The welcome of Iceland's Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir by Prime Minister Donald Tusk is scheduled for 3:00 PM. The meeting between the heads of government will commence immediately afterwards. A meeting of the delegations is planned for 3:20 PM.

- Through the SAFE program, Polish taxpayers can save between 36 and even 60 billion Polish zlotys - said Andrzej Domański in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- It depends on whether we compare to Treasury bonds or bonds issued by BGK. The facts are that currently most of our equipment purchases are made through the Armed Forces Support Fund, which in turn is financed by BGK bonds. What does this mean? That we are closer to the 60 billion zloty mark - he continued.

- We are monitoring because you never know in this matter, but for now we are dealing with local flooding and it doesn't seem like the situation will change dramatically, but it always needs to be monitored and we are doing that on an ongoing basis - stated Marcin Kierwiński in the 'Piasecki's Conversation' program on TVN24.

- You are quoting a classic [that the forecasts are not overly alarming]. According to IMGW [Institute of Meteorology and Water Management] and Wody Polskie [Polish Waters], we do not currently have a flood threat, except in 3 places where alarm levels have been exceeded, but according to the IMGW forecast, the situation is expected to stabilize today. But as I said, all services are on standby, voivodes are on standby, and we are monitoring it on an ongoing basis - he continued.

- A completely flawed diagnosis for one reason. After all, we are interested in having as much order as possible within the coalition and its constituent parties. - We have the second-lowest unemployment in the entire European Union in Poland. The number of employed people in the Polish economy is growing. Labor force participation in the 20-64 age group is increasing. The number of people who do not want to participate in the labor market is falling - said Andrzej Domański in an interview with Polsat News, when asked about accusations regarding unemployment from Mateusz Morawiecki.

- Indeed, last year we had a labor market reform which, in a somewhat artificial way, caused these GUS (Central Statistical Office) statistics regarding the number of unemployed in the economy to rise - he continued.

- I assess the pace of introducing drones into the Armed Forces negatively; systemic changes in regulations concerning procurement, training use, and personnel adjustments are being implemented too slowly. The lack of decisions regarding the maintenance of certain current operational capabilities does not support the dronization process in the Armed Forces - stated President Karol Nawrocki during a meeting of the management staff of the Ministry of National Defence and the Polish Armed Forces.

- I expect from the leadership of the Ministry of National Defence, from the Prime Minister, the Minister, as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, urgent work also on the wartime command system and the submission for approval of documentation that falls within the statutory competence of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, that is, the organization and principles of operation of the wartime command system - stated President Karol Nawrocki during a meeting of the leadership cadre of the Ministry of National Defence and the Polish Armed Forces.

- I want to say clearly, as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, addressing more the Minister of National Defence, and more the Deputy Prime Minister of the Polish government, that there is and never will be my consent to such treatment of border defenders and Polish soldiers, and to the prosecution of Polish soldiers for protecting Poles. - To develop the best solutions that will serve Poland, a pro-state consensus is necessary. I do not rule out that within the framework of my legislative competences, I may initiate a new dimension for the enhanced defense cooperation agreement, adapted to the assumptions of the Polish national security strategy, the Polish constitution on security, as well as the American national security strategy and national defense strategy - stated President Karol Nawrocki during a briefing for the senior staff of the Ministry of National Defence and the Polish Armed Forces.

- Whether the conflict in Ukraine continues, or is frozen in any way, a ceasefire, peace, or even an armistice is reached, the threat to the Polish state will not decrease - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during a briefing for the leadership of the Ministry of National Defence and the Polish Armed Forces.

"Poland is the winner of this project. Not only did it conceive it and it was adopted under the Polish presidency in May last year, but it is also the biggest beneficiary among all the states - he continued.

- Poland, based on the technical modernization plan, strategic documents, and the needs reported by the General Staff [...], submits its proposals to the European Commission. - In Poland's history since joining the European Union, the principle of due diligence, questioning the due diligence of fund utilization, has never been applied. This is a fundamental principle that guides all agreements, but for credit agreements, this principle of due diligence in the use of funds, whether from the European Union, the United States, or Korea, is also present. - The financial stability, which the President mentioned, is absolutely crucial for national security, I agree 100%. No other program to support the armed forces, no other program for incurring obligations guarantees such security of funds for the future – he continued.

- It will largely concern the next parliamentary term, because it specifically pertains to 2028, '29 and subsequent years, which will be the responsibility of subsequent governments, subsequent Ministers of National Defence, subsequent Chiefs of the General Staff, subsequent soldiers of the Polish Army. This is a guarantee that is absent from the Armed Forces Support Fund. Those who submitted the project for the Armed Forces Support Fund a few years ago did not guarantee the security of the Ministry of National Defence budget, the budget of the Polish army, the budget of the armed forces in the way it is guaranteed in this submission – he went on to say.

- Absolutely, every soldier can count on my support. Recently, the soldier in question, whose incident occurred during the previous term, has been provided with all legal assistance since I took office, as we have established a legal aid team for soldiers - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during a briefing for the senior staff of the Ministry of National Defence and the Polish Armed Forces.

