Autumn Impact Conference Moves to a New Location. See You in Poznań!
After four years in Krakow and two seasons of hybrid presence in Warsaw, Impact is moving to Poznań. The event will take place on October 27-28 at the Poznań International Fair. – After months of analyzing the potential of Polish cities and regions and dozens of discussions across Poland, we are convinced that strategic cooperation with Wielkopolska, Poznań, and the Poznań International Fair will allow us to take a decisive step towards creating an internationally competitive event with global ambitions within a few years – said Urszula Hasiec, president of the Impact Foundation. Since its inception, Impact has been an important event on the Polish conference market and has a significant impact on the development of innovation in the regions where it organizes its events. This year's autumn Impact event consists of 2 days of conferences on 4 stages, featuring over 400 speakers across 16 thematic tracks, totaling 55 hours of meetings. Live broadcasts of all speeches and panel discussions will be available on the largest and most important economic services in Poland: WP.pl, money.pl, forsal.pl, and 300Gospodarka.pl. During the autumn edition, the Money.pl Economic Award will be traditionally presented. The Poznań International Fair, the host of the event, is undergoing a transformation: the new architecture of the venue allows for an increase in the scale of projects organized there. – MTP Group, as the organizer of the most important industry events in Central and Eastern Europe, has been actively supporting the Polish economy for a hundred years, creating a space for the exchange of ideas for communities related to business, innovation, and entrepreneurship. I am glad that the organizers of Impact have chosen Poznań and the grounds of the Poznań International Fair – emphasizes Tomasz Kobierski, CEO of MTP Group. – Our goal is not to organize a single event; we would like the exchange of views during the Impact conference to become a spark that ignites long-term cooperation at the business, public-private, or scientific-academic level. Raising the prestige of the location is also an opportunity to attract the most talented students, influential scientists, start-ups, and venture capital investors, as well as direct investments from global corporations – said Michał Kamiński, vice president of the Impact Foundation. What distinguishes the Impact conference is the participation of many foreign guests – strategic corporate partners include major companies with global reach, such as Mastercard, Google, Microsoft, IBM, Allegro, AstraZenca, Roche, Pfizer, Volkswagen, Deutsche Telekom, Uber, and Orange. Impact is visited by global-level managers – the event's stage in May this year hosted, among others, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki. Impact is an excellent opportunity to present the region's potential to international economic decision-makers. – The experience of 5 years and 14 events has confirmed our belief that with the active support of city and regional authorities, the benefits of our event – for both its guests and organizational and regional hosts – can be much greater. We believe that together we can create a unique event, which will result in productive cooperation undertaken in many fields – believes Urszula Hasiec. Impact is also a high-profile economic and political event. Among the announcements made at Impact events were: the launch of the Start in Poland program, the premiere of GovTech Polska, and the National Reconstruction Plan. Within the framework of Impact Connected Edition’20, a V4 Group working session on the future of the automotive sector was held, and during Impact mobility rEVolution’19, the Polish-Korean Economic Forum, as well as the Polish premiere of the first fully electric model in the Volkswagen group – VW ID.3. – I am delighted that the organizers of a conference of such renown have decided to move it to Poznań – says Jacek Jaśkowiak, Mayor of the City. – This is further proof that the capital of Wielkopolska is one of the most important business centers on the map of Poland. Thanks to events like this, we can not only excellently present the economic potential of Poznań and the region, the organizational capabilities of the fair itself, but also establish concrete cooperation with new investors.
