Morawiecki Publishes Infographic:

For 8 Years, the PiS Government Has Been Building a Secure Future for Poles.

- For 8 years, the PiS government has been building a secure future for Poles. Thank you for your trust! We have accomplished a huge amount of work, but even more challenges lie ahead! We will win! - wrote Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Twitter.

Participants of the Million Hearts March Gather at Dmowskiego Roundabout, Civic Platform Politicians Share Photos

More than an hour before the planned start of the Million Hearts March, its participants are already gathering at Dmowskiego Roundabout in Warsaw. Simultaneously, more groups of opposition supporters are arriving in the capital by bus. Civic Platform politicians are publishing and sharing numerous photos on social media, showing march participants arriving at the assembly point.

10:57

Hołownia:

We Don't Want a Repeat of Slovakia's Situation Here, Where an Openly Pro-Russian Xenophobic Party Came to Power
- We very much do not want what just happened yesterday in Slovakia to be repeated here, where a xenophobic party, an openly pro-Russian party, a party that will do everything in its power to destabilize the situation in Europe, has come to power. We cannot allow this to happen on October 15th – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in Częstochowa. - Yesterday we travelled half of Poland, today the other half, precisely to convince those who are not yet convinced. The situation – all the polls show this – is by a hair's breadth, at the brink, and this is too important an issue to leave it at the brink – he continued.

11:04

Hołownia:

We're Keeping Our Fingers Crossed for Today's March in Warsaw. Mobilization is Needed on Absolutely All Fronts
- We're keeping our fingers crossed for today's march in Warsaw. We know that many of our friends, also activists, are going there, which is very good. Mobilization is needed today on absolutely all fronts. All hands on deck. Everyone, wherever we are, must encourage our loved ones and friends to vote, to make a change. I believe that this change will become part of our lives very soon - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in Częstochowa.

11:14

Kobosko at PiS Headquarters: 'In 14 Days, This Government Will End'

- We are here today to say that in exactly 14 days, this government will end. The rule of Nowogrodzka will end, the breaking of the law will end, the perversion of justice will end. In 14 days, we will finally begin implementing the changes that are necessary in Poland, that are needed, that we all expect – said Michał Kobosko in Warsaw.

11:15

Petru:

We're marching to mobilize Poles to vote in the upcoming elections. A European Poland, a rule-of-law Poland – that is our common goal.

- We are marching because we are simultaneously fighting for electoral segments. Some of us are in Poland, some of us are here today at the march, we are marching so that no one can accuse us of the opposition being divided. We are marching to mobilize Poles to vote in the upcoming elections. Both for the Left, for Civic Platform, and we particularly care about casting votes for TD. A European Poland, a rule-of-law Poland – that is our common goal – stated Ryszard Petru in Warsaw.

- We are going, ladies and gentlemen, to the front of the march, we want to be visible at this march, because it is important to us that after the elections we will form a government together. This is the kind of Poland we would want after October 15th – he continued.

11:15

Thun:

We Will End the Ruination of Poland's Image and the Weakening of the EU. We Will Not Turn Our Backs on the EU, But Will Ensure We Co-Govern and Benefit

- We see what is happening in Poland, what our position in the EU is. Because this government, whose informal leader sits here next to us, behind us, is not only ruining our image but weakening the entire EU. It is deceiving Polish citizens by trading visas in stalls and deceiving 500 million European citizens, and we will put an end to this. We will sit down at the table, we will not be on the menu, we will not turn our backs on the EU, but we will ensure that we co-govern and benefit – said Róża Thun in Warsaw.

11:29

Hołownia:

We're Particularly Reaching Out to First-Time Voters – This Truly Can Be Poland for You
- We are particularly reaching out to those who will vote for the first time – listen, this truly can be Poland for you. With a monthly ticket for 150 zloty, with which you can travel across all of Poland, using both urban and intercity transport, so that you are mobile. […] We will try from the very first moment […] to tackle the issue of housing, which is lacking in Poland, but which young people fear greatly - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in Częstochowa. - We are strongly appealing to them [young people] and will discuss this with them, so they give a chance to hope, so they vote, so they express their voice. So that it never happens again that some political grandfather empties his grandson's piggy bank to send the grandfather shopping, with the feeling that he did him a great favor by paying him some additional benefit - he continued.

