"I've really had enough of these pointless attacks, really for nothing, and making news out of something that isn't news," said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" when asked about Szymon Hołownia's resignation from the role of vice-chairman of Polska 2050.

"We conducted elections normally [...] we implemented what doesn't happen in other parties, that is, very broad representation from the regions, both on the board and in the National Council, we changed the statute, these are facts that are happening, while Szymon Hołownia is doing what he announced very peacefully and consistently," she continued.

- First and foremost, he's making a huge mistake, because it is Ukraine today that needs money for reconstruction, and by not being at this conference, he is essentially issuing a challenge to what Ukraine needs, namely money for reconstruction - Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz said on TVN24, when asked if the President of Ukraine was mocking Prime Minister Donald Tusk by boycotting the conference in Gdańsk.

- He is definitely shooting himself in the foot; it is totally incomprehensible, it is another mistake after previous ones where, by absolutely falsifying historical truth, he glorifies a group that, yes, once fought the Soviets, but primarily was a criminal group that committed genocide against Poles - she continued.

- First and foremost, he is not making a mockery, but he is letting down all those he personally invited, and why did he invite them? Because Ukraine, devastated by Russia, needs money and investments and needs credibility [...] you invite people first, and then, with all due respect, you have a tantrum and don't show up; that's incredibly unserious - she went on to say.

- Of course, these are fragments of what the whistleblower doctor said. On the one hand, we are aware that he is in a serious dispute with the hospital. We wonder why he didn't speak up sooner, but we cannot dismiss it - stated Waldemar Żurek on RMF FM.

- I haven't received this letter [from Rafał Trzaskowski] yet, but actions are already underway. In fact, I've been on a hotline with the prosecutor's office since morning, so I will also be meeting with the prosecutor overseeing this investigation. I also know that a query has been initiated at the prosecutor's office; all cases concerning deaths in this hospital that were submitted to the prosecutor's office will be reviewed once again. This will be a comprehensive action; we cannot underestimate this, as the matter is too serious - stated Waldemar Żurek on RMF FM.

- I know that he will probably be questioned today. I received such information before entering the studio, that he will be questioned today. I would like all the evidence that the doctor points to to be secured as soon as possible - stated Waldemar Żurek in RMF FM.

- Those who are guilty should pay, starting with the doctor who clearly made a fortune - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVN24, when asked who should pay with their heads and positions for the scandal at the Southern Hospital.

- But this is a matter for the prosecution, I'm sorry, no, this is not a matter for some voluntaristic "I give it back, I don't give it back." I committed a crime, and this crime should be punished. Those overseeing the hospital and all those who allowed this to happen should be punished - she continued, after Konrad Piasecki pointed out that the doctor had lost his position and was returning the money.

- There is an evident arrangement in Warsaw that goes far, it should be investigated, punished, dismantled. Moreover, President Trzaskowski himself is dismantling it by quickly dismissing the management and the supervisory board, so he admits that this arrangement existed - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVN24.

"This comment, which saddens me, appeared after my very clear statement that we need to return to the postulate of professionalizing State Treasury companies [...] I also spoke about supervisory boards of hospitals, I spoke about that, and this is what the new policy is about: not staying silent during a crisis, but calling for a comprehensive change," said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVN24, when asked about Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz's words about her being "terribly lost.".

- The Minister of Justice has a plan [regarding the Constitutional Tribunal] which he is implementing step by step, in accordance with the law. I can promise you, we have a European court's safeguard today, that the state will demonstrate strength, it will demonstrate effectiveness. It is not a problem to bring police into the Constitutional Tribunal, but we must, in accordance with the law, ensure that Mr. Święczkowski stops treating the tribunal as his private farm. You are hitting the nail on the head here, it's not us who need to have it, but Poland needs more independent lawyers who will be judges elected by the parliament - stated Waldemar Żurek on RMF FM.

- I can promise our listener that in the autumn we will see a new face of a legitimate Constitutional Tribunal. Through democratic methods, not with a telescopic baton, but step by step, forward - stated Waldemar Żurek on RMF FM.

"PiS is now whining and acting like a political virgin, saying 'where is this change, we would have done everything.' Well, PiS was in power for 8 years and demolished the healthcare system, and we are supposed to fix it. We've had 1.5 years, so it's better late than never" – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVN24.

