A New KO Campaign Spot:

Happy Poland's Time Has Come!

- We want a Poland that is free, lawful, safe, honest, clean, and green, a Poland of self-governance, a European Poland. There is no reason why the best people in the world should have the worst government in the world. That's why we are here, so that things can be normal again, so that it can be beautiful again. Go on October 15th for victory, for yourselves, for Poland, for your children, for a better future, for a proud homeland. Go and win - says Donald Tusk in the KO clip.

Kukiz on Civic Platform: The 'Civic' Suffix is Either Mocking People or a Cover for Authoritarian Activities

- Tusk is threatening that he has already invalidated this referendum; this already shows the approach of Civic Platform, where this 'Civic' suffix is either a mockery of the people, or some kind of cover for real authoritarian activities aimed at enriching themselves at the expense of the Polish state and its companies, and generally everything - stated Paweł Kukiz in an interview with Stanisław Janecki on the program "Sygnały Dnia" on PR24.

07:57

Schetyna:

This is a One-Man Campaign, Such Was the Decision of the Strategists and Tusk Himself
- He [Donald Tusk] has taken responsibility upon himself; this is a one-man campaign, and indeed he holds the reins very firmly in his hands. This was the decision of the strategists and also of Donald Tusk himself. I understand this; the question is whether it will bring victory. I believe so. That Tusk will lead to this ultimate victory and remove PiS from power - said Grzegorz Schetyna in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

08:03

Błaszczak:

Tusk Tried to Generate Conflict, Using the Polish Army for His Campaign

- The editor speaks of a conflict that Donald Tusk tried to generate, using the Polish Army for his election campaign, attempting to introduce chaos by using the act of two generals relinquishing their uniforms. But I want to strongly emphasize that they have been replaced by excellent individuals, top-class specialists, experienced soldiers, and commanders - stated Mariusz Błaszczak on PR1's "Sygnały dnia".

08:06

Schetyna:

Final Days Could Yield Several or a Dozen More Seats
- PiS will not have 205 seats. They will have between 185 and 195, below 200, and I believe it's possible for the democratic opposition to have over 230 seats because there are approximately 10 to 12 constituencies where PiS is taking the last seat, speaking according to polls, of course, and the next would be Civic Coalition. It's possible that in the final days, mobilization, reaching undecided voters could cause this shift and we could gain several or a dozen extra seats – said Grzegorz Schetyna on TVN24.

08:08

Błaszczak:

October is the month when those who want to hang up their uniforms usually leave

- October is the month when those who want to hang up their uniforms usually leave. Why? Because it is financially and tax-wise beneficial for them, as there is a 3-month severance pay, meaning they enter the new year and thus receive all these financial severance payments and vacation equivalents in the following year. This is the most advantageous. Therefore, if someone decides to transition to civilian life, they do so in October, and this is a manipulation that Tusk has used to incite chaos, to strike at the Polish Army in a situation of real threat, because the migration crisis threatens us - stated Mariusz Błaszczak in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

08:12

Błaszczak:

Tusk's Attack on the Territorial Defence Force Proves He Would Abolish It if He Came to Power, Weakening the Polish Army

- "Tusk's attack on the Territorial Defence Force (WOT) is proof that, God forbid, if he came to power, he would abolish WOT because it weakens the Polish Army, and it's evident he's heading in that direction," stated Mariusz Błaszczak in "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1.

08:33

Czarnek:

Recent Poll Trends Show Civic Platform Losing Support, Hołownia and Kosiniak-Kamysz Being Pushed

- It's completely obvious that he's already trying to find a way out, as difficult as riding a horse uphill, because analyses will appear in Onet or other online media suggesting that these elections will probably be invalidated. The fact that defeat lies ahead of him is completely obvious. All the trends in election polls published in recent days show that Civic Platform is losing support, while Hołownia and Kosiniak-Kamysz are being forcefully promoted – stated Przemysław Czarnek in "24 pytania" on PR24.

08:35

Czarnek:

Do you think generals appointed during PiS's tenure would suddenly resign days before elections?

- Do you think that generals who were appointed to positions during the PiS government, who had been serving for a long time, would suddenly, three days before the elections, feel a surge of pride and say, 'No, we're resigning now'? If they were honorable soldiers, they would have simply submitted their resignation, if something didn't suit them, on the Monday after the elections, or six months ago, long before the elections. But by using the election campaign, 3-4 days before the elections, to save Tusk, who lost the debate on TVP, they announce their resignation the day after - stated Przemysław Czarnek on PR24's "24 pytania" program.

08:38

Müller on Schetyna's words: Civic Platform is already looking for those to blame for their defeat

- Civic Platform is already looking for those to blame for their defeat. They are rightly pointing to Donald Tusk. Especially after his loss to Mateusz Morawiecki in the debate. They also see the polling trends and know that we have a chance for an independent majority. That's why we are fighting to the end! Every vote counts! - wrote government spokesperson Piotr Müller on Twitter.

08:39

Czarnek:

On October 15th, we must say 'no' to Tusk and forced relocation

- Tusk threatened Poland that if it did not agree to forced relocation, it would be punished. This same Tusk wants to rule today, so we are defending the security of ordinary Poles. On October 15th, we must say 'no' to Tusk and the forced relocation of illegal immigrants - stated Przemysław Czarnek in "24 pytania" on PR24.

09:16

Kamiński:

We are extending temporary border controls with Slovakia until November 2nd

- These checks showed us the scale of the phenomenon. I will remind you that two weeks before the formal implementation of these decisions, we began intensified checks. We uncovered about 550 illegal migrants. This showed us that the matter is serious, that this Balkan route, one of its branches, is indeed functioning. We introduced temporary controls at the borders. In the last few days, we have detained 156 illegal migrants, and we have turned them back at the Slovak border – said Mariusz Kamiński in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

- Tomorrow marks the end of the first period for which temporary control was introduced at the border with Slovakia, and today, right after our conversation, I am going to the ministry. A draft to extend it by another 20 days, until November 2nd, has already been prepared. So today, we will announce shortly that the temporary control will be extended until November 2nd, and this is in accordance with the Schengen Code, as per procedure – he continued.

09:18

Kamiński:

Over the Past 8 Years, We Neutralized 101 Belarusian and Russian Spies, Including 46 Arrested and 55 Expelled

- Yes, we have indeed conducted such a counterintelligence summary of recent years. We will also issue a statement on this matter today. Very simple numbers regarding our 8 years of governance. 46 Russian and Belarusian spies were arrested, and 55 spies who were in our country under diplomatic cover, possessing diplomatic immunity, were expelled. This brings the total number of neutralized spies to 101, with 46 of them arrested. As for our predecessors, over 8 years they detained 11 spies and expelled 7, so it's 101 compared to 18, one could say – said Mariusz Kamiński on "Sygnały dnia" PR1.

