Instead of Intervening with His Patron in Washington, He Attacks the EU and Ukraine.

Bielan:
Trump Knows Nawrocki's Views on Ukraine Peace Perfectly. No Need for Weekly Calls
- Regarding contact with Washington – that contact exists. I am in contact as a representative of PiS with our friends in Washington, but I also know that the President's advisors are in constant contact with President Trump's advisors – Adam Bielan said in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News's 'Graffiti'.
- President Trump knows Poland's views, the Polish President's views on this conflict, on how the issue of Russian aggression in Ukraine can be resolved, perfectly. This was the lion's share of the bilateral conversation on September 3rd at the White House. So there is no need for both presidents to call each other every week – he stated.

Jabłoński:
If Russia Achieves Any Territorial Gains, Russia Will Initiate Further Conflicts
- Moral issues are, of course, important, but from our point of view, from a security perspective, it's not so much about what is moral or immoral here, but whether we will be safe or not. If Russia were to achieve any de jure or de facto gains as a result of this war, it would mean one thing: that Russia would consider that initiating the war was worthwhile, and since it was worthwhile, it would be worthwhile to initiate further ones, and Russia will initiate these further wars, posing a mortal threat to us. - said Paweł Jabłoński in the "Morning Ring" on Super Express.
08:16
Berek on Ukraine Talks:
It's Not About Racing to See if the Polish Prime Minister is Everywhere.
- He wasn't in Geneva, but Ukraine was there, and so was the European Union, represented by three states and by the European Union as such - said Maciej Berek in an interview with Dominika Wielowieyska on "Poranek TOK FM," when asked about the absence of Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Geneva.
- It's not about racing to see if a Polish representative, the Polish Prime Minister, is everywhere. It's about ensuring the European Union's voice is heard, and that's not a voice in which we differ. All the most important EU member states and the Union as a whole adopt the same perspective - he continued.
- So, it's important that the European Union is represented at that table - he went on to say.
08:20
Jabłoński:
Without Morawiecki's Policy, Russia Would Likely Have Conquered Ukraine
- We are doing everything to push aggression away from us, we are helping Ukraine because Ukraine is pushing that Russian aggression away from Poland. This is the function of the actions we have been implementing since 2022, but as early as 2021, Prime Minister Morawiecki was building this coalition against Russian aggression, which was already on the horizon. It was effective policy. Because without this political mission of Prime Minister Morawiecki, we would have a completely different situation; Russia would indeed likely have conquered Ukraine very quickly, and we would have Russian troops on our entire eastern border; that would be the reality. Perhaps Russia would already be preparing to attack us today - Paweł Jabłoński said in "Morning Ring" on Super Express.

- This kind of game, 'money is lacking for healthcare,' you can always say that; under any government, it could be pointed out that there's a shortage of healthcare services because it's somewhat in the nature of the treatment process that it's becoming more expensive and there's always some deficit - said Maciej Berek on TOK FM.
- Saying 'give money for treatment instead of sending support to Ukraine' [...] an attempt to build this message that there will be a shortage in healthcare because we are supporting Ukraine, that is a pro-Russian narrative - he continued.
- This is about the fact that because of the war in Ukraine, where we stand on the side of Ukraine, which is defending its independence and our security, and here you can insert, if one wants to pursue this narrative as PiS does, you can insert any second part of this sentence: there will be a shortage in health, a shortage in education, a shortage in snow removal from streets - he went on to say.
- This is a false narrative. One must not make these kinds of intellectual, pseudo-intellectual connections. One must firmly oppose this. This is pro-Russian propaganda - he added.

Bielan Criticizes Government for Not Participating in Geneva Talks:
It's Humiliating.
- Regarding the [Ukraine and USA] meetings in Geneva, one must ask the government, because the European side organized these meetings – said Adam Bielan on Polsat News' "Graffiti".
- Prime Minister Donald Tusk boasts about Poland's excellent position in Europe. Radosław Sikorski boasts about his excellent position as Minister of Foreign Affairs. And when it comes down to it, the leaders of four countries meet: Italy, France, Germany, the United Kingdom. Poland is absent. When there's a visit to Kyiv and Tusk goes there, because it's hard for him not to go since the train departs from Poland, Tusk is shown a second-class carriage – he continued.
When asked if the Prime Minister would present Poland's point of view on the American peace plan for Ukraine in Angola, he replied: – And this is humiliating, because the entire Union meets in Angola, it's a European Union summit with Africa, dedicated to completely different topics. Talks concerning Ukraine took place yesterday and will continue today in Geneva.

