Balczun on Fuel Prices:

We are prepared with a full package of actions, including administrative ones.

- We are prepared with a full package of actions, including administrative ones. The key for now is that Orlen, acting in its own interest, of course, and not to the detriment of the company and shareholders, minimizes its margins, which is being done - stated Wojciech Balczun on TVP Info.

Kierwiński on Braun and the EP Vote on Immunity:

PiS's Ally

- G. Braun is the worst Polish "export" in decades. A moral failure from A to Z. Today he lost his immunity for, among other things, denying the Holocaust. PiS's ally... - wrote Marcin Kierwiński on social media.

Balczun:

No One Can Predict What Prices Will Be

- No one is able to predict what the prices will be. There are global experts and analysts who say that if a barrel of oil reaches $150, it will mean a multi-year global recession, increased inflation, and in fact, a worsening of the economic situation worldwide - stated Wojciech Balczun on TVP Info.

Balczun:

Orlen's Crisis Staff Convenes Twice Daily

- We are practically functioning in a mode of daily meetings and full analyses of what is happening. Orlen's crisis staff convenes twice a day. Together with the Ministry of Energy, Finance, and Economy, we are also in constant contact and are considering what actions to take - stated Wojciech Balczun on TVP Info.

Przydacz to Czarzasty:

The Polish People's Republic is Gone.

- Marshal Czarzasty has a lax attitude towards the law; I think this still stems from his political history. During the Polish People's Republic (PRL) times, the law was certainly not strictly adhered to, the rule of law did not exist, and this is precisely the era to which Mr. Czarzasty refers - said Marcin Przydacz on Polsat News, when asked about Marshal Czarzasty's termination of correspondence with the President's Chancellery regarding newly elected Constitutional Tribunal judges.

- Fortunately, it has passed. The PRL is gone from Poland, Mr. Czarzasty, and you will not bring it back, despite your great love for that state - he continued.

Przydacz on CPAC and Nawrocki's Planned Activities in the USA:

We Knew From the Start Trump Wouldn't Be There.

- There are three main elements to this visit. One is a speech at a conference of American conservatives [...] there the president will speak about the values that unite Poles and Americans - said Marcin Przydacz on Polsat News.

- The second element is a visit to an F-35 factory [...] the third element, an important one, over 200,000 Americans of Polish descent live in Texas, who identify with their Polish heritage; the president wants to meet them - he continued.

- We knew from the start that Donald Trump wouldn't be there. Attempts were made here to build some narrative that perhaps we aren't going there because Donald Trump will be there; we are going at the invitation of the CPAC organization - he further stated.

08:23

Przydacz on Nawrocki's Conduct Towards a TVN Journalist:

He Didn't Cross the Line, He Didn't Give In to Provocation.

- When you are a provocative journalist, you have to reckon with the fact that someone may also comment harshly on some behavior. I think that the President in no way crossed the line, he did not give in to provocation - said Marcin Przydacz in Polsat News.

Domański:

Lowering VAT on Fuel is One of the Solutions We Are Currently Analyzing in Detail

- Lowering VAT on fuel is one of the solutions we are currently analyzing in detail. I think it's a probable solution. It is certainly very important for us that the VAT reduction translates into a lower gasoline price for drivers, and is not, to put it colloquially, consumed by suppliers, distributors, or gas stations - stated Andrzej Domański in PR3.

08:16

Domański:

Government Working on Solutions to Limit Fuel Price Increases

- The government is working on solutions that will help limit the fuel price increases we have seen at the stations. I would like to remind you that these increases stem directly from the situation in the Middle East; the price of Brent crude has clearly risen, although we are also seeing a bit of good news in recent days with the stabilization, and even decreases in oil prices. In my opinion, this should also translate into drops in wholesale fuel prices - stated Andrzej Domański on PR3.

What Did Nawrocki Tell Orbán About Russia? Przydacz: Various Arguments Were Raised, I Don't Think It Will Fundamentally Change Hungarian Policy

- There is, of course, a very large divergence when it comes to the approach. Viktor Orbán tries to dress his stance in what I would say is a kind of pragmatism, that's probably how he would put it. We think completely differently, that it is rather an action based on a kind of naivety or sometimes even selfishness, and we do not agree with that - said Marcin Przydacz on Polsat News, when asked what the president told Orbán about Russia and how it was received.

