You Won't See Anything More Disgusting Today.

Morawiecki During Q&A:
This Government Serves Foreign Interests.
- Yes, I believe this government is subordinate not to Polish raison d'état, not to Polish interests. It is a government that drifts like a helpless leaf on a river and, either consciously or sometimes out of foolishness, or because it allows itself to be outmaneuvered, serves the interests of foreign states, primarily the wealthiest and strongest states of Western Europe, specifically Germany and France, but also the Benelux countries and Austria - stated Mateusz Morawiecki during a Q&A.
21:01
Morawiecki During Q&A:
Good People Never Give Up, the Fight Continues Until the End.
- I am an optimist by nature. We will succeed [in saving Poland] because I never give up. Good people never give up, the fight continues until the end, we move forward, despite setbacks, sometimes mistakes. For mistakes, one must take responsibility. Not everything was perfect, only those who do nothing make no mistakes - stated Mateusz Morawiecki during a Q&A.
20:59
Morawiecki:
Poland's Exclusion from the White House is a Major Loss for the Entire Economy
- The fact that Poland today has no access to the White House, at a time when the White House dictates, tries to dictate, the conditions for the functioning of the global economic architecture, is a great loss for the entire Polish economy. An irreparable loss, because part of this will be impossible to make up for - stated Mateusz Morawiecki during a Q&A session.
20:39
- Just as I am the father of two teenagers, aged 14 and 16, and although they protest against it, I must responsibly say that we should follow the example of Australia, recently Denmark, Prime Minister Mette Fredriksen, as well as France, Greece, and many other sensible countries. Sooner or later, everyone will follow this path. I call on those in power to ban smartphones until a certain age, perhaps 15 or 16, in Polish schools, and to impose restrictions on smartphone use. They truly make people dumber to a large extent, and their use in schools degrades the entire learning process - said Mateusz Morawiecki during a Q&A session.
20:23
Morawiecki:
Merkel and Macron Urged Us to Yield to Putin
- At that European Council meeting, which I remember very well, Chancellor Merkel and President Macron, and the Chancellor of Austria, and all those who usually played in the same orchestra as the Chancellor, were urging us to listen to Putin, to yield to Putin, that it was necessary to cooperate very closely with Putin, that President Biden had accepted the functioning of Nord Stream II just a few months earlier. "What do you Poles want, why are you rebelling at all?" - said Mateusz Morawiecki during a Q&A session.
- Indeed, it was I who blocked the talks between Putin and the European Council at that level. Talks that were in fact intended to lead to an even deeper dependence of Western Europe, and with it, unfortunately, also Poland and Central Europe, on the Russian Federation. - Morawiecki continued.
20:19
- Fixing the state budget after these bunglers will now take one to two years, because I see what they are ruining, what sealing measures will need to be installed, applied, implemented IT-wise, and what training KAS (National Revenue Administration) will require - stated Mateusz Morawiecki during a Q&A session.
20:12
- In the GUS analysis, in the demographic analysis, even fewer children were expected to be born in the next 5, 6, 7 years than were actually born as a result of various actions, but of course, this program [500 plus] also contributed to this, which does not mean that I am satisfied to any extent with the demographic, pronatalist, pro-population effects, because I am not. We are facing a gigantic demographic challenge - said Mateusz Morawiecki during a Q&A session.
- Fertility rates have fallen to a level of approximately 1.1, forgive me for this phrase, child per woman, and this is significantly below the generational replacement level, and this is a significant pain that truly troubles me and causes me to, when constructing a program for the next 4-8 years for the Polish state, for the next government, this issue keeps me up at night and is one of the most important I am dealing with - Morawiecki continued.
19:57
Tusk on the inability to finance the promised tax-free amount:
I didn't know we'd have to spend 200 billion on armaments.
- I want you to believe again, if you have doubted, that we have this strategic plan and it has not changed. If there are adjustments, if we are not doing something, there are serious reasons. I don't want to, I won't look for easy explanations in your eyes - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
- If I cannot finance everything at the moment, like the tax-free amount, then I'll tell you directly: I didn't know we would have to spend 200 billion on armaments. I didn't know that 100 billion of that was for things signed by our predecessor, not always wisely. But I cannot break contracts with close allies [...] because it is directly linked to security strategy. You know what I'm talking about - indicated the head of government.
19:29
Tusk:
Żurek... They'll get indigestion, we'll make sure of it
- Żurek... Yes, they will get indigestion. You know who, we will make sure of that with Minister Żurek - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
19:13
Tusk:
My Party Received 31% of the Votes, So I Delivered 1/3 of What I Promised. A Fair Reckoning?
- I did not receive 100% of the power. Meaning, when I spoke before October 15th, here in Piotrków as well: vote for me, I will have power, I will do this, these 100 things, if I had 100% of the power, there would be these 100 things - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
- I know that the main responsibility falls on me anyway, but let's share the responsibility equally for the whole of Poland, for what is happening in Poland. I received less than 31% of the votes, less than 1/3. I'm talking about the victory on October 15th, but I received 31%, meaning my party, 31%. So I delivered 1/3 of what I promised. A fair reckoning, perhaps? - he continued.
19:12
- Two years ago, wherever I was in Poland [...], I heard from my colleagues your age, a bit older: 'we don't want homework.' I asked teachers: 'this homework makes no sense, because we just have more work.' I asked parents: 'stop with this homework, because we have to do it instead of the children [...]'. I was truly convinced that this was a great appeal from the entire Polish nation, that there should no longer be compulsory homework - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
- So, we abolished compulsory homework. And now, every day I get flak for it. And I understand, I know why. I know why for many teachers it is the loss of a certain disciplinary tool. School is also discipline. Parents worry that they might have to spend money on tutoring, because this homework was indeed… And so on - he continued.
- Now we are constantly talking with all interested parties about what to do so that homework is not a curse, a mere nuisance, and at the same time, to restore some logic of action, so that teachers, students, and parents can help us choose an optimal model - one that truly serves everyone as best as possible - he indicated.