- Last week, it was probably Thursday, I had the opportunity to be in the Prime Minister's office. The Minister of Health was there, and she was again asked if she had any information, she was asked to verify whether situations of turning away oncological patients had occurred anywhere - Maciej Berek said on TOK FM.
- After verifying this, the Minister of Health said: we have not had such a case - he continued.
- I will not precisely answer on behalf of the Minister of Health what happened, what is the basis for this distorted message from the Supreme Medical Chamber. To the question of whether there were situations of oncological patients being turned away from scheduled procedures with a "receipt" [a document indicating refusal of service], she replied: no, we have not had such a situation - he went on, when asked if there were only cases of postponing procedures that could be performed later to next year.
- Were there changes in dates? I don't know, it's not impossible, but I haven't verified it - he added.
08:42
Siemoniak:
Trump's and US Determination, and Ukraine's Readiness for Talks Should Be Appreciated
- Certainly, President Trump's and the US's determination to bring about peace should be appreciated. It should be appreciated that Ukraine is ready for talks, is ready to conclude a peace agreement. However, the attitude of Putin and Russia is a great unknown. They are speaking cautiously, it is difficult for me to assess whether this signifies some kind of acceptance of this direction. Last night they are bombing, killing, everything is happening as it has for these nightmarish nearly 4 years - stated Tomasz Siemoniak on PR3.
08:43
- I will start with the opinion of some lawyers that actions concerning the Constitutional Tribunal, including those taken by the government, are a violation of the law - said Maciej Berek on TOK FM, when asked about the ruling coalition's intentions regarding the Constitutional Tribunal.
- I would gladly ask them if the fact that the Constitutional Tribunal can issue a ruling in 24 hours on a matter that is politically significant for the political and social friends of individuals sitting in the Tribunal, and even issue such a ruling prohibiting the application of a law [...] such a precautionary measure, prohibiting the application of certain provisions until the Tribunal considers them - he continued.
- This body, which currently functions as the Tribunal, has completely escaped the framework that the Constitution provides and that the law describes. And this must be remembered, because what is happening is a reaction to this situation, not some actions that arose without cause - he continued speaking.
- I am a strong advocate for us to state in the coming weeks what the future of the Tribunal's functioning will be. We have a new Marshal of the Sejm, an important person who will co-decide in this process, and I think it is a matter of the coming weeks for some clear declarations to be made in this regard - he added.
08:47
- You need to ask Prime Minister Morawiecki. He has been very active in programmatic work in recent months, holding a series of panels in Katowice. Like many other vice-chairmen and leaders of PiS, we are currently focusing on direct contact with voters - Adam Bielan said on Polsat News's "Graffiti," when asked about Mateusz Morawiecki's absence from Saturday's PiS programmatic meeting.
- We have a statement from the press spokesperson reacting to this media smear, which clearly states that all programmatic work is coordinated by Professor Piotr Gliński, who was the main organizer of the programmatic convention in Katowice... - he continued.
- Professor Gliński was also responsible for these recent weekend discussions [...]. We have several dozen, if not over 100 people in various programmatic teams who are involved in this work. The work there is voluntary, and anyone willing can... - he continued.
- Mateusz Morawiecki was present, and very actively so, at the programmatic convention in Katowice. He is probably at most of the panels organized later, so there is no sensation here. Someone who puts out such a smear to the media [about Morawiecki being "cut" from programmatic work] is doing us great harm - he pointed out.
As he emphasized: - I suspect who it is and I appeal to him, to this person, to end such politics. Unfortunately, it's someone from our ranks who, I think, can't handle the pressure. Perhaps I will speak with him myself this week, because I have a session in Strasbourg. I didn't say that [that it was someone from the European Parliament].
08:50
Jabłoński Criticizes Sikorski and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Reaction to Yad Vashem's Post:
We Are Regularly Defamed.
- The reaction of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs was completely inadequate. This is something that should unite us all. Yad Vashem is an official institution of the State of Israel. The head of Yad Vashem is chosen by the Israeli government. It is not some independent institute. It represents the agenda of the State of Israel. If the State of Israel, through its institution, accuses Poland of perpetration, of co-perpetration in a crime, it is written there that Poland was the country where Jews were ordered to wear armbands. Not Poland, there was no Poland, because at that time Germany was occupying Poland - Paweł Jabłoński said in "Poranny Ringo" on Super Express.
- If you look at the posts from a year ago, two years ago, three years ago on the same matter, on the same anniversary of Hans Frank's shameful decree, Poland did not appear then. This year, someone added Poland there. So they probably did it deliberately. And now, what should be the reaction of the Minister of Foreign Affairs? He wrote, Mr. Sikorski, wrote two short tweets with spelling errors: "I very much ask you to correct this, to adjust. I apologize very much, but this is completely inadequate, we are regularly defamed for co-perpetration of the Holocaust - Jabłoński continued.
