Błaszczak:

The Level of Hate is Enormous, and Let's Remember that When Tusk Was Prime Minister, There Was a Political Murder in Poland
- The level of hate is enormous, and let's remember that a political murder occurred in Poland. Donald Tusk was also Prime Minister then, when Marek Rosiak, a PiS activist from Łódź, was murdered. He was murdered by a former PO activist, and this was even before the era of the 'eight stars' - said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Grzegorz Kępka on Polsat News' "Graffiti". - This is a warning. If the level of hate remains this high, anything can happen, even the worst things. And I remind you that today we are dealing with violations of the law by strong individuals forcing their way into public institutions - he continued.

08:10

Błaszczak:

Hołownia Behaving Like a Shop Manager from a Bareja Film - 'I'm Revoking the Mandates of These MPs'
- Marshal Hołownia [...] is behaving like a grocery store manager from Powiśle in a Bareja film. The manager in that film was portrayed as saying 'we don't serve these customers,' and now Marshal Hołownia is saying 'I'm revoking the mandates of these MPs.' Today he revoked them for two, tomorrow he'll revoke them for more. He isn't respecting the law - Mariusz Błaszczak said on Polsat News's 'Graffiti'.

08:30

Błaszczak:

I don't want scenes like Wednesday's to happen or repeat, but I also don't want them to overshadow substantive issues: CPK and defense
- We represent substantive opposition. They are trying to force us into the framework of total opposition, like Civic Platform was… Of course, we don't want such scenes to appear, but please note that Marshal Hołownia said he removed the barriers, that the Sejm is open, yet MPs were not allowed in. […] Instead of barriers, he stationed Marshal's guards - Mariusz Błaszczak said in "Graffiti" on Polsat News. - I don't want such scenes [like on Wednesday, during the attempt by Wąsik and Kamiński to enter the Sejm] to happen or to repeat, but I also don't want them to overshadow substantive issues: CPK and defense - he continued.

08:32

Kwiatkowski:

Przyłębska Will Be Accountable Not Just for Burning Kaczyński's Dinner, but Also for Spending Without Legal Basis
- Funds are transferred to an institution, the head of the institution is responsible. Absolutely [Julia Przyłębska] will in the future be accountable not only for burning Jarosław Kaczyński's dinner, but also for all expenditures that were incurred when she was the head of the unit and did not have a legal basis for them - stated Krzysztof Kwiatkowski on TOK FM.

08:36

Błaszczak:

You Can't Protect Roses When the Forest is Burning. Now We Must Arm Ourselves to the Teeth
- It [the National Security Strategy] did not need to be updated, because the National Security Strategy from 2020 already anticipated the Russian threat. For the first time in history, unlike the strategy adopted during the PO-PSL coalition era, Russia was recognized as the main threat to Poland. So, we were prepared for what happened - Mariusz Błaszczak stated on Polsat News's "Graffiti". - These retired generals are advising Kosiniak-Kamysz to focus on strategies. You can't protect roses when the forest is burning. Now we must do everything to arm ourselves to the teeth - he continued.

08:41

Błaszczak:

Let them stop watching and start buying weapons. If they keep scrutinizing contracts, tragedy will strike
- Let them stop watching and start buying weapons, let them strengthen the Polish army numerically. If they keep scrutinizing contracts, tragedy will strike. This is because action is needed, not stagnation and some kind of revenge. [...] If they concentrate on audits and documents, they won't even notice that the situation of our security will worsen - said Mariusz Błaszczak on Polsat News' 'Graffiti'.

08:48

Błaszczak on Tusk's Post to Republicans in the USA: 'It's a Crime, Because What If They Win? Tusk Attacked Them'
- A serious political mistake. It's a crime, because what will happen if the Republicans win? And the presidential elections are this year […]. In foreign policy, one must be very balanced, cautious. Donald Tusk attacked the Republicans - said Mariusz Błaszczak in the 'Graffiti' program on Polsat News. - When I was the Minister of National Defence, I managed to establish very good relations with both Secretaries of Defense from the Republican Party and the Democratic Party - he continued.

08:58

Telus on Events Before the Sejm: 'I Know It Shouldn't Have Been Like That. Standing There, I Felt Ashamed Before the Guards.'

- I personally do. I know it shouldn't have been like that, it was crowd psychology. Standing there, I felt ashamed before the guards. On one side them, on the other side editors pushing. There should have been a few more guards who would have moved journalists away from us, and there would have been no problem. Crowd psychology is to blame on all sides. The editors wanted to be as close as possible and take pictures. One of them hit me with a camera. It was crowd psychology. This shouldn't have happened, it wasn't intended - stated Robert Telus in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program 'Gość Radia Zet'.

