07:34

Kierwiński on False Alarms:

There Will Be More Arrests.

- This operation is ongoing; currently, 3 people have been detained. One person is already in custody, an arrest warrant is being sought for a second, and the third person has just been arrested. There will be more arrests, there will be more searches - stated Marcin Kierwiński during "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

07:41

Kierwiński on Identifying the Perpetrator of the False Alarm Regarding the President's Mother:

High Probability.

- Based on this group, I can also say with high probability that the person behind this false alarm, concerning the president's mother, will be identified. We are working on this very intensively because we are taking this matter very seriously from the very first hours these false alarms appeared. Only these matters require silence - stated Marcin Kierwiński on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" (Piasecki's Interview).

07:50

Kierwiński on Romanowski:

We Are Close.

- The services know where Minister Ziobro is. As for Minister Romanowski, or rather Marcin R., the search is ongoing - stated Marcin Kierwiński in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- I am not authorized to disclose this type of information. However, I know that we are close. Everything indicates [that he is in Europe] - he continued.

07:54

Kierwiński:

Apparently, Dialogue with Krakow Residents Was Lacking. The Mayor Bears at Least Part of the Responsibility.

"Apparently, dialogue with Krakow residents was lacking, and of course, the mayor [Aleksander Miszalski] bears responsibility, or at least part of the responsibility for that," stated Marcin Kierwiński on TVN24's "Piasecki's Conversation."

07:56

Kierwiński on the elections in Krakow:

There are several interesting candidacies.

- We have several potential proposals. It will be a decision of Prime Minister Tusk, of the national board, but I think there are several interesting candidacies - stated Marcin Kierwiński in “Rozmowa Piaseckiego” on TVN24.

07:58

Kierwiński on the Civic Coalition Candidate in Krakow:

We Will Make This Decision Quickly.

- For now, such decisions require a moment of reflection and consideration, as well as internal discussion. We will make this decision quickly [regarding the candidate in Krakow]. A very interesting candidacy [Bogdan Klich]. Also an interesting candidacy [Paweł Kowal], also an interesting candidacy [Andrzej Domański], all excellent candidates, gentlemen [he lists] - stated Marcin Kierwiński in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

08:00

Kierwiński on the Kraków elections:

It would be a good idea if we looked for a common candidate who would cement the coalition at the national level.

- I think we will try to do everything possible to make it a matter for the broadest possible bloc of coalition partners within the October 15 coalition. I don't know how it will end, but I think it would be a good idea if we looked for a common candidate [in Kraków] who would show and also cement the coalition at the national level - stated Marcin Kierwiński in "Piasecki's Conversation" on TVN24.

08:31

Kapiński:

I Absolutely Don't Feel Like the President's Terrible Mistake

- I absolutely don't feel that way. I believe that my judicial career to date, my judicial biography, my conduct so far, including the last three years leading the work of the Criminal Chamber [...] despite this situation, these divisions, the fact that we have 7 vacancies in the Criminal Chamber, the chamber under my leadership worked very effectively - said Zbigniew Kapiński in an interview with Renata Grochal on 'Bez uników' on Trójka, when asked if he felt like the president's 'terrible mistake'.

08:35

Kapiński on Two Deputy Ministers of Justice:

They Seem to Be in Some Kind of Internal Exile, Disregarding the Legal Order.

- I believe that Mr. Minister Mazur and the second of the mentioned ministers are probably in some kind of internal exile, that's my impression, when speaking such words, because it means that the gentlemen do not respect the current legal order - said Zbigniew Kapiński on Radio Three, when asked about the words of Deputy Ministers of Justice Dariusz Mazur and Sławomir Pałka directed at him.

- I believe that the Ministry of Justice should actually focus on these problems, which are real. We have 1000 vacant positions, we have huge backlogs, and I don't hear of any program - he continued.

08:42

Kapiński:

There Are No Grounds, Not Even the Smallest, to Verify Judges

- These drafts, they are contrary to the Constitution, contrary to European law, and they open a proverbial Pandora's box - said Zbigniew Kapiński on Trójka, when asked about draft laws such as the so-called rule of law act, which is intended to regulate the status of neo-judges.

- These are drafts, according to which they want to carry out a verification of judges [...]. Never in history, including after '90, when we had judges who ruled during Martial Law, during the communist period, where the Supreme Court issued opinions, made rulings, where judges committed judicial crimes, as the Supreme Court wrote, and a verification of judges was never decided upon - he continued.