09:20

Kamiński on Polish Services' Agreement with FSB: Article 2, Point B, of the agreement stated that Polish services would commit to combating the activities of other special services on Russian territory

- This is shocking. It is shocking because the essence of this agreement is unprecedented, and I am convinced that no self-respecting country, especially a member of NATO, would have allowed itself to sign such an agreement. In which Article 2, Point B, it stated that Polish services commit to combating the activities of other special services on Russian territory. Subversive and intelligence activities, meaning those directed against the Russian Federation, and it was Polish services that committed to this, and without any limitations, such as it not applying to NATO states – stated Mariusz Kamiński in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

11:22

Morawiecki:

Even Courts of the Third Polish Republic Acknowledged the Migration Pact Includes Forced Relocation of Illegal Immigrants

The war in the Middle East, a massive migration crisis, are linked to immense threats, danger for all Poles. They are linked to great danger because Poland faces the threat of another powerful wave of migration, this time from the Middle East. We know this situation from a few years ago. Back then, that migration pact also led to the relocation of illegal immigrants, and the Civic Platform (PO) agreed to it. Ewa Kopacz's government agreed to it, and Donald Tusk, as President of the European Council, threatened Poland with consequences, penalties for not accepting illegal immigrants. Therefore, today's migration pact, as we know beyond any doubt after my recent meetings in the European Council, is linked to illegal immigration and the distribution of illegal immigrants to all member states. Let's think about this now, dear compatriots – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in a statement to the media.

Among these great waves of migrants that threaten us, there will be Islamic fighters, terrorists; it cannot be avoided. These are hundreds of thousands of young men who will be migrating to Europe, and we have been warning against this in various ways, including through our various films, which were supposed to be banned. Censorship was to be imposed on them; that is what our opponents demanded. But even the courts of the Third Polish Republic acknowledged that the migration pact includes the forced relocation of illegal immigrants. Today, it is more than clear to everyone. For me, it has always been clear – he continued.

11:25

Morawiecki:

Let's Not Agree to This, Let's Reject It in a Referendum. Let's Not Allow Poland to Become a Second Lampedusa

- The fundamental assumption, confirmed a few days ago in Spain at the European Council, is the adoption of the migration pact, under which we will have compulsory relocation of illegal immigrants to all member states, including Poland. Let's not agree to this, let's reject it in a referendum. That is what this referendum is for, that is what these elections are for. Now we can firmly say 'no' to them, to these illegal migrants from the Middle East, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, from all other countries, from North Africa. Let's not allow Poland to become a second Lampedusa - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in a statement to the media.

11:29

Morawiecki:

See the True Intentions of Tusk's Party, PO. We Must Call Things as They Are. This is Trading Away Security

- [Donald Tusk] agreed to a position that he has promised there, just as it was similar before. He received a position, they agreed to illegal immigration, to accepting even several dozen, we will accept any number - that's what they said then. Today, we stand before an even greater risk, because we see what is starting to happen in the Middle East. I warn all Poles - this is a dangerous strategy. Accepting illegal immigrants today, which Tusk's party demands in Europe. See what a brazen lie this is. Here in the country, they tell you that perhaps they don't really support this migration pact either, but Tusk's party in Europe votes for the migration pact containing the mandatory relocation of illegal immigrants. See the true intentions of Tusk's party, PO. We must call these things as they are. It is trading away the security of Polish women, Polish children. We will not allow the situation to be like in Western Europe, in the suburbs of cities - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in a statement to the media.

11:34

Morawiecki:

I Appeal to All Compatriots. Let's Participate in the Referendum as Whole Families. PO Equals Illegal Immigration

- We will show all these videos once again. I very much ask all our compatriots to share these truthful videos, videos that reveal the truth about illegal immigrants and the fact that PO in the EU supports illegal immigration as part of the migration pact. This is an incredibly important matter - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in a media statement.

- In this situation, we must do one thing – go to the polls and also vote in the referendum. Only PiS is the guarantor, and we have been the guarantor from the very beginning of vetoing illegal immigration from the Middle East, against these terrorists who will try to infiltrate Europe. This is clear today; the leaders of Hamas called for it today - he continued.

- I appeal to all our compatriots. Let's participate in the referendum as whole families. Encourage your neighbors, family acquaintances, friends, closer and further ones, those you haven't spoken to in a long time. Today, this message must reach everyone. PO equals illegal immigration. This is evident from their votes in Europe. I warn against this; Donald Tusk is a dangerous man. Let's protect Polish families, Polish women from the rapes that are visible in Western Europe, from these robberies, from looted shops, destroyed hospitals. They have no respect for any culture; let's defend Poland, our culture, the Polish family. I ask all my compatriots for this - the Prime Minister concluded.

Cieszyński:

NASK Warns: Don't Fall for Disinformation Attacks in the Final Stretch of the Campaign

The Minister of Digital Affairs referred to a statement from NASK, the government agency responsible for cybersecurity, which informs that "in recent days, CERT Polska experts have received information about ongoing disinformation activities in cyberspace. We warn voters – the final days of the election campaign are a period of particular threat from external entities who may wish to influence the course of the elections to the Sejm and the Senate."

"Campaigns identified by NASK experts involve the distribution of false email messages and SMS messages containing untrue program proposals by disinformation agents impersonating the Law and Justice Electoral Committee. Unsecured domains with names similar to those used by the electoral committee and SMS gateways used for mass messaging were employed for sending such messages, among other methods. Electoral committee programs can be found on their official websites and verified social media profiles. Election messages from unidentified senders should be thoroughly checked," NASK writes.

12:36

Jaki:

Relocation is Officially Forced. Tusk, Stop Lying with Your Appendages from Hołownia, PSL, and So On
Organizations favorable to Civic Platform wanted to ban talk of coercion in the relocation aspect of the migration pact, and today a first-instance court legally dismissed such a demand, which clearly shows that this relocation is forced and poses a huge danger to Poland. From the very beginning, we have been against vast numbers of people flooding into Poland, which would transform this country from a safe one, as it is today, as all statistics, even from the European Union, show, into an exceptionally dangerous one. This is a fundamental issue. It is already evident today that European bureaucracy, with the help of our opposition, will push through this migration pact, and the only chance to stop it is to go to the referendum and vote 4x no. Poles can once again save not only their own security but that of all of Europe – stated Patryk Jaki in Elbląg. I am glad that we are winning in the final stretch in election mode and it can officially be said that relocation is forced. Tusk, stop lying with your appendages from Hołownia, PSL, and so on. Relocation is forced, and only we can stop these immigrants – he added.

Duda on the Reconstruction of the Saxon Palace: I have no doubt that Poland can afford to realize this project, no matter how spectacular
- I am here primarily to thank everyone gathered here in the hall, involved in this great idea, but actually in this great idea of rebuilding this historical part of Warsaw. The idea of rebuilding the Saxon Palace, the Brühl Palace, and the townhouses on Królewska Street is not new. It returned with full force during the time when Professor Lech Kaczyński was the Mayor of Warsaw; he wanted to restore these buildings to Warsaw, his Warsaw; he had such great ambition. At that time, as you know, preparatory works began; the foundations of the Saxon Palace were uncovered for the first time, and archaeological research was carried out. Later, for various reasons, which I will not return to, these works were abandoned, the site was secured, and left for later – said President Andrzej Duda during the ceremony announcing the results of the competition for the concept of the Saxon Palace reconstruction. - This place, so significant, so immensely inscribed in the historical memory of Warsaw, these palaces and these townhouses have their significance, it can be boldly said, not only timeless, but also in a way almost magical for Warsaw. [...] I thank everyone who is participating in this reconstruction process, which at this moment, one can boldly say, is already very advanced – he continued. - I have no doubt that Warsaw and Poland can absolutely afford to realize this project today, no matter how spectacular it may be. None of you, I believe, doubt that we are capable of doing this, not only in terms of intellect, the abilities of our designers, architects, and artists, but also financially – he went on to say.

