Szefernaker:

Czechs Decided to Close the Border with Slovakia a Few Hours After Poland's Decision, and There Are No Elections There
- Both Germany, the Czech Republic, and Poland are taking additional actions at the same moment. In recent months, the Balkan route has been very active, with one branch leading through Slovakia. Illegal migration through Slovakia and Poland, and through Slovakia and the Czech Republic to Germany, has increased dramatically. It has increased by almost 1000% in recent months - said Paweł Szefernaker in the "Conversation at 7:00 AM" on RMF FM. - The Czechs did the same. A few hours after Poland's decision, the Czechs decided to close the border with Slovakia, and there are no elections there - he continued.

07:44

Szefernaker:

All countries in our region want to block the Balkan route
- We informed Slovakia, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Germany about the decision, as we cooperate with these countries in the region. In accordance with the Schengen Code, the European Commission was also informed - said Paweł Szefernaker on RMF FM. - I think Germany counted on such decisions, because the largest number of people reach Germany via this route. Therefore, in order to cut off this route now, so that illegal migrants do not reach Northern Europe, all countries that care about this have wanted to block this Slovak route - he continued.

Morawiecki in a video clip: Today, Tusk's party is pushing the migration pact through the EP. We will not allow it

- Today, Tusk's party is pushing the migration pact through the EP, which means forced relocation of immigrants. The effect of Tusk's European party's plan will be to bring danger upon Poles, leading to the forced relocation of thousands of immigrants. First, they will forcibly divide them among countries, and only then will they check who these people are. After all, PO has done this once before. In 2015, they agreed to accept thousands of illegal immigrants. And now Tusk's party is in favor of this in the EP. We will not allow it. We said "veto" in 2018 and we will repeat it now - says Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in a PiS clip published on social media.

Szefernaker on the Poręba-Bielan Discussion: Every Family Has Its Squabbles
- There are no quarrels, sometimes there are exchanges of views. This is natural, every family has its squabbles, but we are going as one team, one squad, and fighting for every vote - said Paweł Szefernaker on RMF FM when asked about the quarrel between Tomasz Poręba and Adam Bielan.

08:00

Szefernaker:

Firefighters called out for the third time in Darłowo municipality due to frustrated individuals burning hay bales with my election banner
- In the last few days, within just one municipality, Darłowo, the fire department has had to intervene at night for the third time because some frustrated individuals, who are conducting such an anti-government hate campaign, burned hay bales on which my election banner was hung. This is crossing new boundaries; buildings are located quite close by, and a fire could have spread to places where people live. [...] A few days ago, the matter was reported [to the police] in the first two cases – said Paweł Szefernaker on RMF FM.

08:10

Kamiński:

The FSB Agreement Was Unprecedented. Who Approved It? The Prime Minister Is Always Responsible

- The agreement with the FSB was unprecedented. Indeed, a few years ago I familiarized myself with the content of this agreement, and I approached it with great disbelief that something like this could actually have been signed. Who approved it? The prime minister is always responsible. It is the prime minister who grants consent for special services to sign international cooperation agreements. The language was crude, it was evident that it was a translation from Russian, and it was known that the authors of the text were Russians - stated Mariusz Kamiński on the program "Morning of Polish Radio 24".

- If further actions had followed the agreement with the FSB, it would have been treason to Poland and an obvious violation of our commitments to NATO - he added.

08:22

Kamiński:

I Expect Tusk's Reaction. Let Him Justify Why He Agreed to an Agreement with Russia of This Content

- I would expect a reaction from Donald Tusk. Let him justify, he was the prime minister, he took responsibility, he agreed in writing, why he agreed to an agreement [with Russia] of this content. Where the Polish side undertook an obligation that it would combat subversive forces of third countries on the territory of the Russian Federation - stated Mariusz Kamiński on the program "Poranek Polskiego Radia 24".

08:25

Wipler on PiS Proposal: Absolute Populism
This is absolute populism [the driving license proposal]. They will soon have a "everything for free" program, winking while doing it, but it's clear who will pay for it. Those who are currently working and paying taxes will pay for all these things through taxes. There is nothing free in any state in the world – stated Przemysław Wipler in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet.

08:25

Wipler on Sejm Marshal Election: If there's a Stalemate, We Won't Support Anyone But Our Candidate for the Sejm Presidium
We don't know who will be prime minister. The voters will decide that. Even sooner than we choose a prime minister, there's, for example, the election of the Sejm Marshal. If there's a stalemate, we will not support anyone other than our candidate for the Sejm Presidium, and depending on whether we are the deciding vote or if the marshal can be appointed without us, or if we will simply be a large club that only has a deputy marshal, that will determine who and what our candidate will become – stated Przemysław Wipler in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet.

08:26

Zgorzelski on the Prime Minister's New Spot: Morawiecki Has Clung to This Topic, Showing He Truly Has Nothing Else to Talk About in the Election Campaign
There are still so many months ahead of us until any final decision [on the migration pact], that the fact that Prime Minister Morawiecki has clung to this topic shows that, in reality, there is nothing else to talk about or ask about in the election campaign. This is not an agenda today that would engage or be able to interest Poles in anything, as the decision is still a long way off – stated Piotr Zgorzelski in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on the program “Graffiti” on Polsat News. What Prime Minister Morawiecki is doing today, anticipating and believing that we, as parliamentarians, will behave one way or another towards the European Parliament, is solely an election campaign – he added.

08:26

Wipler:

Bosak is Our Candidate for Marshal of the Sejm

- An experienced parliamentarian, a man of dialogue, well-liked, likeable, who reaches beyond the Confederation's electorate with his message. His name is Krzysztof Bosak [Confederation's candidate for Marshal of the Sejm] - stated Przemysław Wipler on Radio Zet.

08:27

Zgorzelski:

15% is what we want to fight for

- There is normal cooperation [between PSL and Polska 2050], good cooperation, we got to know each other, we liked each other, and we want to achieve a good result. 15% is what we want to fight for - stated Piotr Zgorzelski on Polsat News.

08:28

Wipler:

I Know How to Inflate Polls, I Once Knew How to Secure a 19% Poll for the Yet-to-Exist Republican Association

- I myself once said that I only believe in polls for which I paid myself. I know how to inflate polls, I once knew how to secure a 19% poll for the yet-to-exist Republican association. I know how sometimes someone wants to inflate someone so they don't grow naturally, then someone is corrected, cut down, and their numbers are lowered – stated Przemysław Wipler on Radio Zet.

