Monday's Political Agenda: National Security Council Meeting, Further Hearings in Visa Scandal Inquiry

At 9:00 AM, a meeting of the National Security Council, convened by President Andrzej Duda, will take place at the Presidential Palace.

We are hearing that today Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign team will conduct actions aimed at increasing supporter engagement in the campaign. The entire week of the Warsaw Mayor's re-election campaign is set to revolve around the theme of security.

At 10:00 AM, the parliamentary inquiry committee investigating the visa scandal will hear testimony from Jakub Osajda, Director of the Legal Office and Compliance Management at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs until September 15, 2023, and subsequently from Maria Wiktoria Raczyńska, an assistant in the Political Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, seconded to serve as an assistant to Deputy Minister Piotr Wawrzyk from April 2021 to 2023.

Mastalerek:

Pope Francis Has Been Wrong Since the Beginning of the War, He Doesn't Understand Our Part of Europe

- No [Ukraine should not sit down for negotiations with Russia]. Only when Ukraine wants to. It was Ukraine that was attacked. [Pope Francis] is wrong, he has been wrong since the beginning of the war. Because he doesn't understand our part of Europe, he has a perspective from South America. There, it's often a pro-Russian, one might say, bite - stated Marcin Mastalerek in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet.

08:07

Mastalerek Announces Presidential Address

The President has concrete ideas that he will present in Washington. He will speak about them today, in an hour, at 9 AM, and the President will also deliver a formal address in the evening, at 8 PM, on television stations. Security should be excluded from political disputes. This is the President's message – stated Marcin Mastalerek on Radio Zet.

08:15

Mastalerek:

The Only Agreement the President Has Made Was with the Prime Minister, and He Will Discuss Ambassadors with the Prime Minister

- I hope the agreement is still in effect. On the part of the president, it is binding. The only agreement the president has made was with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and he will discuss ambassadors with the prime minister. At that time, during the meeting in the Sejm, the president agreed that the ambassador to the EU would be replaced, and the president explicitly stated that he expects that where there are presidential posts, such as the USA, the UN, or NATO, the president will nominate the ambassador, and that still holds true - stated Marcin Mastalerek on Radio Zet.

08:16

Mastalerek:

Presidents Won't Agree to Recall Ambassadors Who Have Remaining Terms

- However, of course, I am reading articles where, it seems to me, some people in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, perhaps those who wish to become ambassadors themselves, are trying to create a fait accompli by spinning articles that a sudden exchange of ambassadors will occur. This is not the case. In Poland, to appoint an ambassador, the consent of both the government and the parliamentary majority, as well as the president, is required. And now, if there are ambassadors who have their terms, the president will not agree to their recall, unless the government presents some very disturbing information regarding why and for what reasons they should be recalled - stated Marcin Mastalerek on Radio Zet.

08:19

Mastalerek:

President Told Tusk Washington is a Presidential Outpost. No Change for Magierowski

- The President told Donald Tusk that Washington is treated as a presidential outpost. Firstly, Marek Magierowski is a very good ambassador and should stay, but if it were even mentioned, the President would have his own candidate. As of today, Marek Magierowski is a very good ambassador and there is no question of a change at all. The President will not agree to that – stated Marcin Mastalerek on Radio Zet.

- Bogdan Klich, I will remind you, was the Minister of National Defence when two air disasters occurred, and there is no reason why he should replace a good ambassador – he continued.

08:22

Mastalerek:

This is the Only Way This Coalition Could Collapse

- Of course not [the coalition won't collapse over abortion]. This coalition is held together by power and hatred for PiS. However, before this coalition was formed, it was said, and it was obvious, that nothing unites this coalition, that it will quarrel, that it will be a coalition with differing views and approaches on many issues. Nevertheless, it will undoubtedly last 4 years because it is united by power. Unless, and this is the only chance for this coalition not to survive, Donald Tusk decides to achieve such a good election result that he can get rid of his coalition partners. This is the only possibility for this coalition to collapse. They will not quarrel over abortion, or anything else, because what truly matters to them is power - stated Marcin Mastalerek on Radio Zet.

08:28

Mastalerek:

The President Repeatedly Stated He Doesn't See Himself as a Party Leader and Won't Be Politically Involved After His Presidency

- This is nonsense [that there's a plan to take over PiS]. Many are trying to exploit the president's popularity; he is the most popular in this center-right bloc. They are trying to exploit him by involving him in some party games. The president has repeatedly stated that he doesn't see himself as a party leader and won't be politically involved after his presidency – stated Marcin Mastalerek on Radio Zet.