- I believe there are no grounds, not even the smallest, to verify judges - he added.

08:47

Kapiński on How He Intends to Act as First President of the Supreme Court:

End to Divisions, End to Questioning Institutions.

- Certainly, as First President, I will act in a way that ensures all state bodies function properly and efficiently. That divisions end, that questioning of institutions in the state ends - said Zbigniew Kapiński on Radio Three.

- So that we end the dispute that has resulted in division into neo, paleo, because for me these are pejorative terms that do not serve the judiciary and have no legal basis - he continued.

08:47

Tusk Before Departure to Great Britain:

Poland Must Build Credible Alliances That Will Deter Potential Aggressors.

- History teaches us, and geography reminds us in a particularly painful way, that Poland must build credible alliances that will, above all, deter potential aggressors. Alliances from which practical actions will stem before any potential conflict, so as to avoid direct threat, and this is the nature of the treaty between Poland and Great Britain - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Warsaw.

- The Polish side was very keen for this new treaty to meet two requirements - first, to elevate Polish-British relations to the maximum, highest possible level that diplomacy and international politics allow, and second, to focus on defense and security. That is why this treaty sets the framework for military cooperation, in the defense industry, and regarding cybersecurity - he continued.

08:51

Kapiński:

I will be independent of any political power, just as I have been until now

"I will be independent of any political power, just as I have been until now," Zbigniew Kapiński said on Trójka.

"My path is typically judicial. [...] I am not on 'first name terms' with any politician. I haven't even seen Minister Ziobro in person, I've had no contact with him, nor with President Jarosław Kaczyński," he continued.

"Once, because he is also a hunter and a judge of the Main Hunting Court, and we had an opportunity to meet once when he was appointed to the Main Hunting Court, but that was, I don't know, a few years ago and that's all," he added, when asked about Waldemar Żurek.

08:52

Tusk on the Provisions of the Treaty with Great Britain:

Russia is a Strategic and Long-Term Threat.

- We are signing the treaty with Great Britain with full awareness, both sides emphasize that they are aware that Russia is a strategic, long-term threat to Poland, Great Britain, and NATO. Therefore, our cooperation, British-Polish, but also within the NATO framework, should, in the spirit of this treaty, be focused on securing Poland and other states against the Russian threat - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Warsaw.

08:57

Tusk:

The US will reduce its presence in Europe one way or another. This is no surprise.

- I know that such speculations will immediately appear. This is not a replacement for, or alongside, NATO. Poland and Great Britain are taking these announcements very seriously and we are acknowledging them, we must acknowledge them in a prepared manner, that the US will reduce its presence in Europe one way or another. This is no surprise; it's only those who closed their eyes and pretended not to see what's happening in the world who tried to obscure this reality - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Warsaw.

09:02

Tusk on False Alarms:

There Will Be More Arrests.

- There will be more arrests. I received this information from Minister Kierwiński. And everything indicates that we are dealing with well-organized groups of very young people who, either for fame or for some personal satisfaction, not for ideological or party reasons, have committed such acts in the past, we already know this, and also in relation to the places I mentioned. The police are also on the trail and soon this will also concern the perpetrators of the latest incident, which was a false report of a fire in the apartment of President Nawrocki's family - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press conference in Warsaw.

09:12

Tusk to initiators of false alarms:

You'll go to jail if you do such things.

- I am addressing everyone who has such an idea in mind. Do not do it, you are harming the Polish state, you are harming potential victims of real events, and most importantly, take this truly to heart: you will go to jail if you do such things - Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated at a press briefing in Warsaw.

09:36

Czarzasty on the Bill Regarding the Status of a Closest Person:

Our Intention is for the Bill to Go to the Senate at This Sejm Session.

- We have the committee's report on the government's bill on the status of a closest person, and our intention is for it to have its third reading, meaning for the bill to go to the Senate at this Sejm session - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference.

09:48

Czarzasty on the IPN President Election Matter:

Postponed to the Next Session.

- At the request of Mr. Speaker Zgorzelski, the elections related to the election of the President of the Institute of National Remembrance have been postponed to the next session - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference.

09:51

Czarzasty:

I Ordered an Audit of Ziobro and Romanowski's Offices

- A lot of questions are also arising regarding Member of Parliament Zbigniew Ziobro's place of employment and whether, if he is employed somewhere, for example at TV Republika, it affects him being deprived of his salary in the Polish parliament - Włodzimierz Czarzasty said at a press conference.