- We amended the law on the use of firearms so that soldiers have greater certainty when using weapons [...]. And I also disapprove of the prosecutor's actions, which, in my opinion, are overly zealous in approaching this type of conduct. I have a clear position on this: defending the border is defending the Polish state, and I will defend every soldier of the Polish Army - he continued.

- I see the Minister of Labour is in the chamber, so Madam Minister, I would like to ask you why you are cutting spending on aid for people who are losing their jobs? We already have the data, and it's clear that unemployment has increased by 72,000 people. People are afraid because in many sectors, finding work is taking longer and longer - stated Adrian Zandberg in the Sejm.

- Member of Parliament Zbigniew Kuźmiuk [...] presented Minister Krajewski with a prepared motion for the Court of Justice of the European Union to challenge the decision of the Council of the European Union of January 9 this year, which introduced, based on temporary provisions, an agreement with Mercosur countries, an agreement that is extremely harmful to Polish agriculture - said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

Today, our goal should be, regardless of how we assess ourselves here in parliament, how we like each other or dislike each other, that Poland should have a stable government - he continued.

- I would very much like, and I am addressing the President here, I would very much like our thinking on security matters to be unified, just as it is unified between Iceland and Poland, especially concerning the significant program for financing Polish security, SAFE - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

- Literally a few minutes ago, a message reached me that practically all organized economic circles in Poland, entrepreneurs, companies, employers, have joined the generals and officers of the Polish Army, and the Polish government in their appeals not to block funds for the Polish defense industry, for the Polish army, for that part of the Polish economy which determines security. We will all benefit from this - he said.

- I am counting heavily on the President's swift signature on this act. For the good of us all and for the security of Poland - he continued.

- These are not pleasant things, however, if you want to convince me of Donald Tusk's vision, where he sits in his Earth-spinning center and pushes buttons: 'Now we frame Hołownia for depression,' 'Now we attack his wife,' 'Now we'll do this,' after which he chuckles and says something to himself in German, I do not buy that vision - said Szymon Hołownia in a conversation with journalists.

- I think Donald Tusk has nothing to do with it, however, indeed some, how to put it, commentators, I don't know what to call them, 'patocontent' published by Eliza Michalik, the whole group gathered around Roman Gierych, 'Silni Razem' (Strong Together), media backings in various places, both in public and private media, they are already crossing all boundaries of what we criticized PiS for - he continued.

- We are submitting a motion of no-confidence for Minister Hennig-Kloska. Minister Hennig-Kloska is, in short, a disaster in every respect: substantive, managerial, ideological, a complete misunderstanding. This woman should not have become a constitutional minister, a member of the Council of Ministers, but unfortunately, it has happened. For another year, we are testing her unfortunately very questionable political and substantive capabilities - Krzysztof Bosak said at a press conference.

- The President has free will, he has a free mandate and will make an autonomous decision [regarding the SAFE act]. He is known for being independent of everyone, including us - said Adam Bielan in an interview with Marek Tejchman on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events) on Polsat News.

- Government propaganda is immense, I think Prime Minister Tusk is trying to use a kind of emotional blackmail: anyone who is against SAFE is against armament, which is exceptionally insidious, especially because Donald Tusk represented a camp that, particularly in Poland during his first term (2007-2014), was not associated with increasing army spending - Adam Bielan said on Polsat News.

- Let's be clear, I am truly a supporter of stability and calm. You can argue, what's important is what can be done until the end of this term, and what's important is how to prepare for the next term - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach" (Facts after Facts).

- I believe we can secure quick, large sums of money by issuing our own bonds, and we will not be bound by all these restrictions imposed on us by Brussels - stated Adam Bielan on Polsat News.

"While when it comes to economic issues, we can ponder such a choice, because Berlin is a very important trading and economic partner for us, then in the field of security, after recent years, no one can have doubts that it is solely Washington" – said Adam Bielan in Polsat News, when asked if the choice is only between Berlin and Washington and whether we should do everything to have an alternative.

- MPs have access to classified information. Do you know how many people, after the Law and Justice party's concerns, have looked and seen, and truly convinced themselves what is [on the list of purchases using SAFE funds] and what the basis is? I will answer - 35 people - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in "Fakty po faktach" on TVN24.

- I think Professor Czarnek is a rather modest person [...] at one time, President Jarosław Kaczyński said he wished him to be prime minister someday, so he is certainly a politician who carries the premier's baton in his backpack - said Adam Bielan on Polsat News.

- No fakery will pass in this matter. If Mr. Nawrocki does not sign this, he will be acting against the interests of the Polish state, against Poland's raison d'état. He will be, because we will be looking for other solutions - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach" (Facts after Facts).

- Trump, considering his decisions in his first term and currently, is one of the most pro-Polish presidents of the United States. He increased the contingent of American soldiers, and now he is deciding, in these weeks as we speak, whether to limit that contingent - said Adam Bielan on Polsat News.

- I hope that various provocations coming from this government, primarily through the statements of Marshal Czarzasty, but also Prime Minister Tusk or Minister Sikorski, will not change the positive decisions that President Karol Nawrocki negotiated on September 3rd when he was in Washington - he continued.