18:53
Tusk:
I Will Never Ride on Negative Emotions
- I will never turn into a 'pisior' [pejorative for a Law and Justice supporter], a confederate [referring to the Confederation party], or Bąkiewicz [a far-right activist]. I will never operate on negative emotions. And that's why this is such a difficult task - how to harness powerful social emotions, but without becoming a cynic, a scoundrel, or a liar - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
18:37
Tusk:
Evidence Suggests a Better-Run Presidential Campaign Might Have Offered a Chance
- This is one of the lessons I'm trying to draw from the last campaign, the one we narrowly lost. Because a lot indicates that if it had been run better, then perhaps there would have been a chance - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
18:34
Tusk's Declaration:
We Will Make Another Attempt.
- I would also like more. We will make another attempt [regarding changes to abortion law], just like with civil partnerships. I know that those on the two most extreme sides of the barricade, Left and PSL, have now reached an agreement, because they were the brakes. Some wanted a lot, others wanted nothing - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
18:30
Tusk on the lack of liberalization of abortion regulations:
I am disappointed, but it’s hard for me to force my partners to change their views.
- I was convinced that the safety of women, women preparing for the most important decision in life, which is giving birth to a child, safety in the hospital, the right to legal abortion up to the 12th week for health, safety, or mental well-being reasons, yes, that was what I believed was possible - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
- This was the first moment when it turned out that the October 15th coalition is not, to put it mildly, monolithic in everything. I say “mildly” because I am disappointed, but it is also difficult for me to force my partners to change their views on this matter - he continued.
- I understood that there is no majority in the Sejm. We simply lost the vote. I appeal to everyone [...] I ask you, look at who votes how [...]. I haven’t changed my mind, but I am unable to convince some members of this coalition to go our way - he went on to say.
18:14
Tusk:
If a decision is made on the location of a second nuclear power plant, Bełchatów is at the top of the list
- I know that in this region you are constantly waiting for some signal about what the future holds for Bełchatów. I know and I understand this - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in Piotrków Trybunalski.
- It cannot be the case that politicians or TV commentators will decide how many power plants, what kind of power plants will be built, and what their locations will be. But today I can say with full awareness and responsibility that if, according to all the analyses we are currently concluding, a decision is made on the second location for a nuclear power plant, then Bełchatów is at the top of that list - he announced.
18:14
Tusk:
The Coming Years Will Require Immense Effort
- No, the coming years will require immense effort, but my dears, if something turns out to be more difficult than it initially seemed, does that mean we should give up? Does it mean we should hand Poland over to those who have led to the greatest price hikes in the history of democratic Poland? - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
18:13
Tusk:
We Did Not Win the Presidential Election. I Take Political Responsibility.
- We did not win the presidential election. I take political responsibility, I am treated as the leader of this coalition, it doesn't hurt me at all. I know I am responsible for the election results of our side. It would certainly be much easier and faster, and I could say with my head held high - now this will really take off like a rocket - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
18:13
Tusk:
We Didn't Deliver Everything We Promised
- We didn't deliver everything we promised. The coalition turned out to be more difficult than we thought - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
18:09
- I remember when the current president spoke about how it would be enough, I don't know, I don't remember anymore, a month or a week, after he became president, for prices to drop by 30%. I know that, against all odds, despite the war, despite a very difficult start in this regard, we managed to achieve a real reduction in energy prices. Both for gas and electricity - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
- Then, when we were threatened with an increase in electricity prices, we froze prices for individual consumers, and as you know, and I am convinced of this too, here I take you as witnesses, that freezing energy prices will no longer be necessary, I'm talking about next year, because these prices will naturally stabilize at the current frozen level - he continued.
18:07
Tusk:
Poland Today Deserves Only Great Things. They Are Happening and Will Continue to Happen
- I want to tell you that he is not the only one who believes that we will do great things in Poland. Because Poland today deserves only great things, and these great things are happening and will continue to happen - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
18:06
Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Speaks Out Mid-Term:
I could say everything is great and will only get better – but I’ll tell the truth.
- We need bold developmental changes. If we stick to the beaten path, we won't maintain economic growth. We won't permanently join the ranks of the wealthiest nations. What's worse, we could lose much of what we've managed to build over the last 30 years - stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in her post on X.
The Minister of Funds and Regional Policy pointed to 6 areas requiring change:
1️⃣ Saving local Poland – our cities cannot share the fate of “Detroit”.
2️⃣ Learning to create and sustain our own national innovations, instead of selling them off abroad.
3️⃣ Shifting Polish energy from senseless coal subsidies to decentralized RES (while maintaining gas).
4️⃣ Focusing on Polish private companies – out of the 100 largest 🇵🇱 companies, only 24 are private. In 10 years, there must be at least twice as many.
5️⃣ Mobilizing banks to provide more affordable loans to people and companies – meaning they should truly finance the economy, instead of generating mountains of gold, a significant portion of which is paid out abroad as dividends.
6️⃣ Linking the fight against the demographic crisis with housing accessibility. Young people are not starting families because they have nowhere to live. Housing should be a place to live, not a capital investment.
She also highlighted her successes regarding the KPO (National Reconstruction Plan), support for Polish companies and technology development, and changes in housing policy.

Tusk:
Today we can solemnly declare the end of PiS-induced high prices. Things haven't gotten cheaper, but they've finally stopped getting more expensive
- What motivated us so much to work, I don't know if you remember. PiS-induced high prices. I can't stand listening anymore when some of our opponents say "it's still as expensive as it was" - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in Piotrków Trybunalski.
- To bring inflation down from 18% to 3% doesn't mean everything has gotten cheaper, I know. But look, you know how easy it is to unleash inflation? Really, all it takes is being Kaczyński to unleash inflation. And do you know how hard it is to fight inflation at such a pace? - he continued.
- I want to say that this is also a source of great satisfaction for me, that today we can solemnly declare the end of PiS-induced high prices. Things haven't gotten cheaper, but they've finally stopped getting more expensive - he went on to say.
17:50
Tusk:
Do you know how much more we will spend on healthcare than in the last year of PiS rule? 84 billion PLN
- Sometimes accusations are made, like "because, for example, nothing has been achieved in healthcare," that there should be more money for healthcare, and there isn't more money - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
- Do you know how much more, and this isn't coming out of my own pocket, I'm not boasting, I'm just talking about what we've done together, what we've managed to achieve. Do you know how much more in the budget we've sent to the Sejm for 2026, how much more we will spend on healthcare than in the last year of PiS rule? - he continued.