12:13

Tusk:

A Great Change is Happening Today, a Signal of Polish Rebirth
- The impossible has become possible. When I see this sea of hearts, when I see these hundreds of thousands of smiling faces, I feel strongly that this is a breakthrough moment in the history of our homeland. I have already lived through several such crucial moments in my life. No one believed then, just like not so long ago, that such events, such crowds, such emotions could happen to us again in our history. A great change is happening today, it is a signal of a great Polish rebirth – said Donald Tusk at the March of a Million Hearts in Warsaw.

12:15

Tusk:

Look at yourselves today. What can they do to us anymore?
- We have overcome various obstacles, the beginnings were difficult. I remember the 70s, when it suddenly turned out, literally overnight, how a million people took to the streets of Warsaw, when John Paul II visited his homeland for the first time, and then the authorities understood that this was probably the end. Look at yourselves today. What can they do to us anymore? They won't be able to do anything worse, we will keep an eye on them - said Donald Tusk at the March of a Million Hearts in Warsaw. - Do you remember the day when our president Rafał Trzaskowski, having garnered 10 million votes, woke us up, our hope. Nothing will stop this force anymore, as I said, this giant has awoken. Let no one at the top in the ranks of power have any illusions, this change is inevitable, for the better - he continued.

12:27

Tusk:

A Few, a Small Few, Fled the Capital Today. They Didn't Want to See You, But All of Poland Gathered Here Today Will Follow Them
- Some today, a small few, fled the capital, precisely on this day. They didn't want to see you, but the image, but all of Poland that has gathered here today, will follow them. Today the whole world is watching Warsaw - said Donald Tusk at the March of a Million Hearts in Warsaw.

12:27

Trzaskowski on the Ruling Party: They've Identified One Thing to Heal Poland's Problems. They'll Organize the Olympic Games
- Think about it, have they actually proposed even one positive thing, any proposal, other than lies and propaganda? I pondered for a long time and found one. One thing. They've apparently identified one thing that is supposed to heal all of Poland's problems. They'll organize the Olympic Games for us. That will solve all our problems. The only thing is, for now, unfortunately, we have an Olympics of hate, division, and manipulation - said Rafał Trzaskowski at the March of a Million Hearts in Warsaw.

12:28

Czarzasty at the March of a Million Hearts: I am here because I believe the opposition will form a joint government after the elections

- I am here because I believe the opposition will form a joint government after the elections. I am here because I believe that the Third Way, Civic Coalition, and the Left will form this government. That is why all three of these parties must enter the Sejm - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty during the March of a Million Hearts.

12:28

Czarzasty at the Million Hearts March: I dream of a Poland where there is a secular state; I dream that the clergy never tells us what to do, who to love, or how.

- I dream of a Poland where there is a secular state; I dream that the clergy never tells us what to do, who to love, or how. Especially since these 'pieces of advice' come from Dąbrowa Górnicza. I want the clergy to pay taxes; do you pay taxes? I want the clergy to be equal before the law. I want a pedophile to be transferred from a parish to prison, not from parish to parish. I want the clergy not to receive land for free, which they then sell to Mateusz Morawiecki - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty during the Million Hearts March.

12:29

Trzaskowski:

We march for victory in the elections, for a completely new Poland
- Today we march for victory in the elections in two weeks, but in reality, that's just the beginning. Because we are marching for a completely new Poland. I see that millions have woken up, and that is the most important thing. We march full of courage and determination towards the future. Towards a Poland that is tolerant, diverse, European, and smiling – said Rafał Trzaskowski at the March of a Million Hearts in Warsaw.

12:29

Czarzasty at the March of a Million Hearts: I Tell the Bishops: If it's true you are far from women, then stay away from women

- I want the clergy to keep their hands off women. I'm telling the bishops: if it's true that you are far from women, then stay away from women. I want women to have their rights, to decide for themselves on the issue of abortion, for abortion to be permissible up to the 12th week - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty during the March of a Million Hearts.

12:31

Morawiecki Ahead of PiS Convention: I've Prepared a Briefcase with Some Interesting Documents

- The convention is about to begin! I've prepared a briefcase with some interesting documents! Let's debate facts, not emotions! - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on Twitter.