08:47

Bochenek on SKW Cooperation with FSB: Outrageous. It Was Another Blow to the Foundations of Our Security, Just Like Tusk's Treacherous Line on the Vistula
- This is, of course, an outrageous and frankly scandalous decision. Cooperation with Russian special services, which have a rather strong communist history, with many former KGB agents working there. Of course, services that infiltrate various states, that have participated in various coups, that have inspired and fueled them in many countries, this is of course very outrageous, especially since we are members of the North Atlantic Alliance, and within that cooperation, as indicated by the information released yesterday, NATO-related information was to be shared with Russian agents – said Rafał Bochenek in an interview with Grzegorz Jankowski on PR1’s “Sygnały dnia”. - This is very outrageous, it was another blow to the foundations of our security, just like Tusk's treacherous line on the Vistula previously – he continued. - Ambassador [Mark Brzezinski] has often spoken out on trivial matters, so I am curious about his stance and assessment of this situation now. Because it truly shows Donald Tusk's attitude towards Moscow, towards Putin, how he built relations with them. The question is whether the United States was even aware of this. Did they have any knowledge of the type of documents that were being developed by the PO administration – he continued.

08:50

Wipler:

The Prime Minister Cannot Be From Civic Platform or Law and Justice

- The Prime Minister cannot be from Civic Platform or Law and Justice. This is clear and unambiguous for us - stated Przemysław Wipler on Radio Zet.

08:55

Wipler:

We Believe Quick, New Elections Will Be Necessary
We believe that quick, new elections will be necessary, and ones in which TVP doesn't pull the same stunt it did over the last 2 years, meaning since the beginning of this year, we've been the only party with a nationwide committee and have had zero hours, zero minutes, zero seconds on TVP. This is political banditry - stated Przemysław Wipler on Radio Zet.

08:56

Bochenek on the Solidarity Mechanism: It's Coercion. Today's PO Politicians Beautifully Name It, Using the Nice-Sounding Word 'Solidarity' to Camouflage Their Real Intentions
- This is not just a debate, this is the commencement of work and, in fact, a continuation of the work that began in the spring on the migration pact. On the migration pact, which is intended to lead to EU states, member states, being obliged to relocate illegal arrivals in their countries. Well, we absolutely do not agree to that – stated Rafał Bochenek on PR1. - PO politicians have been talking for several days about Poland needing to participate in the so-called, pay attention, solidarity mechanism. Ms. Gelert, Mr. Nitras at a press conference, that somehow migrants need to be helped here, the EU also needs to fight this, and therefore these solidarity mechanisms should be taken into account. What does this mean? Coercion, relocation coercion, they beautifully name it today, loftily, using the nice-sounding word 'solidarity' to mask, to camouflage their real intentions – he continued. - A vote for any of these parties, the opposition parties, is an opening of our borders precisely for illegal migration – he added.

08:58

Bochenek:

I Believe We Will Win, That Poles Are Wise and Will Cut Themselves Off from the Lies of Private Media Supporting Civic Platform
- I believe that we will win. I believe that Poles are wise, that when they cut themselves off from the lies that flow from some private media, which support Civic Platform, when they sit down calmly at home, analyze the pros and cons of who to vote for, conduct such a SWOT analysis, then I think the majority of Poles will come to the conclusion that it is worth supporting PiS. Because we are an honest party, a credible party, a party that has shown that it keeps its word and is effective in governing above all – stated Rafał Bochenek on PR1.

09:27

Müller on SKW Cooperation with FSB: A Task for the Commission Starting Work Now, and Potentially for the Prosecutor's Office Later
- I think this is also a task for the commission that is starting its work right now, and later, perhaps, for the prosecutor's office. Unfortunately, the problem with this type of actions, like these, is that they could often have been undertaken even within the bounds of the law, but were simply inconsistent with Poland's interests. […] When irresponsible people are allowed to hold power, they can do bad things for the country within the scope of their competencies, in a formal and legal sense. And this naive approach, well, excuse me - cooperation with Russian services? It's simply unprecedented, and military intelligence at that, etc. It's a preposterous situation – said Piotr Müller in an interview with Karol Gnat on "Trójka Political Salon" PR3.

09:31

Müller:

PO Will Do Anything, Even Insult Poland Abroad, Tarnish Its Image, Just to Get Closer to Election Victory
- Several people participated in this debate [on the visa issue]; it was a debate at the request of Civic Platform (PO), which is an element of the election campaign in Poland. What conclusions should I draw? The conclusions are that Civic Platform (PO) will do anything, even insult Poland abroad, tarnish its image, just to get a tiny bit closer to victory in the elections. We will not participate in this game - said Piotr Müller on PR3. - Another matter is that this entire debate is a smokescreen for today's debate, because today the debate on compulsory relocation begins – a mechanism that is to be mandatory in the European Union, and which the European People's Party (EPP) supports - he added.

09:41

Müller:

It's absurd to claim Poland is at risk of expulsion from the Schengen Area
- An absurd statement [that Poland is at risk of expulsion from the Schengen Area]. What we are currently doing within the Schengen zone is securing the Polish-Slovak border, because unfortunately, the Balkan route from the south brings smuggling and a wave of immigrants. And we must secure our borders, and in doing so, also partially the borders of other Western European countries. However, what we need to focus on today is the protection of the EU's external borders, because it's not a feat to close ourselves off within the EU now – which is, of course, sometimes necessary and what we are doing now – but the real feat is to secure the external borders - said Piotr Müller on PR3.

09:56

Müller:

Let Tusk Answer Today – Is He for Nuclear Power, or Does He Want to Listen to the Madmen in His Coalition?
- If the [contract for the construction of the first Polish nuclear power plant] were to be terminated, then the energy transformation in a large part would cease to be implemented, because the nuclear power plant will provide a significant portion of electricity in the future. Why do I say that this threat from the Civic Coalition representative is serious? Because we saw exactly the same processes in Germany. What the German authorities did, a kind of, to some extent, energy suicide […] the withdrawal from nuclear power plants, was under the influence of the Russian lobby. The same thing happened many years ago in Austria – said Piotr Müller on PR3. - That is why I perceive such crazy ideas from the Civic Coalition, in this case from the Green representative, as a violation of Poland's national interest. Let Donald Tusk answer today: whether he is for this nuclear power plant or not. Whether he wants to break Polish-American cooperation, or if he wants to listen to the madmen in his coalition – he continued.

10:02

Zandberg:

Recordings of Polish police simply killing a person are disturbing. We want the establishment of a Central Police Monitoring Bureau
- The recordings revealed by Onet, recordings that show Polish police simply killing a person, are disturbing and such scenes should never happen in a democratic country, such scenes should never happen in Poland. This situation, the situation in Wrocław [...] shows that the Polish police is an institution that is not functioning well, it is an institution that requires a change in its oversight formula. We must introduce oversight of the police that is truly independent. We must introduce oversight of the police that is not solely a reflection of temporary political majorities - said Adrian Zandberg at a press conference. - The Left wants to establish a Central Police Monitoring Bureau, which will employ individuals who have not previously worked in the police or other services. This will be a real, independent mechanism, also independent of a specific parliamentary majority, to ensure we do not see such scenes in Poland again. Poles have the right to feel safe when they see a police officer [...]. We must not allow Polish citizens to think of their state's services with fear - he continued.