08:32

Mastalerek:

Without President Duda's Support, PiS's Presidential Candidate Will Face an Uphill Battle

- One thing is certain. Such a candidate [for PiS president] would have to seek the support of President Duda, who is the most popular, and without President Duda's support, PiS's presidential candidate will have a difficult time. That's what I think, but it's just my humble opinion - stated Marcin Mastalerek on Radio Zet.

08:50

Bielan:

Tusk's Western European Focus in Foreign Relations Could Be Dangerous for Security

- Tusk is focusing on Western Europe in international relations, and this could be dangerous in terms of security, because the United States is the greatest guarantor of security, not only for Poland but for the entire European continent - stated Adam Bielan on the Polsat News program "Graffiti".

08:51

Bielan:

I hope the PO government won't make the same mistakes as in 2007-2015

- This is an issue that, I hope, unites us. I hope that the PO government will not make the same mistakes it made between 2007 and 2015. I am referring here to the infamous reset policy with Russia, blocking agreements with the Americans regarding the anti-missile shield in Poland, and a certain ineffectiveness in encouraging the Americans to station troops on our territory. It was our government and the President who finally persuaded Donald Trump - stated Adam Bielan in the program 'Graffiti' on Polsat News.

08:52

Kołodziejczak:

We Must Work Hard to Ensure Farmers Have Genuine, Reliable Representation

- I haven't heard all farmers saying that [about the monologue with the government]. I heard a voice today in a morning conversation on one radio from the chairman of Solidarność, Mr. Obrzański. Mr. Obrzański didn't even speak once at that meeting, as far as I remember [...] I truly believe it will be good for both sides, and also for the farmers' side, if this is a good outcome that such a conversation isn't visible. Because we really need to work very hard to ensure that the farmers' side has genuine, reliable, representative leadership. My heart is entirely with Polish farmers – stated Michał Kołodziejczak on the program 'Sygnały dnia' on PR1.

08:52

Kołodziejczak:

Farmers' Legitimate Actions Are Being Exploited by Politicians
If the wife of the Solidarity chairman ran on the PiS lists for the Sejm, then here we also see a clear involvement, for example, of Mr. Obrzański's family in political activities. We also see that many people, many MPs, or senators associated with Solidarity, hold relevant positions. The legitimate actions of farmers are being exploited by politicians, but I also see that many of those who are organizing protests today are on the lists for regional assemblies, in elections for regional assemblies, or for district councils, municipalities, and for mayors [from PiS lists] – said Michał Kołodziejczak in PR1.

08:53

Kołodziejczak:

Tusk treated farmers fairly, promised specifics
Prime Minister Donald Tusk treated farmers fairly. We, as farmers, have grown accustomed to listening to fairy tales and stories, fantasies, and hearing nice words. For the first time, farmers are being treated seriously when the Prime Minister comes out and says, 'I could tell you that this will definitely happen, but I have 95%, 99% certainty that it will be this way [the EU will move away from some provisions of the Green Deal]' – stated Michał Kołodziejczak on PR1.

08:54

Kołodziejczak:

Solidarity Chairman is Merely Following PiS Orders

- The Chairman of Solidarity today is solely and exclusively carrying out the orders of the PiS party. This fellow has gotten himself into a loop and will have a big problem, because first of all, I see it, as I am constantly within the community. He doesn't have social support among farmers, he personally lacks the capacity for strikes, but he has a strong urge to be in the media, on television – said Michał Kołodziejczak on PR1.

08:57

Bielan:

We Realize These Elections May Be Tougher Due to Lower Public Support Than Five Years Ago

- We realize that these elections may be tougher because we have lower public support than five years ago, but that doesn't mean we don't have a chance to win. The party will fight for every mandate in every electoral district. I will not say that we have no chance of a majority on the western front, because that would demobilize our voters and, above all, our candidates. At this stage, we must strongly rally for the fight and hard work - stated Adam Bielan on the Polsat News program "Graffiti".

- We have a series of very different analyses. Certainly, after elections, when power changes, voters always grant the new government a certain credit of trust, and the ruling party always grows at the beginning - he added.

09:03

Bielan:

'The Green Deal Party' is the European People's Party, Tusk's and Jarubas's Party

- The Green Deal Party is the European People's Party, meaning the party of Mr. Tusk and Mr. Jarubas; it is the party to which PO and PSL belong. Even greener are the socialists or Ms. Róża Thun, who represents them - stated Adam Bielan on the program „Graffiti” Polsat News.