- This will be an absolutely abstract amount. 84 billion PLN more in a single year will go towards healthcare. Will we therefore be satisfied with healthcare? Nobody anywhere in the world has ever been satisfied with their healthcare system. I am aware of how much needs to be caught up on - he went on to say.
- For every Pole, this is 2000 PLN more, just for healthcare - he stressed.
17:48
Tusk:
I Don't Buy the Argument That It's My Fault Hołownia's Support Dropped. Everyone's Decline is Self-Inflicted
- Although I don't accept the argument, I'm accustomed to it, but in this case, I don't buy the argument that it's Tusk's fault that Hołownia's support dropped. Everyone's decline is self-inflicted - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
- I would genuinely prefer that everyone who forms this government and who fights every day to make things a little better, day by day, that everyone also be in good condition, but I cannot oversee everything for everyone when it comes to political parties - he continued.
17:47
Tusk:
I'd Really Prefer Other Coalition Parties to Stick Together as Well as Civic Coalition
- Not all participants in our coalition can say the same about themselves. I say this without malice, without irony. I would genuinely prefer other parties in the coalition to stick together as well as Civic Coalition does - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.

Another Poland 2050 MP Criticizes Sekielski:
When Did Your Journalism Become So Painfully Embarrassing?
- Mr. Editor Sekielski, when did your journalism become so painfully embarrassing? - wrote Agnieszka Buczyńska, an MP for Poland 2050 and the club's vice-chairwoman.

Tusk:
We Will Not Capitulate. The Fight for a Better Poland Continues and Always Will
- I wanted to say this today with deep conviction to all Poles and to all of Poland: we will not capitulate. This fight for a better Poland continues and always will. One must never rest, one must never give up - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
- Sometimes you doubt - I understand that. Sometimes, and even often, you say: “faster, stronger, why so slow? You haven’t delivered this yet, you haven’t done that.” And you are absolutely right to do so. Yes, you are there to keep watch, to cheer on. If necessary, even to shout at the authorities whom you yourselves have elected - he continued.
17:42
Tusk:
This is Exactly Why We Voted on October 15th – So No One Yells at Anyone in Poland
- This is precisely why we voted on October 15th, so that no one in Poland yells at anyone, doesn't raise their voice. One of the absolutely fundamental goals when we went to the elections was to discuss the matters of Poles, rather than shouting at each other, and there is no excuse, neither for a young person, nor an old one, middle-aged, or someone as serious as I am, to treat people in precisely this way - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
17:37
Tusk on the Deficit He Perceives:
A Lack of Understanding Among Poles About What Our Authentic, National Interest Is.
- I don't need to convince you that after these two years, difficult years, if there is any deficit, any lack that I perceive, one that touches me so sincerely, in a human way, the most, it is the lack of understanding among Poles about what our authentic, national interest is - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
- That for reasons I will mention shortly, we are unable to establish this list, a single, common list of the most important things, and at the top of this list is, of course, broadly understood security, to which if not everyone, then almost everyone could subscribe - he continued.
- And that in these matters concerning us, our families, children, grandchildren, loved ones, and the entire state, Poland, that in these matters emotions so often take over, become very radical - he went on to say.
15:08
Deputy Minister from Poland 2050 on the Recording with Sekielski:
You Won't See Anything More Disgusting Today.
- You won't see anything more disgusting today. I can't fathom how much hatred one must possess to engage in such acts... - wrote Michał Gramatyka on social media.
The Deputy Minister of Digitization and Member of Parliament for Poland 2050 is referring to a recording featuring Tomasz Sekielski and Roch Kowalski, in which the former mispronounces the name of the Marshal of the Sejm, calling him Szymon Kałownia.

Kaczyński on Konfederacja:
They Must Decide First.
- Please pay attention to Mr. Mentzen's statements, to the fact that Mr. Bosak also declares his readiness for an agreement and co-governance with PO, given the entire situation that has just been described here, meaning he is practically ready to join a political project whose ultimate effect will be the de facto liquidation of the Polish state - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.
- That is to say, not in the sense that a new partition of Poland will be announced, but we will have so few competencies and be so subject to the will of others, supposedly Brussels, but in reality, primarily Berlin, that it will be difficult to speak of the existence of the Polish state. So they must decide first. We will certainly not support the policy of social Darwinism - he continued.
14:21
Kaczyński on 'Gazeta Wyborcza':
If I read anything there, it’s obituaries.
- 'Gazeta Wyborcza' is not really a source of my knowledge about politics, the world, etc. If I read anything there, it’s obituaries, because I'm already getting on in years, unfortunately I often encounter people there whom I knew or at least knew a lot about. However, it's good news that even there these matters are now perceived and written about according to how they are. It’s just that 'Wyborcza', thank God Almighty, does not dictate policy today, as it did, perhaps, still a dozen or so years ago, and even more so 20 or 20-odd years ago - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.
14:15
Kaczyński on the Mejza Affair:
We Will Definitely Resolve This, But When We Come to Power, We Will Resolve These Other Issues Too.
- We will definitely resolve this [the Łukasz Mejza affair], but when we come to power, we will also resolve these other issues. Because what is truly happening in Poland in this area, including the complete impunity of people who have been caught red-handed, is beyond all comparison - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.
14:11
Kaczyński Announces Decisions Regarding Mejza:
A Lot of This Has Accumulated.
- A lot of this has accumulated. This is not a matter of my patience. Indeed, a lot of this has accumulated, and therefore this issue will be resolved in a way that will allow you to look at it all differently than you do now. However, one principle must be adhered to. That is, the principle that law, as well as judgments that are not legal in nature but are moral in nature, are also very important. Ethics is extremely important, it concerns everyone - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.
- The backdrop to this currently vehement attack on Mr. Mejza is everything that is happening in the judiciary, all these dismissals that seem completely obvious and the justifications for which are again more suited to cabarets than anywhere else. And in this context, it is truly the case that whoever, but representatives of those who support the current government, have no moral right to get so involved in Mr. Mejza's case. I advise them to get involved in Mr. Nowak's case, for example. That is a truly very serious matter - she continued.
13:51
Kaczyński:
It's hard to talk about violating the rule of law. The law has simply ceased to be binding.
- I have said it here many times, but I will repeat it, since this is the second anniversary, that today it is hard to talk about violating the rule of law. The law has simply ceased to be binding, and the current Minister of Justice, Mr. Żurek, is crossing all boundaries here. What is being done in this matter at the moment is simply unprecedented - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.