10:14

Żukowska:

These Elections Are Neither Fair Nor Equal
- Last week, I met with representatives of the OSCE, who monitor elections worldwide, and are now also in Poland. They are concerned about the state of democracy, the conditions under which these elections are being organized, and how the electoral regulations were changed too late, meaning less than 9 months before the elections [...]. Unfortunately, these elections are neither fair nor equal - said Anna Maria Żukowska at a press conference. - I don't mean, of course, that they will be counted incorrectly by the electoral commissions in any way [...] but everything that happens before the act of voting itself, the way the election campaign of Law and Justice is financed, how it is openly supported, though of course evading the regulations [...] by state-owned companies, which, winking at voters, create materials, billboards, videos, commercials, that are, of course, for the benefit of Law and Justice, but officially, for example, the PGNiG foundation states them, I have no idea why the PGNiG foundation became interested in the retirement age in Poland and is taking a stance on this matter [...] but it is doing so to support the ruling party, which in our opinion is shameful, something that should not function in a democratic state - she continued.

11:07

Kamiński:

Sebastian Majtczak Detained in the United Arab Emirates
- The Special Search Group established by the Commander-in-Chief of the Police in the territory of the United Arab Emirates supported the local Police, who today carried out the detention of the wanted Sebastian Majtczak. The tasks were carried out in close cooperation with the National Public Prosecutor's Office - informed Mariusz Kamiński on Twitter.

11:32

Buda:

The Prime Minister Said That in 2024 We Will Likely Adjust the Limit to the Number of Interested Parties, So That Everyone Can Benefit from the Credit

- We had a rule planned, based on the fact that we created a joint budget for 2023 and 2024. We are not limiting in any way what happens in 2023, meaning every beneficiary will be served and will be able to take advantage of it. However, in 2024, we will add to this sum as much as needed. It is difficult with a program that is so revolutionary, new, completely unknown on the market, and which turns out to be very attractive, to predict the exact number of beneficiaries and the amount of loans that will be taken out under this program. Please remember that we were coming from a low point where loans were essentially not being granted at all. Only the accumulated demand led to more and more people deciding to take out this credit. We are waiting; at the end of the year, we will update these values and add more funds. The Prime Minister, and this is binding for me, said that in 2024 we will likely adjust this limit to the number of interested parties, so that everyone can benefit from it - stated Waldemar Buda in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on the program 'Sedno sprawy' (The Essence of the Matter) on Radio Plus.

11:33

Buda:

No Significant Fuel Price Hikes Should Occur

- It all depends on the fuel market, on the price of a barrel, and on the zloty-dollar exchange rate. The zloty could weaken further, and the price of a barrel could rise further. Unfortunately, this also stems from the price of Russian barrels; we most often have Arab oil. So, it's a very flexible and sensitive market. I cannot say for certain, but I believe there should be no significant [fuel price] increases - stated Waldemar Buda on the program “Sedno sprawy” on Radio Plus.

11:33

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Poles are happy they have cheaper fuel. The question is for how long and for whom.
- Poles are happy they are fueling up with cheaper fuel, this also needs to be said clearly and unequivocally. Those who assess this solely through a political prism, in my opinion, are making a mistake. Poles are satisfied that they have cheaper fuel. The question is for how long they will have this cheaper fuel and whether everyone, because farmers [...] going for wholesale fuel purchases, where wholesale, in layman's terms, should be cheaper. [...] And it's not like that, because at the stations, gasoline is 6 zloty, and wholesale it's sometimes 7 zloty. We've had such signals from our farmers from all over Poland, that they simply couldn't buy this gasoline wholesale, it wasn't profitable, they drove tractors to the stations, which is completely nonsensical - Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said at a press conference in Grudziądz.

11:53

Morawiecki:

I've instructed the Minister of Agriculture to prepare a compensation scheme for farmers' losses

- Today, I heard from you about a very important issue for northern Mazovia, and not only there, but in other parts of the country as well. Due to the particularly warm September, cauliflowers and broccoli began to ripen very quickly, and a problem arose with their collection. They have practically over-ripened in many places already, and the losses incurred by farmers are significant. Today, we had a teleconference with farmers and the Minister of Agriculture. I have instructed the Minister of Agriculture to prepare a comprehensive scheme for compensation for the losses that have occurred for farmers. The Polish state is acting. We have no influence, of course, on weather conditions, nor on what Russia will do with Ukraine, what further crisis it will provoke. However, where we do have influence – the blockade of Ukrainian grain to avoid destabilizing the Polish market, we are acting. Where we have influence, compensation for the losses farmers have suffered on cauliflower crops – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing in Sarnowo-Góry.

11:59

Morawiecki:

Life in the countryside, in rural areas, must also be a life of high standards

- A moment ago, the mayor told me that funds have been allocated from our government resources for transporting children to school, and modern buses have been purchased. This is just a small example with which I want to conclude my brief address. Life in the countryside, in rural areas, must also be a life of high standards. A high quality of life, convenient access to various public institutions, to the municipality, to the hospital, to school, to friends, must be at the same level as in cities, and that is what we are doing - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing in Sarnowo-Góry.

12:08

Obajtek:

This Year, Investments in Security and Business Total 36 Billion Zloty

- The development of companies is very important; the development of companies strengthens our economy. There is no strong company, no strong state, no strong economy if we do not invest in new technologies, invest in the future, truly invest for the next generations. In the economy, in business, in industry, nothing is permanent. Technologies change, trends change, customer conditions change, the world moves forward, and only this way can we ensure job stability. A modern, innovative economy requires a significant investment process. I say this with conviction because I see how many technology companies we are engaging in a powerful investment process, an investment process that Orlen has never seen before. We see this perfectly at Orlen, because this year, investments in security and business amount to 36 billion zloty – stated Daniel Obajtek during a press conference.

12:08

Morawiecki:

No Tolerance for Pedophilia and Toxic Internet Celebrity Behavior; Services Ordered to Act Swiftly and Decisively
- Yesterday, we heard the story of a man who, in all likelihood, used his internet-fame to harm minors, young girls. This is something so horrific that we must all, led by the Polish state, but not only, with various non-governmental organizations and all people of good will, do everything to prevent such behavior by internet celebrities – I don't hesitate to use that term - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said during a Facebook live broadcast.

- This latest scandal with this pseudo-celebrity, these internet pseudo-celebrities, would not have come to light if not for the victims reporting it. But I also want to promise you that we will not abandon this matter. As a parent and as Prime Minister, I believe that the Polish state must also do everything here to, while respecting privacy, of course, primarily protect children and young people from trauma, from events that begin on the internet but later leave a lifelong mark on their real lives - he continued.

- In the Polish state, there is no tolerance for pedophilia, there is no tolerance for such toxic internet celebrity behavior. This is the action of degenerates, and we will strive to eradicate it as effectively as possible. I am not interested in any opinions from the Warsaw salon or celebrities. I know what their opinion is on this matter. I have instructed all services to immediately address this issue and expect quick and decisive action - declared the head of government.

- I warn all those who wish to harm children and young people – you will face punishment, you will face the most severe punishment provided for in Polish law - he emphasized.