- This is a great day for Radom, for our security. A day of truth for those who tried to sow confusion, manipulation, and reluctance towards us investing as much money as possible in Polish armaments. We did not yield, and we will never yield to those who do not want to develop the Polish armaments industry, who do not want to utilize all European, NATO, national, or any other available funds - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Radom.

- This is the expectation of the State Treasury, the Polish government, that Polish companies should not only produce for the Polish army, because then we won't be able to develop globally, and we want the Polish arms industry to be the engine of the Polish economy, a driver of economic growth, meaning prosperity and security for all Polish families - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Radom.

"It seemed like things couldn't get any worse: fictitious employment, siphoning money from hospital funds, VIP lounges, and now falsification of medical documentation and patient deaths... To call it scoundrelism would be an understatement! Pathology!" - wrote Jarosław Kaczyński on X.

"Do you think Żurek's prosecution will explain this?! Not at all. It's time for an independent Public Trust Commission that will impartially and thoroughly investigate what's happening in Warsaw hospitals." - he noted.

"This commission should consist of, among others, lawyers, doctors, experts, representatives of social organizations, and individuals of public trust. This is not only a matter of knowing the truth, but also of patient safety in the future." - he stated.

- We are learning more and more. We know about a case where death is in the background, there is human suffering, there is likely desecration of corpses, and all this in a situation where party appointees, apparatchiks of Civic Platform, like an octopus, have taken over one of the units of the Southern Hospital, according to all likelihood, which the prosecution will hopefully clarify - said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

- Therefore, we are dealing with a case where Civic Platform's party umbrella is clearly protecting a wide network. A party appointee, Mr. Kacprzyk, who according to all likelihood stole hundreds of thousands of zlotys [...] after yesterday's interview, we can say, most likely also contributed to the deaths, to the loss of health, to the macabre scenes that took place in the Emergency Department of the Southern Hospital in Warsaw, under the watchful eye of the highest authorities of Civic Platform - he continued.

- This is not an ordinary scandal, of which there are many in Civic Platform, this is one of the biggest scandals in the last 35 years - he went on to say.

- So that they do not manage to cover up this great scandal, I demand an investigative commission, a public investigative commission appointed as soon as possible. Not any procedures. Not Żurek's procedures, whom people in the markets are already laughing about, saying he's on Donald Tusk's whistle. A guy who can't explain anything related to the great pathologies of Civic Platform - he added.

- Donald Tusk and other officials should, for what has happened, stand before a people's tribunal, let them at least stand before an investigative commission - he stated.

- The Prosecutor's Office has taken urgent action regarding the situation at the Southern Hospital. So, we have received the letter that the President [Rafał Trzaskowski] announced. The second important piece of information is that Doctor Emil Jędrzejewski will be questioned at the prosecutor's office today at 12 o'clock - stated Waldemar Żurek at a press conference.

- We will now attempt to conduct an inquiry; the inquiry has already begun. This means we are analyzing all cases in the prosecutor's office responsible for this hospital that have been active since 2023. In total, we have 32 proceedings that were in the prosecutor's office, but let us remember that these are not only proceedings related to the hospital's medical activities, but also such matters as threats or embezzlement. There were 12 cases concerning deaths over these years, and we have various situations here - stated Waldemar Żurek at a press conference.

- In 3 cases, the initiation of proceedings was refused, 4 cases were dismissed, and 5 cases are ongoing. So, one can say that the prosecutor's office is normally conducting proceedings in these matters - he continued.

- Regarding the cases in the Emergency Department (SOR), there were 5 cases concerning endangerment of life or health to immediate danger. In 4 cases, these have already been concluded. 3 cases were refusals, 1 dismissal, and 1 case is still ongoing - he noted.

- The prosecutor's office is working very intensively on this matter. I want to tell you that we will investigate everything, including those cases that were dismissed. I am directly supervising this case, but there is also supervision from the district prosecutor's office in Warsaw - said the prosecutor general.

- It was written [the letter] on behalf of the team, and therefore the hospital, on July 31, 2025, asked Emil Jędrzejewski to sign the letter, but also to indicate the circumstances, situations, and individuals, so that investigative proceedings could be conducted, which could have then resulted, for example, in a report to the prosecutor's office. As far as I know, there was no response to this letter, but today the prosecutor's office will probably investigate this by questioning the doctor - stated Waldemar Żurek at a press conference.

