"You Have a Heart on the Left" – this is the title of the Left convention, which will begin the final week of the election campaign at 12:00 PM in Będzin. The special guest of the convention will be President Aleksander Kwaśniewski, who in his speech will urge people to vote in the elections and explain why it is worth casting a vote for the Left. The key programmatic points of the Left will be recalled by its leaders. Eighth Edition of the Strategic Investment Program Concluded. Funding Granted to 2876 Local Governments and JST Associations
The results of the eighth edition of the Strategic Investment Program are now known. All local government units (JST) and JST associations in the country were eligible to submit applications for investment co-financing. The total co-financing granted amounts to nearly PLN 26 billion for the implementation of almost 5,200 projects.
Most funds were allocated to road infrastructure investments (PLN 11.1 billion), water and sewage infrastructure (PLN 4.2 billion), and sports infrastructure (PLN 2.4 billion). The results of the eighth edition of the Strategic Investment Program are available on the website of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. Local government officials will also find co-financing information in the Polski Ład Application. The Strategic Investment Program is a government program to support investments implemented by local government units. It was launched in 2021 to stimulate public investment and the economy affected by the economic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic. Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) is the operator of the Strategic Investment Program – it received applications through the Polski Ład application and will disburse funds from the program. Applications submitted by local governments were analyzed by the committee for program support operating at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
