poland, which need to be spoken about: joint tax filing, exemptions from inheritance tax and other civil law transactions, the right to care benefits, the right to a family pension, the possibility of covering a partner with health insurance, the right to housing, the right to decide on burial, the right to information about one's health status, and the right to inheritance. You have taken these from these people. And do not hide behind ideological statements. You simply took them from millions of people - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in the Sejm.

- You have taken away the rights of people who, for some reason, do not decide to be married, or to have a civil ceremony, or a church wedding. People have the right to live as they wish - he indicated.

As the Marshal of the Sejm emphasized, addressing the president: - You will not force people into a way of life dreamed up by yourself by any law. [...] You have wronged people today. You have wronged a lot of people, and let that sink in. These are not some ideological fantasies and your actions against people from the LGBT community. These are some kind of phobias.

- You have wronged people who have children outside of marriage, meaning they are not married but have children. You have wronged these people - he added.
