Żurek on the New Team:
We May Need to Ask the Americans for Full Documentation.
- Perhaps we will also be creating a real investigative team, which will have powers similar to those of prosecutors in investigations, and perhaps we will also need to ask the Americans for full documentation. We see in the media that only parts of documents are shown, some of them are obscured, but we also hear that there is a very large number of documents that have not been disclosed. Due to personal rights, and drastic things contained within these documents - stated Waldemar Żurek at a press briefing.
20:28
- Never say never when it comes to the future. However, today there is no such decision, because there are no elections. We started as a coalition, and it was a substantive coalition - said Miłosz Motyka in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News, when asked about the return of the PSL and Poland 2050 coalition.
20:25
Kierwiński on Czarzasty's Contacts:
I Wouldn't Get Involved in Such Matters If I Were the President's Officials.
- Something that greatly surprised me, namely some suggestions from the President's Chancellery about some strange contacts of Marshal Czarzasty - said Marcin Kierwiński on TVN24.
- If I were in the shoes of the President's officials and PiS officials, I wouldn't get involved in such matters, because many questions could also be asked about the President's own contacts - he continued.
- This looks like cheap, populist politics being conducted by President Nawrocki's Chancellery, completely unnecessarily - he went on.
- Marshal Czarzasty is, after all, [...] under counter-intelligence protection. If the President or his circle have any doubts about this, they should rather not talk about it, but report it to the appropriate authorities. However, this looks more like a lot of hot air - he added.
20:22
Kierwiński on the National Security Council Session Date:
It's a Minor Malice.
"I think it's a minor malice, but I'll say it quite frankly, I'm more intrigued by the topics," said Marcin Kierwiński in an interview with Monika Olejnik on TVN24's "Kropka nad i," when asked why the president chose the same day for the National Security Council (RBN) session as Radosław Sikorski's exposé is planned.
20:21
- There is no such deputy prime minister [for Poland 2050] in the coalition agreement. On the other hand, I also did not participate in talks that would determine the appointment of an additional deputy prime minister. However, if this happens, the coalition council will decide on it, not individual ministers - Miłosz Motyka said on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń".
Asked if Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz is a good candidate for deputy prime minister, he replied: - If there is such a decision from the Prime Minister and the leaders of the coalition parties, then Poland 2050 will be able to nominate such a candidate. Well, it's hard to imagine it wouldn't be the party leader - if such a decision were to be made.
20:05
Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Hołownia Joining the Government:
Absolutely Not Interested.
- I spoke with Marshal Hołownia today and he once again very clearly told me that he is absolutely not interested [in the position of Deputy Prime Minister and joining the government] - stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach" (Facts after Facts).
20:04
Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Meeting with Tusk:
In the Coming Days.
- I think in the coming days. It's not out of the question [that a meeting with Donald Tusk will take place on Friday]. Here, the Prime Minister's calendar, with all due respect to myself, is, however, more occupied - stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in TVN24's "Fakty po faktach."
20:03
Motyka:
Poland is energy-secure. The system operated stably and safely, even exporting energy
- This morning, another record was set in terms of energy production, in terms of our system's capacity to generate that power. A record in power generation - stated Miłosz Motyka in an interview with Marek Tejchman on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).
- We generated a record amount, and at the same time, we were exporting. Our system operated stably, safely, and fully efficiently, while also exporting energy. Therefore, in this regard, it has been confirmed once again that Poland is energy-secure despite record-high demand - he indicated.

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:
The Prime Minister Responded Positively to the Idea of Us Talking
- Very kind words, and I also greatly thank the Prime Minister for such kind congratulations. For me, and also in recognition of my competitor, it was a long, difficult, but also demanding and substantive campaign, and the Prime Minister announced a meeting - stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in "Fakty po faktach" on TVN24.
- At some point, they went too far with some people, but I absolutely cannot say a single bad word, either from my side or from Minister Hennig-Kloski's side; nothing of the sort happened. Now we are together, we are moving forward, democracy has shown its strength, the people of Poland 2050 voted, they also showed their will, and we are moving forward. Now is the time for action, and the Prime Minister also responded positively to the idea of us talking. Such a meeting will certainly take place. The meeting, as the Prime Minister rightly emphasized, will be about matters - she continued.

