The Sejm will resume its session at 9:00 AM – this is the final day of the sitting.

At this hour, a two-hour voting block will commence, during which, among other things, judges – members of the National Council of the Judiciary – will be elected, and an attempt will be made to appoint the President of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN). MPs will also vote on another version of the draft bill concerning cryptocurrencies.

Just before the voting block, there will be a vote on the parliamentary oath of MP Bożena Borowiec, who will replace the late Łukasz Litewka in the Sejm.

As the Ministry of Culture informs, Piotr Górajec, the current Deputy Director, will assume the position of acting Director of the Museum of the Palace of King John III Sobieski in Wilanów starting May 15th of this year.

The quality of our cooperation, the way the American army approaches Europe and Poland, and also President Trump always speaks well of Poland very consistently - stated Tomasz Siemoniak in "Jeden na jeden" on TVN24.

- American troops in Poland are and will remain. I think this is the most important information, and all of us, regardless of political affiliation, should care that there are troops in Europe and in Poland, primarily in Poland, but also in Europe - stated Adam Szłapka on RMF FM.

- Of course, work is underway, as far as we know, in the USA and the Department of War on the reorganization of American troops in Europe. However, it's clear they have a mess on their side, at least a communication mess, and if this is what the Pentagon spokesperson confirms, it means the withdrawal of some troops from Poland - stated Krzysztof Bosak on PR3.

- In my opinion, it is an abuse to attempt to use arrest where it is unjustified. That is, an attempt to arrest active politicians, members of parliament, representatives of the opposition, who may have broken the law, which has not yet been proven in court. For now, we have accusations against them, unproven in court - he continued.

- To be clear, I absolutely do not justify them. I believe the case of the Justice Fund was at least unethical, perhaps contrary to the law, but this is unproven. However, this is classic white-collar crime, and in my opinion, arrest is for gangsters who pose a physical threat to representatives of the rule of law, police officers, judges, prosecutors, or citizens. Whereas officials and members of parliament, and I say this as Deputy Speaker, who are not gangsters, do not belong to any mafia, and do not pose a threat to others. They should be held accountable, without a doubt, if they have broken the law - emphasized the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm.

- However, the attempt to abuse arrest against them has paralyzed the entire accountability process, because it has given them a pretext to apply for international protection - he added.

- After consulting with the Convention of Seniors, I have decided to remove item 40 from the agenda of the current session - the appointment of the President of the IPN - informed Włodzimierz Czarzasty during the Sejm session.

- This imaginary reality is indeed escalating. One of you, Mr. Rafał yesterday, decided to register a union which he called a marriage. During the morning voting session, MPs adopted another version of the bill on cryptoassets. 241 MPs voted in favor, and 200 voted against. The proposal was supported by the ruling coalition clubs - KO, PSL, Lewica, Centrum, and Polska 2050, as well as the Razem parliamentary group and 5 independent MPs.

- As you know, the veto of this SAFE bill did not, fortunately, stop the funds from coming to Poland, but it made it very difficult to allocate part of these funds specifically for border protection and for the Border Guard. I want to inform you, and I take great satisfaction in doing so, that in two hours, Minister Kierwiński, along with Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz, will announce a decision that will allow for the utilization of additional funds on a scale, more or less, that we had also planned for the Border Guard and border protection - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk after a briefing with the Border Guard.

- In connection with signals about potential reductions from our American ally, we are in constant contact. Personally, Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz and I are in touch with the American commander of NATO troops, American troops, and the NATO Secretary General. The non-military defence preparation program already exists and is functioning, but we will broaden the scope of possibilities to include the needs of the aforementioned formations. This guarantees us that we will gain a security umbrella; responsibility for security is not just about having the best army in the world, which the Polish Army is. It is the responsibility of all of us for building the strength and structure of the state - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.