08:55
Berek on Presidential Legislative Initiatives:
An Attempt at Destabilization.
- We have recently seen a surge of legislative initiatives from the President that encroached upon areas for which the government is responsible - said Maciej Berek on TOK FM, when asked about accusations against Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty of activating the "freezer" and about the term "marshal's veto," which does not exist in the Constitution.
- This will be decided by the Marshal of the Sejm [whether to proceed with the President's initiatives] [...] if there is an area of government responsibility, if there are any laws for which the government is responsible, then the government should present and does present proposals for their changes, and any attempt by the President to encroach upon this area is nothing more than an attempt to destabilize it - he continued.
- It is the government that is responsible for the execution of laws, for presenting what is to happen in healthcare, education, and energy; this is the government's responsibility - he went on to say.
- The President does not have tasks in this regard, and therefore, if his initiative appeared once in a while, one might think "this is an interesting idea," but because it appears serially and without any chance for parliament to consider it positively, it is solely an attempt to stir up the situation and hinder normal functioning - he added.
08:59
Bielan:
We Cannot Compete with Confederation and Braun on Radicalism
- We have ideas [to stop the outflow of voters to Confederation and Grzegorz Braun], I won't reveal them here. But we are approaching this calmly - said Adam Bielan in "Graffiti" Polsat News.
Responding to the comment that for now it looks like PiS is competing with Confederation on radicalism, he replied: - A fair diagnosis. I think we need to draw conclusions from this. I think this is a mistake, because we will never win a bidding war on radicalism with Grzegorz Braun, as you put it.
- However, if we move on to a discussion about healthcare, I am, for example, curious how Confederation would like to improve the current situation. Because knowing the views of some Confederation leaders on this matter, it seems to me that the vast majority of Poles do not share them - he continued.
09:10
Bielan on PiS's Mistakes:
The Topic of Migration, Which We Focused on Recently, Was Not the Most Important for Poles.
- I think we made a lot of mistakes, what I would call image-related. We probably focused on the wrong topics. [...] I think the topic of migration, which we focused on in September and October, was not the most important topic for Poles today. I think healthcare is such a topic - said Adam Bielan on Polsat News's "Graffiti".
- And as you can see, for several weeks we have been trying to respond to the expectations of our voters; we are very active in this matter. There will also be a major programmatic conference next weekend dedicated to healthcare. Besides, the President is also focusing on this topic - he continued.
10:03
Kosiniak-Kamysz on the Number of Applications to the Cyber Legion:
We Underestimated the Commitment of IT Professionals to State Defense.
"General Molenda was at a conference where heads of cyber forces met, there was a conversation with our strategic ally, the United States, and our cyber forces are absolutely leaders, at the very forefront, they are best rated by our allies, by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and by our strategic allies from the United States," said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the inauguration of the Cyber Legion program.
"Not wanting to waste this potential, wanting to expand it, in May the General approached me with a proposal to create the Cyber Legion. What is the Cyber Legion, those who are in this hall know best, because they are already a part of it. It is an invitation to cooperation for all the most outstanding specialists in the digital field, modern technologies, IT, but also artificial intelligence, so that they can cooperate daily with the Polish Army, with the command of the cyber defense component," he continued.
"Some of you have already joined and taken the oath. They are soldiers of the Polish Army, they are in active or passive reserve. Some will never join the army because they have other tasks, also other predispositions, other skills. Some will join," he went on to say.
"When we started this program, the bar was set at gathering 400 people in a few months who would want to be in the Cyber Legion. The first weekend already showed that we underestimated. And we are most proud of this, that we underestimated the commitment of IT professionals in Poland to state defense," he added.
"We already have 2,000 people. We wanted to have 400 after a year, and after a few months we have 2,000 people who have applied to us, and a large part of whom have already passed verification. [...] We have 2,000 people willing to support state security and who are on 48-hour standby," he emphasized.
10:04
Kosiniak-Kamysz on the Threat to Poland:
Regardless of How the Situation in Ukraine Ends...
- Regardless of how the situation in Ukraine ends, the situation for Poland will not change. In fact, I would say the opposite, until stabilization in Ukraine, the threat to Poland, especially in cyberspace, because the adversary will have more forces and means to direct them here, might become more difficult - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during the inauguration of the Cyber Legion program.