The Chancellery of the Sejm firmly responds to the President's move:
If there were a threat, the relevant services would have reacted long ago.
- The Marshal of the Sejm is under constant, full counterintelligence protection and has access to classified information of the highest classification - informed the Chancellery of the Sejm in a statement, responding to the meeting of the National Security Council convened by the President.
- If there were any threat, the relevant services would have reacted long ago - it was stated.
- The National Security Council has an advisory and political character. It does not replace the services, and they have not found any irregularities - it was emphasized.
16:33
Morawiecki on convening the National Security Council:
Nawrocki Enters the Game.
- President Karol Nawrocki is entering the game. This concerns the security of the Polish state. The matter of possible Russian connections and Eastern social-business contacts of the Sejm Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty is being brought before the National Security Council. Such a move means one thing – the matter is truly serious. Poles want to know the truth - stated Mateusz Morawiecki in a recording published on social media.

“Today, a meeting took place at the Presidential Palace between the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, and the First Lady, Marta Nawrocka, with singer Dorota Rabczewska, journalist Krzysztof Stanowski, and Member of Parliament Łukasz Litewka,” – the Chancellery of the President informed.
“The Presidential Couple was accompanied by Minister Mateusz Kotecki and Nina Nawrocka,” – it was stated.
As read: “The meeting was organized in response to disturbing reports about the dramatic conditions in which animals are kept in shelters in Bytom and Sobolew. For years, there have been egregious neglects and unacceptable treatment of animals there.”
“During the meeting, President Karol Nawrocki attentively listened to the postulates presented by the interlocutors. Among the most important matters mentioned were, among others, the proposal to increase penalties for animal cruelty and the revocation of animal ownership rights for perpetrators of such acts,” – it was indicated.

"The President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, has convened a meeting of the National Security Council, which will take place on February 11th (Wednesday) at 2:00 PM" - wrote Rafał Leśkiewicz on X.
"Three topics will be discussed: The loan taken out by the Government for the implementation of the SAFE Program; Poland's invitation to the Peace Council; The actions undertaken by state authorities aimed at clarifying all circumstances surrounding the eastern social and business contacts of the Marshal of the Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty" - he continued in his post.

- This is a team being formed in coordination at the Prime Minister's request, as the matter is very serious. It concerns, firstly, potential Polish connections, as information about this has appeared in the media. Secondly, there is enough evidence in the public domain to believe that this operation is being carried out by Russian services, which could directly threaten Polish security - stated Adam Szłapka at a press conference in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
The creation of a team concerning the Epstein affair was announced today by the Prime Minister.
- Apart from the fact that it is repulsive, for these two reasons it is a matter that needs to be addressed systematically, and at the Prime Minister's command, such a team will be established - the government spokesperson continued.
- It will be coordinated by Minister Waldemar Żurek, the Prosecutor General, and Minister Tomasz Siemoniak, the coordinator for special services. Minister Żurek will chair this team, and it will consist of prosecutors, police officers, and intelligence officers, the most professional ones, dealing with security matters, investigative and analytical aspects of such materials, in order to enable further proceedings - he explained.
As he indicated: - The composition of this team will not be public. Minister Żurek will communicate on this matter, but he will begin activities immediately. It will be a small team.
- There are over 3,000 documents, the analysis of which alone is time-consuming, and these are matters that must be examined. Polish connections have appeared in the media - for this reason alone, Polish services simply must deal with this matter with the utmost diligence - Szłapka added.
14:35
Szłapka Skeptical About Gawkowski's Current Digital Tax Proposal:
It's Far Too Early to Call it a Government Project.
- Yes, I am aware that the Ministry of Digital Affairs is preparing such a project [regarding the digital tax]. This is – I believe – a very preliminary stage of work on this type of project. I would like to remind you that the ministry responsible for tax changes is the Ministry of Finance, and it is this ministry that introduces such solutions - stated Adam Szłapka at a press conference in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
- And for any such solutions to be considered by the government, there must first be an agreement between these individual ministers, and then there is a whole procedure, which is also not a short one: inclusion in the register, the government's work programming team, the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers, and only then is the project submitted for government debate and only after being accepted by the government does it go to the Sejm - he continued.
- So for now, it is a project that – as far as I know – the Ministry of Digital Affairs is working on. It is far too early to say that it is a government project - he emphasized.

