First Day of the Sejm Session
At 9:30 AM, a press conference will be held by the Marshal of the Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty. The 51st session of the Sejm will commence at 11:00 AM with the second reading of the government's bill amending the act on cash benefits from social insurance in case of illness and maternity – this is one of the proposals from the so-called deregulation package.
Tusk and Domański on the Future Council
Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the Minister of Finance and Economy, Andrzej Domański, will participate in the establishment of the Future Council. At 9:30 AM, a meeting with the members of the Future Council will take place, and at 10:15 AM, speeches are scheduled.
Subsequently, Prime Minister Donald Tusk will visit the PGZ Naval Shipyard area in Gdynia. The Prime Minister's address is anticipated around 1:00 PM.
Nawrocki in Pomerania
President Karol Nawrocki will be on a visit to Puck and Gdynia. At 11:25 AM, he will participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the monument of General Józef Haller on the occasion of the 106th anniversary of Poland's Marriage to the Sea, and at 3:00 PM – in a ceremonial session of the Gdynia City Council on the occasion of the city's 100th birthday.
Sejm Committees on Ziobro, Romanowski, and the National Council of the Judiciary
At 12:00 PM, the Sejm Committee on Rules of Procedure, MP's Conduct, and Immunities will consider a letter from the Marshal of the Sejm regarding the adoption of a resolution by the committee, as referred to in Article 22, Paragraph 1 of the Sejm's Rules of Procedure, concerning MP Zbigniew Ziobro – the aforementioned article states that for failing to perform parliamentary duties, the committee may, by way of a resolution, draw the MP's attention, issue a reprimand, or a censure. At 1:00 PM, an analogous session will be held concerning Marcin Romanowski.
At 12:30 PM, during a meeting of the Sejm Committee on Justice and Human Rights, a public hearing will be held concerning the government's bill to restore the right to an independent and impartial court established by law by regulating the effects of resolutions adopted by the National Council of the Judiciary in the years 2018-2025.
At 2:00 PM, the Pegasus inquiry committee will, in a closed session, address current matters and consider evidentiary motions.