09:00

Telus on Kamiński and Wąsik: This case will surely proceed, they wanted to enter and Marshal Hołownia didn't let them into the Sejm
No, of course not. They wanted to enter and for there to be evidence in the case, because this case will surely proceed, that they wanted to enter and Marshal Hołownia didn't let them into the Sejm. This Marshal, who says "a smiling Sejm, we invite all citizens" was closed to MPs – stated Robert Telus on the program "Guest of Radio Zet".

09:13

Paprocka on PKW Member Selection: No Delay or Ill Will from the President
- There has been some incredible confusion surrounding this matter [...] this is a legal action because the regulation states that the term expires 150 days after the elections, which, as far as I remember, is March 12th or 13th, so there is no delay from the President, there is no ill will from the President, as some people want to attribute intentions here. We are talking about the law, we are talking about the wording of the regulation, and we are at a stage where the President has requested additional information - said Małgorzata Paprocka in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka's Political Salon." - The provision of the Electoral Code law speaks of the proportional selection of seven members of the National Electoral Commission (PKW) by parliamentary clubs. The situation we have is that the two largest clubs, namely PiS and Civic Coalition, have chosen four members, while the three remaining clubs, excluding Confederation, with a total of 90 MPs, have chosen four members. It is difficult to consider this proportional and in line with mathematics. The President has requested a position and clarification on whether the clubs agreed to this, whether there was consensus on this matter, whether the candidates who were nominated in this number were outvoted and that's all. There is no hidden agenda in this matter; it's about caring for the law, for compliance with the code, and for ensuring that the PKW, as a very important body in the state, is not subsequently questioned by anyone - she continued.

09:23

Paprocka:

Marshal Hołownia Assumes Competence to Select Supreme Court Rulings and Disregard Them
- I am not aware of any statement from Marshal Hołownia in which he addresses and explains to citizens why he does not respect the rulings of the Supreme Court. I am referring particularly to the rulings of the Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs Chamber regarding Member of Parliament Wąsik, because one ruling was issued concerning Member of Parliament Wąsik, the Marshal's decision to extinguish [his mandate] was revoked, the Marshal's decision was never announced in the Monitor Polski, and the situation here is entirely clear - Małgorzata Paprocka said in Trójka. - Indeed, from a legal perspective and given the legal chaos that has occurred in the Supreme Court, when the Chamber of Labor, without any legal basis, issued a second ruling after the case had already been judged by another chamber, it is a bit more complicated, but as far as I know, certain procedures are still ongoing in the Supreme Court as a result of appeals being filed. However, the Marshal is assuming a competence he does not have, to select rulings and, in fact, to disregard them. I understand that the Marshal is in a difficult situation, which Minister Bodnar also somewhat led him into from the very beginning by not adhering to the procedure and sending documents too early. But one is the Marshal of the Sejm, one has a parliamentary mandate, and one must take responsibility for their actions - he continued.

09:24

Kaczyński:

There is no free mandate. This is a violation of the law by the Marshal

- There is no free mandate. This is a violation of the law by the [Sejm] Marshal, and that's all there is to it. I would advise reading the Act on the Supreme Court, which chamber has the right to make decisions in these matters. It is written unequivocally, and that chamber has made unequivocal decisions, and there is no appeal against it - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in an interview with journalists in the Sejm.

09:29

Paprocka on Sending Laws to the Constitutional Tribunal: Each Law Will Be Examined Regarding Wąsik and Kamiński's Mandates
- This matter will be examined with every subsequent law, whether the mandate was exercised, whether it could have been, whether it could not have been exercised, or if there was an attempt. Let's be honest, laws are very rarely passed in the Sejm with the presence of all 460 deputies; there are various circumstances, and the President will certainly consider this matter each time if there are any doubts in this regard - said Małgorzata Paprocka on Trójka, when asked if the President would send all laws adopted by the Sejm in the absence of Wąsik and Kamiński to the Constitutional Tribunal.

09:31

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

We Understand the Reasons for Farmers' Protests. The Negligence of the Last 8 Years is Unacceptable

- The issue of farmers' protests across Europe is a serious matter. Yes, there have never been such protests in Europe, and we understand the reasons for farmers' protests in Poland as well. The negligence of the last 8 years is unacceptable, the lack of profitability in agriculture is tragic, you have brought Polish villages to the brink of bankruptcy, and who is responsible for this? Who is the Commissioner for Agriculture in the EU? Janusz Wojciechowski from PiS, nominated for this position by PiS - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in the Sejm.