12:31

Trzaskowski:

We Want to Refer to Poland's Best Tradition, the Tradition of Tolerance
- We want to refer to tolerance, to that best tradition. Poland's best tradition. The tradition of a state that was open, that was tolerant, that always was, is, and will be tolerant. It is to such a tradition that we want to refer. We do not want to refer to only negative traditions. Philistinism, propaganda, communist lies. We want to look proudly and with courage into the future – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at the March of a Million Hearts in Warsaw. - Think for a moment about what today's government is building its election campaign on. Only on lies, on propaganda, and on manipulation. There is no positive theme there – he added.

12:35

Czarzasty:

I want no one to tell us we are pigs when we are at the cinema

- I want no one to interfere with culture, I want no one to tell us we are pigs when we are at the cinema. This is a scandal. I want culture to be free, public media to be independent, for TVP to finally tell the truth, for PiS to finally stop pitting Poles against each other - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty during the Million Hearts March.

12:35

Trzaskowski:

We Promise You a Poland Where No One Needs to Be Ashamed of a Government That is a Total Embarrassment Disconnected from Reality
- Remember, these elections are of fundamental importance. Because we promise you the Poland of tomorrow, the Poland of the future, the Poland of freedom, a Poland where no one needs to be ashamed of a government that is a total embarrassment disconnected from reality – said Rafał Trzaskowski at the March of a Million Hearts in Warsaw.

12:39

Tusk Greets Leaders of Other Democratic Parties, Kosiniak-Kamysz and Hołownia: "They Are Doing a Good Job"
- I want to greet those who have taken up their work, their actions, and are elsewhere today. The leaders of other democratic political parties, both Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Szymon Hołownia. They are doing their good work today - said Donald Tusk at the Million Hearts March in Warsaw.

12:49

Tusk:

The March of a Million Hearts Hasn't Even Started, and We're Already Almost a Million Strong
- This march hasn't even begun, and we're already almost a million strong - Donald Tusk said at the March of a Million Hearts in Warsaw.

12:50

Biedroń:

For years, darkness has reigned in Żoliborz, destroying Poland, but today here in Warsaw, and throughout Poland, we are more numerous than that hatred from Żoliborz.

- For several years, a few kilometers from here, in the north of Warsaw, in Żoliborz, darkness has reigned – a darkness that is destroying Poland, destroying women's rights, destroying minority rights, destroying Polish culture, destroying Polish local government, dividing Poles. But today, here in Warsaw, throughout Poland, there is hope, and we are more numerous than that hatred from Żoliborz, and that is why we will win – stated Robert Biedroń during the March of a Million Hearts.

12:50

Biedroń:

On This Stage, We Stand United, and I Believe You've Waited Too Long for This Declaration. We Are Ready to Win.
Today here in Warsaw, on this stage, we stand united, and I believe you have waited too long for this declaration, but it must be made from this stage today. We are ready for these elections. We are ready to win, we are ready to form a democratic, European, modern government, the entire opposition - stated Robert Biedroń during the Million Hearts March.

12:52

Biedroń:

An Appeal to All Our Friends, Wives, Partners, and Grandmothers. Girls, Go Vote!

- Today, from this stage, our message must be a message to all Polish women. I know what you feel when you see hatred, I know what you feel when those in power lay hands on you, but today our fear, your fear must be overcome, your rights must become our strength, your determination must become our strength. On October 15th, we must chase this government away. Girls, are you ready? So, an appeal to all our friends, wives, partners, and grandmothers. Girls, go vote - stated Robert Biedroń during the March of a Million Hearts.

- And you men, be in solidarity with women. Do it for your sons and for your daughters. Are you ready? On October 15th, we will win - he emphasized.

13:15

Tarczyński with a Plank at the PiS Convention:

It's a Symbol of PO's Words and Deeds.
This is that plank we heard about. And one could laugh at it, be ironic, make memes, or ignore it. If it weren't for the fact that this plank is a symbol of PO's words and deeds. Let's see what hides within their deeds under their artificial hearts, which they must stick on themselves to prove that they love Poland, as they claim – stated Dominik Tarczyński at the PiS convention in Katowice. Earlier, a spot was presented which used, among other things, the words of Bronisław Komorowski.