Dobrzyński:
Russians are very keen on sowing discord between Poles and other EU nations and Ukrainian citizens
- Russians are very keen on de-informing Poles, on sowing discord between Poles and other European Union nations, on sowing discord between Poles and Ukrainian citizens. We simply cannot let this happen or allow it - said Jacek Dobrzyński in an interview with Karolina Bielińska on TVP Info.
14:29
Szłapka on Poland 2050:
I See No Threats to the Coalition’s Duration or Stability.
- I see [the possibility of cooperation with Poland 2050 in the coalition] well. I have been cooperating with Poland 2050 for over two years, and this cooperation has been going well. Both as the Minister for EU Affairs and as the Government Spokesperson, I have cooperated well with ministers from Poland 2050. I see no threats to the coalition’s duration or stability. Rather, I see that the internal situation within Poland 2050 is calmer - stated Adam Szłapka at a press conference in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (KPRM).
- Even difficult elections, because they were very emotional, in no way ever threatened – I think – the stability of the coalition - he continued.
14:20
Dobrzyński on the Detained Ministry of National Defence Employee:
He Collaborated with Foreign Intelligence, Sold Poland.
- This is certainly a very shocking case. A man who worked for many years at the Ministry of National Defence has turned out to have collaborated with foreign intelligence, acted to the detriment of Poland, sold Poland, betrayed Poland - said Jacek Dobrzyński in a statement to TVP Info.
- The Military Counterintelligence Service became interested in the case. It was the officers of the Military Counterintelligence Service who gathered [...] very strong, incriminating materials on this matter. Today, an arrest took place. The man was detained at his workplace, i.e., at the Ministry of National Defence, where he had worked for several decades - he continued.
- He was not a soldier; he was a civilian employee of the Ministry of National Defence. The case is very serious, and it is multifaceted and complicated - he went on to say.
- It will be the prosecutor who decides when and, above all, what charges to present to this gentleman - he added.
12:33
- I don't need to tell you how serious the implications are for the security of the Polish state, this possibility, increasingly likely, that Russian services co-organized this procedure, which can only mean one thing - that they also possess compromising materials on many leaders active to this day - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.
- This matter must also be investigated by us due to the security of the Polish state. It is possible that we will also encourage other partners to conduct an international investigation into this matter - he continued.
12:31
Tusk on Planned Visit to Kyiv:
The Minister of Finance Will Accompany Me for a Reason.
- I have already informed you that I am traveling to Kyiv this week at the invitation of President Zelenskyy - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government meeting.
- As you know, the promises President Trump spoke about, reportedly made by President Putin, that Russia would suspend attacks during the cold weather, have unfortunately not materialized, have not been fulfilled - he continued.
- I spoke with our Ukrainian partners; I was very moved by what they said when they invited me to Kyiv, saying: the presence of a leader from another country always somewhat deters the Russians, so perhaps, thanks to your visit, we will be able to catch our breath from these types of attacks, at least for a moment - he went on to say.
- Today, when the world is focused on many different matters, and it seems as though some have slightly forgotten that a brutal war is being waged there [...] it is probably good to show that Poland, Ukraine's closest ally and neighbor, stands with it in these difficult times, and that is why I decided on this visit - he added.
- There is also a very serious, substantive reason: the Minister of Finance and Economy, Andrzej Domański, will accompany me on this visit for a reason. He is, together with his team, preparing a global conference for the reconstruction of Ukraine, which will take place in Poland, in Gdańsk, in June. We will discuss this, the organizational details, with our Ukrainian hosts - he noted.
12:30
Tusk on Experts' Honey Trap Theories:
Highly Probable It Was a Prepared Russian KGB Operation.
- More and more commentators and experts are assuming that it is highly probable that it was a prepared Russian KGB operation. This so-called honey trap, a sweet lure, a trap set for Western elites, mainly the USA - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government meeting.
- I am mentioning this not to share my emotions or sensations with you; the whole world, though perhaps some in Poland are still exceptionally reserved in reporting on this matter, is talking about it and wondering what risks it poses to individual countries - he continued.
12:24
Tusk:
Growing Evidence Suggests Pedophilia Scandal Was Co-Organized by Russian Special Services
- More and more traces, more and more information, comments in the global press and media concern the suspicion that this unprecedented pedophilia scandal was co-organized by Russian special services. Among others, a very well-known Scottish journalist yesterday asked essentially key questions, and they concern every government, all over the world - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government meeting.
- These are questions about what we intend to do about it, as suspicions of Epstein and this entire pedophilic circle being linked to Russian special services are growing more and more each day. Mr. Epstein apparently had unlimited access to large sums of money - he continued.
- The sources and origin of this money remain unexplained. He collaborated with many young Russian women who were prostituted by him; that was the beginning of this business. No one can answer the question of why it was so easy, in the spotlight in fact - the Prime Minister emphasized.
12:17
Tusk on the situation with heating plants and boiler rooms:
I will request a detailed report.
- I will ask those responsible for crisis situations for an urgent report, still during today's government session, regarding the situation in some heating plants and boiler rooms. As you know, there was a rather massive and unfortunately consequential failure, including in Gdańsk - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk before the government session.
- We also know that many schools are postponing classes with students due to low temperatures, so I will also ask for a detailed report from those places in Poland where the low temperatures have been particularly severe - he continued.
12:17
- Together with the Minister of Justice – Prosecutor General and the Minister-Coordinator of Special Services, we have decided to form an analytical team and possibly initiate an investigation, should our analyses confirm our concerns, in connection with the pedophilia scandal in the USA – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.
- We cannot allow, and will not allow, that any instances, if they have occurred, of Polish children being exploited by a pedophile network and by the organizer of this satanic ring, Mr. Epstein, that any victim, if such there was, anyone harmed, particularly Polish children, then of course we will do everything so that both those responsible and potentially those who were wronged, not only see the activity of the Polish state, but also to provide redress if there is a need, and above all, to effectively prosecute those who commit such horrific crimes – he continued.
12:12
- Allow me to start by congratulating Minister Kasia Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on her victory and Minister Paulina Hennig-Kloska for her honorable and tough, yet friendly, fight. Congratulations once again - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk before the government meeting.
- We will, of course, be discussing potentially new, further, joint ventures in the coming days. I am also pleased with the declaration that this will strengthen the October 15th coalition and that we will continue to work together - he continued.
11:52
- We inform that this morning, at the Ministry of National Defence headquarters (Niepodległości Ave., Warsaw), a long-term employee of the national defence ministry was detained. The detained individual is suspected of cooperating with foreign intelligence - the Ministry of National Defence announced on social media.
- The case is being handled by the Military Counterintelligence Service, which collaborated with the Military Affairs Department of the National Public Prosecutor's Office and the Military Police during the arrest. Procedural actions are currently underway - it was noted.