- Failure by a Member of Parliament to submit a true declaration to the Sejm Presidium regarding taking up employment, to which he was obligated, can be treated as a deliberate action aimed at achieving financial gain through misrepresentation - he continued.

- To this day, Member of Parliament Zbigniew Ziobro has not submitted any declaration on this matter. Today, I ordered an audit of the offices of Member of Parliament Ziobro, including expenditures in those offices, and the office of Member of Parliament Romanowski - he went on to say.

10:01

Sejm Marshal Ordered Package Returned to Sender. Czarzasty on the Matter of the WSI Report Request

- The issue of the request and the handover of the annex to the WSI report. Madam Marshal Kidawa-Błońska, Małgorzata, as you know, sent back this package to the president a week ago, without opening it - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference.

- The Marshal of the Sejm ordered the mentioned package from April 23, 2026, to be returned to the sender - he continued.

- This was done by a letter to Mr. Minister Bogucki, signed by Mr. Minister Siwiec, because Mr. Bogucki recommended that we read the Constitution, and in the letters he sent us, there is information, there is a trace that Mr. Bogucki does not know the Constitution, therefore Mr. Siwiec allowed himself this nice gift - he went on to say.

- "Considering how much importance you attach to the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, I am pleased to send you a unique copy of the Constitution [...] with the conviction that it will serve you well." All this happened on May 25. At this stage, and ultimately at every stage, I consider this matter to be definitively closed - he added.

10:14

Czarzasty:

Revealing Agents' Names is Irresponsible Towards Our Allies. The President is Making a Huge Mistake

- It is irresponsible to reveal the names, albeit in an anonymized form, but in a specific context, of Polish agents at a time when there is a war in Ukraine, when the world is unstable - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference.

- It is simply irresponsible towards our allies, it erodes the trust of our allies and makes them ask themselves: if we cooperate with you today and give you our names and information today, will you not make this public in two days' time - he continued.

- It's a Kinder Surprise, because we didn't open it at all, the annex, it was sent to the Sejm and sent back, this is playing with Poland's interests and playing with Poland's raison d'état. In my opinion, the president is making a huge mistake in this matter. Whether he makes a decision and what decision he makes after the stance of the Marshal of the Senate and the Marshal of the Sejm, we will see. The law accounts for such things - he further stated.

10:55

'This is Just the Beginning of the Power Change Process in Poland.' Błaszczak on the Krakow Referendum

- Last Sunday in Krakow, we saw the symbolic beginning of the end for KO. Miszalski, Krakow's Tusk, was recalled due to arrogance and poor governance of the city. This is just the beginning of the power change process in Poland. Poles see chaos, high prices, the collapse of healthcare, and your arrogance, which manifests in the belief that you can do anything. Soon, Poles will say 'enough,' just as Krakow said enough to its Tusk, and they will say enough to Donald Tusk too. Soon - stated Mariusz Błaszczak in the Sejm.

11:08

Kierwiński on the Candidate in Krakow:

Likely a Perspective of the Next Few Days.

- Decisions regarding the candidate in Krakow will be made quickly. That is, quickly. I think it’s likely a perspective of the next few days – stated Marcin Kierwiński in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

11:25

Szefernaker:

The President Will Not Agree to Civil Partnerships

- The President will support actions aimed at facilitating the daily lives of Poles who wish to formalize their relationships with a loved one through an agreement, which will simplify their everyday functioning - said Paweł Szefernaker at a press briefing.

- Such actions, as the President stated during his campaign, will be supported by the President, but there is no question of legalizing unions such as those currently being introduced, or attempted to be introduced, by the parliamentary majority, the governing majority - he continued.

- There is no agreement for civil partnerships, there is a desire to make life easier for Poles, there is a willingness to discuss and support solutions concerning a loved one, but the solutions currently in parliament are, in fact, the legalization of civil partnerships, which the President will not agree to - he went on to say.

11:35

Szefernaker:

We want to help people, but not create laws that allow for partnerships with marriage privileges but without obligations

- The philosophy behind the creation of these acts stems from the desire to legalize partnership unions, where privileges previously reserved for marriage [...] are also inscribed as privileges for partnership unions - said Paweł Szefernaker at a press briefing.

