"I am very determined to get to the bottom of this matter, regardless of who these findings concern. We have, as I said, a pre-announced NIK (Supreme Audit Office) inspection, we have a prosecutor currently at the Southern Hospital, we have an audit commissioned by [...] the Warsaw local government" - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in a conversation with journalists in Brussels.

"I want to emphasize very clearly that we have these three dimensions, and in all these three matters, I will be truly determined and ruthless. Firstly, the actions of the young doctor" - he continued.

"Wherever there is a violation of the law, there will be not only legal but also political consequences. It is not my job to guess who, if anyone, used this doctor's services, who broke the law, but if such facts occur, there will also be political consequences" - he went on to say.

"The third matter is systemic. The third matter, meaning to avoid this type of incident in other hospitals" - he stressed.