09:31

Mentzen:

'We Looked Like Maniacs Again, That Fire Extinguisher Stunt Didn't Help Us. I Was a Big Supporter of Suspending Braun'
- Yes, we looked like maniacs again, I agree with that all the time. That fire extinguisher stunt didn't help us, and it wasn't what we expected from Grzegorz Braun at that moment (...). I was a big supporter of suspending Grzegorz Braun, I voted for suspending Grzegorz Braun, we didn't have a vote on expelling Grzegorz Braun. I believe that these kinds of actions, of course, do not help us. We need to discuss this with Grzegorz Braun, because it is quite evident at first glance that we have slightly different goals at the moment – stated Sławomir Mentzen on RMF FM.

- As I said, I deeply disagree with what happened there, it wasn't just bad, inappropriate, it was also harmful. So, it's not worse than a crime, it was also a mistake on top of that, so I completely disagree. We need to sit down with Grzegorz Braun and think about where we want to be in a year – he continued.

09:32

Mentzen:

There is currently no synergy between us and Braun
- Some years ago, four, five almost, I went to Grzegorz Braun to invite him to Konfederacja. We agreed on a joint project, and this project has been ongoing for a few years. At that time, we certainly had synergy between our electorates, we had synergy in our actions. We need to consider together whether it still exists. Currently, this [synergy] is not necessarily the case - said Sławomir Mentzen on RMF FM.

10:46

Kołodziejczak to PiS MP: "We'll Meet in Court Over These Slanders You've Uttered"
"Mr. Jarosław Kaczyński, Mr. President Kaczyński, on June 22, 2022, said – Ukrainian grain does not threaten us, let's not be afraid of imports to Poland. You are responsible for everything that has happened, and for these slanders that you, [Łukasiewicz], have uttered, we will meet in court, I invite you," stated Michał Kołodziejczak in the Sejm. – A scandalous situation occurred yesterday. Mr. Michał Kołodziejczak called a farmer from the Podlaskie Voivodeship, Ms. Julita Olszewska, and began to intimidate her. I have screenshots of this. What's more! Mr. Michał Kołodziejczak sent thugs, strong men, to Julita Olszewska's home who ordered her to remove a video from the internet that had three million views. This is a scandal! – said PiS MP Sebastian Łukasiewicz.

11:15

Kaczyński:

I will call Wojciechowski and ask him to resign as EU Commissioner

- I believe that Commissioner [Janusz Wojciechowski], and today I will ask him by phone, as I cannot do otherwise, to end his mission - Jarosław Kaczyński told journalists in the Sejm.

- But whether he will end it, I simply don't know, because I have no influence on whether he is a commissioner or not. It is entirely his decision, but due to these very unfortunate statements, he should end his mission - he continued.

- Moreover, his mission would only be shortened by a few months, because the next commissioner will be selected by the current majority - emphasized the PiS leader.

11:24

Hołownia:

Sójka to Resign from Orlen Supervisory Board Position
I discussed this yesterday with Professor Sójka. Honestly, I didn't know he was in that position [on the Orlen supervisory board], because I don't control the nomination processes. Other bodies in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister are responsible for that. I spoke with him about it yesterday evening, and we both agreed – he is truly a man of great caliber – that for full transparency of the process, and so that no one has any doubts regarding state assets, it would be better for him to resign from this position now, and the professor has submitted or is submitting such a resignation – stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in the Sejm.

11:25

Hołownia on State-Owned Companies: We will strive to present a bill on supervisory board and management appointments by the end of February
- By the end of February, we will strive to present a draft bill, the assumptions of which I wanted to share today, to present it to our coalition partners so that we can jointly decide with our partners how to conduct the necessary process of nominating individuals to supervisory boards and management of state-owned companies even more clearly and efficiently, leaving no doubt that Poland has definitively moved away from the standards we remember from the times of Law and Justice - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference. - Among these assumptions [...] we want to include a ban on donations to political parties by members of supervisory boards and management of state-owned companies. This must be stated very clearly: there will be no return to this pathology. [...] We want to propose [...] that the currently functioning Council for State-Owned Companies, which fulfills its role, be somehow rebuilt, enriched, and become a nomination committee with a five-year term, extending beyond the parliamentary term. It will, of course, be appointed with the participation of representatives of the Council of Ministers, but the political key will be described to you when the project is on the table - he continued. - In this act, we will of course speak very clearly and precisely about the conditions that someone who wants to be on the supervisory board or management of a state-owned company should meet, regarding their previous party affiliation, activities, what they should do, and what they can combine - he further stated. - Already today, as Poland 2050, we announce that work on this project [...] has started and that I hope it will conclude by the end of February with a proposal that we will submit to our coalition partners [...]. Today we are in a transitional period where it is truly necessary to enter these companies, to have competent people there who will have the full trust of the government [...]. This is a rescue operation today concerning state treasury assets, but we know that you expect completely new, long-term standards from us - he added.