- We are presenting the philosophy of functioning of the closest person institution. These are two different philosophies, and we want to help people in their daily lives, but not create laws that would allow for the de facto creation of unions that have the same privileges as marriages [...] but without obligations, because then [...] there would be no need for marriage in Poland. Then there will be no need for marriage. What will distinguish marriage from a partnership union? - he continued.

- If there are only privileges and no obligations that currently stem from marriage, then there is no need for the institution of marriage; this is de facto the liquidation of the institution of marriage - he continued.

11:56

Kaczyński on Nawrocki's decision regarding the First President of the Supreme Court:

I have no complaints about him.

- The President is the decision-maker here, I have no complaints about him choosing as he sees fit, although I thought differently and still do. Oh, I spoke with the President a long time ago. There is no dispute on the [PiS-Presidential] line, but the President is, let's say, very distanced, that's how I would describe it. Of course, that is his right, we have no complaints. What he does that is good for Poland is incomparably more important at the moment than these kinds of minor matters - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

11:58

Kaczyński on the addendum to the WSI liquidation report:

My late brother's decision was right, but times have changed.

- I had the opportunity, albeit in a terrible rush, to read it [the addendum to the WSI liquidation report], because I was prime minister at the time, and in my opinion, the decision of my late brother, because he was the one who decided it would not be published, was right, but times have changed, we'll see - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

11:59

Kaczyński asked about the Krakow elections:

There are several candidates.

- There are several candidates [being considered for nomination in Krakow]. We need to decide - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

13:51

Tusk and Starmer Sign Treaty:

We want to protect ourselves, but also the broader community. We are doing this within NATO.

"We have written clearly, very unequivocally, what we are about. Firstly, what we want to defend. We want to defend a secure Great Britain, Northern Ireland, we want to defend a secure Poland, our territories, our borders" - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a statement related to the signing of a treaty between Poland and Great Britain.

"Secondly, we want to protect cyberspace. Modern technologies mean that today no one feels safe, and cooperation in this area is essential" - he continued.

"Thirdly, we have told each other that we want to protect ourselves, but also the broader community. We are doing this within NATO, in order to strengthen NATO, we want to be more practical, faster in response when the need arises; this is what the treaty is for" - he went on to say.

"The political essence of this treaty is to strengthen European solidarity, solidarity within NATO, and European-American solidarity, transatlantic ties" - he stated.

"We have said very clearly in the treaty, and for this I am also grateful, that we also want to protect our common values. You and I are convinced of these values. Someone somewhere in the world sometimes says that they are already boring or outdated, but for us they remain important, and for our nations too" - he emphasized.

"The rule of law, democracy, human rights, this sense of solidarity with people, the desire to act for their security and well-being - all of this is the foundation of this treaty" - he mentioned.

"Thank you again. Our military and technological cooperation, as I said, in cyberspace, concerning security in a broad dimension [...] all of this gives hope that this unique, historic document in this unique, historic place, under the patronage of our pilots from Squadron 303, will truly make our future safer" - he concluded.

15:08

Kotula on the Draft Law on the Status of a Next of Kin:

Although it's not the law of my dreams or the Left's, we believe it's necessary.

- And although, as I said, it's not the law of my dreams or the dreams of the Left, we believe it is necessary. Because if two people live together and take responsibility for each other, care for each other in illness, jointly repay loans, and plan for the future, then the state has no moral or constitutional right to pretend that this relationship doesn't exist - stated Katarzyna Kotula in the Sejm.

15:12

PiS Submits Motion to Reject Bill on Next of Kin Status:

An Attack on the Foundations of Our State.

- There is nothing to discuss. Therefore, on behalf of PiS, I am submitting two motions to reject these projects [the bill on the status of the next of kin along with its implementing provisions] - stated Katarzyna Kotula in the Sejm.

- This is an attack on the foundations of our state, an attack on the Polish family, an attack on the institution of marriage, on our society, on our traditions - she continued.

15:13

Konfederacja Demands Cienkowska's Dismissal:

The Culmination of an Entire Compromising Ministerial Career.

- Konfederacja is initiating the collection of parliamentary signatures for a motion of no confidence against Minister of Culture Marta Cienkowska - wrote Krzysztof Bosak on social media.

- The draft on subsidies for artists' contributions is a compromising culmination of Minister Cienkowska's entire compromising ministerial career - emphasized the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm.

15:27

Żukowska on the Bill Regarding the Status of a Next of Kin:

It Protects Families.