13:36

Hołownia:

I said this this morning on Wirtualna Polska and I want to reiterate very clearly - a coalition with PiS? Over my dead body

- I want to address the current situation, because in these final minutes and hours of the campaign, a very brutal game is also underway. We observe with what panic, with what fear PiS is receiving this last week, they are deploying all possible weapons at their disposal, and they have quite a few due to the fact that they have grazed on the strength of the state, having privatized state treasury companies for a political party. We see an example repeated by them after people started turning away from them, also after the embarrassing debate by Mateusz Morawiecki on Monday. They are sowing disinformation that Trzecia Droga has actually reached an agreement with PiS, and therefore is not an option for those who want change. I said this this morning on Wirtualna Polska and I want to reiterate very clearly - a coalition with PiS? Over my dead body. Please remember me very well and quote me clearly - stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in Radom.

13:38

Scheuring-Wielgus:

It's Strange and Very Unfair That Priests Pay Lump-Sum Taxes in the 21st Century
- Besides these two postulates, namely the liquidation of the Church Fund and the relocation of religious education to catechism rooms, we, as The Left, have much, much more: 18 postulates, including the taxation of the Church. Because it is quite a strange situation that in the 21st century, these people who have their little shops here, everyone pays taxes, and there is a certain institution called the Catholic Church, and there, priests pay lump-sum taxes [...]. So, every three months, from PLN 190 to PLN 1500, depending on what job they have in the church. This is very unfair because if we all pay taxes, then why shouldn't priests pay taxes – said Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus in Chełm.

13:41

Scheuring-Wielgus:

Provisions on Offending Religious Feelings and Defamation Should Be Abolished
- Another thing that we believe is very, very important is that two articles in the Penal Code should be abolished. One article on offending religious feelings, which very often affects artists for exhibiting their works. This article should be abolished. But also the article in the Penal Code that talks about defamation, which very often affects independent journalists – stated Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus in Chełm.

13:43

Scheuring-Wielgus:

The Left Has a Bill Proposal for a New Commission on Pedophilia Issues
- The last very important issue related to crimes in the Church. As you know, the State Commission for Pedophilia was established, which has effectively ceased to operate. It was indeed doing good work when Błażej Kmieciak was the chairman of this commission, and he did a lot of good work, but now this commission is stagnant and nothing is happening […]. We, as the Left, have a very good idea for this. We have also submitted a bill on this matter regarding a new commission for clarifying pedophilia issues, but it is a commission modeled on Australian, French, and German patterns – stated Joanna Scheuring Wielgus in Chełm.

13:45

Czarzasty:

We Delivered Poland's EU Accession, the Constitution, and the Best President
- We want to tell you why you should vote for The Left, what we are asking for. Because we deliver. All studies show that people believe in us. People think that when The Left says something, we are not the largest opposition party in Poland, but when The Left says something, they will deliver. The Left delivered Poland's accession to the EU at the time. The Left delivered the constitution at the time, which everyone is defending now. The Left delivered the best president in our country, Aleksander Kwaśniewski, who unequivocally supported us at the convention in Będzin and unequivocally supports us every day – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty in Chełm.

13:48

Hołownia:

We Will Free Polish Entrepreneurs from the Absurd Health Contribution Introduced by the 'Polish Deal'

- In the Senate, we will free Polish entrepreneurs from the absurd health contribution introduced by the 'Polish Deal', which is not a health contribution at all. We will free them from this burdensome obligation of paying VAT on invoices for which they have not been paid. An entrepreneur is not meant to be a creditor to the state if they have a dishonest counterparty or one who has fallen into trouble. We will introduce many – and we have spoken about this – of the 12 guarantees of the Third Way, many conveniences for those who would like to start or maintain their business activity - stated Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in Radom.

13:56

Czarzasty:

1.8 Million People in Poland Live in Extreme Poverty. Mr. Kaczyński, Sue Me for It, I'll Gladly Win the Lawsuit
- In Poland, 1.8 million people live in extreme poverty, meaning they have 600 PLN per month for maintenance per person. In Poland, 350,000 people live in extreme poverty, in Poland, 250,000 pensioners live in extreme poverty. To Mr. Kaczyński: sue me for this, I will gladly win the lawsuit against you – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in Chełm.

14:46

Morawiecki:

We Fixed the Budget That Was Leaking Money Like a Sieve
- Poland is one of the countries rebuilding its industrial position the fastest since COVID, according to Oxford Economics data. This means the level of industrial production in Poland [...] is the highest in Europe, one of the highest in the world [...]. Polish private capital is truly something great, something wonderful, because the profits from this capital remain in employees' accounts, through wages, salaries, and also through reinvestment of these profits - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during a visit to the Eko-Okna factory. - This will be my primary task, if the voters decide so, to attract as many investors as possible to smaller urban centers, I can promise you that [...]. One can destroy very quickly what has been built for a long time. Over 7, 8 years, great added value for our industry was created, new development prospects were created for many smaller centers through powerful budget investments. Every Pole can now ask themselves: why was this possible now, and not 10 years ago? The answer is very simple: we fixed the budget, which was leaking money like a sieve - he continued.

BGK President Invites to the 3W Congress: "Let's Meet on November 27th and 28th at Europe's Largest Conference for Experts in Water, Hydrogen, and Carbon Technologies"

14:58

Kaczyński:

A Choice Between Calm Development, Poles' Secure Future, and a War Between the Government and the President, and Within the Government

- Today we stand at a crossroads; all elections naturally lead to such situations, but in this case, the choice is, one might say, radical. It is a choice between further calm development, the secure future of Poles, and chaos, a war between the government and the president, and war within the government, and war with a powerful opposition party if we were in opposition, because they will not cease the aggression they began in 2005. The shock that Donald Tusk experienced then, losing the presidential election, seems to still be ongoing, and this is a matter of enormous importance, a matter that must be treated with utmost seriousness at all times - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Sulejówek.

14:59

Kaczyński on Tusk: Essentially a poor man, suited to be Prime Minister about as well as I am for the high jump

- Every vote for the opposition, and thus a vote for Civic Coalition, but also for another party, is in essence a vote for Donald Tusk, for his premiership. You saw him during the debate. Shaking, essentially a poor man, who is suited to be Prime Minister about as well as I am for the high jump - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Sulejówek.

15:00

Kaczyński:

Our opponents want to agree to forced relocation, to forcefully push illegal immigrants into Poland. Now, during jihad, this is simply an unbelievably intense threat.

- Court rulings, even those of courts that strongly dislike us, 4 rulings have unequivocally stated that what the European Union is planning today, and which Platforma agrees to, and PSL also agrees to, is simply forced relocation. Forced, I repeat, courts have confirmed this, courts which often issue strange rulings concerning us, but here the evidence is so obvious that they could not have acted otherwise - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Sulejówek.