Szłapka on reinstating mandatory military service:
There is no discussion about this.
- There is no discussion about this [reinstating mandatory military service]. We have a professional army, which is one of the largest in Europe, also within NATO. We are spending 5% of our GDP on defense, a large SAFE program. So, regarding Poland's preparations and deterring our adversaries, we are doing a great deal, but moreover - we all perfectly understand that society must also be resilient and prepared for various crisis threats - stated Adam Szłapka on RMF FM.
08:27
Mentzen:
Czarzasty's Contacts Aren't Significant Enough for the National Security Council to Address
- It depends on which Marshal and what kind of contacts. It seems to me that this matter is a bit exaggerated - said Sławomir Mentzen on "Gość Radia ZET," when asked by Bogdan Rymanowski whether the National Security Council should deal with the contacts of the Marshal of the Sejm.
When pressed on whether he would decide that way if he were president, he replied: - No.
- I believe this is not a significant enough matter for the National Security Council to be involved. From what I have read, they simply have some kind of shared business, and have had it for many years. It doesn't look threatening, and if it is threatening, then the services should deal with it, not politicians - he stated.
08:29
Szłapka asked about naming the Palace of Culture after Donald Trump:
I do not support such a solution.
- No. I think this question is a joke [regarding naming the Palace of Culture after Donald Trump]. It also seems to be heavily referencing Mr. Najman's recent appearances. I do not support such a solution - stated Adam Szłapka in an interview with RMF FM.
08:30
- From a purely political point of view, I believe this is an unnecessary build-up and inflation of Czarzasty and the entire Left - said Sławomir Mentzen in "Gość Radia ZET", referring to the agenda of the Wednesday National Security Bureau meeting.
08:31
- We see this problem [regarding pellet availability]. It is obviously a consequence of a very cold winter and much higher demand. At the end of last week, I spoke with Minister Motyka. The minister himself also spoke publicly about the fact that if this problem deepens, then of course there will be intervention, but from what I heard, and we discussed, the situation is rather starting to stabilize - stated Adam Szłapka on RMF FM.
08:36
- Confederation will be represented by Krzysztof Bosak, as far as I recall [at tomorrow's National Security Council session]. I've been to the RBN once. I've formed my opinion about this council - Sławomir Mentzen said on 'Gość Radia ZET'.
In his opinion: - A complete waste of time. [...] The level of secrecy of those deliberations was low, so they didn't tell us many things anyway. It was after the drone attack. It was strange altogether because each participant of that meeting had access to a much higher level of secrecy, and yet the deliberations were at a lower level of secrecy, as if they simply wanted to tell us something. Therefore, I didn't feel taken seriously then.
- I'm not saying the institution itself makes no sense, but I have the impression that it's more of a circus for the media than a serious body. […] All this surrounding hype. Journalists have been talking about this RBN for a good week, which is amusing, because they won't find out what was said there anyway, because it will be secret. A dozen or so people will chat for a moment. Nothing will come of it, because what was decided there cannot be revealed anyway, so it's a bit like putting on a circus - he stated.
08:40
Szłapka:
Many PiS Politicians Disrespect Themselves and Poland
I think that the best comment here is that we simply must respect ourselves in our relations with our partners, but also among ourselves. I think that very many PiS politicians do not respect themselves and Poland - stated Adam Szłapka on RMF FM.
08:43
Mentzen:
That MPs are simpletons and chose a post-communist as Sejm Marshal is one thing. But he's our post-communist, and no Americans will tell us who should be Marshal
- I am on the side of the Polish state. I believe that Poles, Polish MPs, have the right to choose their Sejm Marshal. And the fact that MPs are simpletons and chose a post-communist is one thing, but he is our post-communist, and no Americans will tell us who should be the Marshal of the Polish Sejm - said Sławomir Mentzen in "Gość Radia ZET".
- I did not vote for Czarzasty to be the Sejm Marshal. Those who elected him should be ashamed - he added.
08:43
Says Bosak on the SAFE Program:
If the Government Changes in Poland, EC Officials Could Withhold Funds and Blackmail Us,
"The SAFE program, of course, includes the conditionality principle. This means that if the government changes in Poland, European Commission officials could, under any pretext, start withholding these funds and blackmailing us. We are very much against this," said Krzysztof Bosak in an interview with Renata Grochal on the program "Bez uników" (No Evasion) on Trójka.
08:47
Bosak:
The National Security Bureau's Program Could Have Been Formulated More Subtly
- For the good of the state, even if the National Security Bureau (BBN) wished to share this information, I believe that the program of this council could have been formulated more subtly, so that it doesn't appear that we are meeting simply to 'grill' a high-ranking politician from the opposing political camp - said Krzysztof Bosak on Trójka (Polish Radio 3).
08:49
- It seems to me that perhaps it would help him. He would find his place in the ranks - Sławomir Mentzen said on "Gość Radia ZET," when asked if Ambassador Rose should be summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the head of the MFA.