- We are acting, we are at the Southern Hospital every day, in front of the Southern Hospital, we are verifying facts, today Minister Janusz Cieszyński has obtained further scandalous information related to the fact that what should have been secured by the prosecutor's office has still not been secured - said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

- Isn't it the case that the prosecutor's office is giving time to obscure the evidence? To destroy the evidence that was there? - he continued.

- Based on the information I have, I can say that at least some of the accusations made by the doctor are confirmed by other physicians working at the facility. However, this requires the initiation of proceedings, which are underway. We started proceedings in this matter 7, even 8 days ago, and we are adding the accusations that have now emerged - stated the President of the Supreme Medical Chamber, Łukasz Jankowski, in an interview with Kanał Zero.

- We waited a long time for the completion of the Kashubian route [...] this is a road of great international significance as well - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference.

- Regarding the construction of roads and railways, since the beginning of our government, we have opened almost 700 km of new road sections, but here I have a particular sentiment - he continued.

- Although it is not a motorway, but an expressway, it presents a higher standard than a great many motorways, even in Western Europe - he went on to say.

- Polish roads today, just as they were once the laughingstock of Europe, do you remember, for a long time now we have been an example to everyone that in this part of Europe roads and motorways can look like this, they are of the highest level - he added.

"I hope that this conference will also be a certain step or a way to de-escalate emotions, because it is certainly not needed by us Poles, nor by Ukrainians," said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference.

- There will certainly be an opportunity tomorrow to say a few strong and bitter words to politicians inadequately reacting to differences stemming from difficult history. I will also want to say this very openly in the presence of the Prime Minister of Ukraine - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference.

- I accept the decision regarding the absence of President Zelensky, which was consulted with me and the Prime Minister of Ukraine also asked for my opinion, and that Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko will represent Ukraine, with the feeling that this could also serve this conference well; there will be fewer emotions and more substance – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference.

- During the conference, we will have an Eastern Flank summit. I attach particular importance to this meeting. I will be talking with the prime ministers and presidents of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, and Romania about the Eastern Flank - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference.

- The President, indeed, during a conference co-organized by the Chancellery of the President on the future, spoke about issues of armament policy, about obtaining funds. The Prime Minister indeed took some snippet, as I understand it, a bit out of context, forgetting that the President in the same statement spoke about his own SAFE 0% program, the draft of which lies in the Sejm and is frozen. Besides the loans that the government is taking, there are also possibilities of financing the defense industry and armament purchases from our own resources, resulting from well-thought-out gold purchase policy by the National Bank of Poland - stated Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing.

- The Prime Minister has somehow not wanted to discuss this so far, and does not want to; he primarily wants to indebt Poland, rather than utilize the funds that are already available, but this entire discussion, I have the impression, is an attempt to divert attention from the gigantic problems that politically have fallen upon Prime Minister Tusk today [the situation at the Southern Hospital] - he continued.

- I have had no doubts from the very first days when this matter took on such a public character, meaning the situation at this hospital, that regardless of whether it is beneficial to anyone or not, we will clarify every element of this matter - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference.

- Where the prosecutor's office is needed, it is already active - he continued.

- It seems necessary for the prosecutor's office to secure evidence at this very southern hospital this morning. We do not understand why Mr. Żurek's prosecutor's office is delaying these actions, failing to secure evidence - stated Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing.

- In my conviction, the prosecution, for political reasons, likely to protect Civic Coalition activists, unfortunately is not taking these actions, and this is what is worth discussing, rather than taking things out of context, nitpicking, and trying to redirect attention to a discussion that is currently entirely irrelevant - stated Marcin Przydacz at a press briefing.

- I will not, of course, draw hasty conclusions based on broadcasts on this or that channel, and it is not my task to assess the credibility of statements made in these or other broadcasts, the protagonists of this case - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said during a press conference.

- That is not my job, I have my own opinion on the credibility of some sources, but the matter is too serious, the accusations are very serious - he continued.

- The interrogation of the surgeon is currently underway, who, among other things, yesterday revealed [...] described alarming enough the irregularities that, in his opinion, took place in this hospital. I expect that this interrogation [...] will bring more concrete information - he went on to say.

- As you know, the fact that politicians, from all parties, are involved [...] in hospital management, some also trying to profit politically or financially from it, so I would strongly caution against such political games around this matter - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference, when asked about the proposals from Jarosław Kaczyński and Mateusz Morawiecki (commission of public trust and investigative committee).