- In short, we are dealing with a situation where they, meaning our opponents, want to agree to forced relocation, to forcefully push illegal immigrants into Poland. To further reduce our security, and in an exceptionally dangerous way. It has always been dangerous, especially now during jihad, this is simply an unbelievably intense threat - he added.

15:00

Kaczyński:

We're Making Rational Decisions, Including Having the Prime Minister Participate in TV Debates. It Was a Rational Decision, and It's Obvious They Urged Us Towards Irrational Ones.

- We make rational decisions, including the one for the prime minister to participate in this discussion on television. It was a rational decision, and it's obvious that we were urged towards irrational ones, but we will not make irrational decisions - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Sulejówek.

15:05

Kaczyński:

Our opponents are now resorting to anything, including brazen actions targeting seniors
Our opponents are now resorting to anything, including brazen actions targeting seniors. SMS messages are being circulated claiming that funerals will be free. This fits perfectly with their state of mind. They represent a group for whom respect for the elderly and the desire for them to live long lives is something completely alien; they come from the most diverse social backgrounds, from such a world they originate. That is why I want to state clearly, this is fake, this is a fraud, a brazen fraud. We want seniors to live long and well. As for funerals, that is a different matter, and this is exceptionally vile – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Sulejówek.

15:41

Tusk:

Over 10,000 visas issued to Palestinian and Lebanese citizens during 8 years of PiS rule. Over 300 out of 250,000 visa recipients suspected of terrorism

- I have received information, and I have no desire to exchange arguments with Prime Minister Morawiecki. Especially since it would essentially involve constantly correcting his lies, but sometimes it crosses very dangerous boundaries. When he says that after the opposition's victory, which seems, let me put it mildly, quite probable, the opposition will form a government and let Hamas terrorists into Poland. If I heard correctly, those were more or less Prime Minister Morawiecki's words – Donald Tusk said in Częstochowa.

- I want to present you with statistics, and these are official statistics that, it seems, have somehow escaped the attention of the media, but not the attention of migration experts. In two years, the PiS government issued entry visas to 2461 citizens of Palestine and Lebanon. From Lebanon, as you know, Hezbollah terrorism threatens Israel; from Palestine – Hamas. During the PiS government, it was nearly 10,000 visas, just for these two groups. We had already received signals earlier. It was also present in the media that among the 250,000 visas issued to citizens of Africa and Asia, special services of NATO countries noted over 300 individuals who are believed to pose a terrorist threat – he continued.

Morawiecki Confirms Over PLN 100 Million Funding for New Ruch Chorzów Stadium

- Today I come with the fulfillment of a promise. A representative of yours, Mr. Szymon, came to me at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister on behalf of the fans, and we discussed the fans' needs. And PiS keeps its word. Today we have a signed decision to transfer, practically soon, over 100 million for the construction of this beautiful new stadium. I know that the tender is to begin perhaps still this year, in December or January, in a few months. Very, very quickly - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the stadium of the Sports Club Ruch Chorzów.

16:33

Tusk:

The most important task is for the new government to immediately address security issues after October 15th
- These resignations that have been so loudly discussed. Mr. Minister Błaszczak's strange behavior. All of this means that security has truly become a key topic not only of this campaign, but also de facto one of the most important selection criteria – stated Donald Tusk in Częstochowa. - I want to assure you that my absolute priority. The most important task is for the new government to immediately address these security issues after October 15th. This concerns both visa issuance, admitting immigrants, border protection, and the situation in the Polish Army. Once again, I want to repeat what I say at every meeting. We all have trust, I think I can speak on behalf of almost all Polish women and men. We have trust in people in uniform – he added.

Tusk on Rumors of PiS Using the Military: 'Highly Unlikely, Though Knowing Kaczyński and Macierewicz, Various Dark Thoughts Must Be Going Through Their Heads'

- I find it hard to believe Kaczyński would dare. I'm not talking about what he dreams of, but about him daring to question election results by using force against citizens. It seems truly very unlikely to me, but the most important thing is to loudly and publicly warn against such a scenario, because I am convinced that you cannot do that to Poles. And Poland cannot be ruled through propaganda, batons, force, and lies. So, no. I don't think this threat is real, although knowing Kaczyński, Macierewicz, and these types of PiS politicians, various dark thoughts must certainly be going through their heads – Donald Tusk said in Częstochowa.

16:38

Duda:

A Difficult Situation at the Border. An Attempted Illegal Crossing Just Hours Ago
We are in Podlasie, right by the Polish-Belarusian border. On the section for which the Podlasie Border Guard detachment is responsible. As you can see, behind us is the barrier that has been erected here at the border in recent years, a barrier that protects, ensures the security of this border section, protects against the hybrid attack from Belarus, which has been ongoing for exactly two years, since October 2021. I am with Minister Kamiński, we are meeting here with Border Guard officers, with the police, with our soldiers. We are discussing the situation. It is currently not easy, literally a few hours ago there was an attempt to illegally cross the border, so the officers here are currently in the process of carrying out their duties - stated President Andrzej Duda during a press briefing. Unfortunately, the situation is normal, because these types of incidents are constant here, they show how necessary this barrier is. These are people who are prepared and sent to this border by Belarusian services, it is a coordinated action, evidently, as you can see, this border fence is 5 meters high, it is difficult to overcome, it requires specific skills, excellent physical condition, and additionally, equipment with which these people are equipped by the Belarusian side - PAD continued.

16:43

President Duda Encourages Participation in Referendum

- Next Sunday, a referendum will be held. I encourage everyone to participate in this referendum. Among other things, there will be a question about whether such a barrier should exist, there will be a question about our stance, what we think about the proposals being made within the EU to forcibly relocate migrants across Europe, meaning whether we would be forced to accept migrants in our country, to have them sent to us from other countries. Every Pole should be able to answer such a question. This opportunity exists, and I am glad that this referendum is being held, because the answer that we will give on Sunday will be an extremely important mandate for the future Polish government to speak in Brussels about what the voice of Polish society truly is on this matter - stated President Andrzej Duda during a press briefing.

16:52

Czarzasty:

Today I want to tell you on behalf of my team – we will win these elections

- There will be no complaining today. There will be no criticism today, today I want to tell you on behalf of my team – we will win these elections. Do you know why we will win these elections? Because we deliver, because when we conduct surveys, people say “we believe in the Left”. People say that before elections everyone is a social democrat, before elections everyone makes promises, but after elections all these slogans are always forgotten. The Left, when it is in government, and it will be, will deliver all of this. Do you know why we will deliver? Because we delivered Poland to the European Union once, we, the Left – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty during a meeting with the residents of Lublin.

16:52

Kamiński to Duda: Our Eastern Border is the Best-Guarded External Border of the EU
I want to tell you, Mr. President, and all our citizens, that our eastern border is the best-guarded external border of the EU. I have no doubt about it. And our Border Guard is one of the best, most modernly equipped, and strongest border formations in all of Europe. This is thanks, in part, to the modernization act that parliament adopted at the request of the Polish government, and which the President signed - stated Mariusz Kamiński during a press briefing.