11:30

Hołownia:

Carlson Played the Role of a Useful Idiot. He Handed a Microphone to a Liar, Murderer, and International Terrorist

- Mr. Carlson, I was a journalist for 25 years, made exactly the same mistake that Olivier Stone made earlier, by going for that famous, multi-part interview with Putin. He played the role of a useful idiot. That needs to be said directly. He handed a microphone to a liar, a murderer, and an international terrorist, and simply let him present his version, because he operated under the assumption that he's just a journalist and since he has Hitler and Anne Frank in his studio, he must give a voice to each of them, because that's what a free public debate is, let everyone state their case. What he did was foolish, and Putin, of course, spouted nonsense in that interview – stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in the Sejm.

11:39

Duda in Tanzania: I am pleased that a large group of Polish entrepreneurs are interested in cooperation in modern industry and economy
- We can also expand this bond to additional areas that will bring profits to Poland and Tanzania in the future, especially to our entrepreneurs. Over 40,000 Poles visit Zanzibar every year in recent years to enjoy the sun, relax, and admire the nature of Tanzania. This year, there are already over 6,000 people here who have come from Poland precisely for tourist purposes, for vacation. Madam President, there will be more of them, because the economic situation in Poland is very good. Last year, we had high inflation, people were a bit afraid to spend money, they were more restrained in their spending. You know, everyone was looking at what would happen. We managed to overcome this inflation to a great extent, it is much lower now. The economic situation in Poland is very good right now. So we can expect that more and more tourists will come to Tanzania - stated President Andrzej Duda at a press conference in the United Republic of Tanzania. - I am also pleased that a large group of Polish entrepreneurs are interested in cooperation in modern industry in the field of a modern economy, for example in areas such as intelligent urban infrastructure, water resource management, the creation of a modern electronic, digital banking system, or all information and telecommunication technologies. I assure you that Polish companies offer this at the highest world level - he added.

11:40

Hołownia:

I Trust Bodnar's Legal Actions and the Government's Actions
Yes, I have confidence in Minister Bodnar and in the government's actions, both concerning public media and the prosecution service, and in many other aspects. I believe Minister Bodnar has an extremely difficult task; he has encountered a state where systemic safeguards have been incorporated, not just statutory but systemic ones, and this is truly a formidable job he has to do. We are currently in discussions with him about solutions concerning the Constitutional Tribunal, which also need to appear in the Sejm during the upcoming sessions here in this chamber. He is a responsible lawyer who is thoughtfully and calmly considering how to fix the monstrous mess, the chaos, that PiS left behind, and what PiS has done to the Polish state – stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in the Sejm.

11:55

Hołownia:

We are fighting for our lives here, and if the world doesn't pay Ukraine with money today to defeat Putin, we will pay for it with the blood of our children.
I think that regarding our security, we should adhere to one principle: we should be honest. I believe that Americans, perhaps this new majority, this new government, because presidential elections are just around the corner, must be aware that we are fighting for our lives here. We are not fighting for votes in Idaho or Montana, or for how we perform in South Carolina. Instead, we are physically fighting for our lives. And we in Poland know very well today that if the world does not pay Ukraine with the money that has been denied to it to defeat Putin, then we Poles will pay for it with the blood of our children, and we cannot allow that. In this matter, every outcry, every call is entirely justified – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in the Sejm.

12:20

Bodnar Announces Competition for New National Prosecutor
The Minister of Justice and the Prosecutor General has announced a competition for the position of National Prosecutor and has appointed a Team to evaluate candidates – the Ministry of Justice informed.

In a released statement, the ministry presented the requirements for candidates.