09:14

Duda:

The Entire Polish Political Scene Gathers to Show Unity on National Security

- Today, I am so happy that we are symbolically here together, the entire Polish political scene, it can be boldly said, is meeting to show that on matters of our country's security, we are united. I thank you enormously for this, I hope that this demonstration of our joint and unified action and our shared, unified stance is reaching the world and also showing where Poland stands today, and that Poland is today governed, in the broadest sense of the word, in an extremely responsible manner, primarily taking into account what is most important for the people living here who elect us - stated President Andrzej Duda during a session of the National Security Council.

09:17

Duda:

No One Will Dare Attack a Strong NATO, Strong States

- This is happening, it is a fact today that we are strengthening our army, we are spending a lot for this purpose, but we have one great conviction. If one says: we are strengthening security and no one will dare to attack NATO, then one thing must be added here, which must be done. No one will dare to attack a strong NATO, strong states, states that will be able to defend themselves efficiently, will be ready and will stand up to defend their borders, their land immediately. Poland is becoming such a state today - stated President Andrzej Duda during a meeting of the National Security Council.

09:26

Duda:

Security Without the USA is Unfortunately Very Fragile
One of the fundamental priorities of the Polish Presidency of the EU in the first half of 2025 will be precisely the strengthening of Euro-Atlantic ties in every respect, including economically. More USA in the EU, more EU in the USA. This is because the USA is, and the last two centuries, and in particular the 20th century, have shown it to be, the foundation of European security, and this security without the USA is unfortunately very fragile – stated President Andrzej Duda during a meeting of the National Security Council.

11:33

Osajda:

My Name Should Not Have Appeared in the Media at All in Connection with the Visa Scandal; It Was Misinformation of the Public

- Although I am a legal advisor by profession, I appeared here today with a proxy due to ongoing court proceedings against the former leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, related to my sudden and unexpected dismissal from my position and the termination of my civil service employment contract, without any reason being given – stated Jakub Osajda, former director of the Legal and Compliance Management Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, before the visa committee.

- Esteemed committee, my name should not have appeared in the media at all in connection with the visa scandal, and any association of myself with the actions of Mr. Piotr Wawrzyk in this matter is unjustified and harmful. Based on the information I have today, the attempt to media-link my name to this case, as the reason for Piotr Wawrzyk's troubles, was an element of a peculiar smokescreen and public misinformation – he continued.

11:41

Kolarski on the So-Called 'Morning-After' Pill Without a Prescription: I Expect a Veto. Decision in the Coming Days

- I can state unequivocally that the President was negatively disposed towards the project adopted by the Sejm, which allowed for the use of the so-called 'morning-after' pill without a prescription. This bill went to the Senate, nothing has changed in this matter, meaning a 15-year-old can, without any adult or doctor's supervision, risking their health, use the pill according to these regulations – stated Wojciech Kolarski in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

- It is not my role to announce the President's decision, which will likely be made in the coming days. However, I expect that the President will not sign this bill, that he will simply veto it. That is what I expect, and I think public opinion will not be surprised by this, knowing the President's views – he continued.

11:53

Sawicki on Abortion Bills: Even If They Don't End Up in the Sejm's Bin, They'll Land in the President's
I cannot quote [her remarks], I am somewhat astonished and disgusted by what Ms. Anna Maria [Żukowska] wrote to the Marshal [Hołownia]. It seems to me that Ms. Anna Maria's approach to conducting the local government campaign here is excessive. After all, they knew perfectly well what the Third Way's view on abortion matters is; we have no discipline here, and in reality, neither Hołownia nor Kosiniak knows today how many votes they can count on in one matter or another. It's each of our individual decisions, so I don't understand this irritation. However, I am also a bit surprised by Marshal Hołownia, because if carps are in a hurry for Christmas Eve, they shouldn't be hindered. And if they wanted to work on these laws quickly, they should have been compelled to improve their bills, because they delayed with this for two months and debated at the first possible session when these bills appeared in the Sejm. Will they go to committee? I don't know, but this debate will certainly not bypass us. Therefore, it must be conducted and the matter closed – stated Marek Sawicki in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus. Even if they [the abortion bills] don't land in the Sejm's bin, they will land in the president's bin. The effect will be the same regardless – he added.