17:02

Scheuring-Wielgus:

Open Your Eyes, Hearts, Smile, and Vote for the Left on October 15th

- Yesterday, Beata Szydło told voters, close your eyes, clench your teeth, and vote for PiS. I have a completely different task for you. Open your eyes, open your hearts, smile, and on October 15th, vote for the Left - said Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus during a meeting with residents of Lublin.

17:12

Scheuring-Wielgus:

A United Opposition Will Stop the Torrent of Money Currently Flowing So Rapidly
We believe that there should be no election campaigning in churches. We've had enough of it, and you surely see it in your own areas too. Now, Law and Justice has come up with a scheme across various dioceses, distributing so-called vouchers to churches, ostensibly for the renovation of historical monuments. These are things that have never happened before. We do not agree with this and will do everything in our power, and I know that a united opposition, consisting of The Left, Third Way, and Civic Coalition, will ensure that this stream of money, which is currently flowing very briskly and very rapidly, will eventually be curtailed, cut off, and simply cease to exist – said Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus during a meeting with the residents of Lublin.

17:15

Tusk:

The Ministry of Industry Will Be Headquartered Here in Katowice
- We told ourselves that Silesia can and must once again become the industrial heart not only of Poland, but of the entire region, the industrial heart of Europe. And therefore, we said that symbolically, here in Katowice, the Ministry of Industry will be headquartered, not only to emphasize the role of Silesia, but also to manage this next wave of modern industry on a national scale - Donald Tusk said in Katowice.

17:21

Biedroń:

The Left Will Be a Game Changer in These Elections. We Will Change the Direction Poland Has Been Going for the Last 8 Years

- In these elections, it will be decided by whoever comes in third in this race. First and second place have been fixed for 18 years, but whether we go east, towards Belarus and Russia, or west and become part of the Europe of our dreams, will be decided by the one who comes in third. I believe this, seeing the energy in this hall and having seen it every day on this campaign trail, that the Left will be a game changer in these elections. We will change the direction Poland has been going in for the last 8 years. We will take Poland back from PiS. We will create an open, modern, smiling Poland - said Robert Biedroń during a meeting with the residents of Lublin.

17:25

Zandberg:

Real Change Will Come When Poland Becomes a Country Where We Care for Each Other

- A vote for The Left is a vote for real change, and real change isn't just about changing who's in office, it's not just about one gentleman in a ministerial seat being replaced by another. Real change will come when Poland becomes a country where we care for each other, where there is more mutual help, more solidarity – not the grand, capital-S Solidarity they keep trumpeting at rallies, but the ordinary, small, everyday kind. Solidarity that means no extreme poverty. Today, well over a million people in Poland live in extreme poverty – stated Adrian Zandberg during a meeting with the residents of Lublin.

17:30

Tusk:

I Have This Program for Silesia on Paper; Tomorrow We Will Hold PiS and Morawiecki Accountable for What They Haven't Done
- I will not, like those governing today, travel around with some imitation checks. You know their method of buying sympathy and votes. Tomorrow morning, here, I will also explain in detail what this series of deceptions and lies looked like, presented by a Member of Parliament, apologies, it's not my fault, from this region, Mateusz Morawiecki. What he promised eight years ago for Silesia, I have this program for Silesia before my eyes, I have it on paper, and tomorrow we will hold PiS and Mateusz Morawiecki accountable, point by point, for what they have done, or rather, frankly, for what they have *not* done, because practically nothing from that program has been implemented - said Donald Tusk in Katowice.

17:32

Tusk:

I Will Never Betray Silesia, You Are As Close To Me As My Closest Family in Kashubia
- As a Kashubian, as a Pole, and as a European, I will tell you that I will never betray Silesia, because you are as close to me as my closest family up there in the north of Poland - Donald Tusk said in Katowice.

17:40

Tusk:

Poland Cannot Be Ruled by People Who Drive Our Mothers, Sisters, Wives, Daughters to Tears
- A team for whom women's rights are like a red flag to a bull cannot rule in Poland. Poland cannot be ruled by people who drive our female citizens, mothers, sisters, wives, daughters to tears, to despair, because it's not just about IVF. We will ensure IVF funding throughout Poland within the first 100 days, but it's also about the elementary safety of future Polish mothers - Donald Tusk said in Katowice.

18:02

Tusk on Morawiecki: The Man Who Accidentally Became Prime Minister by Kaczyński's Whim, a De Facto Pocket Dictator
- Morawiecki, just a dozen hours ago, allowed himself another brazen lie of the type: if KO wins, Hamas will enter Poland. That's the idea that popped into his head. Setting aside what must be going on in the head of someone who comes up with such ideas during a campaign, it's not just a reason to laugh at him at the end of the day [...], but when I hear such words, I immediately want to check the sources on the real threat in Poland, for example, from terrorism - said Donald Tusk in Katowice. - We checked one table thoroughly - I repeat: official data from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - how many people Morawiecki, Kaczyński, and his team gifted Polish visas to for money from Palestine and Lebanon. Regarding Palestine, that's the Hamas Morawiecki is scaring us with. Lebanon is Hezbollah [...]. Do you know that he is unable to answer the question of who received these visas? Why, during their term, it was close to 10,000 visas, and in the first half of this year alone, close to 700 visas for Palestinians and Lebanese? - he continued. - I am the last person to say that a Lebanese person is a terrorist or a Palestinian is a terrorist. But by what right does a man who accidentally became prime minister, by the whim of Kaczyński, the de facto ruler, the de facto pocket dictator. By what right does a person who heads a government that has lost all control over the Polish border and Polish territory. They are incapable of controlling anything - he continued.

18:11

Tusk:

If You Want to Be in the European Union, You Cannot Vote for PiS
- They blocked [EU funds] because they don't want to be in the European Union. Why are they bringing in migrants by the thousands, hundreds of thousands, and then letting some of them travel further west? Because in the end, it will mean blocking our borders, it's already starting. So they really want us to see in Poland in a few weeks, in a few months: there are no European funds, the borders are controlled again, so what good is the Union to us? And the next step will be leaving the European Union - Donald Tusk said in Katowice.

- I implore you, if you truly want us to be in the European Union, then choose someone, it doesn't have to be Tusk, it doesn't have to be Civic Coalition candidates, if you have a different view, please do, but do not vote for PiS. Because if you want to be in the European Union, you cannot vote for PiS - he continued.

18:21

Tusk:

A Solid Level of Trust Was Built Within the Opposition. I Guarantee We Will Cooperate Well After Winning the Elections, Without Squabbles
- For many, many months, I spoke about the need for the best possible cooperation on the opposition side. A solid level of trust has been built. I know well today that after winning the elections, we will cooperate well together. I guarantee you this, without squabbles, without any foolish, drawn-out negotiations – said Donald Tusk in Katowice.

18:27

Morawiecki on Tusk: An Engine Sputtering on its Last Legs. A Man Washed Out of All Ideas, Ideals, Someone Who Merely Demands Power

- When I saw this Tusk, who was so internally crumpled, so very nervous, just like his shirt, actually, a bit crumpled, it reminded me of a recording from our youth, some of you here, my own, an engine sputtering on its last legs. Do you remember? Budka Suflera, I think. That was precisely an engine sputtering on its last legs, a man washed out of all ideas, ideals, simply someone who merely demands power. He wants power for power's sake, in order to rule as before, on behalf of certain selected social groups. We cannot allow this, because our homeland is entering a very critical turning point – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Rybnik.