Nawrocki:
Poland and the Czech Republic Lead in Independence from Russian Gas
- I, ladies and gentlemen, would also like to draw attention to our energy cooperation, which was also part of our one-on-one conversation, as well as our talks with our colleagues. Poland and the Czech Republic, of which I am proud as President of Poland, are leaders in the European Union in becoming independent from Russian gas, and thus building our energy sovereignty and independence - said Karol Nawrocki during a press conference with the President of the Czech Republic in Prague.
12:44
Tusk After Informal Meeting of EU Heads of State and Government on Ukraine:
A Very Serious Conversation.
- We started the day with the Ukrainian issue. At the informal meeting of the European Council, not everyone is present here, but others joined us, so essentially all leaders participated in this meeting - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference.
- It was a very serious conversation, serious in terms of mood as well; there is little reason for any over-optimism. We will all support this process, in which, God willing, a chance for the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war, or at least its suspension, emerges - he continued.
12:48
Tusk on European states' stance regarding US peace plan:
Some of these proposals are unacceptable.
- There is full agreement on the European side that the 28 points presented a few dozen hours ago require reworking, and some of these proposals are unacceptable - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference.
- It is particularly important from a Polish perspective that no agreement, no, I emphasize, in any way weakens Poland or Europe, our security - he continued.
- For me, the most important thing is that everyone understands the problem with this 28-point plan more or less the same way, that we must also work with the American side to explain in every possible detail that no agreement or no peace conditions can favor the aggressor, cannot weaken Europe, Poland, or Ukraine - he went on to say.
12:50
Nawrocki on Trump:
The Only Person in the World Ready to Force Russia into Peace.
- Discussions about resolving this issue, which is the most crucial for our region, following the Russian Federation's attack on Ukraine, and this is worth knowing, naturally overlap with continuous diplomatic work, my work as the President of Poland, further meetings, but also discussions with President Donald Trump, in various European formats, or a bilateral meeting like today's, right here in the Czech Republic, is that one of the topics is, of course, what is happening in Ukraine after the Russian Federation's attack, so diplomatic work is carried out, one could say, constantly and continuously in these areas, in this regard - stated President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in the Czech Republic.
- My stance on this issue, which I have expressed publicly many times, also does not change, and I want to emphasize this. There is no doubt that the Russian Federation is the aggressor, there is no doubt that it is in the interest of European states, including Poland, to strive for lasting peace, not a peace that would provide an opportunity to mobilize its assets and lead to another war in the following years, in the following decades - he continued.
As the President of the Republic of Poland said: - I view the Russian Federation as a state that does not keep its agreements, and therefore it is a threat to any potential peace that would be signed. I also have no doubt that the only person in the world ready to force the Russian Federation into peace is the US President Donald Trump, whom I of course support and I think that the cooperation of European states, especially Central European states, which are directly on the border of the war, but cooperation with NATO and with the USA, with the US President, gives hope for resolving this conflict in a way or form that would be appropriate for Poland and for all Central European countries.
12:52
President Nawrocki in the Czech Republic:
I Await President Zelensky in Warsaw
- It would be my pleasure to visit every subsequent place, every subsequent country with the [Czech] President. The Czech Republic is a very important partner for us. Regarding bilateral relations between Poland and Ukraine, regardless of the fact that our strategic interest is, of course, to support Ukraine, which Poles, both men and women, and I, as the President of the Republic of Poland, have demonstrated many times, I await President Zelensky in Warsaw. I hope that Zelensky will accept my invitation to Warsaw - stated President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in the Czech Republic.
12:58
- We are all determined, that's how it looks, to resolve the issue of these so-called frozen Russian assets by the end of the year, or rather by the European Council meeting in December - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference.
- It cannot be that Europe will pay for what Russia has done, not to mention that Ukraine should not suffer from the destruction that Russia has wrought upon it in this war - he continued.
- I hope, this is not yet a final decision, there are still concerns from some European countries, but we are much, much closer to a decision that these Russian financial resources, which are at Europe's disposal [...] will support Ukraine both now and for the reconstruction period - he further stated.
13:03
Tusk Firmly Addresses Proposal Regarding Fighter Jets in Poland:
That Point No Longer Exists.
- You've hit the nail on the head precisely - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press conference, when asked if a proposal concerning the stationing of European or NATO fighter jets in Poland would not benefit Russia, as if only fighter jets are mentioned, Russia might then demand the withdrawal of ground forces from NATO's eastern flank.
- Everything indicates that this point is rather a Russian viewpoint, meaning it is manipulation or a certain trap. No one will be drawn into it. [...] We can calmly consider that this point no longer exists - he continued.
13:10
- Chancellor Merz has already informed me of the details of his conversation with President Trump and of his assessment of Russia's economic situation and the negotiations that took place in Geneva – Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference.
- He also assured me that Germany, and the same was said by Giorgia Meloni, with whom I had the opportunity to speak, and Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Council, all maintain that Poland should participate in all formats concerning discussions about future peace and the end of the war. So I can say that I have full support here – he continued.
- I will ensure that we do not push ourselves into situations with potential trouble for Poland, and for clarity, I will not authorize or take on any guarantees for Poland and on our shoulders that we do not want to give – he went on to say.
13:18
Tusk Declares Support for Nawrocki's Potential Actions:
I'm Counting on Greater Activity, Let Him Not Hesitate.
- Many weeks ago, President Nawrocki told me in a conversation that he was ready to take on, because he has excellent relations with President Trump, or at least he believes so, he is ready to take care of this fragment of our international relations, claiming that he certainly has better relations than I do - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference.
- I do not rule it out, I am not, as you know, an enthusiast of all of President Trump's words, deeds, or decisions, I have never hidden this, so I am counting on greater activity from President Nawrocki. If he is able to arrange anything, let him not hesitate, and I will truly support his actions with full conviction, if he decides on any - he continued.