13:46

Witek:

There's a Serious Threat that Tusk and His Team Will Want to Reintroduce Raising the Retirement Age
There's a serious threat that Donald Tusk and his team will want to reintroduce the idea of raising the retirement age. Many times over the past few weeks, even not months, we have heard that Poles can work longer or that Poles should work longer. Let's not allow this, let's say 'no' on October 15th, let's go to the polls and decisively say 'no' – stated Elżbieta Witek at the PiS convention in Katowice.

13:55

Witek:

People like Tusk Will Be Written in History with the Blackest Ink, Like Those Who Signed the Confederation of Targowica
- This border that Donald Tusk has defined, the border of defending our country on the Vistula line, is essentially handing over almost half of the country and half of our citizens to the enemy. These are terrible decisions that we have learned about. It is a shameful decision, and people like Donald Tusk, with such decisions, will be written in history with the blackest ink, the same ink used for the pages where the Confederation of Targowica was once inscribed – stated Elżbieta Witek at the PiS convention in Katowice.

13:56

Witek to KO Candidate: You've Got it Wrong, Want to Run for Polish Sejm While Hating Poland? Perhaps You Meant to Run Elsewhere, Maybe for the Bundestag.

- I was supposed to begin my speech differently, but I was provoked into changing it by the statement of one of the Civic Platform candidates. She published a video online, you know what she said? She said she is ashamed to admit she is Polish. She said that abroad they say about us Poles that we are morons and idiots. You know what she said about those who vote for Law and Justice, that we are limited, uneducated, that we don't travel anywhere and have no idea about anything, and certainly have no idea what others think of us. This is a candidate from my beloved Lower Silesia, from Wrocław. Today, I would like to say to this candidate: Madam, you seem to have got something wrong. You want to run for the Polish Sejm while hating Poland. You probably wanted to run somewhere else entirely, maybe for the German Bundestag, but certainly not for the Polish parliament - stated Elżbieta Witek at the PiS convention in Katowice.

- Someone who hates Poland, of course, the sentences in this video were interspersed with Latin, but not the classical kind, you know what I mean. There is still time, madam, to withdraw. This lady also said something else, she said that these elections are manipulated and that the elections are rigged. Madam, the elections haven't happened yet, the elections are only on October 15th. I know you said you hope there will be subsequent elections. There will be, but I hope without you, on any list - she added.

14:16

Morawiecki:

We Will Win, But for That to Happen, We Still Have at Least 12 Sleepless Nights Ahead, Less Than 2 Weeks of Intense Work

- Poland faces a crucial choice, Poland faces a fight for victory. We will win, but for that to happen, we still have at least 12 sleepless nights ahead, less than 2 weeks of very intense work. I ask all of you for this - stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:18

Morawiecki:

In the election, Poles will answer the question of whether Poland will exist

- Poland faces a most fundamental, essential choice. Because in these upcoming elections, Poles will answer the question not only of what Poland will be like, or whose Poland it will be, but an even more important, the most important question. Whether Poland will exist, whether Poland will continue to exist. We will answer the question of whether Poland will be a European 'Land', a European province, or a sovereign country. We will answer the question of whether we will have a social policy, a real one, including towards people with disabilities – stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:20

Morawiecki:

The Choice is Between Jarosław Kaczyński's Statesmanship and Angela Merkel's Protégé, Donald Tusk

- In reality, on October 15th, two visions for our homeland will be laid out before everyone. Jarosław Kaczyński's Polish vision and Donald Tusk's German vision. This is the choice: whether we want Poland to be governed by the statesman Jarosław Kaczyński or by Angela Merkel's political protégé, Donald Tusk. This is our fundamental choice - stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:23

Numerous documents which also confirm their intentions to let in illegal immigrants." Morawiecki at PiS convention with "Tusk's briefcase"

- This is Tusk's briefcase, this is a briefcase containing many documents, evidence which I will discuss further, much evidence and accusations, as well as plans and intentions of what Donald Tusk and Civic Platform want to do. This briefcase contains numerous documents which also confirm their intentions to let in illegal immigrants - stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:25

Tusk:

Over 1,000,000 White and Red Hearts in Warsaw

- Over 1,000,000 white and red hearts in Warsaw - Donald Tusk wrote on Twitter.