Sikorski on Russia’s latest night attack on Ukraine:
That’s the extent of Putin’s promise to the US President.
Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha reported another Russian attack, publishing a video showing a fire in a hit residential skyscraper.
“Temperatures in Ukraine have dropped below -20°C (-4°F). Russia attacked with 450 drones and over 60 missiles overnight, including ballistic ones. Main targets: energy and residential infrastructure in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Sumy, Odesa, and other regions,” Sybiha wrote.
He stated: “Putin waited for temperatures to drop and amassed drones and missiles to continue his genocidal attacks on the Ukrainian people. Neither the expected diplomatic efforts in Abu Dhabi this week, nor the promises made to the United States have stopped him from continuing acts of terror against ordinary people in the middle of the harshest winter.”
“We are dealing with terrorists who must be forced to cease their violence,” he indicated.
Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski commented on the Ukrainian minister’s post. “That’s the extent of Putin’s promise to the US President,” wrote the head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Bosak:
I Wouldn't Want to Enter Government on Just Any Terms
- When it comes to entering the executive branch – of course, as a politician, I would like to enter the executive branch at some point and exercise power. That is obvious. However, I would like it to happen on good terms and with the possibility of implementing our program, which is aligned with the interests of our nation. That is to say, people should see benefit in it, have trust, believe in competence, responsibility, and reason – stated Krzysztof Bosak in Kanale Zero.
- I want such situations to accompany it. I wouldn't want to enter government on just any terms. I believe that the experience of the first coalition with PiS 20 years ago was an entry into a coalition on just any terms, poorly negotiated, in an atmosphere of terrible conflict and political chaos, and if I had the opportunity then to make a decision in place of my leaders at that time, that decision would have been not to enter. I believe it was a mistake then – he continued.
09:26
Bosak on Kanał Zero:
Joint Start with Braun is Ruled Out, Cooperation is Not Ruled Out with Anyone.
- I said yesterday that I rule it out. So nothing has changed to this day. I still rule it out. Not cooperation, but a joint start [with Grzegorz Braun], however, I do not rule out cooperation with anyone and I believe that it is possible to cooperate with everyone. Grzegorz Braun and I cooperated for 6 or 7 years. I assess that time positively - stated Krzysztof Bosak on Kanał Zero.
09:22
Przydacz on Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:
Certainly a More Serious Figure Than Hennig-Kloska.
- I certainly view Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz as a more substantive figure than Ms. Hennig-Kloska, that's clear - said Marcin Przydacz on Trójka, when asked about Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz's victory in the election for the leader of Poland 2050.
- No, but it's also about how she speaks, how she expresses herself. She is also a woman who was previously an international affairs analyst, a former ambassador to Moscow; she is certainly a more serious figure than Ms. Hennig-Kloska - he continued, after the host pointed out that Pełczyńska-Nałęcz is "a bit further from Civic Coalition."
- It's hard to consider Ms. Hennig-Kloska as a very serious politician - he went on to say.
09:22
Zgorzelski on Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:
As soon as she wakes up, she thinks about being Deputy Prime Minister.
- You [to Bogdan Rymanowski - ed.] are an observer of the political scene, and you know that if the election results for the chair are almost fifty-fifty, the conclusion is that this party is deeply divided - said Piotr Zgorzelski in "Gość Radia ZET".
Responding to the observation that yesterday Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz appeared at a conference together with Paulina Hennig-Kloska, he replied: - Who, the latter, didn't look too happy, one might say. And she already hinted that the best candidate for Deputy Prime Minister would be Szymon Hołownia, which is an obvious jab at Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, about whom everyone knows that as soon as she wakes up, her first thought is to be Deputy Prime Minister.
09:17
Przydacz:
Sikorski Sends 'Understudy' Ambassadors
- He is de facto sending his own understudies [...] there are ambassadors who are still functioning, should be functioning within the legal framework as ambassadors, Minister Sikorski has de facto forcibly recalled them to the country, and sent some understudies - said Marcin Przydacz on Trójka.
- Diplomacy cannot be conducted with the help of understudy ambassadors - he continued.
09:17
Zgorzelski:
I backed Hołownia. He should consolidate this party
- I, if we can talk about backing candidates, backed Szymon Hołownia because he is the founder. He essentially gave birth to this party, and all the careers that have developed within Polska 2050 are solely and exclusively thanks to Szymon Hołownia. I believe he should consolidate this party. Whether this party will consolidate or if a second season of this series will be opened – that remains to be seen, Piotr Zgorzelski said on "Gość Radia ZET".
