– I don't think we should respond to this kind of provocation from candidates who are in serious polling trouble and who yesterday struggled to present their vision for Poland. Our main rival, Rafał Trzaskowski, barely survived that debate. After just 2 hours, journalists and commentators were remarking that he was in serious physical condition – stated Adam Bielan on "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1.

– I don't know what this stems from, whether he didn't get enough sleep, as journalists friendly with him, like Tomasz Lis, advised him – because that was the main advice to Trzaskowski – or if he has some other kind of problems, because we see his very significant mood swings. I suggest he is in serious physical condition, and at the same time, he can be very often over-excited – he continued.

– The majority of Poles, and I'm referring here to a poll for Super Express, want to know the health status of candidates. I believe that especially in the second round, candidates who reach this stage should present such research – stated Adam Bielan on "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1.

– We must fight for our election promises. This is one of the most important election promises [personal assistance]. Many promises introduced are costly, but this one will pay off, because if there's one thing we can do for people with disabilities, it's to help them integrate into the labor market. To integrate them into building the economy, because they will bring their returns – stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska in the program ,,Rozmowa Piaseckiego” on TVN24.

– If we don't hold the coalition accountable for this promise, the voters will hold us accountable, because for people with disabilities whom I meet all over Poland, this is the most important promise – she added.

– The truth is that we will fight to the very end for the Marshal’s best result, and he will also campaign for it. We have already had a situation in Romania where a candidate who had 5% won the first round of elections; it happened. It is true that this candidate is far from my values, but such a poll situation existed – said Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVN24.

– Undoubtedly, if Szymon Hołownia does not make it to the second round, I will vote for and support the candidate from the ruling camp, because we need a president who will cooperate with the government. – This needs to be discussed, because let us remember that in today's courts, under the rule of the December 13 coalition, Neumann's doctrine dominates, and they will likely draw a judge in this case to draw a judge from Iustitia – Mariusz Błaszczak said on Radio Zet, when asked if there would be a lawsuit filed by Karol Nawrocki against Szymon Hołownia in connection with his words during a debate: "Karol Nawrocki is a liar, he lied in a notarial deed that he paid 120,000 for the purchase of an apartment that was not his [...]. – If [Karol Nawrocki] has nothing to hide, he should really seize this last chance. Because the election procedure is a way to quickly resolve the matter – said Jacek Cichocki on TOK FM’s Poranek.

– Today, we expect a resolution to the matter of the lies by PiS MPs, who accused the Marshal of not declaring his homestead in Podlasie. The hearing will be today around 11:00 AM, and I hope the court will confirm that the Marshal acted correctly and declared the truth, because that is what is in his statements – he continued.

– Karol Nawrocki has the opportunity to use the same chance. Because the matter of the studio apartment is fundamental. It’s a question of whether someone tells the truth or lies – and we are talking about a presidential candidate who still realistically has a chance of becoming president – he pointed out.

– The decision has already been made that it will be handed over, however, we have several applications, we are thoroughly analyzing which of these foundations will receive the apartment – said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Radio Zet, when asked if it was known which foundation the studio apartment would be transferred to.

– We are analyzing the situation regarding the foundations, because we also live in the conditions we live in – he continued.

– We are under scrutiny, those who rule Poland today can do various things and get away with it – he went on to say, when asked if they had to vet the foundations.

– I think so […] of course, yes – he added, when pressed whether the decision would be made before the first round and made public.

– I believe that Confederation voters will vote for Karol Nawrocki – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Zet.

– Not entirely, because I have encountered such opinions from voters, presumably of the Confederation, at meetings [...] of Sławomir Mentzen's voters in the first round, who said it was a mistake on Mentzen's part. That it was a mistake that Mentzen thus engaged in Trzaskowski's campaign – he continued, when asked about Mentzen's accusation towards Nawrocki that he is a fraud, and about Mentzen being an authority for his voters.

Individually large sums, but they are very spread out over time. Because for this project, for this assistance, to start functioning, a system needs to be built, launched, and rolled out over years. […] It's, as far as I remember, about a billion zlotys to start with – he continued.

As he indicated: – It is the Prime Minister's decision that this project should proceed. And I think the Prime Minister will agree to Szymon Hołownia's appeal. That would be the most sensible course of action [declaration before the first round]. After such a call from Szymon Hołownia, will the Prime Minister say "I won't give, I won't help"?