- Various very important arguments were raised by the president here. I don't think it will fundamentally change Hungarian policy, but if we are there and discussing other matters, it would be difficult to turn a blind eye to this as well - he continued.

08:08

Przydacz on Nawrocki's visit to Hungary:

There were also talks on the energy topic and some offer from our side.

- The whole of Hungary has a very big problem with Ukraine [...] the president's visit could not change anything in this regard, but I was present at that conversation because I was sitting right next to him - said Marcin Przydacz in Polsat News.

- There was a tough conversation about Russia [...] there was a tough conversation about Ukraine, but there were also talks on the energy topic and some offer from our side - he continued.

- Since we cooperate with the Americans, LNG, Świnoujście, we want to cooperate with the Czechs, with the Slovaks, there is a certain possibility of cooperation with Hungary as well. I don't know if the Hungarians will take advantage of this possibility or not, but it is in our interest to make such proposals, rather than getting offended with everyone around - he went on to say.

08:04

Przydacz:

The President Did Not Mention the Hungarian Elections, He Did Not Support Either Candidate

- The government is offended by Viktor Orbán, it clearly indicates its preferences in the elections, because after all, it supports Viktor Orbán's competitor. President Nawrocki did not utter a word about the electoral topic [...] he did not support either one or the other - said Marcin Przydacz on Polsat News.

08:00

Przydacz:

The liberal camp in Poland would expect to completely sever all ties with Hungary

"I understand that the expectation of the liberal camp in Poland would be to completely sever all relations with Hungary, and yet this is a state that is, firstly, a NATO member, secondly, an EU member, and thirdly, in our region," said Marcin Przydacz in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti."

Kaczyński Tweets About 'Pedophilia Among KO Activists' and Asks About a Prosecutor Team:

They Are Silent. Eloquently.

- For many days, we have been frozen by the latest shocking information about cases of pedophilia among KO activists. Anger mixes with disbelief. So many years… of suffering and harm - wrote Jarosław Kaczyński on social media.

- Did they not know? Or were others not supposed to find out? They are silent. Eloquently. What do you think, will a team of prosecutors be appointed to investigate these repulsive cases within KO? - asks the PiS leader.

Thursday's Political Agenda: Sejm to Debate Changes in Speaking Rights for the President's Chancellery Head

The Sejm will resume its session at 9:00 AM with a series of questions on current affairs, and at 11:15 AM, at the request of Civic Coalition (KO), it will hear a current information update on the "Youth Diagnosis 2026" report.

At 12:45 PM, the second reading of the proposed amendment to the Electoral Code authored by KO will commence. Subsequently, at 2:00 PM, the second reading of the proposed changes to the Sejm's Standing Orders, presented by the Sejm Presidium, is scheduled. These changes concern the rules for taking the floor during Sejm sessions.

According to the proposed amendments, only the Prime Minister will be allowed to speak from the rostrum at any point during the deliberations. The Marshal of the Sejm may grant speaking rights out of turn to the President of the Supreme Audit Office (NIK) and the Head of the President's Chancellery, but no more than once on a given agenda item. The authors claim the project aims to streamline session proceedings; PiS, on the other hand, has dubbed the project "lex Bogucki.".

Later, at 4:45 PM, the Sejm will hear the report of the Extraordinary Committee regarding the President's veto of the amendment to the Code of Criminal Procedure. This amendment concerned the application of temporary arrest and issues related to the use of illegally obtained evidence, known as the "fruit of the poisonous tree." The Marshal of the Sejm has announced a vote on this matter for Friday.

At 1:00 PM, in the Column Hall, the Parliamentary Team for Counteracting Lawlessness, composed of PiS MPs, will hold a session discussing the "paedophilia-bestiality scandal in Civic Coalition.".

At 9:30 AM, at the Polish Army Museum, Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and the Mayor of Chełm, Jakub Banaszek, will sign a letter of intent concerning the establishment and construction of the Museum of Memory of the Victims of the Volhynia Massacre. Statements for the media are planned.

Later, at 2:00 PM, the Minister of National Defence will meet with Martin Pfister, the Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport. Following the "one-on-one" talks, a joint press conference is scheduled for approximately 3:10 PM.