12:10

Obajtek:

We Are the Largest CIT Payer in Poland
We are the largest payer of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) in Poland, and through duties and taxes to both the state and local governments, we have paid 36.5 billion zlotys in the first half of the year. This is a powerful injection into the state budget, but it is particularly a powerful injection for local governments, which can then develop – stated Daniel Obajtek during a press conference.

12:10

Obajtek:

Today We Launch Second-Generation Biodiesel Production
We are not only developing Orlen as Płock, but we are also developing the regions of Poland where we have our assets. One such company is Orlen Południe. A company that is developing very dynamically. Recently, 2 weeks ago, we were in Kętrzyn, where the company is undertaking a very significant investment process, a process that will stabilize the price of, for example, rapeseed, where we will produce rapeseed oil, which will later go into bio-additives, into biodiesel. It is a large investment, but a necessary one, because the level of bio-additives in our fuels will continue to grow – stated Daniel Obajtek during a press conference. Today we are in Trzebinia, today. Another investment that has been completed. Today we are launching second-generation biodiesel production here, over 25,000 tons. A very quickly executed investment, costing 130 million. This refinery is changing its purpose (...) Today, this refinery is increasing its biodiesel production to 300,000 tons. It was a very large investment process – he added.

12:29

Szydło:

We are conducting extensive humanitarian and aid policy, but we will never agree to jeopardize the security of Poles and Europeans

- Manfred Weber, let us recall, is from the same group to which Donald Tusk's party belongs. He allowed himself to make a statement or insinuation that because 3 million refugees from Ukraine have arrived in Europe, we must now adopt the solutions being pushed by the EC. This is, of course, nonsense. Poland has helped and will continue to help all those in need of assistance. We have helped refugees from Ukraine, we will continue to provide humanitarian aid, we will help on the ground, in countries where people are suffering. We are conducting a very extensive humanitarian and aid policy, but we will never agree to jeopardize the security of Poles and Europeans - stated Beata Szydło at a press briefing in the European Parliament.

October 15th Presents a Very Simple Choice – Poland or Germany

- We are currently facing one of the most important decisions regarding our state's security. And have you seen the leaders of the Polish opposition in the European Parliament today? Where are they on this matter? Do you know where they are? Today, we saw them hiding behind Weber's back, and that best illustrates our current position. October 15th, contrary to appearances, presents us with a very simple choice. Either Poland or Germany. One must decide – stated Patryk Jaki at a press briefing in the European Parliament.

Morawiecki:

'Friendly Estate' Program Crucial for Over 8 Million Living in Panel Block Estates
- Very often when I walk around these [panel block] estates, I am asked about these specific programs, so I want to briefly mention them here as well, because they are important to the residents. They are important for over 8 million, some even cite over 11 million people, living in panel block estates – Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said at a press conference in Przasnysz. - Our program will consist primarily of the following points. Where water, gas, and electrical installations are already outdated and prone to increased failures, there will be a special fund, a dedicated section for carrying out renovations together with housing cooperatives; in the case of housing communities, this will also be possible. Very often, such estates lack parking spaces, so we will also be proposing either new parking spots or entire parking lots. […] Also, green areas […], this will also be a point of our 'Friendly Estate' program – he continued. - Lowering bills, meaning lower costs for all residents, through photovoltaics on roofs. You see how much photovoltaics has been installed in Poland in the last 3 years […], we will offer the same to residents of panel block estates. In addition to this, thermomodernization – he continued. - It cannot be the case that some estates are worse, others better, that there is Poland A, Poland B. It cannot be the case that people in any corner of Poland feel forgotten. This is in our DNA, this is a fundamental part of our entire program […], leveling living standards, increasing opportunities for finding work […], increasing wages for all people, and also improving the quality of life – he emphasized.

BGK President: Global Turbulence Highlights BGK's Counter-Cyclical Role – Stronger Action During Crises
- Global turbulence highlights BGK's counter-cyclical role, meaning stronger action during a crisis. A support package, 12 programs for businesses, and 500,000 jobs maintained or saved – said Beata Daszyńska-Muzyczka at the 2023 PAIH Business Forum.

Czarzasty:

I Wanted to File an Indictment Against PiS From This Podium

- Ladies and gentlemen, I wanted to file an indictment against PiS from this podium. I accuse you of lying to people, both during the election campaign, and of taking away the opportunity for an equal start for everyone in Poland. I accuse the representatives of State Treasury companies of two things. Firstly, State Treasury companies have become involved in the election campaign. They are financing PiS's program. They are financing program elements with state money and are publicizing all the things that PiS deems most important in its program. You are not here to participate in an election campaign using your own companies' money, against the interests of your own companies – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty in Bielsko-Biała.

- I remind Mr. Kaczyński that 8 years ago you came to power by criticizing such principles, by criticizing such behavior. What you are doing is obviously dishonest, and in my opinion, it is also unlawful – he added.

- I remind public television. You are the property of all citizens and you should behave accordingly. You should behave decently. Do you know what decency is, do you know what ethics is, do you know what morality is, do you know what honest politics is. You do not – he continued.

Zandberg:

Convince those still undecided to vote; a good result for Lewica and TD guarantees political change

- There is one way to make your vote even stronger. Convince someone who is hesitating to vote. Convince someone who doesn't know if they should go to the polls. I know there are still many people who are still asking themselves this question. That is why we are constantly on the streets, that is why we are talking about Lewica's program. About housing, about the labor market, about liberalizing the anti-abortion law, about finally introducing the principles of a secular state in Poland. About strengthening public services, about specifics that will change your lives if we manage to win these elections – said Adrian Zandberg in Bielsko-Biała.

- Ladies and gentlemen, I haven't heard so many positive messages on the streets in recent days for a long time. You are all telling me, keeping your fingers crossed for Lewica, that you are keeping your fingers crossed because you know that a good result for Lewica is crucial here, because it is true. A good result for Lewica and a good result for TD – whether political change will occur will depend on this. Convince those who are still undecided to vote, we will win – he continued.

Żukowska to Opposition Voters: Don't Take the Referendum Ballot. It's Kaczyński's Manipulation

- We are saying one thing. Dear voters, do not take the referendum ballot. This is Kaczyński's manipulation, do not participate in it. What you must do is, upon entering the polling station, approach the table and clearly state, I refuse to take the referendum ballot, please note this in the voter registry. Ensure that such an annotation appears next to your name. Only this method is the only legal method that will ensure this vote does not count towards the turnout – stated Anna Maria Żukowska in Bielsko-Biała.

- I appeal to all opposition voters, do not take the referendum ballot. Kaczyński is taking it, you are not – she added.

KGHM Signs Letter of Intent with Cyber Defence Forces

PARTNER TEXT

Training, practical exercises in cybersecurity and IT, and the exchange of experience and expert knowledge – KGHM has signed a letter of intent on cooperation with the Ministry of National Defence, represented by the Command of the Cyber Defence Forces. The specialized division of the copper company, the Central Information Processing Centre (COPI), will coordinate these activities.