- He should know that he shouldn't be interested in our internal affairs. That's not why he's here as an ambassador - he stated.
- However, I keep hearing that Americans, for example, will choose our Marshal of the Sejm for us, or that Americans are behind the proposal for the PSL and PiS to overthrow this government and form a new government within this parliamentary term. I feel uncomfortable with the idea that some foreign country would choose our government or choose our Marshal of the Sejm - he continued.
08:51
Bosak on Czarzasty and the Dispute with the US Ambassador:
His Political Acumen Failed Him Here.
- I am ready to criticize everyone involved in this commotion, meaning the ambassador, Marshal Czarzasty, PiS, and anyone else, because I believe this commotion, firstly, does not serve the interests of the Polish state, and secondly, it goes beyond all reason - Krzysztof Bosak said on Trójka.
- The matter is essentially trivial, it was about some gesture, a small gesture within the realm of parliamentary diplomacy. It seems to me that Marshal's entourage and his political acumen failed him here - he continued.
- It seems to me that the Marshal perhaps does not yet fully understand the significance of his office, meaning that it is a function not only in Polish domestic politics, but globally, that Speakers of Parliament [...] they also play a role in the parliamentary diplomacy of their states - he went on to say.
- Sometimes the style and manner are more important than the content itself; if one receives a request for support for some efforts and responds with such rather frontal criticism, it's hard to be surprised that the atmosphere becomes unpleasant - he added.
08:54
Mentzen:
The Problem in Our Relations with the US is That We Let Ourselves Be Bought Cheaply by Americans
- Of course, we should consider the Americans, but we need to behave with seriousness. Americans will not take seriously someone who lets them walk all over them and interfere in their internal affairs. Americans are a mercantile nation, a nation of businessmen. They respect strength, they respect someone who looks after their own interests, and they don't respect someone who neglects their interests – Sławomir Mentzen said on "Gość Radia ZET".
- The problem in our relations with America is that we let ourselves be bought very cheaply by Americans. In the past, Europeans used to go to Africa and buy local goods for beads. Now Americans come to Poland and say that Kościuszko was great, Pułaski was great, that Poles are a nation of heroes, that they are our allies, after which we buy Apaches there for tens of billions of zlotys – he continued.
- Trump and Rose have now made a mistake. Because instead of saying again that we are great, so that we would buy a few more planes, they said that we did not help them within NATO in Afghanistan or now they have insulted our Marshal of the Sejm. Because of this, we will buy fewer of these planes – he stated.
09:02
Bosak:
I Don't Want a Government Where Ziobro is Justice Minister Again
- I do not want a government where Minister Ziobro will once again be the Minister of Justice, the Prosecutor General. We absolutely do not need that. I believe that the time he managed the judiciary and the prosecution was largely, unfortunately, a wasted time, and we assess some of the processes that occurred in the prosecution or courts negatively – said Krzysztof Bosak on Trójka.
- There will be no such need, because in my opinion, he will not be proposed again by PiS, regardless of who PiS forms a coalition with in the future – he continued, when asked if Konfederacja would not agree to Ziobro being the Minister of Justice in a potential government with PiS.
- They were afraid of him in PiS, they are alienated from him in PiS – he went on to say.
09:05
Mentzen:
KSeF Poses a Major Threat. I Don't Trust the State and Believe These Data Will Leak
- This is a very bad system [KSeF] and a very big threat. It is a central system where all possible invoices issued in Poland will land in real-time. I see the following problems. Firstly, if this system crashes, all entrepreneurs in Poland will have a problem. And anyone who uses state systems, like PRS or previously KRS, knows that these systems constantly crash – Sławomir Mentzen said in “Gość Radia ZET”.
- Secondly, if some foreign state wanted to surveil our economy, it would have to break into each company's systems separately, but now they will have everything in one place. That is, it's enough to break into KSeF, and we will know about everything happening in the Polish economy. We will know which industrial, defense company is buying exactly what, for how much, from whom. This is very valuable knowledge and it should not be accumulated in this way – he argued.
- I would not introduce KSeF. […] Officials will have access from their desks to every invoice in Poland. And I don't believe, because I don't trust this state, that this data will not leak. When e-prescriptions were introduced, the Minister of Health suddenly published on Twitter which doctor was taking which medications – he stated.
09:10
Bosak on the National Council of the Judiciary:
We Cannot Allow the Re-establishment of Cronyism or Caste-like Structures.
"Certainly, resolving the dispute over the National Council of the Judiciary (KRS) would be in the interest of the Polish state, however, we cannot allow for any way to re-establish some kind of cronyism or caste-like structures within the KRS," said Krzysztof Bosak on the Trójka radio program.