13:47
- There are indeed all premises to believe that precisely in order for this German plan to be implemented, because whatever else, the German agenda in Poland is indeed being implemented in an incredibly consistent manner. Let's take all these efforts aimed at enabling German companies to do various things, or the attack on Polish nuclear energy, or on CPK, or the attack on the Oder River - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.
13:42
Kaczyński on the Issue of Social Unemployment:
If it goes down this path, the problem that has plagued us will return.
- It's slowly starting to emerge. I don't want to exaggerate, there isn't a problem of social unemployment yet, but if it goes down this path, the problem that has plagued us, and not just once over these 30-odd years, will return. We are dealing with agriculture, which is simply disastrous, and it's not just a situation in agriculture, but in the Polish countryside, because the Polish countryside, of course, in its vast majority does not live from agriculture - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.
- But despite everything, agriculture remains the central issue of the Polish countryside, and a blow to it, which in fact creates a liquidation perspective for agriculture – I'm not saying it will come true, but it currently exists – this perspective truly suffocates the Polish countryside, including in a psychological sense, in collective consciousness - he continued.
13:36
- Two years have passed since the elections that led to the December 13 coalition taking power. This anniversary is being celebrated by our political opponents, and we are hearing various statements – and it's psychologically understandable, we even empathize – where different people are trying to prove that things are good, that there have been achievements. However, these achievements are overwhelmingly simply continuations of what we initiated, what we were indeed implementing, and which was later often changed, reduced, and adapted so that, for example, foreign companies would benefit – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.
- But generally speaking, it's simply a partial continuation, often with detrimental changes, very often with detrimental changes to our policies, and it would all be amusing if not for the atmosphere of constant aggression that accompanies it, which is characteristic of this formation that has destroyed Polish public life – he continued.
12:58
Coalition Announces Agreement on Civil Partnerships:
We are building what unites, not divides Poles
- What unites the October 15th Coalition is that we want to make people's lives easier. That's why we sat down at the table, each with their own proposal, and reached a good agreement - says Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in a recording published on social media.
- It took many countries years to reach a consensus on this matter. We are acting step by step, choosing everything that unites us, not what divides us. Latvia was last, now it's Poland's turn - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty.
- This will be a project of dignity, but also a project that guarantees security and legal protection for people in informal unions - emphasized Katarzyna Kotula.
- We will make life easier for people who run a household together, who want to be sure that the state sees and supports them - added Urszula Pasławska.
- In our coalition, we know how to combine different perspectives. We talk, we listen to each other, we build what unites, not what divides Poles - said Kosiniak-Kamysz.
Details are to be presented on Friday.

Tusk:
Nuclear Power Plant Construction Perfectly Embodies the Essence of the Change That Occurred on October 15th
- Today marks exactly two years since the elections. I didn't choose this location by chance, not to celebrate the anniversary with fanfare, as that's not the point. But to articulate the essence of the change that took place on October 15th, and the construction of the nuclear power plant here, in Pomerania, perfectly embodies the essence of this transformation in Poland - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a statement at the construction site of Poland's first nuclear power plant in Lubiatowo - Kopalino.
- Firstly, we are doing, not talking. For how many years have people been talking [...] the history of Polish nuclear energy spans decades. We can finally say: we will actually do it, rather than endlessly talking about it - he continued.
12:50
Tusk:
"Poland Under Construction" Now Means a Poland Opting for a Great Energy Leap
- This is also a lens through which to view what is happening in Poland today. Just as I once said "Poland Under Construction" when we were building the most ambitious, most modern network of highways and expressways in Poland, back when I was Prime Minister for the first time. Now, "Poland Under Construction" also signifies a Poland that is deciding on a great energy leap - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a statement at the construction site of Poland's first nuclear power plant in Lubiatowo - Kopalino.
- Here is the nuclear power plant, not far from here are large offshore wind farms, and this is accompanied by gigantic port development - he continued.
12:46
Tusk on the nuclear power plant:
There was no question of changing the location.
"There was quite a lot of controversy surrounding the location decisions. It's known that whenever such a large investment is undertaken, there are always voices for and against it," said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a statement at the construction site of Poland's first nuclear power plant in Lubiatowo - Kopalino.
"There was no question of changing this location, because we would lose another few years. And everything must be done [...] so that both the fact of the existence of the nuclear power plant and the entire process of its construction are not burdens, or exclusively burdens, for some residents, but also for entrepreneurs [...] but so that there are also evident benefits from it. And not only after construction, but also during the construction," he continued.
12:41
Tusk:
Electricity from Poland's First Nuclear Power Plant Could Power 12 Million Households
- The electricity generated by the nuclear power plant, Poland's first nuclear power plant, will be enough to power 12 million households. This shows the scale of this undertaking and its importance for Poland's energy security - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a statement at the construction site of Poland's first nuclear power plant in Lubiatowo - Kopalino.
12:34
Tusk at the Construction Site of Poland's First Nuclear Power Plant:
We Are in One of the Most Important Places for Poland's Future.
- We are in a symbolic place, one of the most important places for Poland's future. The construction, long announced and prepared for many months, of the first Polish nuclear power plant is now commencing - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a statement at the construction site of the first Polish nuclear power plant in Lubiatowo - Kopalino.
- We are slowly finishing this geological stage. We have finally agreed, we decided to reconcile these matters with our American and Canadian partners regarding the clauses of the agreement, certain financial details. I can say that it cost quite a bit of effort, of course, but at this moment, we can talk about fully partnership-based and very beneficial terms for both Poland and our foreign partners in this agreement - he continued.
12:17
Kierwiński:
This Government Didn't Build a Fence, Like Our Predecessors, But a Real Barrier
- The fact that this barrier is today 98% effective is also thanks to this government, because it invested in the safety of the people who work there. It didn't build a fence, like our predecessors, but a real barrier that serves soldiers and officers - Marcin Kierwiński said at a press conference.
12:06
Nawrocki:
As President of Poland, I intend to fulfill my promises
- As President of Poland, I intend to fulfill my promises. This is a concrete program of 21 postulates. I know how difficult this is, in the current, and perhaps also in the future political reality. We don't know this, but it seems to me that the declarations and programs made should be what obligates all public figures, and the RDS is a forum where these ideas can be analyzed, opined upon, and reviewed - stated President Karol Nawrocki during the RDS session.
