Asked if Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz is a good candidate for deputy prime minister, he replied: - If there is such a decision from the Prime Minister and the leaders of the coalition parties, then Poland 2050 will be able to nominate such a candidate. - This is a team being formed in coordination at the Prime Minister's request, as the matter is very serious. It concerns, firstly, potential Polish connections, as information about this has appeared in the media. Secondly, there is enough evidence in the public domain to believe that this operation is being carried out by Russian services, which could directly threaten Polish security - stated Adam Szłapka at a press conference in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

The creation of a team concerning the Epstein affair was announced today by the Prime Minister.

- Apart from the fact that it is repulsive, for these two reasons it is a matter that needs to be addressed systematically, and at the Prime Minister's command, such a team will be established - the government spokesperson continued.

- It will be coordinated by Minister Waldemar Żurek, the Prosecutor General, and Minister Tomasz Siemoniak, the coordinator for special services. Minister Żurek will chair this team, and it will consist of prosecutors, police officers, and intelligence officers, the most professional ones, dealing with security matters, investigative and analytical aspects of such materials, in order to enable further proceedings - he explained.

As he indicated: - The composition of this team will not be public. Minister Żurek will communicate on this matter, but he will begin activities immediately. It will be a small team.

- There are over 3,000 documents, the analysis of which alone is time-consuming, and these are matters that must be examined. Polish connections have appeared in the media - for this reason alone, Polish services simply must deal with this matter with the utmost diligence - Szłapka added.

- Yes, I am aware that the Ministry of Digital Affairs is preparing such a project [regarding the digital tax]. This is – I believe – a very preliminary stage of work on this type of project. I would like to remind you that the ministry responsible for tax changes is the Ministry of Finance, and it is this ministry that introduces such solutions - stated Adam Szłapka at a press conference in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

- And for any such solutions to be considered by the government, there must first be an agreement between these individual ministers, and then there is a whole procedure, which is also not a short one: inclusion in the register, the government's work programming team, the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers, and only then is the project submitted for government debate and only after being accepted by the government does it go to the Sejm - he continued.

- So for now, it is a project that – as far as I know – the Ministry of Digital Affairs is working on. It is far too early to say that it is a government project - he emphasized.

- Russians are very keen on de-informing Poles, on sowing discord between Poles and other European Union nations, on sowing discord between Poles and Ukrainian citizens. We simply cannot let this happen or allow it - said Jacek Dobrzyński in an interview with Karolina Bielińska on TVP Info.

- I see [the possibility of cooperation with Poland 2050 in the coalition] well. I have been cooperating with Poland 2050 for over two years, and this cooperation has been going well. Both as the Minister for EU Affairs and as the Government Spokesperson, I have cooperated well with ministers from Poland 2050. I see no threats to the coalition’s duration or stability. Rather, I see that the internal situation within Poland 2050 is calmer - stated Adam Szłapka at a press conference in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (KPRM).

- This is certainly a very shocking case. A man who worked for many years at the Ministry of National Defence has turned out to have collaborated with foreign intelligence, acted to the detriment of Poland, sold Poland, betrayed Poland - said Jacek Dobrzyński in a statement to TVP Info.

- The Military Counterintelligence Service became interested in the case. It was the officers of the Military Counterintelligence Service who gathered [...] very strong, incriminating materials on this matter. Today, an arrest took place. The man was detained at his workplace, i.e., at the Ministry of National Defence, where he had worked for several decades - he continued.

- He was not a soldier; he was a civilian employee of the Ministry of National Defence. The case is very serious, and it is multifaceted and complicated - he went on to say.

- It will be the prosecutor who decides when and, above all, what charges to present to this gentleman - he added.

- I don't need to tell you how serious the implications are for the security of the Polish state, this possibility, increasingly likely, that Russian services co-organized this procedure, which can only mean one thing - that they also possess compromising materials on many leaders active to this day - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.

- This matter must also be investigated by us due to the security of the Polish state. It is possible that we will also encourage other partners to conduct an international investigation into this matter - he continued.

- I have already informed you that I am traveling to Kyiv this week at the invitation of President Zelenskyy - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government meeting.

- As you know, the promises President Trump spoke about, reportedly made by President Putin, that Russia would suspend attacks during the cold weather, have unfortunately not materialized, have not been fulfilled - he continued.