12:24

Tusk:

I Disagree Politically with President Duda on Almost Everything, but We Must and Will Act Together for Our Homeland's Security
I disagree politically with President Andrzej Duda on almost everything, but we must and will act together for the security of our Homeland. Not just during the visit to the USA - Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote on Twitter.

14:13

Czarzasty on Hołownia: We cooperate well. We have a responsibility for Poland, and no differences will divide us

- I want to clearly state in this tearful market, tearful because PiS still governs Podkarpacie, that there will be a decision on whether the currently governing coalition or PiS will govern Podkarpacie. This decision will be based on one or two mandates. I will tell you more, it will be one or two mandates for Lewica. Therefore, I appeal to all residents of Podkarpacie: vote for Lewica. This is the mandate that can tip the scales, and I believe it will – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in Rzeszów.

- My belief stems from the fact that there is good cooperation at the government level, with all four forces. It's not by accident that I will start with Szymon Hołownia, then Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Prime Minister Donald Tusk. We cooperate well, we have different opinions on various matters, but we know one thing. We have responsibility for the country, we have responsibility for Poland, and no differences will divide us to the extent that this coalition is threatened – he continued.

14:15

Czarzasty:

Poland's Security Is Beyond Discussion, Regardless of Party Affiliation
I want to say that the security of our country is not up for discussion. Regardless of whether someone is from PiS, or from the democratic opposition, and now from this democratic force that is governing, the matter of security should never divide Poles. Security is above party politics, security is paramount – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in Rzeszów.

14:18

Olko:

These Elections Are Also About Women; It's in Women's Interest for the Left to Be in Local Government
These elections are also about women. I know that you girls might feel a bit discouraged at the moment as you observe what's happening. How Marshal Hołownia is postponing the proceedings of abortion bills, but I want to convince you that going to these elections, ensuring that the Left finds its place in local government, is your concern and in your interest - stated Dorota Olko at a press conference in Rzeszów.

18:35

Biedroń:

I understand the emotions surrounding the abortion issue, but offensive language unfit for parliamentarians is not my aesthetic
- I would not sign [Anna Maria Żukowska's tweet to Szymon Hołownia], but the same words, although not publicly, are probably spoken by many of us. This is the emotion that the street is living with today and millions of Polish women who feel deceived by the Marshal of the Sejm, who promised that we would be unequivocal on these matters, that he would not look for a third way in this matter, because one can be for or against abortion – said Robert Biedroń in an interview with Grzegorz Sroczyński on RMF FM's "Popołudniowa rozmowa" (Afternoon Talk). - I understand the emotions surrounding this, but language that is offensive, that is not fitting for parliamentarians, is certainly not my aesthetic – he added.

18:44

Biedroń:

Hołownia and Kosiniak Will Appear as Cowards for Not Breaking Coalition Over Health Contribution
- In this matter, they [Szymon Hołownia and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz] will appear as cowards, because of course they won't break this coalition if there's no agreement on the [health] contribution; these are purely and solely such announcements - said Robert Biedroń in the "Afternoon Conversation" on RMF FM.

18:49

Biedroń:

Elections are a good moment to show the Third Way a red card. Let's stop saving those who don't want to save women.
- There are elections on April 7th and I think it's a good moment for us to show everyone what we think about the Third Way's politics - to simply show them a red card. Let's stop saving those who don't want to save women - said Robert Biedroń in the 'Afternoon Conversation' on RMF FM. - Many of our acquaintances voted for the Third Way solely because they were afraid they wouldn't cross the threshold. And they did quite well thanks to those votes. Today, there's no need to save them anymore, so let's save women and save the cause. Let's vote for those who are for women's right to abortion - he continued.

18:55

Rosa:

We Promised You Women in Poland Would Feel Safe, and We Are Fulfilling That Promise

- 65% of Polish women and men support the liberalization of abortion law. We promised you that women in Poland would feel safe, and we are fulfilling that promise. We have submitted a draft law for legal, safe, and accessible abortion up to the 12th week so that you can feel safe. No one has the right to decide for us. Those times are over - says Monika Rosa in a new recording published by Civic Coalition.

18:58

Biedroń:

We Will Have Our Candidate in the Presidential Election. We Have an Abundance of Female Candidates
- I certainly wouldn't vote for Szymon Hołownia in the presidential election. We will have our candidate in this election – I say 'candidate' because I believe it will be a woman – and I will have someone to vote for. This person will certainly not be choosing the third way regarding abortion – said Robert Biedroń in the "Afternoon Conversation" on RMF FM. - We happen to have an abundance of female candidates – he added, when asked if Magdalena Biejat would be the candidate for Lewica.