- This is about patient safety, people's health, the reputation of the medical profession, the condition of Polish hospitals, so I will not be provoked - he continued.

- If someone wants to produce such political jokes, what is it called, Jarosław Kaczyński's commission of public trust, right? That's a bit of an oxymoron from my point of view - he went on to say.

- I want the matter to be handled not by Morawiecki or Kaczyński, and not by editor Stanowski or editor Słowik, or MP Giertych, or MEP Arłukowicz, but by the prosecutor's office - he added.

- If what Dr. Jędrzejewski said is confirmed, there are few facts there, frankly speaking, but there are, I would say, certain accounts, suggestions, but if it is confirmed, then we are dealing with serious crimes - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference.

- I'm bypassing the fact, because I don't understand it, but it's also not my role, the prosecution is currently asking Mr. Jędrzejewski about it, but there's something unusual about the fact that instead of immediately notifying the prosecution, suggesting that deaths occurred due to negligence or even for some worse reason in this hospital, so of course I'm surprised that no one came to the prosecutor immediately with this - he continued.

- I observe the activity of the medical self-government and its head, and I must admit that it was always more of a pressure to protect the status quo - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said during a press conference.

- I had the impression that there was no readiness for cooperation, to clear things up, to fix this system together with the medical community, rather than maintaining the status quo [...] I didn't have the impression that there was readiness for a serious conversation on their side - he continued.

- I know that our proposal for doctors' earnings to be transparent, at least transparent to supervisors, the Minister of Health, or the National Health Fund (NFZ), has rather met with negative reactions - he went on to say.

- I would most preferably want all party activists, whether they are from Civic Coalition, PiS, Confederation, Lewica, PSL, it doesn't matter, I would very much like hospitals to be completely free of these party activists - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference.

- The problem is that as I look at places like the Southern Hospital or hospitals that are companies at the disposal of local governments, we have company boards, hospital boards, presidents, vice-presidents, supervisory boards, directors, and sometimes I get the impression there are more of these types of people than those on duty - he continued.

- The credibility of Mr. Emil Jędrzejewski and his sensational statements after the prosecution's attempt to interrogate him appears to be doubtful - wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on social media.

- Due to the gravity of the allegations, the designated institutions will investigate everything down to the smallest detail. Those responsible for any potential abuses, negligence, or slander will not go unpunished - emphasized the head of government.

"The Polish Military Contingent in Turkey carries out key missions in the Mediterranean and Black Seas. Therefore, I have decided to extend the operation of the contingent – the daily service of our soldiers at the İncirlik base is the foundation of the security of the eastern flank and a real strengthening of NATO structures," – wrote President Karol Nawrocki on X.

- We are here together today in the E5 format to confirm that our countries will safeguard European unity and transatlantic unity - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a statement after the "European Five" meeting.

- Poland has had no doubts, and will have none in the future, that the future of Europe, the future of the Western world, and the future of Ukraine at this dramatic moment for it will depend on how well we maintain European and transatlantic unity - he continued.

- Ahead of the NATO meeting in Ankara, it is so important that this signal be very clear and unambiguous. Despite the circumstances, despite the emotions, which happen everywhere and to everyone, we will protect European unity during the war for Ukraine in its confrontation with Russia, we will protect transatlantic ties, even if some politicians do not always appreciate the importance of transatlantic ties - he went on to say.

- Poland will also do everything [...] so that countries directly threatened by Russia's aggressive policy, the countries of the Eastern flank, are represented in all formats. Without Poland, without the Scandinavian countries, without the Baltic states, without Romania, it will be difficult to achieve anything in this civilizational confrontation with aggressive eastern neighbors - he added.

- Tomorrow, regardless of various events, I will hold the Ukraine reconstruction conference as planned, with the participation of many leaders, hundreds of companies, and diplomats. This will be another contribution from both Poland and Europe to aid Ukraine today and its reconstruction after the war - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a statement after the "European Five" meeting.

"We are spending almost 7% today on armaments and defence. I would very much like this to resonate strongly in Ankara. All those who take their commitments seriously should indeed make more effort towards the defence capabilities of Europe and their own countries," said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a statement following the meeting of the "European Five".

- I see Prime Minister Tusk panicking, he is afraid, he is truly very, very scared. His hands tremble with fear. I'm not surprised. Yesterday, not only Warsaw held its breath, but all of Poland.