– We are facing presidential elections that will decide, frankly speaking, whether we celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Bolesław the Brave's coronation, or if Poland will exist in the perspective of the next thousand years, or if it will be diluted somewhere… – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Zet.

– Repolonization, the word might not sound the most attractive and has been criticized somewhat, but it has seriously begun – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.

– We have, in practice, implemented what I committed our subordinate institutions to, and as co-owners, we have the right to do so, SSP [State Treasury legal entities], regarding repolonization, meaning actions that will give Polish companies much greater chances in tenders and will place Polish contractors and suppliers in a much better position than before – he continued.

– The second word that doesn't sound attractive, but hides great things behind it, is "deregulation." We have spoken loudly about the need for this law, and finally, we have it, and this is the law that introduces the presumption of taxpayer innocence – Prime Minister Donald Tusk said during a government session.

– Until now, when there was a dispute between the tax office and the taxpayer regarding facts, unfortunately, the taxpayer had to prove they were right about the facts. If they were unable to prove it, they faced a penalty. After the adoption of this law, it will be the reverse. This means the taxpayer will not penalize the tax office, but the tax office, if there is a difference of opinion regarding facts, will have to prove the taxpayer's guilt before any penalty falls upon the taxpayer – he continued.

– We will be present in Rome at this conference [on the reconstruction of Ukraine]. We have made efforts, and I don't want to make any predictions, but I believe we have serious chances that – and this takes place once a year – the next conference, which will gather thousands of investors, will be held in Poland next year. – Yesterday, during the debate, I took a strong stance on this issue [the Personal Assistant Act]. I said that this is our make or break in the coalition formed on October 15th. I reiterate this declaration. Not to blackmail or threaten anyone, because I am absolutely convinced that this coalition is based on values, not on positions. However, if it is based on values and they are its binding agent, then it must implement those values. Otherwise, it has no reason to exist – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in Białystok.

– We are in this coalition not for positions, but for values. […] If we are not realizing values, and only positions remain, then there is no point in giving this coalition a majority, no point in being in it, no point in co-creating it. […] This matter cannot wait any longer – he stated.

– This matter [of the Personal Assistant Act] can no longer wait, and I will be – as I also declared today to the protest participants – a very strong advocate for speeding things up in this regard. I hope, certainly after the elections, after the first round, to also discuss this with the Prime Minister and to emphasize once again: we must have this act in the Sejm before the August recess, so that it can be passed shortly after the holidays, and thus we can include it in the budget for the following year – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in Białystok.

– Over a year ago, I commissioned the Supreme Audit Office (NIK) [...] to conduct the first comprehensive, systemic audit of financial flows between the state and the Catholic Church. I am pleased to inform you that President Banaś today submitted the results of this audit to the Sejm. They are currently being analyzed, and on Thursday morning, I will invite you to the Sejm for a presentation of the audit's findings – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in Białystok.

In his opinion: – We will finally have the beginning of a serious discussion about the separation of Church and state. We will see how money flows from the state to the Church and to Church institutions.

– From what my colleagues tell me, NIK and President Banaś took this challenge very seriously. […] I am absolutely convinced that this will be a milestone in all these discussions that we have been having in Poland for 20 or 30 years – he assessed.

"PiS has lost its virtue and earned no rubles today. First, Nawrocki withdraws the lawsuit against me, thus not disputing that he lied about the apartments, and a moment later, after the electoral proceedings, Sasin and Łukaszewicz must remove the lies about me from their social media," wrote Szymon Hołownia on the X portal.

Jacek Sasin, who was addressed, responded to the post by the Third Way candidate. "Do you really think so? Perhaps your lawyers haven't informed you what they signed on your behalf?" wrote the PiS MP.

Earlier, Hołownia clarified at a press conference in Białystok that a settlement had been reached: "I believe this is a satisfactory solution. The gentlemen disseminated untruths in the public sphere. They will delete the posts containing these untruths. The settlement also states that all their doubts concerning the financial statements I submitted have been clarified. [...] The lesson is that perhaps in the future it's better to ask and check, rather than immediately stirring up trouble to cover for Nawrocki."

