At 10:00 AM in Paris, Prime Minister Donald Tusk will participate in a military parade themed “Europe's Strategic Awakening” on the occasion of the National Day.

At 10:30 AM, a public hearing will be held during a meeting of the Sejm committee on culture, national heritage, and the media, concerning the government's draft law on social security for individuals performing artistic professions.

At 12:00 PM, a session of the Council of Ministers will commence. The agenda includes, among other items, a draft resolution regarding amendments to the National Reconstruction and Resilience Plan (KPO). As stated in the justification, the primary objective of the revision is to minimize the risk of receiving incomplete reimbursement from the European Commission for the last payment request.

- The revision is limited to the minimum scope and aims to re-evaluate indicators to the most likely achievable values by the end of August this year. - stated the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy (MFiPR).

Ministers will also address, among other matters, a draft amendment to the law on hotel services and the services of tour leaders and tourist guides, as well as several other laws.

At 2:00 PM, a public hearing will be held for the candidates for the position of Ombudsman: Sylwia Gregorczyk-Abram and Adam Borowski. The Marshal of the Senate, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, who, along with the Marshal of the Sejm Włodzimierz Czarzasty, has patronized this event, will participate.

At 4:30 PM, the Sejm committee on constitutional responsibility will convene for a closed session to consider current matters.

At 5:00 PM, the same committee will continue its discussion on the opinion for the Marshal of the Sejm regarding the statutory conditions for the preliminary motion to hold the former Minister of Justice, Zbigniew Ziobro, accountable constitutionally and criminally before the Tribunal of State.

"The key aspect from our point of view is our joint decision that the first exercises, in which French and British troops will participate – exercises, such maneuvers – will take place in Poland this autumn. These will be exercises that will prepare the entire coalition gathered here in Paris for real security guarantees, not only for Ukraine but also for the region," stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Paris.

- Following the recent speeches by, among others, Russian President Putin, speeches full of threats, and after the latest attack on Kyiv, it is clearly visible that this escalation, which I have been talking about for a long time from the Russian side, is still possible, and therefore, we have accepted with great satisfaction the final decision that Poland will host not only American soldiers, but also British and French ones - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Paris.

- For now, these are exercises, but I announced yesterday to all leaders that Poland will also prepare logistically and financially for the possibility of a permanent presence of not only American troops, but also our allied forces in Europe - he continued.

- He [Przemysław Czarnek] spoke in the language of Russia and PiS itself, through the mouth or pen of President Kaczyński, he acknowledged that the line had been crossed, that this was a statement against Poland's national interest, and that Czarnek, as a candidate for prime minister [...] simply spoke in the Kremlin's language to all of us - said Tomasz Siemoniak in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- He simply took Russia's side, against Ukraine, against Poland's national interest, effectively disqualifying himself from major politics, because I can't imagine anyone thinking now that he could be the Polish prime minister - he stated.

- Many signs indicate that Russia is preparing for further acts of sabotage, not just in Poland, that this Russian policy which permits blowing up railway tracks or setting fire to a shopping center has not ended, and we must seriously reckon with such acts - said Tomasz Siemoniak in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

As he recalled: - A few weeks ago, the shooting of a person protesting against Putin […] on the street of a Polish city - so, the fact that we are talking about such threats is not a desire to scare or distract. These are simply realities, the realities of recent years, the realities of Russian actions.