14:28

Morawiecki:

This is Tusk's Actual Plan

- They allowed these [VAT] mafias to graze and run wild here like the wind across wild fields. And they want to return to power so it can be like that again, to strip you of social policy, to strip you of 500+, soon 800+, the 13th and 14th [payments], major programs in local Poland. This is Donald Tusk's actual plan – stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:31

Morawiecki:

They did nothing, these dilettantes, bunglers, and simpletons. They allowed Poland to be robbed

- And what is this 260 billion? This is something that was very clearly shown to Donald Tusk, something that was also shown to him previously in the media, in publications. Nationwide newspapers sounded the alarm during Tusk's government. I have a lot of letters here to Tusk. Mr. Prime Minister, please do something, we are being robbed. They did nothing, these dilettantes, bunglers, and simpletons. They allowed Poland to be robbed, for VAT mafias, criminals to rob you, dear compatriots - stated Mateusz Morawiecki at a PiS convention in Katowice.

14:33

Morawiecki:

Millions of Poles Begged PO Not to Raise Retirement Age, But They Listened to One German – Merkel
- Contrary to their earlier promises, they raised the retirement age to 67 years for both women and men. [...] They lied to Poles, but why? Poles begged them: do not raise the retirement age, millions of Poles begged them. But they listened to one person, specifically one German woman – Angela Merkel. Tusk listened to Angela Merkel, who whispered it in his ear to raise the retirement age. That's how reality looked during the PO government’s rule – stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:39

Morawiecki:

We Will Defend Polish Agriculture Against Ukrainian Agro-Oligarchs

- I also want to say that we will defend Polish agriculture against Ukrainian agro-oligarchs - stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the Law and Justice (PiS) convention in Katowice.

14:39

Morawiecki to Zelensky: I Warn You, Germany Will Always Want to Make Deals with the Russians Over the Heads of Central European Countries

- Recently at the UN, President Zelensky said very inappropriate words. I understand that he now thinks he will have a close alliance with Germany. I warn you, Germany will always want to make deals with the Russians over the heads of Central European countries - stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:42

Morawiecki:

The Real Risk of Closing the Schengen Border is if Tusk Comes to Power

- The real risk of closing the Schengen border is when Tusk, God forbid we don't let this nightmare happen, comes to power, and then they will let in these illegal immigrants. We cannot allow that – stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:44

Morawiecki:

Average Salary in Poland to Reach at Least PLN 10,000 in 4 Years
- The average salary, which today exceeds well over 7,000 zlotys, and we are upholding our promise for the coming years. In 4 years, it will be at least 10,000 zlotys in average salary - stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:49

Morawiecki:

Let's Defend the Good Name of Our Beloved John Paul II. PO Wants to Destroy His Image. They Have Films Ready to Release After the Elections

- PO wants to destroy his image, strip schools and hospitals of his name. They are orchestrating a festival of contempt, they already have films ready, and they intend to release them after the elections, because they are afraid now. That is why I warn against this; let us defend the good name of our beloved John Paul II - stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:53

Morawiecki to the Undecided: 'Turn Off Onet, TVN, and the Internet. Look Around You.'

- I want to appeal to everyone who is hesitating, who still doesn't know whether to vote for PiS or some other party. I want to ask you for one thing, to appeal to all of you. You may like PiS a lot, you may like it less, you may dislike it very much, unfortunately, there are such people too. I want to ask for one thing: turn off the internet for 1-2 days, disconnect from all those Onets, TVNs, generally turn off the internet. Don't read these various articles, not even from 'symmetric' commentators, and do something else. Look around you. Go out into your municipality, your district, look around, see if there's a road that wasn't there before, a municipal or district road, or perhaps a new sports field - Prime Minister Morawiecki stated at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:54

Morawiecki:

Don't let yourselves be shouted down by these vulgarities, by this '8-star' pedagogy introduced by Tusk and PO

- Don't let yourselves be shouted down by these vulgarities, by this '8-star' pedagogy introduced by Tusk and PO. Don't let them destroy our dreams for the future, look at how much we've managed to achieve, what we've been capable of doing just in these 7-8 years - stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:56

Morawiecki:

We Face a Great Opportunity – Ensuring Poland Finally Catches Up to the West After Centuries, But Without Their Mistakes
- We now face a great opportunity, an opportunity for a great step, for a great undertaking. Such an undertaking that faces every, or almost every, generation. […] Now we face a great opportunity, a great undertaking, the opus magnum of our generation. This is the assurance that Poland will finally, after centuries, from the beginning of its history, catch up to the West and that Poles will live at the Western standard, but without the mistakes they made in the West - stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:58

Tusk on the March: "This is Certainly the Largest Political Gathering in the World Today"
- I want to tell you that there are more than a million of us. We are participating in a truly exceptional event today. And this is not about Guinness World Records. This is not about this being the largest political demonstration in the history of Poland, that this is certainly the largest political gathering in the world today. [...] My niece, who is abroad on business, sent me photos of French and Italian newspapers, and all of them feature our march. Yesterday, Europe lived with the faith and hope that Poland would once again become a one-hundred percent European, democratic, free state - said Donald Tusk at the Million Hearts March in Warsaw.

