There's this information about 5,000 helmets that were sent with such difficulty from Germany to Ukraine, but it's clear President Zelensky's calculations are different. - From a Polish perspective, it's indeed a big disappointment. It's not even the most important thing how many billions of zlotys we've transferred; the most important thing is that we opened our homes and hearts to refugees from Ukraine, women and children. It's one of the possible scenarios [that no one will form a government, and Confederation will not enter a coalition], but there are also others, for example, that the government that will be formed by the centrist-left opposition will be helpless, because it will be blocked by the president's veto and many constitutional institutions that have been taken over by PiS, and we will have a year or two of wrangling, followed by accelerated elections. A PiS government that very quickly loses its majority is also possible - stated Krzysztof Bosak on RMF FM.

- We have many factors indicating simply unfairness in the electoral process. I want to emphasize – not falsification of the election results, but unfairness. If we look at the presidential election results, there were indeed various doubts regarding elections in social welfare homes, where it turned out that President Duda received almost 100% of the votes in some places. However, unfairness encompasses everything that happens before. Please note that when elections were organized in Hungary, election day itself was a holiday, a holiday for democracy. Everything looked beautiful, colorful, nice, people went to the polls. However, all the bad things happened before, and unfortunately, we are observing this in Poland – said Adam Bodnar in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- In a way, the world is approaching this by looking at the scale of the victory, but also the scale of various irregularities. This is a bit of international politics; it's not a black-and-white picture. But the fact that the world will even ponder [election falsification] is humiliating for Poland – he continued.

We have a short border with Russia, but it could have been many times longer if not for the appropriate help at that time, because if Ukraine had not withstood the Russian onslaught in the first weeks, we could have Russia on a much wider scale today, as far as the Polish border is concerned, and that was the reason we helped Ukraine. - There are very real relationships, real relationships where each country looks after its own interest. This is obvious, one could say a truism when it comes to international relations. Similarly, we must look after our own interest, although we have supported, continue to support, and will support Ukraine in its fight against Russia, because it is in our interest - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

- We have transferred a truly large amount of weaponry [to Ukraine]. Support takes very different forms, and we will definitely not turn our backs on Ukraine, because defeating Russia in this war is in our interest. Russia is a mortal threat to Poland, to the entire region, to peace. It is in our interest for the region to be safe, for Poland to be safe, therefore the weaker Russia is, the greater our security is, and in this sense, of course, the war of the Ukrainians is our war, but regardless of that, we must look after our interests, and in this case, this interest between Poland and Ukraine is not convergent, I'm talking about agriculture - added the head of MAP.

- We have proven throughout our entire period of government that we are a government that cares about the interests of Poles and we have never left Poles in crisis situations. And here I can also assure you that if such a threat as the editor is currently talking about arises, we will of course react and will never allow the price of energy in Poland for households to be prohibitive, meaning that energy will suddenly become a luxury good – stated Jacek Sasin on Radio Plus.

– Yesterday marked the premiere of Agnieszka Holland's film, Green Border. I have been searching for a suitable word to describe this work for a long time, and I believe the best word to capture this film is a disgusting libel. This film depicts, in an extremely unfair, unwarranted, and damaging way, Border Guard officers, the entire formation, such a professional formation as the Border Guard, and soldiers. All those who defend the Polish border at the risk of their own health and lives. This film slanders the good name of Polish officers, policemen, and soldiers. In many aspects, this film is a damaging depiction for the institutions of the Polish state, for the Polish state, and for Poles – said Błażej Poboży during a press conference.


– Since this film contains so many falsehoods and misrepresentations, presenting a false, untrue, and unfair image of all the officers I have mentioned, the formations, Poles, the Polish state, and the institutions of the Polish state, we, as the leadership of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, have decided that this disgusting libel will be preceded by a specially prepared spot in art house cinemas across Poland, which will highlight the elements that were missing from the film – added the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration.

- Yesterday, Mr. Andrzej Duda was kind enough, without knowing Agnieszka Holland's film, to say that only pigs sit in cinemas. We all know these words; they are the words of the underground state, of the Warsaw Uprising insurgents, of Poles, Polish patriots, who lived under German occupation. The context in which Mr. Duda utters these words and the person, the work to which these words are directed, are very important. This is not fascist propaganda. This is a work by one of, if not the most outstanding Polish female directors, who had the courage to speak about Poland during dark communist times, when Mr. Duda was still at school - stated Sławomir Nitras at a press conference in Szczecin.

- This is Mr. Duda's interference; these shameful words from the president place him in the same category as people like Gomułka or Stalinist regimes, which attempted, conducted witch hunts against creators, banned publications, and created colonels who confiscated paper - he continued.

- Duda's words today give me the authority to say that today, the statement 'only pigs sit in PiS' is more current, more true - Nitras added.

- Today I heard bitter and, in a way, very humble, modest words from our hosts. These were not words about earning more, but about the National Health Fund (NFZ) paying for what the hospital has performed. The hospital also has to pay for increasingly expensive electricity, for light, for heating - stated Donald Tusk at a press conference in Kalisz.