12:05
The President at the RDS Session:
I Could List at Least 100 Specific Reasons Why Citizens Are Losing Faith That Their Vote Matters.
- Two years ago, Poles were promised a great deal. I could list at least 100 specific reasons why citizens are losing faith that their vote matters. And why am I specifically discussing this at the RDS? Because today, representatives of those who promised and representatives of those who were promised are meeting. So, as much as I believe, and after these two years, we will also be able to hold discussions that refer to the promises made - stated President Karol Nawrocki during the RDS session.
12:05
The President at the RDS session:
There is no trust when promises are made and then not fulfilled.
- There is no true dialogue without trust, it is difficult to build trust if you have different visions, different views, but that is what the RDS is for, to seek common solutions even among those who think differently. There is also no trust when promises are made and then not fulfilled. This is obvious, and I would like the RDS, when we reach a certain conclusion, to implement it with full conviction and full responsibility for our word. I have a deep conviction that public life needs this today - stated President Karol Nawrocki during the RDS session.
12:04
The President Cites CBOS Research:
Social Capital Has Been Devastated.
- Unfortunately, we are currently facing a dramatic decline in the trust of Polish citizens that they have an influence on state affairs. I will cite the latest CBOS data, which shows that compared to the survey conducted immediately after the 2023 elections, the percentage of Poles who believe they have an influence on the country's affairs has fallen by as much as 20 percentage points. In just the last 2 years, the percentage has dropped by 20 percentage points, to only 34% - stated President Karol Nawrocki during the RDS session.
- This shows a collapse in citizens' faith that they have an influence on the functioning of their own state, which is very concerning for me as President of Poland. Today, as the research shows, something very bad has happened in the last 2 years in terms of citizens' trust in the authorities. Social capital has not only been wasted, but it has been devastated, and we must also address this - the President of the Republic of Poland continued.
- Social dialogue is regressing; citizens are ceasing to feel and believe that they have an influence on their own state. We must consider, not today, because today's topic is different, but also this issue, analyze what has happened over the last 2 years, and how to change and stop this negative trend - he added.
11:50
Tomczyk:
We Have Launched the Largest Ever Modernization Plan for the Polish Army
- We have also launched the largest ever modernization plan for the Polish army. With the adoption of the National Defence Act, this budget has increased, but let's be clear. We are dealing with a leap in defense spending. Between 2022 and 2025, we can talk about a threefold increase in state defense expenditures, and this translates into the modernization of the Polish Army. In the last two years alone, we have signed the most important contracts, including for the construction of Krab howitzers, a contract worth nearly PLN 20 billion, the modernization of F-16s, the purchase of armament for FA-50 aircraft, and a framework agreement for Warmate loitering munitions - said Cezary Tomczyk at a press conference.
- A matter that is also of huge significance to us, to the entire state, is the enormous success of Donald Tusk's government, namely securing the SAFE program during our presidency, which amounts to EUR 43 billion for Poland, and Poland is the largest beneficiary of this program in Europe - continued the Deputy Minister of National Defence.
11:23
Another attack by Grabiec on coalition partners:
The more a grouping questioned the government's policy, which it helped create, the more it lost in the polls.
- I don't see such a process [of eating appetizers]. I don't see any hostile actions aimed at taking over someone else's electorate. Rather, I see a slow loss of electorate resulting from people feeling disappointed. You promised to form a government, and now you are undermining your own government. The more a grouping questioned the policy of the government it helped create, the more it lost in the polls, and it's probably time to draw conclusions from this and change that policy, and then voters will return - stated Jan Grabiec in an interview with journalists in the Sejm.
11:20
Grabiec Continues to Criticize Coalition Partners:
Those Who Most Questioned the Government’s Policy While Being in It Lost the Most.
- I would like to point out that indeed, Civic Coalition (KO) is the only formation, alongside Confederation, whose social support has grown over these two years. Our coalition partners have lost some of that support, but… it varies in different cases; those who most questioned the government’s policy while being in it have lost the most. I believe this should also be a lesson. We are halfway through, and it's time to draw conclusions, to appeal or return to the voters - stated Jan Grabiec in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.
11:19
Grabiec:
We want more development benefits to reach people. This will certainly happen in the coming months
- How to put it, we ourselves would like to have achieved more, but I think that what has been accomplished in the past 2 years is a solid foundation for Poland's development. This symbolic summary of these 2 years of work is our presence among the world's elite nations in terms of economic development, 20th place among world economies, and the concern of many former economic powers that Poles, in terms of wealth and economic development, are catching up with, for example, the British. These are not our opinions, but those of the British, that the Polish economy is developing excellently - stated Jan Grabiec in an interview with journalists in the Sejm.
- Of course, we want more of the effects of this development to reach people. This will certainly happen in the coming months. What we have done regarding pro-family policy, such as the "babciowe" (granny's allowance) or the construction of nurseries, for people in difficult situations, especially pensioners, i.e., the widow's pension, the highest-ever teacher pay rises of 30%, or many other benefits, for instance, for people with disabilities – these are things that will remain, which are a pillar of a better life here in Poland - he continued.
11:17
Grabiec Criticizes Coalition Partners Two Years Before Elections:
Part of Them Used a Bit of a Guerrilla Warfare Tactic.
- If there are any downsides regarding these 2 years, it is certainly the coalition relations, and I would even say more strongly, that part of our coalition partners employed a bit of a guerrilla warfare tactic concerning the coalition, attacking their own government. People cannot like this, and that's why it's clearly visible in some polls that even people who support the government's line, want the government formed after October 15th to rule for as long and as well as possible, they have reservations about the style of governance - stated Jan Grabiec in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.
- For example, the fact that even government ministers question the government's own decisions certainly cannot be liked, and we definitely need to change this - the Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery continued.
11:06
Hołownia:
There are things we didn't manage to do. We have two years left
- We have two years left, it's the halfway point of the term. In a year, it will be too late for such reflection. Today is just right. We have seen what we managed to achieve, and we have seen what resistance we face from the material left to us by our predecessors - stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.
