At 1:00 PM, a press conference will be held by the Marshal of the Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, along with representatives of the Climate Coalition, Prof. Zbigniew Karaczun and Prof. Szymon Malinowski.

The Sejm will resume its proceedings at 9:00 AM with questions on current affairs. From 11:15 AM, it will hear a current affairs report – at the request of the Law and Justice (PiS) parliamentary club – concerning the "resilience of Polish railway transport to atmospheric conditions and the technical condition of rolling stock, including wagons acquired from Germany and their impact on passenger transport safety".

At 12:00 PM, the Sejm's Committee on Rules of Procedure, Deputies' Affairs, and Parliamentary Immunity will consider a request to grant permission for criminal prosecution, detention, and temporary arrest of KO MP Wojciech Król, submitted by the European Public Prosecutor.

At 2:30 PM, deputies will address committee reports on three parliamentary draft resolutions commemorating the victims of the genocide committed by Ukrainian nationalists against Poles.

At 5:00 PM, the second reading of the government's draft amendment to the law on public collective transport will take place.

- The biggest worry for President Kaczyński is that he has lost his hegemony on the right and that beyond PiS, there is now Konfederacja, today there is Mr. Grzegorz Braun's Korona, and it turns out that our combined result is better than PiS's. And that, I think, is President Kaczyński's biggest worry. Or rather, it should be in my opinion. Is it? I don't know - said Anna Bryłka in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

- This lack of credibility of PiS and the lack of credibility of PiS's candidate for prime minister is obvious to everyone. You can't change your mind every few months on fundamental elements of your program. Of course, Minister Czarnek probably compromises himself the most with his statements regarding migration, or Ukrainian policy in general - Anna Bryłka said on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

- Why does PiS disagree with SAFE, with joint debt, now, but agrees to joint debt for Ukraine? They agree to the KPO, joint debt, but disagree with SAFE, joint debt. Well, that's total inconsistency - she added.

- PiS has the biggest identity problem. It doesn't know what kind of party it's supposed to be. Of course, it's very good at pretending or trying to pretend to be the Confederation, but it has zero credibility in doing so. Why should a voter choose PiS's quasi-Confederation when they can vote for the original in the form of our Confederation or even Grzegorz Braun's even more extreme party? - said Anna Bryłka on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- Do you really think President Kaczyński is serious about a Senate pact and is inviting Marek Wóch to create one? If President Kaczyński were serious about a Senate pact, he would talk to Mr. President, he would talk to us, and he would talk to Mr. Grzegorz Braun, said Anna Bryłka on Polsat News' "Graffiti."

- This is an example that PiS does not want to build a real Senate pact. A Senate pact without the participation of all parties of the broadly understood right-wing makes absolutely no sense. We are only able to reduce the representation of Civic Coalition and the entire current ruling establishment by uniting the entire right-wing, she stated.

Referring to Marek Wóch's support in the first round of the presidential elections, she added: - Where does [PiS leader] start? 0.09. Well, we're joking here, 0.09. No, this shows that the only entity on the political right-wing scene that does not want this pact, a real Senate pact, is PiS.

- We already know that some of Poland's demands will be taken into account, including free certificates in the long term, but also a different approach to reductions that better considers the specifics of individual member states - Paulina Hennig-Kloska said in an interview on RMF FM's "Morning Conversation.".

- We are awaiting the document that is to be [...] officially presented by the European Commission on Friday [...]. We form a group that Brussels must reckon with, because we have a blocking minority. This is a key negotiation tool with Brussels - she continued.

- This is a huge success for my negotiation team, it is a huge success for Polish diplomacy, because until now, whenever we approached discussions at the Brussels level about ETS, about emissions, we were dealing with a tightening of regulations, and now, for the first time, we will see a softening of emissions policy - she added.

– The first step should be by the Presidential Palace, under the patronage of Karol Nawrocki. And that would be something that would unite all parties on the right – Karol Nawrocki as the patron of this entire initiative [the Senate pact] and uniting all right-wing parties. Without Konfederacja, without Mr. Grzegorz’s party, without PiS, there is no talk of any Senate pact – said Anna Bryłka in “Graffiti” on Polsat News.

- I have no doubts that building a Senate pact at a central level will be very difficult. However, I believe that at the local and regional level, it is very probable, because we know each other and cooperate on various levels, in different patriotic initiatives - said Anna Bryłka in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

- In my opinion, there is a chance to make arrangements between districts, where we won't field a candidate in one district, and they won't field one in another, so they have a senator and we have a senator, therefore it is achievable. The question is whether there will be a green light from Nowogrodzka [the headquarters of the ruling party] for such cooperation between us - she stated.

- We are forming a political group precisely for the baseline scenario to be an independent start in parliamentary elections, and at this moment, we are preparing for the September program convention - said Paulina Hennig-Kloska on RMF FM, when asked if the Centre Union would run together with Civic Coalition on a single list in the parliamentary elections.

- We are not ruling out various scenarios, but the baseline scenario is an independent start - she continued, when questioned, among other things, about talks with the Polish People's Party regarding a potential joint run.