Mentzen:
A Coalition with PiS, but Without Kaczyński, is a Viable Option
- A coalition with PiS – yes, but without Kaczyński. Yes or no? - Bogdan Rymanowski asked on 'Gość Radia ZET'.
- In such a variant, it is worth considering - Sławomir Mentzen replied.
- When did I change my mind? I have been saying for a long time that I am willing to consider various coalitions, but Jarosław Kaczyński is not a person I would want to make a deal with. Because I don't trust him. He doesn't want to reach an agreement in a way that benefits all parties to the agreement, but rather to destroy someone - he noted, continuing the thread later.

Kierwiński:
These thugs think they'll get away with it because they feel strong support from certain politicians. Not a chance.
- The police will ruthlessly combat all forms of aggression, including towards foreigners, and the thuggish behavior of football hooligan circles. These thugs think they'll get away with it because they feel strong support from certain politicians. Not a chance. This pathology will be combatted - wrote Marcin Kierwiński on social media.
Policja będzie bezwzględnie zwalczać wszelkie formy agresji także wobec obcokrajowców oraz bandyckie zachowania środowisk kibolskich. Ci bandyci sądzą, że będą bezkarni, bo czują mocne wsparcie niektórych polityków. Nic z tego. Patologia będzie zwalczana.

Czarnek, Jaki, Morawiecki, Bocheński? Any of them would be a more solid partner for talks than Kaczyński
- If you don't trust President Kaczyński, is there any politician in PiS whom you do trust? Przemysław Czarnek, Patryk Jaki, Mateusz Morawiecki, Tobiasz Bocheński? - Bogdan Rymanowski asked on "Gość Radia ZET".
- It seems to me that each of them would be a more solid partner for talks - Sławomir Mentzen replied.
To the statement "anyone but Kaczyński," he responded: - Maybe not anyone, but each of those mentioned seems like a much more sensible person.
09:21
Błaszczak on Those Disrupting the Smolensk Commemorations:
People Who Are Directly Called Barbarians in Our Culture.
- We remember that they fell over Smolensk because Russia is once again ruled by people who are trying to rebuild the Russian empire - said Mariusz Błaszczak in a statement after the Smolensk commemorations.
- This was the case when the Russian empire was red; then in Katyn, the Russians committed an act of genocide, murdering Polish officers, Polish officials, the elite of the Polish nation. The Russian empire, whether it was white, red, or is now Putin's, has always posed a deadly threat to Poland - he continued.
- Unfortunately, our commemorations, as every month, are disrupted by people who, in our Christian, European culture, are directly called barbarians. These are people who align themselves with the propaganda of imperial Russia, with Putin's propaganda. Unfortunately, this is happening because the current authorities, the current government, allow them to do so - he went on to say.
- The Minister of Justice receives these people. Did he admonish them, did he tell them that such behavior is inappropriate? Quite the opposite, he emboldened them - he added.
09:38
Mentzen on Relations with Bosak:
We Don't Really Have Much to Talk About. We Understand Each Other Without Words.
- We currently have terrible conflicts within Hołownia's party. They are publicly insulting each other. We have big conflicts within PiS. Some are discussing with each other publicly via Twitter. At the same time, we have no conflicts within Konfederacja. There are no statements from me attacking Bosak, or statements from Bosak attacking me - Sławomir Mentzen said on "Gość Radia ZET".
- We have a coalition that has lasted for about 7 years, which is developing, has growing support, and we have no problems. We don't really have anything to quarrel about. And journalists are constantly looking for some conflicts or problems here. What do we have to fight about? - he asked.
- No [I don't talk to Krzysztof Bosak often], in the sense that we don't really have much to talk about. We understand each other without words - he stated.
- On the vast majority of topics, we have exactly the same opinion. Of course, [the National Movement] differs, we are a coalition, not a single party. However, I said: on the vast majority of issues, we have exactly the same opinion - he insisted.
- If there is something to agree on, we agree on it. If there is nothing to agree on, we don't agree on it. We have no problems. I wish everyone such a coalition as we have - he added.
09:46
- You have never explained yourself, you have never been held accountable. As opposition parliamentarians, we would like you to simply fill out this questionnaire properly. I believe the truth is owed to the Polish state, to Polish citizens, who are asking you about dangerous connections. We would like you to function transparently, openly, and honestly - stated Rafał Bochenek in the Sejm, just before Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty's conference.
‼️ Marszałek @wlodekczarzasty od lat nie składa ankiety bezpieczeństwa. 👉 Dziś razem z @AnnaGembicka i @RafalBochenek przekazaliśmy mu ją osobiście. To kwestia bezpieczeństwa państwa, dlatego apelujemy o jej niezwłoczne złożenie w służbach! pic.twitter.com/tMNg7wUHIw