– I have repeatedly said that marijuana is bad, it's easy to get addicted to it, easy to turn your brain into a sponge. Unfortunately, I have acquaintances from years ago who overdid it with marijuana and ended up really badly; I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Personally, I believe that smoking marijuana is harmful, just like cigarettes – stated Sławomir Mentzen during a Q&A session in Warsaw.

– However, I wouldn't want young people to end up in prison for smoking weed. I think there are worse things than smoking weed. If someone smokes, at most they'll get hungry and a bit lazy; nothing terrible happens from it. I believe there are much worse substances than marijuana – he continued.

– There were two pages, one with 100 laws, probably written with numbers, the other with letters, I don't remember now which is which. For the 2019 campaign, there was a person from the vicinity of Toruń who organized my campaign for me, and he, among other things, created that website. – It seems to me that Polish authorities should not feel bound by Donald Tusk's declaration, and I would very much wish for us to have the opportunity to enforce reparations from Germany, while I absolutely do not believe the current government will do anything in this matter – stated Sławomir Mentzen during a Q&A session in Warsaw.

– I consider this matter absolutely fundamental and critical to the interests of the Polish state, meaning our entanglement now in a war with Russia, causing bombs to fall on our cities, is one of the most important things to avoid, and I fear this may unfortunately happen – said Sławomir Mentzen during a Q&A session in Warsaw.

– We have statements from Donald Tusk, who says we are living in pre-war times; he also frightens Poles. We have statements from the former head of the National Security Bureau that we might have a war within the next three years. – At the beginning of this year, he said he would demand the withdrawal of 800+ [benefit] from unemployed Ukrainians in Poland, because it's common sense, it should be done. A good few months have passed, Tusk also said it was a good idea, and they did absolutely nothing about it – he added.

– But I will tell you that when I learned yesterday about cases that need to be looked into again, I clearly said, yes, I will look into these matters again, into the decisions made by my officials – he continued.

– That is why it is so important, even today, in these difficult times, to talk about social support for artists, and I am very pleased that this act is currently under consultation. This is our civic commitment, and I wanted to say here in Krakow that we will fulfill it – he continued.

– This is what these presidential elections are about, about whether the President of the Republic will unite, or whether they will be able to rise above this clamor and be a true arbiter of Polish disputes. – Whenever politics and party affiliations start to rule in cities, and inconvenient people who have worked for many years for the development of that city are thrown out of the town hall, when party politics begins to win in local government, then we, the citizens of the Polish state, both in Zabrze and throughout Poland, can loudly say 'no'. – Today, a signal is sent from Zabrze to all of Poland that a bad government, which does not focus on public finances and indebts all of us as citizens, is also a symbol for Zabrze. 400 million less suddenly in the city budget, 300 billion less projected in the Polish budget under Donald Tusk’s government – Karol Nawrocki said in Zabrze.

– If it passes Parliament, which it won't, because this Parliament won't enact it, I will vote against the 12-week bill. However, if I were president and such a law were adopted by the nation… If there were a law that said: abortion up to the 12th week without restrictions, I would vote against it, because I have serious doubts on this matter. On the other hand, if I were president and such a law were adopted by the nation in a referendum as a solution, then bound by the oath I took to the Constitution, I would sign such a law – stated Szymon Hołownia in TVN24's "Fakty po faktach" (Facts After Facts).

– This is something very dangerous, meaning we have long suspected Donald Tusk's government of discussing the deployment of Polish soldiers to Ukraine. The French press has reported on this, the Ukrainians have spoken about it. Poland, for now officially, publicly, denies this and says it will not send these soldiers, but we must remember that we have an election campaign – stated Sławomir Mentzen on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

– Now we have another source of this kind of information. After all, a few days ago Donald Tusk went to Kyiv as part of the so-called “coalition of the willing”. The question is, willing to do what? Perhaps to send [Polish] soldiers to Ukraine? – he continued.

– I haven't changed my mind; I still believe that these [13th and 14th pension benefits] shouldn't exist. I think such things shouldn't be. However, as president, I see no possibility of doing anything about it. – Retirees can rest assured, because such a bill will never land on my desk. I don't believe there will be a majority in the Sejm for it, so there is no such topic at all – he added.