"Obviously, the situation there is such that PiS's extreme shift, speaking the language of Konfederacja, increasingly validates Konfederacja, while PiS declines, so they are in a very difficult situation, and the drops in polls will cause great nervousness in that environment" - said Paulina Hennig-Kloska in RMF FM, when asked if PiS would fall apart and Mateusz Morawiecki with his association would be expelled from the party.

- We don't have any common votes even with this [liberal] side of the Civic Coalition, because our programs are so inconsistent. So it's hard for me to imagine any talks with the KO - said Anna Bryłka in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

- I don't see any programmatic ground here where one could cooperate with the KO, but also not with PiS. We have some areas that diverge. Of course, on a rhetorical level, the average voter might say there's not a big difference between us. However, when I come and see these votes in the European Parliament, I grasp my head. Because here in Warsaw there are completely different statements, and here there are completely different votes in the European Parliament - she continued.

- We have a ready extradition request [for Zbigniew Ziobro]. It is currently being translated. I said two days ago that we would translate this request within 7 days and submit it to the appropriate American authorities. But now, imagine Ziobro landing in Brussels. The Americans would say: what extradition, he doesn't live with us anymore. I would have to submit a request for a European Arrest Warrant again, and the prosecutors would have to, and the court would set a date in six months, and Ziobro would travel around the entire EU, except for Poland, and then, laughing in all our faces, he would fly back to the USA - stated Waldemar Żurek on PR3.

- The decision regarding PiS members' involvement in associations has been made. You either want to be in one organization or the other. The goals of the 'Rozwój Plus' association are clear – political and they contradict the activities of PiS – wrote Rafał Bochenek on social media.

- What's more, the association's activities lead to the fragmentation of the party's structures, the exploitation of PiS resources to build one's own organization, and the fanning of conflicts. Despite attempts to convince otherwise, it must be said directly: the 'Rozwój Plus' association does not help, but harms the unity of the Polish right, and thus also the future of our Homeland – emphasized the PiS spokesperson.

- The deadline for each parliamentarian to make a decision is July 23rd this year. Each person makes their choice independently, without coercion – he noted.

- We would like to provide a kind of summary of these ongoing audits, as well as those that have been completed [...]. The audits covered 167 entities in terms of public funds management, including 17 ministries, foundations, and associations - said Andrzej Domański at a press conference dedicated to audits of domestic public fund expenditures in the years 2020-2023.

- The total amount of identified irregularities is 120 billion Polish zlotys, approximately 3% of our GDP, which is more than half of what we spend annually on security. And these audits have very concrete consequences: 250 notifications of suspected criminal offenses have already been submitted to the prosecutor's office - he continued.

- These are very well-prepared notifications; literally, one can count on the fingers of one hand the applications that have been dismissed by the prosecutor's office so far. 200 proceedings have been initiated by the prosecutor's office, and 106 billion Polish zlotys is the total amount of notifications that have been sent to the prosecutor's office - he went on to say.

- The past few weeks have reminded us, and indeed shown us, that climate change is not a matter of opinion, but a matter of fact. You know what happens when temperatures reach 35, 40 degrees Celsius. You know that these temperatures also herald changes that didn't used to occur. Storms, phenomena that Poland as a country must cope with. Therefore, talking and pretending that climate change doesn't exist makes no sense - Włodzimierz Czarzasty said at a press conference in the Sejm.

- The point, however, is to consider what the Polish state should do about this phenomenon and how to ensure the safety of citizens when climate changes are occurring. It is precisely at this time, when these changes are happening and we are feeling their effects, that scientists representing various fields and research centers operating within the Climate Coalition have approached me - he continued.

- In their appeal, they pointed to the need to take action and initiate a very serious discussion that would prepare everyone, primarily citizens, but also central government offices, local governments, everyone functioning in Poland, for this phenomenon. My meeting with representatives of the coalition was a response to this appeal - the Marshal of the Sejm continued.

He stated: - We have reached an agreement and established that on September 7, 2026, a major debate on Poland's climate security will be held in the Column Hall. The Sejm is an open place, it should be a place open to substantive debate on any topic, even if it is the most complicated and even if no one wants to talk about it.

- I also want to say that I informed Minister Hennig-Kloska about this, because I believe it should be this way, as we are not doing this in opposition to anyone. We are doing this in order to cope with this phenomenon, which is climate change - Czarzasty added.

"At the moment of the Tusk government's greatest crisis, with a huge number of scandals, a collapse of the healthcare system, and conflicts within the coalition, creating an internal division within our party by a narrow group of schemers is the last thing we need," wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on X.

And this must also be taken into account, because a party without subsidies, a party that has no closer ties to the Polish establishment, would simply have no chance then. I must use this word again, to which one belongs and no party can simply tolerate it.

- And hence this decision, which incidentally also concerns this second large grouping that was established as an association. I don't even know if it managed to register, but it has already withdrawn from it and possibly others that would be established, because there are also those that conduct activities that are indeed separate from us, and besides, their members are not members of the party. And then it is permissible. However, when it comes to what is planned, because there have been no such undertakings so far, then we simply have no choice - he concluded.
