At 11:00 AM in Bydgoszcz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, along with Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence Paweł Bejda, will participate in the signing of an agreement between the State Treasury - Armament Agency and BELMA S.A. for the supply of domestically produced anti-tank and training mines. The head of the Ministry of National Defence is scheduled to deliver a speech.

At 12:00 PM, a press briefing will be held at the Ministry of Infrastructure with the participation of the head of the ministry, Dariusz Klimczak, and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Stefan Krajewski, concerning the implementation of the program to refinance vehicle equipment with intelligent tachographs from the National Recovery Plan (KPO).

On Wednesday, President Karol Nawrocki will continue his visit to Dubrovnik, Croatia. At 8:50 AM, the President will be welcomed by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, and at 9:00 AM, a high-level discussion with the participation of heads of state and government of the Three Seas Initiative countries is planned during the Three Seas Initiative Business Forum.

Second Day of the Sejm Session

Wednesday also marks the second day of the Sejm session. Debates will resume at 9:00 AM. The first items on the agenda concern urgent questions and current information.

Later in the session, MPs will address, among other matters, draft laws regarding the amendment of the Tax Ordinance and the Fiscal Penal Code, as well as the committee's report on the prosecutor's request for consent to prosecute Antoni Macierewicz.

- This is an exchange, an action in which both sides must care about someone. We cared very much not only about Andrzej Poczobut, of course, but also about other citizens of Poland or our friendly individuals. Friends and Poles, our citizens, Poland does not leave alone. It always fights for them, it strives for them - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in the "Piasecki Conversation" on TVN24.

- I don't expect too much, but what we have managed to do is stop migration at the Polish-Belarusian border. From January 1st until now, no one has illegally crossed the Polish-Belarusian border. This is a complete change. The pressure is less, but the method of operation has also changed - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- Certainly, these American actions and what has happened open, at least slightly ajar, maybe not wide open, some possibility of normalization. I am not passionately, overly optimistic in this regard, but we have already opened more, not just one, but I think 3 border crossings. The situation at the border is calming down, so we must take care of that - he continued.

- Russia is climbing higher and higher on the escalation ladder. This is evidenced by specific examples from the past year and recent months. Airspace violations of individual alliance states, not just Poland, are becoming more frequent. Provocations over the Baltic Sea, GPS disruptions, sabotage actions from last year, arson incidents in various countries, diversionary drone operations, Copenhagen airport. All of this shows that Russia is heading towards not just provocations, but further aggression - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- We have this precisely described, how it can progress, and unfortunately, it is progressing in the direction where Russia's aggressive policy, provocations, and crossing further boundaries will continue to occur - he continued.

- I believe in the alliance. Please don't differentiate me, because each of us is doing everything we can to make both the EU and NATO as strong as possible, and that is our number two task, besides building our own strength. Another matter is what Europe should do. In my opinion, the Prime Minister is thus expressing the expectations of the USA – Europe, do more and take responsibility for your own defense – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in the TVN24 program „Rozmowa Piaseckiego”.

- We are in a specific place within these US actions. This is not detached from reality, from the new security strategy. Either Europe wants to be a partner for the USA, we want to maintain American troops here, this alliance, and we do more, or the USA will say – you haven't fulfilled this task. So perhaps it is sometimes necessary to be harsher to also awaken Western Europe. Apart from Germany, the countries of Southern Europe need to be awakened. Scandinavia is doing a lot, we have our security vectors which – I think – perceive this similarly. The transatlantic alliance – absolutely, there is no defense of Europe without the USA today - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- I can assure you that this [Donald Tusk’s statement] is not just an emotional statement, meant to incite action. Of course, [solid knowledge stands behind it] - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on TVN24’s “Piasecki’s Interview”.

- Certainly, his [Donald Trump's] green light for negotiators, the fact that he appointed a special envoy for Belarusian affairs. I believe he played a very big role here [in the release of Andrzej Poczobut] - said Tomasz Siemoniak in an interview with Mariusz Piekarski on TVP Info's "Gość Poranka" (Morning Guest).

- I observed with embarrassment yesterday a race, who here is the “most ours” in this whole operation [of Andrzej Poczobut’s release]. […] President Nawrocki’s conversation with President Trump definitely mattered to the case - said Tomasz Siemoniak on “Gość Poranka” on TVP Info.

- However, yesterday’s success was the work of many hundreds of people. Hundreds of people, not only in Poland. And everyone who contributed to this deserves respect. This is not anyone’s property - he pointed out.

- This exchange was very probable because more states than just Poland and Belarus were involved. However, in situations like these, there's never a certainty that something won't happen, [...] that the President of Belarus won't call and say: 'We're not doing it, because of something.' That's what happened last time when we were very close to an exchange - said Tomasz Siemoniak on "Gość Poranka" (Guest of the Morning) on TVP Info.

– That was our condition, accepted by the other side, so it was obvious to us – no Andrzej Poczobut, no exchange – said Tomasz Siemoniak in „Gość Poranka” on TVP Info.

When asked what would happen if Poczobut were not returned, he replied: – There would have been no [exchange] at all. For us, it was an absolute, necessary condition, known to the other side. And that is why Andrzej Poczobut crossed the Polish border first among that group of five.

"– It is the government that presents tax proposals, and I can assure you that all additional excise revenue will be allocated to strengthening healthcare finances," Andrzej Domański said in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Radia ZET".

"No, this project was not consulted with me, the minister did not ask for my opinion [...] we have a principle in the coalition that such tax proposals, or generally those concerning large public expenditures, are usually consulted with me," he continued, when asked if he liked Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz's proposal on the matter and whether she had consulted it with him.