18:28

Tusk:

You Don't Need to Be a Genius to Understand the Winner's Bonus. By Voting for Civic Coalition, You'll Vote to Defeat PiS
- Victory is within reach. In all polls, PiS has a lead over Civic Coalition of 1 to 4 points. I also know how this trend looks, that it is currently intersecting. And I also know, you don't need to be a genius to understand what bonus the winner receives. So I ask all of you, without exception – by voting for Civic Coalition, you will vote for victory, for defeating PiS - said Donald Tusk in Katowice.

18:35

Morawiecki:

One Hundred Percent We Were Right, the Migration Pact Entails Forced Illegal Immigration

- Dear compatriots, tomorrow you will see a foretaste of what Civic Platform prepared and is preparing for you. They want to, and they confirmed it, otherwise they would have allowed me to speak in electoral mode, and we won in courts that are against us. This means we were right by 110%. One hundred percent we were right, the migration pact entails forced illegal immigration - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Rybnik.

18:45

Morawiecki:

Let's not allow his monuments to be torn down or his good name destroyed. This is what PO wants to do. Destroy the good name of John Paul II.

- We have a compatriot who I can say is the most outstanding person in the history of the world. Show me 10 people more important than him, who have had a positive influence on the fate of the world like he did. We can be proud of him, proud and only proud. Let's not allow his monuments to be torn down or his good name destroyed. This is what PO wants to do. Destroy the good name of John Paul II - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Rybnik.

18:46

Morawiecki:

Gazeta Wyborcza, TVN, Onet, Wirtualna Polska – All Tusk's Propaganda Mouthpieces

What 'Gazeta Wyborcza', TVN, Onet, Wirtualna Polska are doing – these are all Tusk's propaganda mouthpieces. Beware, compatriots, of all these Urban-style, Goebbels-style various newspaper publications that serve only Tusk, so that things remain as they were, so that we return to that Poland – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Rybnik.

18:52

Morawiecki:

We Will Implement Seniority Pensions Immediately After the Election

- We will implement them [seniority pensions] immediately after the election. But above all, in this din, chaos, which our political competitors are creating, in this shouting, yelling, hatred that is poured out from their various appearances, speeches, in all of this, there is one fundamental method. They want us to be afraid, to be frightened - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Rybnik.

18:54

Morawiecki:

Tusk is the biggest coward

- Let them be afraid; Tusk is the biggest coward. When President Kaczyński went to help Georgia, and truly saved Georgia then, where was Tusk, who was the Prime Minister at the time? Did he go to Georgia? Of course not. He chickened out. Or later, in 2013, 2014, when Georgia attacked Ukraine, did Tusk go to Kyiv then? I don't know, I couldn't find any information about it on the internet. Maybe I searched poorly. But President Kaczyński went to Kyiv then - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Rybnik.

18:59

Morawiecki:

We Are and Will Remain in the EU, But We Won't Let Them Spit in Our Face, and That Hurts Them

- Of course, we are in the EU, we will be in the EU, but we will not let them spit on our shoes. We will not let them spit in our face, and that hurts them – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Rybnik.

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

A Vote for the Third Way is Becoming the Most Valuable, Most Accurate Today. Because It's Either the Third Way or PiS's Third Term
- My dear friends, this is the final stretch. This is the time when we will decide what Poland will be like. When we will decide which direction we are going. We feel the wind of change. It has been very clear for several weeks now that the Third Way will decide what Poland will be like. A vote for the Third Way is becoming the most valuable, most accurate today. Because it's either the Third Way or PiS's third term – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Pałesznica. - The choice, in my opinion, is very simple. We choose the Third Way because we want change, we want a better Poland, we want normality. Enough quarrels, moving forward – this is the slogan that defines us. It united us with Szymon Hołownia. It united us on this common path to moving towards the future. Not looking back, not reliving disputes from the past, but moving forward. This is our dream, this is our ambition, this is what we strive for in politics – he continued.

19:09

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

We Say No to Handouts, No to Waste, No to Indebting Future Generations, and No to False Prescriptions
- The Third Way is the path that leads to victory, TD is the path that leads to better education. To a point where parents and children don't sit up at night doing homework, but can pursue their passions together. My dear friends, family PIT, an incredibly important matter, demographic change. Joint tax settlement for parents and children. Large families, with the Large Family Card, which we introduced, and which I authored in a nationwide program. This is the support we need today. This is betting on real demographics – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Pałesznica. - We strongly focus in our program on entrepreneurs, on people of hard work, on active people. Why? Because we say: enough of handouts, enough of waste, enough of indebting future generations, and enough of false prescriptions. We've had enough of what has been done over 8 years – he continued.

19:16

Hołownia:

Everyone Said 'One List, Unite'. Who United? We Formed the Only Coalition on the Polish Stage
- Look at what happened with these opposition unification projects. Everyone said: one list, unite this way or that way. Who united? We formed the only coalition on the Polish stage. We gave people a choice, because if you only have a choice between one and the other option, you don't have a choice. A choice appears when you have three options and you can decide one way or the other. You can reject something, accept something – stated Szymon Hołownia in Pałeszcnica. - We are a movement, a coalition that offers completely new things on this stage, even though PSL is a party with great experience. We are just building ours in politics with such a strong forward momentum, with social activism. We are simply angry citizens who, during my presidential campaign, said: it cannot go on like this anymore, we need to get together and do it differently – he continued.

Czarzasty on Soldier Pay Raises: There Is No Other Option, 20% Minimum
- I have reason to believe that when it comes to security principles, after what has been happening in the Polish army recently, these words about security are not true. I believe so. [...] There are 163,000 soldiers in Poland, and you know that 35,000 soldiers have left since 2020? [...] We are buying - and rightly so - a lot of armament. Who will operate this armament if 35,000 people have left the army - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty in conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News. - There is no other possibility at all [...] we will increase [soldiers' salaries] by a minimum of 20% - he continued.

20:03

Czarzasty on the Prime Minister's Post: Tusk's Chances Are Huge
- A vote for the Left is a vote for the formation of a new government. When it comes to the Prime Minister, there should be two principles. Firstly, it will be a coalition government, and therefore the Prime Minister's name needs to be discussed. Secondly, concerning Donald Tusk's chances, they are huge, because he is the leader of the largest opposition party - Włodzimierz Czarzasty said in Polsat News. - We will not quarrel over any personal matters - he continued.

President Duda's Address: Cooperation Between President and Future Government is Crucial; We Cannot Afford Squabbles, Chaos, or Mayhem

- Today, democracy in Poland is stronger than ever. Poles know that the future of our Homeland depends on their votes. The high voter turnout is an expression of this conviction. I have appealed for this many times. And I am proud that four years ago, nearly 62% of eligible voters participated in the parliamentary elections – the highest in 30 years, and three years ago, in the presidential elections, over 68% of eligible voters cast their ballots. Such turnout, such citizen engagement, provides an exceptionally strong mandate to lead Polish affairs - stated President Andrzej Duda in his address.