Cybersecurity is a crucial area of operation for enterprises vital to national economies, as well as for public administration, medical services, police, and the military. KGHM, as a mining and smelting company operating in several cities in Poland and possessing foreign assets on several continents, has an extensive IT infrastructure that ensures operational continuity and, among other things, the safety of employees both underground and on the surface, requiring the company to provide round-the-clock protection.

– In the national cybersecurity system, the Polish Army is a key element in terms of actions and projects responsible for cyber defence. Cooperation in this field offers KGHM an opportunity to strengthen a system capable of counteracting contemporary threats in cyberspace and beyond. We anticipate close cooperation between our specialists and military experts – said Tomasz Zdzikot, CEO of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.

– Cooperation in the field of cybersecurity is crucial in combating increasingly advanced cyberattacks. Organizations, government institutions, corporations, and services must exchange information about threats and best practices to effectively defend themselves against cyberattacks. I am convinced that our cooperation will bring tangible benefits to both parties and contribute to building a cyber-secure future – added Karol Molenda, Major General, Commander of the Cyber Defence Forces Component.

The aim of the letter of intent is primarily the cooperation between the Ministry of National Defence and KGHM to enhance the level of cybersecurity in the Republic of Poland. The parties will exchange experiences and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity. Promotional activities on this topic and joint security-related projects are planned.

The parties also intend to organize joint training sessions on incident response and conduct analyses related to cybersecurity activities.

The Cyber Defence Forces are a specialized component of the armed forces responsible for ensuring security in the so-called operational domain, which, alongside water, land, air, and outer space, is also cyberspace. The Cyber Defence Forces have the capabilities to carry out a full spectrum of operations – from defensive and reconnaissance to offensive ones. Within the Ministry of National Defence, DKWOC is responsible for areas related to cryptography, cybersecurity, and the construction and operation of IT systems.

The key tasks of the Cyber Defence Forces include ensuring the IT security of the entire ministry, conducting research, designing, building, implementing, using, and protecting national cryptographic technologies, and developing new products for the state by integrating scientific and industrial potential in the field of advanced information and cryptographic technologies. The Command of the Cyber Defence Forces also engages in scientific-educational, implementation, research and development, and advisory activities.

Since 2022, KGHM has been organizing a cyber range for companies in the energy sector and the mining industry. The workshops serve to prepare teams from individual firms and companies for threats in cyberspace. Scenarios of attacks are prepared for participants, requiring swift actions and critical decision-making for the respective organizations. The training provides an opportunity to leverage experience and learn new solutions.

In turn, KGHM's division, the Central Information Processing Centre, runs the educational program "Digital Future of Copper," focused on topics related to digitalization, cybersecurity, and the development of modern technologies. The project is aimed at post-secondary school students: technical schools with IT-focused classes and general high schools with STEM tracks – future potential students of IT programs. Eight schools from the Copper Belt and the Lubusz Voivodeship have already declared their willingness to cooperate with KGHM.

Tusk:

Waste disposal and restoration of this part of Zgierz could cost billions

- The disposal of this waste and the reclamation of this area, restoring this part of Zgierz to its residents, could cost billions. The hope was very specific because a significant portion of these funds was guaranteed in the KPO, in funds that PiS blocked. They should have been put to work many, many months ago, because this is our Polish money, it was granted on quite a good scale, precisely for securing this area - stated Donald Tusk at a press briefing.

14:12

Tusk:

We Will Report the Highly Inappropriate Behavior of Aggressive and Uncultured People Posing as Journalists

We will, of course, be submitting information about the highly inappropriate behavior of aggressive and uncultured people who are posing as journalists to the relevant institutions. This is not the first time, but what happened here today has crossed all possible boundaries. Especially since we informed you that there would be a briefing where we would cover all interesting topics," stated Donald Tusk at a press briefing.

Tusk:

Morawiecki Has Every Right to Consider Himself the Author, or Co-Author, of Poland's Retirement Age

- He advised raising the retirement age. There was no one more engaged in my circle, as an expert or a politician, in promoting the raising of the retirement age than Morawiecki, so Prime Minister Morawiecki has every right to consider himself the author, or co-author, of Poland's retirement age - stated Donald Tusk at a press briefing.

14:33

Tusk:

Morawiecki and Kaczyński are responsible for the Polish state doing nothing about pedophilia despite clear impunity and brazenness

-I heard the same Morawiecki with extraordinary zeal decide to attack pedophilia in Poland and defend the victims of pedophilia in connection with an online scandal involving so-called YouTubers and influencers who were exposed as participants in abuses against teenage girls, using their positions as popular YouTubers via the internet. I hear Prime Minister Morawiecki saying he will fight pedophilia in Poland. I remind you that I am directing these words primarily to TVP Info, because you have now returned and started discussions, and I think it will be very interesting for your television to convey information to all your viewers that in Poland, following the scandal revealed in the film about pedophilia among representatives of the Polish clergy. You remember that loud film, there was a debate, there were serious emotions, and it was decided to establish a state commission for the prevention and fight against pedophilia, and PiS established this commission - stated Donald Tusk at a press briefing.

- You know that this commission took no action beyond its headquarters, perhaps using a company car. After some time, the head of this commission, appointed by PiS, said that he was actually no longer interested in fighting pedophilia. They have done absolutely nothing to date. We have two very disturbing scandals: the one spoken about in the Sekielski brothers' film, i.e., pedophilia in the church, and what has heated up the internet in recent hours, i.e., pedophilia online in relationships between very young people and the environment of very popular YouTubers. Both of these had to be revealed by journalists; you [TVP journalists] were not there - he continued.

- Morawiecki himself and Jarosław Kaczyński personally are responsible for the Polish state doing nothing in this matter, despite so many instances of impunity and brazenness of pedophiles. The commission turned out to be a fiction, we still don't hear of anyone being seriously held accountable, and the fact that the entire internet is buzzing today and not only that, and people are receiving this news with disbelief (...). If Morawiecki had truly thought about the victims of pedophilia for even a moment, there would be no need to wait for Wardęga or Sekielski. That is what the state and this commission are for. They should exist to protect our children from pedophilia, and Morawiecki only deals with it at press conferences. I consider his statement a scandalous demonstration of helplessness and indifference, in reality, towards the fate of pedophilia victims in Poland - he added.

Tusk:

PiS and Kaczyński Have Grown Accustomed to Squeezing State-Owned Companies Mercilessly

- I have no doubt that PiS and Jarosław Kaczyński personally have grown very accustomed to state-owned companies being used to mercilessly milk them in order to fill their own pockets, but also to, for example, use state-owned companies in campaigns. This is on a scale completely unprecedented in Europe; I want you to be aware of this – it poisons our public life in Poland just as much as those dangerous waste products in Zgierz – stated Donald Tusk at a press briefing.

15:12

Morawiecki:

Unemployment Skyrocketed Under Our Predecessors, Now Job Creation is Soaring

- Unemployment skyrocketed under our predecessors, now job creation is soaring. Never in Poland's history have so many people been employed simultaneously, exceeding 17 million people. The number of jobs created and the unemployment rate, according to the latest EC data, are among the absolute lowest in the EU - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the Melvit company.

