At 10:30 AM, a press conference will be held in the Sejm by the leader of the PiS parliamentary club, Mariusz Błaszczak, along with Michał Wójcik, Marcin Warchoł, Sebastian Kaleta, Jacek Ozdoba, Jan Kanthak, Janusz Kowalski, Mariusz Gosek, Maria Kurowska, Norbert Kaczmarczyk, and Sebastian Łukaszewicz.

- When I look at Zbigniew Ziobro, joining Mr. Romanowski as a guest of Prime Minister Orban, I come to the conclusion that, above all, they have something on their conscience. People who have nothing to hide, who do not have to fear independent courts, do not flee to Budapest or to TV Republika, depending on the situation. They do not prolong their stays abroad indefinitely and do not rage about a dictatorship, but rather present themselves before the court and explain very serious charges, and the prosecution has presented very serious charges to Zbigniew Ziobro and his colleagues - Magdalena Biejat said on Polsat News' “Polityczne Graffiti”.

- They are proceeding at a good pace [with the accountability of the PiS governments]. Of course they are [the system is prepared for the potential detention of Zbigniew Ziobro]. We have quite modern penal institutions with hospital wards. I was recently in one such penal institution, because whenever I travel somewhere and meet with judges and prosecutors, I also try to meet with prison guards - stated Waldemar Żurek in a conversation with Marcin Zaborski on Radio Zet.

- First and foremost, we need a broad reform of the healthcare system, encompassing both its financing and its functioning. Naturally, that is why, as Lewica, we have already presented a proposal to move away from the health contribution, transitioning to budget-based financing. This is because today, we are already living in a bit of a fiction. You speak of continuously injecting money. This money comes from the state budget – said Magdalena Biejat in "Polityczne Graffiti" on Polsat News.

- At the moment when someone is protected by immunity, they are a free person. And we cannot apply methods like those used by authoritarian regimes. It seems to me that Minister Ziobro is a very active politician at this time - stated Waldemar Żurek on Radio Zet.

- If his immunity is lifted and he fails to appear for procedural actions, and we receive court approval for his arrest, then of course we will apply all these procedures just as we would for any ordinary Kowalski. Ziobro will not be treated even a millimeter more leniently or harshly here. That is the essence of the rule of law - stated Waldemar Żurek on Radio Zet.

- I am a supporter of maintaining these provisions. I believe that the PSL has one good idea, because Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said that if we do not support his proposal to abolish the two-term limit in local government, he will propose transferring this two-term limit to parliament as well. I think this is a very good idea, I believe that the principle of a two-term limit should apply to everyone elected, because it is simply healthy - said Magdalena Biejat in "Polityczne Graffiti" on Polsat News.

- Either he will stay, or he will return [Zbigniew Ziobro from Budapest]. However, this is very short-sighted thinking, to be honest, because even if he stays, Orban’s position is probably weakening there too. So, elections will come eventually, power will change to democratic power, and that power will simply react as power should react – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty on TVN24's "One on One."

- With Mr. Orban, the situation might be such that in the future, he, his government, and members of his government might face the same problems that Mr. Morawiecki’s government faced – he stated.

- I don't have that kind of power because the president holds a higher office. I talk about this in the media, but my boss is the prime minister, so if the president invites the Minister of Justice, as he invited us once to a Cabinet Council, and the prime minister says: yes, please explain to the president, I will go as soon as possible - stated Waldemar Żurek on Radio Zet.

- He [convicted of murder by the court in Poznań] is obviously not being released at this moment, because many PiS activists tried to manipulate public opinion by saying that we would now be releasing murderers. Nothing could be further from the truth; we are all paying the price for having improperly appointed judges, and what would have happened is that criminals, offenders could later go to a tribunal which would award them compensation because they were tried by an improperly constituted court - stated Waldemar Żurek on Radio Zet.

Mateusz Morawiecki posted a new video on the X platform, criticizing the government for its actions regarding ETS2, writing:

- The government announces the revision of ETS2 as a Polish success in Brussels, the Prime Minister adds, we blocked ETS2 - says the narrator in the recording.

- When we talk about ETS2, we managed to include the key word for us, which is revision, and this means the possibility of blocking it so that it does not come into effect in 2027 - says Donald Tusk in the recording.

- Sounds good, right? Except it's a lie. There is not a word in the European Council conclusions about any blocking. There is only one sentence. Literally one sentence about facilitating the entry into force of the system and a request to the Commission to show its proposals, and these are clear and have long been approved. Trading of permits and high fees for CO2 emissions for companies, and this means frighteningly high energy bills for citizens. There is no mention of any delay, suspension, blocking, or liquidation of ETS2. Tusk has deceived, and we will pay dearly for it - the narrator continues.