- Therefore, I deeply believe that these elections will also be marked by record turnout, and that we will manage to improve the result from four years ago. And the new parliament will have a strong mandate to form a stable government that will effectively represent the interests of Poland and Poles! It is important that the cooperation between the president and the future government is efficient and effective. We cannot afford squabbles, bickering, and chaos today - emphasized PAD. Below is the full text of the speech.

*****

On Sunday, we will decide what Poland will look like. Generations of Poles have fought to be able to decide for themselves on the most important matters for our Homeland. Today, this is our right and privilege. Therefore, participating in the elections for the Sejm and Senate, choosing our representatives, is incredibly important!

It is We, the citizens of the Republic, who hold the power to jointly shape the policy of our Homeland. A vote cast in an election is not only an expression of our convictions and the values we hold, but also a designation of the direction in which Poland should develop.

Today, we have different visions of development to choose from. Our decisions will impact not only the future of our country but also the future of our families, our children, and ourselves. Let us remember this as we head to the polling station. Let us choose wisely and responsibly!

Alongside the parliamentary elections, a nationwide referendum will also be held. I strongly encourage you to express your opinion on matters of utmost importance concerning our security, economic, and social policy.

It is Poles who should decide on the most crucial matters for our Homeland! The referendum result will give the ruling authorities a strong legitimacy to unequivocally demonstrate on the international stage the will of Polish society on key issues. It will also allow them to firmly say "no" when necessary. Because it is the will of Poles that must always have decisive significance in matters that concern us!

We live in dangerous times that present our Homeland with a series of serious challenges. The past few days have reminded us of this with full force once again. Therefore, Poland's security is an absolutely fundamental matter. The most important one.

In these difficult times, Poland is passing the test. We showed this, as a state and society, after the Russian aggression against Ukraine. We also showed this when we repelled the hybrid attack on our eastern border, the border of the European Union. We are also showing this in recent days, as we are efficiently evacuating our citizens from the war-torn Middle East. We are held up as an example, and other countries are asking us for help in evacuating their citizens. Because Poland never leaves its citizens alone!

For all of this, I had the opportunity today to once again thank our soldiers and officers who serve on our eastern border. To thank them and assure them of the constant support from the Polish state. Their service deserves the highest respect and recognition!

Today, democracy in Poland is stronger than ever. Such turnout, such citizen engagement, provides an exceptionally strong mandate to lead Polish affairs.

Therefore, I deeply believe that these elections will also be marked by record turnout, and that we will manage to improve the result from four years ago. And the new parliament will have a strong mandate to form a stable government that will effectively represent the interests of Poland and Poles! It is important that the cooperation between the president and the future government is efficient and effective. We cannot afford squabbles, bickering, and chaos today.

Let's go to the polls. Let's encourage family, friends, and acquaintances. Regardless of whether someone lives in the countryside, a small, medium, or large city. Poland is one, and every citizen's vote is equally important! This is the essence of democracy! Poland is our common home, and it depends on us what it will look like!

Czarzasty to Kaczyński: Step outside without police, without cavalry
- Mr. Kaczyński, step outside without police, without cavalry, without all those wonders, and no one will kill you. Today I had a meeting in Chełm, and during that meeting 100-200 people approached us, we received applause - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty on Polsat News.

20:12

Czarzasty:

There's Something Worse Than PiS
- There is something worse than the Law and Justice party. That is Confederation. That is Poland's exit from the European Union. That is an absolute lack of respect for Polish women. [...] The Left will never enter into any alliance with Confederation - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty on Polsat News.

Marshal Grodzki in Address: 'We Are Going to the Elections Also to Decide Whether We Want to Remain in the European Union'
This Sunday, we are going to the elections also to decide whether we want to remain in the European Union. This is a fundamentally important matter because, as we all see, for several years now our country has been placed by those in power on a path of conflict with the Community. For nearly a thousand days, enormous funds from the National Reconstruction Plan for the development of our country and the growth of our prosperity have been blocked by the current government. And the pro-government press, supporting such a policy, is already openly calling for our homeland to leave the Union – stated Tomasz Grodzki in his address. - Therefore, these elections are so important, as they will decide for years whether we will remain in the European Union and regain our rightful place in the Western community, or whether we will increasingly strive towards Eastern dictatorships, with dramatic consequences for us all. And it is precisely the EU member states that constitute the majority of countries forming NATO. Thus, our withdrawal from the European Union would also dramatically weaken our security – both economic and military – added the Marshal of the Senate. Below is the full text of the address. ***** This coming Sunday, as citizens of the Republic of Poland, we will jointly decide the future of our beloved Homeland. I deeply believe that each of us wants the best for Poland. We want it to be a good and friendly home for us, for our children and grandchildren. A prosperous, free, and proud country, where every Polish woman and every Polish man enjoy mutual respect, freedom, and personal happiness. While a war is being waged beyond our eastern border, and new conflicts are constantly erupting in the world, we want Poland to be safe. Therefore, my greatest concern is raised by the resignation of the most important commanders of the Polish army, who – brought up in the tradition of the army's apolitical nature – clearly had enough of attempts to change the civilian control over the army, enshrined in the Constitution, into party control, subordinate to one political option. And although for a long time we have been fed a propaganda of success, how strong, united, and ready we are, the reality is that a Russian missile, capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, flew across half of Poland, all the way to Bydgoszcz. Fortunately, it carried not a warhead, but seventy kilograms of concrete. The Minister of National Defence tried to hide this dangerous incident, and then blamed the army and its commanders for everything. The Polish army, the Polish uniform, the Polish soldier are sacred to all of us and should be treated with due respect. And today – as we all see – they are being used for the immediate political purposes of the ruling party. It is therefore not surprising that high-ranking commanders simply had enough. And this is not only with the army. The current government has systematically devastated all institutions of the democratic state over the past eight years, starting from the Constitutional Tribunal, through the Supreme Court, the prosecutor's office, the police, free media, to the Sejm, where the ruling majority has become, in effect, a thoughtless voting machine. We are tired of all this. Inflation, fuel shortages, rising prices, ever-longer queues for doctors, and the devastation of our children's education. It is clear that almost everything this government touches, it spoils. It cannot go on like this. It's time for change. We all feel it – at home, on the streets, at work. This is also confirmed by numerous opinion polls, indicating that the vast majority of us want a breakthrough. The vast majority of Polish women and men – from various political options – are convinced that this simply cannot continue. Therefore, I wish to appeal to you to participate in the elections. This is a celebration of democracy that should select the best possible representation of the Nation in parliament. Regardless of your personal preferences, I appeal to you to choose candidates for whom the Constitution is the most important act, who respect democracy, the rule of law, the rights of minorities, people with disabilities, are full of respect for women, understand the need for special care for our children and seniors, and that the foundation of our Homeland's prosperity and development is our presence and rightful position in NATO, the European Union, and the community of democratic states of the free world. And the pro-government press, supporting such a policy, is already openly calling for our homeland to leave the Union. Therefore, these elections are so important, as they will decide for years whether we will remain in the European Union and regain our rightful place in the Western community, or whether we will increasingly strive towards Eastern dictatorships, with dramatic consequences for us all. And it is precisely the EU member states that constitute the majority of countries forming NATO. Thus, our withdrawal from the European Union would also dramatically weaken our security – both economic and military. Dear Compatriots, freedom, security, and national accord will not come on their own. They require our effort. And they depend on us. On whether each of us votes on Sunday for democracy and normality to triumph, for women's rights to be respected again, and for our children and grandchildren to live in an open, tolerant, and safe country. Let's do it for them! Let's go to the elections so that Poland, our Homeland, can once again be Poland for everyone. It's time for a happy Poland! Photo: Chancellery of the Senate

I believe President Duda will cooperate with the opposition government once he sees it's the will of the majority of Poles

- Firstly, President Duda, and I have said this very openly, will change his attitude after the elections when he sees what the will of the majority of Poles is. I think he will do it, whether out of caution or democratic decency, it doesn't matter. But he himself announced that just as he followed the resolutions of the Sejm, meaning not the law but the political will of the Sejm, at a time when PiS had a majority, and this concerned, among other things, the Constitutional Tribunal. He will also want to respect the will of the new parliamentary majority, and we will hold him to his word - said Donald Tusk in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.

