At its final session of the year, the Council of Ministers will address the draft bill on the status of a close partner in a relationship and the agreement on cohabitation, along with its implementing provisions.

As we reported on 300POLITYCE before the holidays, at its first session in 2026 – scheduled for January 8th and 9th – the Sejm may consider the aforementioned government draft bill.

- I believe the most important reflection is that a camp aiming to be a very large one, above 30%, and ideally 40% of society, must gather voters from various sides, shape public opinion, and respond to public calls. - I am of the opinion that we must gather voters very broadly. Therefore, let some people focus on, let's say, the electorate that is closer to Grzegorz Braun. I believe the largest portion of the electorate consists of people who think about development, about their wallets, worry about their children, about their children's education, about healthcare, about their mother falling ill, about not having the next loan installment because interest rates are too high - he continued.

- These are the people to whom I extend the offer of a normal Poland. A Poland that deals with the daily affairs of Poles, while simultaneously not avoiding the identity agenda, which is very important, because it is very close to me - he emphasized.

- In my opinion, I identify the problems of the present day quite well and try to grasp what is important to Poles. President Karol Nawrocki, when he was still a candidate, and you gentlemen referred to this in the previous question, was casting, so to speak, looking for voters everywhere and won thanks to a broad spectrum of support - stated Mateusz Morawiecki on the program "Polityczny WF".

- So, people who voted for Ms. Magdalena Biejat, and also those who voted for Marshal Hołownia, contributed to Karol Nawrocki's victory. In our case, some voters left us in 2019. When I was the face of the campaign in 2019, we were winning, we had record results then, because there was an agenda of investment development in every municipality, in the districts, right? And it seems to me that people want this above all else - he continued.

- I have the impression that we are, of course, under fire from all sides, from the ruling party, because I have never before seen such an engagement of the state apparatus to destroy the opposition as we have today. That is, in the sense of since 1989 - stated Mateusz Morawiecki in a conversation with Piotr Witwicki and Marcin Fijołek on the program "Polityczny WF".

- Along the way, there was of course Lesiak and Lesiak's closet, but when "Gazeta Wyborcza" most likely receives special materials from the services, which it then uses to attack the head of the National Security Bureau, then for me, this is mental Belarus, but I am only showing this as a digression - he continued.

- Fundamentally, however, we need to push forward with topics that are important to people. Internally, we are pursuing an agenda that is close to every person, namely healthcare, but also education, and inflation. Poles' shrinking wallets in relation to prices - emphasized the former Prime Minister.

- I think if we look at the President's campaign, we'll see what the main topics were back then. It was development. It was investments, young people, what's for young people. The President, by the way, gained immense support from young people, much to the astonishment of the Warsaw establishment. - I didn't see many topics that strictly polarize the right and the left, or any LGBT topics. Even the issue of abortion, which appeared at the very beginning of the President's campaign. And I think this is also a recipe for the future – continued the PiS Vice-Chairman.

- That is, what are our plans in housing, what in healthcare – we showed something here, we have nothing to be ashamed of. Of course, it wasn't perfect, but we showed that waiting lists for doctors could shorten, and now they are lengthening again. We showed that 80,000 more apartments per year could be built than in the times of our predecessors. Now the number of apartments being built is falling again – emphasized the former Prime Minister.

- From Poland's perspective, it is more important that where a given formation simply has better contacts, it is easier for them to organize this type of meeting, and simply use those skills and opportunities. - It is the interests of our country that should be presented there, regardless of political affiliations. Because really, the PO-PiS brawl, especially concerning Poland's security, should be put aside – she stated.

- Whether it will be President Nawrocki or Prime Minister Tusk – frankly speaking, I think that from the perspective of an ordinary citizen of our country, this is less important. What is more important is what will be said there and what guarantees for Poland will be provided – she assessed.

I would like the most important people in the state, in a situation where we are discussing security guarantees for Ukraine, which has an impact on the security and future of our country, the future of the region, to simply not behave like children in a sandbox - she pointed out.

- This is truly disqualifying. The head of Donald Tusk's chancellery should resign. This is Putin's propaganda. This is Kremlin propaganda. Well yes, Stalin drew up plans in 1939, and Putin today repeats Stalin. That short period when Yeltsin was president of Russia has passed.