14:59

Morawiecki:

We Are Not the Party of TVN and Onet. PO Has the Vast Majority of Media. These Elections Are Not Equal

- Don't be afraid, go out onto the streets with leaflets. Distribute them. I implore you to do so, because we are not the party of TVN, not the party of Onet. They have immense support, and in that sense, we need you doubly. Because these elections are not equal, in that sense they are not fair, they are not just. They are not honest, because behind PO, behind Tusk, there is the vast majority of the media. Therefore, it is better to disconnect from these media for a moment, the majority of wealthy local governments, local government companies that pay money in various ways for their activities. This is visible in various advertisements as you travel across Poland, in the support of big businesses, oligarchs, and also those some of the worst Brussels bureaucrats who are deliberately withholding the KPO until October 15th – stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

14:59

Morawiecki:

Compatriots, do not be lulled by those siren songs accompanying the music flowing from Berlin or Moscow
This prosperity at a Western level depends on whether we mobilize, whether the nation awakens, whether the deep nation awakens. Dear compatriots, do not let yourselves be lulled by those siren songs accompanying the music flowing from Berlin or Moscow. Do not let yourselves, because it could be a fatal mistake – stated Mateusz Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

15:01

Morawiecki:

If We Defeat PO and Send Tusk Back to Berlin, the Civic Platform Will Likely Split, and That Will Be a Very Good Day for Poland

If we manage to defeat PO, to send Tusk packing, where to? To Berlin, yes, that's right, then PO will probably split, disintegrate, and that will be a very good day for Poland. Therefore, let's work towards that – stated Prime Minister Morawiecki at the PiS convention in Katowice.

15:07

Kaczyński:

The Goal is to Prevent Tusk's System from Returning to Poland. He Knows What He's Doing, Where the Sweet Spots Are.

- To win, alongside the need for mobilization, faith, determination, and work, there's also the need to thoroughly understand what this is all about. At one point, I wanted to use a word or phrase that would capture the essence of the matter. But I have a good memory for history, for the lessons learned from history, about what we are fighting for. It was the program of the PZPR, so I won't say what we are fighting for, what it's about. So, it's about preventing Tusk's system from returning to Poland. Yes, Tusk's system. Because Tusk, as the Prime Minister very aptly put it here, has many fools around him, but he himself isn't a complete fool. And he knows what he's doing, where the sweet spots are, he knows it well - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Katowice.

15:10

Tusk at the March: Here is the Nation, Here is Poland
- A moment comes, a time, we don't quite know from where. Where does this impulse come from. Where does it come from that suddenly thousands and millions of lonely people, pessimistic, without faith in victory, suddenly transform into a true national community, and then no authority stands a chance if it destroys, if it harms this national community. I see it very clearly. Here is the nation, here is Poland – said Donald Tusk at the Million Hearts March in Warsaw. - We shout these words 'here is Poland' at many of our meetings, and not because it's some slogan. We are Poland. You hold the white and red banners in your hands today, because it is us, because it is you who are the Polish nation – he added.

15:24

Tusk:

I Remember When Poles Believed in Great Causes, They Could Build Solidarity and Political Unity
- It's hard to imagine today, but in a sense, Professor [Strzembosz] and I were on opposite sides of the political barricade. Do you know when? Back when there was true democracy. We had somewhat different views on some matters. Did it ever occur to anyone, to Professor Strzembosz or to me, to harbor hatred or contempt for each other? - Donald Tusk said at the March of a Million Hearts in Warsaw. - Look at these people, look at Wałęsa, who is rooting for us, at Biedroń, who was so moved and spoke so beautifully today, at Professor Strzembosz, look at yourselves, at the Greens, at politically engaged Catholics, at liberals, at socialists. [...] I remember, and some of you remember, that when Poles, when Polish women and men believed that it was about these great causes, they were able to build this solidarity, this political unity - he continued.