- But please believe me, I say this as an experienced politician, and I have seen various political situations all over the world - we will not be deceived. If we receive a mandate from the people, and I deeply believe we will, we will also have a sense of strength and agency, and that changes everything – he continued.

We Will Find Ways to Counter a Presidential Veto, but I Have a Gut Feeling Opposition Will Be Able to Override It After the Elections

- We will also find ways so that a potential presidential veto will not be effective, so to speak. We will act in accordance with the law, but in a tough and unequivocal manner, and I am not a gambler. I don't want to bet, but you know what. Something tells me, my heart tells me today, that most likely when the official results are announced, we will see that today's opposition will have the ability to override a presidential veto. This scenario really cannot be ruled out. It seems quite probable to me today – stated Donald Tusk on TVN24.

I want to tell you there will be no problem forming a KO-Lewica-TD government
- It depends on President Duda. Because he, of course, has the privilege and constitutional duty to designate a person and a party to undertake the formation of a new government. Well, one way or another, the parliamentary majority will ultimately decide, and we will discuss this within KO (...) And that is of course TD and Lewica. Tested partners, we have agreed on priorities together. I want to tell you, and this is very serious. There will be no problem forming a KO-Lewica-TD government – Donald Tusk said on TVN24.

All Polls Say One Thing – On Sunday Evening, Poland Will Bid Farewell to PiS and Kaczynski
What I've believed in for months, difficult at first, is becoming a reality before our very eyes, and I fervently believe that this Sunday, and this evening when the preliminary results are announced, will be one of the most beautiful days in Polish democracy, because people, regardless of their political sympathies and antipathies, regardless of where they live, whether they are in Silesia or Pomerania, in Warsaw, Mazovia, or Podlasie, a clear majority of Poles want change, because the current situation in Poland is truly difficult to bear for an ever-larger group of people. I have the impression that on Sunday, we will all feel a great relief and sense that breath of fresh air – stated Donald Tusk in an interview with Anita Werner on the program “Fakty po faktach” on TVN24. - All the polls today, and there have been a lot of them, they all, without exception, in varying proportions, say one thing: on Sunday evening, Poland will bid farewell to PiS and President Kaczynski – he added.

The Warning Against PiS - This is the Message That Should Reach All Poles

- The campaign is, on one hand, about explaining what is going wrong in Poland under PiS rule. In these final days, I emphasize and appeal once again to all Polish women and men, regardless of party affiliation. If you want Poland to remain in the European Union, you cannot vote for PiS, because Kaczyński and PiS have a plan, and they are implementing it quite consistently and precisely: to lead Poland out of the European Union. People sometimes don't believe this because it seems so absurd, but unfortunately, we have more and more evidence every day of what their plan is. So, as a warning against PiS, this is the message that should reach all Polish women and men - stated Donald Tusk on TVN24.

Tusk:

What struck me upon my return to Polish politics was apathy and a disbelief in victory on the opposition's side

- What struck me upon my return to Polish politics was the apathy and such a disbelief in victory on the opposition's side and on the side of ordinary people, not politicians; a feeling that lies somehow triumph, that we are powerless against what PiS has done, whether to public media, or to the dignity of various minorities, or to women's rights. This struck me: that at certain pivotal moments, there was essentially a lack of readiness to speak out fully about what is wrong - Donald Tusk stated on TVN24.

- This is what distinguishes today's Poland, with its thousands of people at every meeting, from the one I saw after returning from Brussels. People were demoralized, unsure of their convictions. This hope has reawakened; everyone tells me that. I have great satisfaction that I have a humble part in this, that decent, honest people, honest Polish women, honest Polish men have believed in their strength anew - he added.

Kamiński on Holland's Film: "It Was Consciously Released at This Time, It Fits the Election Campaign"
This is [Holland's] film, which is a testament to the director's political views. She is associated with the opposition; she is a certain authority for our political opposition. She has presented, it's hard even to call it an artistic vision, a certain deceitful scenario of events relating to what is happening here and now. This is not some artistic vision, detached from current reality, by a sensitive lady who made a film on this subject. This film was consciously released at this time; it fits the election campaign. Of course, we are dealing here, setting aside the director herself, with people who are precisely complaining about this "cruel" government – stated Mariusz Kamiński on the TVP Info program "Gość Wiadomości".

Kamiński:

Our government is decisive, effective, and our officers are selflessly fulfilling their duties to the country

- Our government is decisive in action, effective, and our officers are selflessly fulfilling their duties to the country. They are faithful to the oath they have taken to protect the security of our nation, even at the risk of their own health and lives - stated Mariusz Kamiński on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości" program.

Kamiński:

There is a need to extend border controls with Slovakia. We will effectively block the Balkan route.
- There is such a need [to extend temporary controls on the border with Slovakia]. The Balkan route, which has become very active in recent months, is a real route. One of the branches of this route goes through Slovakia and Poland towards Western Europe. We diagnosed this problem; initially, there were intensive controls, about 550 illegal migrants were detained and returned to Slovakia. Then we introduced temporary border control, restoring it for 10 days according to procedure [...], now we are extending it [...] for another 20 days - said Mariusz Kamiński in "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info. - We will effectively block the Balkan route. This is not an external border of the European Union [...], but we see that other countries in the region are not coping with it. We are doing our part, we will do our part, as always, effectively - he continued.

We Achieved the Detention of 46 Agents of Russian and Belarusian Special Services and the Expulsion of 55 Russian Special Service Officers

- During our time in government, we achieved the detention of 46 agents of Russian and Belarusian special services, and we also achieved the expulsion of 55 Russian special service officers who were operating within our country using political immunity, employed at the Russian Embassy in Warsaw. These were regular special service officers identified by our services - stated Mariusz Kamiński on the program "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info.

Kamiński:

Since the beginning of the year, we have recorded around 24,000 attempts to illegally cross the border with Belarus
- The official data we have, announced by the Border Guard, are fully credible and correspond to what is happening on the [Polish-Belarusian] border. There is tension, tension is escalating, pressure is building, artificially provoked by Lukashenko's regime. We currently have approximately 24,000 attempts to illegally cross the border since the beginning of the year - said Mariusz Kamiński on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".