Siwiec Appointed Head of the Chancellery of the Sejm:
Something like that is what we are planning, of course without using live ammunition.
- Today, Speaker Włodzimierz Czarzasty presented me with the nomination for the position of Head of the Chancellery of the Sejm. Did you watch the movie "The Expendables"? For example, part 3? Something like that is what we are planning, of course without using live ammunition ;-) - wrote Marek Siwiec on social media.

Tusk's Strong Reaction to Yad Vashem's Post:
Bad Faith, Embarrassment, Stupidity.
- When I read the information with this text, I couldn't believe my eyes. Yad Vashem is a serious institution, a very serious one, and Jews and this institution have no need to distort history, because it is so obvious - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference, when asked to comment on Yad Vashem's post.
- To me, it looks not even like a mistake, but like some bad faith, I don't know, of whoever drafted this text, because it is so contrary to history, so obviously false that sometimes your hands really fall, but ours won't, and that's why the reaction of Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz and Prime Minister Sikorski on this matter was immediate - he continued.
- I am counting not only on them avoiding such mistakes in the future, but also on a clear stance. Meaning, I am convinced that everyone in Israel knows that it was Germany, the Nazis, Hitler, Governor Frank, yes, they are responsible for what happened in Poland between 1939 and 1945, and they are responsible for the crimes against Polish citizens, Jews living in Poland - he went on to say.
- I hope that this embarrassment, because I have to call it that, this embarrassment of Yad Vashem in this specific case will awaken some of their attention and conscience and they will not do such stupid things again - he added.
13:46
- The date of the trial in the case of Zbigniew Ziobro and the request for a police convoy leave no room for doubt – Donald Tusk wants the former Minister of Justice to be arrested, and he wants this to be the main topic of conversation at the Christmas table – Mariusz Błaszczak wrote on social media.
- Tusk is doing everything to feed the narrative for “Silni razem” [Stronger Together] and divert public attention from the crisis in healthcare, drastic electricity price hikes, and the high cost of living in shops – emphasized the head of the PiS parliamentary club.
Tusk robi wszystko, by dać pożywkę dla „Silnych razem” i…