Kaczyński:

It was Tusk's party representatives who said everything, even prisons, should be privatized

- It was precisely the representatives of Tusk's party who used to say that everything, even prisons, should be privatized. It was he himself, many years ago, still a young but already adult man and an active politician, who used to say or even write that perhaps people would die of hunger, but this liberal system should be introduced in the economy – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Katowice.

Kaczyński:

Which Museum, Built with a Huge Sum of Money, Was Rapidly Constructed? The Museum of the Second World War, Dubbed Tusk's Gift to Merkel

- Which museum, built with a very large sum of money, was rapidly constructed. The Museum of the Second World War. This is the museum that was called Tusk's gift to Merkel. A museum where Poland's role in World War II was, as much as possible, minimized, where elements that led to the dilution, one might say, of responsibility for initiating this war were highlighted. A museum that diminished the value of Polish efforts during World War II in its exhibitions, one might say a museum that was and continues to be a tribute, albeit significant changes have occurred, but they could not be fully implemented, to some, today already minor, elements of German historical policy - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Katowice.

- This comparison is the best here. On one hand, the building of Polish self-confidence, the building of Polish pride. On the other hand, the building of Polish shame. National micromanagement. That's how it can be described, but it was necessary - he added.

15:32

Tusk:

We Have a Truly Wonderful Nation, Only the Government is Hopeless
- You know, when it's so difficult to unleash that energy, that potential, that strength that slumbers within us all. When dwarves rule a great nation, then... I'm talking about political dwarves, I'm not making fun of centimeters in any way, nobody will talk me into that – stated Donald Tusk at the March of a Million Hearts in Warsaw. - We have words a bit similar to the Marshal's. We have a truly wonderful nation, only the government is... I won't continue that quote here, hopeless – he continued.

15:38

Kaczyński:

Nowhere in the World, Outside of Poland, is There Total Opposition

- Do you know of any total opposition existing anywhere in the world, outside of Poland? You don't, and rightly so, because it doesn't exist. It's simply a new idea, an idea for an opposition that, in essence, respects no democratic rules, that, in essence, rejects democracy – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Katowice.

15:38

Tusk:

I'm Ready to Beg, on My Knees, and Say 'Vote for These Children'
- I am ready to go to some people on my knees and say, "Vote for these children." [...] For some, this may be the last vote in their lives, for some it will be the first vote in their lives. But in reality, this may be the most important vote in our history since '89. This may be a vote that, if we are not effective, could be the last vote for years - said Donald Tusk at the March of a Million Hearts in Warsaw.

15:41

Kaczyński:

Another Element of Tusk's System is the Lack of Broad Media Pluralism

- Another element of Tusk's system, which I must mention. This is, on the one hand, the lack of any broader-scale pluralism in the media. There were some cracks in that system, there were, one could say, glimpses, there was a small free press, which, incidentally, was heavily oppressed in various ways, one could say persecuted, but generally the message of the mass media, then still important, very important, because today it is important, but television less so, but also the internet message, was essentially uniform. It was uniform, it was a great support for the authorities, as if it were a completely different, undemocratic system, because that's how it is in undemocratic systems - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Katowice.

- At the same time, a campaign against the opposition was ongoing. A campaign against everyone who could in any way threaten this system. A campaign that took on extremely harsh forms. A campaign that did not spare even those tragically fallen after the Smolensk air disaster. A campaign that was created wherever any resistance to what was happening in Poland could be expected, or where such resistance actually took place. That's why poverty could be tolerated. That's why the retirement age could be raised, and this was on orders issued by phone, in this case from Germany, because that's how it was - he added.

15:42

Tusk Vows to End the Polish-Polish War the Day After the Election
- Today I also want to vow to you to end the Polish-Polish war the day after the election. It's a bit like this, you know, once you chase away the aggressor, there's no longer a reason for war - said Donald Tusk at the March of a Million Hearts in Warsaw.

15:44

Kaczyński:

Tusk Claimed a Million People in Warsaw, While Photos and Police Reports Indicate 60,000
- The total opposition and powerful media [...] that support it are capable of twisting everything. They are capable of saying, for example, that today in Warsaw, as Tusk said, there were a million people, even though both photos and police statements indicate there were 60,000 - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a PiS convention in Katowice.