19:21

Biedroń:

We Will Defend the Assumptions of the Green Deal; Everything Good in It Should Be Maintained. It's a Lifeline for Farmers
- I admit to it [the Green Deal], I believe the Green Deal is necessary. […] The Green Deal has certainly been made into a monster, and I believe wrongly so. Because today, the farmers' problem is not primarily the Green Deal, today the farmers' problem is the globally flooding grain from Russia […] which is lowering prices globally, including in Poland. Commissioner Wojciechowski […] did little to protect farmers - said Robert Biedroń in RMF FM's "Afternoon Conversation". - Like my group, we will certainly defend the assumptions of the Green Deal and everything good in this Green Deal should be maintained, because this Green Deal is also a lifeline for farmers. It will ensure that farmers, in 10, 20, 50 years, will still be able to cultivate their land - he continued. - The lack of access to information for farmers [was a mistake]. They easily buy into this rhetoric because the populist right sells them this rhetoric. They used to fear joining the EU, I'll remind you, then they feared that the land would be bought up by Germans, today they fear the Green Deal. When someone doesn't understand something, when something hasn't been clearly explained by politicians and the media, then this is how it ends. It's our mistake, I'm beating my chest - he admitted.

20:01

Duda in Address: A Strong Europe is Impossible Without the United States and NATO
I believe it is necessary to increase defense spending from 2% to 3% of GDP by all Alliance states. I will convince our allies of this. I will do so both during my visit to the United States, which begins tomorrow, and in the coming months before the jubilee NATO summit in Washington in July. In my opinion, this is the best response to the threats to global security that we face today – stated President Andrzej Duda in his address.

There is no strong Europe without the United States and NATO. Just as there will be no strong NATO without Europe's commitment. There has been no better guarantor of security than the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, nor is there one now. Poland is proud to have been a part of it for 25 years. Long live the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, long live Poland! – emphasized PAD. Below is the full text of the speech.

*****

25 years ago, the dream of generations of Poles came true. On March 12, 1999, in Independence, Missouri, Poland, along with the Czech Republic and Hungary, was officially admitted to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. NATO expanded to the East. Our countries, which just ten years earlier were in the Soviet sphere of influence, then fully joined the free West. It was the true end of the Cold War, the final fall of the Iron Curtain. It was an incredibly courageous, historic decision. Let us remember, however, that it did not immediately meet with universal support and understanding from the entire West. Immense work was needed, carried out by Polish politicians, diplomats, military personnel, as well as prominent representatives of the Polish diaspora, especially the Polish-American community. The idea of Poland's presence in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization was, from the very beginning, excluded from political disputes in our country. It enjoyed widespread support from the right, through the center, to the left. Poland's accession to the Alliance is one of the greatest achievements in our recent history. All those who contributed to the realization of this great task deserve the highest recognition and eternal remembrance. Our Homeland is safe today because of it, and Poland's membership in NATO is a symbol of our national unity.

Crucial to our entry into NATO was strong support from the United States, also independent of political affiliations. We began discussions with the Republican administration of President George H.W. Bush, and the entire process of joining the Alliance was completed during the Democratic administration of President Bill Clinton. This is also the case today. Strategic Polish-American cooperation develops regardless of who holds power in Poland and in the United States. Therefore, on the eve of the 25th anniversary of our accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and my visit to the White House, I convened a meeting of the National Security Council to discuss key security issues with representatives of all political forces in Poland. It was important to me that Poland send a clear signal that we speak with one voice on these matters.

Poland is a credible and proven ally. We allocate over 4% of our GDP to maintaining and modernizing our army. The highest percentage in the entire Alliance. For these 25 years, we have shown many times that we can be counted on, including when it was necessary to fight shoulder to shoulder with the American army and the armies of other allied states. In the face of the war in Ukraine and Russia's growing imperial ambitions, NATO member states must act courageously and uncompromisingly.