- We have a president who is from the opposing political camp, which also does not make it easier to implement the reforms we agreed upon, but we must also look inward and clearly state - there are things that we did not manage to deliver, that we did not manage to do. We have two years to deliver them, or people will not trust us again in 2027. I am fully aware of this - he continued.
11:05
Kidawa-Błońska on the Coalition's Accomplishments:
A Great Deal Has Been Achieved.
- Considering the very difficult and dangerous times we are living in, a great deal has been achieved - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a press conference, when asked to summarize the coalition's two years, what it managed to "deliver" and what it did not.
- First and foremost, we are constantly talking about ensuring Poland's security [...] arms purchases, changing armaments, international cooperation regarding both Poland's security and Europe's security. This has been achieved, Poland is once again at the most important table for discussions about Europe, about security - she continued.
- We have managed to do a lot of what we promised for Polish families, so that families feel secure. All the support measures that were previously introduced have been maintained, and some have even been increased. "Babciowe" (grandparent benefit) has been introduced, which is much needed, nurseries for all children, the construction of nurseries has started at a great pace [...], teachers' salaries have been increased - she continued.
- This is happening every day, and I must say that when I look at how difficult these times are, these two years really show that this government, this coalition, is determined to ensure the best possible quality of life for Poles. If we look at the indicators, we are becoming the 20th largest economy in the world, we have the lowest inflation in Europe and the lowest unemployment, which indicates that the Polish economy is doing well - she added.
10:58
Hołownia:
For Poland's Interest and Coalition Stability, Our Nominee Should Be Deputy Prime Minister
- For the sake of Poland's interest and the stability of the coalition, the candidate we have nominated should be Deputy Prime Minister in Donald Tusk's government - stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.
10:57
Hołownia:
Deputy Prime Minister Not in Coalition Agreement, But Neither is Deputy PM for Sikorski
- I haven't seen the Prime Minister for about two weeks, but I hope we'll meet soon, as we have other matters to discuss. I'm not expecting any quarrels, pressure, or spectacular events here. I am stepping down as Marshal of the Sejm, Polska 2050 is gaining a Deputy Prime Minister and a Deputy Marshal of the Sejm - stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.
- The Deputy Marshal is stipulated in the coalition agreement. The Deputy Prime Minister is not stipulated in the coalition agreement, but neither is a Deputy Prime Minister for Minister Sikorski stipulated in the coalition agreement, and I myself was a strong proponent of him being Deputy Prime Minister due to Poland's interests - he continued.
10:54
Hołownia:
There is no blackmail
- I see no need or purpose in discussing matters that have long since been discussed, settled, and agreed upon by everyone. And I am also sick and tired of conversations and looking for conspiracies in discussions about positions, seats, about who will hold what function, and if not, what kind of blackmail. There is no blackmail, and people are truly not interested today in our seats, our discussions, or any personal rivalries; they are interested in whether the work will get done - stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.
- The issue of a Deputy Prime Minister for Poland 2050, after he ceases to be the Marshal of the Sejm, has been raised many times. It was raised for the last time with the entire coalition present at a meeting in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, when we discussed the government's reconstruction. No one objected; everyone considered it obvious, and therefore I also consider it obvious and that these are just formalities. The Prime Minister will of course find a convenient time - he continued.
10:48
- There will be no law on partnership unions, which was scheduled [for consideration by the Sejm]. This is at the request of Ms. Speaker Żukowska, who in a letter addressed to me asked for the proceedings on this bill to be postponed to the next session, due among other reasons to Minister Kotula's business trip - stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.
The bill is to be considered at the next session, at the beginning of November.
10:40
Hołownia:
Dialogue with the President is Necessary During the Legislative Process
- Absolutely, one must talk with the president. I have always held this position, in every respect, because he is the president. There will be no other in Poland for 5 years, and without the president, the legislative process cannot be completed, and many things in Poland cannot be done without the president. Whether we want to or not, he is the president. That is why I believe, and I have stated this publicly in recent days, I am glad that Ula [Pasławska] shares this view, that the PSL shares this view, that one must talk with the president - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.
- There will be laws where it will be necessary to clearly show that we do not agree with the president. On fundamental issues, on matters of values, where there will be no agreement, and then if a law is passed, and the president, confronted with it, decides to veto it, then it should be clearly shown that he is taking responsibility for that part of Poland that has not been repaired. However, here in the Sejm, 80% or 90% of the laws we pass are often technical, changing parameters of life, whether economic, public, or concerning this or that public service, and in this regard, it is necessary, at the stage of the legislative process, and I am of the same opinion, to talk with the president, not to wait for a veto in silence, because we will not deliver for the people - the Marshal of the Sejm continued.
10:30
- I like Donald Tusk very much, and I don't know what spectrum you want me to evaluate him on – age, handsomeness, politics. I believe he's doing his best, I believe he's really trying to hold this coalition together in the way that is possible under these difficult circumstances. Could more have been done? I think these are topics worth discussing privately - Szymon Hołownia said at a press conference.
10:21
Hołownia:
Without Us, There Would Be No Victory in These Elections, No Government
- Without us, there would be no victory in these elections, without us, there would be no government. Regardless of what you hear and what is being told again, because there is no shortage of grumbling Smurfs, at every turn of political life, it is thanks to the establishment of Poland 2050 that PiS was removed from power - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.
09:11
Żurek on Reckoning with the PiS Circle:
In Six Months, I'll Bring You a Ready List of Indictments.
- We currently have "Little Emi" convicted, definitively, in the hate-mongering affair, and we have a former Minister of Health convicted, but these are simple cases – Waldemar Żurek said on RMF FM, responding to the question: "The Civic Coalition promised that the previous administration, not entirely, but would be imprisoned. For now, one person was supposed to be imprisoned, but they left for Hungary, what's happening with that case?"
- All affair-related cases, if you were to see what the filing cabinets look like, they take a long time because we adhere to procedures. [...] Indictments reach the courts, but you see, people who are committed to the rule of law will not take shortcuts – he continued.
- I promise you that in six months, when I come back, I will bring you a ready list of indictments – he went on to say.
08:57
Żurek:
The President Doesn't Care About Order in the Courts, He's Employing a "The Worse for the Government, the Better for My Camp" Tactic
- I have no illusions that the president is playing politics. That is, he doesn't really care about order in the courts; in my opinion, he's employing a "the worse for the government, the better for the camp that supports me" tactic - said Waldemar Żurek on RMF FM.