Nawrocki:
I am a supporter of Poland in the EU, but there are issues reserved solely for the Polish Constitution
- Let me be clear. I am a supporter of Poland in the European Union, but I believe that issues such as the political system, justice system, or security are reserved solely for the Polish Constitution, the Polish President, and the Polish government. Just as they should be reserved for every member state - said Karol Nawrocki during a lecture at Charles University in Prague.
- I understand my role as President of the Republic of Poland not as someone who questions our presence in the European Union, but as a leader who, based on the countries in the region, based on our sensitivities and emotions, will build a stronger Central Europe within the European Union. If any of you find this vision acceptable and, frankly, close to your political heart, I am more than willing to continue the conversation - the President of the Republic of Poland continued.
16:35
- Since the misleading post has not been corrected, I have decided to summon the Ambassador of Israel to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - stated Radosław Sikorski on the X platform, referring to a Sunday post by Yad Vashem Institute.

The President suggests a veto:
Any thought of censorship is alien to Polish political culture.
- Furthermore, we stand for the rejection of the European Commission's regulation – (DSA). Any thought of censorship is alien to Polish political culture. As early as the end of the 16th century, Jan Zamoyski, Great Crown Chancellor and Great Crown Hetman, in response to the request of Ivan the Terrible's Muscovite envoys to burn books depicting the Kremlin ruler in a negative light, replied: "We here in this Republic do not forbid writing any books, nor do we command it" - said Karol Nawrocki during a lecture at Charles University in Prague.
16:38
Nawrocki:
Our goal was not for the EU to dictate the terms of our system, our diet, or the upbringing of Polish children
- At the outset, I would like to emphasize: the European Union is our natural political environment. But let's be honest: it is not the Union of our dreams. We joined the European Union, which was meant to give us, and did give us, economic opportunities. It also gave us the chance to unleash our entrepreneurial potential. We joined the European Union in order to be able to use the Schengen Area, and we are benefiting from that. However, the goal was not for the European Union to dictate the terms of our system, our diet, or the upbringing of Polish children - said Karol Nawrocki during a lecture at Charles University in Prague.
16:40
Nawrocki:
Poland Advocates for Maintaining the Unanimity Principle
- Bearing this in mind, in order to halt, and consequently reverse, the unfavorable process of EU centralization, Poland advocates for: first, maintaining the principle of unanimity in those areas of EU decision-making where it currently applies - said Karol Nawrocki during a lecture at Charles University in Prague.
16:43
- To avoid being merely theoretical. We are not just offering a negative message about what we believe is wrong. We are not lamenting. We have a positive message. We have a Polish program for the European Union, the main assumptions of which I would like to briefly present to you - said Karol Nawrocki during a lecture at Charles University in Prague.
-The starting point for the discussion are two fundamental assumptions: the masters of the treaties and the sovereigns deciding on the shape of European integration are and must remain the Member States, as the only functioning European democracies - the President of the Republic of Poland continued.
President Nawrocki presented proposals for the EU:
16:55
Nawrocki:
Our Relations Are Marked by History, but We Support Ukraine
- I am 100% certain that these relations are marked by our shared history, because we would like to commemorate the victims of the Volhynian massacre. We are responsible, I am responsible as the President of the Republic of Poland for 120,000 people, children and women, who were murdered by Ukrainian nationalists. So, I think the history of our nations, but of course we support Ukraine. We supported Ukraine after 2022. We are open. We understand the strategic goal, a strategy calling for Poland and Central Europe. So we continue to support Ukraine, but we would like to be treated by Ukrainians as partners. We are partners who help, and we are partners who also face challenges - said Karol Nawrocki during a lecture at Charles University in Prague.

Żurek on the Arrest of a Man in the Railway Sabotage Case:
We Won’t Let Anyone Go Unpunished.
- As I promised, we will track down everyone who has raised a hand against the safety of Polish women and men. Today, we have imposed pre-trial detention on Wołodymyr B., who actively cooperated and is accused of cooperating with Russian intelligence and cooperating in acts of sabotage on the Polish railway system – said Waldemar Żurek in a recording published on his social media.
- We won’t let anyone go unpunished. […] Thank you very much to the team of prosecutors and all representatives of the police and services. We quickly identified the perpetrators, and now, by following the thread, we are identifying others – assured the Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General.
- We will detain them and track them down all over the world. The services will act, the state will be strong, and citizens will be safe – he concluded.