- You would like me now, before the decisions that await us, to reveal what our idea is. We have a legal idea how to change this. Please pay attention to what has happened to the tribunal. Previously, when you were a journalist, you had the right to enter any hearing at the tribunal. What suddenly happened during the PiS era? The tribunal became a fortress, it does not admit the media, it transmits what it wants, in the way we sometimes see it in these technical camera feeds, because the tribunal has become a political body and does not admit the media - stated Waldemar Żurek on Radio Zet.

- I would like these new judges, if they are elected legally, to show what work in the tribunal looks like and to show citizens the difference. Here you have Mrs. Pawłowicz, Mr. Piotrowicz, and Mr. Święczkowski. Do you want such a composition? And here you have legal authorities, professors, widely recognized and respected, who show you the inner workings of the tribunal - he continued.

- I want to show two states – legal and illegal. Let's wait, time will tell [if Bogdan Święczkowski will be the president of the Constitutional Tribunal] - the Minister of Justice emphasized.

- This is a chronicle of a foretold death. It simply had to happen - Włodzimierz Czarzasty said on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden" (One on One), when asked about the accusations against Zbigniew Ziobro concerning the Justice Fund, included in the motion to lift his immunity.

- But how arrogant did one have to be, how impunity did one have to feel? They were preparing for this. They knew what they would do. […] They thought they could do it, that they were doing it in their own name, or God's, or everyone's, that they were impunity. And it ended - he continued.

- Yes, we saw what the previous president did. All citizens assessed it absolutely negatively. And here is an appeal, really, to the state that is listening to us. We cannot live in a mafia state. A mafia state will consist of an independent court convicting a criminal, and the president will not do so for the reasons for which pardons were usually granted - stated Waldemar Żurek on Radio Zet.

- First and foremost, for me, what is absolutely sad, even embarrassing, is that individuals who claim to be Polish patriots are seeking protection from someone who so openly cooperates with Putin - said Adam Bodnar in an interview with Renata Grochal on "Bez uników" on Trójka, when asked if he believed Zbigniew Ziobro would seek asylum in Hungary.

- We must remember who Viktor Orbán is in contemporary politics today, what role he plays, and how much he undermines [...] our entire raison d'état in the context of Russian aggression against Ukraine - he continued.

- I understand that in such a situation, individuals who are suspected seek protection in various places, and Marcin Romanowski paved the way - he went on to say.

- Some say you're entering a rotten compromise with the PSL. Because on the one hand, you're agreeing to something [abolishing term limits] that you've opposed for many months and said that PiS made a good decision, and on the other hand, you have the close relative act, which is just some hollow shell of what was supposed to be in the civil unions act - Agata Adamek said on TVN24's "One on One".

- On November 4th, the European Parliament's legal affairs committee will meet and consider another request to lift Grzegorz Braun's immunity. This will be the second request, and his case has already begun in the Warsaw court, with a chance for a first-instance verdict in March or April 2026 – he continued.

- That would be the constitutional consequence, as Article 99 of the Constitution stipulates that individuals convicted by a final and legally binding judgment for intentional crimes cannot run in elections. - It seems to me that encouraging President Nawrocki, convincing him that it is important to simply restore the constitutional shape of the National Council of the Judiciary, would be desirable - said Adam Bodnar on Trójka.

- Moreover, the President could benefit from this in a way, I would say, symbolically, namely, starting from the middle of next year, he could make judicial appointments without any problems, no one would question them, everything would be as it should be - he continued.

- Perhaps, step by step, we could lift our justice system from this - he went on to say.

"If Prime Minister Donald Tusk deems it necessary to guarantee the possibility of exercising electoral rights, then it seems to me that it should be supported," said Adam Bodnar on Trójka, when asked if he supported the abolition of term limits in local government.

- Completely absurd, unfounded attacks on Minister Zbigniew Ziobro, on Minister Michał Woś, now on MP Dariusz Matecki. All this connected with the lack of rule of law, with the violation of the Constitution, laws, only indicates that Donald Tusk's government is harming Poland. These blows to the foundations of the Polish state consequently result in a murderer being released - he continued.