Czarzasty responds to PiS:
We will ask at the National Security Council what the President was doing in Russia and various other places.
- The turmoil will not cover up any truth. Soon, at the National Security Council, we will ask what Mr. President was doing in Russia and what he was doing in various other places, but that will be tomorrow - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in the Sejm.
09:53
Czarzasty:
If I don't get the President's signature, I will issue a decree to start the procedure for electing KRS members
- I appeal to President [Karol Nawrocki] to sign the act on the KRS. This is a good law that guarantees citizens the right to a trial and limits the lengthiness of proceedings. As Marshal of the Sejm, I am acting within the bounds of the law, which is why if I do not receive the President's signature on the KRS act, I will, within 2 days, issue a decree to commence the procedure for electing KRS members. This is not good law upon which I will issue this decree, but it is the law in force - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in the Sejm.
09:57
Czarzasty:
The Issue of Convening an Additional Sejm Session is Now Irrelevant
- Yesterday, the Sejm Presidium rejected this motion [from PiS] by a vote of 4:1. The issue of convening an additional Sejm session on the matter that "Gazeta Polska" wrote about is, at least through this avenue, irrelevant - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in the Sejm.
09:59
Czarzasty:
It has been established that there is nothing inappropriate regarding me and my contacts. I consider the matter closed.
- At my request addressed to the coordinator of special services, Mr. Jacek Dobrzyński, the spokesperson for the minister, stated on February 4: in response to journalists' inquiries, I inform that the Marshal of the Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, who is subject to counterintelligence protection by Polish special services, has access to information with the highest security clearance. The special services have no reservations in this regard and strictly adhere to the regulations in force in this area - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in the Sejm.
- This means it has been established that there is nothing inappropriate regarding me and my contacts. I consider this matter closed - he continued.
10:02
Czarzasty Questions Nawrocki:
Concerning Contacts with Pseudo-Fans and the Criminal Underworld
- I want to ask President Nawrocki the following questions. These are questions concerning President Nawrocki’s contacts with the pseudo-fan community and the criminal underworld. It concerns the president’s connections with individuals like Wielki Bu, an MMA fighter suspected of involvement in the Tricity underworld – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in the Sejm.
- It concerns embracing Tomasz P., alias Dragon, during the fans’ pilgrimage to Jasna Góra. It also concerns brawls with members of the Chuligani Wolnego Miasta group in 2009, in which individuals later convicted of serious crimes, including drug trafficking, arson, and assault, participated – he continued.
10:04
Czarzasty:
I will call on the President for clear explanations regarding his work as a bodyguard at the Grand Hotel in Sopot
- I will call on the President for clear explanations regarding his work as a bodyguard at the Grand Hotel in Sopot. Was he merely a witness to the prostitution and pimping activities reported by the media, or did you, Mr. President, participate in them as an intermediary? - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in the Sejm.
- As a witness to the commission of crimes there, for example pimping, did you react or report these matters to law enforcement? I will also ask why in 2021 the Internal Security Agency (ABW) raised serious objections against Karol Nawrocki and refused to grant the current president a security clearance, whether this decision was changed by the then head of ABW, Krzysztof Wacławek, why it was done, and why Wacławek is now a close advisor to President Nawrocki? - he continued.
10:08
Czarzasty to Nawrocki:
What Were You Doing in Moscow in 2018, Mr. President?
- Finally, a question about Karol Nawrocki's past, no less important. What were you doing in Moscow in 2018, Mr. President? You were the director of the Second World War Museum at the time. According to MP Brejza, your trip cost over PLN 20,000, and upon your return, despite bringing your press spokesperson, there was no trace of information about who you actually met with, what you discussed, and what you arranged - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in the Sejm.
10:48
- Together with a group of PiS MPs, we have filed a motion with the Constitutional Tribunal questioning the constitutionality of the law on the status of Constitutional Tribunal judges and the Sejm's Rules of Procedure, which enable the selection of judges for the Tribunal through Sejm resolutions and oblige the President to accept their oaths even if the selection was made in violation of the law - wrote Marcin Warchoł.
- The selection of judges for one of the most important state bodies should be regulated solely by statute - as mandated by Article 197 of the Constitution - and not by internal acts of one chamber of parliament, as this violates the principle of the separation of powers and the independence of the Tribunal. […] The current regulations, in case of vacancies - today we have 6 vacancies out of 15 members of the Constitutional Tribunal - allow for the 'group' selection of Tribunal members by a single parliamentary majority, which poses a threat to the principle of a democratic state, the sovereignty of the Nation, and the democratic legitimacy of the Tribunal - writes the PiS MP.
- The possibility for the Sejm majority to reject candidates for judges proposed by the parliamentary club with the largest number of MPs in a given Sejm term should also be considered unlawful. Today, the 'December 13 coalition' does this habitually, violating the principle of pluralism within the Constitutional Tribunal - he stated.
- It is also unconstitutional to require the President of the Republic of Poland to accept oaths from judges selected in violation of the law. Since the rulings of the Constitutional Tribunal are final and universally binding (Article 190(1) of the Constitution), in a situation where the Constitutional Tribunal declares the regulations forming the basis for judge selection unconstitutional, state bodies cannot ignore this, and the President cannot be legally compelled to act contrary to a ruling of the Constitutional Tribunal. Therefore, the swearing-in of judges should be suspended until the Constitutional Tribunal issues a final ruling on our motion - we read in the post.