Morawiecki Publishes a Spot with a Whispering Poland as Narrator:
I Deserve a Government That Respects Me, Not Ruins Me.
- Hi, it’s me, Poland. For two years, I’ve been ruled by incompetent people, led by the one who has already betrayed me and fled to Brussels. I am sad because every day they deceive my citizens. It started with a hundred specifics, and so it goes every day for two years. My big dreams of development? Of course, it's CPK and a nuclear power plant. But they are ruining everything - says the narrator, whispering Poland, in a new spot published by Mateusz Morawiecki.
- The economic situation is catastrophic, a huge deficit and constantly growing debt. Future generations will pay it off, investors are fleeing from me, the government is making a mockery of me. I want to be proud, but I feel humiliated. And dependent on Brussels dictates. The Migration Pact, the Mercosur agreement, I am afraid for my future, I deserve a government that respects me, not ruins me - she continues.
Tusk zdradził Polskę raz, kiedy uciekł do Brukseli.
— Mateusz Morawiecki (@MorawieckiM) October 15, 2025
Teraz zdradza nas ponownie:
a) gwałtowny wzrost zadłużenia, rekordowy deficyt;
b) ucieczka inwestorów;
c) rodziny płacą za to cenę.
Polska zasługuje na szacunek, a nie ruinę.

Błaszczak:
Bąkiewicz Has Merits for Poland
- Robert Bąkiewicz will be invited [to our political events]. He has merits for Poland. He had merits when churches were attacked by vulgar people [...]. It was Robert Bąkiewicz who stood at the forefront of citizens who defended churches. It was also Robert Bąkiewicz who stood at the head of the Border Defence Movement - said Mariusz Błaszczak in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.
08:49
Żurek on Planned Legislative Projects:
I'm Really Just Getting Started.
- There will be a few more legislative projects that we will present, the bill on the KRS, definitely, the bill on the return of judges from retirement, but there will also be reform bills aimed at accelerating proceedings, concerning computerization, for example, the issue of divorces in civil registry offices is in progress, and there will be further changes in family law - said Waldemar Żurek in RMF FM.
- I'm really just getting started - he continued.
08:45
Żurek:
The President Wants to Create a Presidential System Without Amending the Constitution. This Cannot Be Done
- I kindly ask [to present your proposals], I encourage you to the table and we will discuss. I am open to anything that is good. However, when I hear on the day of the inauguration that the president says: I will decide who in Poland violates the Constitution, who can be a judge, as if he did not see that there is a separation of powers, the National Council of the Judiciary - said Waldemar Żurek on RMF FM.
- The president wants to create a presidential system without changing the Constitution. This cannot be done - he continued.
08:45
Błaszczak:
I Guarantee PiS Parliamentary Club Will Support Abolishing Mileage Allowances
- I think so, that it also makes no sense. [...] I guarantee you that the PiS parliamentary club will support such an abolition [of mileage allowances] - said Mariusz Błaszczak in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.
08:45
- Konfederacja, for several elections now, they've been upsetting the apple cart, unfortunately never taking responsibility, and this must be stated clearly. In difficult times, war, COVID, etc., it's often the case that they present, perhaps attractively from a journalistic or social perspective, prescriptions or solutions, but they've never taken responsibility. Governing and politics involve responsibility, so whether Konfederacja will face such responsibility, we will see if its leaders do. Let's also remember that Konfederacja comprises various environments, for example, Mr. Mentzen's environment, but also the environment of Marshal Bosak and a few other smaller ones - said Zbigniew Bogucki in "Morning" on Radio Wnet.
08:45
- The reality is that these elections, the way senators are elected, make the situation easier for those who form larger blocs. That is, if we have direct elections, someone who gets 40% or 35% with several candidates simply becomes a senator, and then a certain joining of forces provides an opportunity to more efficiently run for and win mandates in the Polish Senate. So, it's an idea that can be considered. Whether it will materialize is hard to say - said Zbigniew Bogucki on Radio Wnet's "Morning" program.
08:44
Bogucki:
This Government is a Government of Missed Opportunities
- Very often, under the exercise of power, through the exercise of power by this government, we are not participating in the most important processes. We are constantly in the second carriage, sometimes we are left on the platform of these processes. This train is departing – for Polish entrepreneurs, Polish companies, Polish scientists, the Polish defense industry, Polish opportunities. This government is a government of missed opportunities – said Zbigniew Bogucki on the “Morning” program of Radio Wnet.
08:43
- A new constitution is a serious challenge that the President has set for us, but it is also a very serious challenge for the political class, for experts, lawyers, both legal theorists and practitioners. That's why this team is being built to include various circles, to take into account different points of view, in order to write a constitution that will have a chance of being adopted - said Zbigniew Bogucki in "Poranek" on Radio Wnet.
- Today, it may seem impossible to many, but if the first step is not taken, the long, important journey that a new constitution represents will never be completed. This plan is mapped out until 2030. It is very important that in 2030, when Poles elect a president again, they know what powers he will have, whether they will be broader or narrower than those of the current president - Zbigniew Bogucki continued.
08:41
Błaszczak:
Parliamentary Immunity Should Be Abolished. It Makes No Sense
- I think [parliamentary] immunity should simply be abolished. Because it makes no sense, absolutely no sense. [...] Immunity is mechanically waived when it comes to opposition MPs, while those in power hide behind this immunity - said Mariusz Błaszczak on "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.
08:38
Żurek:
I Presented a Comprehensive Bill to Alleviate the Chaos
- I said years ago that there would be chaos. And while everyone else thought things would somehow sort themselves out, I said: no, there will be chaos. And we are now at the epicenter, but I presented a bill, I actually drafted it after two months in office, and it is comprehensive and it is meant to alleviate this chaos - Waldemar Żurek said on RMF FM.
- If the President does not sign it, he will have to face his voters and show what he proposes. We are saying this: we have rulings from European courts and our legitimate Supreme Court. You created this chaos, meaning those who support the President today are responsible for this chaos - he continued.
08:31
Żurek:
We Will Show Changes to the Prosecutor's Office Regulations in the Coming Months
- The bill on the division of the prosecutor's office is already underway, the commission is working very intensely on amending the act on the prosecutor's office, but I would very much like to focus on the regulations of the prosecutor's office - said Waldemar Żurek in the "Morning Conversation" on RMF FM.