09:11
Przydacz on Sikorski's Stance Regarding a Nobel Prize for Trump:
We Can Agree on Some Things.
- President Trump is undertaking a series of actions aimed at bringing about peace in the context of the Russian war against Ukraine. If President Trump were to succeed in bringing about a just, lasting peace in Ukraine, in the sense of stopping Russia and creating conditions for peace, then absolutely, truly without Mr. Czarzasty's opinion, he should absolutely receive such a Nobel Prize – said Marcin Przydacz on Trójka.
- A president who would bring about peace should receive such a Nobel Prize – he continued.
- We can even sometimes agree with the Minister of Foreign Affairs on some matters – he went on to say, after being prompted by the host that he sounded like Radosław Sikorski, who had stated that he himself would sign such a motion if Donald Trump managed to negotiate a just peace.
09:11
Zgorzelski:
If the President Expects Clubs to Discuss Bills with Him, He Should Try Discussing His Own
- The President must, so to speak, apply the principle of adequacy. If he expects parliamentary clubs to discuss bills with him, he should try discussing his own, not just tick off the submission of a bill. Submitting a bill is not a success. Success is submitting it and seeing it through all legislative stages - said Piotr Zgorzelski on "Gość Radia ZET".
- In my opinion, no [the bill on energy prices is not being blocked], but if there is such a perception in the President's Chancellery, then Minister Bogucki should come to Marshal Czarzasty and talk - he stated.
09:03
Szłapka:
I am absolutely convinced there is no threat to the majority's stability
- And that's exactly what I said. I am absolutely convinced there is no threat to the majority's stability - stated Adam Szłapka on TOK FM.
09:03
- We don't rule out such a possibility, because, as you know, Mr. Editor, anything is possible in politics. Today, the Polish People's Party, if elections were to take place in a few days or weeks, is going under its own banner - said Piotr Zgorzelski in "Gość Radia ZET", when asked whether Poland 2050 and the PSL should reunite.
09:02
Przydacz:
It seems absurd to me to ask a former PZPR member if the US President can receive a Nobel Prize
- I am surprised that anyone is asking Marshal Czarzasty whether Donald Trump can receive a Nobel Prize or not. And what would Marshal Czarzasty have to say about the awarding of Nobel Prizes? It's a joke - said Marcin Przydacz on Trójka.
- It seems quite absurd to me to ask a former member of the PZPR, a communist activist, whether a democratically elected American president can receive a Nobel Prize or not - he continued.
- I understand that some lobbying was attempted, but I think the representatives of the House of Representatives lacked vigilance to direct such a question to Mr. Czarzasty. I would consider him to be the last person I would ask whether Donald Trump should get the Nobel Prize or not - he went on.
08:59
Szłapka on Meeting with Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:
The Prime Minister Meets with Ministers Regularly on Tuesdays, at Government Sessions.
- The Prime Minister meets with ministers regularly on Tuesdays, at government sessions, Adam Szłapka stated on TOK FM.
- I think such a meeting will certainly take place. However, I don't see a particular problem here, because ministers meet with the Prime Minister regularly, and there is always an opportunity to talk. In fact, I have seen many times… I disagree with this statement, such meetings take place regularly. Every Tuesday there is a government session, and always after the government session there is also an opportunity to exchange information - he continued.
- Who is the Deputy Prime Minister and how the functioning will look like, the Prime Minister will decide on this - the government spokesperson emphasized.
08:56
Przydacz on the Peace Council:
We Will Not Pay a Billion Dollars, There Is No Such Expectation from the Americans.
- We will certainly not pay a billion dollars, there is no such expectation from the Americans at all, this needs to be cut short, because a lot of disinformation has accumulated around this - said Marcin Przydacz in Trójka.
- Exactly [three years for free], there are three years, an invitation for Mr. President Nawrocki as a representative of Poland to work, there is no need to pay any fee, after three years the host, i.e. President Trump, can decide to extend this mandate - he continued.
08:54
Says Szłapka When Asked About Hennig-Kloska's Words:
I'm Learning About This Idea From You,
- 'I am learning about this idea [from Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP, that perhaps support should be considered for seniors with the lowest incomes] from you. Certainly, when the minister presents some concrete solutions… I think ministers Hennig-Kloska and Motyka have cooperated many times. After all, before the Ministry of Energy was established, they worked in the same ministry. A series of good laws were prepared, for example, the renewable energy act' - stated Adam Szłapka on TOK FM.
- 'Certainly, Minister Motyka and Minister Hennig-Kloska will work on solutions that are best from the citizens' perspective. Moreover, they have proven many times that they do so. The energy voucher, for example, or the solution regarding renewable energy sources, were such solutions that were always focused on people, on cheaper, cheaper bills' - he continued.