- I know the constitution, I know the Sejm regulations. I know what the powers of the Marshal are […]. There is no such institution as a 'Marshal's veto'. […] This is my protest against the absolutely burgeoning populism all around - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń".
He continued: - Let me give an example. A bill comes, and there was already such an initial bill project, regarding VAT, which costs Poland 110 billion zlotys. I'm already abstracting from where it comes from. Such [I'm talking about the presidential project]. […] The source of financing for this refers to: "let the government find the money for it". So I have such a question: wouldn't it be better to indicate the source of financing?

Czarzasty Criticizes President's Draft:
Should We Take 110 Billion from Hospitals, Social Benefits, Arms Purchases?
- A bill is coming, and there was already a preliminary draft of a bill regarding VAT, which costs Poland 110 billion zlotys. I'm already abstracting from where it's coming from. That [I'm talking about the presidential draft]. [...] The source of funding for this is the reference: 'let the government find the money for it.' So I have a question: wouldn't it be better to indicate the source of funding? - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".
- What are the three sources of financing for such enormous projects? I'll take the three largest ministries. Mr. President: are we to take 110 billion from healthcare, from hospitals? Tell us. Are we to take 110 billion from people's social benefits? Tell us. Are we to limit arms purchases by 110 billion? Tell us - he stated.

- I received such a briefcase because I just received it today. There are so many bills that haven't been processed. Tomorrow I've invited Minister [Dariusz] Salamończyk for a long conversation asking: well, if all bills are being processed, then what are the unprocessed bills doing in this briefcase? - Włodzimierz Czarzasty said on Polsat News' 'Gość Wydarzeń' (Guest of Events).
- So Szymon Hołownia wasn't lying? That 'freezer' hasn't disappeared? - asked Bogdan Rymanowski.
- I will never say a bad word about my coalition partner, and that's how I differ from the words of some of my coalition partners - replied the Marshal of the Sejm.

Czarzasty:
I'm Here to Support the Coalition and the Government
- We are a coalition of four parties. I am the Marshal [Speaker of the Sejm] elected by the MPs of these four parties. I am here to support this coalition, to support this government, because Lewica [The Left] is co-creating this government - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.
- Therefore, I will not make any moves that would introduce elements of disarray, instability, or similar situations, because that is not my way - he declared.
20:18
- Right now, the entire procedure, one of the stages of the procedure related to filling the positions of Constitutional Tribunal members, is concluding. Before I initiate the next procedure, I will be asking my coalition friends from Poland 2050, the PSL, and Civic Platform for a meeting - Włodzimierz Czarzasty said on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).
- I will be asking for such a meeting because in this matter, I would like us to establish a common stance - he added.

Czarzasty:
If the Jewish nation wants to be respected, then we demand that the Polish nation also be respected
- I have a firm message on this matter [of the Yad Vashem Institute's entry], a firm one and without any smile on my lips: if the Jewish nation wants to be respected, then we demand that other nations, including the Polish one, also be respected - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty on "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

Czarzasty Declares Regarding His Phobia:
If the State's Interest Requires It...
- I will ask him [Szymon Hołownia] to take on part of the foreign affairs responsibilities within his duties. Everyone knows, one must speak honestly about one's weaknesses: I don't like flying, I have a phobia about it - Włodzimierz Czarzasty said on "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events) on Polsat News.
- But I want to assure you and the public very unequivocally: if the state's interest, the Polish raison d'état, requires me to be at some meeting and it is unavoidable, then of course I will put my phobia in my back pocket and that's that - he declared.
- In other matters, if they are of a smaller format - slightly smaller, so that God forbid I don't diminish the role and seriousness of Mr. Szymon Hołownia - I will ask Szymon to represent the Polish Sejm. Szymon was an excellent Marshal of the Sejm - he added.

Czarzasty comments on Pełczyńska-Nałęcz's words:
So polite, with a smile on her face, this advice.
- What about the president's project to lower electricity prices? This is an important issue for people. People will have higher bills from January 1st. Will it be processed normally? It's currently in consultations - Bogdan Rymanowski asked on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).
- So it is being processed - Włodzimierz Czarzasty replied.
- And do you think this project needs to be accelerated? Because even your colleague, Minister Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, says there are good solutions in it. So it's not populism - the host inquired.
- Such polite, likeable advice, with a smile on her lips. If there are good solutions, we need to create a good project for the October 15th coalition. Utilize the good solutions that are there, add our own good solutions, and present a sensational project. And to you, Madam Minister, very possibly a Deputy Prime Minister in the near future, I will politely ask for this, with a smile on my face - replied the Marshal of the Sejm.