- Tusk's brazenness is unprecedented. In this video, which is frankly embarrassing, where Donald Tusk talks about how after soup, after żurek, there will be a second course, there will be dessert, Donald Tusk behaves like a Moscow satrap. He shows that the verdicts are already indicated, written, he is just looking for executors for these verdicts - and Waldemar Żurek is somehow setting up these executors - stated the head of the PiS parliamentary club.

- I have one question, if I may, because it's very interesting. At 9:44, there's information about a 159-page document that reached the Marshal of the Sejm. I congratulate your thoroughness, but the problem is that Minister Ziobro did not receive it, while TVN did. It's very interesting how it's possible for a prosecutor to send a request not to the relevant party, Minister Ziobro, but to TVN, but that's just by the way - stated Jacek Ozdoba at a press conference.

Przemysław Czarnek posted a video on social media accusing Tusk's government of a gigantic scandal.

- "Do you want a real scandal? Here you go. Łukasiewicz Research Network. Here in Macierzyz, just outside Warsaw, on the border of Warsaw, at the junction of S8 and S2, near the planned final metro stop, there is a multi-hectare plot of land, tens of hectares, which the State Treasury, the Łukasiewicz Research Network, is selling to some blueberry farmer, linked to a development company. Selling it for how much? For about 20 million zlotys" - says Przemysław Czarnek in the recording.

- "The transaction was halted by the State Treasury's General Prosecutor's Office, still under the leadership of Minister Haładyj, because it raises very serious doubts. Why? Because this land, today, for development, according to estimates, should cost as much as about 460 million zlotys. Note, what kind of land is this? It is land on which I, Orlen, I, meaning of course the Ministry of Education and Science, along with the relevant faculties of the Technical University, other higher education institutions, planned to establish a nuclear simulation center. A place for training nuclear engineers needed to operate SMRs and nuclear power plants, not only in Poland but throughout Europe" - continues the PiS vice-chairman.

- "This is how the simulator should look, this investment was planned, but halted by the Łukasiewicz Research Network. Now this land is being sold off, just like other plots of land and many plots by other institutes are being sold off today for little, overall little money. In this laboratory, in this nuclear simulator, nuclear reactor, people were supposed to be trained who were supposed to bring great profits to Poland, to the Polish economy, to the Polish nation. The project halted, the land being sold for money many times less than its value. So, will any journalist look into this? I kindly ask you journalists, look into this" - Przemysław Czarnek further says.

- In accordance with Article 7c of the Act on the Exercise of the Parliamentary and Senatorial Mandate, the motion to bring criminal charges, detain, and temporarily arrest MP Zbigniew Ziobro has undergone formal review by the legal services of the Chancellery of the Sejm and has subsequently been forwarded to the Committee on Rules of Procedure, MP Affairs, and Immunity, as well as to MP Zbigniew Ziobro - informed the Chancellery of the Sejm on social media.

- The Marshal of the Sejm has set a three-day deadline for MP Zbigniew Ziobro to submit a statement expressing consent to be prosecuted for the alleged offences specified in the motion. The deadline expires on November 3, 2025. The Chairperson of the Committee on Rules of Procedure, MP Affairs, and Immunity has scheduled a committee meeting to consider the motion for November 6, 2025, at 4 PM. After the committee has provided its opinion on the motion, the Sejm will consider the report on this matter - it was announced.

- It is not our intention to keep people on board with Law and Justice who, colloquially speaking, have something to hide. I hope these gentlemen [including Robert Telus] do not, but it has happened in the past, and our party has consistently gotten rid of such people. If it turns out that this time someone has something serious on their conscience, then it will probably end up that way too - said Krzysztof Szczucki in an interview with Karol Surówka on "Rozmowa dnia" (Conversation of the Day) on PR1, referring to the matter of the plot of land under CPK.

- Firstly, I try not to give advice in such situations, of course, because these are difficult, personal choices. Secondly, one must also note that Minister Ziobro currently has no chance of a fair trial in Poland, because the level of emotion towards him is such that it will be difficult for me to imagine any prosecutor, and in principle I already know that this case is being conducted in a biased manner, but also a judge... - said Krzysztof Szczucki on PR1.

- But despite all these reservations, I believe it would be better if, I think it's possible, because we have no information yet that it will be otherwise, that Minister Ziobro will face all these challenges, difficulties, and will participate in this process and expose all its flaws, all its unfairness, and I think that Poles will sympathize with him in such a situation - he continued.

- If he were to ask me for advice, I would probably give him such advice, with the full reservation that ultimately it is, of course, his decision, his life, and his choices - he continued, when asked if he hoped Ziobro would return from Budapest to Poland and respond to the summons from the prosecution and the court.