- I believe and I think that it will be explained sooner or later [Karol Nawrocki's past]. People will come who will tell the truth - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty on TVN24's “Fakty po faktach”.

- Be brave, Mr. President. Do what I did. Invite the heads of the services to your office, because you have the right to do so, tell them: check everything in my life concerning these matters - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty on TVN24's “Fakty po faktach”.

- Of course, these are further steps [charges for former heads of ABW and SKW], because [...] in fact, there isn't a week that goes by without investigative teams operating under the National Prosecutor or prosecutors in Poland pressing charges in various scandals that have affected Polish society - said Waldemar Żurek in an interview with Aleksandra Pawlicka on "Pytanie dnia" (Question of the Day) on TVP Info.

- Also, things that may not seem the most significant, but in the opinion of prosecutors, fulfill the characteristics of prohibited acts, as we say – meaning the improper or lack of certification of an aggressive program, which was intended for fighting terrorism, but in Poland was used completely recklessly - he continued.

- Services must use tools that are properly permitted in Polish legal circulation. The point here, it seems, was to keep this program secret all the time so that incriminating evidence could be gathered on various individuals - he stated.

- It was a program for political struggle within the country with the opposition and possibly also for gathering compromising material within one's own political camp. So, these are the charges today. But I am waiting for verdicts - he added.

- “A muzzle bis” and even more. This [presidential bill on courts] will be an attempt not only to muzzle Polish judges, but to put them on a leash - said Waldemar Żurek in „Pytanie dnia” (Question of the Day) on TVP Info.

- It seems that the president has perhaps overdone it. In my opinion, this is not just a shot in the foot, but in the knee. […] This law could never become law. […] Everyone – perhaps except for Minister Ziobro’s colleague, Ms. Dagmara Pawełczyk-Woicka, who threatens Polish judges with prison – believes that this is a complete misunderstanding. That it is simply a law worthy of an authoritarian regime, meaning that the president is to decide on all competitions and announcements - he continued.

- Punishing judges with up to 10 years of imprisonment for applying not only the rulings of European courts, but above all, of legal Supreme Court judges. Because we must remember that Polish Supreme Court judges, the undisputed ones, hold exactly the position that we can examine the status of appointment because we had an illegal National Council of the Judiciary - he continued.

- This [presidential] bill [...] was intended to intimidate judges. It was meant to say: “See what I can do to you in the future, what the political option that nominated me in the presidential election can do to you.” It just seems to me that the president overshot the mark here because he doesn’t understand the mentality of Polish judges - said Waldemar Żurek on TVP Info’s “Pytanie dnia” (Question of the Day).

- I was such a judge and I know that when judges see something like this, they simply become even more mobilized - he assessed.

- In my opinion, the Presidential Chancellery and Mr. Bogucki, who attacked me fiercely in his statements and in many online posts, they got scared, they fell into their own trap. They saw that we have a Plan B for vetoing the good law on the National Council of the Judiciary. And Plan B would be that judges would elect this representation for the KRS from the ground up - said Waldemar Żurek in "Pytanie dnia" on TVP Info.

- We saw Mr. Bogucki, who said: "Presidents who convene assemblies to carry out these grassroots elections will face charges under Article 231 of the Penal Code." So, I believe there is panic on board, because presidents can convene such assemblies on any important matter. The law on the organization of courts gives them grounds for this. So, this is a miscalculation, because I think panic set in that Plan B would succeed - he stated.

- Now we have a 'plan B' on the table for electing the National Council of the Judiciary. We are also beginning to address an issue of utmost importance: namely, creating the foundations for an independent Constitutional Tribunal - said Waldemar Żurek in "Pytanie dnia" on TVP Info.

- This is perhaps not procrastination, but as I see and perceive what is happening in the government, the entire SAFE project which was very absorbing, and a number of other current political and legal matters, it's simply not possible to do it any faster - he stated.

- We waited until December for an important ruling from the Court of Justice of the European Union, which clearly stated: "Ms. Przyłębska, who was elected in a similar manner as Mr. Święczkowski today, is not a correctly elected president. So-called substitutes or their successors cause the Tribunal not to be a constitutional court where they sit in its composition." - he continued.

When asked what would happen if the president refused to swear in the newly elected Constitutional Tribunal judges, he replied: - I also have a 'plan B' for that. I know it will be torpedoed, but please believe me, I keep my word.

- This year, I want these institutions that decide on the rule of law, that also protect citizens from the state, to regain their role in the separation of powers. So that they truly protect judges, their independence, that they select the best candidates and that they expedite court cases - said Waldemar Żurek in "Question of the Day" on TVP Info.

- Therefore, I will strive for this, and I see that for now, this plan is progressing step by step, very laboriously, because here we see the president and the entire opposition, who are constantly throwing sand in the gears. But I will ensure that the citizen sees that these institutions are finally independent and that they can be sure that we have a separation of powers - he declared.

- I think we will have the KRS by spring - announced the Minister of Justice.