European Cybersecurity Month Kicks Off – The 11th Edition Has Begun

PARTNER CONTENT

On October 1st, the European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM) launched for the 11th time. This year's campaign, organized by ENISA at the initiative of the European Commission, focuses on threats that utilize social engineering.

It is at the initiative of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) that October is designated as a cybersecurity month every year. During this month, particular emphasis is placed on disseminating knowledge, increasing awareness, and exchanging best practices in cybersecurity among all internet users, including professionals, educators, and those involved in child and youth prevention. It also presents an excellent opportunity for collaboration with various organizations and partners. The Polish edition of the ECSM campaign has been coordinated from the outset by the NASK National Research Institute.

Our society is ready to utilize e-services. Electronic banking, online shopping, mobile ticketing, and handling official matters via the mObywatel app are a reality for many people, regardless of age. We also know that an increase in the number of users simultaneously increases the number of attacks, which is why cybersecurity is so important. Ensuring cyber protection is one of the most significant challenges faced not only by individual governments but also by private sector experts and researchers – stated Minister of Digital Affairs, Janusz Cieszyński.

– European Cybersecurity Month is an excellent opportunity to focus even more strongly on issues related to cybersecurity. We live in a "digital age" where more and more aspects of our lives are being digitized. Cybersecurity is therefore not an abstract term, but a crucial factor influencing our well-being. Hence, it is worthwhile to deepen our knowledge in this area through initiatives like ECSM – emphasized Wojciech Pawlak, Director of the NASK National Research Institute.

One of the weakest links in cybersecurity is the human element. Therefore, explaining how social engineering works in practice increases user awareness and makes it easier for them to avoid potential traps – said ENISA's Executive Director, Juhan Lepassaar.

This year's edition of the European Cybersecurity Month focuses on issues related to social engineering (socjotechnika), which refers to the broad use by criminals of various manipulation techniques employed in phishing campaigns targeting internet users.

What is social engineering in the context of online fraud?

Social engineering is employed when an individual is manipulated into taking specific actions or revealing confidential information. Criminals exploit this information to defraud their victims and steal their money. Social engineering attacks can be carried out using various methods, such as email, instant messaging, phone calls, or in-person contact. To attract the attention of potential victims, fraudsters use numerous false messages, such as notifications about unpaid invoices, the need for additional payment for a package, winning a contest, or information that a computer has been infected.

Scammers are becoming increasingly creative in their attacks on individuals and organizations. Therefore, it is necessary to remain vigilant towards new technologies and take online security seriously. Cyber threats are evolving rapidly, and citizen behavior can play a crucial role in ensuring cybersecurity. This is our shared responsibility – stressed Thierry Breton, ENISA's Commissioner for the Internal Market.

Submit your own initiative for this year's ECSM!

The idea behind the ECSM campaign is for companies, institutions, and other entities to submit cybersecurity initiatives aimed at raising awareness and competence in this area. The campaign is non-commercial, and participation in its initiatives is free of charge. Examples of such initiatives include webinars, conferences, actions to improve cybersecurity skills among clients and employees, and thematic classes in schools. Participating in the campaign is a great way to expand your own knowledge and that of others about cyber threats – at home, at work, or at school. Education is the best prevention!

The first and most important way to protect against social engineering attacks is to raise cybersecurity awareness, both for ordinary internet users and for employees of companies and institutions. The ability to recognize threats, and above all, sensitivity to various manipulation methods, can protect us and our companies from social engineering attacks. European Cybersecurity Month is an excellent opportunity not only to participate in initiatives organized by others but also to conduct your own awareness-raising actions and implement good practices in your environment – encourages Anna Kwaśnik, Head of the Information and Popularization Projects Team at NASK, and ECSM coordinator in Poland.

This year's campaign has received patronage from, among others, the Minister of Digital Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Police Headquarters, the Warsaw Banking Institute, the Safe Cyberspace Foundation, and others. More information is available here.

How to submit your initiative?

We invite you to participate in this year's European Cybersecurity Month and submit your initiatives via the form and follow the news on social media:

Petru:

If I Were NBP President, Inflation Would Be Half as Low
- After the elections, we will need to check whether the decisions made by President Glapiński were made in a similar manner to those implemented at Orlen, namely at the political request of President Kaczyński. There is a serious concern that the decisions made by the Monetary Policy Council (RPP) are politically forced. We should investigate this after the elections, because it cannot be the case that the National Bank of Poland is guarding PiS's good election results, rather than low inflation in Poland. The current high level of inflation does not justify this scale of interest rate cuts - said Ryszard Petru at a press conference. - I am pleased [about the interest rate cut] as a borrower, but worried as a person responsible for the economy in the future. I believe that such actions are pro-inflationary. If it were up to me, if I had the pleasure of even being the President of the NBP, I can assure you that inflation in Poland today would be half as low - he continued.

Pekao Analysts: This is How the Cycle Will Unfold: Small Steps, Not at Every Meeting, and Considering Risks to Financial Stability. By the end of this year, the reference rate will be 5.5%, and by the end of 2024, 4%.
- The Monetary Policy Council (MPC) did not surprise this time (except for the timing of the decision announcement) and cut rates by 25 basis points. This is how the cycle will unfold: in small steps, not at every meeting, and considering the risks to financial stability (the zloty). By the end of this year, the reference rate will be 5.5%, and by the end of 2024, 4% - wrote Bank Pekao analysts.

17:11

Morawiecki:

As Long As PiS Leads the Government, We Will Continuously Allocate More Funds to Improve Seniors' Lives
As long as the PiS government leads the Polish government, we will continuously allocate as many funds as possible, just like now, during the 14th, the 14th payments, specifically for improving the lives of seniors. This is a great commitment of the PiS government – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Zambrów.

17:19

Tusk:

We Will Win Against Them Because We Love Poland
- This need for change, this feeling that Poland and all of us cannot endure this any longer, has not erased what is most important from our hearts and minds. I always say this, and those from PiS laugh or mock, or clearly don't understand what I'm talking about when I speak about the significance in politics of such obvious values as love, friendship, a smile. This is our greatest advantage, this is our greatest treasure. We will win against them because we love. Because we love Poland, we love people, we love children, our grandchildren – Donald Tusk said in Konin.

17:23

Tusk:

Over a Million People in Warsaw Streets – We Have Very Precise Data, Measurements, Calculations
- This over a million people in the streets of Warsaw – and regardless of how much PiS and the state television wanted to convince us, first that it was a flop, nobody came. Then that it was a handful. Then that it was 60,000. Then the police said they didn't provide anything like that. Then Kaczyński backed down and said: maybe 200-300. We have very precise data regarding the measurement of mobile phone connections, calculations from the Warsaw municipal government, and the City Guard – Donald Tusk said in Konin. - But it wasn't about a race, it's not important to me that I saw their – I'm talking about PiS and the authorities – such bad and sad faces, because they saw for the umpteenth time how many people in Poland are not only waiting for the end of their rule. But much more importantly, those of you and those of you who were there that day will surely confirm this […], it's not just conviction and this experience of one's own strength, because if a million people take to the streets, that is something exceptional on a European scale, but it's not only that building of a sense of strength, determination, it's not only that that distinguished that day […]. These faces were also smiling. This is what we have dreamed of for so long – he continued.