- A reward for anyone who can answer the question: what is the government's position on this matter, does the government believe we should join the Peace Council or not - said Marcin Przydacz on Trójka.
- It doesn't have to [the government doesn't need the request on its desk], no, let's not exaggerate - he continued.
- There's nothing in that opinion [from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs], beyond some platitudes like 'it's an interesting, intriguing initiative'. It's not an overly developed opinion; it was a sidestep to leave the President alone with this topic - he went on to say.

Czarnek on Trump's Words:
He Should Correct That.
- Donald Trump certainly should not use such phrasing, which raises so much controversy. 44 victims, including one civilian, it seems, and 43 soldiers on the front in Afghanistan - these are truly victims who served world peace, and any devaluation of their presence in Afghanistan is completely unnecessary and serves no one. He should clarify what he meant, whom he meant, because certainly not Poland - stated Przemysław Czarnek on RMF FM.

Przydacz:
We See Nothing Wrong with the Prime Minister Visiting Kyiv
- I have no information about the Prime Minister informing the President of his travel plans, however, the Prime Minister absolutely has the right to visit such an important country as Ukraine, so we see nothing wrong with the Prime Minister going to Kyiv - said Marcin Przydacz in "Political Conversation on Trójka," when asked about Prime Minister Donald Tusk's planned visit to Kyiv.
- It is important to also raise matters that are significant from the perspective of our interests - he continued.
- I don't know what the Prime Minister will be discussing, and I'm afraid we won't find out after this visit either, because for half a year [...] we haven't received a single note from the Prime Minister's conversations from the Prime Minister's Chancellery - he added.

Czarnek on Braun’s Voters:
We Want to Offer Our Vision of Responsible Right-Wing Politics.
- There is no doubt that half, or even slightly more than half, of those who declare support for Grzegorz Braun's Confederation of the Polish Crown, were our former voters. We have lost, I don't know, the character of a radical group on the right, and yet there is a segment of society that holds onto such radicalism. We do not want to shift back to the right; we want to offer all these people our vision of responsible right-wing politics, and that is the defined task today - stated Przemysław Czarnek on RMF FM.

Czarnek:
I have excellent information on the President's health and he is recovering well
- I have excellent information on the President's health and I know that everything is moving in the right direction. This infection will likely be cured this week, and I am glad that it happened that the President can truly calmly recover from the infection in this air, which is difficult today, although clean, but cold - stated Przemysław Czarnek on RMF FM.
- I don't know that [if he will be released by Friday] because I am not a doctor, so I wouldn't want to make any diagnoses or prognoses about leaving the hospital, but from what we know, this treatment is approaching a happy conclusion - he continued.

Czarnek Asked About the Nobel Prize:
Trump Has Done Much More for Peace in the Last 12 Months Than Obama.
- If Barack Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize for being elected President of the USA without any merits for world peace, then why shouldn't Donald Trump receive it? - stated Przemysław Czarnek on RMF FM.
- In any case, I would sign up for it. Donald Trump has indeed done much more for peace in the last 12 months than Barack Obama when he received the Nobel Prize - he continued.

Czarnek on the timeline for presenting PiS's prime ministerial candidate:
The leadership’s intention is to back one leader.
- Mateusz Morawiecki is an excellent politician with great experience, but as we've heard, the criteria are such that one must be under 50 years old. I barely meet that myself. But if we were to look at the potential autumn 2017 elections, I would already be over 50. Unless there are early elections this year, I might still fit in at the last minute - stated Przemysław Czarnek on RMF FM.
- I think this is also the intention of our party's leadership, particularly the party chairman, to back one leader and conduct a very strong pre-election campaign and then the election campaign behind them. It's a good idea - he continued.
- And this is probably some kind of problem, because undoubtedly there may be some difficulties here due to the fact that the President is certainly pleased with Minister Bogucki, as he performs this function excellently, but we will see. The announcement will probably not happen tomorrow. I suspect it will be in the spring, but this is really still an unspecified matter - emphasized the PiS politician.

The government will convene for a session at 12:00 PM. The agenda includes, among other things, a draft amendment to the Tax Ordinance.
Ministers will also address a proposal requiring information about the pool of funds at the disposal of ministers, as well as BGK's financial plans and funds, to be included in the justification of the budget act. In practice, this is the implementation of one of the KPO's (National Reconstruction Plan) milestones.
Tuesday also marks the first day of the Monetary Policy Council's meeting.
