Saturday's Political Schedule: PiS Program Conference, KO's "100 Concrete Steps for 100 Days," Lewica's Program Convention, and Third Way's Congress

At 9:00 AM in Wawrzeńczyce, Agrounia leader Michał Kołodziejczak will hold a press conference where the first concrete proposal from Civic Coalition regarding agriculture will be presented. Following the conference, Agrounia activists will head to the Civic Coalition convention in Tarnów.

- At this conference, we are also talking about the first concrete proposal that AgroUnia is bringing to the elections, and today we are presenting it among our concrete plans. We commit to establishing a stabilization fund in Poland and ending the delays in payments for food supplied by farmers to shops, collection points, and intermediaries. It cannot be the case that the state in Poland shirks responsibility for what is happening. Today, many fraudsters, tricksters, and swindlers do not pay on time for delivered products, they delay payments, and often they never pay at all. Farmers or producers of this food then have to go to court, which doesn't work. They report these cases to the prosecution, which does nothing about them, and so they do not receive money for their delivered products – stated Michał Kołodziejczak at a press briefing.

- We clearly state: UOKiK [Office of Competition and Consumer Protection] will receive special prosecutorial powers and will act as a prosecutor for ordinary people, ordinary citizens, in whose defense it will stand and whose rights it will pursue. - Next year, spending on the army is expected to be around 150 billion [PLN], and probably ⅓ of that will be allocated to arms purchases and the modernization of the Polish army. It's good that there is modernization; we are in favor of maintaining contracts, but we have one caveat regarding this matter: there must be investment from those from whom we purchase here in Poland, in order to fulfill our next guarantee. 50% of military equipment will be purchased from Polish companies [...]. Military equipment constitutes 50%, the other 50% is purchased abroad. 50/50 in arming the Polish army.