17:31

Tusk:

When I Returned to Polish Politics, KO Was at 14-16%. Today We Have Steadily Surpassed 30%.
- I returned to my homeland and to Polish politics, and at that time KO was at 14-16%. Today we are, we have steadily surpassed 30%. We managed to convince people, it's of course not enough, I know […]. But I'm saying this not to brag, it wasn't just my effort, but I want to tell you that everything is possible - Donald Tusk said in Konin.

17:31

Tusk:

On October 15th, We Can Save the Fatherland from Serious Misfortunes Without Armed Effort
- It is very important to me that everyone in Poland understands that October 15th presents a great opportunity, that we can truly save the fatherland from many serious misfortunes without armed effort, you know, without any dramatic sacrifice - said Donald Tusk in Konin.

17:43

Tusk:

Light won't return to Poland if we don't hold thieves, liars, and those who violated the Constitution accountable
- We must win and hold them accountable. And without accountability, there will be no opening of these windows and these doors. Light won't return to Poland if we don't hold thieves, liars, and those who violated the Constitution, who took away women's rights, accountable - Donald Tusk said in Konin.

17:45

Tusk:

Today I had another encounter with the functionaries of the PiS television, extremely aggressive types
- Today I had another encounter with the functionaries of the PiS television, extremely aggressive types. And I have to say, they don't even realize, because I was laughing inwardly: you are helping an ever-larger group of people in Poland understand who you are, how you behave, who you serve, for how much you serve - said Donald Tusk in Konin.

17:57

Tusk:

I Have Knowledge They Are Planning to Lead Poland Out of the EU
- These elections will decide whether Poland remains in the European Union. Believe me, this is not just idle fearmongering; I truly know what I'm talking about. If anyone in Poland knows about this, it is truly me. And I have knowledge, it's not fear, I have knowledge that they are systematically, cold-bloodedly, planning to lead Poland out of the European Union. I know this - Donald Tusk said in Konin. - You know why they blocked these funds. You know why they are now blocking the border with Slovakia and essentially threw these thousands of migrants into Poland, into Europe, to provoke further border closures. Because they know how much Poles cared about European funds, about the free movement of people. If there are no European funds, if there is no free movement, borders will be blocked again, and that will be the moment when they say: what do we need such an Europe for? - he continued. - I saw what happened in England. It was the moment, I mean, it was a stupid political idea of one politician. An idea, he himself didn't even believe in it, and a year and a half later they were outside the European Union. Today they are crying. Today, hundreds of thousands [of citizens] are again taking to the streets because they understood what a huge mistake they made. But we are not Great Britain; there it is a big mistake, here it will be a tragedy - he went on to say.

18:00

Tusk:

PiS is leading us to tragic isolation. Whatever they say about patriotism, they are a threat to our homeland
- PiS is leading us to tragic isolation. Whatever they say about patriotism, they are a threat to our homeland, to our independence, to your prosperity, peace, and the security of our children - Donald Tusk said in Konin. - So go to those you might be able to convince and talk to them about serious matters. You have all the arguments in hand, reason, the truth is on your side - he added.

18:14

Kaczyński:

Only We in Poland Guarantee Peace

- Only one formation, which, while in power, takes an unambiguous stance on this matter and does not yield to pressure. This formation is Law and Justice, the United Right, because only we in Poland guarantee peace – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Łódź.

18:18

Kaczyński on PSL: They Want One Thing – To Remove Us From Power So They Can Be in Charge and Continue to Reap Profits as Before

Tactically today, [our competitors], like the PSL, are ready to say a decisive "no." We heard that recently, I think even today we heard it. But this is entirely a tactic, understandable today. All polls indicate that the vast majority of Poles do not support solutions involving admitting immigrants, not these kinds, the illegal ones. But is the PSL a credible formation? No, not at all. They want one thing – to remove us from power so they can be in power and continue to reap various profits from that power as they did before – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Łódź.

Do they represent the Polish countryside? Polish farmers, the ordinary farmers and other residents, because nowadays more people live in the countryside who are not involved in agriculture, who do not make a living from agriculture, than those who are and live from it. But everyone is somehow connected to agriculture, because everyone has family ties, present and past, so agriculture remains the most important thing for the countryside. No, they represent those who, to put it very mildly, in the complicated 1990s, and one could also date it to the late 1980s, enriched themselves in various ways, privatized various things, and today they own them, and today they very often use their property to play games based on the principle: we will lower the price, and the state will pay. Not from their own pockets, because the state has no money of its own, it has the money of its citizens – he continued.

These people truly do not deserve trust, in any matter, and especially not in this one – added the PiS chairman.

18:20

Kaczyński:

Kosiniak-Kamysz Once Took On Raising the Retirement Age for Rural Women by 12 Years

- If they [PSL] are told to do it in Brussels and here in Warsaw, their older brother, PO, will tell them to do it. After all, Mr. Kosiniak-Kamysz once took on matters like the retirement age, raising the retirement age for rural women by 12 years. From 55 to 67. And he also took on taking money from the OFE, about PLN 140 billion. People from PO themselves spoke about it, I will quote here this somewhat colloquial language, please forgive me, that this guy took the heaviest matters upon himself - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Łódź.

18:23

Kaczyński on the Third Way: It's Exactly the Same Path as It's Been All These Years

- This is [the Third Way] the same path. Exactly the same path as it's been all these years. It's the same path, and we must remember this all the time – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Łódź.

18:30

Kaczyński:

Remember Kosiniak-Kamysz applauding Jażdżewski? This is fundamentally an extremely anti-clerical formation

- Remember that this will return, if they win, it will return. So, the PSL in reality had nothing against it. Do you remember Kosiniak-Kamysz, how he applauded that Jażdżewski? Do you remember? Well, precisely, these are their views. This is a formation that is in essence extremely anti-clerical – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Łódź.

- I am not claiming that bad things don't happen in the Church, because they do, and we must talk about it, and we must also fight against it, although that is primarily the Church's task. However, the Church in Poland is, in particular, the foundation of the entire invisible order I spoke about – continued the PiS chairman.

