Because the European Union, apart from the ATM element, which is the simplest element seen in various places, is a structure of values. And Ukraine found out about this just two days ago, when the European Union said: buddy, if you think you can join the European Union by praising a murderer – Lewica says this, Kosiniak-Kamysz says this, Prime Minister Tusk says this – then you won’t get in. - When we look at it [the rainbow] and say, we repeat the word peace, we must immediately follow it with the word truth. This is what we heard in today's homily. There is no peace without truth, and there will be no peace without truth. It can be short-lived, it can be temporary. - What is the truth? The truth is that the end can never justify the means. Today's explanation by the Ukrainian authorities, today's explanation by the defenders of the memory of murderers, that they were fighting the Soviets, that they were fighting for Ukraine's freedom, is not an explanation for bestiality - he continued.

- This is not an explanation for something we often call animalistic, bestial. But this is untrue, because animals, cattle, do not behave like those who, as we heard in today's homily, and as we also repeated in the Sejm, wrote in their program of action - our struggle must be zoological, bestial, wrote the head of the UPA military department. It must be so brutal that for the next ten generations no Pole will dare to look towards Ukraine. That is why methods unknown in the fight for independence were used. Extremely drastic, brutal methods. Cruel pain was inflicted on Poles solely because they were Poles – civilians, mothers, children, the elderly, all those who lived here in Wiązownica. All those who lived in Volhynia, in Eastern Lesser Poland. And it is difficult to understand two things - emphasized the PiS candidate for prime minister.

- I don't know if it's feasible [a comprehensive change in the healthcare system before the elections], but I know that the Minister of Health has taken a good direction at the moment. We, as The Left, and I am a social democracy politician, therefore I also have this point of view on the matter, have said both within the coalition and within the ministry: we are able to support any, even the most radical solution, both in matters of institutions and in personnel matters - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty on TVN24.

- How is it possible that with all the knowledge the world possesses today, because everyone has this knowledge, some people reject it, don't want to accept it, but everyone has it. How is it possible that perpetrators of genocide are glorified in today's Ukraine? - stated Przemysław Czarnek during the ceremony commemorating the victims of the Volhynia Massacre.

- If we want the peace that our generation is living in, if we want this peace for today's young children, for those who are born today here in Podkarpacie and throughout Poland. If we want peace for our future generations who will follow us in this relay of generations, then we have no right, we have a sacred duty to awaken the world, to awaken Europe, to awaken Brussels, to awaken every European capital and say: 'We must not allow the glorification of genocidaires, oppressors, people who brutally inflict death on another human being. A free Ukraine will not be built this way, a free Europe for the future will not be built this way - he continued.

- Thanking all of you present here, thanking all the organizers, all those who formed the Social Committee for this plaque dedicated to the victims of the OUN-UPA genocide against the civilian population of Wiązownica, thanking all of you who are organizing numerous ceremonies across the country today and tomorrow, I want to say once again – it is not our right, it is our sacred duty to leave a free Poland and peace for our future generations. And this can only happen if we force Ukraine to face the truth – stated Przemysław Czarnek during the ceremonies commemorating the victims of the Volhynian Massacre.

This is a coalition I believe in. This is a coalition that doesn't do everything well. This is a coalition that messed this particular issue up – and that’s a polite word. Therefore, we need to fix it - he assessed.

- So, at this moment - my role as one of the leaders of social democracy - is to offer ideas, to help, not to pull the rug out from under anyone, but simply to help, because this is a coalition I believe in - he pointed out.

- I wanted to leave you this book of poems by Zygmunt Jan Rumel. And this poem 'Two Mothers' is extremely shocking, which conveys, conveys precisely the reserves of goodwill that were in this man. That it was genocide, an organized action, is evidenced by the order issued by Roman Shukhevych, the commander of OUN UPA in February 1944. This order was very clear: exterminate Poles to the last man, and burn Polish villages. There is no doubt about the motives. This is something we must remember today, and I would like to ask our distinguished cardinals a question: did they, before writing this letter, certainly consult and turn for reflection to Orthodox clergy, so that they too would evaluate what was done at that time today. Madam Editor, we must set several important conditions regarding history, because we will probably move on to strategy, to what is happening.