Exactly as 25 years ago. We need unity, unity, and again unity in key decisions regarding security investments, in the matter of defense spending, or in a common strategy of support for Ukraine, which is defending itself against Russian aggression. Today, NATO is sending an unequivocal and strong signal by admitting Finland and Sweden into its ranks. This is a historic event. Countries that have maintained a neutral status for years are joining the Alliance. NATO is significantly strengthened as a result. However, further bold decisions are needed. In 2014, Alliance states pledged to increase military spending to 2% of their GDP. The war in Ukraine has clearly shown that the United States is and should remain the leader in security matters in Europe and the world. However, other NATO countries must also take on greater responsibility for the security of the entire Alliance, intensively modernizing and strengthening their armies. Therefore, I believe it is necessary to increase defense spending from 2% to 3% of GDP by all Alliance states. I will convince our allies of this. I will do so both during my visit to the United States, which begins tomorrow, and in the coming months before the jubilee NATO summit in Washington in July.

In my opinion, this is the best response to the threats to global security that we face today.

Zgorzelski:

Duda's Address Perfectly Describes the Situation Expected of Responsible Politicians

- I must agree with Mr. President; in every aspect, this address describes the situation that should accompany responsible politicians who hold the reins of state on behalf of the citizens. Regardless of which citizens elected them, regardless of which political organizations they represent, they should be focused on what is most important, namely Poland's security - stated Piotr Zgorzelski on TVP Info's program "Gość 19:30".

20:16

Nowacka:

Duda is simply making a fool of himself regarding the 'morning-after' pill

- The President [Duda] may not know that the 'morning-after' pill is legal in Poland, it's just prescription-only. This only means that a girl, a young woman, who wants this pill, must have the time and opportunity to get a prescription, which means that if she is less affluent, lives in a smaller town, or is less adept at navigating online stores and prescription services, her access is hindered. However, what the President fails to remember is to also speak honestly about knowledge, sex education, healthcare, and about supporting women in Poland. We know that the President holds radically conservative views and we are prepared for him to block legislation on many issues, but regarding the 'morning-after' pill, he is simply making a fool of himself - stated Barbara Nowacka on TVN24's "Kropka nad i".

20:20

Nowacka:

Women's Rights are Undisputable, Non-Negotiable, and Cannot Wait. I Don't Understand the Rage of Women Who Protested

- My parliamentary colleagues Monika Wielichowska and Dorota Niedziela, Deputy Speakers of the Sejm, voted for this debate to take place as soon as possible, and that is our stance. Women's rights are indisputable, non-negotiable, and cannot wait, and I do not understand the rage of women who took to the streets in protest, including those who voted for us because they wanted to be sure that they could safely decide to have a child in Poland, to feel safe and dignified - stated Barbara Nowacka on TVN24's "Kropka nad i".

20:24

Nowacka:

They are trying to back away from the topic now because they've realized it doesn't serve the conservative group within the Third Way electorally

- To conduct a proper referendum, one needs time for a truly in-depth public debate, and that's precisely not what they're after. They are trying to back away from the topic now because they've realized it doesn't serve the conservative group within the Third Way electorally. It serves those who are proponents of the right to choose, because it's clearly evident from all electorate surveys that our electorate, KO, the Left, or Szymon Hołownia and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz – women say: we are for the right to safe abortion – stated Barbara Nowacka on TVN24's "Kropka nad i".

20:26

Zgorzelski:

We Have a Good Minister of National Defence, the President of PSL, Who Excellently Understands the Challenges of Our Time and Knows the Realities of the Polish Army

- Poland is setting a good example because we are paying over 4%, and I'll say more, today we have a good Minister of National Defence, the President of PSL, who excellently understands the challenges of our time, knows the realities of the Polish army, and presents programs aimed at increasing the defence capabilities of both the Polish army and Poland's participation in international alliances in which we are members - stated Piotr Zgorzelski on the program "Gość 19:30" on TVP Info.

20:30

Bodnar:

I believe the decision to reinstate Barski from retirement was flawed
- I believe that this decision [to reinstate Prosecutor Barski from retirement], which was made in 2022, was flawed, and that was the basis for, one might say, reinstating Prosecutor Barski to retirement on January 12 of this year – stated Adam Bodnar on the program "Fakty po faktach" on TVN24.

20:31

Bodnar:

The Idea Behind 'Prosecutor Tours' is to Restore Dignity to the Prosecutor Profession
- No, this is about something completely different [regarding the 'prosecutor tours']. Indeed, on Friday I was in Szczecin. I had a meeting and visited the District Prosecutor's Office in Goleniów, the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Szczecin, and I had a large meeting at the Polish Theatre in Szczecin with all prosecutors, as well as assistants, assessors, and clerks working within the area of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Szczecin. The idea behind these meetings is to present the vision for the prosecutor's office and, in a sense, to ensure that prosecutors regain their professional dignity – said Adam Bodnar on TVN24.