- I have received grassroots information from many prosecutors, so-called frontline prosecutors, they show me what needs to be changed, so there is already a team working on it, and I think that in the coming months we will present changes to the prosecutor's office regulations - he continued.
- I would like to do it this year, it's just that you can't do everything at once - he went on to say.
08:30
- 10 points. 10 points that were put forward by President Jarosław Kaczyński. 10 points that would form the foundation of an agreement - Mariusz Błaszczak stated on PR1's 'Sygnały dnia' (Signals of the Day), when asked about PiS's current stance on the proposal for a senate pact with the Confederation.
- One must communicate around a common message, not around something unknown. If something is built without a foundation, that structure will not stand - he continued.
08:23
Hennig-Kloska on Running for Head of Poland 2050:
I Don’t Rule Out Such a Situation.
- I don’t rule out such a situation [that she will run for the position of head of Poland 2050], but today the most important thing is to find, which is not easy, someone after Szymon Hołownia who will unite the party somewhat and be able to gain the broadest possible support from our members - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP Info.
08:20
- We started with a proposal of 10 points around which we wanted to build an agreement. Because that's how we've always approached Polish matters. A minimum that would constitute an agreement. And the first point out of these 10 was the rejection of a coalition with Donald Tusk. Sławomir Mentzen did not agree to this point - said Mariusz Błaszczak in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.
- An agreement must be built on specifics, and therefore this was a specific. These were 10 points, the first of which spoke of rejecting a coalition with Donald Tusk. Sławomir Mentzen doesn't want to reject a coalition with Donald Tusk - he emphasized.
08:19
Hennig-Kloska on Czarzasty:
I Encourage the Marshal to Talk to the MPs and Persuade Them.
- I encourage the Marshal [Włodzimierz Czarzasty] to also talk to the MPs and persuade them. It's best when a candidate builds their own support - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP Info.
- I will support it, I am urging my colleagues to support the fulfillment of this point of the coalition agreement. This is important, and I believe we will not quarrel over any positions - she continued.
08:14
Tusk Releases Video on Second Anniversary of October 15th Elections:
People Simply Live Better. We Do, We Don't Talk.
"I returned to Poland after years. A lot has changed. The trains are faster. The economy too. Salaries are rising, and people simply live better. For my children, I receive 800+ and 1500 Grandma's Bonus" - says the narrator in a video released by Prime Minister Donald Tusk on X.
"Yes, this is a good place to live. I feel safe here. I returned to build the largest wind farm in this part of Europe. We can afford great things. Because we Poles do, we don't talk" - he continues.

Błaszczak:
Confederation's Program is Very Liberal, It's Social Darwinism
- Please note that the Confederation presents a very liberal program, which - perhaps its slogans, not the program itself - could be described as social Darwinism. For example, they advocate for the privatization of healthcare, they speak out against the 13th and 14th pensions - said Mariusz Błaszczak in „Sygnały dnia” on PR1.
- When we were in power, we tried to raise the standard of living in our country, to eliminate or reduce the spheres of poverty that existed in Poland governed by the liberals from the PO-PSL coalition before 2015. So there is a huge difference here - he pointed out.
08:04
- The Sejm forms the government, not the Senate, so the elections to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland are the most important - stated Mariusz Błaszczak on "Sygnały dnia" PR1, when asked about a possible senate pact between PiS and Confederation, which Sławomir Mentzen was reportedly discussing with President Karol Nawrocki.
08:01
Hennig-Kloska:
Our Voters Most Disapprove of Coalition Disputes
- I agree with you, yes, people, our voters most disapprove of coalition disputes, externally, and that also needs to be fixed. I say that our slogan of Polska 2050, of Trzecia Droga, from 2023, is still very relevant today - enough arguing, forward - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP Info.
07:58
Hennig-Kloska on the 'Improvement of the Rule of Law':
These are certainly areas where we need to accelerate.
- Of course, the government must prepare appropriate changes and reforms. On the other hand, improving the rule of law are certainly areas where we need to accelerate our work and develop solutions. We now have a good law, and soon the terms of office of the members of the neoKRS will end. This is a good moment to bring some order to this area in multiple ways, and Minister Żurek's law is heading in precisely that direction - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP Info.
07:55
Hennig-Kloska:
A Great Deal Has Been Achieved on Economic Matters
- A great deal has been achieved on economic matters. We have halted inflation, the disposable income in our wallets is growing, and what does that mean – with each subsequent salary, we can buy more, and the economy has rebounded, among other things, thanks to the launch of the KPO [National Recovery Plan], and a focus on energy investments. This economy is beginning to develop, to rebound. Thanks to new revenue streams, we need to reduce the budget deficit, but on the other hand, people also expect changes in other areas, and that is what we need to focus on - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP Info.
07:54
Hennig-Kloska Asked About the Hopes of Disappointed Voters:
To Draw Lessons for the Second Half of the Term.
- This is certainly [the hopes of disappointed voters] to draw lessons from for the second half of the term, but we have come through very difficult times, we have emerged from the era of high inflation, and disposable income in our wallets is also slowly starting to grow. Either they don't feel it yet, because this type of statistics is usually visible faster. This is undoubtedly important, but improving the situation in healthcare and restoring the rule of law is also important - said Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP Info.
07:51
Błaszczak on When the PiS Congress Will Take Place:
This is Where the Outline of Our Program Will Be Created.
- Of course, we will be seeking support. The programmatic congress of PiS will be held already in the last weekend of October. This is where the outline of our program will be created, a program that we will then discuss at meetings, traveling around Poland, talking with Poles - Mariusz Błaszczak said on "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.
- We, PiS, stand out on the political scene because we have always presented a program. This time too, we will present this program and I hope that it will be supported by Poles - stated the head of the PiS parliamentary club.
07:44
Błaszczak:
I Agree with Poles' Assessment – and Their Assessment of Tusk's Government is Negative
- I agree with the assessment of Poles, and the assessment of Poles of Donald Tusk's government is negative. This is a measure of how the ministers in this 'coalition of December 13th' cabinet are governing. Let's look at the public finance crisis, for instance, the record-high deficit in public finances. One-third of state budget revenue comes from loans and borrowings – stated Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Karol Surówka on "Sygnały dnia" PR1.
07:00