- I wanted to thank everyone who decided to join the Council of the Future, because these are people who are exclusively very, very busy, who do not complain about a lack of success in science, business, or in creating a completely new reality - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the inauguration of the Council of the Future.
- These are people who have also achieved a lot for Poland, space, these are people who can produce the most valued satellites right now, these are scientists who know how to translate science into business and large sums of money, this is artificial intelligence, this is biotechnology, this is modern defense industry - he continued.
- Today we met with exceptionally ambitious people, very wise people, people who know how to design this future so that Poland is a leader, not just one of many, not a participant like others in this race for a better future, but a leader in many fields that will collectively constitute a Poland that is not only very ambitious, modern, and victorious, but also a safe Poland - he went on to say.
- This year, as with Minister Domański, who will oversee the work of this Council of the Future, as we have said, the year 2026 will be, must be a year of acceleration. This great reserve of Poland, this source, will allow us to make Poland an undisputed leader, not just of the region, but of Europe, when it comes to economic development - he added.
11:20
Domański:
I am proud that representatives of key sectors have agreed to participate in the Council of the Future
- Poland is currently the 20th largest economy in the world, and that is an undeniable success, but it is not a success given once and for all. We are participating in a race. We must build new competitive advantages, base our economic growth on new engines, on new technologies, on the most advanced solutions. Poland must build its competitive advantages based on the greatest asset we have - people, as it is sometimes said: human capital - said Andrzej Domański during the establishment of the Council of the Future.
- I am very proud that representatives of, I think, key sectors, key areas for building Poland's long-term competitiveness, have agreed to accept our invitation to work in our council. The key areas we discussed during the council's first meeting, namely AI, data, space technologies, dual-use applications, and biotech, are the areas on which Poland will build its economic growth in the coming years, in the coming decades - he continued.
11:27
Morawiecki Repeats Request for Secret Sejm Session:
Only This Way Can We Unravel Moscow's Connections.
- What is the difference between MP Czarzasty and Marshal Czarzasty? The former did not want to reveal his Russian connections, while the latter no longer has to. The Sejm is headed by a man who allows Moscow capital into directly interconnected businesses - stated Mateusz Morawiecki in the Sejm.
- A man who refused to fill out a security questionnaire for many months. A man who, under threat of criminal liability, refused to answer the services' questions. Therefore, on behalf of the PiS club, I am requesting the Sejm be convened in a secret session, because only this way can we unravel Marshal Czarzasty's Moscow connections - he continued.
11:28
Czarzasty Responds to Morawiecki:
Congratulations on your effectiveness.
- I kindly inform you that yesterday this motion [for a secret Sejm session], submitted by your side, was voted on by the Sejm presidium. It was rejected 4:1. Congratulations on your effectiveness - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in the Sejm.
11:33
Siemoniak Responds to Morawiecki:
Making Politics Out of Something You Could Have Explained Yourselves.
- Marshal of the Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, has access by law to information with the highest level of secrecy, and the special services, primarily ABW, raised no objections in this regard and are unequivocally implementing the regulations in force in this area - stated Tomasz Siemoniak in the Sejm.
- I am very surprised that former Prime Minister Morawiecki is speaking on this matter, because during his time as Prime Minister, those economic events occurred that the state is now questioning. Somehow, neither Prime Minister Morawiecki, nor ABW, nor any services that were subordinate to you, lifted a finger then. So, this is immense hypocrisy and making politics out of something you could have explained yourselves in the past, if you had wanted to - he continued.
13:25
Tusk:
Poland Has Realistic Chances to Dominate the Baltic, That is Our Ambition
- The Miecznik Program, which means the frigate Wicher and the next ones, Burza and Huragan, this is, if I remember correctly, 15 billion zlotys. This is an investment by the Polish Armaments Group in cooperation with the British, and this is only part of a larger project that constitutes a secure Polish Baltic Sea - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a visit to the PGZ Naval Shipyard in Gdynia.
- Gdynia is the most important Polish city on the Baltic Sea. Gdynia was created for Poland to be sovereign, for Poland to be open to the whole world. Gdynia very quickly became one of the largest ports on the Baltic Sea even before the war - he continued.
- Today, Gdynia is a very important part of the entire agglomeration and the entire complex of ports, which means that Poland today has realistic chances, forgive me for the word, but to dominate the Baltic Sea, that is our ambition. Gdynia plays an absolutely crucial role here - he went on to say.
13:38
Tusk:
Our Cooperation with Sweden, Norway, Finland, and the Baltic States is Becoming Crucial for Europe's Security
- Our increasingly close cooperation with Sweden, Norway, Finland, and the Baltic states, when it comes to defense, is becoming absolutely crucial for the security of Europe, for the security of Poland, and for the functioning of NATO in this region, due to both the Baltic Sea and our shared border with Russia and Belarus - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a visit to the PGZ Naval Shipyard in Gdynia.
14:17
Hołownia on Ideas to Dismiss the Head of the Poland 2050 Club:
They Remind Me of PiS's Actions.
- I want to state clearly that the ideas being put forward by some, or thrown around by some, to now change the club's rules in order to, having the majority they have, dismiss Chairman Śliz, remind me of PiS's actions when they also had a majority and also had democracy and organized the Sejm in the Column Hall - stated Szymon Hołownia in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.
16:16
Nawrocki, on Gdynia's centenary, recalls his bill project:
I hope it happens for the 101st birthday.
- I wanted to thank the Mayor and congratulate the residents of Gdynia on this beautiful anniversary, with a deep awareness of how important Gdynia is for Poland today. [...] I thank you all for ensuring that the spirit of Gdynia remains in this wonderful city in the 21st century - said President Karol Nawrocki during the ceremonial session of the Gdynia City Council on the occasion of the city's 100th birthday.
- I want to say that I don't just want to be a fan of Gdynia's development. I want to be with you as President of Poland. That is why, four months ago, I submitted the 'Yes to Polish Ports' bill to the Polish Sejm, which includes solutions for both the Outer Port of Gdynia and the construction and completion of the Red Road investment - he continued.
- This bill is addressed to everyone, and I had a deep hope that on the occasion of Gdynia's centenary anniversary, I could say together with representatives of the Polish government that this bill has passed through the Polish parliament and received the president's signature. I hope it happens for the 101st birthday - he stated.