"I think the minister could have consulted this proposal with me earlier," he added.

- Andrzej Poczobut is a great Polish, but also a Belarusian hero of the fight for democracy, the fight for minority rights. He doesn't want to be a pariah. That's why he sat in prison for 5 years, because his dream is a free Belarus. So for me, it was natural that upon crossing the Polish border, he would say something like this - Tomasz Siemoniak said on "Gość Poranka" on TVP Info.

- Many people in the public sphere were also wondering if he even wanted to leave Belarus. [...] For me, it was obvious and natural that he wanted to state very clearly: my concern is Belarus, rights in Belarus, and that he is not a pariah exiled from his country like tens or hundreds of other Belarusian opposition members - he continued.

- He received the best care here. Last night he met with his family, he needs to undergo examinations. However, he is a free man and he will make these decisions. Of course, we will do everything to ensure he has the best possible conditions here, but as I said - he is a free man and will do what he wants - he stated.

- There will be further projects concerning both excise duty and the sugar tax, as well as the so-called "małpki" [...] and these will be governmental projects. Minister Pełczyńska is a minister in the government, but she is not the minister responsible for taxes - said Andrzej Domański on Radio ZET.

- It would be good if we consulted such proposals. I do not comment publicly on what tanks the Polish army should buy or which museums should be funded and which should not - he continued.

- We will have our own projects - he went on to say, when asked whether the government and Civic Coalition would support Pełczyńska-Nałęcz's project.

- No, Poland is not threatened by a second Greece, and besides, Greece currently has very healthy public finances, for that matter. We are taking actions thanks to which the economy is growing, tax revenues are increasing, and the deficit will be gradually reduced - said Andrzej Domański in an interview with Radio ZET, when asked if Poland faces a second Greece if we do not curb the debt.

- We are not conducting any negotiations with the president in this area, that is clear - said Andrzej Domański in Radio ZET, when asked about the Poland 2050 project regarding cryptocurrencies and negotiations with the president on this matter.

- We have twice presented a good project for regulating the crypto-asset market. Chairman Kaczyński would like to ban cryptocurrencies, and we want to regulate this market in a reasonable, responsible way - he continued.

- I naturally respect the efforts of all coalition partners, including Poland 2050, in their desire to regulate this market [...] it is not the case that we cannot agree with each other - he added.

- We must present another government proposal [...] any changes to the previous act should concern additional investor protection in this market, potentially harsher penalties for fraudsters and thieves - he added.

- I think it is probable that these agreements [concerning SAFE] will be signed as early as next week, but to be honest, I don't know the exact schedule yet - said Andrzej Domański on Radio ZET.

- Negotiations with Brussels are often difficult, but I can say that the final outcome of this agreement is very, very beneficial for Poland - he continued.

- Work is currently underway at the Ministry of Finance, we want this windfall tax to be implemented as quickly as possible. I hope that the President will not put up resistance this time. The revenues from such a tax should certainly exceed 4 billion zlotys - said Andrzej Domański on Radio ZET.

- We know how much the CPN program costs, we know how much it costs us to lower prices at fuel stations, and we also know that there are economic entities that benefit from this situation - he continued.

- Because if they claim it was an oath, then this criminal proceeding makes no sense, as here they are claiming the president did not receive the oath. There, they claim the president did receive the oath. So perhaps they should end this political split personality and come back down to Earth – he continued.

"I am a person who acts in accordance with the law. I treat even the silliest summons – like this one – as a statesman would, meaning as a person who complies – like all of us [… ] – by appearing there," said Zbigniew Bogucki in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

"Just like any other citizen, […] every other Pole, every other Polish woman, I will appear even for the silliest summons, because that's what needs to be done," he added.

"It's just a waste of time, because I have other tasks. The prosecutor should be dealing with pursuing real criminals, VAT mafias, organized crime, and so on – instead, they are engaged in a political circus," he assessed.

- This opportunity [for talks regarding a coalition with PSL] has arisen so many times. It's evident that Mr. Kosiniak-Kamysz is tied to Tusk in some way. Somewhere by the cuff or I don't know what, and that's how it looks. So I don't believe in it - stated Przemysław Czarnek during a Q&A session.

- I am a nationalist, so it would definitely be easier for me to reach an agreement with Krzysztof Bosak [than with Sławomir Mentzen] - stated Przemysław Czarnek during a Q&A session.

- Never has the President, never have I, and never has anyone from the Chancellery said that this oath [from the Constitutional Tribunal judges] will not be accepted - said Zbigniew Bogucki on Polsat News' 'Gość Wydarzeń'.

- There is no specified deadline for the President in this regulation. The President has accepted the oath from two individuals. The Sejm delayed for 15 months. So, these dozen or so days, or 20 days of the President's moment of reflection, of analyzing the legal situation - is that a lot compared to 15 months of inaction by the Sejm, the government majority, in an absolutely conscious manner, with the aim of destroying the Tribunal? - he asked.

- But you can end this constitutional crisis in 15 seconds - by accepting the oath - Marek Tejchman noted.

- But how is the President supposed to accept the oath when these individuals claim, and Minister Żurek states, that the oath has already been taken? - replied the Head of the Presidential Chancellery.

- I hope Tusk trips up this year, but that's just a hope. I don't know what will happen with Ms. Hennig-Kloska's vote of no confidence, perhaps only the MP from Poland 2050 from Bieszczady [wants to vote for it] - stated Przemysław Czarnek during a Q&A session.
