„Mr. Falenta has been convicted by a final court judgment. During the trial, there was time to reveal all information, which I believe he did as the accused to defend himself in this matter. These various accusations appearing in the media have nothing to do with reality” – said Minister Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Piotr Goćka in “Sygnały dnia” on Jedynka radio.

"It is interesting to observe the behaviour of the opposition and some mainstream media, for whom until recently Mr. Falenta was the source of evil and a symbol of everything that is worst, and today some would suddenly want him to become an authority and an oracle on various matters related to the so-called tape scandal," said Minister Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Piotr Gociek on "Sygnały dnia" on Jedynka radio.

"We have a structured program of action. We have undergone a reconstruction. With this government composition, we will implement the initiated reforms until the end of our term. This week, we have an away meeting of the PiS parliamentary club on Friday, where President Kaczyński will essentially task the MPs, the entire party, regarding election preparations. Soon, a campaign staff will be appointed by our party's statutory authorities, which will begin preparations, and in early July, a programmatic congress will be held, where we will present the program, or significant parts of the program, that we want to offer Poles as an idea for the next 4 years of our term" - said Minister Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Piotr Gociek on "Sygnały dnia" on Jedynka radio.

„Everything depends on tax solutions. Prime Minister Morawiecki very precisely announced at the convention that this possibility of broader support for people with disabilities is linked to Poland winning the case before the Court of Justice regarding the retail tax. From the very first moment the Prime Minister revealed this project, it was clear that this money [for the so-called 500+] would appear with the effective introduction of taxation of large retail stores. It will be difficult to effectively introduce this tax this year. In my opinion, it will most likely happen from next year” - said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet. 

“The fact that we won the European elections very decisively does not translate to the autumn elections, because an additional 2 million people will likely participate in those elections, and it is unknown how they will distribute their sympathies. If we had won and needed a coalition partner, Kukiz’15 has been my first choice for years. Biuro Analiz Sejmowych (the Sejm's Office of Analysis) has urgently reviewed three draft legislative proposals: a so-called amendment to the power bill, which is an amendment to the excise tax act and certain other acts, the energy efficiency act, and the biocomponents and liquid biofuels act, an amendment to the energy law, and changes to the Teachers' Charter, which include, among other things, an increase in the average salary of teachers, the introduction of a new starting benefit for probationary teachers, the determination of the minimum amount of the form master's allowance, and the shortening of the professional development path.

Everything indicates that the Sejm will work on PiS's proposals during its upcoming session, which begins on Wednesday. For the energy-related projects, the first readings will take place at a meeting of the Committee on Energy and State Treasury. In the case of the Teachers' Charter, the readings will be held in a joint session of two committees: Education, Science, and Youth, and Local Government and Regional Policy.

The justification for the amendment to the power bill explicitly states that it should enter into force before July 1st. We are still counting on information from the Prosecutor General during this Sejm session. If not, then a motion for an investigative committee,” announced Tomasz Siemoniak.

„The Prime Minister and the entire government believe that there are dates in Polish history that should be a matter of common concern for the entire Polish community, for the entire nation. That is why today, during the meeting [with President Dulkiewicz, the Prime Minister] emphasized the importance of these places of remembrance being properly looked after at a very high level. 0% PIT for young people is one of the proposals from the so-called "Kaczyński's Fifth," which until now has not been implemented due to resistance from the former Minister of Finance. According to the draft bill just published, the act is to come into force on August 1st of this year.

- The draft bill constitutes the implementation of announced changes in personal income tax concerning the abolition of PIT tax for young people up to the age of 26. The aim of these changes is to reduce the fiscal burden on young individuals employed based on an employment contract, cooperative employment contract, service relationship, homeworking contract, or mandate contracts. This is the first step towards reducing the tax wedge, which is the difference between what a taxpayer receives "net" and the amount a company spends on their employment - it was stated in the justification.

Reducing the burden for individuals with relatively low salaries will make it easier for young people to start working and simultaneously provide an opportunity for people working in the grey economy to return to the labor market. It will also contribute to improving the employment rate of young people and decreasing unemployment within this age group, as detailed further in the regulatory impact assessment. A stable professional situation and an improved financial situation for young people will also foster family formation and parenthood - it was noted.

Kukiz is invited. Preliminary talks have taken place. Kukiz himself still needs to decide which direction he wants to go, as he also has an invitation from PiS, from the Nationalists. We will see, the talks are ongoing. - For me, cooperation with this strategic partner [the USA] is immensely important. We will see what fruits this visit bears. - Effective tomorrow, Sylwester Tułajew will assume the position of Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration. The deadline for submitting applications for the position of the new President of the Supreme Audit Office (NIK) to the Marshal of the Sejm expires on July 28 – according to a letter seen by 300POLITYKA. It would be difficult to shorten this deadline, as the regulations clearly state that the aforementioned applications are to be submitted 30 days before the end of the current term.

Therefore – according to our information – it is not impossible that an additional, one-day session of the Sejm will take place in August. The last session of the Sejm before the summer recess is scheduled for July 17-19.