18:32

Tusk on the Referendum: Let Everyone Behave in the Polling Station As They See Fit
- I believe this was one of the reasons Kaczyński decided on this referendum. Many people are asking me, including members of my family: what should they do? If they don't take the referendum ballot, will the entire commission know they didn't take it, meaning they dislike PiS? Well, you know, they can't deport you further than Siberia, so there's probably no risk. But the problem isn't whether it's a real threat to people who reveal their views. The problem is that so many people think it could be some kind of problem for them - said Donald Tusk in Konin. - Think about a polling station in a small village, for example in Podkarpacie. And think about a young woman who is heartily fed up with a system where she is humiliated and wants to vote for her rights, against the ruling party. But it is by no means certain that she wants members of the commission, neighbors, perhaps her boss from work, to know. It's not by accident that the secrecy of elections was invented. By introducing the referendum and this method, they de facto invalidate a key aspect of democratic elections, which is the secrecy of the ballot - he continued. - Right at the beginning, when they announced this referendum, I said that I solemnly annul it, because it has no greater significance. This referendum has no greater significance. And that is why I say with full conviction and truly deeply believe that this is the case – let everyone behave in the polling station as they see fit. If they go and vote in the referendum, they are not betraying any ideals - he emphasized.

18:34

Tusk:

If We Win the Election and They Lose Power, I'm Completely Uninterested Whether They Had 30% or 50% Turnout in the Referendum
- It has no significance whatsoever, because the referendum has no legal consequences. To be honest, I am completely uninterested after the election, if we win this election and they lose power, whether they had 30% or 50% turnout in the referendum. It doesn't occupy me at all. I don't want to lose a single person - Donald Tusk said in Konin. - The real referendum takes place on the ballot paper. Only that matters. [...] The election result will decide everything. The referendum result will decide nothing - he added.

Tusk:

Nobody Wants to Raise the Retirement Age. Poles Said They Don't Want It, the Decision Was Made Long Ago
- Nobody wants to raise the retirement age, nobody. Nobody will raise the age, Poles said they don't want it. They don't want it, there's nothing to discuss, the decision was made long ago, full stop. - said Donald Tusk in Konin. - Nobody wants to tear down the fence on the border with Belarus. If anything, we want to build a real barrier, an effective one, not one where 10-15 thousand [people] cross illegally every month. - he continued.

Tusk:

No Significant Political Force in Poland Supports Mandatory Relocation of Migrants
- No significant political force in Poland is in favour of mandatory relocation. Nobody in Poland, among the major political parties, is in favour of this coercion, meaning the sharing of migrants within the European Union - said Donald Tusk in Konin.

Tusk:

I Will Have No Problem Forming a Government with Hołownia, Kosiniak-Kamysz, and the Left. We Are Already Agreed
- I will have no problem, I emphasize, no problem at all, to agree on building a sensible, honest, active government with Szymon Hołownia, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and the leaders of the Left the day after the election. And the differences between us will not interest me at all, not at all. And between us, speaking frankly, we are already agreed - Donald Tusk said in Konin.

Tusk:

Kaczyński has repeatedly shown contempt, those jokes about transsexuality. The President isn't exactly an expert on sexuality.
- Kaczyński has also, on more than one occasion, remember, shown a display of such arrogance and contempt for people, his jokes, for instance, about transsexuality. Anyone who knows a little about life. Anyone who knows anything about sexuality, the President isn't exactly in the group that is competent on this matter, and perhaps that's why he allows himself such contempt - said Donald Tusk in Konin.

Tusk Announces: 7 More Meetings by Next Sunday
- You won't believe it, but by Sunday I plan to meet with Poles in Lesko, Przemyśl, Krosno, Rzeszów, Mielec, Łódź, Płock. Today is Wednesday, right? Ełk, yes [next week]. And this is before the elections and it's just the beginning for now, so if you want me to live until October 15th, let me continue my tour - Donald Tusk said in Konin.

Morawiecki:

You Need to Know the Dangers of Voting for Civic Platform and Other Opposition Parties, as They Also Voted Against the Referendum

- Therefore, ladies and gentlemen, you need to know the dangers associated with voting for Civic Platform and other opposition parties. Because other opposition parties also voted against the referendum, they also voted against, not all of them to be fair, the barrier on the border with Belarus – said Mateusz Morawiecki in Łomża.

- This, ladies and gentlemen, is a fight against this plan of Tusk. We must convince everyone, let's reach out to our friends too, let's reach deep into our nation. Our nation must fully awaken, but I also want everyone to wake up by looking around and seeing what has been achieved – he continued.

- In eight weeks, they will destroy all of this, why? Because they are acting on behalf of their masters from Germany, from Brussels, and what do they want? Cheap labor from Poland, they want Poles to emigrate, when Poles emigrate for bread, when there is no decent work here – he added.

Morawiecki:

What Was Once an Unreachable Dream is Now Attainable Thanks to the PiS Government and the Hard Work of Poles

- I spoke about this vision for the future so that Poles can live, and this is possible. The leader of the Labour Party [UK] said something along these lines: if Poland continues to develop as it has in recent years, it will catch up to the average earnings and GDP per capita of the UK in 6 years. In terms of purchasing power, these are not my figures. They say this, meaning that what was once an unreachable dream is now becoming a dream that can be fulfilled, thanks to the PiS government and the hard work of Poles, including those returning from emigration – said Mateusz Morawiecki in Łomża.

Morawiecki on Tusk: He Broke NATO Pact Principles. See What Kind of Man He Is, Bought by Vile German Orders I Would Be Ashamed to Touch

- In this way, he broke the principles of the NATO pact, meaning he betrayed the pact that gives us security. See what kind of man he is, for vile German orders, which I would be ashamed to even pick up. He allowed himself to be pinned here on his lapel, the Walther Rathenau Order – stated Mateusz Morawiecki in Łomża.

Szydło on the Migration Pact: It's a Very Bad Pact That Doesn't Solve the Migration Crisis, Quite the Opposite

- This is a very bad pact that does not solve the migration crisis; quite the opposite, it will be an incentive for illegal immigrants to keep coming to Europe, and for the smugglers involved in this activity, it is an incentive that they can simply make money. So, once again, the European Commission is trying to pull the wool over our eyes, claiming to be seeking solutions, while in reality, it is endangering Europeans and Europe. We have definitively said 'no,' the Hungarians have said so too, but there are also countries that have abstained – stated Beata Szydło on TVP Info's 'Gość Wiadomości' program.

20:41

Szydło:

PO and Tusk are known for saying one thing during election campaigns and doing the opposite when in power

- By their deeds you shall know them. On the one hand, one can declare anything, and PO and Tusk are known for saying one thing during election campaigns, and then, when they governed, doing something completely opposite. Raising the retirement age is the best example of this. After all, they swore during the election campaign that the retirement age would not be raised, and when they took power, when they started governing after the elections, they did it immediately - stated Beata Szydło on the program "Gość Wiadomości" on TVP Info.

20:55

Szydło:

During today's debate on the Migration Pact, I heard Weber say he is a staunch supporter of accepting illegal migrants

- Tusk is lying in the election campaign right now, saying there will be no consent to accepting illegal migrants. This is because Civic Platform and the Polish People's Party are members of a political group in the European Parliament at the European level, the EPP, headed by Manfred Weber. This morning, while participating in the debate concerning the Migration Pact, I heard what he said; he is a staunch supporter of adopting these solutions, of accepting illegal migrants - stated Beata Szydło on the TVP Info program "Gość Wiadomości".