Hołownia on the Situation in Poland 2050 and Maintaining the Governing Majority:
I Hope Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Has a Plan.
- Today, all of us involved in this matter must be aware that the governing majority is 13, and if we consider absences, it's 16, which is a very thin margin, and we need to very clearly look after the club's unity - Szymon Hołownia said in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.
- This is no longer Chairman Szymon Hołownia's party. I hope that Chairwoman Pełczyńska-Nałęcz has a plan and an idea of how to manage this difficult situation within the club - he continued.

- In particular, issuing a European Arrest Warrant is necessary and proportionate. In the prosecutor's assessment, this is the only measure at this stage of the proceedings that enables procedural actions to be carried out with the suspect, including informing him of charges for committing 26 crimes. No other measure at this stage can ensure the proper further course of these proceedings in this regard - stated Prosecutor Przemysław Nowak at a press briefing.

"We have taken responsibility for preparing a compromise bill that will bring order to the chaos caused by the neo-NSC. Today, this bill is solely awaiting the signature of the President of the Republic of Poland," wrote Waldemar Żurek on the X portal.
"Mr. President, please make a pro-state decision," the minister appealed.
"Poles have already paid a real price for the chaos introduced by Zbigniew Ziobro and his associates: millions in fines and billions deducted from EU funds, lengthy proceedings, and thousands of cases waiting for years to be resolved, while neo-judges continue to produce further flawed rulings," he pointed out.
"The responsibility for the chaos that will continue, should you veto this, will fall on you."
The Minister of Justice accompanied his post with a recording.
- It [the bill] brings order to the system. Protracted trials, legal uncertainty, overturned verdicts against multiple murderers, questioning divorce decrees. We are seeing this in recent weeks. This is chaos in the justice system. We warned about this, but we have a remedy for it - he says in the film.
- We have prepared a very good bill. This bill will bring order to what is currently going wrong in the justice system. It will translate into shorter proceedings. It will mean that a citizen, when going to court, will know that a judge is sitting at the bench - Żurek assures.
- Mr. President, please think about it. 1000 vacant positions. How many human affairs have not been resolved? The neo-NSC, in two terms of its mandate, has retired 145 judges for political reasons. Those who could have worked, those who wanted to work. I calculated how many cases they would have resolved if they had adjudicated for 8 years - 633,000. So many cases have not been resolved because the neo-NSC has become a hostage to political war - he argues.
- We want to bring order to this, so we appeal: please sign this bill. The responsibility for the chaos that will continue, should you veto this, will fall on you - he emphasizes at the end.
Wzięliśmy odpowiedzialność za przygotowanie kompromisowej ustawy, która porządkuje chaos wywołany przez neo-KRS. Dziś ta ustawa czeka wyłącznie na podpis Prezydenta RP.

"The conversation with Ambassador Tom Rose confirmed that our cooperation for security will not change in any way. Allied presence in our country is an extremely important pillar of the defense of the eastern flank," wrote Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on platform X, posting a joint photo with the diplomat.
As he indicated: "Poland is a pillar of NATO's eastern flank and one of the most reliable allies of the United States in Europe!"
"Poland today is a leader in NATO in terms of defense spending growth. This is noticed and appreciated by our allies from the United States," added the head of the Ministry of National Defence.

Śliz Comments on Media Reports:
I Have No Problem Undergoing a Support Verification,
"Since some have chosen the path of media leaks, it's time for a few words about the background of this 'war' from my perspective," Paweł Śliz wrote on X.
"Today, I observe an attempt to change the rules of the game mid-match. This action is not only unfair but also highly unethical. The situation is simple: the MPs who submitted the motion to change the regulations know perfectly well that they do not have the required 3/5 majority for personnel changes in the presidium. So, instead of convincing our colleagues from the club with substantive arguments, they are trying to forcefully change the regulations to suit their own needs," he continued in his post.
"Submitting a motion to change the regulations, and then a motion for dismissal three minutes before the end of the session, at a time when 9 out of 36 parliamentarians are absent – this is not a display of strength. It is a cynical calculation and an attempt to seize control through the back door," he added.
"From individuals who so proudly emphasize their many years of political experience – significantly longer than mine – at every turn, I would expect more finesse. We have been served an amateurish grab for power that undermines the unity of our entire community. This is not a good example for our members, who are sadly observing the entire situation," he noted.
"I want to be clear: I have no problem undergoing a support verification. However, I will do so when ALL club members can vote, not when it suits parliamentarians who are exploiting the absence of colleagues," he emphasized.
"I will not be manipulated by methods that are more fitting for bygone eras of party intrigues than for the standards we have jointly promised to introduce into Polish politics. My task is to ensure the effectiveness of Poland 2050 in parliament, and that is what I intend to focus on, not on counting sabers within the party. I have always fought for all my parliamentary colleagues, without exception. Dear colleagues from the club – my door, as always, remains open to you," he concluded.

