- Funding should be allocated in such a way that the centers achieving the best results can operate most effectively. These results in science are measured in two ways - said Maciej Berek in an interview with Karolina Lewicka on "Poranek TOK FM".

- Firstly, it's about ensuring that those fields of science that have, and the vast majority of scientific fields have, contact with the so-called external world, that these scientific centers and the employees of these scientific centers are able to find a link to the external world - he continued.

- I don't see the necessity for amending the budget law this year. So, of course, revenues for this year are lower due to lower inflation, but on the other hand, we have so-called natural savings, we are effectively spending Polish taxpayers' funds, thanks to which we will stay within the deficit limit - stated Andrzej Domański on TVN24's „Rozmowa Piaseckiego”.

- If Ziobro were convicted, he would automatically become a martyr in the fight against the current authorities - said Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski in Super Express's “Morning Ring”.

"Minister Domański is very firmly trying to implement the principle that budget consolidation means reducing extra-budgetary financing. During the PiS government's tenure, we essentially had a second parallel budget. [...] We still have it, but it's becoming smaller and smaller" - said Maciej Berek on TOK FM.

"This is the consolidation, meaning we are moving funds from extra-budgetary funds, which are outside formal parliamentary control [...] to the state budget" - he continued.

- Everything indicates that if we don't want to be a subordinate partner to anyone ever, we must fight to form a government with someone who, among other things, will give Konfederacja the position of Prime Minister. - I am deeply convinced that we cannot enter a coalition with anyone who will not give us control over the Internal Security Agency - he indicated, when asked about the services.

- Grzegorz Braun, in principle, is not really interested in governing, but in proclaiming certain thoughts and ideas. If there are no minks, the cost of disposing of waste from poultry and fish slaughterhouses will be between one and one and a half billion, and a German company that has taken over the entire disposal system in Poland will profit from it. And do you know how much compensation will be for those who voluntarily, not waiting 8 years, but voluntarily give up these minks? 25% of the value of what they breed, 20%, and 5% less in the next 4 years. - What lies ahead? We wanted this act and the text of this act and amendments to the act to be based on truly three pillars. Every candidate chosen for bodies involved with public media must, above all, meet the requirements of being apolitical and an expert. What does this mean? Apolitical means, among other things, not belonging to a political party for 5 years prior to the moment of candidacy, not holding a position in a political party, and not having run in general elections for at least 10 years - said the Minister of Culture.

- Regarding the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT), we envision it consisting of 9 members appointed for 6-year terms with a rotating composition, with one-third of the members replaced every 2 years. The Sejm will elect 4 members, the Senate 2, and the President 3. Additional requirements will, of course, include the support of industry non-governmental organizations - she noted.

- As for the management boards of media companies, we plan for a single-person management board, appointed for 5 years by the apolitical KRRiT upon the recommendation of a competition committee. Who will sit on the competition committee? Firstly, members of the Supervisory Board, and in the case of national companies, 2 members of the Programme Council, and in the case of regional companies - one member of the Programme Council - said Cienkowska.

- We plan to abolish the National Media Council. Its duties will be taken over by the KRRiT - she stated.

- We will propose PLN 2.5 billion in stable funding from the budget, naturally supplemented by indexation for inflation. This is an amount we have managed to work out, also after the audit of TVP, in talks with the Ministry of Finance, out of concern for the state budget, but also after internal discussions concerning, for example, the necessary changes in the mission statement - she said.

- No more license fees, the radio and television license fee is absolutely ineffective - added the Minister of Culture.

- I will answer the first question. The liquidation of public media will be concluded when the new law comes into force and when we will be able to implement changes, public media will be completely depoliticized, they will have new operating principles, we will have new management, a new budget, stable financing - stated Marta Cienkowska at a press conference at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (MKiDN).

- I am deeply convinced, and my colleagues from Konfederacja, when I talk to them, are also convinced, that we cannot afford not to take responsibility for the Ministry of Justice, because we have no reason to cover our tracks, only a reason and a challenge to fix this situation. - A prosecutor has filed an indictment with the District Court in Szczecin in an investigation concerning irregularities in the Fundusz Sprawiedliwości (Justice Fund) against 8 individuals. Among the accused is MP Dariusz M. and two presidents of associations who collaborated with him - said Przemysław Nowak, spokesperson for the National Public Prosecutor's Office, at a press conference.

- This indictment concerns the so-called Szczecin thread, meaning the cooperation of MP Dariusz M. and two presidents of Szczecin-based associations with officials from the Ministry of Justice, one could say, in manipulating three competitions for grants from the Justice Fund - he continued.

- Dariusz M. has been charged by the prosecutor with committing a total of 6 offenses. The first three are related precisely to these three competitions. Two further charges are additionally connected with fictitious employment in the State Forests and obtaining benefits amounting to nearly half a million zlotys from this, and the sixth charge concerns money laundering, of part of the money originating from the crime to the detriment of the Justice Fund - he added.

- Part of this evidence [of employment at State Forests], as we believe, was falsified. All this evidence was presented to us by [Dariusz M.]. The prosecutor assessed this evidence and concluded, and still concludes, that this employment was fictional, at least to a significant extent.