13:49

Bodnar:

For 7 Years, There Was No Will to Change Public Media

- For these 7 years, there was no will to make any changes in public media. Moreover, this situation in public media deepened, deepening in terms of the one-sided use of public media to spread party propaganda, exclusively to the benefit of one side of the political scene - stated Adam Bodnar during a session of the parliamentary Committee on Justice.

13:51

Bodnar:

Parliamentary Resolution, Coupled with Ministerial Ownership Rights, Grants Authority to Act Regarding Public Media Operations

- I am aware that the Sejm's resolution is not normative in character; it is declarative. However, I believe that the Sejm's resolution, when combined with the ownership rights of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, grants the authority to undertake specific actions concerning the functioning of public media, and these actions have been taken by Minister Sienkiewicz - stated Adam Bodnar during a session of the Sejm's Justice Committee.

13:52

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

First Report on Team's Work by March 31st, Analyzing Options Including Tax Deductions and Social Security for Clergy of Various Faiths

- The Church Fund, established in 1950, we could trace its history, but today it largely concerns social security, social security for, for example, religious sisters, social security for various religious unions, because it does not concern only and exclusively the Catholic Church, it is often perceived that way, but I want to be precise here, it concerns various religious unions – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

- Regarding the actions the team will undertake. The analysis of these methods of tax deduction in various countries, today we have preliminarily analyzed what is happening, how it looks in Spain, Italy, and the Federal Republic of Germany, but each member of the team is conducting an analysis. We will try to submit two or three proposals to the Council of Ministers in the coming weeks, which the coalition will be able to choose from. There is the concept of tax deduction, and the concept related only to social security, to pension security, has also appeared (...) And this new solution will also be proposed, of course, after dialogue, first among the team members, then presentation to the Council of Ministers, decision-making, and dialogue with communities, with churches, with religious unions. Not with one, but with all. We will prepare the first report on the team's work by March 31st – he continued.

14:35

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

There is no state defense without universal engagement and defense; a civil defense law is needed for this
- Citizen community, national community - that is the foundation. There is no state defense without universal engagement and defense; that is the first thing, and we must do it. For this, for example, a civil defense law is needed. This is one of the important points we are working on with Minister Kierwiński. The second issue is strength within the EU and NATO; there have already been achievements regarding support, for example, for Ukraine, and this decision by the European Council to transfer 50 billion for Ukraine – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

15:42

Siekierski at Farmers' Protest: I Will Now Appeal for an End to This Blockade
- Farmers are protesting because they are in a difficult situation, and we must understand them. Spring is approaching, they lack resources, they don't have money for fertilizers, for purchasing plant protection products, and they want to produce. This is also in the interest of all of us, including as consumers. Therefore, as the Minister of Agriculture, it is my duty to come here, listen, and talk. [...] Yesterday I spoke with the Minister of Finance, earlier I spoke with the European Commission, I spoke in Ukraine, we are conducting technical talks at a lower level, where we are establishing the rules for trade, because we want to monitor everything, so that we have information and knowledge about the volume of goods entering the Polish market - said Czesław Siekierski in an interview with journalists at the farmers' protest. - We are also discussing with the European Commission regarding the elimination of not always rational greening requirements, because farmers know how to produce, they know when to apply fertilizers. There is no need to control this from the EU level, because agriculture is different in Europe, and agriculture is different in Poland [...]. I want to talk about these matters first on Tuesday at the government meeting, and I also want to talk about these matters next week, probably Wednesday or Thursday, we will meet with representatives of the protesting farmers and we will formulate demands together - he continued. - I will now appeal for us to end this blockade, because transports must move, people are going to work, we know it makes life difficult. We asked the farmers for the protests to be as least inconvenient as possible, we also asked society to understand these demands, but there must be a certain degree of common sense here - he went on to say.

15:47

Hołownia:

No One from Poland 2050 Will Be Appointed to Supervisory Boards
- We are starting changes with ourselves. No person employed by or belonging to Poland 2050 will receive an appointment to supervisory boards. If such individuals are there today, they will resign - wrote Szymon Hołownia on social media.

17:02

Kleina on Farmers' Protests: There's a Crisis in EU Environmental Programs; Some Must Be Abandoned. Certain Things Will Need to Be Remodeled.

- The farmers' protest has spread across Europe. There's a crisis in the environmental programs proposed by the European Union; some of them must be abandoned. Today it's clearly visible that the European Commission is saying that some of its plans cannot be achieved or realized. I think we see this perfectly in Poland, and we, as citizens, also see that certain things will need to be remodeled – stated Kazimierz Kleina in the "Afternoon Conversation" on PR24.