- The director rightly pointed out that lifting the limits, for this reason alone, will not increase the number of female doctors, male doctors, nurses, but it is a necessary condition. It is not enough, but it is a necessary condition to build a system for rational utilization of what we have at the beginning, so that an incentive system is created, encouraging more and more young people to come and save the lives of young people - he added.

- Poland is a serious country, even if for a long time we haven't had serious governance, Poland is a serious country. If Poland is to be shaken by some film, if the highest representatives, representatives of the authorities, the president, the prime minister, ministers, have engaged in reviewing a film, which they haven't even seen. You know, sometimes when I talk to my granddaughter and ask her if she liked a certain film, she answers me - 'Grandpa, I won't tell you anything about this film, because I haven't seen it yet'. She can afford such an answer, but these strange people cannot. These are strange people. If Mr. Ziobro is such a film enthusiast, he can write comments on Filmweb or reviews, if that is his calling. I have one serious message on this matter. They unleashed a rather vile campaign on this issue. The truth is that if anyone has insulted Border Guard officers, it is PiS. It is this government that, for payment, and sometimes through corruption, issued visas to nearly 300,000 people - stated Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Kalisz.

As studies show, over half of Poles get their knowledge about Poland and the world from online services. Social media is the fourth most popular source of information – after television, radio, print press, and online publications [1]. 45% of respondents use it. More than half (51%) claim to have encountered false information on social media, and 40% of respondents seek information from alternative sources. Eight out of ten adult Poles have experienced disinformation. According to them, too much false content found online divides society. Only 22% of respondents have encountered the activities of fact-checkers (institutions and services verifying information appearing in the media), and only 5% use their knowledge as a source of information.

The Polskanatle.pl service is a project implemented by NASK, which is long-term oriented towards building awareness of the quality of data and information in public debate. - Today, as the Civic Coalition club, we are filing a criminal complaint concerning the actions of police officers who carried out this unlawful arrest [of Kinga Gajewska]. They committed assault and battery, but we also demand that the prosecutor's office reveal the individuals who issued such orders. The police officers were aware from the very beginning who they were dealing with. The officers behaved like Kaczyński's political office, they disgraced their uniforms, and possibly committed a crime. But in addition, they prevented the public from being informed about the PiS visa scandal. This action was intended to intimidate those who participated in this event – stated Borys Budka at a press conference.

- No one in Poland has the right to be treated this way by the Polish police. No citizen, considering how Wąsik and Kamiński have involved the Polish police for years in suppressing legal protests. This is something for which they should be prosecuted. I will remind you that these two gentlemen, Wąsik and Kamiński, are two people who were already once convicted by a court of first instance for abuse of power. Today, the oversight of the Polish police is in the hands of men who can only hold this position because a party colleague pardoned them – said Borys Budka at a press conference.

- This [film by Agnieszka Holland] is the biggest slander against Polish uniformed services in truly unforgettable times, the worst for Polish history. What was surprising was that the logo, the coat of arms of the capital city of Warsaw, appeared on the backdrop for this film. It turns out it wasn't by accident, because according to information from institutions subordinate to Rafał Trzaskowski, the capital city of Warsaw, along with the regional government of Mazovia, financed this scandalous production with an amount of 300,000 PLN. That is why I am asking Rafał Trzaskowski the question: how much did the capital city of Warsaw pay for the production and promotion of this slander against Polish uniformed services. Why is the production that tarnishes Polish border guards, soldiers, thanks to whom scenes that are everyday occurrences in Paris or other Western European cities are not happening in Warsaw today, being financed with the money of Warsaw residents? - stated Sebastian Kaleta during a press briefing.

- PO and the opposition voted against this barrier [on the border]. Because, in my opinion, PO's plan is to let in illegal immigrants here, it is the implementation of what we managed to defend Poland from. Because far from everyone wants to defend Poland from illegal immigration, from a surge that can lead to chaos and destabilization - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing.

- The film "Green Border" by Agnieszka Holland is just hitting cinemas. This film is propaganda paving the way to dismantle the border with Belarus. For me, it's absolutely unequivocal. The way the Polish uniform is slandered, the way the Polish uniform is vilified, the way officers and soldiers are insulted through this film, is something unprecedented and worthy of the highest condemnation. However, before this film, pseudo-elites are rolling out the red carpet, and I would primarily like to thank the Border Guard officers, the police, and the soldiers of the Polish Army for their excellent cooperation among themselves, with the population, and with the people living in the border voivodeships - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing.

- Those who don't know what life's joy is, what family love is, what the pleasure of sports and fun is, shouldn't push themselves into power. - Given that the film you mentioned is a deeply untrue film, one that offends border guards, police officers, soldiers, our defenders of the eastern border, we decided that the leadership of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, in art-house cinemas, because that's what we could afford, would purchase a social advertisement before the screening of this deceitful and reprehensible film. - Polish foreign policy is not, after all, run by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, or even the Prime Minister. Only by Kaczyński, who is the kind of guy that when he enters a room, the chairs start arguing with each other. They wanted an alliance with Israel, they ruined it.
