- I don't agree that the European Parliament elections were a catastrophe. It certainly wasn't the result we expected, but generally speaking, a 6% difference with not very high mobilization of our electorate is absolutely recoverable - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- My main conclusion is that consolidation is absolutely necessary. Not complete [in the European Parliament elections]. It can be broader, because please remember that Wiosna received almost a million votes, and currently we are also working with local government officials to support the opposition in these elections. The second issue is the matter of developing very concrete programmatic proposals that reach specific groups, just as we did in Warsaw - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego."

- Regarding programmatic proposals, they must be well-prepared, discussed with Poles, and only then presented at the end of August. And this is happening, program work is ongoing, discussions in smaller municipalities, and our politicians are constantly traveling, especially those who will likely be on the lists later - added the Mayor of Warsaw.

- Are there reasons for concern? Yes, there are. Primarily because different opposition politicians have very different ideas about what the future should look like, and that worries me. However, is the situation tragic, as many commentators who, as I read, don't even analyze the situation but just lament all the time, want it to be? - I believe we must do both [go to the elections with both PSL and SLD]. I repeat again and I am not changing my mind. The d'Hondt system is ruthless. If we have two opposition coalitions, and even one gets 30%, and the other 14%, and PiS gets 45% or 46%, then PiS will rule. - We prepared 43,000 places. And there will be 47,000. But I want to say one thing. Conditions in schools will be unbelievably difficult. And please, ask the government why this is the case, why there is a shortage of teachers, why children will be in school until 8 PM, why we will have to consider introducing one-way traffic on one floor and the other on another floor - emphasized the Mayor of Warsaw.

"Worldview issues will also be present in this campaign. We cannot pretend they won't be, because if we make such an assumption, we will be naive politicians, as PiS will benefit from it. For the first time in history, we have built such a broad coalition. We've learned in this campaign that there are certain things we still need to refine in the autumn" - said Sławomir Neumann, the head of the Civic Platform-KO club, in an interview with Piotr Kraśka on Radio TOK FM's Poranek.

„I believe that it will be the European Coalition, with the same composition, probably enlarged by some activists from Spring, because it's evident that this project is closing and ending. I think it will be one, strong opposition list that will have a real chance of winning the elections in October” - said the head of the Civic Platform-Kukiz'15 (PO-KO) parliamentary club, Sławomir Neumann, in an interview with Piotr Kraśko on Radio TOK FM's "Poranek".

"I believe that programmatically we will also reach an agreement, because it must be a common, unified program. There cannot be voices that will break it apart, because our competitors will exploit that," said the head of the Civic Platform-KO club, Sławomir Neumann, in a conversation with Piotr Kraśko on TOK FM Radio's Morning Show.

"I believe that civil partnerships are absolutely a topic for discussion. The question is about the scope, what they should cover, what rights they should have. I cannot speak for the entire coalition or for the Platform, because we have not yet included this in our program. If you ask me, I believe that civil partnerships are absolutely a 'yes,' in relation to medical information in hospitals, tax matters, and inheritance. In the first weekend of July, we have a program conference prepared; it will take place in Katowice. It will not conclude with a program presentation. It will constitute a discussion on the PiS program. This is a reference to our conference from 4 years ago. We want to summarize the program that we developed then. - This was a wrong decision by Minister Klich, and thus a minister from Civic Platform, who rejected the US offer formulated in the years 2008-2010, the offer for Poland to join the F35 production program. That was a fundamental mistake, and then Klich's successor, Minister Siemoniak, continued this process of maintaining old, post-Soviet aircraft. It was an artificial maintenance of these aircraft, they extended the service life of this equipment to 40 years. By doing so, they endangered Polish pilots because these aircraft are obsolete. They have no combat value - stated Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Paweł Lisicki in "Trójka Political Salon".

„At this moment, this merger has started to make sense. It didn't make sense before two elections [local and European Parliament]. And now it is starting to. This is because it is already known that we are running together, that we are forming a coalition. We are, after all, in agreement on a joint start in the 2019 parliamentary elections. We are probably the first partner to enter into a coalition so unequivocally” – said the leader of Nowoczesna, Katarzyna Lubnauer, in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

“Reports of our death are greatly exaggerated. There are no such plans [for a merger between PO and Nowoczesna]. However, this must always be a decision primarily of the party members and party structures. At the moment, we are in a coalition that is running together in the autumn elections. We are in a common parliamentary club. This club is intended to leverage the synergy of both groups, their differences” - said the leader of Nowoczesna, Katarzyna Lubnauer, in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

- There are many such voices [within the Civic Coalition suggesting PSL should run together in a coalition], but we believe the most probable scenario is the PSL-Koalicja Polska scenario. We see ourselves in an alliance with the Civic Platform only and exclusively when the Platform does not veer too strongly to the left. We are open to discussions on a clean EPP, PO-PSL project. We do not agree that any sensible program can be formulated in a broadly understood coalition from Biedroń to PSL, because there are too many ideological differences - stated Piotr Zgorzelski in an interview with Wojciech Dąbrowski on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

Today, these individuals are living in uncertainty as to whether there will be places available or if classes will be held in the morning. We demand that the Minister of Education, and all those in power, address this matter and ensure that every student can continue their education in their chosen school” - said PSL chairman Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference in the Sejm.

"The flagship program that PiS announced, namely "Clean Air", is practically not working. So far, 58,000 applications have been submitted to this program, but only 13,000 have been processed. Around 400,000 applications should be processed annually for the program to start bringing results. This program has its EU funding at risk because the European Commission demands its decentralization. Today, the Minister of Environment has structured it in such a way that only provincial branches of the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management can accept and process applications. This is a lengthy and tedious procedure" - said Robert Kropiwnicki from PO-KO at a press conference in the Sejm.

"Today, there is a risk of around 30 billion in EU subsidies because the EC demands its [the program's] decentralization, as it is inefficient. We demand the decentralization of this program so that these funds reach residents faster" - he added.

"There will be more smog because the government is faking the fight against smog. This fight is limited to press conferences with the Prime Minister when Poles can feel smog in the air, and when it is necessary to work on replacing furnaces in spring, summer, and early autumn, it turns out that government institutions are inefficient, unable to function, and Poland is losing EU money" - said PO spokesman Jan Grabiec.

- Today, truly speaking about what the future [European] Commission will look like, I think Prime Minister Morawiecki knows best.