17:03

Kleina:

As Civic Platform, We Solve Problems Step by Step

- I think that we, as Civic Platform, are solving problems step by step. So the issue of agricultural relations between Poland and Ukraine, because it is clearly visible here that we are still open and want strong ties with Ukraine's economy, but the competitiveness of Ukrainian agriculture does not have to meet such very strict norms as Polish agriculture, which is in the interest of consumers. These products are definitely cheaper and they are destroying our agriculture - stated Kazimierz Kleina in the 'Afternoon Conversation' on PR24.

17:04

Kleina:

Commissioner Wojciechowski Will Definitely Not Be in the New EC

- Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski is responsible for agriculture in the European Union. And farmers' protests are a European problem, not solely a Polish one. Even PiS and Jarosław Kaczyński are saying Wojciechowski should go; we have been saying this all along, that he disregards agricultural issues and cannot cope with them. We realize his days are numbered, if only because the European elections are approaching soon and there will be a new European Commission. Commissioner Wojciechowski will definitely not be in the new European Commission - stated Kazimierz Kleina in the "Afternoon Conversation" on PR24.

17:09

Bodnar:

I hope the bill concerning the National Council of the Judiciary will be adopted by the government next week

- The draft has been presented. I hope this draft will be adopted by the Council of Ministers next week. This draft assumes a return to the previous method of electing judicial members of the National Council of the Judiciary, meaning it assumes that judges will elect the members of the KRS. Furthermore, the draft has undergone very comprehensive social consultations. All entities have commented on this matter, and we have tried to incorporate all remarks, and in this way, we want to restore the state of constitutionality, the compliance of the KRS's functioning with the Constitution - stated Adam Bodnar in an interview with journalists in the Sejm.

19:00

Wojciechowski:

I don't take instructions, I won't act under pressure. I will speak in a few days, I'm not planning to resign today.
- I haven't looked at my phone - said Janusz Wojciechowski on the program "Point of View" on Polsat News, when asked by Grzegorz Jankowski if Jarosław Kaczyński had called him. - I think this is a matter of providing information about my activities. I will prepare such information. I think too little is known in Poland about what I am doing in the European Commission [...]. I think that some politicians also have too little knowledge about my activities - he continued. - Two such statements were made today. First, Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz made one, and here I want to react very firmly. Pursuant to the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU, members of the EC do not accept instructions from member state governments, so I want to tell Mr. Kosiniak-Kamysz very clearly that I do not accept instructions from him - he emphasized. - The second statement, the opinion of President Kaczyński, I take very seriously, but I will reserve the right to present detailed information about my actions in the EC. I will not act under pressure or in a way that is not commensurate with the importance of these matters. […] I have very important tasks ahead of me - he continued. When asked if he would resign before the end of his term, the commissioner stated: - I think I will speak on this matter in a few days. I will present information about my activities. This will probably be on Thursday. Today I do not foresee or plan any such decisions.

19:43

Bartoszewski:

The Farmers' Protest is Caused by PiS Leaving Farmers to Themselves
- This is a protest in Poland caused by the fact that PiS left farmers completely to themselves for eight years, even though they had an agriculture commissioner in the European Union during the last term, who did absolutely nothing for Polish farmers, and accepted catastrophic anti-farming projects, against which farmers in many European countries are protesting - said Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski in an interview with Grzegorz Kępka on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News. - Since when have we been in power? Only for a month and a half, whereas the European Union's decisions were made during the PiS government, which signed off on all of this, and Commissioner Wojciechowski even boasted about it - he continued.

19:46

MFA Publishes Statement:

10 Lies from Putin That Carlson Remained Silent On.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published a statement concerning "10 lies of President Vladimir Putin regarding Poland and Ukraine that Tucker Carlson did not challenge" in an interview he conducted with the Russian leader on February 8th.

19:50

Bartoszewski:

When Farmers in Germany and France Take to the Streets, Brussels Takes It Much More Seriously Than When Farmers in Bulgaria or Poland Do
- We will fight this [the solutions proposed by the European Commission] together with several other EU countries. Firstly, not only with countries like the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, but at the moment it has also affected farmers... when farmers in Germany and France start to take to the streets, it is taken much more seriously in Brussels than when farmers in Bulgaria take to the streets, or even in Poland - said Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski in Polsat News. - From Brussels' point of view, if France and Germany come to a standstill, then it is treated more seriously and the European Commission will withdraw from certain solutions - he continued.

19:57