Bosacki on the compromise proposal regarding ambassadors:
We hope the President will respond positively.
- A certain thaw was also visible concerning the special services and the coordinator of special services, but also the Minister of Defense; first it was there, then, I hope, we will reach a compromise regarding ambassadors with the Presidential Palace - said Marcin Bosacki in an interview with Marek Tejchman on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events) on Polsat News.
- Prime Minister Sikorski presented far-reaching compromise proposals; we hope that President Nawrocki will respond positively to this - he continued.

Bosacki:
I am shocked by the topics the President wants to raise at the National Security Council
"I am, surprised is an understatement, shocked by the topics that the President wants to raise at the National Security Council," said Marcin Bosacki in Polsat News.
"A personal attack, very political, very poorly documented substantively against Marshal Czarzasty, I have absolutely no idea why," he continued.
"On the other two [topics], the President would learn much more if he had a normal conversation with the relevant ministers in the privacy of their offices, for example, regarding the Peace Council with Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski," he added.

Bosacki:
I Don't Know Why the President and His Ministers Are Throwing Sand in the Gears of Polish-American Relations
- Polish relations, including governmental ones, with America are certainly very good - said Marcin Bosacki on Polsat News.
- These relations are truly at a firm, working, concrete level. I don't know why sometimes the president, and much more often his ministers, as Cenckiewicz's doctrine states, are throwing sand in the gears not only of the government this time, but of Polish-American relations - he continued.
19:50
Bosacki:
Had it been up to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Marshal Czarzasty's conference wouldn't have happened, but there were no insults in what he said
- Marshal Czarzasty was officially asked about his recommendations, or lack thereof, for a Nobel Peace Prize for Donald Trump, the President of the USA - said Marcin Bosacki on Polsat News.
- Had it been up to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there likely wouldn't have been such a press conference, a certain political theatre. However, in what he said, there were no insults, contrary to what the US ambassador wrote, but with all certainty, the ambassador's reaction was, to put it very mildly, undiplomatic - he continued.

Bosacki:
US Ambassador Acted in a Way That Fueled the Conflict
- Yes, there are contacts with the embassy and with the State Department, it was unnecessary. If the ambassador or the embassy feels compelled to correct certain points made by Marshal Czarzasty, there are many, dozens of ways to do so that escalate this rhetorical conflict less - said Marcin Bosacki on Polsat News, responding to the question "Did you tell him?" (did the Polish side tell the US ambassador that his reaction was undiplomatic).
- The American ambassador acted in a way that fueled this conflict, I don't know why - he continued.
- Remarks, moreover public ones, Minister Sikorski spoke about them [...] contacts with Ambassador Rose and with the American embassy are ongoing - he continued, when asked if the remarks had been conveyed to both the ambassador and the State Department in Washington.
- I think that in the recent appearances of the ambassador, including in the interview published today for "Rzeczpospolita," he no longer wants to talk about what Marshal Czarzasty was allegedly offended by. I think this is perhaps an attempt to de-escalate this conflict by one degree - he added.

Bosacki on Criticism of the SAFE Program:
I Don't Know Why PiS Is Turning into a Lobbyist for US Industry.
- This [SAFE] is a project conceived, by the way, by Eastern and Central Europeans precisely so that our countries, mainly our countries, the Baltic states, Poland, Romania, are to be the biggest beneficiaries, we especially are to be the biggest beneficiaries to the tune of 43 billion euros for purchases primarily within our industry - stated Marcin Bosacki on Polsat News.
- Of course, also within European industry, but subcontractors can also be, and in some cases will be, companies from outside the European Union, Ukrainian, Norwegian, or American - he continued.
- I don't know why the main opposition force, i.e., PiS, is turning into a lobbyist for one industry [...] one of our allies, even an important one, which is the United States - he went on to say.
- I am curious how this narrative of PiS and the presidential center aligns with the President's slogan "Poland First, Poles First." It's either Poland, or gentlemen, you're saying "America First" - he added, when pressed about Jacek Sasin's remarks that there is no possibility in Europe or Poland to produce the equipment we would need in sufficient quantities so quickly.