15:53

Kaczyński:

They intend to liquidate democracy in Poland

- Remember that they will do everything, even in these next two, already less than two weeks, to have their way, so that the Tusk system returns, and if it returns, then the realization of its three pillars - that is, internal plunder, German interests, Russian interests - will simply force those who represent it, even if they didn't want to, to take everything, to restore what was, but in a much harsher form. Because they don't hide it today, although they don't say it as directly as I will say it in a moment - they intend to liquidate democracy in Poland, any traces of the rule of law whatsoever - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Katowice.

- What does it mean that they announce an attack on state institutions, on independent institutions simply by physical force. Strong men are to sort this out, to escort them out. What is this supposed to mean, what does it have to do with the rule of law? What does it have to do with democracy? What does it have to do with this constitution they constantly wipe their mouths with? - he emphasized.

15:57

Kaczyński:

Tusk's System Largely Arose Because Tusk Had Far-Reaching Ambitions Beyond His Capabilities

- They cannot pursue their purely private ambitions, purely private interests, because Tusk's system largely arose because Tusk had certain ambitions, far-reaching ambitions, which, and I will be mild here, were somewhat too great for his capabilities - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Katowice.

16:03

Kaczyński Points to a "Millennial Goal." "It Greatly Displeases Our Neighbors"
- We must support the only party that can prevent all of this, that can lead us towards this millennial goal, which is to catch up with the wealthy countries of Western Europe. And not someday, in 50 or 100 years, but within the next ten, a dozen or so years, and by those dozen or so years I mean Germany […]. This is our goal today, a goal that is achievable, but it greatly displeases our neighbors - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Katowice.

17:16

Hołownia:

Many of our activists were at the March of a Million Hearts. Apparently, the atmosphere was great, we are happy about that
- Today there were big events, in Warsaw, in Katowice. Many of our activists were also at the one in Warsaw. We warmly greet them, the atmosphere was reportedly super nice. Kind people, smiling at each other. We are happy about that - said Szymon Hołownia in Nowy Sącz.

17:25

Hołownia:

At the PiS Convention, I Saw Fear. Their Only Idea Today is 'Be More Afraid,' the Enemy is Always Lurking
- I also watched the PiS convention with one eye. I know how much hope PiS brought in 2015 and 2019, how many people believed in that hope. But you know what I saw there today? […] I saw fear. The only idea they have today is fear, it's 'be more afraid,' it's 'let's get even more scared.' The enemy is always lurking somewhere, Kosiniak-Kamysz, Hołownia, this one or that one, Germans, Spaniards, Slovaks, the Baltic Sea. Who's next? - said Szymon Hołownia in Nowy Sącz.

- Today we say clearly and unequivocally: this must end. We don't want to be afraid of each other. We want to respect each other, we want to work together, we want to stand shoulder to shoulder in these two weeks, regardless of who voted for whom, and finally move forward, not backward into quarrels and disputes - he continued.

18:56

Kaczyński:

We Truly Don't Lie, While They Have Based All Their Political Campaigns on Lies

- I can say that one side, which I represent among others, although of course I haven't convinced anyone of this, is not holy, does not consist of ideals. Because it's hard to find perfect people in this world, but we truly do not lie. Meanwhile, they have based all their political campaigns on lies for many years – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Włoszczowa.

19:02

Kaczyński:

Tusk's Party is German, Not Polish

- Tusk's party is also an external party, it's a German party, not a Polish one - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at the PiS convention in Włoszczowa.

19:11

Kaczyński on the Visa Affair: Several People Are in Prison, One Was Removed from the Parliamentary List. What More Can We Do?
- Now, this whole visa affair, for example, is one big lie, an insolent lie. Out of over 260 visas, where it was only about speeding them up, and indeed someone here committed an abuse, and for that they have already answered, several people are already in prison, one who is politically responsible has been removed from the parliamentary list and has ceased to be a deputy minister. What more can we do in this matter? We have shown that the state is functioning as it should, and they are trying to make a big scandal out of it, lying to our faces while simultaneously having the support of Mr. Scholz, who publicly proclaims in Germany that there is a huge scandal here – said Jarosław Kaczyński in Włoszczowa.