- This is a law that protects families. Because such families exist in Poland, same-sex families, and the law is meant to recognize social needs, social phenomena, not pretend they don't exist - stated Anna-Maria Żukowska in the Sejm.

17:50

Nawrocki After Meeting with the President of Switzerland:

Our Relations Are at a Very Good Level.

- Relations between Poland and Switzerland [...] are traditionally friendly and are based on regular dialogue in the political, economic, cultural, and social spheres, which today's visit also attests to. Our relations, the relations between Poland and Switzerland, are at a very high and good level - said President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference after meeting with the President of Switzerland.

17:56

Nawrocki on the Polish-British treaty:

It would be good to inform the President before signing commitments.

- Regarding the signing of the Polish-British agreement, until yesterday, as President of Poland, I obtained information on this matter solely from public opinion. However, thanks to the great courtesy and professionalism of one of the deputy ministers, we received information yesterday about the signing of the Polish-British cooperation document - said President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference after a meeting with the President of Switzerland, when asked whether he would ratify the treaty with Great Britain signed by Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

- I won't say what I will do with it, of course, because I need to familiarize myself with these matters. But I think it would be good to inform the Presidential Chancellery and the President that such solutions are being prepared before signing commitments on behalf of the Polish nation - he continued.

- I will certainly delve into it and do everything that is good for Poland's security and for cooperation with our allies - he added.

17:59

Nawrocki Responds to Cenckiewicz's Comments:

The President's Role is to Make Decisions, Not Engage in Journalistic Debates.

"The President of the Republic of Poland's role is to make the best decisions for Poland, not to engage in commentary or journalistic debates," said President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference following a meeting with the President of Switzerland, when asked if he was surprised by Sławomir Cenckiewicz's comment regarding the appointment of Judge Kapiński as the First President of the Supreme Court.

18:02

Nawrocki on Kapiński's Appointment as First President of the Supreme Court:

The Best Decision I Would Make Again.

"I personally made such a decision, considering all candidacies for the President of the Supreme Court, delving deeply, as it was an important decision, into the biographies of all candidates, and making the best decision that I would make again." - said President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference after a meeting with the President of Switzerland, continuing his answer to the question of whether he was surprised by Sławomir Cenckiewicz's comment regarding the appointment of Judge Kapiński as First President of the Supreme Court.

"It is not the president's task to focus on journalistic commentary, regardless of its origin." - he emphasized.

18:07

Nawrocki:

Permanent US Military Presence in Poland Would Be a Success We Are Constantly Working Towards

- Regarding American soldiers, we know that we have nearly 10,000 American soldiers in Poland, and Poland's strategic goal is for this presence to be permanent. I have been working on this since the first day of my presidency – said President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference following a meeting with the President of Switzerland.

- As early as September 3rd, President Donald Trump defined Polish-American relations, and nothing has changed in this regard. During our subsequent meetings and discussions, the last time we spoke was on May 3rd, so relatively recently, President Donald Trump confirmed these alliance guarantees. Indeed, the permanent presence of American troops in Poland would be another success, which we are constantly working towards – he continued.

18:11

Nawrocki on Polish-US Relations and Efforts for Permanent Troop Presence:

I Count on the Polish Government's Sobriety.

- Regarding statistics, hard statistics, which the journalist is asking about, we need to allow ourselves a bit more time. There is still a lot of work ahead, not only for the National Security Bureau and the President's Chancellery, but I am also counting on the thoughtfulness and a certain sobriety of the Polish government – said President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference following a meeting with the President of Switzerland, when asked how many American soldiers we can ultimately expect in Poland.

- We are heading towards truly good Polish-American relations; if they find reflection in a permanent presence, it will be a great success for Poland – he continued.

18:19

Nawrocki:

I Care for Relations with the US President and So Far Have Never Been Disappointed

- As we see, President Donald Trump is a partner [...] who fulfills the words he spoke concerning us, the Republic of Poland, the Polish state, the Polish president - said President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference after a meeting with the President of Switzerland.

- I would like to remind you that it is at the invitation of President Trump that we will be in the G20 group; I would like to remind you that thanks to President Trump's commitment and our direct conversation, Andrzej Poczobut regained his freedom; we see that President Donald Trump strives for a high presence of American soldiers in Poland - he continued.

- I care for relations with the President of the United States, and so far I have never been disappointed - he emphasized.