- I spoke with our Ukrainian partners; I was very moved by what they said when they invited me to Kyiv, saying: the presence of a leader from another country always somewhat deters the Russians, so perhaps, thanks to your visit, we will be able to catch our breath from these types of attacks, at least for a moment - he went on to say.

- These are questions about what we intend to do about it, as suspicions of Epstein and this entire pedophilic circle being linked to Russian special services are growing more and more each day. Mr. Epstein apparently had unlimited access to large sums of money - he continued.

- We cannot allow, and will not allow, that any instances, if they have occurred, of Polish children being exploited by a pedophile network and by the organizer of this satanic ring, Mr. Epstein, that any victim, if such there was, anyone harmed, particularly Polish children, then of course we will do everything so that both those responsible and potentially those who were wronged, not only see the activity of the Polish state, but also to provide redress if there is a need, and above all, to effectively prosecute those who commit such horrific crimes – he continued.

Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha reported another Russian attack, publishing a video showing a fire in a hit residential skyscraper.

“Temperatures in Ukraine have dropped below -20°C (-4°F). Russia attacked with 450 drones and over 60 missiles overnight, including ballistic ones. Main targets: energy and residential infrastructure in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Sumy, Odesa, and other regions,” Sybiha wrote.

He stated: “Putin waited for temperatures to drop and amassed drones and missiles to continue his genocidal attacks on the Ukrainian people. Neither the expected diplomatic efforts in Abu Dhabi this week, nor the promises made to the United States have stopped him from continuing acts of terror against ordinary people in the middle of the harshest winter.”

“We are dealing with terrorists who must be forced to cease their violence,” he indicated.

Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski commented on the Ukrainian minister’s post. “That’s the extent of Putin’s promise to the US President,” wrote the head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

- No, but it's also about how she speaks, how she expresses herself. She is also a woman who was previously an international affairs analyst, a former ambassador to Moscow; she is certainly a more serious figure than Ms. Hennig-Kloska - he continued, after the host pointed out that Pełczyńska-Nałęcz is "a bit further from Civic Coalition."

- It's hard to consider Ms. Hennig-Kloska as a very serious politician - he went on to say.

And she already hinted that the best candidate for Deputy Prime Minister would be Szymon Hołownia, which is an obvious jab at Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, about whom everyone knows that as soon as she wakes up, her first thought is to be Deputy Prime Minister.

- He is de facto sending his own understudies [...] there are ambassadors who are still functioning, should be functioning within the legal framework as ambassadors, Minister Sikorski has de facto forcibly recalled them to the country, and sent some understudies - said Marcin Przydacz on Trójka.

- Diplomacy cannot be conducted with the help of understudy ambassadors - he continued.

- I, if we can talk about backing candidates, backed Szymon Hołownia because he is the founder. He essentially gave birth to this party, and all the careers that have developed within Polska 2050 are solely and exclusively thanks to Szymon Hołownia. I believe he should consolidate this party. Whether this party will consolidate or if a second season of this series will be opened – that remains to be seen, Piotr Zgorzelski said on "Gość Radia ZET".

- President Trump is undertaking a series of actions aimed at bringing about peace in the context of the Russian war against Ukraine. If President Trump were to succeed in bringing about a just, lasting peace in Ukraine, in the sense of stopping Russia and creating conditions for peace, then absolutely, truly without Mr. Czarzasty's opinion, he should absolutely receive such a Nobel Prize – said Marcin Przydacz on Trójka.

- A president who would bring about peace should receive such a Nobel Prize – he continued.

- We can even sometimes agree with the Minister of Foreign Affairs on some matters – he went on to say, after being prompted by the host that he sounded like Radosław Sikorski, who had stated that he himself would sign such a motion if Donald Trump managed to negotiate a just peace.

- The President must, so to speak, apply the principle of adequacy. If he expects parliamentary clubs to discuss bills with him, he should try discussing his own, not just tick off the submission of a bill. Submitting a bill is not a success. Success is submitting it and seeing it through all legislative stages - said Piotr Zgorzelski on "Gość Radia ZET".

- In my opinion, no [the bill on energy prices is not being blocked], but if there is such a perception in the President's Chancellery, then Minister Bogucki should come to Marshal Czarzasty and talk - he stated.

- And that's exactly what I said. I am absolutely convinced there is no threat to the majority's stability - stated Adam Szłapka on TOK FM.

- We don't rule out such a possibility, because, as you know, Mr. Editor, anything is possible in politics.
