21:09

Tusk:

Trzaskowski Has Confirmed He is the Leader of Democratic, Self-Governing Poland

- We have gone through four very difficult months, and today we have the most important news of the day. Rafał Trzaskowski has confirmed that he is the leader of democratic, self-governing Poland, achieving a brilliant result - stated Donald Tusk during the election night.

21:13

Kaczyński:

Our Ninth Victory. The News of My Death is Premature

- This is our ninth victory, which should primarily serve as an encouragement for us to work, because it turns out that those who wanted to bury us already, as Mark Twain once said, the news of my death is somewhat premature. This result shows that in parliamentary elections today, we might perhaps achieve significantly more, we might perhaps even gain power. But the elections are still over 3 years away, so we must first win the European elections, that's point one, and then prepare and win the presidential elections, and finally, there will be the parliamentary ones - stated Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS election night.

21:16

Kaczyński on forming a "great coalition that will win"
This is our task, it is a party task, but above all it is a task for Poland. Poland cannot go down the path that Donald Tusk is currently pushing it towards. This is unacceptable for our future, it is unacceptable for our present, and therefore today's success should be treated as an encouragement for very decisive, energetic action, for the expansion of our party, and also for the creation of a great coalition that will win. Because Poland must be a country ruled by Polish patriots, honest people – stated Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS election night.

21:18

Kaczyński:

They said we'd only have one voivodeship. Well, God willing, we'll have many, many more

- They said we'd only have one voivodeship. Well, God willing, we'll have many, many more. Thank you very much - stated Jarosław Kaczyński during the PiS election night.

21:18

Tusk:

October 15th Was Repeated in April. I Am Proud of Us, All Polish Women and Men
Today, on behalf of democratic Poland, free Poland, Polish women and men who believe in their strength, I can solemnly announce that October 15th was repeated in April. Today, I am truly very proud of all of us, all Polish women and men. October 15th was repeated in April. Perhaps some thought it would be easier, that we managed to reclaim more provinces, that in cities, PiS, our main opponent, suffered a spectacular defeat. This does not change the fact that today we see that this path will not be easy, also in the future. Nothing will be easy in the world, in Europe, and in Poland. And therefore, with such satisfaction, I can say today that on this difficult path, we have many leaders, many female leaders. Today, I do not want to take up your time; everyone has their job. Today is the time for local government heroes, today is the time for Rafał and his colleagues from Polish local government – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at the KO election night gathering.

21:26

Hołownia:

I'll Bet Our Result Will Grow, Not Fall, After Votes Are Counted
- We already know the preliminary results of the exit poll conducted across Poland. The history of October 15 teaches us that from now on, things will only get better. I am convinced, and I'll bet any of you, that this result we see now will grow, not fall, after the votes are counted - said Szymon Hołownia during the Third Way's election night.

- Why will this be the case? Because these elections are about names, not party brands. And the strength of the Third Way has always been its names - he continued.

21:28

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Those who recently called for showing the Third Way a red card did not play fair

- We did not receive a similar opinion from all sides of the coalition. Those who, even in recent days, called for showing the Third Way a red card, did not play fair. It's not about us being offended. But, as I see it, they themselves did not achieve the intended effect. Perhaps this signal is necessary for some to appreciate loyalty and cooperation - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the Third Way's election night.

21:33

Hołownia:

Voter Turnout and Election Results Are a Serious Warning for Our Coalition
- We cannot treat the voter turnout we saw here, or what the National Election Commission (PKW) reported, nor the entire atmosphere we are observing today, looking at the results of individual groupings within the October 15th Coalition, as well as PiS, as anything other than a warning. The first, serious warning for our coalition. And this is the warning we have heard, and we in the Third Way want to say that we accept it with humility - said Szymon Hołownia during the Third Way's election night. - "Enough of the bickering" – people told us today. If you continue to bicker, if you initiate disputes within our coalition, if you lead to us standing against each other, fighting amongst ourselves, then people will not go to the polls, then people will not trust us, then people will turn away from us - he continued. - We, the Third Way, will be advocates for this simple slogan: enough of the bickering, forward. And I hope that everyone agrees with this slogan - he added.

21:34

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

It's Not Worldview Issues That Are Paramount, But the Economy and Security

- There are people who want to vote for our program. And it's not worldview issues that are paramount, but the economy and security are paramount - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the Third Way's election night.

21:34

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

No Deviation from Lower Health Contribution for Entrepreneurs, From Contribution Holidays

- This result gives us even more strength to implement our program. There is no deviation from the lower health contribution for entrepreneurs, from contribution holidays, from focusing on the economy and security. These are our priorities and we will implement them – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the Third Way election night.

21:35

Trzaskowski:

We Ask You to Continue Supporting Tusk's Government and All Who Won the October 15th Elections

- We said from the very beginning that it wouldn't be simple at all, that great mobilization would be needed, that turnout would really speak volumes, and once again, this great mobilization happened. This mobilization will be needed every day, because this isn't just about elections; it's about the fact that Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the entire government face a devilishly difficult task, as do all those who co-create this government – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at the KO election night.

- Poland has rarely been in such a difficult situation, and that is why, dear friends, we need your support, your determination. We need you to be patient on the one hand, but on the other, to support us so that we can continue to move forward and ensure Poland is safe, that Poland becomes increasingly modern. That we utilize all the opportunities before us. Therefore, we ask you to continue supporting Donald Tusk's government, to continue supporting all those who won the elections on October 15th, and to support all your local government officials – he continued.

21:44

Tusk:

Pleasant Weather Apparently Demobilized Some Voters

- I'm already used to the fact that we need to build larger entities, and the fact that the October 15th coalition has 52% today, and PiS has 33%, is a great commitment. Voter turnout was lower, the weather, we pray for nice weather every time spring arrives, but it apparently did demobilize some voters a bit, because if I understand correctly, it's just over 50%. So all the more I absorb this information that we've reclaimed some voivodeships, that generally we are still moving forward - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in an interview with TVN24.

21:46

Tusk:

We Will Continue to Mobilize People to Change Poland

- I realize that this will continue to be a very difficult road and without full support from the people, sometimes, and I warned about this, it's not that everything is already settled, and that everyone's support is needed. We will continue to mobilize people to change Poland - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24.

21:49

Tusk:

Preliminary data clearly show eastern regions and rural Poland were more mobilized; we still have a lot of work to do there

- Clearly, based on these preliminary data, eastern regions and rural Poland were much more mobilized, and we still have a lot of work to do there. That's the truth. But it's also worth comparing, because local government elections are a bit different, there are many other entities, there are the Non-Partisan Local Government Officials, this time it wasn't a significant force, but always those 2-3%, so when I look at this result and compare it with the local government elections from 5 years ago, and at the end, you know, I like to talk to people seriously, if we had 8 voivodeships after the last local government elections, and now we have 10, in my opinion there will be more, it means it's another step forward - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk on TVN24.

21:51

Czarzasty:

These Were the Toughest Elections for the Left; Local Elections Have Always Been the Toughest for the Left
- These were the toughest elections for the Left, local elections have always been the toughest for the Left. This time they turned out to be so as well. Are we satisfied with 6.8 [percent]? No. Could this change a bit tomorrow? Possibly. Because 5.5 years ago, I remember, in this club, it was 5.3, and in the morning it was 6.8. Well, these are difficult elections, but one thing is for sure: I want to very sincerely thank everyone for participating in the elections, I want to congratulate other committees on their election results, I want to thank all those who voted for us. I bow to you very sincerely, on behalf of all four parties and on behalf of our entire team – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at the Left's election night.
